I was in the middle of a 1,400 mile trip when my Ford-F-150 developed an issue. We checked the internet for dealerships that might have the new explorer that we wanted. Great customer service before the sale, poor communication after the sale. I have asked 2 specific questions the day after and still never got an answer. 1st) will they please retrieve forgotten items egg in my trade in. (They didn't) . 2nd) will they tell me when last oil change was done on vehicle I purchased which belonged to one of their own employees ( they never answered after 2requests).

Purchased my second vehicle through Marshal Mize Ford. The car dealers and staff are extremely friendly and provide a non-pressuring experience. They listened to the details of what I wanted and what my desired fiscal costs are. Even after signing all of the purchasing documents, they were very helpful with explaining features of the car I purchased and had my wife and I meet with the Manager of the dealership and then meet with the Manager of the Service Center, (whom was also very helpful with a few questions I had about the maintenance I needed to do for the convertible top. On more than one occasion through the dealer link I reached out for a specific model or inventory only to be ignored on method of contact, ignored when questions were asked and the most amazing part was going to the deal to look at the truck in question and after 30 minutes of walking around the salesmen were too busy talking to each other instead of making a sale. The other dealer in town earned the business and sold the F-150 Platinum with a wonderful experience.

Greg and Dillon were great. Not too much pressure but made sure we were serious about considering a Ford over the competitors. Dillon showed us what we came there for (a used truck), but then highlighted the differences between the used truck and a new one so we could make an informed choice. He also was really good to followup and schedule a second appointment for us to come in. Greg knows the F-150 features and demonstrates them well. Greg also performed the detailing himself because the detail shop was backed up and it was late. I really wanted a Chevrolet, but bought a Ford after much comparison. This is partly due to the great Ford truck, but also to the sales capabilities of Dillon and Greg.

Kevin Baskette tried every way possible to put us in a car, but the bank required that we put some money down. We just didn't have any to put down. Others also tried to work it out for us, but we were just upside down on our trade-in car. I have had 2 occasions to use the service department of Marshal Mize Ford, both for vehicles not even purchased there. I have never received better, more courteous service in any setting, vehicle or other. I felt as though I mattered to each individual I spoke with, from the guy who listened to my issues to the girl who took my payment to the gentleman who explained how the new changes would work. When it comes time to look for another vehicle, this will be the dealership I contact...if they're this wonderful to those who didn't purchase there, how must they treat those who do!! Wonderful experience!

I was interested in a vehicle listed on the Marshal Mize website and on Car Guru. I filled out the internet forms and was contacted by the dealer to set up a test drive. I scheduled my job to be able to test drive two days later. Today I recieved in formation from the dealer that the vehicle had been sold even before I saw it on the internet. I know there is a disclaimer about the accuracy of the vehicles in stock but, this vehicle was sold and should not have even been available to have a person call me to set up the test drive. Maybe just a ploy to get potential customers in the door and now I am sure more customer would like to hear about your negligent business practices.

I purchased a used civic about 7 weeks ago. Had a great experience then. But this morning My ac compressor went out while driving home. I called and spoke with Mike Hicks. He was very professional and super nice. He sent a tow truck to get my car made the repairs and only charged half Cost of parts and no labor charges.

I visited this dealership twice within the last three weeks looking to trade in my 2014 Dodge Ram. I know I am $4500.00 upside down in negative equity, and I told the salesperson this. The only thing I could really buy without my payments going crazy would be a used truck maybe a couple of years older. (I'm looking for a 4 wheel drive-nothing special). I picked one out (2013 F 150) late the Saturday before New Years. Came back on Monday and someone else had bought it. Ok, so I shopped around a few days then Max the salesperson calls me and says they have another 2013 F 150 he thinks they can sell me at the payments I need to stay at. After we drive it, of course I'm told they can't get me the deal I need, BUT, they have a 2013 Dodge they can definitely make the deal I need. After waiting around another hour, now they can't make this deal even though this truck is over $7,000.00 cheaper than the first one I looked at because "we're only making $700.00 on this deal". On a $26,000 truck? Come on Mize. Ha Ha. Do they really think there are people stupid enough to believe this crap? Or, unfortunately, maybe there are. I am 54 years old and have bought at least one vehicle at every lot in the Chattanooga area.....except at Marshall Mize. This dealership is a poster child for everything that is wrong with the car buying experience. Run far, run fast from this dump.

Service was performed as promised. The problem is not with the service performed but with administrative issues. Service required an appointment to be made 2 weeks ahead because there is a large backlog of cars awaiting service. It appears that the Marshal needs to hire more mechanics or cut back on oil changes and tire sales.

Upon taking my Expedition to the Marshal Mize Ford dealership to check out a minor problem before it became a major problem, I was told that they were terribly backed up and that repair could take as long as a week. I was encouraged to make an appointment for a future data. I made the appointment for 3 weeks out with the assurance that they would get to it at the appointed time. I dropped off the vehicle on the appointed day and was cautioned that depending on what they found, it might take several days to fix. Giving them the benefit of the doubt I waited for 7 days before calling to check on the status. They had not even looked at the problem much less fixed it. I was given lots of excuses about their backlog... But 4 weeks? Give me a break. I took my vehicle to another Ford dealership where they could get to it tomorrow. I will not be going back to Marshal Mize Ford.

I was contacted via Ford to take my car into the dealership for repair / evaluation of a safety concern brought to my knowledge by Ford. I contacted the Service Department and made an appointment to have my car repaired. I was told that the repair would take the greater part of the day and transportation would be provided to run me back home. Upon arrival at the dealership Service Department, the "tech" took my car and told me that it would not take much longer than 30 to 45 minutes and I should just hang around until it was done. In about 45 minutes, I was contacted and my car was checked out and ready to take home.I am very satisfied with the service I received and am proud that I waited because no inconvenience was encountered and I was treated very nicely in all aspects of business.

Pleasant experience when I called in to make an appointment. Andy greeted me by name when I drove into the service bay and had me ready to leave my care within about 2 minutes. Was told that it would take about 45-60 minutes to complete my service and they would call me when my car was ready. I had walked to a nearby store and started walking back to Marshal Mize 40 minutes after I dropped off my car and they were calling me before I returned to Marshal Mize. Andy explained my vehicle printout to me and thanked me for bringing my car in for service. The lady who took my payment was very helpful and explained how to go online and get my rebate. Everyone that I encountered during this service visit was cheerful and helpful. I will continue to use Marshal Mize and recommend them to family and friends.

My 2013 Ford Edge displayed a door ajar alarm while the door was closed. I made several calls to the dealer, Marshall Mize Ford, and found their service advisors to be more than helpful including telling me how to clean the locking mechanism. That worked for a temporary period and then I called again and they suggested I bring in the car for them to check. Bottom line is they make the repairs at no charge to me even though technically I was out of warranty about 1,000 miles at the time I brought it in for service. I was treated with courtesy and can't say to much about the kindness and concern of my service advisor, Bobby Howard. I explained this was the vehicle my daughter drove daily and I need it to be as dependable as possible. He fully understood and worked with me to get the vehicle repaired. Thanks Bobby.

After two good experiences with the dealership, I had a terrible one. I wanted to trade for a Cmax. I was told I could only have white or black. I was also told I was going to have huge payments over 700. I was told by a sales manager that if this other person wanted my trade, I would get a better deal. After buying two previous cars from this dealership I felt a little upset. Needless to say, I went elsewhere, got a beautiful red Cmax with nany more features than what they showed me, and my payment went up only three dollars. Loyalty means nothing and I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

My experience with Marshal Mize was excellent! I had tried to get Larry Hill to help me (I dont live in Chattanooga) but they wouldnt even try. My car would turn off while I driving down the road. Being pregnant and having a 2 year old, its pretty scary for your vehicle to just shut down whenever it wants to! Turns out there was a recall on my vehicle but Larry Hill wouldnt even take a look at it without charging me $85/hour. I sent a message to Marshal Mize and they returned a call to me within a couple hours. I was very impressed. They told me to bring the car in right away and they would take a look at it. They had my car fixed in a few hours with no charge. Thanks so much Marshal Mize!!

When i arrived on the lot i was greeted by Kevin Line. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. It was around 4 when i arrived so we were unable to complete the deal due to my previous credit issues. Everyone at the dealership was very friendly and helpful. Danny Watkins showed us around the lot and we picked a Ford Focus and he was very knowledgeable and showed us all the features about the car. After we took the car for a test drive, we came back and Danny went over the price of the car and explained all the figures to us. Then we went to see the finance officer and he went over every document and explained what each one was and answered any question we had. The whole experience was hassle free and everyone was very friendly and just wanted to make sure we were happy like we were part of the family. Dylan made everything super easy and the process went without a hitch. They were very accommodating throughout especially since we were from out of town. Truly a great car buying experience.

Please allow me to begin with the fact that I am 41 yrs old and I just bought my very first "new" car!! I was always afraid to even think of buying new. I never thought I could. Dylan at Marshal Mize is AMAZING!! Jim in financing is a pretty amazing too! Each and every person in the dealership that I saw were above and beyond friendly. I can't remember everyone's name but I do know that I would truly recommend this dealership to anyone that is thinking of purchasing a vehicle (new or used). A few days prior to visiting Marshal Mize Ford I had purchased a vehicle of another make and was very dissatisfied with my purchase. Upon arrival at Marshal Mize I talked with Mr. Narrmamore who introduced me with Johnny Del Valle. Johnny showed me around the dealership and to the type vehicles I described to him that I was interested in. Johnny was very knowledgeable of the vehicles and able to answer all my questions on the spot. He and Mr. Narrmamore worked together and gave me, what I felt, the best they could. Johnny was helpful after we finalized the deal in assisting me by explain how the electronic devices worked, operation of the vehicle, warranty and service issues, etc. Since the purchase he has contacted me a couple of time to make sure I was pleased with everything and to offer his assistance. Johnny has made me feel he has my interest at heart. It's been a pleasure doing business with him and were I to be returning to Marshal Mize for a future purchase I would want to deal with him.

I had the pleasure of working with Kevin Baskette in 2011 when I bought my first Focus. He was great - very helpful and worked hard to find me the exact car I wanted - there wasn't one on the lot at the time, but he found me one within minutes and I had it within a couple of days. Two weeks ago, that car was totaled when someone turned left right in front of me. I called Kevin and told him I was once again in the market for a new Focus. I told him my criteria and again he found me the car I wanted. When I showed up at Marshall Mize, he had several cars already picked out for me and it was a no-brainer choosing the one I wanted. I recommend Kevin and Marshall Mize to anyone who asks.

The reason that I chose Marshal Mize Ford for my purchase is that the former dealership that I had been loyal to for the past 30 years could not give me the great deal that Marshal Mize did. I was looking for for a reasonable monthly payment and someone who would give be a good deal on the vehicles I was trading in. Marshal Mize did both. My salesman was Patrick Owensby and he worked hard to find the vehicle I wanted and that I could afford. He was very friendly and very helpful and I actually enjoyed my buying experience. My finance manager was Ray Sheets and he was also friendly and pleasant to work with. In the future Marshal Mize will definitely have all of my business and my loyalty. They had already earned all of my service needs on all of my previous vehicles.

I don't have good credit, and everyone else I talked to had me do credit application online , 1 of 2 things happened when I did. I would get a call back saying "sorry can't help you" or they just didn't call me back. Not Marshal Mize Ford, Dylan called me back, asked me a few questions and said "I think I can help you", I almost didn't go because I thought he was "full of it". Gosh was i wrong, when I got there he introduced me to Robin. Robin told him to find me a car at a certain price, within an hour I was driving away in my new car. Thank you Dylan and Robin, I will definitely be back to Marshal Mize Ford for my next car!!!!!!

This is my third vehicle from Marshal Mize. First experience with Patrick Owensby, who was very friendly and informative. He answered all my questions and I had alot of them since this is my first car with all the bells and whistles. He even paired my phone with the sync system to get me started! We were extremely pleased with Greg Morgan and Kris Stedman. We started out with Kris, the Internet Salesman, but ended up with Greg and could not have been happier! Greg knew all about the choices we were considering and pointed out their differences. Greg came out immediately when I stopped in the first time, and after I stated "we were working with Kris", Greg said he was just there to help out and answer any questions while Kris was busy with a customer. When we returned a few days later it was Greg who was right there and went on the test drives with us. We were greeted by friendly staff at Marshall Mize when we first began looking at vehicles. They were courteous, friendly and helpful without being pushing or forceful. We had the freedom and time to look at as many different vehicles as we wanted to without being pressured. We fell in love withe the Edge, it was everything we wanted in an automobile. Went to dealership to look and see what they had on the lot not knowing they had a jeep. We were approached right at the beginning and asked for Patrick and he was out of town. Kevin offered to show us around and even sell us a car for Patrick since we knew him. Kevin gave us great service and sold us our Jeep. I had to call Patrick and see if he could locate a owners manual for the car and he said he would have one to me in a week. Both salesman have been wonderful to deal with and I would recommend anyone to go buy a car from either salesman.

I was so impressed with the people there. I was greeted at the door By the Manager and he was the first to test drive my trade in and didn't waste any time in getting things moving for us. Kris was just great with selecting a truck that met our needs and at the price we could afford. after we made the deal Kris took us to the service department and introduced me to the service manager and he told me about all the things they offer in there department. It was such a pleasant experience.

I had experienced horrific customer service at Larry Hill Ford and arrived at Marshal Mize defeated and upset. Dylan immediately put me at ease and Eddie went out of his way to make me feel better. They treated me with respect and kindness and were not pushy, which I really appreciated. Kevin fought hard to get me the best financing available. They checked in and kept me updated through the whole process. They have won a lifelong customer and I've told everyone about the excellent customer service. F350 truck was towed to Marshal Mize under warranty. Service department at Marshal Mize informed Ford Motors that my husband was reponsible for the rear axle breaking. They stated that he had to cause the break. Frank was hauling our John Deere tractor that weighs 3480 pds on a straight paved road. We had a witness to the incident. Marshal Mize refused to contact the witness. Ford Motor then denied the claim. We went to pick up some keys that were in the truck and service placed all the bearings in a box in the back of the truck and it rained 1 1/2 inches. That was very careless and unprofessional. These parts should have been placed in the cab. Then we decided to tow the truck to Mtn View Ford. Marshal Mize Ford was being very difficult with the tow truck driver. It took him 1 1/2 hours to get the truck. The service department at MTN View Ford states that there was an issue with the bearings. It should have been covered under the warranty. Estimated cost to fix is about $2800. My husband tried to discuss the issue with the owner and he just ignored him. We have purchased two trucks from Marshal Mize in the past 3 years. Never again! The only person that was professional and friendly at Marshal Mize Ford was our original salesperson, Eddie Owensby. He's a great guy.

Right from the start my experience was different compared to the other dealership in town. Patrick immediatly took me over to the truck area and showed me the various options that were available and we were test driving vehicles shortly after that. Across town we spent 30 mins there and I had to basically push and urge the salesman to go and get answers to my questions. We left not looking at a single vehicle.Patrick on the other hand was very knowledgeable and answered my questions promptly.

I was looking for a specific Ford Raptor in my local market in Olive branch , MS. They informed me that unless I ordered the vehicle they would not be able to get it as I wanted. I searched dealer inventory on line and learned that my vehicle might be available in Chatanooga. After a request I learned that the vehicle had an estimated arrival date of Feb 2014. Dylan told me he would contact me when it arrived. Luckily the vehicle hit your lot on New Years Eve and and I got a call the day after New Years. I made plans to travel after a tentative value for my trade was arranged. My duaghter and I were able to drive the truck and while we were waiting on paperwork, Dan Bastnagel and I recounted that he was a prior patient of mine in Olive Branch and this conversation kept us entertained while the transaction was completed. It was a great experience!I did pay more than I had hoped for the vehicle but got exactly what I wanted. In the end I was happy that I made the 400 mile trip to get my awesome Raptor! This is the fourth vehicle I have purchased from The Marshall, the last three with the assistance of Danny Watkins. Danny has always been very helpful and trustworthy. I have recommended Danny and Marshall Mize when asked about the Ford Raptor I purchased in 2011. In addition to Danny, Dan and Thad from sales have been very helpful. It is very comforting to walk in to the showroom and three people can call you by your name! I will continue to use Marshall Mize and Danny Watkins, Thad and Dan in helping choose my next vehicle.

I started off looking at several different dealerships on line from various manufacturers and had sent email questions to 3 different dealerships describing my interests. 2 of the dealerships were Ford and the third was Dodge. I emailed all 3 around the same time 6pm Monday night. I knew it was after hours and honestly did not expect to here from any one until the next afternoon. I had an email from Marshal Mize early the next morning giving me some good info about the inquiry made the night before and I had asked a technical question. Dylan was the first responder to my question. I would also like to say that I was impressed that not only did he answer my question but he did it without using some high pressure sales pitch. I then was messages by Kevin the internet sales manager once again not to add pressure or a sales pitch but just to ensure I was receiving great customer service. I was originally going to use my bank to finance the new truck which was taking longer than it should have. At this point after talking to Kevin he said that he could find out the banks rate for me so I agreed. Within 30 Kevin messages me to let me know that everything was approved. So I asked " What's next?" Kevin said " come pick up your truck". After arriving at the shop where Chris and Kevin were waiting for me they did a great job showing around the truck and ensuring it was clean and ready to go. Ray did a great job going over the financing options and ensuring I had no questions. This was the least stressful and satisfying vehicle purchase I have ever had. I am a manager for Home Depot so I know what great customer service is......So do the associates at Marshal Mize Ford.

As I told Greg once we completed the deal, I have nothing but great things to say about him and the numerous dealership personnel with whom I worked. I had visited several dealerships in the area, Ford and otherwise, and these guys were able to put together the best deal, and relatively quickly considering the undesirable position I was in with my previous lease. Upfront, no smoke screens or gimmicks, which allowed us to progress quickly and get the car I needed. Very appreciative of their work to find the exact car I wanted.

Eddie Ackerman helped me get over price shock of buying a new truck. We looked at all the options of new and used trucks and finally decided on a F-150 supercrew cab 4x4 with the chrome package. I looked at several other dealers and Marshal Mize had the best price. Eddie did a great job of looking for all the price rebates to get the best deal for me. He was very easy to work with and was very knowledgeable on the Ford products and all the options on used trucks. I would highly recommend him to my friends as a person to deal with when buying a new truck. We were in the market to purchase an SUV and we visited two different Ford dealerships within 30 minutes of our house. Both of those dealerships had vehicles we kind of liked, but wasn't exactly what we wanted. Even after letting them know we were looking for something more, both places were extremely pushy on trying to talk us into liking something we didn't. I work from Knoxville to Chattanooga, and we looked up Marshal Mize's inventory online and they had some SUVs that we were looking for. We made the 109 mile trip down there to just look at what they had. From the moment we pulled in at the dealership, the excellent customer service began. We were met by Danny Watkins who showed us the couple of vehicles, and pulled it into the service bay so we could take a very good look at it in the lights. It was late, and close to closing time, so they just told us to take the vehicle home for a demo ( remember we drove 109 miles). They filled it up with gas and on our way we went. The next day, Dee Dee worked through all our paperwork, and kept communicating with me throughout the day. I was never left in limbo on what was going on. Step by step, we were informed. Jamie Stewart worked on our loan, and we were able to come to an agreement on what we wanted to pay without having either party sacrifice too much. In the end, when we went to sign everything, Mr. Stewart had worked out an even better deal. The paperwork process was quick, well organized, and very painless. After the paperwork, Dee walked us through the entire vehicle, showed us how everything worked, and explained the navigation system ( which is more complicated than the US Government!). My wife was thrilled by the service, and. I have told everyone I know on how awesome of a buying experience we had. I have purchased several new and used cars over my lifetime, and this by far, was the best shopping experience I have ever had from start to finish! I will definitely purchased my future vehicles from here, even if it means driving 2 hours and 109 miles!!!

This dealership was excellent! On the busiest day of the year to purchase a new car, they were friendly and very accommodating to us and our three year old. I have previously purchased 2 cars from Marshall Mize this one a Ford Escape is my third. I must say this one was the best experience I had when making my decision to finally purchase another vehicle. I am a retired individual and on a limited income and I needed another car that was easier to get into and out of , comfortable on my back and affordable . Johnny was recommended to me by Greg Kraft in your service department. I can honestly say Greg makes getting my car serviced at Marshall Mize a pleasure because he gives an honest answer to any problems I had with my Focus. Now Johnny was courteous,and patient when answering any of my questions. I felt he worked with me on getting the best deal that I could have possibly get. I was able to test drive the car which in the past with my other 2 cars I didn't. Johnny also knew the ins and outs of the car which told me he took the time to know the product he was selling. This is all a plus for me, and no high pressure to accept the deal. I now have a better feeling about car salesmen because of Johnny. I know there are still high pressure sale persons, Johnny is a treasure and I hope Marshall Mize knows he is a gem. Thank you for letting me express my opinions. I have to add the gentleman that handled getting my Escape financed. I believe he went above and beyond what he could to get me the best financing at the lowest interest. I have already talked with my friends about the great deal I got and I hope that when they need a new or used car they will go to Marshall Mize.

We were greeted warmly when we came in. Once we explained we had an appointment with Kris Steadman he was immediately called to the front. The sales people in the front did not just walk off and leave us when we told them we were there to see Kris but instead stayed and chatted with us, making us feel welcome and valued as a customer/potential customer. This is the 5th car we have purchased from Marshall Mize (Kris has handled all of them) and we have been treated fairly, considerate, had good experience seeing the various cars available with the items we specified that we wanted on our car. We received several discounts/rebates and were pleased to learn we were eligible for them. We felt we were given a good trade in amount for our car and appreciated that the amount they gave us was discussed with us and explained how they came to that amount. Our financing research was handled for us and then explained in detailed so we could understand all aspects of it. Our service experience with Marshall Mize has always been excellent - appointments on time, courteous, good service, car ready when promised and suggestions made about any work that might be needed (other than what we came in for). We always take both of our Ford vehicles to Marshall Mize for service. Thank you Marshall Mize for working with us to get us a new Ford Edge!

On October 19, 2013, I went to the Marshall Mize Ford where I had purchased two new cars back in 2009 and 2011. This was my third time to this dealership for possibly a third new vehicle. I am looking to purchase a boat in the near future and needed to trade the 2012 Mustang I purchased in 2011 or look for a used car that was capable of towing the size of boat I am looking to get. I had a couple vehicles that I was interested in and after looking at the vehicles in person and telling the salesmen what I was needing, I decided on the 2014 Escape. I was told by the salesmen that this vehicle was what I was looking for. Unfortunately a vehicle could not be found that would be within my budget, so I tried again on October 31st (a Thursday night). A vehicle was finally found that would be in my budget and I decided to make the purchase. By the next day (Friday night), after driving the Escape for a day as an everyday vehicle, I had found it to be an uncomfortable ride, didn't have very good handling and seemed a little under powered when a little extra acceleration was needed. During this time, I also found out from a boat dealership that the kind of boat I was looking to purchase next year would be too much for a 4 cylinder engine that the Escape had, even though the dealership said it would be good. With the roads and mountains in the area, I was told that the Escape would struggle with a boat that size. Between being an uncomfortable ride and finding that it was not the vehicle I was going to need, I tried to call my salesman to voice my concern that I had, but the dealership was had already closed.On Saturday, November 2nd (about 36 hours after my purchase) I contacted my salesman and told him of my concerns and before I had the Escape too long, I wanted to return the Escape and get my Mustang back and do some research on the vehicle I needed. I was told he would need to be approved by the manager and he would contact me with an answer. A few minutes later, my salesman informed me that the manager, Phil Lewis, said the only thing he would do was trade me out of the Escape and into another new vehicle. I asked if doing that would make my monthly payments go up again, and I was told "Yes". I was unable to do that without taking away from what the payments on a new boat would be. I was already at the limit of my budget with the Escape, so I called Phil Dyer personally and after pleading my case, he would not allow me to return the Escape and go back after some more research. If the sale was cancelled, I could go for another new vehicle and stay within my budget. But trading out of a new vehicle (which already raised my monthly payment) into another new car, would raise me even higher. Keep in mind that Marshall Mize still had the paperwork. Nothing had been sent to my bank yet, so it was something that could have easily been done. Especially for a loyal customer who had already purchased two new cars within a 4 year period. The following Monday I called to talk with the owner of Marshall Mize (Lewis Dyer) to see if there was anything he would be willing to do as the owner, but he would not return my call. So on Tuesday, I called again and was finally able to talk to the owner, but was told the same thing that Phil Dyer told me. I pointed out to the owner that this was the third time I was there to purchase a new car and would have continued in the future, but he didn't care. My conversation with both Phil and Lewis Dyer felt as if I was an annoyance, because I asked them to cancel the deal. When I'm there to buy, they are all happy and friendly. But the one time in 3 purchases I had an issue, it felt as if I was being given the cold shoulder and that all my years of being a loyal customer meant nothing to them. And then even when I considered getting out of the Escape for yet another new car, they said they couldnt do anything to help me keep from going up in monthly payments.I couldn't see myself being stuck in the Escape, so I decided to travel to the Larry Hill Ford dealership in Cleveland to see if they would be willing to work with me, even if I had to go back into another Mustang. Not only were they able to get me out of the Escape and back into a Mustang without going up in monthly payments, but I actually went DOWN in monthly payments and a little bit of a lower total I was having to finance. What that showed me was that it wasn't that Marshall Mize couldn't help me, but that they wouldn't. Anything Larry Hill Ford could do, Marshall Mize should have been able to also do. I heard stories about Marshall Mize after buying my first vehicle from them, but since I had a good experience, I went back the second and third time. It was only after I had a problem and wasn't happy that they showed their ugly side. They seem to only be concerned with making the money now and not look ahead in the future with a customer that would have kept coming back. And I blame Marshall Mize for telling me that the Escape would do what I needed, when in actuality it would be underpowered. Not one person told me I would have been better off with a 6 cylinder engine.I would highly recommend to anyone looking to buy a new or used vehicle to avoid Marshall Mize Ford at all cost. You might be lucky enough to get a deal you want, but if you have a problem, your going to be on your own. Especially when you have other dealerships nearby with better reputations you can choose from. There is the Mountain View Ford in the Chattanooga area, but I can guarantee that it would be worth the trip to go to Cleveland and see the people at Larry Hill Ford dealership. I can highly recommend the salesman that I had the pleasure of working with, Bryan Cruz. I felt he went out of his way to ensure I had a good experience with Larry Hill Ford and that I was able to make the best out of the situation I was in. This website and the survey that was sent to me by the Ford Motor Company are the only ways I have to let people know what happened, so I am making sure to use them to the fullest.

My buying experience at Marshall Mize Ford surpassed all other transactions at any other auto dealer. The staff is first rate especially my salesman, Kris Stedman. He answered all my questions and concerns in a very timely manner. The typical high pressure sales of mostdealerships is nonexistent at Marshall Mize. After having the car for a while I decidednit was a little too much car for me and went back down to marshal mize to purchase an escape which was really the car I wanted to purchase in the beginning but there wasn't one available so much to my pleasNt surprise they had just the model I wanted the other day. I was in the process of transferring a lease of my 2012 Ford 150 I leased from Marshal Mize in June of 2012. I was sent a notice from Ford Credit stating the transfer was approved and that several signatures were required on various documents to finalize the transfer. One of these documents required that the originating dealer initial and sign as the lessor. On April 13Th, I entered the dealership and started speaking with Phil Dyer, the General Sales Manager. After a brief explanation of what the documents were for, Phils belligerent attitude began. At first, he was simply curt and slightly inconsiderate in his speech, stating things like, I dont care what its for, Im not signing this. After a few moments, he became outright hostile in his speech and body language and I honestly felt like I was being treated as if I were trying to do something illegal in asking for the dealership to sign the paperwork. I can certainly understand that they needed to verify what the paperwork was for but there was absolutely no desire what-so-ever displayed to help me understand why he was refusing to sign, and the only answer I got from him was that I dont care what you say, theres no way Im signing this All of these actions and statements were made in front of multiple employees and customers. I asked to speak with the GM, and he stated he WAS the GM, which wasnt the case. All in all, nothing was done that day and I left. I went back to the dealership the following Monday (April 15th) and again spoke with Phil Dyer. At first he seemed calm and got Ford Credit on the line while I stood waiting. At one point, he said something to the rep on the phone that didnt apply to me and I started to interject that what he said wasnt correct, but before I spoke 3 words, he stuck his hand in my face and said you need to be quiet. I was flabbergasted, never in my 36 year have I ever been treated with such complete disrespect from a company of which I was a customer in good standing with. I never-the-less tried to speak again and he told the rep to hold on while he turned to confront me. He then stated, Look, you need to keep your mouth shut! Dont say one more word or you can just take this paper work and leave. Again, I was astounded that this man was treating me this way, all the while, several employees (who were glancing nervously my way during the whole situation) and other customers were well within earshot. I opened my mouth to try and again explain that he needed to look at some of the other information on the paperwork, and he turned away from me, got on the phone with the Ford Credit rep, and told them he would have to call them back. At this point, he slammed the phone down and turned to confront me again and stated, Listen very closely, you need to keep your mouth shutdont say another word.if you want our help you are going to stand there and keep quiet. Now Im going to have to go back to a private office to call these people back just so I can get some quiet! Do you understand what Im saying? At this point, I simply stared at the guyI was way beyond being upset, I was simply amazed. He then left me standing at the service counter while he walked away to an office in the back I presume. After about 10 minutes, he came back, stuck his hand out for the paperwork, and initialed on the line, and said, There. At this point, I would like to say that at no time during this whole situation did I ever raise my voice, become rude, or act in any way that would be confrontational. There were plenty of people around that could attest to this. To continue, after he handed my paperwork back to me, I told him I would like to speak to the General Manger. At first, he pointed at himself and said, I AM the General Manager. I said, Not a General Sales Manager, the General Manager, the one sitting in that office. I pointed to the office where the general manager sat. He replied, Thats not going to happen I said, So you mean to tell me youre going to refuse me the ability to speak to your General Manager? He then said, I own part of this dealership and hes my brother, so its not going to do any good. I said, Well I would like to speak to your brother then. He then walked in the General Managers office, closed the door and spoke to Todd Dyer, the General Manager for about 5 min before coming back out and stating that I could go on in.The meeting with Todd Dyer was as expected. Although, he was pleasant and respectful in his communication with me I never got any apologies from him, or even admissions that things should have been handled differently, just that he wasnt here or didnt observe what happened so he cant make any statements concerning the events or conversations had between Phil Dyer and myself. The closest thing to even admitting something awry had taken place, was a blanket statement that people sometimes make mistakes. At the end of the conversation I simply said that I would like either one of two things. A simple apology because of the way I was treated, or his district managers contact information. He stated that an apology wasnt going to happen, and that he would take my information down and send me his district managers information. Im not holding my breath on ever getting that information from him. Normally, I would brush situation like this off and move on, but as I stated about, I have NEVER been treated with such animosity, insincerity, hostility, and outright rudeness as I have been treated by this dealership, and I feel like this situation must be made aware of so that others can possibly avoid the extremely unpleasant experience that I went through.

Began my car search with a list of requirements: year, make, model, features, price, and exterior colors. After weeks of searching, I came across a vehicle matching all my criteria. Downside? The dealership was nearly 400 miles away. However, The service I received from Marshal Mize Ford was well worth the drive. Kris Stedman was a wonder to work with and was more than willing to take call after call and question after question from me in order to make this long distance purchase work. I would say he went above and beyond to clear up my questions and concerns so that there would be no issues when I arrived to close the deal. Marshal Mize will definitely be on my "look at first" list when I'm ready for my next purchase.

From start to finish my experience was excellent. The salesman took his time to show me everything I was interested and gave recommendations for cars I had not even thought I would be interested in. I never felt rushed or pressured at anytime. I feel I got an excellent price to go with the excellent customer service all the way through finance. My experience with Marshall Mize was excellent. Kris and Dylan, both, were very friendly and helpful. I had been conversing with Kris via email before arriving to see and test-drive the car. Kris was with another customer when I arrived, so he had Dylan help me. Any questions that I had regarding the operation of the vehicle were quickly answered and demonstrated. Dylan was very understanding and worked with me on the price of the car. The condition of the used car was excellent... almost like new.

The auto body shop was terrific including having my rental ready and running. Smooth Process and the only downside I see is that they have to disconnect the battery and it messes with the computer system data recovery system.

I would first like to say that i did not go there looking for a new car only to pick up my some from having his car service..i had been corresponding with kris stedman about 8 or 9 months ago about trading in my expedition for a newer one...so while i was there i was gonna inquire about some pieces that i needed for my current vehicle and in the process he suggested i try and see what i could do...no pressure it was the best decision i made he walked thru it with me and everyone there really was nice and helped me thru it and i will go back again when the time comes and also have recommended marshall mize to tohers...all i know is that the lord worked thru kris and the staff there and i was blessed in the end,...keep up the GREAT work there and you all will continue to be successful...thanks so much...

This new vehicle purchase began with the "built your own" on the Ford website. I was contacted shortly thereafter by Kris Stedman and we set up an appointment. They did not have the exact truck I wanted and was unable to find it elsewhere so they submitted an order to Ford. I received the truck 30 days later. Dealing with Kris was the most pleasant car buying experience of any in 45 years of purchasing new vehicles. I see him again when my wife is ready for a new car.

He did this quickly, we arranged a time to meet and he helped me understand the Explorer details with my wife, talked about pricing and trade, and responded quickly when I came back in a few days with what I thought was a good deal for me. He engaged his manager on (Richard Maddox) on one visit...also very helpful. When Kris could not be available on the day actually buying the car and leaving with it he arranged for EJ to be our contact and EJ and Richard really helped move us thru the system quickly. The Mize team was very friendly - seemed to always look for a way to make the deal work for us. It's the best experience I've had in Chattanooga in 26 years of living here and buying cars.

This is the 2nd time I have bought from Kris. He is a very knowledgeable salesman, that is not into the high pressure routine. I was pleased with the customer service and the overall deal. I to, was disappointed with Jimmy in finance, his whole attitude changes when you don't do exactly what he originally wants. He is demeaning. I buy because I am treated with respect and get a good deal, Kris makes that happen. I am loyal to Kris, if he left the dealership, I would follow on my next purchase.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at the dealership with Kendrick. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and personable. Phil, his manager, was very personable as well. The only negative thing time that we had was when we were working with Jimmy in finance. He acted very aggressive and had a demeaning attitude about him. He made us feel like we couldn't make an intelligent, informed decision unless it agreed with him. Overall we had a great experience and was very happy that we got Kendrick and will be referring anyone that we know to him.

The dealership gave me a great deal on a Ford Escape. I asked for extras and received every one of them. Kris Stedman bent over backwards to make sure my experience was a great one. I had recently had surgery so didn't want to waste a bunch of time, and the whole experience was painless and fast. I was so impressed with the dealership that when my son came home from Korea and needed a vehicle, I sent him to Chris as well. Not only did he get what he wanted, but he also got a super deal.
