I came across Jerry Johnson's name while service the internet for info on purchasing an extended warranty for a Toyota 4Runner. He gave us the best price over several other dealers and made the purchase much more affordable. He was patient with my multiple questions and returned emails/phone calls promptly. He also stated when we would receive paperwork from him and he was spot on. It was a pleasure to give the business to someone who truly wanted it.

I took my 2013 Toyota Venza in because the clearcoat began to peel. Since I did not purchase the vehicle from Midwest, I was told they would not assist me with Toyota, even though they had numerous other vehicles with the same issue. The body shop manager's even went so far as to blatantly tell me the vehicle had been wrecked (clean car fax) and insult the dealership I purchased from. After a very frustrating exchange in which he basically told me that I was ignorant, I informed him that if the vehicle had been wrecked and not reported, it was prior to the dealer I purchased from obtaining through Toyota at their auction and would constitute fraud. He finally admitted that they would not help me since I did not buy from them. The dealer I did buy from fixed the paint issue at no charge and will warranty it as long as I own the vehicle. I would NEVER spend a dime with Midwest after this.

The '06 Toyota Prius we bought new at this dealership is a great car (205K miles now), serviced always at Midwest. What's happening in the Service Department the past year or so though?A few months after they replaced the starter battery, the car began to have erratic electrical problems, no-starts and display errors. Service department kept the car for 3 days, and gave me a nice loaner vehicle, but no fix. Later they kept it for a week and called in the "field service consultant", gave me a nice loaner vehicle, ...and still no fix.My trusty Prius finally stranded me in Colorado Springs, with no-start and no-entry, just miles from the Toyota dealership. Within the hour the Larry Miller Toyota Service Department found the problem to be the nut missing off the starter battery clamp bolt.Weeks ago, Midwest Service department installed new tires on the car and left me satisfied with the price and pro-ration on the mileage of the last tires they sold me. Last week I found that I was missing a lug nut. When I then checked all the lug nuts, I found at least one loose nut on every wheel. Jim did give me a new lug nut for no charge.

First, I want to thank Tim Traylor for setting me up with the AWESOME Curtis Cleveland who sold me not one, but two brand new vehicles!!! I knew when Tim set me up with Curtis that he only would make sure I had first rate service all the way around and that is exactly what I received. Coupled with the tremendous financial work of Tracey Dean, these guys show the rest of the dealerships how to work as a team. I have already vowed to return again for my next new purchases in the near future because I know I will only receive the best of what they have to offer!!! Thank you so much CURTIS CLEVELAND, TIM TRAYLOR AND TRACEY DEAN!!! I will be back!

I worked on a new Ford truck with Curtis Cleveland. This was a refreshing experience for a car purchase! Curtis was completely honest and extremely helpful throughout the transaction. "Courteous and Creative Curtis" is the best way to describe him. I have purchased many new vehicles in my life but never worked with a sales person as straight forward as Curtis.

Drove all the way from Wichita, KS to see whether Midwest Toyota could give me a better price on a vehicle, and was insulted by a sales manager. I did my research on the vehicle, and when we offered the price, the so called "sales-manager" told us that if we could find the vehicle at that price, tell him, and he will buy 10 of them. His commentary was unnecessary and extremely rude, a simple "No, sorry, we can't do that price." would be enough. However, the salesman was very nice. I will NOT recommend Midwest Toyota to any of my friends or family members.

Tracey Dean met us as we pulled up. Was very friendly. We told him what we wanted and he showed us what he had. We test drove a few cars and settled on one. He said if I ever had any problems to give him a call, day or night. Would totally deal with him again.

Mr. Dean went above and beyond in customer service to my wife and myself. He personally towed in my vehicle with his vehicle in the service center and provided great customer service. Ms. Mckenney, our cashier, also provided great customer service by getting us a great price on our keys that we had made for our ford mustang. Both employees were very nice, courteous and very professional.

When we purchased out Sienna Van SE, the buying experience was quite good. However, the individuals involved in that process all left due to new management. My wife and I have had excellent service at this location for the past 22 years except for July 22-23, 2014. The tech doing the maintenance work, just checking the oil, not an oil change, added a minimum of three extra quarts of oil to the crankcase, bent the hood, left grease on the steering wheel and indicated the battery was fair, after he left the radio on while doing the work he did. The tech had worked there five days. When I asked him about his qualifications, the supervisor responsible for this person told him not to answer. She said she would check his work after I requested her to do so. Had she, she would have identified the excessive oil and this level of negligence could have been minimized. When the person in charge of the service department approached me, he was quite defensive and I lost my cool over his arrogant and righteous demeanor. The service manager I have dealt with for many years told me I had the right to be upset. He told me he would have the oil changed and filter after I requested this but I later learned the senior technician who was to check our car the third time was told to drain the oil, not change it. The van requires synthetic oil and no one knew the type of oil that had been put in the car. When the body shop replaced the entire hood, they did an excellent job. The body shop manager went overboard to make things right. He was the only one who did what he said he would do. He changed the oil and filter and test drove the car. I would urge anyone having their car serviced by Midwest Toyota from about July 17-22, 2014, check your oil. It is interesting that my battery was at 100% the following day when the senior technician checked the van over and he also filled the coolant and windshield wiper to the correct levels when the previous supervisor and tech said everything was okay. What occurred on July 22 and 23rd of July, 2014 constitutes "negligence". It should be mentioned that my wife and I were to leave on July 23, 2014 for a vacation but due to this negligence, we had to leave on the 25th of July. This vacation had been delayed for a year due to my wife's cancer and due to my health, this may be my last vacation. This added to my frustration in this entire manner.

I RECENTLY PURCHASED A 2013 FORD EDGE FROM TRACEY DEAN. THIS IS MY SECOND PURCHASE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP AND SALESMAN. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE HONESTY AND OPENNESS OF EVERYONE AND THE EASE OF THE TRANSACTION. I HAVE NO INTENTION OF SPENDING HOURS OR DAYS LOOKING FOR A CAR NOR NEGOTIATING A PRICE. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS STORE AND ESPECIALLY TRACEY FOR A SALEMAN.

Used the Cars.com internet site and Midwest (Craig Brown) responded within two hours. We talked for 30 minutes and were able to get $4,000 off the sicker price on a 2013 Highlander. This is the second time we have bought from this dealership using the online system and Craig did a fantastic job both times (we bought a new 4Runner in 2009).

I live in central Missouri, and was in search of a 5 year/125K/$0 deductible Toyota Extra Care Platinum Vehicle Service Agreement. I checked with my local dealer (Riley Toyota - Jefferson City) and the next-nearest dealer (Machens Toyota - Columbia), and was quoted prices of $1900 and $1675, respectively. Through some online forum research, I found Jerry Johnson's name and contact number. I contacted him via E-mail (jerryjatMidwestSuperstore.com), and he promptly responded by E-mail and telephone, and quoted a price of $799. The forum indicated that Jerry was able to do the sale via phone and fax, but I found that within the last week, Toyota corporate had restricted his sales to customers who physically come to the dealership in Hutchinson, Kansas (thanks, complaining nationwide Toyota dealers). I made arrangements with Jerry to meet him on a Saturday, drove the 350 mile one-way trip to Hutchinson, and Jerry was waiting for me, with my paperwork already partially completed. Within fifteen minutes, he had verified the mileage on my 2012 Highlander Limited (it must be less than 36,000), Jerry completed the paperwork, I wrote Midwest Toyota a check for $799, Jerry entered the necessary data into the Toyota network, we shook hands, and I was out of there. Jerry is courteous, appreciative, humble and many other things that most auto salesman aren't any more. If making the drive to Hutchinson makes fiscal sense for you (it saved me at least $876, minus gas and time), I strongly recommend dealing with Jerry Johnson at Midwest Toyota to purchase a Toyota Extra Care Platinum VSA. While you're in town, dealing with Jerry, I strongly recommend timing it so you can go to lunch at Roy's Hickory Pit BBQ in Hutchinson (look them up on www.roadfood.com). The food and experience there are almost as enjoyable as dealing with Jerry!

Just purchased an extended warranty from Jerry Johnson at the Toyota Midwest Superstore. The process was simple, fast, and painless with great pricing. Jerry gave me a much better deal than my local dealer where the car was purchased. After negotiating the OTD price of the vehicle, I hit the finance guy for a high pressure sales session on extended warranty purchasing which I repeatedly declined. Thanks to a buddy who went through this process last year, I knew an extended warranty could be purchased from any dealership and Jerry had the best pricing. Save yourself the hassle, not to mention the fees and sales tax (if your outside KS), and purchase your warranty through Jerry.

I recently purchased a Certified 2012 Tundra with 23689 miles on it at the time in Las Vegas NV.I requested a Toyota 7 year 100,000 mile warranty which cost me $1625.00. When the warranty arrived it was a third party warranty with a lot of exclusions from Century , and a $50.00 deductible. Needless to say I went on the Tundra and Toyota forums and everyone raved about buying a warranty from Jerry Johnson at Midwest Superstore and the terrific price that he sold these for. Needless to say I contacted Jerry what a pleasant man to deal with . He gave me all the information and what he would need to sell me the warranty. After getting the price I decided to purchase the Toyota 8 Year 125,000 mile Platinum Warranty. I contacted the my dealer to see if he would sell me the same warranty for the price that Jerry gave me ,was told that no way that they could sell it for his price. I believe that I am saving close to $1000.00 compared to the my dealer.I will certainly tell all my friends and recommend Jerry Johnson to them, and to all of you looking to purchase a Toyota Warranty I suggest you give Jerry a call you will not be disappointed , and you will save a lot of money. Most pleasant sales person I have spoken to in years.Ray las vegas nv

Recently purchased a 2013 Toyota Sienna near where I live in eastern NC. I was interested in getting an extended warranty for this vehicle, especially because of all of the electronics on the vehicle. I search around all of the local dealers and all that I could come up with was a variety of third party warranties at very high prices each with poor customer reviews. I was not interested in any third party plan, been there, done that, and was very dissatisfied with the outcome. I researched the options on the internet and came up with Jerry Johnson and Midwest Superstore. After looking at the feedback and contacting Jerry, I was convinced that this was the "real deal". He was very helpful in answering my questions and addressing my concerns. He offered exactly what I wanted and at a price that beat the closest third party warranties by hundreds of dollars. His personal service was excellent and the delivery of the necessary paperwork etc. came to me exactly in the form that he said it would and in the timeframe he specified. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a genuine Toyota extended warranty. I am sure you will be very satisfied with the outcome. Thanks, Jerry! K.B.

Similar to the customer below, I also recently purchased a vehicle on Ebay. Not ever purchasing anything so expensive online, I was worried about how the transaction would progress. I wasn't able to physically look at the car before purchasing it, so that made me even more nervous. When I contacted Devin about some of my concerns, he immediately took pictures for me to see of the car from different angles (it was advertised as having hail damage that had been fixed). He was extremely fast in his response - ridiculously fast (we used txt). The car was delivered to me a week later as promised and it was exactly as described. I got the title a week later via registered mail - everything went very smoothly. Thanks Devin for the excellent service, and I would buy a car online from them anytime!!!!!

Let me start off by stating I purchased a truck from this dealer as an out of state buyer. Located the vehicle on ebay and called the number on that ad.I have mixed feelings about this dealership because I felt like once the sale was completed, the online salesman I dealt with didn't really put much effort into helping me out with the small details like getting the paperwork for title and plates. It was a real mess because the post office had misplaced my packet containing the paperwork and the salesman was rude to me at times when I contacted him to try to find it. Basically it was pretty much "not my problem" and "you deal with it" kind of response. It was not a pleasant buying experience.I can not remember the name of the gentleman I contacted at the dealership when I got tired of dealing with the salesman, but he was more helpful and with no attitude. It looks like that customer service by actually going to the dealer is much better from what I see on the past reviews of this dealership on this site. I can't recommend buying from this dealer online however.

my 85 year old mother brought her car in to have some work done on it. The price or estimate went from $192. Then when their Toyota lead mechanic" Fritz ( Fredrick Benson)GOOFED UP. On my mother's car the estimate went up to the tune of $1500. Clint Thomas covered up for his mechanic and has refused to correct his mechanic's mistake unless my 85 year old mother pay 's them $1500 dollars. My mother is 85 years old and you are only taking advantage of her Client Thomas and Fritz Benson. Shame on you both!!!!

I bought my new 2013 Toyota Avalon in New York, where I live. I wanted to purchase the extended warranty, and researched prices on line, as well as through the local dealers. There was such wonderful feedback, on various sites, about Jerry Johnson, that I decided to contact him. That was a great decision. Jerry was everything they said: informative, quick to respond, pleasant, and most importantly------offered a fantastic price for the Toyota Extra Care Platinum warranty, with no deductible. Everything was delivered in the time frame as promised. Thank you, Jerry, for such a positive buying experience.

My wife & I just bought a new 2013 Toyota Venza AWD LTD from a dealer here in Wisconsin and are extremely happy with that dealership. However while signing the final paperwork an offer to purchase a 7 year, 75,000 Mile, $0 Deductible Toyota Extended Care Platinum Warranty was presented to us that kind of caught us cold. It was a lot of money (about $1,500) so we declined. After we got home we went on line to investigate the warranty further and not only found it to be something we were definitely interested in but Jerry Johnson's name kept popping up as a great guy to contact. Needless to say I e-mailed Jerry around midnight, got a reply a few minutes after 8am the next day and after a couple quick phones calls and supplying him with the basic vehicle info we purchased a 7 year, 100,000 mile Extended Care Platinum warranty for over $600 LESS than our dealer wanted for the 7 year, $75,000 mile one! Needless to say we are thrilled. We could not have been treated better. Jerry offered us a wealth of experience, straight answers, friendly service and a fantastic price! He made this doing this a no hassle, pleasant experience and I would recommend him & Midwest Toyota to anyone. Thanks again, Jerry! JM & YM, Woodruff, WI

We recently bought a new Toyota in New England, where we live. We wanted to get a Toyota extended warranty for our new vehicle, and shopped around via the internet (the prices vary widely among Toyota dealerships). We ended up buying our warranty through MidWest Superstore. Although we live quite a distance from Kansas and never got to meet him in person, Jerry Johnson of MidWest Superstore offered great customer service from start to finish. He was knowledgeable, professional, and trustworthy. We are happy to recommend him, and this dealership, to others. Thank you Jerry!

My wife and I live in Wisconsin and love Toyotas. We have a 2008 4Runner and just purchased a used 2010 Tundra with 1 month of factory warranty left. I use the Toyota forums to search the vast amount of information that exists on these venues, and when visiting these sites you will see for yourself people post over and over again, contact Jerry Johnson at Midwest Toyota when you want a Toyota warranty. My wife called Jerry and he is indeed a great guy who is very friendly, fair and well informed about the warrantys. Jerry treated my wife with respect and took the time to explain the different choices and terms that are offered. We bought a 8/75K Platinum-0-Deductable Toyota factory warranty for less than half the cost of what we were quoted from dealerships up here. We would highly recommend contacting Jerry Johnson at Midwest when shopping for a Toyota warranty. Thanks again Jerry. Mike & Deb M. Waukesha, WI.

Saw an add for the car I wanted on the internet and called. This dealership is very far away from where I live in another state (180 miles) and even though I was very interested in the car, it was very difficult for me to get away to go that far to look at it. Tracy Dean, my sales person, agreed to meet me half way on his day off and bring the vehicle for me to drive. He was so friendly and helpful and we feel like we got a great deal!

Went in looking at a new 2012 Toyota Venza.... The sales staff was super pushy in regards to, buy it before a certain time of the day and take it home that day or I would be forced to wait till tomorrow. I felt as if that was their way of getting you in and out of the dealership. When making a big purchase decision, such as a vehicle, I don't want to be rushed. I don't feel that the sales staff knew much about the vehicle either. I felt that they had it on the lot, and they would do anything they could to sell it as soon as they could. The test drive that we wend on was literally around the block. They didn't allow me to take it on the highway, nothing. Very disappointing. The car itself was filthy on the outside as well. Just from sitting out on the lot, it wasn't pretty. The overall experience from Midwest Toyota was extremely poor and I won't be going back.

Took my 2004 F-250 Super Duty for an oil change and a tire rotation. I hit the waiting room around 4:00pm after getting offf work. Three people came into the waiting room room after me, to have their oil changed. THEIR CARS WERE DONE BEFORE ME!!! I sat in the waiting room for TWO hours, because they closed at 6pm. On about three occasions, I had to tell Clint how I wanted the tires rotated (side-to-side). Granted, I had a coupon to have the works service package, I still should have asked for an additional discount on the service provided. I did not receive an inspection checklist to show the status of the multi-point inspection. The professionalism of this service department has drastically deteriorated. From now on, I will go back to servicing my own vehicles.

I recently purchased a brand new 2011 F-150 Limited and couldn't be happier! The customer service was top notch! Troy really knew his product and made sure we were aware of all available options before we made our decision. They did not push me in any direction, I felt very comfortable throughout the whole process. I was actually very impressed at what they gave me for my trade. All in all I couldn't be more impressed with the the whole process. They are down to earth people that are big on taking care of the local Hutchinson folks, and since I live and work here getting a great deal and peace of mind knowing that my money will be used in the community is VERY important to me! I was actually enticed to visit the store after the multiple referrals from friends of mine and after seeing a check given to Hutchinson High School I couldn't wait to see what they would do for me. I truly do recommend them to everyone I see! They are truly the bEST in the midwest without question!

I recently called Midwest Toyota about a new 2WD Toyota Tundra I was interested in. Was a bit disappointed to be told this new truck already had 250 miles on it. Nevertheless, I was willing to drive 60 miles to take a look at it with a buyer's check in-hand. I arrived at the dealership about an hour later only to discover not only did this truck have 250 miles on it, it already been used to tow a trailer (it was obvious the receiver had been used in a load bearing manner). I tactfully informed the salesperson about my 60 mile drive and my disappointment that the truck had already been used to tow a trailer. He gave me the impression that it was common for new vehicles to have several hundred miles of use and/or be used to tow *small* trailers around the dealership. He went on to say I was fortunate that their dealership even had a 2WD in stock because 4WD were more in demand, then commenced to tell me all the vehicles that he was sold out of because of their successful sale. There was no attempt to appreciate my feelings on the matter--and, no attempt to sell or locate another vehicle. Very disappointing experience. I wanted to save a drive to Wichita or Oklahoma City to buy a new 2WD Tundra, but it now looks like my only choice.

I'm now working for a national drug store chain which requires me to drive from Wichita to various locations in Kansas. At my last oil change at a "quick-lube" joint, the salesperson stated I needed certified service work for the truck's differential, preferrably with a Toyota dealer. A few days later, I was scheduled to work in Hutchinson. I called "Midwest Toyota" for service immediately. Upon arrival at Midwest Toyota, the service dept reviewed previous maintenance records, provided required automatic transmission flush services, and transported me to work at the local drug store on time! We scheduled a follow up appointment a few days later when I was off work to replace the differential seal. Midwest Toyota completed the work in about 90 minutes! They also provided me with a quiet area to complete some paperwork while waiting. Now I'm very confident and happy with the vehicle and the dealership! THANK YOU!

I highly recommend this store and Keith to anyone interested in buying toyota. If these guys don't have it on the lot they'll get it for you fast. Really good selection of cars on the lot with great deals. Will work with any serious butyers to get you the deal you want on the car you want. All you need to do is see my guy Keith. He will take care of you and treat you like the number one priority you are every single time. I've dealt with him and Midwest Toyota for years and I won't go anywhere else.
