Through my experience I worked with Jay Rose (salesman), Oliver Souris(GM) and John Gasglow( business manager). Being only 23 and buying my first car I was worried and confused! Jay really helped me in understanding everything I needed to know and even reached out to my parents for me so that my family could be involve in the process. Jay was very patient with me and helped find just what I was looking for in a used 2013 GLK. He knew I was nervous about purchasing a "new to me" used car and I was very picky about the color of the exterior and the interior. He was able to find a car with all of my wishlist items checked off! He even found one with very few miles which was an extra bonus. Jay showed me around the entire office and took me back into the service department. He made sure to introduce me to the service manager as well. This is my first Mercedes and I must say that I was amazed with the white glove treatment I received from everyone at Baker. I am thrilled that I will be able to have my car serviced in Mt. Pleasant and that they will give me a loaner car if they need to keep my car for an extended time. I just love all of the features on my GLK! Be sure to ask for Jay Rose when you visit Baker Mercedes in Mt. Pleasant or West Ashley! :)

I have known Jay Rose for over 5 years. He is without question the best salesman, and an extremely valuable asset to Baker Mercedes Benz. I bought a CLS 550 AMG package in 2011 from Jay. I was originally going to buy an E350 but after crunching some numbers with Jay I ended up with the CLS and a smile. Jay makes things work. He is always available, in fact I believe he has answered my calls from home. He had suggested I add the wheels and rims package and after scraping a rim on a Charleston curb I took the car to Baker Mercedes service. The advisor (who is no longer with Baker) told me I would have to make an appointment for an insurance adjuster to come and inspect the car. I told him I had wheels and rims protection but he was of no help. I walked into the showroom where Jay greeted me by name and asked what he could do for me. I told him my issue and he marched into the service area and had a talk with the service advisor and 2 hours later the rim was fixed and I was back on the road. Two weeks ago I decided it was time to update my Mercedes and get a new CLS 400 AMG package. I went to the new Mercedes Benz dealership in Mt. Pleasant. Jay greeted me warmly and over the next 2 hours we built the car that I wanted. One of the many things I like about Jay is hes not pushy and gently offers his opinion on what your ideas for the car are. If he thinks youve made a poor choice he will recommend an alternative and most times hes right. I think the three words I would use to describe Jay are accessibility, reliability and professionalism. My car was ready exactly when he told me it would be, and he kept me constantly informed going so far as to send me pictures of the car being built to make sure everything was to my liking. In short, if you buy a car from Jay you can count on him to follow up with you and resolve any issue. I love Mercedes Benz and cant conceive of buying one from anyone but Jay. checked their online inventory, called to verify they had the car I wanted still in stock and got quick, honest, and accurate information. Test drove the car and purchased it that afternoon. Everyone at dealership was friendly and helpful. They did not do the usual time consuming run around of having us sit and go back and forth repeatedly to work out deal. We found a vehicle on cars.com that was located over 100 miles away. We called and the salesman that answerd the phone told us the car was still on the lot and provided directions on how to get there. We were personally greeted by him upon arrival and he patiently waited while we checked every nook and cranny of the car. We never felt rushed or that we were taking to long to look it over. We took the car for a ride and decided to make an offer. The process was easy, they were fair and reasonable. During the time we were working with the sales team to finalize the deal, other members of the company came up, introduced themselves, shook our hands. In short order we were signing the papers and heading home. They even filled our tank with gas for the long ride home and called to ask how the vehicle performed a day or two later. Courtsey, Kind, Professional - this dealership is a class act.

When it comes to buying a car, my experience was as easy as it gets. There were no pushing sales people anywhere in sight! I was giving a fair deal on my vehicle and everyone was happy. When I initially visited the lot it was closed but Daniel Vacca was there working on paperwork. He came out assisted me with all my questions and concerns. He was very knowledgeable. After my return to purchase he was there and once again stayed after hours with the salesman to get the paperwork together for the purchase. Each time I came to the lot it was late. On the day of delivery once again I held Lee the financial manager there after hours. Through each trip time wasn't an essence my concerns and wishes were priority. I will recommend anyone to Baker of Mt. Pleasant.
