I don't normally write reviews, however, instead of complaining when something goes wrong, I figured why not compliment someone when things go right. That's my experience with the gentlemen at Lux Motors in Buffalo Grove. I went to them with with an unfortunate situation, when my Porsche 911 engine blew up. After contacting them, they sent a flat bed tow truck out to my house and took the car back to their dealership. I spent some time with Earl and Daniel, discussed my options and they searched for the perfect car to replace my 911. I received e-mails updating me with status of their search results, and once they found the car they believed fit my expectations, they had me in for an inspection and a test drive. Within days I was driving away with a beautiful BMW 650i Convertible, and the process couldn't have been smoother. It's a very impressive alternative to the larger dealership experience, and one that I hope to use again in the future.

I had narrowed down my Jeep selection to a handful of dealerships. Lux had the best value in terms of condition of the Jeep and their price. They were easy to work with - no pressure, great with the kids and the whole buying process was relatively quick.

I contacted Lux cars about a car for sale with some questions. The sales answered as many as he could. He sent the other questions to the general manger and he got back to me with answers. One of my questions was about the vehicle being in an accident. They had true frame come out and evaluate that car. It had the bumper cap replaced and know structural damage. I choose not to purchase the car because its triple black and I live in florida.

It was the best buying experience ,I test drove few cars ,I found a really nice 2008 Mercedes-Benz S550 4MATIC with very low miles. I didn't even have to negotiate too much ,the price was very close to my target price and they gave me a very reasonable price for my trade. I thought I would kill the whole Saturday at the dealership as usual. We would like to thank Val Kats for making our purchase of our new car an awesome experience. We've discovered Lux Cars Chicago online and called for additional information. After speaking with our knowledgeable salesman Val, we started the application process immediately. Within 48 hours of applying for the car loan we received a phone call from Val asking when would we like to pick up our car. My wife and I made plans to arrive in Chicago where we were greeted at the airport by a staff member of the Lux Chicago Team. We were taken back to the dealership upon arrival and our car was displayed as soon as we got there. We immediately went for a test drive in which we were very satisfied and we started signing our loan documents. The process was very quick and professional. As we left the Chicago area, we felt very elated to do business with this high-class company. We were also excited to drive away in our dream car--BMW 550i! Way to go Lux Car Chicago!

My first experience at Bob Ruth Ford in Dillsburg was absolutely great and I would recommend it to anyone. Dave Galaspy listened to every word I said and didn't try to push anything on me that I had no interest in. On the road tests of my new 2012 Dodge Journey, he sat back and let me drive where and how I drive as I got the feel for the vehicle. When I asked to take it up Bowmansdale Hill to see how it handled on steep inclines, his response was "Let's Do it." Keith Palmer, the Sales Manager, apparaised my trade in and was completely honest with me about it. It surprised me that he apparaised it with a few hundred dollars more that I figured I could get for it. He knew what my old car meant to me and didn't speak bad of it in any way...even though it had it's problems. Thanks guys! I already passed your business cards out around work!

It was great experience, I am from Michigan, bought 2009 infiniti FX35 and it was %100 as described on the add. Alex (the salesman) made my life easy during that weekend, he was so flexible and cooperative and helped me a lot during my stay in Chicago. Adrian the financial manager was so organized and had all the paperwork done so fast. Carina as well shows very professional attitude in dealing with transferring the title from state to state. long story short, I had pleasure doing business with Lux Cars Chicago, and I do recommend them for friends.

I had a very pleasant experience with Lux Cars! I had been looking for a red 2011 BMW 3-series convertible with oyster/black interior for about 3 months and found it on their website. I live in Texas and communicated back and forth with Val for over a week. He was wonderful! I asked him a slew of questions about the condition of the car and he always gave me very detailed responses. He sent me multiple pictures and videos of the car and was upfront about any imperfections. I flew into Chicago to view the car before purchase and it was everything Val represented it to be! The entire staff was very accommodating and helpful, which made the entire process seamless! I also really appreciated Earl going out to his way to make sure Val was taking care of all of my needs and inquiring if there was anything they could do to make my experience better. Thank you Val and Earl for making my long distant purchase such a pleasant experience!

The Experience at Hertz was a breeze ever since I walked through the door. Scott was great!!! He made sure that everything was taken care of for me. I ran into some hiccups the day I was originally suppose to get the car but Scott made sure my car was waiting for me when I got back. The transition from my Toyota to Nissan was absolutely awesome. Great friendly staff. Very knowledgeable sales people. Awesome selection of used luxury cars. The buying process was very pleasant. We came with entire family to take a look at several used cars. Alex and Val were very accommodating with our kids, they made our buying experience a very pleasant one. We purchased a car, trade our old one in (the value of our trade-in was a little better then we expected) this was not the first place we went either. We were in and out in less then hour and a half. All of the negotiations went smooth and very professional. Special thanks to Leon and Adrian, Leon for making us a great deal on the car we fell in love with and Adrian, for getting us a very low interest financing and affordable payments. The Mercedes ML 320 was as described on the internet. My trade was valued unseen over the internet at a fair price. Robert Paquette was very helpful in negotiating the sale .The rest of the staff was very helpful including the owner in answering all the questions . I would buy from them again. After researching the vehicles on the internet to find the vehicle and pricing for the one I wanted to purchase I found one through Car Gurus. The dealership was Larry H Miller Chrysler Jeep Avondale, AZ located at 10055 W. Papago Freeway, Avondale, AZ 85323. I conversed via mobile with Jonathan Conley and he said he would have the vehicle outside his front door with the keys on his desk. I drove 160 miles from my home. The place was comfortable without sharks hanging about pestering anyone but there if you needed them. Jonathan was exceptionally good by being there when I arrived, showing me the vehicle, and throughout the buying process. This was the best buying experience I have had at a dealership. I got what I wanted in a non-stressful environment thanks to Jonathan Conley. Highly recommend.

When I walked into Lux Cars Chicago, I walked in feeling like a helpless car shopper. By the time I walked out of there I felt like I was part of their family. We had Chase as a salesman but that's not what he felt like. Chase was very friendly and personal he made the transaction as seamless as possible. The dealership had the car I was looking for and was hassle free. Like I said before the experience was wonderful. Sales person I dealt with -- Chase.. This is a great dealer to buy from if youre looking to purchase a vehicle in the nw suburbs. From the first phone call I made to driving away in my new truck, Lux Cars made it easy. Chase is the salesman who I dealt with and he is great. Very laid back and easy going, not pushy at all. I was able to take my time, go on personal test drives and was not rushed at all. This place specializes in higher end pre-owned cars and trucks, but there prices are better then most dealerships. I went there to look at a Land Rover and ended up buying it. Even though im sure they deal with higher price tag customers, I was still treated with respect and felt appreciated for giving them my business. They even took a trade I had to get rid of which Im sure theyre not going to even sell there, and gave me around what I was hoping to get for it so im really happy with that. The new truck is amazing beautiful in and out -- all the cars I saw there were awesome. There were a couple minor things wrong with it but they fixed them no questions asked for free after I bought the car.. They have a full service dept. And the finance aspect of my purchase was smooth and easy as well. My oldest daughter turns 16 in june and I will definitely be coming back here to get her new car.. Definitely recommend checking out Lux Cars in Buffalo Grove if youre in the market for a new car..

I found the car I was interested in on the internet. They have a great web page. When I contacted them, My salesman (Chase) was extremely helpful. He went to great lengths to get me the information I requested. They are very competitive on their pricing. Once we reached a tentative deal, I flew to Chicago to look the car over. Was looking for a BMW for a long time, luckily i stumbled upon these guys. The staff was so helpful in directing me to the car of my dreams. When i left i felt like i was a car expert, they made the process so smooth and easy after testing all the cars i was in and out in under an hour. They got me a loan and my plates on the spot so i didn't have to do anything, besides the fact that they had the best price. This was by far my the best experience in purchasing a car in a long time!! When I arrived to the dealership the car was sitting in front ready for me to test drive. Val, my salesperson, was super nice and very professional and I never felt pressured into buying the car, even though I spent 3 hours trying to make my decision. The whole deal went very smoothly and I was driving my new BMW X5 shortly after signing the paperwork. M better half and I drove up from Indy to look at a vehicle I found at another dealership, we were very disappointed in that vehicle so I looked online and found Lux and even though we were hesitant we decided to run by and see if the vehicle they listed was as nice as they said. I bought a 2007 jeep wrangler 2 weeks ago. I was kind of iffy buying a jeep from a luxury car dealer, but I was impressed. Michael, the salesman there was very helpful. My jeep has 7000 dollars in upgrades, & Michael knew exactly what he was talking about. He answered all the questions I needed answered. He wasn't just trying to sell me a car, he gave valuable input. It's the first car I bought, they were very helpful with bringing the price down a bit, & with monthly rates, they helped out a lot as well. Great customer service, & very friendly people. I spoke with Julian on this purchase. Im from South Carolina Charleston area. I was searching for a nice camaro with an LS1 over 6 months. All the cars I have encounterd the cars were ran thru an abused with ? car faxes. I was just frustated and tired and wanted to give up on the peace of American Muscle Car History. Then I saw this car the car faxes were ready and available which put me at ease because of nothing to hide. I called and spoke with Julian and like most guys I had a laundry list of question on the car. Julian answered every last one and the ones he was not sure he found out for me quickly. Being that I just didnt have the time to go to the dealership in person I was worried. Julian sent me pics and video the works. We worked out a reasonable price and shipping cost on the car. My wife and I decided to call and negotiate about the price, to save couple hundreds for the flight. After I started talking about the price I was treated differently. I felt myself like I was cheap. I purchased a car (with warranty) for my wife as a Mother's Day gift from this place (5 year loan not cheap!!!!!) After driving the car, we felt something was not right so we took the car to another dealer (brand name of the car) for a diagnostic. The results showed the car needed $5,000 in repairs which is not covered by the so call "warranty" they sold me. Please note all of this happened within a week of buying the car. Now the dealer refuse to fix the car which they sold. They suggested that I take it to a "car shop" which may cost me cheaper to fix. They refuse to take responsibility for selling a car in need of serious repairs. I purchase the car under the assumption that it was in good condition. This whole experience with this dealership has been a nightmare. Just be careful and request a diagnostic from them before you buy anything here.

Purchased a car from this dealership in January. Staff was very professional and friendly. It seemed to be pretty busy on the Saturday I was there and all the sales people were busy with other customers. Regardless the manager came up to me and helped me out until a sales person was available. I ended up testing driving the BMW I saw online and within an hour I was driving away with it. All in all I had a terrific experience and would definitely go back!

First and foremost I would like to say that the dealership is beautiful. When you walk in. You get greeted with respect from a Receptionist. Then you get offered either Coffee, water, or Starbucks while you speak to the Associate, which they brew in the waiting area for the guests. The sales associates were all very kind and courteous of my time schedule I was on. I told the Sales associate what features I was looking for and I got to choose from many vehicle. I did a trade in from a Infiniti G35 to a Infiniti FX 35. Got a reasonable trade in value.I had my own finance company that I was working with but Lux Cars offered me a better rate and saved me some money in the long run. Love the car. Love the Price, Love the Customer Service. Would recommend this dealer to to all ! At the end of the sale I had a manager come out and introduced himself and also thanked me for my business.

I recently purchased a BMW from Chicago Lux Cars. I saw the car online and was wary about purchasing a car online as this was my first time purchasing a vehicle online. I decided to take my chances because the car was exactly what I wanted. Upon entering the dealership I was very impressed. There was a bright orange Lamborghini in the front of the showroom! All the staff looked really sharp and I was greeted almost immediately by a salesperson. We proceeded to test drive the car that I was interested in. The sales person seemed to know a great deal about the car and was able to answer all my questions. After completing the purchase the general manager Mark thanked me for the business .All in all this was a great experience. Now two weeks later I love driving my car and am extremely happy with my purchase. If any of my family or friends need a car I will definitely refer them to Lux and take advantage of their referral program Thanks Lux!

So here it goes, following my review of LUX on 01/28, I was contacted by the dealership management with various options to resolve service problem. At first I was surprised to hear back from LUX, but then realized that this company is really striving to provide great service to its clients. The issue was resolved. I realize problems happen from time to time, but I am glad that LUX was able to follow through and get things done right. Kudos LUX!

This review will cover my personal experience of the first visit to LUX dealership. Driving by the dealership, first thing that caught my eye was number of luxury cars on the lot. There were BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Hummer vehicles waiting to be sold. At first, my impression was dealer sells luxury cars, thus service department must be a top notch. My BMW needed a simple procedure done to connect an already pre-wired radar detector to the 12V power source in the fuse box. Pretty simple task to check an available slot in the fuse box, measure power output, and then connect to the fuse slot with already pre-installed add-a-fuse kit equipped with 2AMP fuse to protect radar. I explained the task to the service manager, and an hour later got my car back with the radar running. Two days later battery service light turned on the dashboard, and radar permanently shutoff. On the third day car would not start at all. BMW road side assistance towed the car to the local BMW dealer. Upon inspection, BMW mechanic informed me that radar was connected improperly, it caused a shortening of the electrical system. Turns out that LUX mechanics failed to connect radar using a proper fuse connection; they just stuck a piece of wire into the fuse box, threw out a safety fuse and improperly grounded connection. To make a long story short, BMW now threatens to void warranty on the car; also I am now liable for BMW towing and service charges, as outage caused by improper work that caused vehicle to break. Lesson learned. Think twice before taking your nice car to what seem to be a legitimate LUX dealer. I realize inconvenience and failure happen from time to time. My first, and now last, experience with LUX showed unprofessionalism of the service department, negligence that caused vehicle damage and financial loss. Hope this review helps for those who consider servicing their car at LUX.

Wonderful people and great service. We just (at the end of Dec. 2012) bought a BMW ActiveHybrid7 and couldn't be happier. Everybody, especially the owner took wonderful care of us and made the process pretty painless. They gave us a fair deal for our trade in and made the process of transferring plates and registration a one-stop shop. We will certainly be back the next time we are in the market for another BMW.

Buyer beware. Here are my issues:1.) Car had a bent wheel and rain sensor for intermittent wipers was malfunctioning. I didn't notice these until shortly after purchase. I was told everything checked out.2.) Only one key fob.3.) No owners manual. Because of this, amongst not having instructions on how to use the features of the vehicle, I cannot pair cell phone to the hands-free Bluetooth because I don't have the passkey. 4.) They tried to change agreed upon deal during financing and purchasing write-up. Upon pointing that out, the finance person was not very pleasant, or thankful for my business. Somewhat rude actually.

This dealership is all for customer service before you buy the car but once you buy the car they become a stanger. Brought in car for free oil change.. was questioned about the free old change... was treated rudely for the entire 90 minutes I was there. No car wash or anything. I will never bring back my car there for any service.

Very disappointed with service and promises by the salemans. Bought a used car that only had one key and missing sunshade clips. We were told we can come back in 2 days for the parts. Then we get a call that we actually have to go to the car dealer that is over an hour away to get the second set of keys. And since we'll be at the dealership, we should have gotten our sunshade clips too but Alec from Lux said it's too expensive and is forcing us to go back to them for it. Not only does this put an extra 200 miles on my newly puchased car, but it's 2 days of my personal time. But the problem now is that Lux Cars can't get our shade clips and is claiming that they are no longer produced. However, I just called my local car dealership and they have them in stock! Will NEVER go back to Lux Cars nor recommend them. WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!!!!!
