My 2013 Escape had its transmission blow. I had it towed to another Ford dealer that turned out to be extremely difficult to deal with. Rather than replace the i transmission, I was looking to buy a new Escape and needed to do it quickly. I found Maplecrest online and immediately was put in touch was Marla. She helped me find a couple models in stock that were what I was looking for. She sent me a credit app right away to help speed up the process. Then she arranged for me to meet with Mickey who was well aware of my situation when I came in. The finance manager explained the whole process and didn't waste my time playing games with pricing. He gave me the best price up front and worked with me to get me the best price quickly. Once we agreed on price, the paperwork and delivery process was quick and efficient. Mickey gave a great tutorial on the vehicle and all of its features and then I was on my way. Although Maplecrest is not the closest Ford dealer to where I live, I will be a very loyal customer hopefully for years to come.

I had a great experience at Maplecrest Ford in Mendham! I'm like most people- I HATE the haggling, games, etc that go on at most dealerships... I came across Maplecrest Ford here on Dealerrater. I have to be honest, even though they have excellent reviews, I still was very skeptical. I first dealt with Marla Keenan through the internet. She was very accommodating and helpful through the entire experience. When I arrived for a test drive, she introduced me to Micky Hendrick. He was very low-key and down-to-earth, not at all like some of the hyper salesmen I've dealt with at other places. He assured me several times that "We don't do that here" in reference to the typical games that go on at other places. Even though he's a nice guy, I still remained skeptical. I thought, "We'll see when it comes time for the final paperwork." Well, I'm happy to say that when that time did arrive, I dealt with David Cozza, who was also well-mannered and considerate. I had done my homework and knew what I wanted for my trade-in, what bonuses/ rebates were available, what APR, etc. I had a number in my head just what my monthly payment should be and I'm thrilled to report that they met my numbers without the usual back-and-forth arguing! It was an AWESOME experience! I'm so thankful to dealerrater.com for helping me find this place! I'm thankful to Marla, Micky and David for being so professional. This dealership is OUTSTANDING!!! Friendly sales staff, manager and business specialist.As always expected at a car dealership, there was the ever present after sales selling attempt at warranty and other protective/maintenance stuff. We didn't feel worked over and the reps understood, "no thank you" or "we'll pass on that."Vehicle storage lots definitely need some attention. Overgrown with weeds and vehicles were not organized by type or model.

My salesperson James Skuraton was pleasant, professional, answered all questions, offered drinks and really took an interest in my vehicle purchase. At no time was there any pressure, even when I told him I was going to think about it overnight. The sales manager Dave Cozza worked with me on the price, and trade in, and at no time did I feel pressure, that I had to buy that day. If your a Met fan you will think your dealing with Ron Darling as Dave has a strong resemblance to the Met pitcher. He even signed a baseball for me !!! LOL. When you are tired of the Highway pressure and dealer scams, visit this dealership, you will be glad you did.

It is such a rarity to fully enjoy the purchase of a new vehicle from start to finish anymore. I therefore felt the need to write a few lines about my experience at Maplecrest Ford of Mendham with Salesman Charles Countryman. Initially I decided to go with another dealership as the offer was identical however after reading some customer reviews I decided to proceed with Maplecrest Ford and I was not disappointed. From negotiating the deal at the very beginning Charles was up front, honest and to the point in terms of what is possible and how if at all it could be achieved. Charles made me feel at ease about the deal by being very responsive and attentive. At the very end Charles really proved to me that I could and should expect the highest level of customer service from a car dealer. My wife and I have owned a FORD SUV ever since our first child was born - 3 Explorers - 4 Expeditions. My last experience at another dealership, other than the service center, was a nightmare. Lies - upon lies - upon lies. I had a couple of meetings with Dave V, the GM of the Maplecrest Ford - and wanted to give him a chance. I am so glad I did - TRUST - that's what it came down to - and so far Maplecrest Ford and all the folks I have dealt with have been attentive, courteous and most importantly TRUSTWORTHY. I haven't had that feeling at a FORD dealership in a long time. The purchased vehicle has been wonderful - and if I call Maplecrest, they quickly see to my needs. My only regret - I didn't do the dealer switch sooner. Hopefully this is the beginning of a long relationship.

I bought a 2016 F150 from Maple Crest Ford at the beginning of April. The sales representative I dealt with was Charles Countryman, and I felt that he did a great job. He was knowledgeable about the vehicle and very easy to talk to. Dealing with Charles was a good experience and I felt that he, and the rest of the staff at Maple Cres Ford, did a great job of discussing price and financing in a way that was easy to understand and very respectful. Something that was very important to me was the fact that at no point did I feel pressured to make a decision. At each stage I felt that I was treated like a valued customer.

I recently returned from an expat assignment out of the country and had to purchase a car. For me buying a car rates the same as root canal. However, Frank at Mendham Ford new my trepidation (I told him) and he walked me through all the steps and explained exactly what the cost was and what he could do. Compared on all the websites I still apparently got an amazing deal. I would recommend Frank and his team should you want to buy a Ford anytime. When I started shopping for the Tahoe of my dreams, I had no idea I'd find it at a Ford dealership, but thankfully I did. Every email I sent requesting information was promptly and courteously responded to and any discrepancies were quickly remedied. Marla and Charles were excellent to deal with and I couldn't be happier with the entire vehicle buying process. I got a great truck, at the price I was expecting to pay, all the while being treated with respect and a genuine caring attitude you don't find at most dealerships. I've already had the truck to FL and back in less than a month of ownership, and I'm honestly considering making the 1.5hr drive north to have the service done in the very near future. And for a mechanic to actually consider letting someone else service their vehicle should give you an indication of the trust I quickly developed at Maplecrest Ford.

Charles had to work hard to earn my business and I know that I had a ended up with a great deal; but remember the ownership is on you as the customer to do your home work to know your pricing and what other dealers can also do.Charlie was also great - not the typical visit to the box to see the finance man. He took more than his share of work time to explain us all the functions of the car's operations and really provided excellent insights, as well as smooth processing of pricing and all paper work. Easiest car purchase I have made! Charlie, our finance manager was a great help as well, who is both well experienced but at the same time humorous and takes the time to hear you and give you the best options.The service warranties were all well explained with options to opt out if you feel you do not need it. No pressure to sign for things you do not want, and as mentioned before very family like treatment with the staff we interacted with. They really do help to save you significant purchase costs in the end. Rarely, do we see a dealership who has the best intentions for their customers. - this one is a rare gem. We know where our next future car purchase will be from, for sure.

I can not say enough about how easy an experience I had at this dealership. They made buying a car easier than a weekly food shopping trip! I usually dread the whole process, but I walked in mid afternoon with a car to trade in and I left with a new car within a few hours. I didn't have to stress or haggle at all! Maplecrest Ford in Mendham is amazing! After a horrible experience at a nearby Ford dealership, I was very close to giving up in my car search - but decided to give Maplecrest a try. I'm so happy that I did! My initial experience was over the phone/email with Marla, who sent me True Car certificates for several options of the model I wanted. Not only that, she had them printed and waiting for me at the dealership when I arrived. So helpful! I knew exactly what kind of models they had in their inventory and what price I would get before I even decided to go there.When I arrived at the dealership, I worked with Frank, who was clearly very knowledgeable, attentive, and helpful. He talked me through the entire process and gave me quotes for several different financing and leasing scenarios. He took the time to answer my questions and do things in an order that made me feel comfortable, not in the process that "is just how it's done" like I experienced at the other dealership. I came back the next day to sign the papers and pick up the car (the business manager came in early to accommodate my schedule!) Frank sat in the car with me for 20 minutes or so to show me how to work all of the features, set up my phone, settings, etc. and assured me that I could call him at any time with any questions. I did do some research on my own to ensure I was getting the best deal possible, and I assure you, I was. I ended up leasing a gorgeous, brand new, 2016 Ford Fusion that had all the right features and at the right price. I also got a great value for my trade-in. I believe that my fiance and I will be going to Maplecrest Ford for as long as we live in the area. I see no reason to go anywhere else!

I wanted to take the time out to personally thank Brian McHugh for everything he did for me. I honestly probably drove him nuts because I'm extremely picky as to what I want. He was very patient and very understanding. I went to my local dealer here on Staten Island but Brian had the very exact vehicle and color I was looking for. He made sure I got the very best deal and I'm so thankful for that. I decided I would take the a little more than a hour drive from my home. So glad I did. I happened to find this dealership by chance searching for a 2015 Explorer Sport. They had the vehicle in stock and basically worked out a deal over the phone. I was completely satisfied with their offer so I took the approximately 1 hour ride to the dealership. I was impressed with the look of the dealership...it looked like a quaint little bed and breakfast sort of with a nice inventory of vehicles out front. Everything was so clean, neat and organized inside and out. Even before I walked in I was immediately approached by Rich Colazzo and welcomed to the dealership. He showed me the truck I was interested in and since we've already done the negotiating over the phone we immediately sat down and Rich took me through a very through explanation of the features on the vehicle some of which I wasn't aware of. During that time I was also introduced to Marla Keenan who was very helpful to me over the internet service they provide and my thanks to her for all of her help relaying the information. I then sat down with Charlie in finance and he thoroughly explained what each form was so I knew what I was signing and during that time I was greeted by David who was the one I actually negotiated the deal with and the final price. The whole experience was amazing in that everything went so smoothly and quick. There was none of the usual stress, tension and aggravation that I've experienced at other dealerships in the past. I'd have to say, this was actually a pleasurable experience and Maplecrest of Mendham will definitely be my go to dealer for my next Ford vehicle.

We had a great experience buying from Maplecrest Ford of Mendham. The minute we walked into the dealership, Rich Colazzo stepped up and began to help us out. He found the car we were interested in and got us in for a test drive. Rich helped us out over the course of the next week, working out logistics of buying and organizing documents. In all of my conversations with Rich, I felt like I was dealing with an honest guy who had a genuine interest in making our buying experience great, rather than just a salesman trying to get me to buy the car. Rich is a highly capable salesman with a great sense of humor and affable demeanor. Dealing with Charlie, the finance man, was also straight forward and easy. Overall, our experience at Maplecrest was excellent. We got everything we were looking for and were very well taken care of. The car is also awesome.

I'm not an idiot and don't like being spoken to like one, especially in front of my college-age kids. Plus, I'm not convinced that certain aspects of financing were presented honestly. This was simply the easiest dealership experience ever. I've bought a lot of cars over the past 5 or 6 years. I'm typically the guy that others go to when they are looking to buy a car since I tend to be aggressive. I normally spend hours in the dealership. Not this time.. Marla Keenan was excellent to deal with over the phone and once I got to the dealership Brian McHugh finished up the deal. I spent maybe an hour total in the dealership. They were able to locate a car that I wanted without any hassle at all. No pressure whatsoever. I've been enjoying my Fiesta EcoBoost Hatch!

James is the nicest, most helpful, and knowledgeable dealer I have ever met.I have always been someone skeptical of used car dealerships and salespeople. I went to another Ford dealership several months ago and the whole process took almost 7-hours and took three-months to get me my permanent registration. I first contacted Marla who is about the nicest woman I ever met. She is sweet and easy to talk to. She immediately took $700 off the price (on top of a $400 discount I came in with). Before I even walked in the door I had $1100 off the price I originally saw it for.James let me test dive the car, and then had the brakes checked and resurfaced for me. He was quick with e-mail and phone calls, and wasn't pushy or sneaky. While I'll never know if I ACTUALLY got a good deal, I do feel like I was treated fairly by James. I negotiated slightly, but maybe not as much as I could've. All of the Edmunds and KBB (I don't find them reliable, but it's all I have) say I got it for a very good price. I'm not a very price sensitive shopper, and I don't intend on trying to negotiate until the dealer is unhappy with selling me the car. My ONE and ONLY minor complaint was my Finance manager, Charlie. Charlie seemed like he could be a nice guy, but maybe our personalities did not match. I was annoyed that he initially added a $200 VIN etching on my bill, and then tried to push me to keep it by telling me how it is less likely to get stolen. I teach psychology and know all about loss aversion. I also know enough about economics to see that is a bad investment (particularly since I don't live in areas frequented by car thieves). He also tried getting me into an Extended Warranty deal (which I said no, and also know it's a bad investment). He told me that "Everyone here gets an EW, and am I trying to say all these people made bad decisions?" No, but again, I understand his attempt at using conformity and groupthink to change my viewpoint. I understand this is also part of his job. Still, for all of that, Charlie still gets an "A-" in my book because he had me in and out of there in less than an hour. I came to the dealership expecting to spend over 5 hours in negotiations, and instead I spent no more than 1.5 hours, and most of that was James and I talking or him showing me the car's features. Seriously, this dealership is well worth a drive. I live an hour away, and I doubt I'll go anywhere else for a car!To sum up:Marla - AJames - A+Charlie - A-Sorry for grammatical errors, but I'm too tired to edit.

I was greeted at the door and assisted by salesperson , Micky ,assisted promptly. he retrieived the 2 vehicles I wanted to test drive and when I selected the vehicle I was interested in purchasing , he fully explained the features on the vehicle.We were pressed for time on pick up of the vehicle as we had 20 people to our home on the day of the pick up. Micky arranged to set an appointment when they opened. Both he and the closer were very pleasant to deal with. Micky also showed my wife the vehicle features and preloaded our cell phone info and the monitoring system on the vehicle and set our 1st service date. Visited 3 local Ford dealers and I was in a hurry and told each one that I needed to buy a truck that day. Being in business, I don't have a lot of time to sit and wait for a test drive, or wait on a long negotiation process going back and forth. My first contact was with Marla from Internet Sales, and she made sure the truck was ready for a test drive upon my arrival and greeted me quickly. I was lucky enough to then meet Micky, my salesman, who was knowledgeable, professional, courteous and made the entire experience fun, fast and pleasant. (which is just what I was looking for) The entire dealership staff was friendly and efficient. When we discussed price, Micky took me seriously and understood I had a time constraint and he was able to offer me a fair price in a timely manner. Again, I appreciated that. Upon delivery, the truck was cleaned and met my expectations. The finance and warranty paperwork process with Charlie Samons was also quick and efficient, and I was very comfortable with the staff. It was obvious that Maple Crest Ford processes' are seamless and their desire to offer a great buying experience for every customer was evident. James and Marla were both wonderful. Got a beautiful car and a great deal. They were able to search far, even out of state far, for my desired color. Other Ford dealerships were going to charge me an extra fee because the color I had wanted was not on their lot. I highly recommend James as a sales presentative as you search for your new Ford.

It was a pleasure working with Marla and James! Marla contacted me and provided me with a number of vehicle options. I was able to test drive a couple of different models on my own without anyone else accompanying me which I appreciated because it allowed me to focus on the driving experience itself. James did a thorough job of explaining the various features of the car, and when the first one I test drove wasn't an ideal fit, he helped me find one that was. The no pressure approach, the communication, and friendly nature of both of them helped make it a great experience, and I would recommend Maplecrest Ford to anybody else.

No pressure! I found a used Fusion on their website and made an appointment to drive the car. When I arrived I was handed the keys and told to drive it for as long as I wanted - by myself! The negotiations were easy and quick. Steve Cooper my sales rep was courteous and very thorough. I would recommend Maplecrest Ford to anyone.

No pressure with a touch of class! Not the usual "What can I do to make you buy the car now?" or the other classic, "The today price." Instead, helpful, patient and listens to customers. James is professional and wonderful to work with. He goes out of his way to insure customer satisfaction. Only dealership I have gone to where the manager doesn't join the salesperson with the classic intimidation tactics that make the salesperson appear helpless and the manager a xxxxxxx. I located this dealership through the My Ford site. They had the vehicle I was interested in and so the negotiation began. I was trading an 2011 F 350 which I felt was in excellent condition. We managed to come to an agreement within the same day and closed the deal in three days. I found the sales staff and manager to be very resonable and there attitudes characterized by "Cando" while maintaining a total professional demeanor. Their knowledge helped bring us to a mutually good financial deal on a great Ford F 350 SD. I am from out of their immediate area but would highly recommend Maplecrest Ford speifically Kurt Friedman and Micky Hendrick to friends, family and others.

I ordered the car in March,2014, it was delivered when promised, at the agreed upon price and without any hassle. Buying a car is probably one of my least favorite tasks, and I do it every three years. James and Maplecrest made it easy. James was friendly and professional during the entire process. He took the time to show me all of the options available on my Escape, and how they worked before the purchase and again upon delivery. Customer service was great. He explained all of the packages and when there was not a car on the lot that fit my needs, he went out of his way to find one that did. He did what he said he was going to do, and returned all of my calls promptly. Overall, a great experience.

We purchased a 2014 Escape from Maplecrest Ford a few weeks ago. We are very happy with the car and were very pleased with the entire purchasing process. We were offered a test drive and in a test vehicle with 5 minutes of arriving at the dealership. The pricing was straight forward and very competitive for both the purchase and the trade-in. The day we picked the car up all the paperwork was complete and well organized and we were in our new car in 20 minutes. Everyone we dealt with was customer-oriented and pleasant without applying undue pressure.

The Internet Sales Dept was very responsive and helped me get the exact car I wanted and I was able to negotiate a very good price. (Price was far better than NY prices.) I then worked with a sales associate and finance person over the phone/email to finalize the deal, so I just needed to go to the dealership to pick up the car and sign the paperwork. 2005 used Quigley E 350 van.... JAMES WAS GREAT !!!! That said, I made 4, 1 hour round trips from home while working this deal. One trip I used the vehicle for sale. I had two possible trades that I was offered well below wholesale price on. ( I had an offer from a wholesaler at home) I would have rather the dealer appraiser not waste my time and just told me they weren't interested in my trades. That would have saved me 2 trips. t delivery I had to buy my own spare key and I was sent down the road with less than 1/4 tank of fuel. Did I really work the deal so well they couldn't spare the few dollars for the key and at least enough fuel to get home? I know they made good money on me with the extended warranty and back end of the financing. Still the best the dealer did was tell me they cut keys there and directed me to the closest diesel station---that ended up being closed for repairs. James did offer to buy me fuel and the key, I declined on principal ( it wasn't his fault ) As a person who is a former car salesman (now a business owner), a son who sells cars now, and a friend that owns a dealership, I feel well versed in knowing customer satisfaction. JAMES did his BEST, he CARED. Maybe because I live an hour south the dealer didn't care so much.

This is my fourth lease of a new Explorer from Maplecrest. The entire staff of Maplecrest are credits to the auto industry and the nameplate. I have had experience with large dealerships and small ones. Maplecrest is a dependable local dealership with the personal touch so often missing in the larger stores. I had been dealing with the same sales consultant for almost ten years. After he retired Micky Hendrick stepped up to the plate and made sure that I will shop for cars at Maplecrest as long as I live in striking distance. The whole leasing experience was capped off with a swift, efficient, clear, and simple financial transaction handled with personality and grace by Matt Daspin. I went in looking to sell my car & maybe lease a new one. I had prices from other dealerships. I explained my bottom line. David, the GM did everything he could to give me more money for my car & a comparable deal on the new lease. He didn't pressure or fast talk me as some dealers do. I originally had plans to lease a new jeep but instead got a much better deal on a new Escape, that I love. I am so happy with my choice. As an aside, I'm a single woman that went there by myself & not once did I feel intimidated or taken advantage of. The guys there are all very professional & respectful...something you don't easily find these days. I would & have already recommended Maplecrest & the Ford Escape to many people.

James and the dealership did a fantastic job of putting me in the Vehicle I wanted. This was somewhat a difficult process for James since the Vehicle I wanted was not located in their fleet. James had to rreach out to find the exact vehicle I wanted in the right color with the right extras. There was also additional stress on James since I had already handed in my former leased vehicle and needed the car ASAP.This was my first time working with James and Maplecrest Ford and I would definately use them again and recommend James and Maplecreest Ford in the future.

I bought a 2010 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer from Maplecrest this past weekend. I found the truck on cars.com, used the chat feature to make initial contact with a sales rep (Brian McHugh) who gave me his email and phone numbers. After a few very friendly emails and phone conversations, I decided to make the trip to New Jersey from Alabama to buy the truck.Brian was extremely easy to work with, very friendly, and responsive to my inquiries. A couple of times I emailed him with questions, and rather than email me back, he picked up the phone and called me, which was really nice. Another sales rep, James Skuraton, helped out a couple times in facilitating communication, as well, so they obviously have a positive, collegial atmosphere. I tend to go over any major purchase with a fine-toothed comb, and Brian was patient and fast with answers. The only place that broke down a little was in my efforts to get the best price and coverage in my extended warranty, where I asked to have Matt Daspin call me again to discuss further some stuff he had already gone over with me, but he didn't. However, once I was in the dealership, Matt was really easy to work with as well, and gave me a really good deal on a Ford Premium Care warranty.Overall, I was very happy with the buying experience, but I do have two criticisms. These are, frankly, the only "negative" things that come to mind, and I mention them with the thought, "Other than these two things, this was a perfect experience."One, the inside of the truck was not as clean as it should have been when I arrived to buy the truck. The 3rd row seat had what looked to be a little bit of "dried leaf crumbles" (or something like that) in it, and on the floor in front of it; also, the rear cargo area carpeting and side panels were not thoroughly cleaned. Brian did return the car to the detailing crew to have the interior cleaned up more.Secondly, as I said above, I flew in to New Jersey from Alabama, something I mentioned very early in my dealings with Brian. I thought he (or someone from the dealer) would pick me up at the airport, but Brian initially suggested I take the train from Newark airport to Morristown, which would cost about $20, and the dealership would pick me up there, all of which seemed reasonable. Later, he told me that the train could take a couple of hours, and I might be better off taking a cab to the dealership for only about $45. As it turned out, the cab ride was over $80. Looking back, the dealer should have sent someone to pick me up at the airport. The cleaning issue is why I mentioned the "detailing crew" in the "Employees Worked With" section above, and why my rating for "Quality of Work" is only a 4 and not a 5. The cleaning issue and transportation from the airport situation led to my rating of "Customer Service" as a 4 and not a 5. I considered making Customer Service only "3 / OK", but a couple factors balanced those things out. One was Brian's attentiveness to my questions during the negotiation phase. Also, when I was at the dealership, he spent time helping me set up my phone with the vehicle Sync system, and showing me how to use the in-dash navigation system. Once I got back to Alabama, I emailed him when I realized I didn't have the keyless entry code, and he worked to get that information for me. I had some apprehension about going this far, and out of state, to buy a vehicle, but, overall, Maplecrest Ford - especially Brian and Matt - made the experience an excellent one. If I had the option, my "Overall Experience" rating would be 4.5 instead of 4.Bottom line: I got a great truck for a tremendous price, and a really good deal on an extended warranty, too. The people are extremely friendly and easy to deal with, and I would absolutely make this purchase again. Thanks so much to all at Maplecrest Ford!

I was very fast and easy experience at Maplecrest Ford. This was my 3rd car with them, and I continue to be reminded why I keep coming back. The people are just so nice and friendly, from phone conversation to in-person, the whole process was flawless. I knew exactly what I wanted and how much I wanted to pay before walking in and they delivered 100% plus some extras. The finance department was quick and simple, and made me clear on all my options and choices. I am very happy with my new lease and the entire experience!

I was very pleased with the experience with Maplecrest Ford. Specifically, I felt that the salesman was "pitch-perfect" in his approach and attitude - friendly, no pressure, and very easy to work with. Right from the start, he greeted me when I walked in and was helpful throughout the whole process. Having shopped around at other dealerships, this was definitely not always the case. I was offered a test drive right away, and I was also allowed to take the vehicle for a pre-purchase inspection to a mechanic of my choice, in the area. There was never any difficulty with any of these requests. The finance department worked hard to get the best rates possible for me as well. I am very happy with the pre-owned vehicle and with the entire experience!

I have to say I was underwhelmed with the service at many we went to, either feeling like they did not take me as a serious purchasing customer or they were trying to upsell ,me on models or features I was not interested in. Maplecrest was different. The customer service from Brian McHugh, my Sales Consultant was great. He was easy to work with, friendly and professional. From Sales to Service everyone was equally friendly and professional. They were thorough in explaining everything and prompt at responding to any questions or concerns I had during the purchase and after acquiring my new car. I would (and have) highly recommend Maplecrest and Brian if you are looking for a new or used car.

Both Charlie and Matthew were consummate professionals. The 2010 Ford Explorer we decided on for the trade-in of our 2009 Ford Flex is immaculate and a fair and mutually equitable deal was easily agreed upon between Charlie and us. It is not hard to see whay Charlie is an elite salesman for Ford. His knowledge and dedication to his profession creates an ideal buying environment. Matthew bhandles all the business affairs for Maplecrest and is also extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He guided me right through all the necessary documents and extended warranty options, getting me out of his office in around 20 minutes. There is a reason why this is our second car from Maplecrest - those who work there - and we have now committed to having all of our mainteance done there too as the dealers nearer us have not shown nearly the same dedication and concern as Maplecrest has consistenly done over the years. I talked with Adam before visiting the dealership and was pleased that he had researched the inventory to present previously owned vehicles that met most or all of my requirements. We spent the beginning of our meeting talking about each vehicle, and it was clear to me that he wanted to help me narrow my choice according to my criteria, not what he might have thought I needed. I went for a test drive in two vehicles. Adam pointed out aspects of each vehicle before the drive and listened to my observations when we returned. I made my choice and returned a few hours later to pick up my "new" Edge. I am afraid that my excitement about having a new car was overshadowed by my concern for mastering the electronics. Adam could have pointed out a few things and then directed me to the manual, but instead he patiently went through all of the options and gave me the chance to have a "hands on" trial. I certainly appreciate his patience, his knowledge, and his concern for meeting my transportation needs. When I decide I need another vehicle, Adam will be my first call.Matt- Matt patiently explained each financial option, waited for and then answered any questions directly and clearly, and generally prresented a case for each option but did not apply undue pressure.

This was the best car buying experience I ever had. I knew the car I wanted, walked in, got a good quote, and the next day I had the car. Total purchase time - 1.5 hours altogether. My primary goals were to buy a car quickly, get a fair price, and have no slick or pushy sales gimmicks. All of these expectations were exceeded. I have had bad experiences in the past when shopping for cars but this was as smooth and easy as it gets. I would most definitely purchase another car from this dealership and would highly recommend Maplecrest to anyone in the market for a new car.

I have been looking online for a used Yukon XL or a Chevy Suburban because my current 14 yr old 1999 Yukon served me well but at 209k miles it was starting to cost more n more to maintain. I depend on my truck for my contracting business. I saw this truck online, called and spoke to Mr Skuraton and decided to go see it, which was over an hour away from my home. I arrived at what appeared to be a small town car dealership and was greeted like one. Mr. Skuraton welcomed me and showed me the truck with enthusiasm and I was interested. To my surprise they let me take the truck for a test ride and agreed to let me take it to my regular mechanic and give it a thorough check. Everything being great, it was time to settle on a price and financing. With very little haggling we agreed on a price and I was directed to finance which Mr Daspin was extremely helpful with working out a payment with a warranty. Maplecrest Ford of Mendham is truly a small town dealership that makes you feel like u live there and know everyone in town. My son, Chris (age 20) and I visited the Maplecrest Ford dealer in Mendham, NJ to buy a car for my son. He had saved enough money to buy a car for cash, since he is still in college and did not have a credit rating yet. Chris did his research online and decided that Maplecrest had the best price on the car he wanted to buy (a previously owned 2002 Ford Focus). We found the sales and support staff to be extremely friendly and willing to work within my son's limited budget. This was my son's first car and I really wanted to help him build a credit rating but he had saved the money to purchase for cash, just in case. The Maplecrest sales and business management staff understood what we needed and worked with us to figure out how to get my son's name on the loan, even though he had no previous credit rating. This was absolutely fantastic and more than I ever expected!As we were leaving, the business manager (Matt) and sales rep (James)asked me what it would take to get me out of the Chevy Trailblazer that I drove in with. I told them that my vehicle had terrible terms (based on my bad credit rating) and that I had no plans to purchase another vehicle. The Maplecrest team asked what I meant and told me that they believed they could put me in a nicer vehicle for a lower monthly payment with better service terms. They really came through! I replaced my bare bones 2008 Chevy Trailblazer with a top of the line, fully loaded 2008 Ford Explorer for over $100 less per month! My son and I have new vehicles and we are extremely pleased with Maplecrest Ford!I am 53 years old and have purchased many new and used vehicles in my life. This was the number one (#1) car buying experience of my entire life. Second place is not even close. I initially went to Malouf Ford on Rt 1 to address an issue I was having with my Ford remote start unit. Malouf told me that the repairs would not be covered by any of the warranties I had on my vehicle (Remote start has life time warranty, Vehicle had extended service plan). Upon taking my vehicle to my original Maplecrest Ford dealership and talking with Don Duncan, it was determined that my repairs were in fact covered by the warranty. This saved me fully $130! Don was extremely helpful in getting my vehicle service done properly. In addition, Don helped me get my car in a quick manner after dealing with several lease-to-purchase issues. I was later contacted by David Vorcheimer the General Manager who offered a solution to my issue. Dave has been very supportive and expedited the process. I made an appointment to bring in my 2011 mustang gt in to have it checked because of a valvetrain rattle. I purchased my car out of state (PA) so I was looking for a reputable dealer to bring it to and based on the reviews on this site chose maplecrest of Mendham. I made the appointment Monday, and told the service writer over the phone the issue which he said I would have to leave it overnight. Brought the car in on Wednesday which was my scheduled appointment and the service writer who also said he was the manager said he couldn't work on the car if it was engine related since I didn't purchase it there. Now I took time off from work, and had my wife follow me through an hour drive with traffic for no reason. I explained this to him he was absolutely not hearing my complaint and simply did not care. That is not customer service! Unless you live in the area don't bother or waist your time with this dealer especially based on this site's ratings like I did. They won't service your car if you didn't purchase it from them which seems to be their own policy not Ford's. Thumbs down!

I had an excellent experience at this Ford Dealership and specifically with Salesperson Barbara Hanson. Barbara was very knowledgeable, professional, and did not pressure us in any way. I would strongly recommend working with Barbara and the rest of the team at Maplecrest. I've been to other Ford dealerships in the area and, in my opinion, they do not measure up to Maplecrest.

About a year has passed since we came in to buy a new Ford Fusion. The staff at Maplecrest Ford made the experience so easy! I told them what I wanted and they guided my decision and found the exact car I wanted. This place is extremely welcoming without the highway mentality that plagues many dealerships today. I felt like a part of the family not just another customer. The finance manager was able to show me the best products. I love the maintenance package! From the first time I contacted Maplecrest, they have been nothing but first class. When I first arrived they told me very simply, they are not a big, highway front dealership, you have to want to come to Maplecrest. From that simple statement, they have proved it was worth the trip. Each and every employee I met was professional and friendly. The vehicle I bought was clean and in better condition than I thought it would be. There was no pressure, or ansgt I had experienced at other dealerships in the past. Pricing was good, and fair. Justin followed up a few days after the sale. It was such a postive experience that if I were in the market for another car, new or used, I woudl shop again at maplecrest again.

Initially there was some salesman confusion on pricing and warranty terms, but once resolved I have nothing but praise. The car I purchased had some minor, but difficult to isolate annoying electrical problems, and an a/c problem came up, too. All of this got resolved to my complete satisfaction thanks to Sales Manager, Rodrigo Filipe. He was a pleasure to work with! Spencer in service, too. I cannot thank Charlie Samons and Maplecrest Ford enough! I wasn't prepared to buy a car and I explained all of that to Charlie over the phone. We talked and I was very-very wary over another car purchasing experience (which was just very unpleasant). Charlie promised me (even before we met), that he would make this a positive process and more importantly meet my budget needs. I had THE MOST POSITIVE experience that I have ever had at a car dealership and Charlie absolutely 100% followed through on his commitments! The entire staff that I met, including Rodrigo, were just great and friendly people. I am the proud owner of a 2012 Ford Focus, which is first and foremost, a reliable vehicle for me, it's an adorable car and my monthly payments are affordable.I did not sit in the dealership for hours and hours...I was in and out of there, with a brand new car in less than 2 hours!! I initially selected Maplecrest because, of the five Ford dealers I reached out to for quotes on the internet, they gave me the best price on the model and options that I wanted. Plus, they were the closest to my home and it has a "local" feel. My subsequent experience, principally with Barbara Hanson, was probably the best and simplest of any car purchase I've had (in over 40 years of driving). Barbara worked tirelessly to find the car I wanted without any of the options I did not need. She fully explained all of the features of the car, including the electronics, which are quite daunting (for me!). I got a decent price for my trade-in everyone in the showroom was friendly and made sure I was being helped. I have had the car for less than wa week but am extremely happy with it. I will strongly recommend Maplecrest (and Barbara) to anyone who asks.

A very pleasant experience from initial email queries, from the just looking first visit to the dealership, from the ordering process and to delivery. The sales rep answered all questions and went out of his way to learn about our vehicle that we ordered with a very infrequent configuration. He kept me apprised of the vehicle's production date and ETA for delivery. When the car was actually delivered, the dealership honored the trade-in value as promised 12 weeks earlier.Unlike our experience at other dealerships, the business manager did not attempt to sell us any unneeded extras. He merely fully explained the documents we had to sign and answered all our questions regarding extended warranties that we decided to purchase.A first class act all the way!

Everyone we dealt with has been extremely professional and knowledgable. You need to know that the reason we purchased the Explorer from your dealership is because of CHARLIE SAMONS. After test driving a Flex and Explorer at your dealership, we learned of a personal relationship at a competing dealership. This dealership was willing to sell us the same Explorer at a significantly reduced price as the owner of the dealership was a close friend of my father-in-law. Despite the opportunity to save significant $$, we decided to forego this and buy the car from Charlie. His honest, friendly, knowledgeable and flexible approach was excellent and completely exceeded our expecations. My experience with Maplecrest Ford was nothing but positive. I used this site to research who to contact at the dealership and I will say that Barbara did not disappoint. She was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and kind throughout the whole process of buying my new car (Fiesta). I had specific elements that I wanted my car to have while in a time crunch (needed a car in under 3 weeks before I started my new job), which made the process of finding the car more difficult due to my demands. But Barbara was always available if I had any questions, kept me updated on the process of finding the new car that fit my needs, and she worked very hard to make sure I got what I requested at a price that fit my budget. I couldn't actually believe that we were able to pull it off in time. That's just a credit to what a great place Maplecrest Ford is and what a fantastic employee Barbara is. Everyone else I had an encounter with at the dealership was very kind as well. I would highly, highly recommend this dealership and especially Barbara. My experience would've been a nightmare if I had gone anywhere else.

I had researched the 2012 Focus Online and had requested more info from a dealer located near me, which turned out to be Mapelcrest Ford. I connected easily through email and setup a time over the phone with Charlie. I was quite surprised when I got there and he had the model I was looking for already waiting for me to test drive. From that point on the level of comfort and expectations grew with this dealership far more than I have experienced with others in the past. highly rate this dealer. as for service, i haven't had any repairs and so i didn't rate that but i will when i am there with repairs their is an issue with sync that Ford is working on .the usb port lockes up and you either have tu disconnect the battery, remove fuse, or do a complete reset in the sync software.. hope this gets resolved soon very anoying to me

I had a fantastic experience from beginning to end> Barbara Hanson made finding and purchasing my new mustang a breeze. She walked me through everything I needed to know after I got my new car, and was incredibly helpful in finding a new convertible and standard Mustang for me. Another dealer told me they couldnt find a stick shift convertible in my price range. The entire staff at Mendham Ford was helpful and considerate, it was my first time buying a car without my husband and I felt well taken care of, satisfied and never pressured or taken advantage of. My first service was with Spencer, he saw to it that the car was taken in swiftly and I was able to get it back in time for work. I highly recommend this dealer and of course, Ford. I love my car.

Overall, my experience was great. The Ford Escape I leased met all expectations. Charlie Samons is one of the best sales associates I have ever dealt with. He was extremely knowledgeable on the vehicle and all its features. He took the time to walk me through the vehicle and physically show me how everything worked. The paper work was already prepared and organized making the delivery process quick and easy. At no time did any terms or conditions change and saw no "surprise fees". Besides Charlie's knowledge and professionalism, it was the little things that made me feel like a valued customer. On the day I picked up my new vehicle, it was parked directly in front of the dealer ship so that it was the first thing I saw when I pulled up.. All in all my Maplecrest Ford experience could not have been better.

At the time I purchased my new car from Maplecrest I had my 2 previous vehicles both for 11 years. Yes, that's 2 cars in 22 years! Needless to say, I grow very attached to my cars and keep them in good condition. Ultimately because I have NEVER enjoyed the car-buying experience. That changed with my most purchase from Maplecrest Ford. I met Charlie Samons and explained my general trepidation, told him what I was looking for, and what my needs were. I believe and, more importantly, felt like he understood. Charlie was thorough, thoughtful, friendly, and genuine. He has a comprehensive knowledge of all the Ford vehicles and helped me narrow my decision to the vehicle that was best suited for me. Thanks to Charlie, I bought a car that fit me and met my requirements, rather than the one he wanted to sell to me. I felt comfortable with my decision and never second-guessed my purchase. Gone was the cold, calculated, difficult, and frankly, phony sales interaction that I disliked. There were no hidden fees or costs. No unexpected add-ons. No switches in vehicles at the last minute. Charlie explained all of my options, didn't use industry jargon to confuse me, and let me know exactly what I could expect next throughout the process. He keeps in contact with me to find out how I am doing with my new Ford and how I like it. I tell Charlie the same thing all the time: I love it. My compliments go out wonderfully to Maplecrest Ford and their crew! The sales information provided and test drive of the vehicle was very professional. The 2003 Ford Explorer I purchased had been detailed and was flawless. I felt very comfortable in the dealership and the staff were friendly. The price could have gone down a bit more due to the high mileage of 124,000 on the vehicle. The Explorer had so many nice features I was willing to accept the final price. The sales person did work out a price that sealed the deal. I love the Explorer and will be going back to Maplecrest next time I'm looking to buy a car.

At delivery, he went over all aspects of the vehicle including the hands free option for my phone and all of the extra services available with the Ford Escape. Our sales person (Barabara Hanson) was extremely knowledgeable about inventory, what was available, and didn't hesitate to make suggestions based on what she thought might meet our current needs. These two were extremely accommodating and personable. We didn't feel like we were getting the typical salesperson hustle to make a quick sale. Even after we purchase the vehicle, Barbara was incredibly helpful in setting up the Sync voice activated system, explaining the features, and took time to make sure we felt comfortable in understanding it all. Currently, we are more then happy with the vehicle and can only hope we see the same treatment from the service department in the future.

This small dealership appears to do a good job. Only 10,000 miles on our 2-year old 2009 Ford, but have not had much reason to see them other than routine oil changes. Unlike the other writer, who had less service than they wanted, I am happy when dealers don't try to upsell me on service. Also, it is the owner's responsibility to ensure that they follow service recommendations and keep good records (which reminds me, I go no receipt for the last oil change because their computers were down). Happily, I have been in the waiting area while a service tech advised an elderly woman with a troubling intermittent electrical system problem to wait until it occurred more frequently. He could not be sure the recommended $800 repair would solve the problem (it wasn't happening while in the shop), and didn't want her to be dissatisfied. The tech's patience and clarity in explaining the problem and the owner's options were exemplary.

It doesn't cost $175 to switch plates.3. I have been giving them the benefit for years service would get better seeing I live close to the Mendham location. Unfortunately after two and one half years it got worse.Whenever I brought in the car for the 15,000 - 25,000 - 45,000 I was told everything was find and I didn't need any work. All work was just put onto my on-line Ford service page as "service maintenance". We took a filthy factory installed air filter out of the car after 42,000 miles and when I asked when it was changed prior there was no record and they just gave me a new one. There is no record of the transmission fluids and the radiator being taken care of during the first 50,000 miles. When I asked about this I was told These are automatically taken care of". Very vague paperwork detailing what was done to the car.When I asked why things needing to be fixed on my husbands car were brought up when my husband car was in for oil changes and I was never told of anything needing to be done - I was told mine was automatically taken care of without being told. The brakes were addressed after I asked to have them look at.Prior to traveling 3,000 miles with the car I had taken the car into Maplecrest for an oil change and tire rotation, telling them I was traveling alone - over 3000 miles and to make sure the car was trip ready. I was never told about uneven or worn tires, or the need for the wheel alignment.I had gotten a flat tire after I returned from my trip and took it to a tire center to get fix. All tires shown the wheel alignment was out of line and due to the uneven wear the alignment had to be out for quite awhile. With the amount of wheel and steering being off the wear on all four rotated tires would have not have happened in a short amount of time.I had called Maplecrest for a price quote on tires, I was told they would get me a price and call me back. No one called me back. A part was ordered for my car and was told the parts department would call me when it came in. Four days later I stopped by and was told part was in. Parts department didn't follow written instructions to call me.Maplecrest has also replaced original striping which was on the car when purchased. The hood had to be replaced due to a flaw on the underside of the front hood, so the stripe was put on the new hood and the back stripe was replaced by Maplecrest to match. Since the stripe was not put on properly and over the original stripe, I finally had them remove the stripes seeing the workmanship was flawed. I now have a stripe-free car and two straight cuts in the front and back of the car when the stripe was removed the second time. Maplecrest was the ones who striped the car two times and stated the stripes were there when I brought the car in. With the amount of things I have had with my car, I cannot believe I am the only one who has had shoddy service.

Took vehicle in twice for service. Both items should have been covered by Extended warranty. Had to call Ford Customer service as Dealer said it was not covered. Ford Customer Service took care of it. Took in again for the problem they were suppose to fix. It got better until 500 miles after and it is acting up again. looking at a new dealership for service (still under warranty)
