We had a wonderful experience with McGrath Volvo in Barrington! Their entire service is very impressive!! We recently bought a used car at McGrath, our sales rep is Kevin, he's just phenomenal, patient, knowledgeable, tentative, very professional! The entire process, we felt very relax and comfortable, he never try to push for the sale. After closing the purchase, we had expressed some concerns of the car, Kevin even went beyond and scheduled a free service checkup for our car. I would highly recommend Kevin as your next sale rep at McGrath! I also want to take this opportunity to thank you finance manager Andrea! She's experience, efficient, and absolutely top notch person in finance industry! We closed out all the finance work within half hour, amazing!!

My appointment started out with confusion among the sales staff as to who was going to assist me. I was pleased to see that the car I was there to see was pulled from the lot and parked in the front of the building, that was a nice touch. However the car was not washed and I had trouble identifying any paint imperfections. It wasn't until after the deal was completed that the car was washed and I discovered a few issues with the paint, also the rims were in much worse condition then I initially observed. The windshield wipers were bare, which I discovered two days later while driving in a storm, I was put in a very dangerous situation. When we negotiated the price of the car, the salesperson informed me that McGrath is a no haggle dealership. I asked for a $150 discount for the few paint issues and they responded with a $128 discount, that's right a $22 difference. I don't think I was asking too much especially since I didn't haggle the list price, but apparently I was. I was satisfied with the fair deal on my trade. Also be prepared to be there a long time. The sale was done around 10am and for some reason I didn't get out of there until almost 2:00. If you go to McGrath, know that they do not negotiate their price, their finance offers are all over the place and you will be their a long time.

I had a wonderful experience at McGrath Volvo in Barrington. I must be honest, I have never purchased a vehicle from an actual dealer before. Alex and Josh both made everything very smooth and took care of me and my wife as soon as we walked in the door. The atmosphere is wonderful and the rest of the staff were very friendly and made us feel very comfortable with the deal we made. Shout out to David for jumping in and making sure the vehicle was cleaned and fueled up for delivery! Next time I purchase a vehicle I will certainly be going to McGrath Volvo first!
