Not Asking Much

We traveled two hours to look at a vehicle from McFadden's. We were already pre-approved and ready to buy. After we drove the vehicle we sat down to talk about the price. The salesman was willing to work with us and spend his time with us. The financial manager on the other hand, did not leave his seat and instead refused to even talk to us about his beliefs on why he could not accept our offer. Instead of coming to us, he wrote in large green print, that they are not Gates or Bates and would not take our offer. It is one thing to not accept our offer but to tell us who you weren't on a piece of paper like a coward was so rude and disrespectful. When we drove two hours to see the vehicle, we obviously knew we were NOT going to Gates and last time I checked I can read, and clearly your Friendly Motors does not meet its expectations. It was a very disappointing experience and even if McFadden's did have a car we were interested in, we would not waste our time ever again to see a car, nor would we recommend. I think that the manager that was in charge obviously needs some training in customer service and common courtesy. How he even got as high as he has with the attitude and lack of interaction with customers, baffles me. The only thing I can say is thank you for not being Gates and recommending it since obviously McFadden's can't meet the needs that we are looking for that Gates or Bates can.

For over 15 years of great service I find no fault with McFadden's. I feel sorry for the person who had a loan through 5/3rd bank. I tried to get an account to process credit cards from 5/3rd for my business and it cost over $700.00 and I had no machine that would work. Then I tried to close the account and it took 4 months to get it closed while I was still paying the $40.00 a month service fee. It is not McFadden it was the BANKs fault.

Saw a great car listed at a price I could afford and contacted McFadden dealership. Found out the ad was for a ghost car. One to draw people in but not available. It seems this is a tactic used by many in the used car business. Ads like the one I saw show up for other dealerships too. I have no desire to do business with McFadden. Years ago I bought a couple new vehicles from them and was treated fairly. That no longer seems to be the norm there.

In my search for a Durango/Aspen I found a likely vehicle at McFadden Friendly Motors and made contact via email. Mr. McFadden followed up with a phone call to see if there was any way they could help me in my decision to purchase. I felt no pressure and was pleased with the way I was able to share my search needs even though we were unable to come to a price that I could deal with. I will surely include McFadden in my search, even though it is a two hour drive.

We purchased a vehicle from McFadden's last March it was financed by 5th3rd bank and they sold the sold before the 1st payment to someplace in Texas...we have had the Nissan appraised and both places we contacted told us that we owe $8000.00 more than what the vehicle is worth! We thought we were dealing with a christian business...they contacted us in the first place..so apparently the 5th3rd bank and McFadden's were aware they were ripping us off as the bank did the loan and sold it immediately..so buyer beware of McFadden Friendly Motors and 5th3rd bank!

My husband and I have been trying to get a car threw them for about 3 weeks and they mislead us told us we were all approved for a car drove the 2 and a half hours down there to get told they hadn't finished everything. We were unable to drive off with the car and did everything we needed to do. They were terrible at returning our calls we would call first thing in the morning and get told they would call right back and never would. We finally just gave up and never got told what was going on. If looking for a car fast never go threw them. Thank you for never getting back with us Williams Chevrolet appreciates our business

Me and my soon to be wife were looking for a car so I could get back and forth to work.We heard about McFaddens Friendly Motors and how many people were able to drive away with a new or used car,so we decided to give them a shot.And when we got there they were so very extremely helpful they did everything in their power to make sure we got a car,a very nice car if you ask me I love it.I recommend McFaddens to anyone that's looking for a vehicle. Bought our first car online. Found it on cars.com. We live in Colorado and the dealer is in Michigan. We really had to rely on the honesty and integrity of the dealer, Rusty McFadden, for ALL of the information about the vehicle. His super accurate description of the van was spot on. He reported all of the information, not just what someone would want to hear to make them buy the car. When we had the information, he was very patient as we made our decision. Then, he helped us overcome all of the logistics of traveling to get the van, including sending a very friendly driver to pick us up at the airport. (in a snowstorm!) The staff was great, and we were on our way in no time. We got a great van at a very fair price. The next time we need a car, we will not just randomly look on the internet, we will call McFadden's!

After doing much research on the web and looking at trucks. I came to McFadden Friendly Motors and had a great experience working with Tony. He truly cared about what I was looking for in a truck and helped greatly with his vast knowledge of the trucks I looked at and drove! What a great experience it was for the purchase of our first car. We went to McFadden's and Kyle Stewart had helped us. Sara and I both have not so great credit and wanted a brand new car. We both figured we couldn't get one so were hoping to get an older car to rebuild our credit. Kyle Made the whole process very easy with no games played. We told him our down payment wasn't coming in for a few days , and he didn't cast us aside like other salesman have. he showed us the older car and the new avenger that we really wanted. He went over all the options clear and easy to understand. I couldn't believe they were able to get me a new avenger. we went all over, then we went to mcfaddens friendy motors. we had a set amount to spend. our sales Rep. Tony was great he answered any questions and he was caring and concederate.with his kind help and his manager. we got what we wanted .they really work with you. See Kyle Stewart at Mcfadden's. He was very patient with my wife and I. The team there worked very hard to help us with our situation. In the end, it was a very pleasant buying experience. We were looking for used, but new turned out to serve our needs best. Thanks again guys for all you do. We would send anyone there to McFadden's. It truely is friendly. We had a very pleasent buying experience at McFadden...Kyle was very patient with all of our questions and concerns. He put us at ease and let us take our time with coming to the decision of whether or not to buy. McFaddens explained how working through them would help establish our credit and better our future. My girlfriend and I are simple people, but we do expect a certain amount of customer service when it is required. The team at McFadden Friendly Motors is the epitome of customer service! Without going into too many details, buying a car from these guys was the single most wonderful example of customer service we've seen... EVER! We live about an hour and a half from the dealership and we were vacationing in South Haven. Due to unforseen circumstances, we needed to buy a car... and fast. Our salesman Kyle and the service manager Joe took it upon themselves to make amazing things happen for us! They even went as far as to give us a loaner car to drive home in because our car wouldn't be ready for a couple days and they are personally delivering the car to us on Saturday. Remember, we live 100 miles from the dealership. I don't know very many people to give up their Saturday to deliver a car. Our expectations were extremely surpassed and would highly recommend these guys to anyone looking to buy a vehicle. Thank you again Kyle and Joe for making us feel like family and not just another sale walking through your door. You have a customer for life and we would gladly make the trip back to see you for our next car!

A GRAND experience , we had been looking for a jeep grand CHERROKEE for some time ,we knew the exact color and options we wanted. Found this GRAND vehicle on cars.com. The web add was excellent in every detail, and we found the vehicle to match the add. McFadden friendly motors is a great place to purchase a vehicle ,everything from test drive to the drive home a Grand experience . They truly are the friendly motor folks. We dealt with Tony & he was very informative & helpful. Sorry we were not able to find a truck thru him but I guess I'm an odd ball & just want a basic truck. I would highly recomend him. He went above & beyond looking for a truck for me.
