This was EASILY the best experience I've ever had buying a car! I typically have a great experience with Mercedes. The staff is always very genial and helpful. This experience on 9/17/21 was different and disappointing. I dropped my vehicle off for B service and received the typical “recommendation services text” I accepted and said I wanted to proceed. This included spark plugs replaced, air filter, and automatic transmission service. Altogether this was $1810 with 1100 being in labor alone. I went to pick my vehicle up that day and received it back with the transmission light on. It was time for the service area to close so the employees bounced me from one person to the other as they were heading out the door. Meanwhile I have no other transportation and it’s just my 2 young children and I. I asked Patrick if a loaner was available he stated there were none available he would reach out to the individuals that serviced the vehicle and asked could I leave the vehicle or bring it back next day & he left. I decided I would bring it back since I had my children and no other transportation. As I get into the car and put the car into drive I realize it’s shaking really badly and that I didn’t want to risk driving the car not knowing what would happen or what was wrong. I went back in and a nice man named Joey from sales took down my information and immediately provided me with a loaner without me even asking. (Which was shocking since I was told there were none). The next day which was Saturday I receive a message saying my vehicle is ready I go pick it up and about smile down the road it’s shaking and check engine light was back on. I called the dealership dropped my car back off and got the loaner back. My issue with this is after immediately getting into the vehicle both times I noticed it within mins. Why didn’t the tech? With $1100 in labor this should have been noticed yet it happened twice. I wasn’t offered any type of discount. I emailed the GM and service managers. Now prior to me bringing my vehicle in luckily I have never had any problems with my car and have never seen any light on in my dash besides a tire pressure light. The experience was frustrating and inconvenient.

Some experiences simply must be shared!  By way of context, I recently traded in my BMW for a Mercedes.  My experience with the BMW dealer left much to be desired, which had me distrustful of luxury dealerships in general.  Patrick Thompson has changed my opinion.  I've had the car in for a couple of services now.  Patrick is attentive, knowledgeable, personable and professional.  My interactions with him and the work performed by Mercedes Benz of Richmond have me optimistic that a positive and mutually beneficial relationship with a dealership is possible.  I'm impressed by the quality of work, the level of service and the amenities provided.  Most importantly, I'm impressed by the personal attention that I have received from Patrick!  I believe that he has my interests in mind and that he values a relationship as opposed to the profit of a single transaction.  If this is what I can expect from Mercedes Benz of Richmond, I'm a Mercedes guy now.

I miss Craig Johnson, but I think you have a winner in Logan Bunger. The estimated three hour service ended up being a two hour service and I appreciate that, but I'm concerned that MOR no longer uses Mobil 1, but instead uses a house brand. Knowing that most high end German car makers only recommended Mobil 1 (Porsches come with a case in the trunk) I don't think this is a good way to save a few dollars.The service is always good and the staff is extrembly professional,so I have no complaints about the service experience. The expenses seem competitive.I was surprised to see Mercedes now makes their own brand of after shave lotion. I wonder what's next?

The customer service was truly exceptional. I had an issue with my brakes and was reassured with my decision to go there when I received top of the line service. I experienced extraordinary service from Mr. Peter and would gladly return in the future. It's not often that a repairman would be more concerned about your safety, than his own profit. My only issue is that they could not repair the rattling noise in my car, maybe it is conditional and expected from an older model vehicle, but I appreciate their efforts in being accommodating! My brakes are like new.

My husband and I purchased a ML350 from Mike Rudin and the entire process was flawless. He addressed every concern we had and finally ended my exhausting search for finding a vehicle that fit all of my wants and needs. With each dealership and vehicle there was always something that just didn't work for me, that is until we met Mike. He walked me through the process and made me feel comfortable throughout. It was time for routine maintenance on my car (50,00 mile service check), so I made my appointment online and requested a loaner car. I arrived a bit early on the day of the appointment, and was greeted right away, taken to a waiting service advisor who quickly and efficiently completed the paperwork, and had me on my way in the (new!) loaner car in a matter of minutes. I received a text message when my car was ready, along with a copy of the invoice--no surprises! My car was ready and freshly washed when I arrived to pick it up. But Logan Bunger was very courteous and provide follow up customer service to make up for the system notification. Irvin Rich is a great salesman. He went the extra mile to make sure I had the best car buying experience when I just purchased my new CLA250 with the sports platinum package. This car was hard to find but he never stopped looking until he found the exact car/color/interior that I was looking for. It was a birthday gift to myself and it didn't arrive on time due to the holiday but he made sure he kept me informed of the progress and when I arrived to pick the car up it was on the showroom floor with beautiful happy birthday balloons attached. He took the time to make sure I was familiar with the vehicle even though after we finished the purchase it was past closing time. Kathie (in Finance) was great also she explained everything to us and did a fantastic job. She was very pleasant to wok with. Brendan was very instrumental in the negotiation process and was a pleasure to work with also. Overall we had a great experience. The last time we bought new Mercedes Benz's from this dealership was 2003 and we purchased a new E320 and a new CLK320 and I must say this was the best experience so you just keep getting better! My husband and I have purchased many cars and we both agree that Irvin Rich has been the best salesman we have worked with. Thanks to everyone for our wonderful car buying experience!!!!

Mercedes At Richmong BC auto mall are cheats. Be carefull when dealing with these guys. Just run to ur nearest Audi bmw or lexus dealer. It is just not worth it these guys put a lot of add ons to the car and make u believe that they are mandatory like the taxes and when u confront them they dont answer or return ur calls. The mercedes three point star means something else now guys. We know that they have targets and that they are losing market share but this isnt the way to meet your targets. So sad and pathetic.

My experience at MB-R was exceptional from service associate ( Chis A. ) to the complimentary car wash. My initial problem was diagnosed and fixed. They even fixed a yearlong issue the vehicle had without me asking. To top it all, they through in a state inspection that would be due in 2 weeks. Great job MB-R !! There was consideration of safety and time management from the moment that I arrived. The mechanic, receiving my vehicle, advised me of the wait time and referred me to a very competent service personnel. (Craig Johnson) He explained the process for diagnosing the problem and indicated that I may need to leave my car over night. I was called and advised that the service would not be completed until the following day. Upon returning on the next day, I was advised that the car was ready and after completing my financial obligation the car was brought to the service area. Craig Johnson is to be commended for his professionalism in working with customers.

Though we felt it was a warranty issue because of the nature of the crack, we were pleased with Craig and the dealership in replacement of our windshield. This is not the first windshield on a Mercedes that has been damaged while we possessed the car. We do feel that Mercedes should try to make windshields that can endure small rocks or items hitting the windshield.

Working with Jen on a new C300. Took it for a test drive and then arranged for an overnight extended test drive this past weekend. I called Jen Friday morning and he had the car ready for me when I pulled into the dealership that afternoon. He actually pulled the car up while I was still getting out of my car. He already had a copy of my drivers license so all he needed from me was a signature on the contract that he had already filled out. Couldn't have been easier. Test drive went well and returned it without any problems. Still haven't decided if I'll go with the Benz or something else. Will update this review if we start to discuss pricing and how well that went.

It was never my intention to purchase a Mercedes. I was looking at a Lexus or BMW. What a world class experience! My sales consultant Jen was outstanding. He was extremely knowledgeable and very patient. I test drove 4 different vehicles. They listened to my needs and went above and beyond the call of duty and exceeded my expectations. From the receptionist at the front door to the General Manager, they treat you like royalty. They have made me a Mercedes customer for life.

Our experience last Thursday was the first since we purchased our MB at MB of Richmond. We drove approximately 80 miles from Orange, Virginia. From our arrival greeting, to processing our work order request, to our timely departure, we were impressed with the professionalism of the entire staff. Peter, last name unknown, our service representative was most helpful. Peter understood the concept of our needs, had the necessary skills, and his customer service as outstanding. The free service clinic was a great way to find out if there were any problems before the winter got started. It was nice of them to have food and refreshments during the wait too. Overall very we had a very nice experience and would recommend any one else to go to their service clinics too.

A truly outstanding experience in every way. My sales consultant was an expert on the cars he had for sale. The sales manager was personable, a car lover, and just a great all around person to talk to and do business with. The finance people were great. I have no doubt that the service department will be as outstanding as the rest of the people at this dealership. And after I drove off the lot in the car of my dreams, I received a follow up phone call from the dealership to see if I was 100% satisfied and if I had any questions. Love these people! The cars are beautiful, and of the highest quality.

In for a oil change. Reception outstanding. I had an appointment so they were waiting on me. Representative C.Alston quickly acknowledged my arrival, swiftly prepared my paperwork, answered my question about my keyless entry system, and directed me to the waiting area. My vehicle was ready in a timely fashion. My vehicle came back not only serviced , they cleaned it too. :-) Overall my experience there made me feel like a MVP customer. Mcgeorge is the best of the best.

This particular dealership tried to pass off a damaged vehicle as clean. Once they realized the mistake, they changed the vehicle description but called the repairs as expert. My mechanic pointed out numerous "non-expert" repairs including aftermarket parts, debris in paint, drill holes, ect. The vehicle sunroof also malfunctioned and would not close. Sure, they marked down the vehicle price about 1K but that doesn't make up for the existing damage and future problems. Really, nobody wants to buy a previously damaged car, there are better options. So they make a ton of money selling the customer a new benz, and then try to pass off the poor quality trade-in as clean and in good condition.

My son and I visited McGeorge Mercedes Benz of Richmond to look at a 2013 Mercedes E Class convertible they had in stock; the salesman (Michael Collins) that greeted us was extremely knowledgeable and very professional. While it turned out that particular Mercedes did not fit my budget, Mike worked hard to get one that was. A few weeks later he called to tell me he had the perfect car for me. The vehicle was great, and we were quickly able to agree on a price. After having the car for a couple weeks, I had put together a list of mostly minor problems and contacted Mike, he was quick to set me up an appointment with the service department and arranged for a loaner vehicle. One of the issues involved the finish on the wheels. On this note the dealership exceeded my expectations buy having all four wheels completely reconditioned. This took almost two weeks, but I was exactly what needed to be done, and as I was provided with a nice loaner vehicle the entire time, I had no complaints. When I picked up my vehicle, Mike was right there to make sure everything was corrected to my satisfaction. Well done!I usually hate car buying, but Mike and the crew at McGeorge made it a pleasant experience. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family!Cheers, John Conaway

I was treated well from start to finish. My only suggestion would be if there is not a loaner car available you offer another option so that the client wouldn't have to ask for sales manager. Everyone might not understand how willing they are to take care of your needs. I spoke witn Ryan and I was handled extremely well immediately. Brian in service was excellent !

Doug, our client advisor and Jay Ramsey, Finance Director really went out of their way to assist us in trading in our 2005 320 and purchasing a 2010 350. I talked with John Yeglinski on the phone about a new tocoma double cab. I found John to be very knowledegable and a pleasure to communicate with. Began having car serviced in Richmond, VA., approximately December 08. First service advisor, I believe was Mr. Christopher Alston and currently still is. The overall experience/service received was and continues to be excellent. Mr. Alston is to be commended for his professionalism and in all my dealings with him, he is such a wonderful human being. Service has also been excellent and I have had only one minor incident over the past 3 years that was immediately corrected. Mr. Alston was not my advisor at the time. Highly Recommended

Unfortunately I had a less than positive experience with this dealership. I traveled 120 mls to purchase a used car, and was contacted several times by the sales person encouraging me to see the car. Was told that it had a thorough inspection, and was in excellent condition. I was very familiar with the vehicle because I had one very similar. When I went to pick the car up everyone was very nice. However in driving the car home I realized that the brakes were very soft. I contacted the dealership and after 4 days of the run around I was told to have it checked by a Mercedes Benz dealership locally. I took the car and after an inspection was told that the brake fluid was very low and discolored. In fact it appeared to have never been replaced. Of course I was extremely upset, in addition to the fact that I felt misled because there were other things about the car that were not intact, (digital clock and temperature reading), and I shared the importance of this with my sales person. But he never bothered to mention that they were not working. In fact he also failed to mention that the wood grain was crack by the gear shift, and the middle section interior light bulb need replacing as well. The long and short is I would never have expected this from a Mercedes Benz dealership. I love the car, and will likely purchase another, but not from David McGeorge Mercedes of Richmond Virginia
