This is the second time I have worked with Dean. He is outstanding to work with. I walked into the dealership knowing what I wanted to look at based on research. No upsell. Just information. Asked the right questions without going overboard. He was transparent about every part of the transaction and the car. There were a couple of things needing attention and that was taken care of. His attention to detail is impeccable. I would highly recommend working with Dean.Also worked with Tory in the finance department. Patrick and maintenance crew did a great job working on my vehicle; servicing my brakes. They were fast and actually found that I didn't need all the things I thought I needed so they fixed only what I needed and the cost ended up being significantly less than I thought. Ultimately they didn't take advantage of me.

NOT THE CASE HERE... met with Patrick O'Bryant and he was very easy going and just wanted to help us find the deal we were looking for. We ended up leaving that night to sleep on it, and that made all the difference for my wife. we called back in the morning and pulled the trigger. My husband and I first chose Metropolitan Ford because Dean reached out to us in an email and phone call after I used TrueCar.com. He respected that we would get back to him in a few days once we had discussed things more, which I liked unlike Freeway Ford who kept badgering us with multiple calls and emails from different salesmen.Our experience at the dealership was great. I pretty much knew exactly what I wanted and the price I wanted (from looking at Metro. Ford online), but when we go there the Ford Escape I wanted was sold, but Dean was really helpful and gave us some great info. about the difference between the 1.6L and 2.0L EcoBoost, so we ended up buying a 2.0L EcoBoost Escape that night at the price we saw before coming into the dealership, so there were no games or gimmicks. The 2.0L was a little more expensive, but with all the money off we got and the 0% APR financing for 5 years, it was well worth it!Thanks Dean!

My spouse took our 2013 Camry in for an oil change. Value and quality of work was the typical excellent. However, care in communication needs improvement. The "Ford Quick Lane Vehicle Report Card" attached to the Customer Invoice was for a 2015 Ford Super Duty F350 belonging to Audie Cole of 600 Tool St. Monroe, MI. Jordan Rundle was the Service Consultant/Advisor. We did not notice the error until my spouse was home.Not sure who the certified technician. The technician on Mr. Cole's Vehicle Report Card was S. Swirtz. There was no technician's name on the Customer invoice. The invoice number was #278569.

Metropolitan Ford was fantastic. I had damaged my tire and wheel by hitting a road hazard. I came into Metropolitan Ford without an appointment. I was immediately attended to. The Service Manager came and introduced himself. Dan Henderson was very proactive in finding a tire for me. Since my wheel was custom, he arranged for three different appointments the following week, depending on when the wheel came in (which was predicted 3-5 days). All this during Christmas week--a very busy time. Then, they were able to escalate getting the wheel, and were arranged to put it on for me the very next day!! Everyone in the facility made me feel like a valued customer. I was totally appreciative of my experience. Thank you!

I have attempted to get honest, responsive answers from other salespeople in the Twin Cities at Ford dealerships and nobody comes close to the work of Tony at Metropolitan. He didn't try to sell me anything other than what I was looking for, reviewed all the options, found a few choices in the greater area that he could get to the dealership, and simplified the sign and drive leasing experience. Definitely recommending him to friends/family and others who are in the market for a Ford.

I looked around town at other dealerships for the same truck but other sales people didn't take the time to go over the truck. Ilaisa took extra time to show all the features. I was provided a list of what the inspection was when they took it in on trade. They showed all the service that was done at the dealer, a full car fax and peace of mind I was buying a well taken care of truck.

I bought my car from you in 2008 and have had all of the oil changes and repair work done on it by you. I have always been impressed by the friendly people there and the great service I have received. I do have one suggestion regarding my visit yesterday. I had called in about a week ahead to make an appointment to have new tires put on my car, as well as the oil change and check-up. I asked how long it would take and was told about 2 hours. I said I would wait for the car. When I got there, the young lady wrote up the order and said she would bring me the choice of tires. After I picked the ones I wanted, she said it would take 2 hours to get them there. She did offer me a ride home or a ride to lunch if I wanted it, but I didn't want to put anyone out and figured a little extra time there would be okay. 2 1/2 hours later the young man came out and told me that the tires were still not there. He again offered me a ride home, but I declined at that point, so it really is my fault that I ended up staying there so long. I finally was able to leave at about 3:00 (My appointment was at 10:00.) The young man was very apologetic and very accommodating. So, this is not a complaint. I just wanted to suggest that when somjeone calls in to get new tires, they be referred to someone who can handle the ordering of the tires, so they can be picked up ahead of time. Maybe this is your procedure, and someone just didn't follow through. We all make mistakes. I will be turning 86 in a couple of months, and at this age, every day is a special gift, so I am determined to never let anything take the joy out of the day for me. Please don't fault any of your people. They are all wonderful and have always been so nice to me. Oh, by the way, I had a candy bar out of the vending machine for my lunch. I have been trying to stay away from candy bars, but this was a good excuse to have one. There's always a bright spot in any situation. Thank you for the 7 years of excellent service. Renee Walstrom

I went in to check out my options as the lease for my previous Ford Focus was up at the end of September. Tony took the time to review all of my options with everything available to me and noted my want list depending on if I decided to look at a new lease with them. After much work on Tony's part, he found me a brand new 2015 Ford Focus and I could not be happier. I will not lie, I did not plan to stay with Ford after the lease for my first Focus lease was up (personal reasons, wanted to look at something new), but I couldn't be happier to stay with them. I stopped at Metro Ford randomly to test drive a car I found on their website. After Ilaisa listened to what I was looking for, he found 3 more cars that met the criteria. The first car he showed me was exceptionally nice but was missing a couple of the features we really wanted. Because we liked the car so much, Ilaisa worked with an outside vendor to have the features added to the car. The vendor did an excellent job and made getting the work done very easy. Ilaisa really did go the extra mile to get us everything we were looking for.

I purchased a new truck for my son in February. I live in Florida, but my son is still in Eden Prairie. His previous vehicle cost more to repair than it was worth. Ilaisa helped get a my son in a new truck quickly. I recently emailed him asking about a complimentary oil change for the new truck. No response. I emailed a second time and again, no response. I called his direct line and left a voice mail. I called the dealership main number and when I was transferred to him, I got disconnected. I tried calling him a second time on the main number and was put thru to his voice mail. I guess there is no complimentary first oil change or the decency of a reply.

When I had the vehicle specs narrowed down, I did some searching for the best price and found it at Metropolitan Ford. We called Metropolitan Ford after seeing a newspaper ad from them with a great price on a 2014 Cmax. We had test-driven the car at two other dealerships but they didn't have our preferred color and their prices, even after various dealer discounts and Ford rebates, were higher. James located the car we wanted and Metropolitan still honored their advertised price. James and Michael handled the avalanche of paperwork at purchase smoothly and efficiently and James gave us a good overview of the car's features. Both James and Michael were very pleasant, low-key and easy to work with.

Took a quick look at my power steering problem and helped diagnose potential problems right away. Got back to me later that day with the actual problem and laid out solution and schedule. After fixing the first problem, they were sharp enough to hear something else was not sounding right and took a look at what was going on. They helped diagnose a frayed belt for the water pump and quickly called me to let me know. Getting this diagnosed and fixed right away was important so that I did not occur future problems, especially getting stranded. Kudos to the Metro Ford service team in taking the extra time to make sure that my vehicle is running safe. Also appreciate the courier service back to work when dropping off my car.

I have been bringing my Lincoln MKZ to your service department for several years now. Each previous visit left me leaving with the feeling that my auto was well taken care of. The service personnel, in both the full service and the quick lane, were always knowledgeable and friendly with an interest and smile that always made me feel comfortable. My latest visit was somewhat different in that I returned to have some major service work preformed based on a previous estimate I have received from an earlier visit (basically brakes pads and rotors replaced). In reviewing the estimate with my service person (Brian) we discovered the last estimate was greatly 'understated' by a large amount. After a brief discussion with management, Brian came back and told me that the dealership would honor the 'understated' estimate. Thus reenforcing my belief that I am dealing with a World-Class Organization.

We had done some online shopping for an SUV, and found a couple good deals we wanted to check out at Metro Ford. When we got there, Ilaisa was very friendly, took the stock numbers I had and got right to work pulling up the vehicle we wanted to see (the other had been sold or taken off the lot). Ilaisa was very helpful in getting information about the vehicle, and even recommended that we take our German Shepherd into the dealership (he was waiting out in the car). The truck drove fine, but the price on the windshield was $2000 more than what we saw online... but, without any hesitation, Ilaisa got that changed down to the price we had seen in the advertisement, and we were in and out in a very short amount of time.Great experience and customer service

Bobby Schulze made my purchase go as smooth as possible given that I live out of state. He was willing to spend time with someone that I sent over to inspect the car and to go on a test drive with that person. Bobby also went out of his way and picked me up from the airport when I come to look at the car. He also had all the paperwork ready for me so that I only had to sign a few things and then hit the road. I enjoyed my experience and wished all car purchases were like this.

My wife and I went to Metropolitan Ford on a Saturday to look at and purchase a truck that I had found online. As we walked in, we were greeted by Bobby Schulze with a smile. With little description of the truck he knew which one I was talking about. Within 15 minutes we had talked price/trade-in and my Wife and I were on a test drive. With it being a few minutes until close on a Saturday I was scared that we wouldn't be able to make this happen. When we returned both Bobby and the finance guy got the paperwork together and stayed an hour after to get me into my new F-150! Hats off to Bobby and the gang at Metropolitan Ford.

My wife and I were looking for a low-budget car to purchase with insurance money from a car accident. We tried a few different places, and found a car at Metropolitan in Eden Prairie. The sales associate, Mike Jones, greeted us immediately and located the car. He let us test drive the car (allowing both my wife and I to drive it) and was helpful, and accomodating. We later found out that the dealership was closing, and he stayed 20mn late to help us. We decided to purchase the car, and he helped us hold the car with a deposit until we could return the following day with the money (from insurance company-we didn't have it yet). We returned and purchased the car from him. Excellent service. Mike was friendly, helpful and relatable. We will be purchasing another car at the end of February, and will be returning to purchase a car through him again. My wife and I are very happy with Metropolitan!

They too were very friendly and genuine. We were highly impressed with the follow up calls to make certain that our needs were being met. Although the cost of mechanically repairing Ford vehicles is admittedly high, I have had very good experiences at Metropolitan Ford (versus other local, competitor repair shops that have previously serviced by car, a 2010 Ford Fusion).My recent trip to Metropolitan Ford was the third time that I have taken my car to this shop for general maintenance servicing. Each time, I have been very impressed with three things - 1. They do what they say they are going to do, and when they say they are going to do it. Examples - each time that I have brought my car in to Metropolitan to be services, each different service representative that I dealt with told me that they would call me on or before a specific time to advise me what the status of their shops' servicing of my car was. And each time, they call me promptly and on or before when promised, in order to advise me what they had found and what they had done, and if applicable, what further recommended service be done to my car,along with a logical explanation of why; 2. They quoted me all prices for what servicing they were doing, or, what servicing they further recommended that they complete UP FRONT. To my surprise, in each one of mythree visits, my repair bills were either equal to or less than what Metropolitan quoted to me; 3. Metropolitan's service reps have never pushed or pressured me into performing more maintenance work to my car than what was absolutely needed at the time. In this regard, each time, Metroplitan's reps explained to me what the pluses and minuses of having additional work done to my car would be, and if I chose not have that work done "now", how long I could reasonably drive my car before I would need that additional work done - before I could anticipate experiencing problems.Automobile dealership repair shops generally have a bad reputation (not unlike the bad reputation that the insurance industry that I work in has). However, as a professional who has been in the customer service business myself for 42+ years, I can tell you from long experience that Metropolitan Ford is the exception to this bad reputation. They provide overall excellent customer service, and so far, have demonstrated themselves to me to be very straight forward and honest to deal with. Bottom line . . . they have earned my respect, and as such, I would highly recommend their repair service facility to anyone who owns a Ford product. Metropolitan is a breath of fresh air in a generally "polluted" auto repair industry.

I came to Ford in search of a new car after my Audi broke down and I decided I didn't wanna deal with foreign cars anymore. So, I talked to Marc and told him I wanted to test drive a brand new Taurus. That thing was SWEET. And after about a month and some talks with my family, I ended up trading in the Audi and getting one! 2014 Taurus Sel Limited for $22,000! I'm very happy with not only the car, but the salesmanship that Marc had as well. He listened to what I wanted to do and worked WITH me Instead of pushing a car at me. I purchased tires elsewhere. After a few months, one tire developed a leak, which the supplier tried to fix several times, without success. I brought it in to the quick-service line, where the leak was fixed. The other place said it was due to corrosion of aluminum wheel. So did Metropolitan. The difference, they knew enough about Ford wheels to take care of the problem properly. Next time I need tires, I'm not going elsewhere!

My wife and I just leased a new car from Tony, and could not be more happy with the entire experience. We traded in an older vehicle and got a very reasonable price for it, no questions asked. Tony was prompt at returning all my questions, which there were several along the way for me. The only thing I was looking for regarding the car-buying experience was to not feel the pressure to buy immediately. Tony answered a lot of questions for me, gave me a test drive, and even quoted me a few vehicle prices so I could do more research at home. This was all a few months before we ended up coming back in! If you are looking for a no pressure, enjoyable car buying experience, Tony Reyes and Metropolitan Ford should be your first stop!

When I realized that I had forgotten to remove a parking tag from my old vehicle. Mike Jones returned to the dealership to retrieve the tag. Assuring there was no risk of my new vehicle being towed from the downtown ramp I park in. I recommend Metropolitan Ford to anyone in the market for a vehicle.

This was my first time doing business with a dealership - I'd never bought a used car like this before, and I was incredibly relieved by the professionalism and understanding of Tony Reyes at Metropolitan Ford! I wanted a used 2006 RAV4 and was nervous that they'd be pushy or try to get me to look at more expensive cars. It was my 5th Explorer and Marc was fabulous - he knew that I knew what I wanted and he wasn't pushy - like a stereotypical car salesman - he got all the info I needed quickly, searched out options through out the Ford system; got me financing info quickly - that was thorough and easy to understand. He pulled together all my options, costs, etc. and quickly and fairly cut me a very deal for my new 2015 Ford Explorer. It was a very pleasant and easy experience dealing with Marc Navai and Metro - but the best thing about the whole experience was how much time Marc personally spent with me making sure I understood how all of the new systems on my car - especially how all the Sync features worked. Since I am technically challenged, I really appreciated Mark's patience, calm and thorough explanations on how everything worked and his concern that I really did understand all the features. It really topped of my whole great experience in purchasing my new car from Marc and Metro. I have since referred several people to him for new cars. I dealt with Mike in Service he was really nice and seemed to be doing right by my family and I but his Technicians are GARBAGE and every seal and gasket they put in needed to be replaced in the first 6 months after service was leaking like a sieve. I own a 2004 Ford Escape and all of their "Technicians" are supposed to "Factory Trained" that is a joke over $2000 down the drain and when I called about it after taking it to another Mechanic to look at it to make sure they told me it had to my fault and they were not responsible for the leaks. Well $1,700 later(Over $400 Cheaper then Metro Ford) at Certified Auto Repair in Spring Park,MN they replaced the seals/gaskets and warrantied their work for 24,000 Miles or 2 years. Now that is service!! Metro Ford lost my business for eternity and I will NEVER Recommend them to anyone not even my worst enemy... So Aggravating.

Steve was wonderful to work with. He is very personable and took the time to show us everything we needed to know about our 2007 Ford Edge. When we realized that our CD player wasn't taking CDs in or out, Steve made sure that he did eveything he could to get it replaced/fixed for us at no charge. The service dept was great in helping get it fixed. All of the employees that we worked with were very friendly. All in all, a great experience!

As the title suggests, this was my first car purchase. I went onto the lot looking at the Fiesta initially and was met by Ilaisa, who suggested I look at the Focus and informed me of rebates and such that I had not previously been aware of. He helped me get into a nicer car than I thought I could afford in the color I wanted. Overall, a very positive experience and highly recommended!

I had been working with another dealership about leasing a 2014 Ford Edge and when i called Metropolitan Ford they investigated what i was getting quoted and found out I was being quoted a FWD Edge when i wanted AWD. When they got done pricing out the lease for me they were only a few dollars higher than what the other dealership wanted but the biggest difference was Metropolitan Ford was quoting me a 2014 Ford Edge Limited that was absolutely loaded. Well there was no question of who i was going to use. Tony my salesman was really great, he answered any question i had about leasing as i had never leased before. He took all the time i needed to go over all the features of my new Edge and it was well past the dealership closing time when we got through. I was very impressed and would recommend them to anyone.

Jerry, Steve, Brandon and Patrick were all great to work with, and we purchased a 2014 Ford Escape on 8//21/14. Our only suggestion would be to give buyers an overview of all the extra service options before the day of signing, which we would have found very helpful in deciding our financing. It was hard to do this at the last minute, but if we'd had the options to look at beforehand, we could have better figured out what to prepare for out-of-pocket at signing. We had to wait several days for the vehicle we wanted, which was no problem, but we would have used that time to talk at home and make some financial decisions a bit better. It would also have speeded up the final process. We've had the vehicle for 2 full days and are almost in need of a tank of gas, as we've been enjoying driving it around and showing it off!

We bought our 2014 Focus in October of 2013. Our salesmen was good, although he had absolutely no product knowledge and couldn't even show us how to properly use any of he features on the vehicle. Along with the purchase we got their coupon book for Service and oil changes. Once the car hit 5k miles we brought it in for an oil change. A week or so later we brought it back wondering why the interior of the car constantly smelled of oil. They discovered the lube tech didn't put the dip stick back in and it had sprayed oil all over the motor and heat shield. The Service Manager degreased the engine but refused to replace the heat shield which is still soaked in oil. We gave them a second chance and decided to bring our Chevy in for an oil change today. The bill for our oil change was an outrageous $95 (w/coupon, $16 off). After walking next door to Suburban Chev. I found out the same oil change would have cost about $40 less! Not to mention, the extra money I had to spend on a new wiper blade that yet another lube tech broke. Needless to say, we will never go to Metropolitan Ford again for a new car purchase or service.

I called in the morning for a few minor issues with my Ford Freestar and they said come right in. One thing I like about working with Todd in service is that he gives me good information about the problems so that I can make a decision whether to move forward with any work. I trust this service and have used them for years. I bought my last two cars here. My problem is with Ford's decision to discontinue the FreeStar line of vehicles. I'm waiting Ford. Toyota is starting to look good. I will miss Metropolitan Ford's service department if I am forced to switch brands. Thanks Todd for your good care.

We recently bought a new 2013 Ford C-Max and all went well except the following: The car was listed on the internet and when I first called I was transfered to one of two gentlemen listed that handled internet sales. I left a message saying I wanted to BUY a car they had listed and to please call me back as they weren't available to take my call. I never received a return call. I called back and left a message for the second internet sales guy stating I wanted to BUY a car they had listed. Never was called back. I called the third time and asked the receptionist to please connect me with somebody that would sell me a car. She connected me with Bobby Schulze. From that point on everything went very well. Me and the family went to Metropolitan Ford to buy a use suv. Upon our arrival we had to wait 20 minutes to get the truck so we could test drive it. Fianlly we were allowed to test drive it,only to notice how dirty the interior was. Not super dirty but,for a car just recently "detailed" from a dealership no less it was quite filty. After showing the Bank of America pre approval letter we were told to fill out another credit application or we would have to wait a week or so to get the suv! (something to the effect "that's just a piece of paper" not an approval! and we need to verify who you are! and the only way to do that is for you fill out a credit application! really? "Anyone could come in here with a piece of paper and drive off with a new car!" said the "Finance ManagerSo after a wasted argument with the "Finance Manager" my wife filled out a credit application.An hour later he comes back and with a evilish grin he looks at me and says" All is well"Two and half hours with a preapproval and we finally leave with our used truck..........gas tank almost empty!What happened to customer service?

Tony did a great job, first figuring out what I actually wanted. That sounds funny, as I thought I knew on several occasions, but I really didn't, as there are a lot of choices. Then, he found the car and got it here. The car is beautiful and loaded with everything, just like I wanted. I appreciate Tony's patience with me and for educating me on the available options before I decided on a car, as well as how to use all those features once I took delivery of the vehicle. It's only be 2 days, but I haven't had any issues or difficulty using all the high tech features, including the turn by turn voice guided navigation features and other voice activated controls, radio weather forecast, etc. ...and Tony set up my smartphone to work hands/voice activated in a heartbeat and it works seamlessly. :o)Thanks Tony

My Husband's vehicle was totaled parked in from of our house on Memorial weekend causing is to need another vehicle. He called me within an hour and said he was done looking and found the perfect used SUV. We returned on Saturday to purchase the new (to us) vehicle. Bobby was a pleasure to deal with. We had our son's 202 Explorer in for service due to dead battery. It was thought that the issue was a door switch that allowed the dome lights to stay on when locked. The switch was replaced and the battery charged. We took the vehicle home and the next morning the battery was dead again. I was at work and my wife was out of town, so I called the dealership and said they needed to pick the vehicle up and fix it. They towed it to the dealership and kept overnight to ensure they found the issue. They replaced the battery, which we paid for however the dealership covered the towing and additional diagnostics. Overall I have been satisfied with this dealership over the past 6 years or so.

My sweet, trusting senior citizen neighbor stopped in to this dealership because she felt like there may be something wrong with her beloved Ford Escort. They told her that it was a blown head gasket (not a terribly expensive fix). Eventually talking her into a brand new vehicle. They gave her only $500 for her trade in, less that a week later they are asking more than $10,000 for the same car! They saw her as an easy person to take advantage of, so trusting & pretty clueless about buying a car. DO NOT send your loved ones here, You will regret recommending them. This is not the first story of dishonesty that I have heard about from Grossman dealerships & I am sure it will not be the last!

My husband Joe called Jerry Chapman to ask for help purchasing a car. Jerry was going to be off on Friday and made arrangements for his son Bret to help us out. Called the dealership on Friday at 4:45 to discuss a truck I saw on the cars.com website. Told them I was interested and would be stopping in to look maybe Monday or Tuesday due to weekend plans. Decided to go first thing in the morning on Saturday to look, drive, and purchase the truck (40 minute drive). I was there 15 minutes after they opened. Walked in and no one addressed me for a couple minutes. Finally, a gentleman, asked if he could help. After telling him the about the truck I was looking for and walking me over to the salesman I had called spoke to the night before, Jon (salesman) they told me that the truck was sent to auction. Nothing after that, just a blank stare. Stood there for about a minute, and just walked out. The person sitting by the door said they had other trucks but this dealership won't be getting a dime of my money.

I have only purchased one other new car in my 44 years. However, I was with my fiancee when he purchased his new vehicle two years ago; it literally took the entire Saturday. Now it was my turn and I expected the worst. I knew which vehicle we were going to buy but I hadn't narrowed down a dealership. Obviously price was my driving force. Tony Reyes returned my call about a vehicle on their lot that matched the type of vehicle I wanted as well as my price point. From that initial conversation, I was comfortable and felt like I was dealing with a "fair" salesman. Tony listened to my needs and answered all my questions. He knew I meant business about getting my money's worth and even forwarded me the dealer's invoice so I could see what Ford paid for that particular vehicle. He also knew I was traveling from Woodbury and didn't want my time wasted with empty promises. When my fiancee and I arrived at the dealership that night, Tony had the vehicle ready and waiting for our test drive. Next came the negotiating. Tony was up front via our many emails throughout the day, that he had some "wiggle room" to work with and even was honest about how much that term meant in the form of dollars. I truly wasn't expecting much of a fight about the price and I was right. Within 15 minutes we had an agreement and the car was mine!I cannot say enough great things about the finance department at this dealership. I had come to the dealership already pre-approved through my credit union. However, Ford actually found me a lower rate with another bank! All-in-all, my experience with this dealership, in general and Tony Reyes, in particular was nothing short of pleasant! I will recommend them to friends and family that are in the market for a new car!

This is my first time buying a new car and all those rumors about if you're not careful, the dealerships will rip you off scared me a bit. However when I went into the Ford dealership, Brandon was exceptional helpful and nice. I think he knew I was nervous and he tried really hard to put me at ease. Everyone was professional and polite and very friendly. I went in with a car in mind and Brandon helped me get the best possible option. He was not pushy which I liked. The process went so fast and painless I couldn't believe it. I thought it would take close to 4 hours but I was out of there within 2 hours. This couldn't have happened without the help of my friendly dealer Brandon. The car I wanted wasn't at the dealership but they were able to procure it for me within two days. And when I came to pick up my car, Brandon had everything ready and set to go. Not only that but he took the time to explain the features of my car to me. I didn't expect this part, I thought I would just come and pick up my car and go but he took a good while making sure that I didn't have any questions about my car. This was by far the smoothest experience Ive ever had at a dealership. This is the third car that I have purchased from Metropolitan Ford and every experience has been great. I was very nervous about what I would qualify for if anything because I had recently had to file for bankruptcy. Im not sure what magic happened behind the scenes but Brandon got me into a car that had everything I wanted and then some! I am so grateful to Brandon and the awesome team at Metropolitan Ford! Ilaisa was extremely amicable, and wasn't overly pushy, which was nice. But when I told him about the other makes and models I was considering, he didn't offer anything about the Ford I was driving to sell me on buying it instead of going somewhere else. He also didn't really try to sell me the car at all - no information about drivetrain, quality of build, cool features. nada. We took a very short test drive (no pre-planned route to demonstrate ride quality and the like), at which point I asked him point blank what he could tell me about the car. Nada. Again, very pleasant guy, but he definitely didn't sell me on the brand or the car.I did like that the finance guys offered a very aggressive number on my trade-in.

In Oct. 2009 I pulled into Metropolatin Ford and was met in the parking lot by Denny Goodman. A few hours later I left with a 2010 Fusion SE. I was impressed with Ford in general and found Denny to be very helpful to me while deciding what to buy. Since then I have been impressed with the Service Department so on 1/2/2014 I called Metropolitan and asked for Denny hoping that he was still working there. Soon he called back and late in the afternoon we got together and about dinner time we completed the paperwork on a 2014 Fusion Titanium. I picked it up the next morning and Denny explained all the controls to me. I expect that I will continue to be provided good service on the two Fusions and I hope Denny will still be there when I want to buy a new car again.

Very fast,but felt long... felt pressure to buy that moment........did not want silver trim,as I asked and mentioned, but is still great looking truck. Friendly people, just nervous about the truck for I've had major issues with my other Fords.......but feel Confident for is brand new and I will take care of it. Out the door with a new F150 in hours! rides really nice,accelerates fast with eco boost and features very nice! So far am happy,,, have to go back for under coating, interior protection, so hopefully good fast service continuesThanks!

Ilaisa was upfront with me, as I was with him. I told him he was my first stop and I was going to go to another dealership after Ford. He made sure that I got all the rebates and help me upgrade with the undercoating and the 3M hood protection. I almost walked out because I was there first thing in the morning and nobody asked if I needed help. I was headed to the door when Ilaisa approached me. I never did get to the other dealership, so I would say Ilaisa did a very fine job, plus your location is about 10 min. from where I live.

BAIT AND SWITCH alive and well here. AVOID this dealer.This dealership has three prices for their cars. the internet price, the newspaper ad price and the real price when you get into the dealership.Contacted them for a low mileage used Lexus . test drove it next morning and tried to make a deal but the price was $3K MORE than newspaper ad and $2K less than the internet price. tried to tell me they had a lot of interest, so we left to try other cars.Called back later that day, they wanted to make a deal. I mentioned the newspaper ad, and salesman (Tony) said "come on in on Monday..."Sent spouse in to test drive it again... And I show up to close the deal, but low and behold, the used car Manager mike Nelson comes over and tells meth e newspaper ad price was a mistake... Best he can do was the original price offered on first visit.My response to this ploy, was to suggest that he got me there under false pretense. I was willing to pay more than the newspaper ad price, but less than his much higher internet price. He refused to acknowledge his mistake, and refused to take less for the car. Okay. His right to do that, but tells you what this dealer is all about. Bait and switch... The newspaper ad reps fault.... Buy it anyway at our price, because we are selling it lower than it really is worth and you want the car badly...I walked, bought the exact same car at Inver Grove Toyota dealership for my price, and had a delightful experience with a legit dealer the next morning.Left a message for the general manager at Met Ford about the experience....still waiting for a call back. I won't be holding my breath...AVOID Metropolitan Ford. These people are clowns.

My car was totaled in a crash and Deano (Dean La Fleur) helped me find the SUV that I was looking for and helped me get a great price and financing. I was a mess after the crash and he was so friendly and easy going, so it helped me relax a lot. When I told him my max for spending and max total per month he helped make it happen. I walked out with keys to a brand new Ford Escape! I couldn't be happier with the experience. Even though they get paid on commission he was patient and didn't pressure me at all. Sales guys were very nice and honest. Finance guy was very humorous but professional. Doug, the sales guy that made the sale on me worked hard to get me a good price on purchase and trade in. Not pushy on the sale. Only down fall...what happened to filling purchased vehicle with gas?? Dealerships not do this anymore? When I test drove the car, barely any gas and then when purchased vehicle and was handed the keys, sales guy said they put some gas in it for me. I only live about 25 miles west of dealership and gas light came on before I even got home! They didn't add any gas....I do love my new vehicle tho!

Before I purchased my new Ford Explorer, I contacted several dealers via e-mail. All three responded to my email but two of the three were quoting me on inventory that was "in stock" and not what I wanted. Tony was the only one who took my specs and priced out the exact vehicle I wanted. He was honest and told me that what I wanted would be a factory order which would take several weeks. He also made sure that I got all of the current Ford rebates which made the deal even better.When I met Tony to order the vehicle and later to pick it up, his service was excellent. I would definately recommend him to family and friends.

My brother Keith has bought several vehicles with Tony Reyes as his sales person. He always highly recommended Tony to me. My wife had made up her mind on a 2014 Explorer with the color Sunset. I met with Tony Reyes and made a deal on one that had the options and color we wanted. The vehicle was located at Superior Ford a sister dealership to Metropolitan. Initially we were not able to get the vehicle so Tony ordered it, as Superior had interest by two people on the vehicle we wanted. Tony and the Sales Manager noticed the vehicle was not sold a week later and were able to bring it down to Metropolitan for us. We were extremely satisfied with the work they did to get the vehicle from Superior for us. I would highly recommend Tony Reyes to anyone. He took a lot of time explaining all of the options in the vehicle and how to use them before we drove off. Outstanding job Tony! I now know why Keith ends up with a new vehicle so often. Tony, you were a delight to work with.

In general, my experience at this dealership was acceptable. The only sticking point is that I purchased a demo car with miles on the car and have since discovered that I was not given a proper discount for the mileage.Initially, I was disappointed in their unwillingness to negotiate on the car price or the extended warranty. In retrospect, if there had been zero miles on the car (thus no discount for existing miles) the deal would have been good based on comparisons to other dealers. As it turned out, I think their discount for existing mileage on the vehicle should have been much more. I am not sure if there was anything they weren't telling me, but Tony was transparent enough to show me the actual invoice detailing their holdback amount and employee pricing on the vehicle. I really appreciate that. Once the negotiation was complete, I was impressed at the time Tony took to explain every aspect of the car's features in detail. He was also very responsive to emails throughout the process. If you go in more informed than I was on the value of a demo car, then I think you will be more satisfied as Tony conducts himself with a great deal of professionalism and courtesy.

They were very willing to work with me to get me into the vehicle of my choice. After choosing a vehicle and signing all the papers, but NOT taking delivery, I changed my mind the next day deciding I wanted a different engine package. Rather than tell me it was a done deal and there was nothing they could do, they found the same vehicle, same options, with the engine package I wanted, that could be delivered that same day. This required them to cancel the original order, and start over with a new round of paperwork. They were more than willing to do this to satisfy me as a customer. This is good service.

It was considerate for Dan to propose a time for me to come in when he could service me right away. I was not kept waiting. In less than 3 hours the team was able to assist me with a reasonable trade value, test drive, locate a car that fit my criteria and get through the paperwork. I did not feel pressured at all and I really appreciated that they did not waste my time with the typical back and forth negotiation game. I am quite pleased. This is the fourth car I have purchased from Metropolitan Ford and I will be back again with the same expectations next time.

I was at Metropolitan Ford looking at the 2013 Ford Edge Limited. Ilasia was there as soon as we pulled into the lot, ready to assist and answer questions while on the test drive. I decided to part with the Mazda. It was time to upgrade I am very happy with my service and with my car. Thank you.

The decision to purchase and research vehicles was way more excruciating than the process of purchasing it. The dealership was fair and open about everything and the negotiating and paper process did not take long. I appreciated getting into a Truck I was comfortable in, rather than having a sales person trying to push me into something they were interested in moving off the lot.

I was uncertain if wanted to trade our Ford Taurus in, so drove thru the parking lot at Metropolitan Ford in Eden Prairie yesterday to see if another vehicle caught my attention. Salesman by name of Cliff Jager came over after a bit and mentioned if I had any questions or wished to look at a vehicle, to just let him know. Two hours later I drove away with a 2007 Ford Edge! Cliff was totally respectful, no pressure whatsoever, and easy to talk to and work with! He listened to what I was looking for and then found the perfect fit for me. As a female, was a bit nervous looking around on my own, but he put me at ease instantly! Very pleased with the vehicle I purchased, the way I was treated, and will certainly bring it back for any service needed. I highly recommend asking for Cliff if you're looking at buying a vehicle at this dealership!

I drove three and a half hours to test drive the F150 I had in mind. I was in and out of there in less than two hours...that includes inspecting and test-driving the vehicle, dickering and transferring title paperwork. Found the sales team to be kind, courteous and professional. Price is relative to me. It's either good or it's bad. It was good and I am happy with my F150.

I found a used auto on the internet and contacted the dealer via the internet link. I heard back from Dan the next business day, first thing. Within 2 hours I was driving away in my new/used car. Hands down this was the best car buying experience I've ever had. I worked with Jerry Chapman and he was upfront and honest with all my questions about buying new or used. He was very knowledgeable about the how the market is today. We went out on a test drive and showed me all the features. I wasn't sure of what color vehicle to get and we went out to the lot and looked at other colors. We went through a long process of looking at weather buying or leasing is a better option. He showed me with paper and pen the differences and then got a computer printout after we were close to a deal. He was able to get me a little more on my trade in as I felt it was worth more than what they were first offering. We closed the deal and I asked if we could finish it up on another day as I had never planned to purchase a vehicle that day but he made the process so easy. I came back a couple of days later to pick it up and I was in and out of there in a short time. He was very busy as it was a Saturday and he asked another salesperson to go over syncing my phone to the vehicle and going over the last few details. I truly appreciated him doing that as the last thing I wanted to do on the first day it hit 70 degrees out was sit and wait at a dealership for him to get free. It was a great experience considering I never planned to buy a vehicle that day and I havent looked back and my new Explorer is Awesome. I came in without an appointment to check on a knocking sound coming from the back half of the vehicle. I was told they could check it out right away and that I might be asked to pay as much as $94 to diagnose the issue. I would then have the option to be taken back to work or wait to have it fixed. I was fine with that and went to the waiting room. After 90 minutes without anyone letting me know what was happening, I went out to get an update. The car was fixed within the $94 diagnosis window, I paid and was on my way. My only minor issue is that it would have been nice to get an update prior to 90 minutes so I would have the choice of continuing to wait or request a ride to my office to return later.

I give the repair work 5 but that will only tell with time. I mentioned a noise and we'll see what happens. But I was given future options if it doesn't go away. But as far as diagnosis and suggestions I was satisfied.

I came in and did not have an appointment and Todd was very gracious about helping me and did not seem iritated that I didn't have an appointment but to go in the other lane next time as I was in the repair lane. I didn't have to wait long and the oil and tires were rotated and the car was washed. I enjoyed my people watching in the new lounge.

The dealership offered me 1/2 price to buy it back. ARE YOU JOKING! What kind of good faith dealership is this? The general manager will not return my call. Let the games begin... We came in to the dealership just to look around. We met Steve Evans who warmly welcomed us to the dealership and as soon as we told him what he had in mind, he took us out to lot and showed us the new 2013 Ford Fusion and we instantly fell in love. We new within 5 minutes that was the car for us. Steve set us up for a test drive and we were on the road driving what we hoped to be our new car within 10 minutes. After our test drive, we new we were getting this car. My boyfriend and myself filled out a joint loan application and were getting distressed when our lack of credit due to being so young was holding us back from getting our dream car. Steve kept me calm and and assured me there was no way we weren't leaving the dealership without that car. The financial rep Torrey came out to ask us some more questions and told us that maybe since we had limited credit we could lease instead of own. I knew that leasing was not a right option for us so we had to tell Torrey we had to walk away, Torrey asked us if he could submit our loan application once more to FORD Credit and we said sure, why not. I am SO SO SO GLAD we let that last app go through because 30 minutes later we were walking out of the door with our brand new 2013 ford fusion. I can not comment enough on how great these guys are! We were welcomed the second we walked in the door, and treated with 5 stars the entire time we were there. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone. The customer service is phenomenal! Thank you so much to everyone at Metropolitan Ford for everything you did for us. We love our new car!

However, they did not apologize. The tough thing is we have very busy schedule heightened by a big purchase, we felt like they didn't care and that we shouldn't care about this.

We were looking here for a later-model Ford Escape and found a beauty here. In the process, we were helped twice by Bozidar (Beau) Petrashek. He was friendly and professional and gave us his time without a bit of sales pressure. When we found a car we were interested in, he took us inside to look up the Carfax and other documents. He also reminded us to check the online price, which was $1,000 less than the price on the lot! The one time we went and Beau wasn't available, another very helpful and friendly salesperson showed us what we wanted to see and made an effort for us to connect with our original salesman. If we had not found a hybrid at another dealership, I think we were ready to buy the car we'd found at Metropolitan. The sales staff who worked with us are courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They, Beau especially, make the process easy and--yes--even enjoyable.

Every time I go to Metropolitan Ford I have a great experience. All the salespeople are friendly. Bret Chapman has been especially helpful and you can tell he really enjoys getting people the perfect car for their specific needs. I get oil changes there rather than dealerships or garages closer to my house, because the prices are so much cheaper and the service department is not pushy about getting things done at all! (If you have a used car, you know what I mean!) I will definitely go back there to purchase my next car! Already planning on leasing a vehicle from them next. The prices are so reasonable and end up being much cheaper than owning.

I bought my 2010 Focus new from Metro Ford in October of 2010. Buying experience was good, I had no issues. When I took my car in for the first oil change, the mechanic found that it was leaking oil. No one in the service department notified me of this issue, I learned of it by reading my paperwork after I had already gotten home. I have had my car into Metro Ford 5 times to address oil leaks (and numerous other leaks and problems) and they have struggled to fix the problem. They even replaced the engine and 3 leaks occured on the 2nd engine. Each time I had my car in for an oil change, they found another leak. Each time, no one notified me and instead I had to read about it on the paperwork. The last time I was in for an oil change (and the only reason I keep going back is because my car is under warranty), I watched numerous other customers interact with the oil change crew. Each customer was greated by name, and someone sat down and discussed details of what was going on with their cars. Each customer was notified of their car being complete within minutes of it being parked outside, they all received great service. I, however, did not get the same treatment. My car was parked outside for over 20 minutes before someone came to notify me. I was not notified by name (the mechanic asked who had a black fusion, no one answered, he asked what car I had, I said a black focus. He replied "yeah I think that's what this car is"). When I asked if there were any issues with my car, specificially around oil leaks, his response was "I don't think so". For some reason, they seem to provide great service to other customers, but I can't get the same treatment. I plan to trade in my car in the next couple months and couldn't be happier that I NEVER have to deal with this service department again.

I was pretty amazed at how he could remember all the information we gave him about how we planned to use the car and this led to him showing us additional features on the car that would make our life better/easier.We definitely would come back to work with Beau.

Worked with John B. at Metro Ford and had a great experience. Very friendly, low-pressure and took the time to answer our questions and make sure we understood everything before we signed any papers. Unlike some salesmen, he did not pressure us or seem "offended" (for lack of a better term) when we left the lot to talk and think about a potential purchase. Would definitely recommend & will go back next time we are looking. :)

my son bought a used car from this dealership and they were very nice to him, both the finance manager and the salesman, shook my hand and told me I should be VERY PROUD of my son, he saved his money and has a very good credit rating "something you don't see much of these days" I forgot to mention, that my son went to vocational school to become a certified mechanic,yes,I am very proud of him! It's to bad that they totally took him to the cleaners----- he has had to replace the catalytic convertor and now, it is in for a new transmission.He bought this POS less than 8 months ago. NO.. I would not recommend that you buy a used car here, unless you have a unlimited source of repair cash!

I worked with Mike Nelson on the purchase of a 2011 Expedition and found him to be fair and very acccomodating. I enjoyed the no nonsense approach to completing the transaction. I live in Kansas so I did everything using the web and the phone so I didn't get to experience the dealership, but I assume if Mike is indicative of the organization it is well run and successful. Here is my story about how this dealership rips off customers from its salesman, sales manager and general manager: On 9/24, I gave the salesman Suresh a deal and put down $2000 deposit under his promise of delivering MSO with the vehicle. A week later, Suresh told me he made a wrong promise because he could not deliver MSO. Even not my fault, on the same day I still made another attempt to save the deal for the salesman but within hours I realized it didnt work. So I asked for deposit refund and he promised the refund would be issued within 24 hours. Then, no refund came no matter how many time I called and emailed for a month I was simply ignored. Out of frustration, I called the sales manager Eric. To my surprise, that guy told me they offered refund but I made a second purchase attempt which took more than a week and it incurred them significant cost so he decided to reject my deposit refund request! A big lie by the sales manager! I have the email proof that my second attempt only lasted a couple of hours on the same day I asked for refund! As a last resort, I forwarded the email proof to their general manager Jack for help. Then, I was simply ignored as well! Note they were selling me a thousand dollar above MSRP for the high demanding Raptor truck because they said it took them no time to sell it at this price. How come it incurred them such high cost from not selling the truck? Later I bought one from another dealer for a thousand below MSRP! Here is my feedback for this dealership:(1) Make false promise to cheat customers or they have no idea what they are doing(2) Overcharge customers(3) The dealership management denies the truth and rips off customers I have worked with many dealerships but have never seen one like this treating customer badly and unfaithfully from sales to management!

I came in on Saturday for an oil change and tire rotation on my 2009 Fusion. I went to talk to Jerry 'cuz I hadn't talked to him in awhile (I've been buying cars from him since 1991). I just asked him if it was too soon to start thinking about a new lease and he took care of the rest. Within an hour, I was walking out with Jerry on the hunt for my car. Much to my surprise, he called me early afternoon on Monday to say that he had my car. Jerry (and team) made the entire process effortless and unstressful.

I was able to leave my car overnight for a Monday morning repair without having to make an appointment. The car's brakes were of concern to me and I was having issues with them Sunday evening. The convenience of being able to drop the car off unexpectedly and have the repair completed the next day was very important to me. Thank you Metropolitan Ford, Eden Prairie.

I waqs not informed that the warranty from an outside company did not cover all of the expense, as implied. This should have been made clear to me before any work was done. Your hourly rate and parts prices were well above the warranty guidelines. If I would have been made aware of this I would have asked the warranty company where to take the car for the needed repairs that would complete them within the range of the expected pricing. When I brought this to Scott's attention he indicated he would "discuss this" with someone (Todd?) and get back to me. No one called me back, Disappointing...

I have bought a few cars from this dealership and the most recent one was with a new salesperson. She is new and was so pleasant. We test drove a couple of trucks and could've driven more, but I found the one I wanted. Jennifer fought for me so I didn't have to. When the numbers were run, my trade value came in $100 under fair BB. (I had some rust on it) They gave me quite a bit off in rebates and a dealership discount. Financing was great and even knocked off some for the protection package. I have read all opposites on here of what I experienced. If you don't believe me, call Jennifer Tom or Mike in finance. They were really nice to work with. I have even had 2 phone calls since buying 2 weeks ago making sure I am so happy. Really cool~

I bought a 05 Mustang in 2005 from this dealership - it was my first new car purchase. I was satisfied at the time b/c I loved the car and didn't even think it was possible to have it coming in to the dealership, so accepted whatever rates, etc they offered, but a couple years later when I was trying to sell my car (only trying to get enough to cover the rest of my loan) I realized that I had been screwed b/c the price I got was close to MSRP, and they had tacked on about $3,000 worth of that extra crap (MPP, disability insurance, extended warranty). So I went back in June 07 to buy a new Mustang with my mind set on getting the best price and not opting for any of that extra crap which was worthless to me in the end anyway. It was a bad idea to come on a weeknight around 8 PM. We were tired and we were anxious to get home (and had to meet the guy who was buying our old car too to give it to him). Our salesman was not very pushy in our buy a car (that's good), as we came in with the idea that we would buy it and knew exactly what we wanted. We figured we would be nice easy customers for him. He did talk things up a bit, he said adding a spoiler would be under $200 but in the end it turned out it was $400. Anyway, that was not a big deal, as the price of the spoiler was added into the price of the car, not a separate item we could really dispute. The price he gave us was good for a V6 premium w/ heated leather seats - $19,750. We agreed and he proceeded to talk to us about the MPP package (special treatment on the paint to guard against rust, etc - for $900!). We are only planning on having this car a couple years and we knew it was a total waste of money, we kept declining and he kept pushing us. We never actually agreed, he just ignored our "no's" and sent us off to the financing guy, Torrey. He was not a bad guy, showed us the other "extras" they offered, which we declined. We also told him we actually do not want the MPP, as Mike had added it to our purchase price. He said hold on, he found a mistake in the paperwork and had to go talk to Mike. Somehow they figured out that the $19750 already included MPP so we're getting a great deal and should just accept it. It was 10 PM by this time, we said ok fine, and bought the car. They said they would go have it detailed and filled with gas (it was almost completely empty so our test drive was really short!) and we waited. Finally we got our car, and as soon as we got in we noticed nothing was cleaned and the gas was on empty still. There was no one left at the dealership to complain to so we just went ahead and drove to the nearest gas station then drove home. To make a long story short, the car is fine, but we contacted the dealership later that week to cancel the $900 MPP. They first said "No" when we came in and brought up this excuse that they had accidentally applied a $1750 discount twice so we're getting an awesome deal and they can't afford to lose any more money. We went home and then emailed them a long email about how it is not our fault that they accidentally did that, and that if the MPP is a cancellable service (it hadn't been done to the car yet) then there is no excuse for us to not be able to cancel it. We got no response and called them a few days later - they said OK they will cancel it. I have yet to see the refund. We had went to other dealerships like Dodge and Mazda recently, and the service is completely different. They are more upfront and bring you out the financial information right away (interest rates, what type of payments you'll have, etc) instead of slipping it in at the end. Ford didn't even ask how many months loan we want or let us know what APR we're looking at until the truth in lending paperwork came out. I admit we made some mistakes here, but we tried our best and felt bullied. I'd advise to steer clear of this one.

I bought a Ford Focus wagon from these inept bozos and regret it every time I have to go back there. First, they tried to con me out of their "extended maintanance plan," which is basically free oil-change/check up every 5K miles. I now realize that plan is worthless. Every time I have to in there, I have to wait at least 90 minutes for an oil change. This last time, when it got to be 2 hours after my appointment time and still no car, I started complaining. They huffed and told me I needed to talk to Jerry (Marcotte). Mysteriously, Jerry could not be found. When I finally got my car, still no Jerry. The worst was that I had to get a new exhaust system (muffler and pipes) put in after 10K miles. As if that itself wasn't bad enough, I had to go back three times (!) before they finally had the right parts to install. Each time, I'd wait an hour, then the guy would tell me, "I've got some bad news..." Honestly, on the third visit they still didn't have the right part and gave me a rental car for the day. Whoopee. I do like my Focus, but would never, ever suggest this dealership to anyone.
