Best experience I've had to date at a dealership. Make (Nacho) and Bruce were fantastic to work with. If you're looking for a new truck this is the place to go. They made the process easy painless and fun. Could've been a little bit quicker to get through all the paperwork, but not longer than any other dealer I've been to. Not to mention got me a smoking deal on a brand new F-150. I can't recommend this dealership highly enough!

Came in on scheduled maintenance (10,000 mile) for an oil change and tire rotation. Comfortably sat in waiting area. Upon completion, the service manager promptly gave me a run down on safety checks that were conducted and found no issues. No surprises, and efficient service.

Looking to purchase a car and McFarland and they had cars on the Internet at one price and the same vehicle on the lot a different price. Think you are getting a good deal NO WAY! Saleman Bruce should go on dancing with the stars he shuffles the figures around so much. Bruce just argues and he had nothing to do with the transaction. Beware -- honesty is not a trait at McFarland in Exerer, NH. nor is good bedside manner. Shame on them.

Great experience! Just bought my second truck from McFarland Ford and the sales experience couldn't have been any better. Chris patiently walked me through all my options and helped me order exactly the vehicle I wanted. He provided regular status updates as the truck was being built, shipped and eventually delivered. We agreed on (great) pricing up front and there were no surprises when it came time to deal with all the paperwork. Chris went out of his way to make sure I was happy and informed throughout the whole sales process. I've dealt with their service department over the past five years and they are equally outstanding. I can't recommend this dealer highly enough. Great place to buy a vehicle!

I'm happy to drive an hour north to McFarland Ford because I know that the experiences I've had with the sales and service folks are far and away the best in the region. You feel like family here. No one is pushy in either sales or service. They'll explain everything clearly from the outset and won't try to confuse you or offer services that you don't need. I've tried a few dealerships that are a whole lot closer and look newer, but you just can't beat McFarland's personal touch and the high level of honest service.

First time using this dealership for service repair when vehicle would not allow gas into 3/4 empty tank. Usual reasons turned out not to be the cause and staff worked with Ford factory technicians to try and resolve issue. Finally diagnosed problem to be shop cloth blocking line. Kudos to Don, Justin and all of the technicians who worked without fail to resolve problem successfully and at VERY reasonable rate considering time involved. Gave us a break, for sure. Many thanks!! Whole experience was very good. Salesperson did not try to talk me into options that I didn't want. I went into the dealership with a print out that I did online and that's the truck I got. This is the second vehicle that we got at McFarland within a year; Scott Herman worked with us in June of 2015 and I knew I was going to McFarland for my next lease versus another Ford Dealership. I brought it in and after a week of follow up calls I finally was told that the best they could do was charge me $700+ to repair it. Needless to say I passed. Saw a truck on cargurus for 7985 went to the dealer on friday night they said they close at 7 i got there at 6:30 and they were closed went saturday morning i was really interested in the truck took the truck for a ride and on the highway the truck shaked steering was real loose doors were rot on the inside front brakes needed to be done soon spoke to a sales men ray he was cool about everything spoke to the manger rich who came and sat with us to make the deal to and straight told us that for less than 8 he was not going to sell it to anyone even with all the issues the truck had not a good place to do buisness

The visit for a NH State Inspection on my 2005 Ford Five Hundred SEL FWD was quick and painless. I asked the friendly staff to find the source of a braking noise that I knew would be easy to check, and was not charged for it, as I hoped! The waiting room has automotive magazines to read and had these two wonderful, powered massaging recliners that made my day. The only reason I gave a 4 out of 5 stars for the visit is because the technician that applied my inspection sticker on the inside of the windshield did not clean up the scraping and glue smears left from removing the old sticker. In the past when this was performed on my cars everything looked clean and tidy. Just think: Would you leave it like that if you were performing it on YOUR car? The dealership facility itself is in need of a makeover. Not that it keeps them from doing great work, but compared to others in the area it is starting to look a little dated and "long in the tooth."

While having my Explorer repaired to give to my daughter (new driver - ugh!), I started looking at the vehicles at the dealership since I'd need a replacement. My salesperson, Celia, was very knowledgeable about the different vehicle models I was interested in. She explained the different packages and covered all the details of a lease vs buy option. Once my exact vehicle request was located, she immediately drove out of state to pick it up. Eric, "the finance guy", was just as helpful in laying out all the financial details and explaining what it all meant. Todd in Service was very helpful in discussing the latest improvements to the technology in the vehicle and discussing his experience with the different models he's seen come through his shop. Overall, it was a great car buying experience. Other than having a car payment for the first time in 4 years (sigh...), I am very pleased with my Ford Edge, the sales experience, and the financial transaction. It was a 5-hour turnaround from the time I walked into the dealership until I drove away with my new Ford Edge (keep in mind that the vehicle was in another state and had to be retrieved). I even received my owner's manuals, quick technology setup guides, and Welcome to SYNC services info on my smartphone before they even handed me the keys. Top notch work.

I was contacted by Dave from McFarland Ford after filling out information through my car buying service offered by my employer. I told him I was going to test drive a car at a dealer closer to home. He explained to me the difference between a non-Certified Dealer and McFarland Ford. He also told me what to expect after my test drive and how they would provide me numbers for making a purchase. Because of speaking with him, I was prepared to deal with the process of how other dealers sell cars.I decided not to buy my car at the dealer where I did my test drive. Instead I made an appointment with Dave at McFarland Ford. Dave told me exactly what was going to happen in determining the price and making the sale. Everything was transparent. I knew exactly how the price of the car was determined.Dave paid close attention to all the details, making sure the car that I had decided on had all the options I expected, ensuring the car was cleaned up properly and the tank was filled with gas.We then went to the Finance Representative who processed the loan with no pressure to buy an extended warranty. It was quick and smooth. Also very transparent.I felt very comfortable speaking with everyone at the dealership. He understood my criteria for my new vehicle and found a 2010 Ford Explore that is perfect for me. It was 4thousand dollars less than the maximum I had set for myself. Tom Campbell is a very good man. My wife and I both have confidence in him based on the buying experience we had in obtaining the Explorer. Had a really good experience with this dealership and particularly with David Friedman, the salesman. Originally had picked a vehicle that I decided wasn't right for me. Decided instead on a totally different vehicle. In both cases, I was able to take the car out for an overnight test drive and a trip to my mechanic for an unbiased inspection.David was very relaxed, no hard sell. In fact he was willing to spend as much time as I needed to make a decision.

Hi,From the moment I called the service department to the afternoon I picked my keys back up, I had nothing but Customer First Service!! I brought the car in just before 5pm (don't we "love" those kinds of customers) but everyone involved was patient, they listened to my theory on the problem, took it for a drive and then proceeded to make sure I had what I needed to get to work while they made the repairs. Purchased our vehicle online using TrueCar. No haggle pricing for the new vehicle - this is the 2nd or 3rd vehicle we have purchased (from various dealers) using the internet.The salesman, Dave Friedman, did some vehicle searches and had to go outside of New York City to find a truck that had our color with the options we wanted, and it was well worth it as the truck is fabulous.I was not pressured, other than the salesman asking for timeframe, though they did want the vehicle pushed quickly due to it being the end of the month - and I understand this for the numbers they need.Decent price for our trade too, and we shopped the same truck and our trade to 3 other Ford dealers in two different states and this was our best deal. Also, we had no BS and not a whole lot of wasted time with the deal, used car negotiating, or on the day of delivery. I have been left alone for 3-45 minutes at other dealers while deals were "discussed" with the sales manager and other tactics. I experienced none of this here, which is refreshing given how much buying a car can be a pain.

We called about a 2008 Ford F450 that was listed on the internet site. We made arrangements to meet the salesman on his day off which was Sunday early in the morning. We travelled from Maine and was happy to see the salesman was there early. We were able to negotiate a deal for the truck within an hour including all the paperwork. They had to service the truck so we couldn't take it eith us that day.We picked up the truck the following Thursday as it was the next day that would work for us to get back there. We love the truck and Steve the salesman and Chris the sales manager were awesome to deal with.

We hadn't even made a payment on the car yet when we experienced a leek in the car when my husband went to take it to the carwash. We brought it in and was told that the windshield had to be re-sealed. We asked if we would have to pay for it, and was told you would pay up to 200- 250. The bill was 200 and you asked for us to pay 100, which we did, but wasn't thrilled. What happen there? Also our trunk was like a guillotine, we needed that fixed for safety reasons. We were told that the car went through 150 pointsof inspection before we considered buying it. I wondered how they could miss these two problems. My wife and I had a wonderful experience. From the time we were greeted by Chris to when he transferred us over to Scott who we both enjoyed working with. Scott went through the vehicle from top to bottom with us and explained things thoroughly and worked hard for us and made sure we were at a monthly payment that was affordable for us. He also explained how he follows up with his clients to see how they like their vehicle and that is especially important to my wife as she has leased many Fords and has one now and not once has she heard from her salesperson so she has told Scott that when her lease comes up next May she will transfers from Portsmouth Ford to McFarland. In addition, my wife has bought two vehicles about 20 years ago from McFarland and still believes in the dealership. In addition, we had to go back to the dealership a couple days later to obtain a sticker as that part of the shop was closed when we picked up the vehicle and Scott again helped my husband set his phone up through the blue tooth and was very good and clear with him. All in all our experience was OUTSTANDING and actually we have a friend who wants to go there soon as she will be purchasing a new vehicle.

Got turned to Mcfarland Ford through TruCar and am pleased they did. I was doing my research and car shopping for months till i found them. Not only was the price below the original TruCar certification they made the whole experience very simple for me. Literally called them about the car i wanted they ordered it and a month later it was there to my exact specification. The staff was very polite and was willing to assist me in anyway they could. Pushy salesmen and pressure to buy is the main reason i hate car shopping but the staff at Mcfarland really made it very hard to hate.

Went to dealer to look at a used truck listed at $15,000 as-is, Asked the dealer if they could put a hold on it, in which the salesman replied that it would be unfair to the other salesmen. The next day called and asked if I still wanted the truck because two other salesmen had already showed it and asked me to put a $500 deposit to hold the truck, ok strange but I wanted the truck so I complied, I was told the card would not be run and he simply needed it to "hold" the truck, went back the following day, Thursday at this point and did the paperwork on the truck in which the price jumped to a whopping 19000 I asked why so much and the response was they had to do $4000 dollars worth of work to it, even though I told them I wanted the truck as-is at the $15,000 that it was listed at. To top all of this they ended up running my debit card that was supposed to "hold" the truck and never even mentioned it to me!!! So in short, look over every piece of paper you sign with them because they love the smoke and mirrors!!!

I went into this deal ship after shopping around online and came across a sale that seemed great. I went into the dealership and told them exactly what I wanted and at what price I had seen it advertised for (the sale was going on for another week) I after speaking with the sales rep she "had to go talk to the manager". She comes back and tells me that price is only if I qualify for multiple rebates (which was not posted ANYWHERE) since I did not qualify it brought the price up over 2000 more. After telling her I was walking out she again "had to go talk to the manager." This time they could accommodate my price point. We then went on to talk about financing and using my current vehicle as a trade. Without looking at my car, they told me 100 dollars and that was it. (KBB has it marked at 750 in FAIR condition) At this point I walked out of the dealership. I wanted to purchase a car here because it's located in Exeter, but after this experience I will never step foot in there again and I will make sure I tell everyone I know who is in the market for a new car about the shady advertising and low ball trade ins this place will offer. I see a lot of people from Exeter on a daily basis and they will all here about this experience.

My experience with McFarland Ford was perhaps one of the worst customer experiences that I've had in my lifetime. The salesperson was completely unprofessional, the sales manager was belligerent and condescending, and they misrepresent their vehicle prices on the internet, presumably to attract inquiries. I have been a Ford buyer all my life, but I would never consider purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. I have reported my experience to the Consumer Affairs division within the state, as well as with the BBB, and would suggest that if others have similar experiences, that they report them as well. Businesses have to be accountable for their actions, and it's important that we as consumers share our experiences with others, so that poor customer service is addressed and remedied.Ford makes a fine vehicle, but McFarland Ford is not the place in which to purchase one.

My husband and I purchased our Ford Escape through Steve Price at McFarland Ford, Exeter a few weeks back. At the time, we were unsure whether we truly wanted to purchase a new vehicle or repair our older Chrysler which wasn't passing inspection. In hindsight, we are so glad that we took the plunge and bought our new vehicle; we simply love it! Steve Price helped turn a normally nerve-wracking experience for us into a wonderfully painless one. He was such a pleasant "no pressure" salesman and he was so very patient with us. He took his time finding out what our individual needs and wants were and spent almost an entire day showing us around the dealership taking us for test drive after test drive. He really seemed to enjoy his work and effortlessly showed us all that the Escape had to offer. What wonderful customer service and work ethic. As it turned out, we didn't purchase right away. in fact we were still on the fence when we returned 2 days later and met again with Steve. His intuition and sales skills shined through when he pulled a car off the lot (that he instinctively knew I truly wanted) and took us for a test drive. We were sold! I cannot say enough good things about this dealership. From the day of my purchase from Scott Herman to today, I cannot have been more satisfied. Scott makes a point of making himself known to me and conversing on every service visit when he is there. I have dealt mostly with Todd Bergeron on my service visits, and to a lesser extent, Don Perry. Service work is usually complete earlier than expected, and has never taken longer than expected. The service staff is more than willing to answer any question, and has several times gone above and beyond what it takes to be helpful. I regularly receive a service reminder 1-2 days before my scheduled service and a service follow up e-mail from Katie Moynahan. I have had service performed at two other Ford dealers in my area, and have had a mediocre experience at one, and was highly dissatisfied with the total lack of professionalism at the other. McFarland is a fine group of professionals. They also make you feel welcome. That is highly unusual in the case of auto shops in general. To be comfortable having service is more the exception, than the rule. I always feel like a valued customer.

We were looking for a used Explorer XLT and found exactly what we were looking for at McFarland Ford. We met with Scott Herman on a Saturday and he showed us a car that fit what we were looking for. We were not sure so we took the night to think about it. We returned the next day and Scott met us there. We test drove the car and Scott came up with an amount for our trade. There was no pressure at all and the deal was an easy one. He was very personable and professional. People say car shopping is a terrible thing but our experience was very pleasant. We plan on returning and dealing with Scott in the near future for our next purchase. We love our Ford Explorer.

I was more than a little disappointed when we asked for all weather cat mats and were told "No, the vehicle is already on sale": Drove the vehicle home on the 4th, the 14th, first time on the highway the tire pressure sensor fault light came on. Haven't had a chance to call them about that yet. Cheryl did call and leave a message on my machine to make sure things were going okay. I did feel bullied into buying the extended warranty. Overall, a typical car buying experience

My wife and I were nearing the end of an existing Ford lease and were looking to lease a new C-Max Hybrid to replace our Escape. When we arrived at the dealership we were met by Steve Price from sales. Steve had worked with us on our prior lease and had been very helpful in our choosing the right car for our needs. So we wanted Steve to to help us get into a new lease. He had a new C-Max Hybrid there on the lot and explained the differences between the model lines. Once again we were very satisfied with his knowledge of the car and its features. But unfortunately the model we wanted (SEL} was not available on the lot. Steve and Chris Lane the Sales manager tired to find us the exact model color and features we wanted but could not find an exact match. They suggested that we order a vehicle from the factory so we could get the car exactly the way we wanted. So we ordered our new C-Max instead of compromising on something near what we wanted, unlike other regional high volume dealers who just want to clear their lot of cars. It was refreshing to know that the staff were more interested in our needs then just making a quick sale. During the ordering and building phases of our New C-Max we were kept informed of the progress of the build and the expected delivery date. When the car arrived, a week ahead of schedule from Ford, they promptly had the car ready for us to take delivery. During the delivery Steve did all the ground work to have the our old Escape exchanged and the new car ready and Mike Martioski the Finance specialist was very helpful explaining conducting the process of the lease. After the paper work was all complete, Steve then was very helpful in making sure my wife and I were very familiar with all the car features before we left the lot. He was very nice in taking the extra time to make us feel comfortable with the car before leaving the lot. We highly recommend the McFarland Ford to anyone who wants prompt courteous service from and professional staff.Joe & Katie H.

Im writing to acknowledge Todd Bergeron for his excellent work as a service advisor. Ive been coming to McFarland Ford for many years and have received great service from past advisors, but Todd has consistently exceeded my expectations. Todd is always pleasant, very professional, and goes beyond whats required to assist customers. For example, this past Thursday, my son, Ed, and I were in with his 05 Focus (purchased there!) for an annual inspection. Ed travels from Bow to have his service performed at McFarland Ford namely because there is a deep sense of trust in Todd. The inspection revealed that the rear bumper support had deteriorated so badly that it had to be replaced. When Todd called with the news, he was able to propose a solution that would allow repair of the car while offering my son some real savings. I know Todd could have pushed for a more expensive solution, but he understood our plans with the Focus and worked around that which is what Ive come to expect of Todd.Todds excellent service has also been evidenced whenever Ive purchased tires or scheduled appointments for repairs. Ive had all my service needs taken care of by Todd not only for the 05 Focus, but for an 04 Taurus and 03 F 150. Hes always thorough in his research and provides several options for my consideration. When it comes to inspections, Todd is thorough in explaining the inspection results, advises what has to be repaired to obtain a sticker, and also identifies items that will require attention in the near future. My entire family has complete trust in Todds work and he is the reason we continue to return to McFarland Ford.

I worked with Cris Lane on making a decision on whether to wait for a 2014 or purchase a 2013 GT5.0/CS in stock - He was very helpful in showing me the plus side of getting the CS based on re-sale value of the cars and my cost. - Since after 2014 Mustang will be changing the appearance I purchased this car not only for now but as a investment. We were able to reach a price that worked for both of us and one I thought fair. He always followed up in a very timely manner either by e mail or phone. Basically if not for Cris I am do not think I would have purchased the car. Upon delivery Joanne was ready to take me through the car - When I arrived she had the plates removed from my old car and was waiting for me. That was really great since I was on a tight timeframe that day. She was a real pro at showing me sync and other features. She even volunteered to come to my house to set up the garage door opener - Now that is commitment and service. I am going to schedule a session for my wife with her and I am sure she will get the same results. Finally after driving the car for 3 days now, I can say it is on a par to my 2013 X3 BMW and as would be expected has a significant performance advantage - i guess the only downside is I will not be buying another Mustang Unless they revert back) since I am old school and love the present body style Great Job Ford and the McFarland Team Hats Off!!

I just purchased my second Ford F150 from this dealership. I traded in my older F150 and bought a new 2013 that was ordered about 8 weeks ago and arrived even faster than expected. I worked with Don Perry in service with my trade, and Francesco in the body shop. Both were a great help with my older F150, and Chris Lane helped me special order my 2013 F150 Lariat and gave me a fair price on my trade. Overall I am very happy with my 2nd F150 purchase at McFarland Ford. I would recommend this dealership.

McFarland did a great job to take care of us after learning about a very negative experience I had with another dealership. We purchased from the wholesale lot which sometimes can be a risky proposition but they were more than willing to let me take the vehicle to my mechanic to have it looked over prior to the purchase. They willingly submitted a credit application to my bank at my request instead of prior experience of being locked into the dealerships bank. I had brought my truck to this dealership in the past for service being the closest Ford dealership and am overall satisfied with the customer service received. I would recommend purchasing a car from this dealership.

How many times do I give them the benefit of the doubt? Ever since Frank Montmarquet left as service manager (he was the best) there has been a steady decline in service. One time the new service person added all these items to be done but it was $400 more than what another dealer (Portsmouth Ford) did the work for. I considered doing the work with McFarland but the last few times I had service I couldn't discern what was needed vs what was nice to have. You know when the service manager cares and I was feeling no comfort from a take-it-or-leave-it attitude of the current guy. I have patronized this dealership for over 20 years (4 Taurus wagons a Taurus sedan, a Focus and a Fusion). I had to get an oil change and transmission service today (Saturday 8:00am) so I thought it would be simple thing to give it another try. I called and asked for service. They sent me to voice mail. I called back and asked to be sent again to service and they said the guy in service was on the phone and asked if I wanted to leave a number for a call back. I went to Portsmouth Ford, drove in and they had two service managers welcoming me. They not only took care of the service but they did an alignment and did it immediately. McFarland Ford wasn't like this before. There has been a change and since Frank has left I am sad for this family business. In another event I suggested my son (who lives two hours away in RI) scheduled service only to get there and be told they didn't have the parts. He asked them to order them and for the following two weekends he drove back up to have the service done only to find that they hadn't ordered the parts! WOW! He gave them three opportunities. His third appointment was a Saturday. He came back up and found they still couldn't do it because they didn't do that kind of work on Saturdays. OMG! If you were trying to alienate a customer you couldn't have done a better job. I am disheartened and sad. Not only for my son but it is sad to see a family business fade. I grew up in a family business and I wring my hands over things like this. If I was the owner I would want to know about things like this. I just called trying to find the old service manager, Frank. I wanted to make sure I wan't missing something. They told me he was long gone and I guess I am too.

Purchased a used vehicle 8/31/12Over all a good vehicle. For some reason there was a squeaky noise under the vehicle.Yes very noticeable. We knew that we were purchasing the vehicle as is, but wanted to know what was causing the noise. The Service department said it was from the shocks. Nothing major.We ended up bring back the vehicle to have the e- brake adjusted as we had to pull all the way up for it to hold as the vehicle is a standard this is important.We were told that it met the specs and we ended up paying for them to adjust the break.Once again asked about the noise. We were told it was from the shocks.Called the next day and spoke to Todd who was very short with me. I'm sorry for bothering you Todd.We took the vehicle to another service department . The noise was from An unsecured break cable, swaybra links and front stablizer links.Happy to say that there is no noise now:) I called and spoke with the service manager today Don Perry. I went over everything with him and he could not believe that a break cable could cause noise, but could understand that a swaybra link could cause noise. I wanted to just let him know that we were not happy with his department. Its a busy place I understand that, but they pride themselves in taking care of their customers. Don was nice and just brushed me off nicely. I did explain that we would not using their service again. The dealer/Service Department that we took the vehicle was Clakr& White in Newton, Mass. I hate car shopping. There's always sleazy and shady guys trying to sell you something you don't want and something ridiculously overpriced. I've always been skeptic of shopping for a car in NH while living in MA. The whole sales tax thing, although easy enough, seemed like a hassle. I researched for 3 months and went to all kinds of dealerships during that time. I almost gave up. Then I expanded my search to NH. I am so glad I did. Macfarland Ford in Exeter had gorgeous cars (new and used) and completely smoked the competitions prices. I was so impressed by this company. I was NOT hassled. I was NOT pressured. I DID feel comfortable and they were 100% sincere and honest. I still feel like I stole the car. I can't believe the price and neither could my friends and family. They were at least $6k less right off the bat. The Ford Exp. El I bought was immaculate. That alone impressed me as I had a bad experience with a Chevy dealership that rolled out a car with bird crap all over it (not a good presentation as you can imagine). The entire staff at Macfarland were great. Nicest bunch of people I have ever met in the business. Honest and pleasant people. The car I bought was exactly what they advertised. No hidden tricks or scams. They made the whole MA to NH sales transition a seamless effort. It was easy. I can not say enough about this company except, WOW!!!!!! They have my business, guaranteed!, for life. This is an honest and sincere review. Try them out. You will NOT be disappointed. Thank you Tom and the rest of the Macfarland group. I am very happy. I had a wonderful buying experience at McFarland Ford. The whole staff was very attentive and helpful. They have made buying a car as fun of an experience as it should be. Please dont waste any time going to a gigantic dealer and get screwed over by some sort of robot of a sales person . Everyone there from the minute you walked through the door was friendly and never put on any kind of high pressure sales push. The pricing was great no need to even haggle I did my homework before starting to look and they were listed almost 1000 below what I was willing to haggle down to. The price on my trade was more than fair. The new car has been great and I will be sure to drive the little extra next time I am in the market for a new car. Thanks everyone!!!

I took a car (2007 BMW 335xi) out for a test drive and noticed a vibration coming from the rear end (I suspect a bent rim) and the car was also very hard to start. When I brought these issues up Tom responded, "thats it, we are done. We are not putting any more money into that car. We are already losing money." I never even had an opportunity to say whether or not I was willing to do anything and he went over to speak to Mark Ducharme. Mark wished me a Merry Christmas in a very sarcastically tone. I told them that they did not have to treat me like an a**hole and Mark responded, again sarcastically, "I was only wishing you a Merry Christmas". I told him that it sounded very sarcastic. I walked out to my car and Mark came running out after me and said, "and have a Happy New Year too." I did nothing other than not buy a car that had problems with it. This was not an inexpensive car, although it was at a very good price. Whether they lose money on a car or not is not my issue. They are professional and should know the value of a car when they take it in for trade and price it for sale. When you buy a used car from a new car dealer, regardless of the price, they are usually more than willing to repair anything that the customer notices. When this car sat for a couple of hours, it would turn over for 10 to 15 seconds before it would start. These cars are very expensive to work on and if they expect me to buy a car for $20,000 and then drive it to a BMW dealer and pay to have it repaired, then they have the wrong expectations. This experience has turned me off from ever going into their dealership for anything, including service on the Ford that I do own.

There is NO service anywhere compared to this dealership. They FOUGHT with ARI to get me new tires and may have saved my life; tires were bald and ARI refused to replace them twice but Dave refused to give up. Jason also had to support a tire change via ARI who resist the dealers requests. I have seen Service staff with other customers and they really care; ie sitting with the older customers in the waiting area to "Counsel" them on their car's problem. They know us by name. The sales guys are not pushy at all and respect boundaries. I would buy from them today if I needed a car. My car is always been a lease, for now, multiple vehicles since 2000. They are the best. They know my father and the mileage on his truck and appreciate the customers-Thank you Frank the Service Manager Nice Work. I wish i needed a Ford Fiesta because I would buy it just based on the Service Department. Thank you Jason for asking me about my new Escape. I have always come away feeling that the job was done right,therefore no worries.The staff at McFarlands are always friendly and ready to be of assistance.I really can't say enough about this dealership,they are great!

They keep me well informed on what needs immediate attention and what service can be delayed. The reason I give this recommendation is that I have always been treated right here. I purchased an new 2006 Ford Five Hundred and I have had every service done at this Dealership. I have over 265,000 mile in the car and it runs great. This is due to the quality work done here. The Staff is great to deal with,(they know me by first name).The mechanics all seem to know there stuff. If I had any problems they were always deal with to my satisfaction. I again recommend this Dealership Highly.

We went in to look at a Ford ranger. We had been given a quote online earlier. We were taken to the lot where the truck was and test drove the vehicle. We had all our questions answered and ended up purchasing the vehicle. The staff was friendly and responsive.

Whether buying a new car or returning for service, McFarland Ford always exceeds my expectations. For example, the sales staff always demonstrates a willingness to provide a competitive price on the sale of new vehicles. I don't think it's well known, but they will definitely beat the price of some of the dealers who claim to sell for less and with no frills. Just give McFarland the opportunity. The service staff is also very professional and completes all the required work on schedule and at a fair price. I've never felt that the service department is attempting to take advantage of their customers or is pushing their customers to have work completed that's not necessary. They're always helpful and honest - and as long as that continues - I plan on bringing my business to McFarland Ford.

I dont like the hassles of a long drawn out sales transaction. When I know what I like and what I can pay I dont want to be pressured or talked into the vehicle. I had already visited several other dealerships and received the typical sales pitches. The people I dealt this at McFarland were straight up and answered my questions quickly. We were able to come to a deal quickly and within my budget and for the vehicle I wanted. Some work needed to be done to the breaks which the service department did with no issues.

I'm very happy to have just ordered a 2012 Ford F-150 Ecoboost Lariat from McFarland Ford. I'm trading in a Toyota Tundra when it arrives. The Ford F-150 Ecoboost is by far the best full size truck out there and I did my research. These guys have been great. They understand that it is a big investment and treat you like a customer. I dealt with Chris and Mark and they treated me fair on both my trade and the new vehicle price. Sue McFarland introduced herself and also knew about my special order and took a genuine interest in getting me what I want. I would highly recommend going here versus the larger more impersonal dealerships. I also hear that their service department is the best in the area which is important.

McFarland Ford is the ONLY auto dealership that my family will deal with. Frank Montmarquet is an exceptional employee and McFarland Ford would be completely lost without him.I have always said that I would rather get all of my teeth pulled instead of purchasing a car. Just something that I always thought I hated to do: the drama, negotiating, etc. But when a friend referred us to McFarland years ago I went, with hesitation. I warned them that I was a hard nut to crack and the treated me with the respect that I, as well as any other consumer deserves. No butt kissing, just honest service. To date we have purchased 2 vehicles (we keep them for a long time because MF's service department is wonderful with preventative maintenance), my mom has purchased one vehicle and we have referred at least 15 people to them. We are all very happy and feel secure that they will always be there for us. Thank you Frank for always taking such good care of us. Your professionalism, knowledge and friendship are valued more than you will ever know.

I had been working with several volume dealers all over the east coast to try and find the best deal on the EXACT vehicle we wanted and always ended up having to compromise on one thing or another. I should have started with McFarland from the beginning; best price, best customer service, they bent over backward to get me into the perfect vehicle, and the family atmosphere made me feel like I was right at home. I just bought a new F150 from McFarland Ford. I was referred to McFarland Ford through an internet car pricing service and Chris Lane contacted me within hours of of the internet request being placed and started initial negotiations by email. We went back and forth on costs and trim levels many times before I went to the dealership. The level of detail Chris provided and his willingness to email me actual numbers and price quotes convinced me to go into the dealer and talk in person. Steve Briden took over the actual sale process once I went to the dealer and was very helpful in working through the different options available and all the other stuff that goes along with a vehicle sale. Both Steve and Chris were straight forward and helpful at all times. They made sure the sales process was transparent.The vehicle I wanted wasn't on the lot or available anywhere on the East coast so I ended up ordering the vehicle from Ford. After placing the order, I made modifications and added new options - forcing Steve to contact Ford and change the order several times. Each time he was patient and helpful. I am happy with the price we settled on and they gave me good value for my trade-in.I will certainly shop at McFarland for again.

My vehicle was serviced right away with no delay. All of my vehicle service concerns were addressed. My vehicle servicing was completed in a very reasonable period of time. I have high praise for the professionalism of my servicing agent, Mr. David True. I would definitely return to McFarland Ford again for future vehicle service, and I will continue to refer my friends to McFarland Ford for both sales and service.

My partner and I were looking for an affordable second car. We visited several local car dealerships in the Exeter-Stratham-Portsmouth area. I cannot say enough about the service at this particular dealership - far above and beyond any of the other local dealers. Let me give you an example: we went to Portsmouth Ford looking for a particular color Ford Fiesta. The salesman we were working with looked at us and said, "well, we've got black or silver, those are your options. Let me know which one you want." When I emailed Chris Lane and then when we visited the McFarland Exeter dealership, their response was: "We don't have one in the color you want, but we'll find it for you!" A couple of days later, we had the exact car we wanted, for the price we wanted (Portsmouth Ford was slightly cheaper, but McFarland Exeter Ford matched their price). I would recommend this dealership to anyone, and when we're ready to replace our older car, Exeter Ford will be our first stop!

McFarland Service is great. Take you in on short notice. They give you a complete estimate with cost before the job starts. Finish in a timely manner. And the car is fixed. They know what they are doing. If the repair is not worth it. Exceeds the value of the vehicle they let you know !! Price is always fair, better than the value car repair locations !!

MacFarland Ford is just a really great place to do busines. The coffee is always fresh, the people are wonderful, low key, not pushing and always helpful, even when I really am not thinking. I can be somewhat demanding in terms of when I need service as I have a very crazy work schedule and they always put up with me and take really good care of my truck. I love my truck and I feel safe with anything they do to it.

Service Dept is friendly, professional, and efficient. I am always treated respectfully and given a thorough explanation of all work performed and possible work needed in the future. The quality of the work is excellent. I have never had to bring my vehicle back for the same issue a second time. I often book my appointments online and appreciate that convenience. I always recommend the service dept to others and wouldn't consider taking my vehicles anywhere else. I own three Fords and have been a sales, service, and body shop customer for over 15 years.The Body Shop is also excellent to work with. I recently had a vehicle repaired after an accident. I was very pleased with the quality of the work and the time that it took to complete the repairs. I really appreciated the body shop calling me with updates on the status of my vehicle throughout the repair. They were honest and helpful.

I purchased a new 2010 F150 from Mcfarland Ford this past April. I can't say enough about the ownership / customer service. I went into many dealerships, including Portsmouth Ford, and McFarland blew them out of the water. Portsmouth couldn't have cared less about whether I bought or walked. McFarland had a staff of people who were knowledgeable, reasonable and not trying to shove something down my throat. Most of all they were just nice people who were willing to go out of their way to find answers for me. THey took care of all my financing and helping me build the custom truck I wanted. Great place. Will continue to keep going back.

Went there and had a nice salesperson. Cant remember his name. Anyway, nice guy, then I met the sales "manager" and I use that term loosely. What a jerk. He was rude condenscending and argumentative. WOuld not even look at my trade until I committed to purchasing his overpriced Ford. Told him I would not commit to anything and he walked away and I walked out, never to go back to that place again. Too bad that the salesman that I dealt with at the beginning has to have some idiot ruin a potential sale. But went out to another dealership, had a GREAt experience at Team Nissan in Manchester and bought a car there.

They had the exact car we wanted (Fusion Hybrid), patiently answered all our questions (and we had a lot, considering it's a hybrid), and let us go on a long test drive to really get a feel for the way the car drove. I have used this Ford Dealership for sales and service since 1986. Have always felt that we have been treated fairly. During that time we have purchased at least 12 cars and trucks, both new and used. The service department always seems to complete the repair the first time. I have not had to used the body shop yet, but would feel comfortable doing so should the need arise.

We have had a Great shopping experience for a new vehicle at McFarland Ford in Exeter, NH. The Salesman was just so friendly and jovial. Never once did we feel pressured at all. We went for a test drive and I even drove while my husband sat in the back. Tom explained a lot of the features of the vehicle. We have a Sirius Radio so one of Tom's first questions was what kind of music did I prefer. This vehicle was a demo used by Management so, we REALLY GOT a TERRIFIC BUY. But, there were not any mudflaps so we had them put on. The Service Dept was absolutely the best. Frankie, the Service Dept Manager, had the mudflaps ordered and on it no time at all. Everyone was just the friendliest. We soon began to feel like part of the McFarland Family. We would certainly recommend McFarland Ford to anyone, No Doubt About It. Just tell them Johnny and Diane sent you and I know you too will be as happy with McFarland Ford as we are.

After hearing some squeaking in my 2006 Toyota Tundra 4x4 V8, I took a look and found that I needed work on my serpentine belt. That same day I brought the truck to McFarland Ford where I receieved prompt attention, friendly service, a same-day repair. McFarland Ford did an excellent job repairing a friend's BMW this summer, so I decided to bring my truck there instead of my local Toyota dealer. I'll definitely return to McFarland Ford for service in the future. Thanks to Dave and Frank in the Service Department.
