I bought a Chevy SSR here 5 years ago. The buying experience was low pressure and, I think, honest. I understand that any seller will present the merchandise in the best possible light. 2 minor issues were discovered after purchase. I didn't return to correct them but believe they would have fixed them (fixed 1 myself & live with the other ) I write this review now as I am again in the market for a car & came upon their website.

I had been looking around for a vehicle for my daughter and what a selection. I looked also financing a brand new vehicle, however when I ran the numbers based on brand new and going with a two year young vehicle with 3 + years of a warranty remaining it didn't make sense to look no further. The family owned dealership offered me financing and assured me that all registration and motor vehicle paperwork would be completed by them. Hassle free. I've heard many neighbors tell me they had bought and are very satisfied. I see plenty of the dealer name labels on vehicles driving all over the Tri-state so I decided it was my time to experience a good deal offer and also be one of those satisfied customers. If your looking for a fair deal with vehicle conditions of good to excellent. They you want to do business with the Marano Family Car Dealership in Garwood NJ.

Everything about this experience was great! I inquired on cars.com. I got an email back on Sunday (while the dealership was closed). Jim had conversation with me through email and discussed pricing on their day off. I made an appointment to look at the car and when I got there the car was pulled out ready for a test drive. After I took the Infiniti for a drive and when I returned Jim was waiting asking how I liked it. I loved the car and asked how much he would give me for a trade in. The trade in value was very fair and we agreed on a deal. I went inside and Jim had my loan approval which seemed only minutes long. Did I mention I live in NY? I had a far drive and Jim knew that. He asked if I was taking the car home tonight so I didn't have to come back. He had all my paperwork done, insurance switched, and temp plate on the car ready to drive home! His entire staff stayed late beyond their hours of operation to get me taken care of! On top of all this I made a joke that I just filled up my car with gas on my way down there and without hesitation his father pulled $30 in cash out of his pocket for the gas I had bought. GREAT PEOPLE! FRIENDLY SERVICE! Customer service? Second to none! Thank you Marano & Sons for the easiest purchase!

I had an excellent experence with Marano, they are very professional well stocked and all of their vehicles are in new car show room condition. I feel I paid a very fair price and was very comfortable throughout the buying experience. I would definitely use Marano again and readily recommend them to anyone looking for a late mode used car.

Open and honest, not pushy, willing to negotiate and don't dance around with million reason why you should pay their price like so many other dealers do these days. Never in a "take it or leave it" attitude. Carfax always handy and ready for me to review. Showed him competitive pricing from another dealer and they are willing to beat it. With all the negotiation I was in a out with the car I want at a price I want to pay within 1 hour.

Although Marano and Sons replied within 24hrs. of my request to see if a specific car was still available to buy - I only received a reply saying "it was sold and thank-you" via a blackberry. I was shocked that I was not offered a similar car or was told that they would keep me in mind - if I so choose. It is obvious, that they did not need my cash nor my business.

Contacted them via cars.com . I was promptly contacted by the dealer asking to set an appointment, however purchased vehicle from another dealer prior to visiting their establishment.

This place did not impress at first glance. Looks can be deceiving. Jim Marano was an absolute pleasure to deal with, it was obvious from the start that his desire was to make a deal that we both could feel good about. He did not pressure, he conversed. I was thrilled with the car I bought, the deal I got, and the followup provided. A pleasure all the way around.

The best car buying experience ever! After privately selling my own vehicle, I began car shopping for a replacement but was not 100% sure whether I would buy new or used. I started out researching new cars and test drove a few options. I soon decided that a used vehicle would fulfill my needs. I received two recommendations from friends telling me to check out Marano and Sons based on their affordable prices and the great variety of available vehicles. They did not disappoint. The salesman, Mike, was incredibly gracious and knowledgable. I was invited to test drive any car and was not rushed or pressured in any respect. After deciding on a vehicle, Mike and the service center employees went above and beyond to have all paperwork completed and the car available the same day. I was quite impressed.
