The dealership took care of all of my needs before, during and after the sale. I can tell you, I have bought many cars and this was one of the smoothest purchases to date. 1999 ISUZU VEHICROSS **** SUPER RARE *** 1 OWNER *** 1 OF ONLY 900 MADE!!! COMPLETELY SERVICED AND INSPECTED / DETAILED / 100% READY TO GO! First, the postive. The two gentlemen were very nice (even leading us onto the Nachez Trace in order for us to not get lost, as it was five hour round trip and we needed to get home before dark). I also sincerely doubt either salesmen had ever driven the vehicle. Now the bad. "Completely serviced, inspected, and 100% ready to go. ???? Really? I drove the Vehicross advertised about five miles and the tranny slammed almost every time upshifting from 1st to 2nd gear. A common problem with these vehicles, along with the power windows....which, by the way, the vehicle was in the shop with that particular problem being repaired. As for the salesmanship.... What does one say in response to, "well, it's a gamble." What does that mean? I ignored the statement., as he didn't look as if he felt well. The worst pitch was, "it's better than a four wheeler." NO. For that amt. of money I could get a new, top o' the line one and I wouldn't be tossed out of the seat when accelerating. Still, not too bothersome, except the next salesperson got into the vehicle and said it was probably the "shocks" making the noise....hmmm. I'd already described when the "bumping" took place, and though I could have been wrong, it certainly wasn't the shocks. He did admit it sounded like the tranny when he heard it. Do salesmen think women know "nothing" about the inner workings of a car? Silly question. We just care about the color. Most upsetting was that my edlerly aunt and mother made the two+ hour trip with me and were exhausted. We wouldn't have bothered if the info had simply been correct. In conclustion, as nice as the men were, I would have a hard time doing business with this dealership.
