My 07 chevy cobalt died suddenly without warning. I must admit, I did not have the best credit and I've had a few hiccups during the time I was paying off my 07 cobalt. Although it was paid off when it died, i knew those hiccups would come back to haunt me. But, Lou and the finance team made it work out for me. No money down, nice discounts, and great package deals on my new 2015 Chevy Sonic LT. Although I wasn't thrilled about having to buy a car three weeks before Christmas, I am happy I made the purchase with Lou and the guys over at Lucas Chevy. They were great. Oh, the best part is, they were able to please my mother. She is a pitbull when it comes to big purchases like car buying. She asked a lot of questions and got involved in the financial back and forth and she left happy. They remained professional and light hearted and even joked about her having a job there...lol. The guys over at Lucas are terrific and are worth doing business with. Two thumbs up, and 5 stars.

After months of truck shopping on line and test driving other makes and studying up on pricing and availability I found our truck on line at Lucas Chevrolet. I entered my info and sales got back to me next morning to set up appointment to see and test drive the truck that evening. Salesman Fred very courteous with assisting me with any questions I had. Sales manager Tom Kilroy very professional and open to working out a deal in the sale of truck with my trade in. Financing was also made pleasant with Dougs knowledge and advice on warranties available.This truck was a family investment and upgrade I new what I wanted in a truck and budget and Tom's team made it happen, stress free. I have no alliance with any Lucas employee and will definitely be back for when my wife is ready for a new car and would recommend them to friends and family.

I called early in the morning looking for a same day appointment, I asked if I could bring my truck in at 10:30 for an oil change and a valve stem repair, he said that was fine, I was there at 10:30 and a truck was done by 11:45 and I was on my way. With so many Jeep recalls going on at the moment it has been IMPOSSIBLE for me to find an appointment in a reasonable time frame. When I was finally directed to Lucus, they offered me an appointment very fast while other jeep dealerships were only giving me an appointment option for 3-4 week LATER. I made an appointment for lucus on Thursday for the following Monday. I explained to them that my car was going to be towed to them from an independent mechanic on Thursday (the day I was calling) and to call me and let me know when it got there. Bryan was great and kept me updated on the arrival of my car. He even looked at my car and began working on it Thursday when it had arrived. Bryan then called and let me know that my car will be done either Thursday night or Friday afternoon, which was well before my scheduled appointment on Monday. I am so thankful for the excellent customer service Lucus has provided me in the service department, although I did not purchase my car here, if I have anymore service needs I will in fact come back to Lucus because my home jeep dealership pinebelt lakewood as cause me nothing but headaches! Thank you again for the outstanding service!!

I went in to purchase a Jeep Grand Cherokee after looking up the details online. When I got to the lot the mileage was 10,000 higher than it was advertised as. The salesman, Ralph Ruggiero, said it was because he is permitted to drive the vehicle to and from work. Oddly enough this is not advertised that salesman get to use the lot vehicles as their personal cars. Ralph said it had one owner prior. And when I reviewed the CarFax report it did have one owner - a car rental company. I asked Ralph if it was a rental and he said "No". So I showed him the CarFax report and he starts fidgeting and says "oh well maybe it could have". I then challenged him on why he told me it had one owner if it was a rental and couldn't he disclose it was a rental. He said he was unsure of the details but minutes before was preaching he knew everything about the car. He literally was the stereotype of every bad movie car salesman ever. Management was just as bad. They did not care one bit once they realized I was complaining about their salesman's tactics and not buying a car. My advice is to avoid this dealership at all costs. There is a reason so many give them poor reviews. Actually avoid all Lucas dealerships in general. There are plenty of other places to buy a car where you won't regret it later.

The people working at Lucas are professional and courteous. I know I had a difficult problem to solve, an oil leak that caused me to come back 8 times before it got fixed. I have checked under my vehicle numerous times since the last visit. It is dry and oil free FINALLY! The service desk was always willing to set up a new appointment for the ongoing trouble. That's about all you can ask from them. They did resolve the leak in the end.

We liked the way Harry Cutts helped us find the perfect vehicle for our needs. He was not your typical car salesman people complain about. He was very personable, talked to us like a friend, got to know us, and was very friendly. He did not pressure us into buying something we could not afford. We walked in there to look at a used Dodge Durango, we swore up and down we did not want to buy a minivan. We walked out of there with a brand new fully loaded 2015 Dodge Caravan. He explained the pros and cons of buying a used durango with barely any trunk space, and the the pros and cons of buying a new van with all the space in the world. We were very happy with out service, I will definitely recommend Mr. Cutts to anyone who is looking to purchase a new vehicle.

A few months later we had a sensor fail, no biggy.. it is a USED vehicle (sometimes I think people forget that when they post on here or they purchase a USED vehicle).... It took 7 visits to locate the source of an oil leak and fix it. However, I understand some troubles are much harder then others to find. It seems to be fixed now. We really love our Cruz when it needed a tow we had it towed to Lucas their staff really saved the day Tom the general manager waited 25 minutes after closing and provided my husband with a ride after the vehicle was towed in. The service department staff Gene, Bobby and John repaired my Cruze very quickly and professsionly and returned it to me washed and vacuumed for that I am very thankful. I had a 6PM appt. and was told they could not perform a recall which, by the way I never received, this was the 2nd one on my new Silverado. They said they could not do it because it took 2 hours to do and if it failed the vehicle would not start and there was no way to get me a loaner car for the night. I explained that the vehicle is leased and I live far away from the dealership and really did not want to make another trip back for a recall. To my surprise they stayed late and did both of my recalls and my three month service. What great guys in your service department they are to be commended. Only thing I would like to mention, is my wifes Impala had black marks from the mechanics dirty boots on the kickplate and seat and floor mat of her car upon completion of the job. The transmission on my truck failed in less than a year. Pete in the service department was very helpful in getting my truck fixed and keeping me current on the progress. I then had to bring the truck back in because the trans was slipping in reverse and Pete was able to get the truck repaired in 1 day. Everything seemed great with this dealership experience until my brand new car with 10 miles on it when I drove off the lot had issues. In the meantime, I also found out that the dealership ran my credit 12 times because the finance manager did not put the deal correctly to the banks so they kept trying and trying. And I have good credit, believe me. 1st week of brand new car, had trouble switching gears. When I went to the dealership to get my plates, I discussed the issue with them and they tried to treat me like a dumb female that doesn't understand how to drive. They tried to tell me that I have a special transmission that maybe no one explained to me when I bought the car. Well this is my 9th car buying experience and I've driven over 300,000 in 6 years, so driving is not new for me. Once they took the car back to see if there was anything wrong, it was a major oil leak. Then they tried to apologize for talking to me like I'm an idiot. The car buying process is fast, but for good reason so you don't realize that you've just made a terrible mistake. Please go somewhere else!!

The experience was painless. Went in spoke to the sales representative, test drove the car and was able to come to an agreement. The entire process took about two and a half hour. During the transaction i was offered food and beverages by the sales representative which was a great touch.

I am happy with the service I received from Lucas Chevrolet. However, I am very unhappy that my 2011 Impala has had two transmissions issues with only having 32,000 miles on the car. While salesman was working on the deal ,we decided to look at another vehicle and ended up purchasing it as well .( the same night ) This is the first time that that commimg that close to closing time ,that I did not hear ," come back tomorrow " . My car broke down while I was visiting in NJ and I took it to the dealership closest to me. On Monday, I was told the immobilizer needed to be replaced so I waited 2 days for them to get the part and install it only to short it out because the power input was bad and it needed to be replaced also. So they ordered more parts on Monday and due to weather and New Year's Day the part did not come in until late Saturday, too late to install. I understand how these delays occurred but I do not like the lack of communication. There should have been more information exchanged as to when the part would arrive. I had to call everyday and check on the progress, which was nonexistent. When I got the call the following Monday that the car was ready I quickly paid and drove away. As I entered rt 38, I noticed my speedometer was not working, the tire pressure light was on and the check engine light. I added air and the indicator did not go away. I was so anxious to get home, I drove it home anyways and took it to a dealer near me who fixed the problem right away. Lucas failed to properly program the power module not to mention if I had the work done at home, this dealership would have charged me 1/2 of what Lucas charged.

Rich was the salesman that aided us, and he was absolutely fantastic, product knowledge A+, interpersonal skills A+, speed of service A+. The General Manager Tom Kilroy was also just a wealth of knowledge, obvious A+ interpersonal skills, strong leadership skills and has a clear ability to make tough decisions. While we were planning on purchasing the vehicle, the sales team, and the finance team made everything possible. I wasn't even going to finance thru the dealership, but when their rates came back lower than my pre-approved financing, I was amazed. Fantastic team. Their work in what I would call a primative sales building is nothing short of a superb team effort. Thank you very much for my first new car, the 2014 Chevrolet Impala.

My Wife and I went to Lucas Chevy to buy a 2011 Traverse LT, when we arrive the Internet Salesman we were dealing with isnt even there, So we start dealing with another salesman. Test drive went good, so we started the process to purchase. After an hour of hearing we are waiting for the bank to respond, we leave due to having a new born, We were told that they will call us with an answer with in an hour. 5 hours later no call, so I decide to call, I get the response of, oh we cant do anything for you, I was gonna call you back but forgot. At any time this salesman did not seem like he wanted to sell us the car at all, showed no interest. After being disappointed at Lucas we went to another dealership where we were treated better and got the same vehicle at a better price, with no problem at all.

This has to be one of the worst Dealerships out there. They run your credit and promise you this and that. Then sale the car you wanted to some one else after promising you the car. You pulled the credit for nothing and should have not done that if you already had the car sold to someone else. Phone calls were made over several days with non to little response from the sales person and the sales manager never called me back. They lack in providing customer service in every way possible. I was a repeat customer. But they have lost my business and my family's business. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. Very deceiving and very unprofessional non the less. Learn how to treat your customers and dont lie to them when they put trust in you.

My first new car purchase at this dealership was pleasant so I returned, big mistake. Not only did I get deceived into overpaying for my new vehicle, they would not return my car keys to me from the trade in evaluation so to keep me from leaving. I have no doubt that Tom & Frank feel good about all the money they made of off me that day but is it really worth it to have a bitter customer sharing their negative feedback with potential new car buyers. Don't worry guy's the GM customer feedback survey was a pleasure for me to fill out ! Great way to treat a repeat customer.

After having horrible experiences with purchasing vehicles in the past I was skeptical about entering another car dealership and being forced to sit for hours and wait for someone to assist me or run my financials. This is not at all what I experienced when I went to Lucas Dodge. I went there on a Saturday to look for a vehicle and was met by, Mike Bruce, who listened to what I wanted and then made a suggestion on the Dodge Dart Rallye. We went on a test drive and I explained that I did like the vehicle but gave him the specifics of what I wanted in my vehicle. Unfortunately, because I was "picky" (my words not theirs) they did not have the exact vehicle I wanted on their lot. Mike and the dealership were very accommodating to my requests and were able to locate the specific car that I wanted in Reading, PA. My car was picked up and I was driving it off the lot before the end of Monday's business day. I would recommend my friends and family go to Lucas Dodge and purchase their next vehicles. Definitely a great experience and I am a very happy customer at this point.

Good people to work with but poor quality parts from GM yet agian. GM needs to resolved this issue. I have (2) GM products and have purchase Buicks and Chevy's for all my past cars. This has been a issue with cars parts since my 2008 Buick and our Chevy and I know it is not the service Techs! Please address these parts issues with rotors and brake pads. These are the items on both cars now.

Very friendly and patient. I looked at a lot of different cars back and forth and never got the feeling they were loosing patience or rushing me. Was able to negotiate a fair price fairly quickly and they gave me good quality for my trade. Have not used their service department yet, but they prepped and cleaned the car well.
