Another great experience at McKie Lincoln to become a Lincoln household! The day after Thanksgiving, we went and test drove a Aviator and made the decision to buy one. We told Sean Antoon exactly what we wanted and he went to work on it. There was one in transit, so we put a deposit on it since it was the color we wanted and had everything we asked for. It was very similar to the Navigator we had bought earlier in the year, and we were anxious to get it. They finally got it checked out and Thursday morning we headed to Rapid City to get it. The process was very quick, with no adjustment to the trade-in value on our car, and Wayne in Finance zipped through the paperwork. We couldn't have asked for a better team to make buying our second Lincoln a breeze. From sales to service, we have never had a bad experience and appreciate that everyone there is very helpful.

I had the best car buying experience ever! I have always been a fan of McKie Ford's service department, Joe is awesome in that department. This was my first experience with the sales side though. Our salesman Dean was great! I had zero intentions of purchasing that day but I felt so comfortable with Dean that I knew it was the right time. We then moved on to the financing department, this is traditionally where you start to feel "sold" to. This was not the case at all, Wade, their Business Manager was great. Wade was very knowledgeable and laid out our options clearly. I didn't know that ford had so many great warranty options. I somehow walked away from the deal with a 7 year warranty! I can't say enough about my excellent buying experience! And I'm happy I still get to be taken care of by their stellar service center. Thanx McKie!

I can not explain say how amazing the team at McKie ford is. Jeff was an amazing sells man. He answered all of my questions and kept me up to date on everything. Jeff made me feel so comfortable that I was not worried about a thing. And the finance lady (I can not remember her name) was a true true blessing. She explained every document and protection plans, and also gave advice on how to build up our credit. Now this is where McKie ford really excelled. This is the best auto dealship. I have purchased vehicles from them in the past and always received great service. My latest purchase yesterday was completed by the sales representative Greg Woolridge, he was very helpful, professional, friendly, reviewed everything, knew everything about the vehicle, I or my son didn't have any questions and my son knows vehicles and mechanics so this says a lot about Gregs knowledge as it was excellent, had the carfax information without us asking, I had no questions as he did an excellent job, never pushy and stated he would not do that. He was very quick and efficient, sat and treated me, my son and his girlfriend like he knew us, visiting with us, laughing, making us laugh, I am never this comfortable with strangers but he was like someone I had always known. This was the best experience I have ever had purchasing a vehicle, he was excellent and an expert at what he does. A wonderful individual who I would request to do business with again. Wayde Walther the business manager was excellent, quick, so very friendly, I can say an expert in what he does, provided me with all information, I did not have any questions he provided everything/documentation, explained everthing to me and what was best, I was so pleased and assured with everything. Have to say all staff there were very friendly and hello to Leo again and also took time to chat and make us laugh, making us all feel so welcome. Excellent service, I will be back.

1 year ago I bought a F250 diesel from these good folks ! My salesman Corey did a great job in making absolutely sure I was happy!! So now here we are exactly 1 year later time to trade in my wife's Expedition! So naturally we go back to where we were treated so well, and made sure we were dealing with Corey again! We found a 2014 F150 my wife fell in love with and got the deal done! We were in and driving off in her new pickup pretty darn quick!! I don't have any complaints what so ever! So when I finally wear out my Diesel pickup, I'll be back to McKie Ford, finding Corey again and take off in another Ford pickup!!! When we are treated well at a business, we become loyal customers! While the 10,000 mile lube and tire change went well, I was disappointed at how my equipment warranty questions were addressed.I had called in for an appointment for my 10K check, but was told just bring it in and it will be done. I bought it in, and when I asked that several warranty issues be addressed,I was informed that I would have to make an appointment for that.

It was my first visit with our class A motor home to the new location. Derrick made the appointment and I assumed he was still right off Omaha St. I found the new McKie location (you still have the old address on this "letterhead!!")--but by then I was 15 min late--AND I went in at the wrong end of the lot--but everyone was polite and they helped me sort things out in terms of getting the RV signed in, etc.Nice location--hope the huge size of the new facility doesn't affect the quality of service.I have a Ford Owner Advantage membership (#135213654) but no one mentioned it, or indicated it on my receipt?? I bought a 2011 Taurus as a school car for my high school daughters (central HS). Tom Anderson and I have been friends since junior high school, he is someone I know to be honest and trustworthy, and have been talking to him about a used car for more than a year. I came into the dealership last week, still looking for the right used car. Tom reintroduced me to Pat Jones, salesman, whom I have also known since high school. Pat and I visited about what I was looking for, went through all the options, and narrowed it down to the Taurus and a Nissan. After test drives by my self, my wife and my daughters, we decided that the Taurus was too good to let go, my daughters were the tie breaking vote between a deadlock between my wife (NIssan) and myself (Taurus). Great dealership, beautiful facility, great staff, and my daughters loved the Pac Man video game, they had never seen one of these before.

Sale!an took me to the car I was after. It was still in detail. Started it, sounded good then test drove it. Had issues with missing while in drive. Claimed they repaired, drove again and it still had the same issue. Salesmasn told me, we that's what to expect with discount row cars, let's look at newer cars. No car should have a problem when you drive it off their lot. Will not recommend that particular sales rep.

A very powerful thunderstorm rolled through while I was at the dealership and while we were waiting for the weather to clear many members of the staff asked if I needed anything. I had my pickup in for an oil change and was disappointed to hear they do not check the transmission fluid when servicing an F150 after one of the service advisors told me they did. Then I also found they do not fill the windshield washer fluid either at that time, so basically I received less service from McKie Ford then I have been getting at Super Lube for the same amount of money. I specifically asked about the checking of the transmission fluid when I went to make an appointment with my service advisor, that's when I found that at the new location there was no appointment necessary, so imagine my surprise when I found out you don't check that when that was the main reason for taking it to the dealer. I would like to know why Ford would make this a dealer only check when the dealer wont check it. The reason I wanted it checked I had the fluid changed at the old location a few months earlier and the transmission was acting funny and I wanted it checked for my own piece of mind, thanks for letting me talk but you have some improvements to make before you gain my trust again, I trusted you before and was let down I was hoping things were different now, I have bought 3 new not used pickups from you since 2002 and was going to buy a Fusion for my wife but I may reconsider that purchase until I get trust back. Don't get me wrong the kid that took care of me treated me very well and for the oil change I'm sure it was fine.

I have a CMAX. The new oil change and tire rotation lanes are AWESOME. In & Out. Love it. Chris in Service is fantastic. Always so happy and johnny on the spot! Love his attitude! The Sales Dept. cannot be equaled to in vehicle knowledge. No smoke and mirrors, no stretching the truth. In fact, my car gets way better mpg than they (which i know comes from factory) even claim. If they don't know the answer, they look it up instead of guessing. Very impressive. Very professional, from attire to attitude.

My husband David and I stopped in to car shop a couple weeks ago and had the experience of a lifetime. Greg Woolridge was our sales person and his knowledge not only in sales but in the workings of the car we purchased is such an asset to your team. His winning personality and wit made purchasing a Dodge Nitro a wonderful experience. There was an issue with the car heater not working right and Greg took great care of us in referring us to Stephen Hickens. My interactions with Stephen made a frustrating experience work as smooth as butter on bread. He took time to show my husband the part that malfunctioned and was removed. You have an incredible service manager on your hands as Im sure you know. Derrick Krause took time to talk with my husband David and arragned an appointment for him to bring in his Ford F150 that had been in a roll over accident and has been repaired. This appointment to our surprise is being done as a courtesy that is provided by your dealership. And last but not least there is Matt Hackett. He approved our sale, approved the work to be done on the Nitro not only once but twice! And made his way across the showroom to introduce himself to us going out of his way to welcome us and make us feel like family. I sit here and shake my head that such respect and a warm welcome was shown in this day and age. You have a stellar group of employees that have made a powerful impact on my husband and I.

Short & Sweet; We bought a 2003 Silverado on Jan 22 and discovered that the emergency brake cable was disconnected while test driving it. We decided to purchase the truck and ask the salesman to have the maintenance department reconnected the cable. We brought the truck in on the 26th to have the work done. They could have just reconnected the cable and sent us on our way, but instead, they tested the system and found that the emergency brake "system" needed to be replaced. Although the repair took 5 hours to accomplish, our pickup now has a new E brake system. You can bet we will be back when looking for another car or truck. Thank you Steven Hickens for getting that work done for us. We feel a lot safer knowing that brake will work!

When I was finally able to get to the dealership on Friday, Corey had all the paperwork completed to go over the lease I was looking for which was very helpful. We were visiting in Rapid City when our Lincoln MKS would not start. The electrical system was doing several really weird things. It was a Saturday afternoon and after finally getting the car to start I drove to Mckie to see if the problem might be a battery in the key. The person in the service department took the key and replaced the battery. We went to start the car which did start but was hesitant. Thought might be the car battery. Got the car in right away and the battery was indeed bad so was replaced. All was covered by warranty and even got a car wash out of the deal. Everyone was pleasant which really helped since I had to give up a couple hours of time from a very rare trip to Rapid City.

Hello, my name is Kathrine. The friends I have been living with, have recommended me this dealership. They have bought three used vehicles through McKIE Ford and have never encountered any problems or inconveniences. One of those vehicles happened to be a Santa FE that they had for a few years, and those facets have definitely led me to be more trusting towards the dealership and the vehicle I was interested in. Both the service and the staff were helpful; I am especially grateful to have been assisted by Wayne Rider. I am not an experienced driver and this was my first time financing a vehicle and he has definitely guided myself through all aspects in regards to making this decision. For me, it's crucial that I don't get pushed and/or rushed into something I'm not knowledgeable about or quite sure if it's the right thing to do. I thought the vehicle was amazing judging by the looks and mechanical aspects online but boy, it certainly was calling my name, once I saw it parked at the McKIE Ford dealership. From that point onward, I knew it was destiny. I have never made such an easy going, comfortable, and convenient commitment. Not only would I recommend this dealership, but also the individual who showed a great deal of - assistance, patience, flexibility, and honesty. It's always nice to see a person who remains genuine despite of his/her job. He didn't play the role of the cheesy dealership guy who was stretching his Hollywood smile, but rather someone who is just another person like you and me. It felt as if I were communicating with a friend who can relate to me and my situation rather than a person who only cared about his sales. I own a 2013 Ford Escape that I bought in Virginia. I moved to Rapid City in May of last year. I was having a few issues with my Escape and it was due for its 25,000 mile checkup. The transmission service was a warranty service and it was great. The key replacement because the one we have stopped working for the powerlocks and alarm is frustrating. We were told the key was bad with an electrical shortage so a new $235 key was programmed, but the tech told us that as soon as the new key was programmed the old key started working again. Seems to me that old key was never bad to begin with but need a better technical review, would have saved us $200. Now we have a second key which is nice but it was never necessary to begin with. Hi....went through the "speedy-line" for oil service on my MKX.....usually the technicians leave a new "oil change reminder" in the windshield and re-set the oil life information to %100 in the electronic info under system checks......neither was done.............

I found the shopping and buying experience at McKie to be very pleasant. The sales consultant (Erika) was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. She was willing to spent as much time as I needed to look at several vehicles and talk about the features and options. The service dept staff are professional, courteous, and informative. The reason I would not be inclined to recommend the Ford dealership to friends/family is that I've discovered, after the fact, that the car I own is prone to mechanical problems. My father use to swear by Fords, but even he would be less than enthusiastic about the product Ford is building now. I will not be buying another Ford, but the service guys are great.

I called back and was put in touch with Cory T. I did not plan on buying a car that day. I told Cory what my needs were. He listened and worked out what I considered to be a very fair deal. What an amazing experience at the McKie Service Department. My son's truck broke down a week before leaving out of state for a family Thanksgiving. He went to another mechanic in town and was given a quote of $1900 and was told he needed a computer part. My son contacted McKie for a second opinion and was booked til 11/30 which meant he would miss Thanksgiving with his family. He has been stationed overseas for 3 years and has missed every holiday during that time. I contacted the Service Manager, John Baskerville and asked to see if anything could be done. So I gave him the information and he asked if he could call me back in a few minutes which he did and we came up with a plan. He asked to have the truck brought in the following morning so they could run a diagnostic on it. Come to find out that it was not a bad computer part but a bad coil which they replaced. The final cost was $130 and my son can now make it home for a long overdue family Thanksgiving. John - thank you so much for everything that you and your staff did for my son. You certainly have earned a customer for life. Your service department is one that can be trusted and counted on.

My sales consultant, Wayne Ryder, was very polite and made sure I was taken care of well. He was very good about explaining the process. I have 20 years of consumer lending experience including dealer loans so am very aware of the process, values, etc. I did not appreciate that the finance manager had Wayne ask me if I wanted to lease instead. I am a professional business woman and had my loan officer approve my deal over the phone that Saturday. I was aware to get the best rate, the loan had to be done within the credit union. When I write a check it's good as I am a VP there and had presented my business card. The lease offer was not Wayne's fault but was insulting and discriminating. Shame on your finance area. My vehicle is getting noticed by others and is selling itself. As a professional in the finance business, my opinion and recommendation are well respected. I will direct more business to Wayne. I hope your finance manager will not be so quick to assume a woman needs to lease with a lesser payment! The women I know do very well and some would just go elsewhere!

I was a little disappointed when I brought my car (2012 focus) in for a transmission recall. Ford knew what I was bringing the car in for and I had to bring the car back a second time because McKie did not have the clutch plate on hand the first time. It might not seem like a big deal but I live an hour and a half away from Rapid City. A lay-person would think that parts would be on hand when it is a recall issue. Also, since having the work done I now have a noise/rattle coming from the passenger side of the engine compartment. It sounds like a loose cover, dust plate or something like that. The guys at the check in desk were great, no messing around and explained what was going on and answer questions I had.

Was interested in a car for my mother who lived out of state. I found a car but we could not negotiate without having her vehicle on site to determine the trade in value. We made arrangements that my mother could be on site with her vehicle later in the afternoon. She lived over three hours away. They called her later that day to confirm she was still coming which she was. We arrived at the dealership 15 mins early. They asked for her car keys so they could inspect her car while we test drove their car. We were satisfied with the car and went in to negotiate a deal. It was at that time the manager informed us the car was not available and that it had been SOLD. We explained that my mother had just driven 3 hours to buy this car. The manager's response as he was smiling was 'that's business' that if we wanted the car we should have bought it in the morning which we couldn't because they needed to see her car first to establish the trade in value. He then said if we were upset go complain to the buyers of the car. So beware potential buyers when working with Mckie Ford of Rapid City its 'Just Business' to them.

I just happened to be in town for a kid's soccer tournament and decided to look at a Ford F-150 in between games. I had previously had my mind made up that I was going to buy a GMC 2500HD Denali with a Duramax diesel, the following weekend. McKie had an F150 in the color combination that I was interested in so I decided to check it out and take it for a test drive just for comparison sake. I immediately changed my mind while test driving the truck. The 3.5L EcoBoost was sporty and fun to drive, the Platinum package had all of the amenities that I could imagine, and the ride was very comfortable. With the dealership's top notch customer service... I ended up buying the truck. The salesperson and entire staff were all extremely pleasant and easy to work with. Chuck was a very knowledgeable and low pressure salesperson. It was truly a no hassle deal.

Was sorta disappointed when I was told the mud flaps that I was told when I set up the appointment could be installed no problem - but when I show up that may not be the case. After 2 hours the mudflaps and the satellite radio problem were finished up and so far no problems.

The dealership was VERY busy! We did not have to wait to get a key to see the inside of vehicles. Our sales person searched vehicles in a storage area a couple blocks away to try to get us what we wanted. We love the 0% 72 months and went with a 2015 Ford Escape instead of a 2016 model. The manager was willing to deal (a little) for a lower price. Everyone in the office was helpful especially the business person who knew we were tired of 5 hours of searching/waiting.

On vacation, 2010 Focus, strange sound in front end. Joe (service manager) informed us they worked on an appointment system but would try to get it cared for, 15 minutes later he came into the waiting room and informed us the half shaft was bad. They did not have one in stock but could get one from NAPA but without a warranty, I told him no problem and asked if he could get us to restaurant, they accommodated us. Purch'd a 2014 MKZ in 2014. Really enjoy. McKie Dealership in Rapid City has been super providing service. The service tech. I work with for lining everything is Joe and he is a super guy to lining everything up. We have one issue with Lincoln and that is the doors do not seal well at all. We just really do not entering the car with good clothes on and have to possibly wipe seats off first. That is one issue we have shared with others. Is we produced a defective beef critter on the ranch and sold as a quality animal with no defects we'd be held accountable or at the very least provide replacement.So to vent - however it is frustrating.

They got my truck in at the scheduled time for a oil change and fuel filters ,I told the service writer I have a few electronic issues and needed to set up a 2 nd appointment .they never asked when I would like to have it repaired. In the waiting room a service writer asked another customer if he wanted his vehicle washed since he had a Lincoln ? They never asked if I would like a wash .I guess a 38thousand dollar truck doesn't qualify for a wash or vaccum . after the service tech left grease hand prints on the hood and bumper I have always taken my vehicle's to Ford for Service I guess you don't take this as customer loyalty .I could of went to jiffy lube and had better service.

A little frustrated. My wife takes the car for an oil change and shortly there after her key fob stops working and we receive a snailmail letter telling us our book value for a trade-in. She then called and took the keyfob down and had a battery replaced but it still doesn't work.

The "check engine" light came on in the dash on my 2015 F-350 that I purchased about a year ago from McKie's. I stopped in to see Derrick in Service, and he got me in right away....in less than an hour, I was on my way with a replaced sensor in the exhaust system. Really fantastic service! The service team under Derrick is excellent and efficient....great customer service!

My daughter and I were travelling back to Canada and had some car trouble resulting in a stop in Rapid City. We dealt with Joe at McKie Ford. Although we didn't have an appointment, he was kind enough to fit us in. He diagnosed the problem quickly and was straight forward and honest. He understood that we needed to get back on the road as quickly as possible and didn't try to sell us parts we didn't need. This dealership I consider a throwback to the 'good old days'. They are honest, knowledgeable, and treat you right. I always have them change my oil, and do all my service work. They do it right the first time. My service advisor, Joe S., keeps on top of what the vehicle needs and when. When it comes to service, these folks know their job!

I was in Rapid City with a friend for the morning and a few days previously my vehicle would not start due to ignition problems. It was an older vehicle 1999. I decided that I needed to find another. We stopped at another dealership but was unsuccessful to find a vehicle that met my needs. I had been months previously on the internet looking at McKie Ford and was emailing with salesman,Tom Anderson. I decided we should stop to see if he was available. The sales people were very friendly and courteous. The facility was very clean and inviting. I asked for Tom Anderson and I was shown where he was and was offered a seat and asked if I would like something to drink, coffee or water. I was told that he would be with me as soon as he could cause he was finishing up with another customer. I waited just a short time. Tom was friendly and listened attentively while I told him my circumstances and read the list of things I needed in my next vehicle and why I needed them. I wear a knee brace and hearing aides. So certain requirements were a must. I noticed while I explained he was writing which I liked because it gave me confidence that he was listening and making sure he would not forget what my needs were. Normally through this type of process I am usually pretty nervous but this time I was not and through the financial part of this everyone worked real hard to meet my needs on this also. Since it was Saturday afternoon and most financial facilities were not open we proceeded to finish up on Monday. By Tuesday I had myself a wonderful Mercury Milan with everything that I needed and a wonderful price which meets my budget. I love my Mercury and my experience at McKie Ford and will recommend Tom Anderson and McKie Ford to everyone I see and talk to. I have gotten wonderful complements on my car and they all love the color. I Will return to McKie Ford and everyone I dealt with I recommend them highly.

I had just pulled into Rapid City on a Saturday morning at about 10:30 am when my brake light came on and suddenly I had almost no brake pressure and was 180 miles from home. In an instant, I decided to take my car to Mckie Ford. I had just enough brakes to get to the dealership and went in and talked to Joe Sullivan, who said he would do his very best to get the car fixed before they closed at 2pm. If it had not been for the excellent services and communcation by Joe and their mechanic Mark, I would have been stuck in town until at least Monday, having to get a hotel room for a couple nights, having no real transportation available to go anywhere, other than my own two feet or a taxi and would have probably had to burn a vacation day. Joe and Mike were able to get my car fixed and back on the road by 1pm. They made me feel like a real priority and I greatly appreciated it! Great Service!

went for an oil change on my Ford Transit van. Service attendant was Joe S. and he walked me through the whole way. I usually change my own oil but do to lack of time I went here and had Mckie do it for me and I was pleased.

Brian Gill worked diligently to help us secure the car desired for the best price possible. He was very patient with us and answered all our questions. This doesn't happen very often however feel we established a new friendship through the process of purchasing a car. Love our MKZ Hybrid. We were looking for a car that offered very good MPG. Felt the MKZ offered that and it has proven itself quite well already. Noticed that Premium fuel is the best selection for the best mileage. Already averaging 40+ to 60 MPG in town. Highway mpg at 70 - 75 mph is averaging 40 to 44 at this point. It has been expressed that after 5000 miles the car will begin to show it's true colors.The amenities of the MKZ are very enjoyable plus it is comfortable. Have comments several times that it feels like sitting in a cockpit. Enjoy being able to perform so many tasks just by talking. Allows you to concentrate on driving vs looking for the control button to push. Previously had enjoyed a heated steering wheel. This car does not have that amenity and quite possibly doesn't need it. The air circulation of heat is very good keeping my hands quite comfortable.

My 94 year old father bought a certified pre owned in Oct..turned out the windshield leaked took it in to find it was not under warranty --not a Ford windshield dealership did not disclose this information and would not stand behind it...this took more than 2 months with messages by phone not returned..Black eye--sales person--sales manager and dealership..Guess one should take the advice on the billboard on Omaha __ "Test drive the dealership first ' old man has 12 grandchildren and 27 great grand children all adult age--five have bought new cars (all Fords) but not at Mckie guess they already were aware of this kind of thing...Goodby McKie for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We visited with Tom Anderson about buying a new F150. He showed us 3 styles and we picked an FX4 and are very happy with the speed he got us through and the courtesy he offered. We were able to drive it home Thursday night before the blizzard hit us.

ON JULY 29, 2013 I WAS IN RAPID CITY AREA AND FOUND AN URGENT NEED TO HAVE MY NEW 2013 FORD VEHICLE REPAIRED. I DISCOVERED A PROBLEM THAT HAD TO BE TAKEN CARE OF IMMEDIATELY AND COULD NOT DRIVE OUT OF TOWN. I GOT IN LINE AT MCKIE FORD AT 7:30 AM AND WAS TOLD THEY WORKED BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. I EXPLAINED MY SITUATION, I WAS ON THE ROAD AND DID NOT KNOW THIS WAS GOING TO OCCUR. RYAN AGAIN SAID THEY WORK BY APPOINTMENT ONLY AND EVERYONE IN LINE HAD AN APPOINTMENT AND HE COULD NOT HELP ME. I HAD NO OTHER CHOICE BUT GO TO A SERVICE /REPAIR GARAGE AND HAVE MY PROBLEM TAKEN CARE OF. WHEN I GOT HOME MY DEALER CREDITED ME FOR ALL MY COSTS. Our truck was towed Friday Aug 9 from Keystone,SD, at the end of the Sturgis motorcycle rally we were attending. When we arrived at Mckie ford about 11:30 am, they were having a grill out for the employees and no one knew where our tow truck driver should put the truck down at. We had previously spoke to Ryan B. and told him we lived 600 miles away and was there any way our truck could be looked at that day or on Saturday morning. He said the earliest appointment we could have would be late Monday afternoon. After Ryan was done eating lunch and we finally met him in the service area, we again asked 2 times if there was any way they could check the truck since we lived 600 miles away. No again was the answer. He gave us names of companies we could rent a truck from to haul our motorcycle home with, since we could not stay until probably Tuesday. We rented a truck and drove 600 miles home that day. The very next morning (Saturday) he called that they got ahead and would have our truck done by noon. We would have never left South Dakota, if there had been a chance they were going to work on it. When we returned on Friday Aug 16 after driving 600 miles back, we spoke to John Baskerville (Ryans dad). He said we had already met on the previous Friday. I said no we did not. As we were walking out on Friday Aug 9, he was walking in and said hows it going. I said terrible and kept walking. A good service manager would have asked what he could do to help, he did not. He just could not understand why we were upset. He said well you got your truck done 2 days before it was even scheduled to be looked at. We have never had service like this before. We did not even receive an apology for the inconvenience. The rental and additional gas costs us an extra $1000, because they do not know how to shedule their customers.

Was not looking for a used truck to buy that day but found it. Overall it was a good time dealing with them, only gave them a good on customer service because I felt kind of like they wanted to sell you the car but that is all that mattered, not real one on one friendly. Also I understand that you buy some as is, but I am sure they knew that the window switch did not work and could have informed me so I would not have put it down, or offered to give me the switch to fix it myself but who would expect to put the window down and have to go find a switch so you could put it back up right away. simple fix for me but what about someone who did not know what to do. I got it back up and still have not gotten it replaced but will. The process is smoth, they stay in contact with you throughout and after the sale. The only pitfall I found was that once the sale was over you were nobody to them and it was almost to the point of arrigant. Would I do business with them again, for the right car yes maybe, at least I know not to expect much other than the sale. Overall quility of the truck real real good, so one little fix on there part would not have hurt them a bit. Did not have service done so did not rate it, but have had service done there in the past and I can pay less and find better service in town rather than deal with that service department not that good needs lots of work. I am going to say yes to would I recommend this dealer to a friend just because you do not have a check for maybe, and I would warn them not to worry about the attitude just look at the quility of the car.

Mckie Ford's service department did a poor job in finding out what was wrong with my car. They fixed what was part of the problem and did not bother to find out why my car was still driving sluggish. A month later I'm back at another dealership, who takes the time to find out what's wrong, Turns out what was really wrong with my car is what was directly affecting the repair that McKie Ford did. McKie Ford refused to refund me anything for the parts and labor I was charged by the other dealership. My whole experience with them was terrible. I really believe that if I had a man with me when I brought my car in, they would have done a good job.

I brought my vehicle in to McKie Ford, Ryan Baskerville was my service tech, I told him that my check engine light had come on, that my car had made a poping sound and started to drive slugish. I also told him that my vehicle had did the same thing a few months prior and I had taken my vehicle into Black Hills Auto Repair. Ryan said that he would do a diagnosis and fix my vehicle. I got a call to pick my vehicle up, it still seemed to drive sluggish, but I didn't know any better. I was charged around $400+ dollars. About a month later, I hear the same poping sound and my vehicle starts to drive even more sluggish. This time I take it into Sanderson Ford. Sanderson Ford's dealership charged $118.00 an hour. I was in contact with Sanderson Ford and they had replaced the same spark plug that McKie Ford had replaced. Although, my service rep there said after he replaced the blown spark plug he drove the vehicle around and it still seemed sluggish. He continued to do more diagnosis and found that the wiring in the #6 cylinder needed to be repaired. My bill with them was around $380.00 I contacted McKie Ford to discuss getting reimbursed for the labor and parts fee for the spark plug. I spoke with the director of the service department (John Baskerville) who happens to be related to my service rep. He did an "investigation" and found in favor of his company. Go figure. My wife and I are not historically Ford buyers. We wanted to buy American and did not want to support the UAW and/or foreign businesses. We went to the Fathers Day auto show at the civic center to investigate. We met our sales person, Sian Pickett. Sian took all the time necessary to show us the different models and their features. Sian demonstrated his superb knowledge of the product that he sells in a very professional way. There was never any feeling of pressure or being rushed, just total support. We decided on a new F150 pickup and a Lincoln MKT. We are very pleased with our purchases and look forward to a long relationship with McKie Ford. Sian is a model salesperson and is to be commended.

When my wife and I stopped by McKie Ford, we were looking for a really good used truck or a new one. Mark Kampfe met us at the door all smiles and ready to help us shop. We looked at a few used Fords and he made a recommendation that with the sales incentives on the new Fords it might not cost us very much more to drive home a brand new one. We test drove a 2013 F-150 and really liked it. Before we new it, we settled on the price difference between the new Ford and the 2004 Chevy truck I traded in. Everyone at McKie Ford did an excellent job in the going through the process of trading trucks. I want to thank Mark for everything during the process. Everyone acted in a very professional matter. I have been dealing with McKie Ford since 1979, when I purchased my first Mustang, and then left for overseas. Since that time I have purchased two VW's (when they had the franchise), an Audi 5000, and several Mustangs, to include a Cobra, as well as an Escort GT. These purchases were all made while stationed here during different periods of time. I purchased a 2011 Mustang from them, and just traded that for a 2013 Ford Taurus SHO. I am completely satisfied with the deal. The car is great and I am enjoying every moment I have reading and becoming familiar with all the electronics. The service department (Ryan B.) and the techs did a great job maintaining my Mustang, and that was one major reason I decided to stay with Ford and McKie.

We have bought a couple of cars at this dealership, all of them with the same salesperson. The first car we bought, I thought we got a good deal--this was a used car that we specifically asked for, and they called us on when they got it. The second was a new car that we wanted a certain model. When we called, they said they had it, so we went in. When we got there, they said they DID NOT have it at all. They 'found' it for us, but said we had to pay an extra $700 to get it transported here, because they claimed they had to have someone drive it. When we asked where it was coming from, they were very vague, and we wanted the car so we stupidly went along. We got the car delivered with a total of 42 miles on it...so they either turned back the odometer or charged us $700 to drive it less than 30 miles from the nearest dealership. We were not able to pick color or amenities that we would have liked. Also, when we took the car in for one of our 'free' oil changes, they put regular oil in, when the book recommended synthetic, and we ended up losing 5 miles per gallon over that deal, so not even good for the supposedly 'free' oil change. So, understandably, I was a little nervous when we wanted to trade our last purchase in for a model that had all we wanted on it. First the sales man said we could 'order' the car we wanted, no problem, and even no money down (we already had financing arranged). He even took our order. However, the next day another sales man called and said no, we would have to put $500 up front to have the car ordered, and it would be a 90 day wait. They wanted to sell us a car with all the bells and whistles on it, things that we didn't really want, and they were going to pay 'part' or 'all' of our taxes if we bought the more expensive car that they had on the lot instead of ordering what we wanted. My husband spent a day or two haggling with them, then finally DID agree to pay what they wanted for the more expensive vehicle. He wrote down the price they agreed on, and told them to send it to the bank. Well, they did send it to the bank, and it was $1500 MORE than they had agreed on! Even the bank questioned the numbers. At that point, I did a little more research and found the same car at a different dealership about 275 miles away. In fact, it was not even a LITTLE cheaper, it was over $9000 cheaper. We drove out there, got the car with no hassle, and even got an extended service contract and some clear coating on the front end, and still ended up paying less. Meanwhile, I have had no less than 5 friends who have had the same type of experience at McKie in the past 4 months, and they have spread the word. I am not sure if they have a new idea of doing business or if they think we were too stupid to understand how they do business, but I would guess the second option is probably true. From now on, I will be looking around. I would way rather drive a while to get a better deal than to mess with these folks, who think they can do what they want because they are the 'only game in town.' I am serious, they have lost a lot of business over the past several months, just from people I know, one of my friends husband used to be a car salesman, and even he went elsewhere!!!!! He could see through them! My recommendation is to SEARCH THE INTERNET, LOOK AROUND THE STATE AND SURROUNDING AREA. I bet you are going to get a better deal, even if you have to drive. And if you are looking for someone who is GREAT to deal with, check out Vern EideFord in Mitchell.......really top notch!!!1

I found the salesmen at McKie to be helpful, friendly, and most importantly NOT pushy! They were willing to give me informatin on cars, keep me updated on inventory, and test drive many vehicles without the pressure to buy right away.

I bought a new Lincoln MKZ. The vehicle is loaded with a ton of technology. Ole took over an hour to explain to me the features of the car and to set up my phone and other voice commands with me. Than, about three months after I had the vehicle, he invited me to come back to see what technology I was using and once again explained to me the stuff I wasn't using. Very helpful!
