This is the first car I've ever purchased completely on my own, and if you've ever purchased a car, you know how stressful it can be! My husband and I had were pretty sure we wanted the Sorento Limited V6 but I had not driven one nor did I know that much about them. I went without my husband to all 3 of the local Kia Dealerships as he had decided that was the car he wanted after driving one on a business trip. If I was happy then it would be a done deal as far as the car. The dealership would then have to earn our business. After going to all 3 local dealerships I had the best experience and found the best salesman at Lupient Kia, Andrew Bursh. If you want to have a great experience when buying a new car you need to go see Andrew and learn everything you need to know while enjoying the experience!

The service guy was very polite and kind. Vadim saw me and made a point to say hello. I chatted with the admin when my car was ready, she knew the last time I was there was to change the code on my car when my purse was stolen. It seemed like you care about maintaining a relationship since my new car purchase and I appreciate that. I also like that I was not told there would be survey to fill out and pressured to give you a good score. I noticed the sign on the admin's desk had been taken down about making sure your customers give you a good score. I expected I would probably receive a survey - as most companies send one these days. I like that you have improved this process. I am also looking forward to your remodel as well for an improved waiting area.

Have had the WORST experience with Kia and with this dealership. DO NOT GO HERE. My transmission failed on a two year old car with no warning. They towed it in, took over a week to get the part and then told me they were too busy to install until the following week. Absolutely no concern about getting my car done because "they have appointments for regularly scheduled maintenance to take care of first." So perhaps someday I'll get my car back but who knows at this point. Also I tried to give them no stars but this site makes you select one star at a minimum. They don't deserve any stars at all.

My 2013 Kia Soul lease was up. Went in not fully decided on what to. My inclination was to buy the 2013. Brian Paulson, the sales rep, and I spoke and after several options were discussed he suggested I actually take a new Soul out for a test drive. Once I had driven a couple miles, I could tell the new car had a much softer ride, better seats and a center arm rest plus a few other improvements. So we went back to his desk and discussed various next steps. I went with a new lease. The dealer was able to get all paper work handled in short order and I drove off with a new Kia. Walking in, late to my appointment, I was still greeted with a smile. I'm sure it's annoying waiting on costumers but I didn't see any annoyance from Andrew. It may have helped that I brought coffee but who knows for sure! He sat me down and talked with me about what I wanted and, I'm sure, realized pretty quickly that I had no idea what I was doing. This was my first BIG car purchase and I had no clue what would go into it. I had always had help from my parents in the past and I was nervous about doing it on my own. Needless to say, I WAS FREAKING OUT! Once we were outside looking at just about every white Optima, which was the only thing I KNEW I wanted from the beginning, Andrew answered all of my dumb questions and patiently waited as I hemed and hawed over my decision. Making this big of a purchase was making me very nervous but Andrew definitely helped me stay calm. He even drove when I didn't quite feel comfortable yet. I also appreciated not being forced into anything. I am a very simple girl and what is considered "basic" to others is "special" to me. Andrew showed me a car with all the bells and whistles but I didn't feel like I needed any of that in the end. To me, it's more stuff to break and with my luck it would all break on me within the first month. If you don't believe me, I already have a dent in my car and I've had it for 2 weeks. ONLY 2 WEEKS! I'm lucky enough to have Andrew help me with that little problem though too. He's making sure I am happy with my "new" car no matter what! In the end I'm very happy with my Optima and with my experience. I would recommend Andrew and Kia Brooklyn Park to anyone I know.

Sales associate Rocco was extremely friendly and not too pushy. I cam in to view a Ford Escape, but quickly decided against it. Rocco listened to what I wanted in a vehicle and pivoted to something within my range that had everything I wanted. His manager, Chad was also very nice in explaining the thought process on how much my trade was worth and what the value of the vehicle I bought (a Volvo) was. I did not feel pressured to buy, I felt I bought the vehicle I wanted.

My husband and I had looked at both new and used Kia Souls and would up on a 2016. On the used car lot we had the pleasure of working with Robert and I really liked him. On the new lot Vadim was so kind and knowledgeable without being your typical car salesman. He wasn't pushy at all and let us take our time with the big decision. The dealership was nice, clean and comfortable. I especially appreciated Vadim taking his time after the paperwork to sit down in the car with us and show me what each button did. I really felt that was above and beyond. My only criticism would be the man in financing we signed the paperwork with Kurt. I felt that he was abrupt, pushy, and in a hurry.

After purchasing a car at Lupient that had a lot of scratched in the interior, Andrew B followed up the purchase by seeing to it that a more thorough detailing of the car be done. lowered the price of the car (because of the condition of the interior) to the point that I made the deal. After I purchased the car, the salesman, Andrew B, offered to have a more thorough detailing be done. He even took time on his day off to see that it was done to his satisfaction and even delivered the car to me! Who does that??? Andrew went above and beyond what was expected to make my Lupient experience a great one.

Brian was great to work with! Fortunately there was a Kia with a sunroof and AWD which is exactly the 2 features I was looking for. The only problem we had was not with him it was with the man who detailed our car. There were hand prints still inside the car and wax spots outside everywhere so we had to send it back across the street to get cleaned again. It took about another 45 minutes for the car to be done. Brian and a few other salesmen were out there doing there best to get it clean. Overall Kia Brooklyn Park has been great! Thank you and love my new vehicle!

Contacted about a car that just got posted. Was told it hasn't been cleaned but has been inspected. They said I can come see it. They will clean it before I get there. Drove 30 min to get handed from one sales man to another sales man, just to see a car that was not inspected and was filled with trash. Seat was broken, not adjustable, so couldn't drive it. Was told the mechanics will fix seat and do full inspection and then the sales rep will call me back next business day. Didn't hear back until 2nd business day. Sales rep left me a message that it was sold as is without inspection or repair to someone else. Can't believe all of the run around they gave me, and can't believe they will sell a car in that condition.

I was overwhelmed , by the professionalism and knowledge that Seth displayed, it was a joy to have such a personable sales person, and I was lucky enough to of been his first sale on his first day! Everything went very smoothly, but what we most enjoyed was his/there attention to EVERY detail was an experience in itself! Brian Paulson made sure we understood all of the cars bells & whistles so to speak, and Joe Cobb (Mr. Flashy) as i jokingly refer to him ! Was smooth as can be! I would of gotten 2 vehicles if I could of afforded it! That's just how pleasant the entire experience was! and I have not stopped telling people about it as well, so Kudo's to Kia for having this winning team, and when we came to pick the vehicle up it seemed that every staff member was there to witness our reaction to seeing the vehicle for the first time, as we had to wait a day to pick it up. Every single person outside of the awesome 3 above made it a joy to do business at this location.......Thank u Seth! You Rock!

We leased a Optima from Lupient Kia recently I was disappointed in the way the paperwork and financing was taken care. We were given misleading information on the final numbers from the salesman with the financing. We were rushed when meeting with the finance guy and he gave us short answers and we felt like we couldn't ask questions because there was people waiting behind us. Long story short this is the 2nd time we have used Lupient Kia and I did not leave there this last time feeling like I got what I was told from the salesman. I do love my Optima and and the salesman was great on our test drive, but I do not think I am confident from my last experience to recommend them to anyone else or that I will be returning for our next car purchase or lease.

I was very satisfied with my 10 year old car until it was totalled by a red light runner. Suddenly thrust into the car buying market I was happy for it to be over after working with Lupient Kia. I did quite a bit of research on the safety, features, options and financing available in the market. After having test drove almost 10 vehicles and getting quotes from multiple dealers (which was no small feat), once we meet with Andrew our mind was made up. His no pressure approach was exactly what I needed to make up my mind. He even stayed late that evening to provide us with the numbers we needed to make our decision. He was able to provide us with a great deal and a Kia Soul I am very happy with.

Vadim Lemeshevskiy made our car buying very simple. He is very knowledgeable and can communicate his knowledge succinctly. He did not use high pressure tactics or try to scare us into making an on the spot decision but encouraged us to test drive other vehicles we were consideringThe second visit to complete the deal ended up taking a couple hours because everything wasn't ready to go. We did feel pressure to buy the extended warranty. It raised concerns that perhaps we will see electronics failure down the road and face very high repair bills if we don't. Our future purchase of Kia will be on future performance and reliability.

I purchased a new 2015 Kia Optima in July of 2015. The car itself is pretty amazing. The issue I have is with the front end and the service department. By the time I had 1700 miles on the car, the front tires were showing quite a bit of wear. I brought it in and was told I am driving too aggressively, there is nothing wrong with the car. At 3300 miles, the tires were now so worn they were illegal to drive on. Again, I brought it in to Lupient KIA and they told me there was nothing wrong with the car, that it is my fault. The so called inspection for the front end issue consisted of checking the alignment. There was no road test or anything else done to see why the front end pulls to the left, even when in alignment, or why the steering wheel feels like it is resisting the driver from driving the car. I then brought it to another dealer and 3 independent shops. No one can find anything to cause the excessive wear, but they refused to say it was my fault. All of them said there is a problem, they just can't find it. I went to a tire shop to purchase new tires, since Lupient KIA would do nothing for me, but fill out a tire form, and they were completely dumbfounded at a business that would blame the customer first. They too believe that there is an issue with the car, not the driver. The next issue I had was the front pads wore out in 4700 miles. When I brought it in to have it inspected, Lupient again blamed me instead of truly looking for a problem with the car. This so called inspection consisted of the mechanic taking the tires off the car and looking at the pads while still on the car. They did not take anything off and check any of the individual parts for an issue. They then wanted almost $400 to replace the front pads and turn the rotors. I did them myself. I will never buy another car from this dealer and will probably never buy another Kia due to the lack of customer service, failure to accept responsibility for a car that obviously has an issue, and the apparent policy of blaming the customer when the mechanics don't have the training to diagnose a problem.

I recently gave assistance to my sister in helping her to purchase her first car and I found Lupient Kia to be incredibly helpful. Not only were all the various associates at each rung friendly, but they were also patient in helping her to not only decide on which car would be best suited for her needs but they also work with great vigor and effort to help secure her the financing she needed all the while staying within our quoted price range. The only thing I really docked them for was how long they had us sitting around (I think when all was said and done we were at the dealership for 2.5 hours or so) but I'm willing to attribute this to negotiations as well as them being busy with other customers.

Only planned on buying a pillow 02-13-2016...but Julie encouraged me to take a drive. Alex Eddy sold me the car, more than the car selling itself, although I got a beautiful vehichle for a great price. Had been to only 1 dealer, and drove 1 car at Maplewood Lexus who would not drop their overpriced vehichle 1 penny. Plus they only said negative things about my car...that's a deal-breaker for me. My suv was very well taken care of and Lupient rewarded me fot that on the trade in. Lupient financial was quick and absolutely no pressure when I changed my mind on the extended warranty. Alex Eddy made me feel comfortable and didn't pressure me or bring in the big guns to bop me upside the head.

I worked with Aminah to find a new car. I had gone in there with two in mind of what I wanted but when I told her my must haves and wants she recommended the Soul right away and said she had the perfect car. I was on a mission so really be thurough and rule things out so she had a lot of patience and showed me the other cars first and at the end said "let me show you this one" told me about it and she was right. Had EVERYTHING I wanted and was perfect. Plus was able to stay in budget. I got a great deal, everything I wanted and am super happy with my Kia! The Soul is surprisingly roomy, handled great in the snow, easy it get my large dog into and when I'm ready to start a family it has awesome safety rating. I highly recommend working with Aminah and checking out the Soul!

I like no hassle shopping. There was never a "no" from him, more of a "here are your options," and "here's what we can do". Collision Center is terrible, told my daughter she could've drove car from accident site after being rear ended in rush hour traffic on 494 by the airport with exhaust pipe pushed up under car under plastic bumper and car would be okay to drive, and then stated come get it because the can't work on it till Nov 11th. SHAME ON YOU! Immediately called my insurance and had it towed to different place and asked their opinion on drivability and they said could have caused more damage and melt bumper and or catch on fire! After having it removed from your establishment they called and left a message saying no one else would be able to get part before then, really hmm the new place we had it towed to started working on it on Mon. and will be done by the 6th. Their is an official complaint with my insurance not to use them (we won't) and I tried to call the owner manager Jesse Bishop and left a message so far no response. On positive note a big thank you for the two gentlemen at the used dealership the night of the 28th for going out of your way and getting the car rental to stay open and giving her a ride after finding collision center closed by the time she got there with tow truck at 5pm. Awesome job and thank you from a Mom!!!

This salesman lied right from the start. I found out when I went to go sign the paper work. First, he told me the car was certified. Come to find out, it wasn't. Second, He quoted me a 12% rate and come to find out, it was a 19 % rate. That is a big jump. He told me he was just guesstimating. That was a lie. He knew what my rate was going to be from the start and just lied to get me to buy the car. DO NOT GO HERE! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!

As a retired member of the military, I belong to USAA which provides a number of benefits which include a car buying service and financing. Using the site provided by USAA, they directed me online to Lupient Kia for the type of car I wanted. We were very particular about the type and color of new car we wanted. But Andrew Bursh of Lupient Kia went out of his way to search and find the car we desired. They worked with USAA to setup all the financing and when we came to pickup the car, we were given a red carpet treatment. They told us about all the other types of additional features we could add to the vehicle in detail along with other warranties. But, at know time did we feel pressured into buying anything additional. They gave us a tour of the facility. They were very thorough with going over all the features of the car and how to operate and use them. Weeks later they followed up with us to guarantee our satisfaction of the car. I was in a pickle. The car I had previously owned had some issues and I was told I had a major repair cost ahead, so i decided to purchase new. I went on a two day mission to find a new SUV--stopping at KIA in Brooklyn Park First. My fiance and I bought a vehicle there on July 30th 2015 and they did an absolute job on getting us a car and very happy with it so far but it came with almost to expire tabs and my mother has emailed the owner numerous of times on how he was going to handle the situation and have been Ignored the majority of them and would like to know what he was going to do about it and I was told they don't deal with that ok seriously BS.... For one you give the person a 60 day sticker or you buy the tabs for your customers you say that you don't deal with expired tabs.

This is my 3rd vehicle purchased from Lupient. My first two vehicles were bought from them when they were Lupient Saturn of Brooklyn Park. Now they are Lupient Kia as Saturn is no longer made. My salesman was Nathan Mabin and I can say he is a excellent person to deal with. I brought 3 cars to trade in that day. Of course there was a lot of wiggle room on the trade values and we hammered out a deal that was satisfying for both party's. When it came down to pricing on my new 2015 Sportage, he told me about all the current Kia offers and it brought the price down to what I felt was a good deal. We had gone over two models (EX & LX) that I had interest in and although he could have sold me a more expensive model of the Sportage, we both agreed that I would be more happy spending less on a LX model with a couple of nice packages. I was also looking for options that I wanted and one of them, the auto dimming rear view mirror, needed to be a dealer installed option and the others I could do myself at home. It was a wonderful new car buying experience and I surely will be back when it is time to upgrade to another new Kia.

I just purchased a Kia Optima EX from Aminah at Lupient Kia. She welcomed me as soon as I was in the door and listened to why I was there. I told her that I was going to by a Hyundai Sonata 2.0T, but my son had just seen a "really cool looking" Kia Optima. So, before heading to Hyundai, I swung by Lupient Kia and told myself I would look and tell them what I needed, maybe test drive a vehicle, then leave and head over to Hyundai. Well, Aminah and Perry both shattered that thought, as they worked with me in a professional manner to make sure that they were meeting my needs to the fullest. They made several offers to me and I told them that I would need to talk with my wife, she would need to see the car and that the offer was fair, but didn't blow me out of the water with what Hyundai was offering. Well...they talked with Joe and made one more offer to me and as I told Perry, he was making me sweat!!! It was an offer that, for the car I was considering, was better than anything that Hyundai was offering at the time. I had my wife and oldest son come and look at the car...and the rest is history. After that, the rest of the experience was smooth sailing.Thanks for not allowing me to walk and NOT adding undue pressure to the situation. They stayed real late, went extra miles to accommodate us and gave my daughter, a first time buyer, a fantastic experience and great deal.I was in town for a couple of days and took my college graduate daughter out looking at Subaru's at various dealers and car lots. Throughout the day we interacted with all manner of car people and cars but none of the places or vehicles were meeting our expectations. It was getting late and we thought we'd give a few last places a call before giving up for the day. Even though it was about 5 minutes from closing time when we called and we were at least 20 minutes away, Jamie at Lupient Kia invited us to come to the showroom, he'd promised to prep a car he thought would fit your needs and was waiting for us at the gate when we arrived. Everything went extremely smoothly from test drive, discussing features, promotions, discounts and included services and answering our questions. The car was in great shape, well represented in it's advertisement literature and we quickly and pleasantly moved to a great buy price which was at least 10% lower than comparable year/use/models we had surveyed earlier. By this time it was at least 1.5 hours past formal business hours and both Jamie as well as the Joshua the business manager stayed to prep all the paper work, walk-through first time buyer financing options, secured financing, prepped the car to drive away, gave my daughter a comprehensive intro to maintenance and service details and lots of good intel that first time car owners really benefit from. Overall, terrific experience, the guys were super pleasant, knowledgably, helpful and patient throughout the evening and my daughter drove away excited, very happy and feeling confident in having a good, honest car dealer relationship started.Ali's Dad

I arrived at the Kia dealership only thinking I was going to view cars with my sister... however, I ended up purchasing a car too! Cody, greeted us and listened to what my sister wanted in a vehicle. We didn't feel pressured at all and having looked at Kia Soul's prior I pretty much knew what I wanted. I think the best part was not feeling like I was being talked into something. I love my Kia Soul! Since this was my first time buying a car there's a whole lot to think about, but, I felt my questions were being answered as we went along. We also worked with Jason Bentley who helped with the additional features my sister wanted with her car. And then I worked with Kurt Wry in Finance which was very well organized. One thing about Cody is he had everything ready when we came back to finalize the sale. And Cody kept in contact with any changes if they occurred. We showed up to shop around the area and see what value we could find, but we were fairly certain that we were going to be going with another dealership after shopping around. That all changed after making a trip to Kia. First, we found a vehicle comparable, perhaps even more stylish, than what we had been contemplating at Ford. Second, the service provided by Brian was top notch and courteous. Thirdly, we were able to work out a deal that was too good to pass up. Brian was kind and was available from home when we needed to speak with him. I would definitely recommend him as well as Kia again.

I had a great experience! I went in on a Saturday, just to look! Brian Paulson met us in the parking lot with a smile and a welcome. After some looking around I decided to test drive a couple that I liked.I settled on the 2015 Forte. Told Brian I just wanted him to run the numbers and see where I was. Everything turned out good and I had made my decision. Brian was there to answer all my questions and really put me at ease! I felt no hard selling at all from him! I was his number one priority that day! There was a small blemish that the KIA people noticed regarding the paint on the passenger side. Brian said that this needed to be taken care of right away. Got the car in on Monday and it was returned perfect on Tuesday. Whenever I called Brian, he called me back within 15 minutes, even on his day off. Brian smiled a lot and I liked him very much! Will always call him if I need anything he kept saying call him anytime you need us, which was quite reassuring! He was extremely friendly and very, very polite! A+ for Brian and the whole crew at Lupient KIA! A very, very pleased customer!

Lamont was great. We never felt pressured to buy a car. He listened to us and advocated for us. The manager in the used car building was great too. He knew exactly which car to suggest based on what Lamont told him. Even though it was slightly out of our budget, he said he would make it fit our budget. That's why we stuck around for financing. However, when we got to the finance manager, there was a complete shift of behavior. He was going to make us sign the car title before even telling us if the final payment was what we had agreed on with the manager earlier. When I asked, he got rude, and of course, it was way over our budget. The rest of the conversation was very unpleasant. We were ready to walk out, so that's why he reluctantly finally worked around our budget. I would work with and recommend Lamont any day, but the director of finance would make me think twice about recommending Lupient Kia.

Chaltu Wakjira is a wonderful sales representative. She was very helpful and nice, what almost made us walk out the door and not purchase the car was when we met Kurt Wry. He was pushy about selling the extended warranty and when we declined he threatened us about how the new car we were trying to buy was going to fall apart. He then stated it would cost us thousands of dollars to fix with out purchasing from him stating " any car can be a lemon" when we declined again he continued to tell us how stupid we were and we must have a "lucky horseshoe in are back pocket". Kurt proceeded to tell us how even the high quality Jaguar he owns needs a extended warranty so the car we are buying definitely does. This is the first new car we have ever purchased and it was a horrible experience when it should have been fun and exciting.

Really bummed that we are having troubles with our 2013 Kia Optima already. We purchased it as certified pre-owned about a two months ago with 25,000 miles, and we were hearing a loud noise so we brought it in and the oil was practically empty. If we didn't have it checked out our engine could have blown. Ever since, our vehicle misfires when we press on the gas pedal. We were conned into purchasing an extended warranty and I'm convinced that they sold us the extended warranty because the vehicle runs like crap and they knew it.or sales guy was so nice when we called about the issues, he said that we could bring it in to attempt to sell it back to the dealership, but I know we will lose our down payment. First time and last time buying a Kia.

I had a great experience with almost every other person I dealt with at this Kia until I had to speak with the finance manager David Jones. He immediately made me feel like he did not really want me to purchase a car from here. When I told him what type of car I was looking for, he immediately snapped back at me and basically told me I only have one car for you to look at and if you don't like it get out. Very bad customer service, got into an argument with someone I brought with me to check out cars while other customers were around observing, and had an attitude the entire visit.

From the time I stepped on the lot until I picked up my Sorento, Travis M. was the nicest and accommodating salesperson I have met.. I was very specific on what I needed, since I have physical limitations. The Sorento had what I was looking for, with the power liftgate, and when Travis showed me the steering options to make the steering easier, I was sold. But then I got in a car accident, and couldn't come in for a month and was still undecided on some accessories, we communicated back and forth and Travis was making sure all of my questions were answered through emails. A lot of emails! Always polite and NOT pushy (which I hate in a salesperson.) He got me into exactly what I wanted, and made sure it was perfect, just like I asked for. The other sales people are very nice too, always smiling.The dealership is clean, nice waiting area, and everyone that works there is so friendly. All I can say is if you are looking for a new vehicle, check this KIA out, but make sure to ask for Travis Magnuson. He will take care of you!!

After a day of searching for my mother's first car purchase of her own we ended up at Lupient and thank goodness we did. Perry Smulders is "The Man"! Very friendly, very honest, great sense of humor, and a true pleasure to do business with. I love the fact that they don't pressure wash under the hood and they don't try to cover up any faults with the vehicles. I've been a mechanic on the side for twenty plus years and when I see an engine that's been washed and Armour All'd I get very nervous wondering what they are hiding. Not these guys! You know exactly what you're getting. Joshua Engelby handled our paperwork and was great to deal with as well. Overall their prices were more than fair, we were very happy with the Equinox we purchased, and I don't think you'll find a more pleasant, honest, and fun group to purchase a vehicle from. I'll be buying more vehicles in the future and I will go to Lupient Kia in Brooklyn Park first. Thanks guys for making my mothers first vehicle buying experience a great one and for making my dealership experience the best I've ever had!

This was not my first time at lupient, so my experience was what I have come to expect. Friendly and courteous. Always! My first KIA was a used vehicle from another dealership. It had some minor things wrong. Nothing mechanical, just worn floor mats and broken cup holder. but, being it was a new car to me, I wanted to replace these things. And get an oil change done. I am a strong believer in having repairs done at the dealer with manufacturer parts. So my first KIA experience was with the service technicians. (This may have been before lupient took over this particular dealership. ) but the technician is still there. Embarrassingly enough.. I can not recall his name at the moment. But that first meeting, first experience was so refreshing it is absolutely without a doubt, the biggest contributor to my being a loyal and returning customer today. Kudos to your service department. Love those guys! I know I can count on them to get it done right and done fast. Fair and honest. .

Paul was great, understanding, knowledgeable, and not pushy. He helped us find what we wanted and then some. Kia was very busy that day, but he stayed with us and even made sure we were fed. That's customer service. Josh was extremely knowledgable about the products, warranties and how to find the best deal. He eased any anxieties we had about used car ownership and was another personable guy. He worked hard to get us a low interest rate and get the best price for our money. Overall, great experiences with everyone there. I'd recommend them any day.

We bought a used car for our teenagers and Jamie Smulders did a great job helping us find the right car. We were so impressed that we went back and traded in our mini van and worked with both Jason Bentley and Jamie Smulders. Both were very courteous and helpful. They are very good at their jobs!! I called the dealership from work and talked to Perry on the phone. He was super helpful and checked out my request to see if there was a way a could get into a lease in my price range. He called me right back and invited me in to meet with him and his wife. My husband and I went in after work. She deals in new cars and he works in used so Aminah worked with us on getting a lease on a new Sportage. Perry entertained while we waited for financing and Aminah helped us with our paperwork. I left with a brand new car not 4 hours after my first call. A very upbeat fun experience. Sold on Kia and the Smulders are my new car sales team!

I called ahead to let them know we were coming, I talked with Justin and was ready when we arrived. he was very curtious and friendly and asked us what we were looking for and if we were going to use a trade in. while they were appraising our car we were out test driving what Doris wanted.we came back and agreed on the finances and before we new it Justin was explaining all the features on the car and how they worked. Chaltu called me earlier in the week to suggest I bring my 2010 Kia Soul in to be traded for a newer model year. When I arrived for my appointment, I threw her a bit of a curve ball by asking if I could upgrade, but she was incredibly kind and accommodating. She very quickly identified a car that I loved and walked me through the process. I did have to wait quite a while for financing, but my partner and I were made much more comfortable during the wait by Chaltu's friendly conversation and thorough explanation of the car's features. I generally loathe car dealerships and the process of purchasing cars because it can often feel high pressure and stressful, but Chaltu's overall approach put me at ease. As we drove home, I commented to my partner that the next time I buy a car, I hope to work with Chaltu or someone with her people skills. Her demeanor is really what car sales should be. In fact, I really didn't need a new car and would never have made this purchase if I hadn't felt at ease with the salesperson. Also, my partner and I just returned from a road trip, and the car is fantastic. I'm very grateful.

I have a deep mistrust of car repair places. I am a 22 year old girl and drove a 98 Buick Regal from ages 17 to 21. This car was a lemon. At one point, in order to start it I had to bypass the solenoid cylinder by jumping it from underneath the car. Every corporate repair place I went into would take one look at me and think Christmas. I am not an expert on cars but I do know more than the average person. I was always told things needed fixing when they didn't and the cost for labor was absurd. Luckily, I have a father who knows his cars and he would take care of the situation for me and talk down the labor charges, determine what actually needed fixing, and whether the part could be taken from a scraped car. I bought an '08 Kia Sportage about a year and a half ago. I chose a car that could have an extended warranty purchased with it. I knew I would not be able to afford to fix another car like the Buick (repair after repair). For the first time in my 8 years of driving I don't think I have ever walked away from a dealership happy with the service. I realize the situation may have been drastically different had the extended warranty not been covering everything. However, everyone was incredibly friendly. I was not told to fix anything that did not need fixing. The gentleman who helped me(I think his name was Dan) worked to get everything covered under the warranty, even though part of the repairs necessary were found after they started work on the initial repairs. I can truly say I walked away with a wonderful experience.

I purchased my kia optima from Josh on April 25th. I come from a sales background myself, and am currently in a sales position in my company. With that being said, I had pretty high expectations. The first time I walked in to the dealership, I was greeted promptly, and handed right to josh. It was less than an hour before closing so I could tell some of the employees wanted to get out of there. Although, I'm sure josh wanted to, josh never made it seem that way. He helped me, let me test drive, and thoroughly answered all of my questions. Josh didn't know the answer to all of my questions, but didn't hesitate to go ask. That was huge for me because the last thing I wanted was incorrect info. After I left that day I reached out to josh on multiple occasions through text and stopped in a to ask a few more questions. He was there on his day off! There was at no point through the whole process that I could critique him. I was very pleased at his non pressure/always there for you sales technique. Since the purchase, I have been very happy with the car and won't hesitate to reach out to josh with any more questions. There are many dealerships that will sell you a car, josh sold me an experience. Thanks again. I have and will continue to recommend josh in the future.

Online we saw a Prius we wanted to check out, and before leaving, called to make sure that particular car was still available. The person on the phone said, yep, it is and ask for (his name). Upon arriving at the dealership, we asked for the name of the person we had talked to on the phone. We were told that person did not work there, but the car was on the lot. We were given another salesman, that seemed really... salesmanish. Anyway, took the car for a test drive. Salesman had horrible breath that made it unpleasant, but anyway. He answered a personal call during the drive and after and proceeded to get into a conversation about his ex-wife owing him money. I steered to conversation back to the car and after a period of some silence, he brings up the ex-wife situation again. Awkward.... We ended up deciding to pursue other dealerships.

He took the time to explain all of the features and made us feel comfortable driving something that we weren't used to. The customer service aspect of it was OUTSTANDING. Two negatives I have are, first, they gave me the wrong car that they wrote up the paperwork for. Second, they didn't offer me anything to me for having to switch cars (i.e free oil changes/longer warranty/splash guards would have even given this dealer a PERFECT score. Due to that one in a hundred mistake I cannot give a great score since they again offered ZERO compensation. Again Josh made me feel extremely comfortable with a great car, it;s just his managers decision to not offer anything, I'm SURE Josh would've given me the splash guards plus some type of free car service! I'd DEFINITELY recommend!!!

I initially purchased a 2013 Kia Optima. I was not totally satisfied with my purchase and the team allowed me to return the vehicle, and instead I purchased a brand new 2014. I thought it would be a big deal to go through all of the paper work of cancelling a transaction and then purchasing the new one, but Chaltu and Jeff had me in and out within a couple of hours. From the moment I entered the dealership, I felt welcomed. Justin helped me get started on the car buying process right away. I thought I was pretty set in what I could afford and what I wanted and he made sure to show me that option. When I mentioned I was enjoying the rental, a Kia Soul but didn't think I could afford it, he offered to look into whether I could work something out. He spent time going over a least 5 different options for me that included both my original idea and the Kia Soul. At no time did I feel pressured or overwhelmed by the numbers. I had never bought a vehicle from a dealership before, only from personal sellers. I was in a time crunch so I wanted to buy from a dealership so I could get more information quickly. I called initially about one vehicle and they actually pointed me to a better vehicle at the same price. I went to see the vehicle and it was in great shape so I bought it that day. They were willing to work with me on the price to get it where I was comfortable. On top of that, one of the benefits I wanted buying from a dealer was disclosure, I thought they would be able to tell me about any known issues. When I left I realized that the windshield wiper fluid wasn't spraying. Even though I bought the vehicle as is, the used car sales manager Chad was willing to help me out. Service like this is what keeps me coming back to a business for years!

I was in the market for a new car and I had test driven 19 different cars from 8 different dealerships. By far my experience at Lupient Kia & specifically with Josh Branham was the best. Josh took his time showing me all the different special features of my new Optima as well as giving me a brief history of the car company & specifics of the car's engine that made it different from others. Josh was patient & never pushy as often car sales staff can come across. He made me feel as if I was the only customer within the very busy dealership. I ended up purchasing the car on a Wed. evening & because they were back logged in the financing office it got pretty late. Josh kept checking on me as I waited & stayed past the posted closing time of the dealership & made sure I understood the basics of the car & synced up my phone to get me home that night. This high degree of professionalism & customer service impressed me beyond words. He made a point to have me come in the next day since it was getting late & I was getting tired, to go through all the many extra features of the new car so I understood how everything worked & was comfortable using it. In past car purchases, I've felt as if after I signed on the dotted line I was on my own. Josh & team made it clear this would never be the case & that they were here to help whenever, he even walked me through the dealership showing me where things were when I would come in for service. His high degree of customer service, attention to detail & friendly personality made the experience the best I've had & I would recommend working with him to all my friends & family. Everyone I've dealt with at the dealership has been great, they take that extra step to make sure you're comfortable & that you understand all aspects of the sale & car. Honestly the degree of attention to detail & customer service is what you would come to expect from a high level luxury car brand. I called and left a message, emailed and never had a reply to either, so I called the dealership and asked for service and they said they were very busy. I said I needed a headlight and a few other items checks. They said that I could schedule something next week. I said I would need a loaner and was told no loaner to use. so I said I needed a least the head light fixed, and I would come in May to do that or check with my client which has loaners and see if they can fix the items that needed to be fixes. He said he would squeeze me in with the headlight if I came right away. which I did.

I hated car dealerships. They were always so pushy or took forever, etc. Until I walked in to Lupient Kia.Respect and Honesty. Two words you rarely hear these days when discussing a car dealership. These are the best words to describe Lupient Kia. I went in, not expecting to get a vehicle, just looking. I needed a vehicle that I could use for Search and Rescue (off-road capabilities), but also for daily driving (fuel efficient). So I was looking at SUV's. We were greeted right away by Andrew at the door. Andrew listened closely to our needs and had some recommendations. The first vehicle I drove was a 2011 Sorento. It had the perfect dimensions to carry all my SAR gear, and was good on gas mileage as well. It had the V6 and AWD that I needed to get into the back woods if needed as well.Had some fun with the test drive (Andrew is gonna laugh if he reads this). Leaving the parking lot on a snowy day, I tested the impact resistance of the vehicle against a curb... on purpose so I told my significant other.Anyways after the test drive I fell in love with the vehicle. Had everything I needed and more. Next it was on to Nathan. Believe me when I tell you this was the greatest experience with any financial department of any dealership I have ever had. He was very fast and got us the deal we needed. Paperwork was max 10 minutes and we were out the door in our new ride!Working with Andrew, Nathan, and Jesse has been the best car dealership experience I have ever had. They don't BS you around or try to sell out of your range. They TRULY listen to you. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for any type of vehicle. They have an excellent selection of all types of vehicles and will treat you like family. Stop being jerked around by other dealerships. Go to Lupient Kia and ask for Andrew... now!Side note: A few days after the sale Andrew sent us a picture of the large gouge in the snowbank where I tested the curb, with a personal note. That's what I mean by treating you like family!

They did have a 2003 Chevy Astro Van which I was Very interested in but within a day, the car was bought up. I do believe they would probably have something in the near future. My husband and my son and friends liked the vehicle. Not as big as my car for them, but they were happy to have a ride home and to wrestling practice and back home. Our 2011 KIA Soul was totaled in an accident on December 5, 2013. We were broadsided by someone going 45 mph. There was the driver and a front passenger in our car. The Soul was hit on the passenger side. Fortunately the front passenger side and seat air bags deployed ensuring no serious inguries. Our Insurance agent was surprised that the passenger walked away from accident. Because of that incident, we bought ourselves another Soul, a 2014 on December 14 and are very happy with it. The handling is great in this MN Winter weather. And the car is very comfortable. We were very pleased with the service at Lupient KIA and were treated well by all whom we dealt with and talked to.

The gentlemen that worked in the service department were wonderful. Shane even caught that we had $100 gift card that needed to be used up! The 4 star rating is based almost entirely on the fact that the service deparment is great.

I went to look for a car, Roy spent all day with me, found the perfect car for me and my soon to be little one. He was very patient with me, which is good because I am a very particular person. Once I found the Kia perfect for me he made everything easy to fill out, Jay was very helpful at getting me the monthly payment I was comfortable with and Nathan was very clear on what I was signing. They were all smiles, even staying an hour after closing to help me get the right monthly payment (not to mention free oil changes) :) Roy came in on his day off, as well, due to me needing to think about the decision for a night, he even put on my plates, carried out the cargo mat I purchased and put it in the back of my new SUV. Even though it was a couple weeks after my initial purchase, all three of the men said hi and asked me how everything was going (it might have helped that I was and am extremely pregnant) but still, it turned out to be an excellent experience that in the beginning I was dreading!

When I arrived at the dealership, I was surprised that no sales associate greeted me on the sales lot. When I entered the dealership, there were several sales staff available, but only Marlene, who was just hanging up the phone, greeted me and asked to help. I told her what I was shopping for (new Kia Optima with extensive features), and though she mentioned that she had customers arriving within an hour to pick up a new vehicle, she assured me she had time and immediately took me out and showed me what was available. As she got to know my "needs", she suggested an Optima Hybrid (which wasn't the original plan), but it had all of the features I was looking for. We test drove it and I was surprised to learn how the battery works seamlessly with the gas engine, how comfortable the ride is and how great the gas mileage is! Yes, I purchased the car and I love it! Marlene has assisted all along the way and gone out of her way to deal with little things that have come up. I would recommend Marlene to anyone interested in purchasing a vehicle.

My wife and I found her to be very comfortable to work with and would recommend her to anyone looking for a new or used car. I can be somewhat demanding in what I am looking for and Mindy handled anything I through at her professionally and I believe realistically honest in that not everything carried a yes answer. Trust me on the fact that she earned every bit of her commission on our purchase of the 2011 Sorento EX. I also had very good experiences with Chad, the used car manager, and Kurt in the finance department. Kurt secured a better deal than I had already gotten approved by another lender. We will have to see how the service and follow up are after the sale but for now my wife and I are very happy with our purchase. e, I am now looking at the possible purchase of a new Optima based on the above. I stopped at Kia of Brooklyn Park as the first on my list of dealers to look at the Rio. I neverwent any further. I drove the Soul before I drove the Rio and I loved the Soul, which until I droveit, I would never have considered. Andrew is a gem. I hate buying cars and this was so very easyand I love my car!!!! I think it loves me! My sister loves my car too, so I think she will be calling Andrewsoon to get her own. Much thanks to Andrew for making this such a pleasant experience. I can't wait for my first oil change so I can stop in and say hello.

I purchased a pre-owned 2005 Nissan Titan. I had the vehicle for all of 2 hours, and I tried to start it, and it did not start at all. The issue was that the Fuel Pump needed replacing, something that caused a great deal of frustration. I have owned the vehicle for a week now, and have been able to drive it for a total of about 20 minutes. I understand that it is being fixed (for free) and will come with a full tank of gas, just a bit frustrating. On the flip side, Mike Sullivan has been nothing but gracious and has been a great advocate for me.

My experience at Kia of Brooklyn Park was just wonderful. I was interested in the Kia Cadenza. My salesperson, Andrew Bursh, was very friendly, knowledgeable and pleasant, extremely low pressure--he let the car sell itself. All the sales people I spoke with were very courteous and friendly. The showroom was spotlessly clean, and the service garage was clean and tidy as well. A thunderstorm came through while I was waiting for my turn to see the finance person and sign the sales paperwork--the electricity went out. It was still out at closing time, so the sales manager offered me tickets to the play "War Horse" playing downtown Minneapolis at the Orpheum Theatre. (fabulous play! it was the original cast from the Broadway production). I would highly recommend this dealership if you are looking for a new Kia. Clean, very friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful car-buying experience!

Recently had an oil change on Kia Sorento at this dealership. I noticed there was a small leak on my oil filter prior to this visit, which I think was due to a faulty oil filter, so I was looking forward to having it replaced on this oil change. I was under the vehicle prior to this oil change and cleaned off the filter when inspecting the leak. So I identified some key markings on the filter housing, and some discoloration where the oil leak running down the side stained the paint. Well after they did the oil change, I brought the vehicle home to inspect for leaks. Guess what, the same oil leak was there and the filter was not new, it had the same markings and paint staining. Beware of this dealership, this is the second time we have suspected something was not legit about there services, and this time I can prove it. So to fix the leak I ended going and buying my own filter and replacing it. Will not go back to this dealership and plan on letting everyone know about my experience.

I purchased a vehicle here 3 months ago from out of state. When I arrived it had body damage that I was not informed of. On the drive home the car had very loud wind noise coming from a bad windshield replacement. Come to find out now, the car also has a bad piston. Now I need a new motor in a car I just purchased!!
