Started off at causeway and after many unhappy hours of car shopping we came to the conclusion of a huge headache and no car. Went the next day to manahawkin auto sales and as I very walked in I felt the connection and was treated and cared for right away with proper manners. James Schultz was the sales person that let me take my time and enjoy the car for a test drive, there was no pressure or felt of rushing. After the test drive we talked details and throughout the whole process we felt a strong connection to James that made us feel like he was one of us and not just another scavenger of a sales associate hungry for any sales. Throughout the whole process he listened to what we had to say and really worked his magic to make us and them happy on a agreeable price. James was very attentive when it came to what my payment required and he really did go above and beyond to make sure it was not a penny more and that i was satisfied with it. After that night we returned the next day to meet with the business manager Richard Matarrese who was also very polite, professional, and cared for us. He worked very hard to go above and beyond to get us the right price we wanted so we could come to a deal. During the process of paperwork it wasn't just a normal delearship paperwork sitting, with Richard we talked and really connected and got in touch with each other which really showed he cared and wanted us to be happy too with what we have like we were in a big old family. We related in many ways which made the paperwork and process so much easier and quicker, he was a very easy to talk to kind a guy not like at others where most of the businesss managers are robots only caring if they make a deal or not. To Richard and James it felt way more in that they went out of their way to make sure we were happy and to talk to us to make us feel comfortable with it too. They both listens to everything we had to say and really put it to work making this the best car shopping I have ever had. Overall the experience with James and Richard were both outstanding and very easy to where they were attentive to every thing I needed and were always willing to change something if I wasn't comfortable. Them both and the Manahawkin auto sales are overall a very trustworthy and very nice,considerate,caring dealership that had made me beyond happy with my car and will have my business with cars for many years to continue and with all my future car shopping.

After going to Lester GLenn and being handed back and forth from sales rep to sales rep for hours with nothing to come out of it but a very high interest rate and payment. i decieded to leave. very unhappy and fustrated i was done with the car shopping completely, i went home and got hit with realitly, i had to get a new car. i researched online used car dealers in my area and Manahawkin Auto Sales came up just so happened to have the car i wanted the chevy cruz so with $1500 in my pocket i rushed to them the very next day test drove the car and fell inlove. after about 1 hr i had the keys to my car by far the best and fastest car shooping ever. my payments are cheap exactly what i was looking for. Rich was friendly but not pushy, everything was done quickly. Left with a 2007 Hyundai Sonata in just about two hours. Easily the most painless car buying experience I've ever had!

I saw a Ford truck on their lot on Sunday. They were closed. I went to their website to find the vehicle, and sent a message. I was shocked to receive a call and return message that same day. I went into the dealership on Monday and drove home in my truck a few hours later. I have NEVER had such a pleasant car buying experience! They are a hardworking hometown business. I purchase my vehicle on-line after numerous searches. . Because it was an on-line search and I could not view the car (other than pictures) I relied heavily on their description and information. I had a ton of questions and they provided outstanding assistance in all areas. When I flew in from North Dakota I was met at the airport by Jerry, ON TIME!!! He was an excellent travel companion to the dealership. At the dealership I finally got to meet Rich and he had all papers ready. This is a professional dealership that has genuine concern for the customer. I whole heartedly recommend this great team, they excel at customer service.

They sold my Daughter a car, i noticed that the internet mileage and what was actually on the car and title were considerable different. They never informed us of the $700 loan placement fee. Then with lest then 3000 miles on the car the transmission went bad. They offered to help me get the car repaired using one of their associates business. they then sent the car out of town without my knowledge and then charged me $300 for towing the car (which i was told that i would not be charged for because they always have cars going up that way). then after i got the car back i noticed the what seemed to be an extremely high repair bill for rebuilding a part that i could of bought BRAND NEW from the Dealer for Less then the rebuild fee. so when i went over to question them on the invoice i was told by the owner Get the $%##% out and get the at%$^ off the property. As i walked to my car he continued to verbal assault me and tried to get me to hit him. He kept calling me a tough guy. LOL. as i got in my car I told him that have something he will never have and that integrity. He laughed and said he dosent need any he sells cars just fine without it. So the repair bill I got a copy of from the out sourced garage was $1300 to rebuild and install transmission part. The actual invoice i got from Manahawkin Auto Was $1827.27 nice markup for not doing a thing. get everything in writing or your in for lots of surprises. also if you get a extended warranty be advised that it only covers parts if they have to be replaced. so what the service department will do is order a rebuild kit for parts and then charge you the labor to rebuild it. because only replacement of part is covered not rebuilding of part. you also need to check the title and carfax. friend bought a car there and tried to trade it in somewhere else a year later only to find out that the car had been TOTALED in another state. Good Luck if you buy there. Im sure years ago when the Father owned and ran the place it may have been different, but its amazing what greed will do to a persons integrity and consonance. But as i was told by the owner himself they don't need it to sell cars. Sad way to do business car buyer be aware. Rip-Off Alert!!

Sales experience was quick, painless and enjoyable making buying a car a very positive experience.. Not what you usually experience when buying a car. Everyone was so friendly. I would definitely recommend this dealership to my friends and family. Both Mike and James were so great with me and i felt so comfortable. I have gone for service to many places with my vehicles over the many years I have owned a car and always left not sure if I could trust the place and trust that they did the work on my car. Manahawkin Auto Sales was extremely knowledgeable and honest in both departments. They did exactly what i wanted and what I needed and did it well. From the time I stepped foot in the door, I was greeted professionally by Mike B. He inquired about my wants and needs and showed me a GMC Arcadia. He had a very good knowledge about the vehicle and did not try to push the vehicle on me. I was by myself as I drove bythe dealership. and the SUV was for my wife. Worst experience ever, they sold me a smoking car and refused to do something about it. Customer service is so poor, they are all about your money after that they treat you like a piece of trash. Be warned!
