Stopped in to check out a truck, the staff was friendly as soon as you walked in the door. I met with Omid one of the salesmen, he was pretty cool and informative. I'd definitely go back to them for vehicle needs in the future.

I bought a car yesterday from these guys and they couldn't have made the experience any less easier. They allowed me to take the vehicle for an extended test drive and to take it to my mechanic to examine. I was treated fairly and genuinely and my experience, unlike to other reviewers, is that Marin Imports is focused on working together professionally and morally. Their eagerness to "delight the client" makes it simple to recommend Marin Imports.

Bought a 335I BMW from them and I decided to try to negotiate the price of the car. We ended with not lowering the price however, In return they would fix things with the engine that he & my husband ( who is a mechanic ) talked about for free. When my husband was fixing some things with my car & changing the oil he noticed they had broken a air duct going to the throttle body. Also, they didn’t tell us that the car had a recall & legally they have to tell you of any recalls on the car. Those issues caused them 2 stars.

We bought a vehicle there last year and was very happy with the service. The sales person, Omid, was very helpful in making sure the vehicle would suit our needs. he answered our questions and when he didn't know the answer he looked it up rather than guessing. The financing was done quickly and easily with my credit union and Omid even spotted the hybrid discount offered by Redwood Credit Union. I strongly recommend Marin Imports.

Omid sold me a Honda Accord that I am very happy with at a reasonable price, it came with a warranty so it ended up being a decent deal. They seem to have more integrity than most big name dealers. 5 stars.

Out of state buyer. Inspected car, vehicle and price was what I expected. Had vehicle shipped to my home. Two weeks later the shipper called saying that dealer said I was to pay for shipping. I told them the shipping fee was included in the purchase price and I had the document to prove it. They accepted my answer and said they would pursue payment from the dealer. Also, due to their delay and incomplete paperwork mailing to my state dmv it was a total of 61 days before my plates arrived. My temporary had expired and I was unable to drive the vehicle in the interim.. They are either incompetent, uncaring after sale, or worse.

I had a really great experience today at Marin Imports in San Rafael. We worked with Omid Khalili and he couldn't have been more honest, approachable and informative. There was no pressure whatsoever but only a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of time to make an informed decision. We were also able to drive the cars independently rather than have a salesperson ride along in the back seat. He trusted us and we trusted him. We bought a beautiful car at a reasonable price. I highly recommend Marin Imports!
