I had a flawless experience at Southampton Mercedes Benz with Candece. My initial inquiries were via email and Candece was always patient, honest and responsive. When I visited her in the showroom, her warm and genuine personality, along with her ability to put in the extra work to find the car I wanted, I was already sold! I wanted a specific interior and exterior, she went above and beyond to find the SUV for me, and quickly! I picked up the car the following week and I love it.

I would give this dealership a negative 1 if available. The reason being is because I spoke to a gentleman on 5/6/21 about purchasing a 2013 Toyota Tacoma. The gentleman informed me the sales manager would be in the office at 9:00 A.M. on 5/7/21 and would call me by 11:00 A.M. to secure the deal. I reached out to the dealership this morning (5/7/21) and left a message with the receptionist for the sales manager to please call me in regards to the 2013 Toyota Tacoma. She assured me he would be calling. I called the dealership back at 4:00 P.M. (5/7/21) and she informed me the truck sold an hour ago. This is not ethical and honest by any standard in today’s world. I even offered to pay a deposit on 5/6/21 to secure the truck, but the salesman said the vehicle would be mine that a deposit wasn’t necessary. Concluding, from my experience with Mercedes-Benz of Southampton stay away if you’re looking for honesty and ethical business practices. Google should allow for negative ratings because they deserve one.

I had a wonderful experience and visit to Mercedes Benz of Southampton. I actually called for an appointment and was given one at my convience. This made the trip much easier because i was drove almost 2 hours to get to your dealership. Robert was very helpful and attentive to my needs. I decided to stay and wait for my vehicle to be done and there was no issue at all with this. I was brought to the waiting area which was comfortable and clean. I was updated while waiting by Robert, and when the vehicle was done, he explained everything and I left very satisfied.I also met the Service Manager John while at the dealership. He introduced himself (guess that i was a new face there, which i was) and even showed me where everything was in the waiting area. I called him two days later just to tell him that everything went PERFECTLY and thanked him for having a wonderful staff there.I normally do not write reviews but after the horrible service that I received from the MB store in Manhattan (which is a corporate store by the way) I did tell John that maybe the factory rep should video his staff and department and play it for the corporate workers that they have in NYC as they are absolutely horrible and can't seem to fix anything. Thanks again to Robert & John for making the trip worthwhile!

I recently purchased a 2013 GL 450 with low mileage from Silver Star MB. I put on about 4K miles and the service engine light came on intermittent. I brought the suv to Southampton MB. Smitty had done some diagnostics and discovered the problem immediately. Smitty provided us with a loaner suv. They fixed our suv and it seems great. I would recommend Southampton MB to anyone for great service.

My mother is 98 years old, and although she has her aid drive her car, she still likes to keep it in top condition. Due to very low milage, she only needs service once a year to coincide with the New York State inspection. Every time she brings her car in for service, her service manager, Smitty, treats her like was in need of a spruce up. I inquired about buying new wheels, as the original ones were looking very bad. Smitty advised on getting them refurbished, saving my mother over $500. When she picked the car up, she didn't recognize it as it looked new. She was delighted.I live in Rochester, NY and my mother lives in Shelter Island, NY. When she is treated so well by someone like Smitty, it helps me out a great deal. I have to share how fantastic Smitty, in the Southampton dealership, is. We have a home in Palm beach, Bryn Mawr and Southampton. Our car goes to all 3 and after a few years of experiencing other service locations I have to say that nothing compares to the level of service in Southampton. Everyone from the receptionist on is pleasant, helpful and they go out of their way to ensure a great experience. When I have a problem or need a or b service I wait to take it to Southampton. Smitty is the most knowledgable and competent Mercedes person I have ever met and I have had a Mercedes for at least 45 years. It is not possible to improve the service experience at MB of Southampton because it is already above and beyond what anyone can ever expect. It is brilliantly laid out so that when you are working with the service adviser it is as nice as when purchasing a car in the new car showroom. The mechanics are professional, the valet is courteous and the adviser is amongst the best, if not the best of anyone in his field. Our adviser, Jeffrey Smith, is the go-to guy for all things MB. He knows more about the MB cars than anyone else I have ever met, MB enthusiasts included. He is incredibly helpful and friendly. He is able to be focused and fun while handling multiple tasks and executing them perfectly. What always impresses me is that he anticipates topics and the car is returned with something extra adjusted or even fixed that I had not even noticed. It is safe to say that while MB cars are terrific, we own them because it allows us to work with MB Southampton about whom we truly feel Das Beste oder nichts.

At MB of Southampton you will receive 1st class service, attention, cooperation to make you feel that MB appreciates you bought 1 of their cars..There have been ZERO hassles with getting my cars in out and fixed on time and more than fairly priced. Buying a new Mercedes from this dealership was a very pleasurable experience. They always answer the phone, they return calls promptly, and are very accommodating. We just walked in the door one day and was able to test drive a variety of vehicles. All questions were answered professionally and accurately. We purchased the car but then were out of town for a few weeks, and they very happily stored the car until our return. The communication and follow up after the purchase was very thorough. In fact, we decided to purchase an accessory a few weeks after picking up the car. Our salesman, Alan Weiss ordered the item for us, stayed on top of delivery and actually met us at a restaurant and dropped it off to us. It was exceptional customer service. They definitely earned a customer for life.

Had a warning light came on at 20K m in my GLK 250 , (leased from the best guy in the auto business, Dan Siegal at Manhattan Mercedes) saying "add blu, 10 starts remaining". Needed my vehicle for work commute and called MB of Southampton, my local dealer from the car. The only question they asked was "How long will it take you to get here?" Andy , Smitty and the service department set me up with a brand new loaner, diagnosed the problem, had the part ordered and installed in 2 working days. Returned my vehicle spotless and with no out of pocket cost. Communication throughout was clear and timely. Great job all around. Thanks to all. It's exactly the level of customer service you would hope for from the MB brand.

Went to dealership --- third brake light cover was broken --- wanted it replaced --- charged me $400 and replaced the entire brake light. Rip-off!I waited for hours for a A maintenance service call --- turned out the the work had been done, but their computers went down and they didn't bother to tell me. They had me waiting for hours and hours --- Everyone else left, and finally, I left my credit card information.On the positive side, coffee is good.

The process of leasing a new vehicle from this dealership was average at best. In the end, there were several fees from our previous car that were not explained and were subsequently billed a month later for. When inquiring with the dealership, I did not get a response and needed to follow up, only to find the sale rep dismissive, condescending and rude.

This is the second time we worked with Candece. Candece and Anthony worked together so we got exactly what we wanted at a reasonable price. This dealership was wonderful to deal with. The salesman, Ken Jones was knowledgeable, helpful, efficient, thorough, and a pleasure to work with. The general manager, Gary Gentile, was very accomodating and friendly, and very available for questions and concerns. The gentleman in charge of finances was most helpful in working out payments and wire transfers, and overall the experience was exceptional. I hope that the service department will be able to match the sales experience...they have a lot to oive up to!

We went to this dealership to look at used coupes and were introduced to Kathleen Crowley. After looking at a beautiful selection of preowned cars we fell in love with a 2008 CLK 550 Coupe with 29,000 miles and bought it the next day. We went to MB of Southampton to lease a car. If you want a good salesperson with years of experience and so much knowledge about the cars, than go to Kathleen. She helped us choose a car with all the features we wanted. I can not express any more than I am right now how wonderful this dealership is. It really goes with Mercedes' motto of "The best or nothing". If there were a "10" star option, it would be the first placed.

When I need a new car, I typically buy a used one. I like high end, little used, cars but don't have the stomach for the high end prices when new. I was all set to buy a very low mileage CLK 350 from a Speciality dealer in PA but at the last minute looked at the inventory at this dealer and saw the same car w/10K less mileage (4 years old, 17,000 miles). I called them, got Bob, and it seemed to me that he dropped everything to help me. The car was absolutly spotless and priced pretty fairly. After minor, painless haggling, I bought it. I've purchased a lot of car over my 64 years but I can truthfully say that the face of this dealer, Bob Hahn, was extraordinary. I'm a big picture guy and I'll figure out how to use something when I need to but Bob persevered and explained every detail of this really nice car, which I promptly forgot but will figure it out when I need it. While the dealer is 200 miles from home, I'd be crazy to ever buy a MB anywhere else. Thanks again, Bob.

Smitty saved the day AGAIN! This time, my trunk wasn't latching and he found the part and had it installed during a busy holiday weekend. Last time, he was able to price-match four new tires and install them quickly and efficiently. He's always a pleasure to work with and he always knows exactly how to solve problems. The sales person at the Smithtown Mercedes, now known to me as Susan Holmes, was totally great. She was very professional, knowledgeable, patient, understanding, and a comfort to complete a transaction with. I have recommended several co-workers to respond to the dealership and only deal with SUSAN HOLMES. Don't get me wrong the transaction was not for a free vehicle and considering I am totally broke and in debt for life I was satisfied with the transaction I obtained with the sales person. The entire summer I was looking to lease a E350 convertible and not one dealer had one. Last weekend I walked into the Southampton Mercedes dealer and they just got a shipment of fresh 2012's. I told my wife in front of the salesmen: "we are not leaving today without a car." Alan Weiss my salesperson was terrific. besides his very cordial and his very accommodating manner, the day we picked the car he even managed to have a big red bow it. My wife loved the whole experience and so did I. Still, none of the other dealers who I was working with has called to say that a shipment came in. The dealer nearest me still does not have one on their showroom floor. I guess I was lucky to meeting Alan.

The purchase of my 08 SL went smoothly, Kathleen & Adam were very knowledgeable, courteous, and prompt with all questions and problems. The delivery of the SL went great, Adam even came in on his day off for delivery, the car was detailed to perfection, Adam was on top of everything all the time including the pre-ownership inspection and told me how the car would have rated if it was a certified vehicle, that it would not need any service for 12,000 miles, that a cracked light lens was found and replaced and the touch-up on paint imperfections was done without problems and done excellant. I received numerous follow-up calls from Adam, even after delivery and it was well worth it to drive 250 miles to find such a quality pre-owned SL, I had been to my local Mercedes-Benz dealer and another in the Long Island area. I would return for another car at any time and highly recommend Mercedes-Benz of Southampton to anyone!!

From the moment I first walked into the dealership, it was a great experience. My sales specialist was Susan Holmes who walked me through every single detail, very knowledgeable, patient, charming, friendly, straightforward and competent lady who knew exactly what she was doing. Overall it was a 5 star experience. I would recommend this dealer anytime.

This place had a large selection of pre-owned vehicles with low to incredibly low mileage, at or close to prices that you would expect to pay for normal mileage vehicles. It was worth the trip out to the dealership. Their internet site had several vehicles that I would have purchased, but I had to settle for just one..a beautiful E350 CPO vehicle with low miles.Salesman Bob Hahn was polite, knowledgable, and professional. Follow-up on minor issue was exceptional, both by salesman and pre-owned sales manager, Adam Hofer.Would highly recommend the experience to anyone looking for a pre-owned Mercedes. Check the website, call the salesperson, and enjoy a ride out to the Hamptons to buy a car.

I found Ms. Dwyer-D'Avino to be an exceptionally effective sales person. She is friendly, knowledgeable and knows precisely how to balance persuasiveness with customer empathy. She must have spent four hours with me, two on the initial visit, and two when I took delivery. As evidence of her customer commitment, she re-arranged her Sunday schedule in order to facilitate the delivery of the car to me. She showed infinite patience in teaching me the various benefits of the vehicle. She completed all the paperwork in a highly efficient fashion. I have no hesitation recommending Candece Dwyer-D'Avino of Mercedes Benz Southampton to my friends and acquaintances (in fact,she was recommended to me by one of my friends who bought a car from her).

Mine was by no means the biggest sale of the century, as I bought a used car (not even an M-B) from them-- but I was treated as a valued customer by both John and Adam during the entire process. It turns out the price on the vehicle was the best of 40 I'd looked at over the prior weeks and the free CarFax confirmed my faith in the vehicle as being what was presented. Communication from the bursar's office was prompt, complete and accurate. I would recommend the dealership highly as a result of this experience.

Kathleen was very professional. She gave me a great price and there were no hidden fees when I signed the contract. John, the service man also helped me transfer some items from my Lexus to the new Mercedes. In fact, the dealership accepted my old Lexus and was returning it to Lexus for me! Talk about service!!!! Kathleen went over all the options and features on my new car... very knowledgeable and very patient. Excellent experience with Kathleen and John!

I have had several service issues and was very well taken care of by Smitty. He was helpful far and beyond his normal call of duty. On a busy day he walked outside of the office to and personally took care of an issue that would have taken a service call and hours of my time. He knew how to fix it and did it himself. He returns my calls quickly and is always a pleasure to work with. (And I can compare this with the rather lack luster service I have received from the NYC dealer for years....I will make sure to get all my service issues taken care of by the Southampton location and more importantly, glad to know that Smitty is there to provide the finest customer service I have had at a car dealer)

Have had several cars serviced by Smitty. Large job or small, he has provided the same exceptional level of service. His love of cars, people and his job are unfailingly evident. Always thinking of the customer, always available for consultation, extraordinarily sensitive to customer needs (i.e. time, budget). Having had many different cars from many different manufacturers over the years, he is as competent as any service manager I have ever encountered and by far the sunniest and most sincerely concerned.

Smitty is without doubt the best service manager I have ever worked with!!Recently, I encountered some unusual problems with my mercedes. Smitty and his team did not take the easy way out by changing a few sensors and re-setting the computer. Smitty is an outstanding diagnostician and just had a "sixth sense" that something else was going on with the car. He was proactive and gave me daily updates the the repair progress. Darn if Smitty wasn't right on the money. The problem was much more involved. Mice were slowly eating their way through the brake cables. This could have produced a disastrous---if not fatal---outcome. After the problem was fixed, Smitty gave some great advice about how to prevent the mouse problem from recurring. At every step, Smitty was patient, informed, expert and demonstrated that special sense of humor that only Smitty has. I hate to say it, but having the car repaired was actually a pleasant experience. I'm really going to miss Smitty's daily update calls. He is a great guy and a master at his trade!

Had an "emergency" service need...headlights were out.Was able to get same day appointment.The service could not have been more professional or friendlier.the waiting are was pleasant.the job was done quicklyEverything was carefully explained.Andy and "Smitty" were great!

If you want the best of the best have smitty take care of your car.. I haveownedMervedes for over 40 years and the best service I have ever re eived has been with Smitty, there is never a problem only the way tofixit. A pleasure to deal with.

Smitty is the best service advisor. He is extremely helpful. He is always available to answer any question I might have no matter how small it may be. He is very knowledgeable and thorough when explaining how certain features work. I would recommend him to anyone.

Routine service and NYS inspection for GLK350. I received prompt/courteous service. The service was completed on time. Car returned cleaned inside and out. Smitty (my service advisor) went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure my satisfaction. I had additionally requested a replacement of a broken Benz keyring. Dealership was out of stock and pending new order, so Smitty gave me his keyring knowing he could get a replacement soon. Now who does something like that? Only in the Hamptons...where the smallest detail matters. Smitty...you are the best!!!!! Donna

I OWN AN SL65 AMG ROADSTER. I WAS STUCK IN SAG HARBOR WITH MY CONVERTIBLE ROOF NOT FULLY GOING BACK INTO THE TRUNK, MAKING CLOSING THE TRUNK LID IMPOSSIBLE. MERCEDES ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE WAS UNABLE TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM AND I WAS FORCED TO CHOSE BETWEEN A FLAT BED TOW OF 100 MILES TO A STORAGE TOW YARD OR DRIVING BACK TO MY HOME WITH THE TRUNK LID AND ROOF NOT ACTUALLY SECURED. I OPTED TO CAREFULLY DRIVE BACK HOME AND THE NEXT MORNING I CONTACTED THE CLOSEST MERCEDES BENZ DEALER WHICH WAS MERCEDES BENZ OF SOUTHAMPTON. EVEN THOUGH THIS WAS NOT MY ORIGINAL SELLING DEALER I WAS IMMEDIATELY PUT IN TOUCH WITH A "GOD SEND" : JEFF "SMITTY SMITH ". MR SMITH ON THE PHONE WENT THRU A THOROUGH DIAGNOSTIC REVIEW OF THE PROBLEM AND WAS ABLE TO WALK ME THRU A SOLUTION WHICH SOLVED MY DELIMA. I have had multiple problems with the automatic door opening system. Last week I stopped in and they insisted it was the key battery. (This was the same employee who when I said "do you work here" because he was sitting at a desk staring into space, said to me "yea, why?". In order to change the key battery, they sent me off to the parts department, in another building (did I say it was raining too?). When I got there, they were closed for lunch. I had to wait 30 minutes, to get a battery, which they charged me $10 for, and the key still doesn't work. So I go back to the dealer to yet another service rep, who says I have to make an appointment to bring the car in -- three weeks away. Meanwhile I can't lock my doors. I bought the car, my third, in Washington where the service was impeccable. I've had it serviced in Rockville Centre but they changed managers and that place is awful now too, but Southampton is by far worse.
