The worst possible experience any customer could have. Three hour oil change, tire rotation and to top it off MAJOR DAMAGE to my radio. My screen is shattered!! It can no longer be taken off Sirius radio. When I saw what happened they blamed it in me!! Wow!! I understand accidents happen but just fess up when you mess up instead of blaming and bulling a customer. Obviously no one knows what is happening in service. No accountability. I didn't know one should take inside pictures of their car for an oil change. Worst experience ever!!

I had a slow leak in one of my tires. I went in without an appointment. I waited 3 hours. I could have gone anywhere, but I chose the dealer just in case I needed to buy a new tire. I wanted one that would match my original tires. Fortunately, they were able to patch it.

The dealership rep, Kevin, was very professional. I asked about getting winter ready and he stated I was all set, he did not want to sell me services I didn't need. Also, they replaced my purge valve and I was in and out within a little over an hour. Haggerty's service dept. is the best!

I came there to test drive and possibly purchase the Van. I set up appt. They didn't know I was coming. And my name was on the white broad. I have been in sales for over 30 years and your dealership was not prepared for me. They didn't know about the Van they asked me for the stock number, very (unprofessional !!!). I was called early that day from (Danielle Wilk) to confirm. I called her at 1:30pm asking for a carfax, They sent to me the carfax at 3pm. I think they should of told me the car was sold. then or called. But had me coming let's show something else he here already that is poor management. I should of walked out then . I bought a low-mileage used car from them (75k), and before I could make home, the car broke down. Not only did I have to pay the entire bill from a car repair shop, after it broke down again that same day, I had to pay 1/2 of the bill the following week to get it fixed at Haggerty Buick in Oak Lawn. Be wary please. Especially if you are buying a used car. Before I even bought my car I mentioned I would like the tail light fixed, and they said "NO."

I just purchased a new 2015 Sierra 2500 HD with the Duramax diesel! I bought the truck from mike Haggerty GMC in Oaklawn. This has been my seventh New vehicle purchase! And by far the best! My salesman Dan was great I worked the whole deal with him over the phone. and when I showed up to pick the vehicle up everything was exactly like we had talked ! The vehicle was clean and they were very helpful with and equating me with all the new gadgets and technologies on my new truck. I would highly recommend mike Hagerty GMC to anyone in the market for a new vehicle! They have that small town feel in the big city!

I wanted to purchase a 2015 Yukon Denali at this dealership. A salesman tried working a deal with me and we were only 3 or 4 hundred dollars apart. He went to his manager to resolve the issue and make the deal. The manager, who had been working with us on this deal, changed his mine and refused to sell the vehicle near that price. He raised the price $4000.00. Before leaving another manager promised to call me the next day with a solution. He never did call. This was the second time that I came to this dealership. Both times they lied to get me into the dealership, by stating that they had the car in stock that I wanted, but did not. Then they negotiated in BAD faith. This was a waste of my time and a terrible experience. A lot of promises and lies. I purchased the vehicle at different dealership and it was a pleasant experience.

I recently purchased my 2015 Buick enclave from Mike Haggerty Buick GMC. It was a great experience. We didn't arrive until 6:30 pm on a Friday evening. The sales man greeted us at the door and asked questions about what we were looking for. I had done my research on vehicles and had a specific car in mind and all I needed to do was test drive the particular car I was going to purchase to seal the deal. Rob took me on the test drive and went through the features and benefits of the vehicle I was looking to purchase as well as all of the perks of buying new. I then returned to the dealership and worked with the Sales manager and the Financial manager to review offers, trade in, downpayment and financing to get the vehicle in the price range I was looking to spend. We were able to come to an agreement in less than 30 minutes and by the time it took me to walk from the salesman's desk to the financial manager's office the loan process was complete. We were out of the dealership by 8:30 that night with a new car. I am very pleased with the process. I didn't feel pressured at any point and the sales team listened to my needs and got me as close to my requested monthly payment as we could get. I recommend this dealership and advise people to shop on a friday night it's quiet and you won't have to wait.,

Buyers beware. I will not verbally bash this dealer only state factual information. This was the worst experience I have EVER encountered with a dealer. We worked with the Haggerty Group for over two weeks and still ended up without a car even after a buyers order was issued by Mike Haggerty dealership. The auto was basically sold out from underneath of us. We had even paid for a flight to pick up the auto and the dealership agreed to pick my husband up from the airport. As we were finalizing loan paperwork with our lender the dealer calls to say the car had been sold! Shame on you Mike Haggerty Buick GMC, shame on you! You entered a contract with us and broke that contract. Not to mention caused us a loss of $203.00 for a flight that you were well aware we had booked and even agreed to pick my husband up the next morning. I am sure local buyers are in a much better position in regards to using this dealer, but anyone thinking about traveling to make the purchase I would urge you to be cautious.

I told the young lady on the phone the night before I went in my credit issues and was told that I could be taking care of. The next day I went in, I walked in telling the Sales Rep and a manager again my situation. I was told no problem we can take care of you. Then I was told hours later, they couldn't wasting my time. Then I received a call and I told that gentleman how upset I was and I was told let him look into it and see what he could do. I never heard anything.

I have never experienced such disrespect from a dealership like this. Very unprofessional, disrespectful, worst dealership ever. Stay away from here. I came about 3 months ago to look for a specific car and they didn't have it. so they took down my information and said they would call me back when they have it available. So I get a call back saying that they have the car I'm looking for and they told me to come and check it out. so me and my wife took a 30 minute drive off work, only to find out that they don't have the car I want . it was only a scam to get me their and convince me to check out different cars ! When I went to talk to the manager about what happened he didn't even seam to care about wasting me and my wife's day at work!!! It's a very cheap way scamming people into looking at their cars !!!

I have always been treated very well at this dealership. They will work with you. I have never felt pushed . I have bought 4 cars in the last 8 months. 2 for myself, and 2 grandsons. All I can say is if you don't feel comfortable with your salesman, ask for someone else. I have bought many cars in the past. Haggerty is the best.

I recently purchased a Terrain from Mike Haggerty and all thanks due to the Dan Fontana. He was very nice and down to earth. He was so positive that I would walk out with the car I wanted it took me off guard. Never experienced that from any dealership before in regards to a salesman. They gave me a great trade in amount on my recent vehicle, they basically paid it off. Truly impressed with the team. Danielle receives great praise also for leaving a positive message to get me to that location considering I stay west of the city with closer dealers to my house. Thanks guys

Beware of this dealership. The sales people will use shady techniques before you even arrive. They started leaving messages on my voice mail not identifying themselves and warning "I have personal and confidential information about you, please call me". I have saved the voicemail just because of how unbelievable it is. I would attach it if I could. Just ask yourself, is this the kind of dealership you want to do do business with? I work in salse myself and we would never resort to scare tactics. I have heard similar stories from others and I just wanted to take the opportunity to warn others.

Dealt w/Haggerty Dealership 3 years ago & had always wanted to leave a review so here it is. They may have turned on their reputable charm for some folks, but obviously that is not the case for everyone. All dealerships in general & of course depending on their sales tactics will try to pick & choose their bait. Once the baby-booomer aged salesman saw I was also a baby-boomer FEMALE, the games began. Was told there was something wrong w/my identity in my credit report of which that was untrue as I have yet to be informed of that regarding all subsequent business dealings. So, needless to say, I didn't get the car I was interested in of which was a basic ordinary vehicle--nothing luxury/fancy. My earnest money was credited back to my bank account & everything & that was it. Went to another dealership & purchased another car I wanted. About a week later the salesman had enough nerve to say since you ultimately chose "that" make, we would have went across the street to our other store. Well if I didn't supposedly qualify for my first choice, I certainly wouldn't have qualified for my second choice, as this was a more expensive car. He just thought he was talking to some kind of big dummy, exhibiting disrespect for the person who enables him to get a paycheck.

Dan Fontana helped our family a lot in the choosing and buying process and answered every little question that we had. Overall we had a really good experience although at some point it got a little bit slow, but we didn't mind since our whole family came and it was fun :) Great service, the car we bought was in an outstanding condition for a used car. Would recommend to everyone.

I did the homework on the internet before I stopped in so I knew what vehicle I wanted and what I was going to pay. Dan Fontana was very professional and low key didn't pressure & got down to working on the price to close the deal. I came in late afternoon on a Friday drove the car home the next morning. The entire sale support team was helpful & delivered what was promised. The sales representative can make or break the deal. If you go there ask for Dan Fontana.

I was pleased with the overall customer service at Haggerty. I was impressed with the financial breakdown that my salesman explained and trade in incentives that were available to me. The only negative thing I have to speak of was the fact that I was sold my 2013 Acadia on an empty tank of gas. I immediately had to go to the gas station across the street from the dealership to put gas in my car with temperatures as low as they are. My salesman tried to apologize for the coarse explanation that I was given by another Haggerty employee. Gabe and Joseph both stopped me from not going through the the sale. The customer service from the both of them weighed out over another employee lacking in customer service skills department.

On Black Friday I went into the Mike Haggerty Dealership located on 93rd /Cicero . I have to admit knowing my credit was no longer what it once was I was a bit concerned. There I met Bryan Kureja, a young yet very knowledgeable sales consultant who guided me through the entire process. Together with John Redelsperger, (sales manager) , they made everything seem effortlessly . They never tried to sell me something I didn't want, instead focused all their attention in making sure I got exactly what I wanted at a great price. They also were very generous on the amount I got for my trade, and knowing my personal finance situation they had Joseph, the finance representative working on making sure I would get a very competitive rate. Needless to say today I am the proud owner of a 2014 Gmc Acadia . I would definitely recommend Mike Haggerty Dealership to anyone considering their next vehicle purchase. I initially came to Mike Haggerty Buick GMC to have my car repaired but the repair cost was too much for such an old car. So I decided to look at new cars. So I was driven over to the Sales Room and Bill Haggerty greeted me with open arms and he directed me to Gabrial Young, Sales Specialist. Gabriel was warm, inviting and knowledgeable about the vehicle I was interested in purchasing. He found the color car I wanted and we procedeed to take a test drive in the car. He was confident that this was the car for me and I shouldn't have any problem with getting approved for the car purchase. He was right and Im sure there was some divine intervention involved. I did purchase the 2014 Buick Regal T in Champagne Sliver and so far I am pleased with my purchase and I conmend my Sales Specialist, Gabriel Young for being patient, kind and considerate with me.

Bait and switch!!!Sales manager Lavonse Johnson is a lying coward! !Went to buy a vehicle with my wife, talked with Jimmy B. Hammered out a deal and lavonse Johnson the sales manager came out to interfere with the deal he was loud and disrespectful to my wife cutting her off in mid sentence and shouting at her (lucky he didn't end up getting punched)...Jimmy was nice so we tried to continue working with him (he apologized for Lavonses offensive behavior) had a fair deal worked out on a car costing over $30,000.00 that the sales manager and sales rep agreed on, after a couple of hours my family needed to get something to eat and we wanted to discuss the deal further. Lavonse told us that when we come back to bring the receipt from dinner and he'll even take the cost of the meal off the price of the car...LOL threw me off there...but we didn't return that night, came back two days later to hammer out the details with Jimmy no Levonse so we thought things would go smoothly.....they were going to honor the price we agreed on, but after sitting there for a few more hours, there were some issues with the numbers when it time to finalize everything (numbers with trade in and taxes not quite right....seemed to change).It came to a point we said forget the trade in then, we asked what is the total cost of the vehicle with taxes title doc fees and without the trade in. We were given a number, my wife and I needed to think about it again because of the significant change. I'd have to sell our "trade in" vehicle on our own (hassle)...so we told Jimmy we just need to think about it....told him we would be back in a day and asked if they would honor that deal, WE WERE TOLD YES!!We came back to buy the car and were ready to hit the bank with the total amount of the vehicle, when we came back Lavonse was there again, we sat down asked for the agreed upon price, we were told NO, we were told that the sales manager wouldn't allow that price, and that the agreed upon price would no longer be honored, but we could buy the car for $1,500.00 more....Lavonse wouldn't even come out of the office himself to tell us this time, he kept calling the sales rep on the phone and kept having him come to the office.....

Worst. Experience. Ever. After finding the car we wanted on their website at what we thought was a great price we contacted someone to confirm the price, rebates, etc., and get an estimate for trade in value based on the VIN number of the vehicle. We were upfront and very clear about not wanting to waste our time as we were coming from an hour away. We were assured we were not and that the prices were valid. After arriving at the dealership we were told the person we had spoke with was not a sales person and had no authority to make deals, and were not allowed to see or speak to that person. We started speaking with an actual salesperson and after test driving the car, were brought back to his desk where we were presented with numbers significantly higher than the price show on the internet.....to the tune of about $4,000. After expressing our displeasure at being duped and having had our time wasted, we ended up going through the manger and the owner before walking out. All the while each of them continued their shady smoke and mirror practices trying to make us think we were getting a good deal. This place may be good if you're desperate to get a car, but if you're looking to get a good deal stay away. They'll do and say anything to get you in the door, and their slick, fast talking sales people will try everything to close a deal. Furthermore if you are still thinking about checking this place out after reading this review, make sure you watch your kidneys while you're there because you'll likely wake up to find yourself in an ice bath if you're not careful.

They lured me in with a too good to be true car price. Of course the car didn't exist. They confirmed the car was there. I made a appointment to see the car because I made a offer on their website. They accepted the offer and told me to come in. The next day on my way to the dealership the advertised car was gone from inventory. I called to confirm if the car was there and the internet sales rep. DOUBLE checked and told me yes. I came to the lot and to my surprise the car was gone. The salesman then puts me a new car and drives me to the other lots and to my surprise no car. Then tries to put me into ANY car that is in my price range instead of the car I want. Just beware!!!! Wow this is 2013 and these tactics really don't work on educated car buyers. Beware. Look at other reviews before going to this lot.

Gabe Young was very attentive and began speaking and answering my husband's concerns. Thomas Keane continued to work with us until the end. Both gentlemen were very informative, easy to speak with, and patient with all our questions. Thomas did an awesome job of helping us with setting up and showing us the unique truck features. Mark Hofrichter never seemed to have a break, but was very pleasant and patiently explained our finance package. I was impressed with these gentlemen.

I have been a returning customer at this dealership for many years. The sales reps have always been kind and very informative. My most recent visit was no exception. Tom Keane did a great job of showing us what the dealership had to offer and then stepped back and let us decide what we wanted. The overall experience was very good. When we are ready for our next car or suv we will again be returning to Mike Haggery.

These guys are the worst. You get insulted about the car you drive up in, they don't know what features come on the car he just read me the piece of paper and I had to correct him 4 times. The sales guy starts argue with me about what neighborhood I say I am from. No idea what promos are going on. There is no way ANYONE is getting a fair deal in this place. I asked the guy about a lease and he says there are no promos going on. I say your websire has one.... he says, No I dont think so.... I went home and double checked. There is a lease special on the car I wanted. I will drive a moped before I go back to these clowns.

Today, I experienced a very disappointing and unprofessional customer service experience. I came into the dealership in order to purchase a vehicle and left empty handed. I came inside the dealership and spoke to Jimmy Lewis (Sales Representative) regarding purchasing a vehicle. My credit was run with a score of 705 and I had a trade in with almost $6000.00 in negative equity. This is something I expressed coming into the dealership and expressed that if your employees were not able to work a deal to notify me of that so I wouldnt waste anybodys time. I was open to almost any option available in order to obtain a new vehicle and my only specification is to ensure that my payments are reasonable. I was told by Jimmy Lewis that no deal was able to be made after sitting in your dealership for 4 hours. I was not shown any offers and given any opportunity to even attempt work the deal with your staff. In my almost 10 years of car buying experience this is the first time I walked into a dealership and not walk out with a vehicle. You have someone with good credit and some negative equity and your telling me that there are no options to be placed in one of your several hundred vehicles that you have at all three of your dealerships. That is completely appalling and shows a complete lack of customer service. For your dealership to continuously call me stating that they are interested in my current vehicle for trade and completely dismiss me when I make an honest effort to give your organization business is completely disrespectful.It is unfortunate that I have to suspend my search for a new vehicle and attempt to wait some time before I go to another dealership to attempt to obtain a vehicle. Since your dealership basically shot gunned my credit everywhere I become pretty unmarketable to any other bank. This is why I was very specific in asking if your dealership could make the deal work with the above specifications. PS My current vehicle has been serviced by your organization for a long period of time and it still has issues from repairs that your service department completed. Update 02/05/13I went to the dealership today to address and issue that I had with the sales and service department. I spoke to Mr. Mike Haggerty and Mr. Jimmie Lewis. I expressed my views in reference to the experience I had with Mr. Lewis and the service department. The issue with the sales department was referenced in this complaint and the issues I had with the service department is that they failed to complete a 21 point inspection that is promised at the time of service and placed on the service ticket and being conducted. Also, I have an issue with coming into the service department and have the same issue with my vehicle repaired three times. The second time the service department was nice enough to provide me with a free replacement key to my vehicle. The third time I came into the service department was today for the same issue and I inquired about receiving a free oil change in order to compensate me for the time that I did not have with my vehicle. After the service department refused to compensate me for my wasted time and energy spent in continuously bring my vehicle with the same issue I decided to pay for the oil change. At this time I noticed that the service inspect wasn't performed and when I attempted to address the issue management refused to address the manner and when I asked to speak to the service advisor Joe regarding the matter he refused to speak with me. I attempted to address this matter with Mr. Haggerty and he attempted to scold me regarding filing a BBB complaint rather being concerned with my issues. He acted as if he didn't care about the matter being resolved and attempted to tell me how wrong I was and how he backs his employees. This has been the worst experience I have had with any dealership that I have ever done business with. I personally feel that Mr. Haggerty and his management staff have no concern in attempt to assist me in resolve my issues with his employee lack of tact and customer service. I also believe that my issue with the service department steams to be retaliatory behavior by this business to provide substandard service even when I decided to continue to have my vehicle serviced by this organization. I feel that the lack of attentiveness and customer service that I experienced at the service department today is a direct retaliatory act due to my complaint against said business.

Our buying experience with Vince Scialabba was fantastic. My husband and I were undecided about a big car, a small car, or a medium car. He took us on a test drive of all three options, pointing out features that were unique in each car. Then he worked with us to make a great trade-in deal and helped get our payments exactly where we wanted them. He took time the next day to help us set up our Bluetooth hands-free calling feature and OnStar, as well as took us around to introduce us to the service department. It was a very positive buying experience, and he was helpful and patient as we made our decisions. Highly recommend!

I recently went in to purchase a 2013 Acadia. Upon entering Tom Keane greeted us at the door and was very nice and helpful in providing information on this vehicle! Though, the '13 was not in stock, he was able to order one for me and to our surprise it arrived very quickly. He kept me updated with the order/process during that time. While my wife and I test drove it, he continued to feed us informative details about the truck. He knew his stuff. He mentioned that the dealer sends the sales personal to classes and it shows! Overall, the purchase went very well. In working with Sales Consultant, Ed Young, my visit was without undue pressure to make a purchase. Rather, Ed was very open with sharing his knowledge of the inventory, market and how to best meet my car needs. His professional approach was proven in his willingness to spend additional time with me to take multiple test drives to ensure my comfort with buying the 2012 Verano. As well, Ed was able to find a (hardly) used car within the inventory to custom fit my needs and lower the overall cost of the purchase price.Ed made sure that I was familiar with the facility - including the Service Dept., where I had the opportunity to meet personally with the Owner, Mike Haggerty. I came into the dealership with my girlfriend 20 minutes before closing and I was greeted as if they had just opened (warm and welcoming). Tom Keane approached us and was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. I came pretty prepared and before you knew it we were already test driving the car of my choice. Tom took his time and was very thorough with obtobtaining information accurately,as well as rerelaying all of the financing and vehicle information accurately. Even though it was almost 2 hours after closing Tom worked with a smile and was still very patient. It felt like I was talking to a friend and not even conducting such an important business transaction (very personable). Before I knew it Tom introduced me to Frank the Finance man who was just as frienly. I do financing for a living, and Frank was a easy going as I am when I am on the other side of the desk. He was very helpful in getting me the best financing at a rate that was very affordable. I thought my used car would come with a full tank of gas but at my disbelief it didn't, and Tom gave me gas money out of his wallet. In a nutshell this was the easiest auto purchasing experience I have ever taken part in, and I will definitely be a returning,and rereferring customer. Tom is the best!!!!!!!!!!!

They are upfront and honest about the vehicles they have and the prices they can be at.They were very accomodating to the fact that I live in Chicago. Some additonal forms that needed to be signed were mailed to my house. Tom even offered to drive the forms into town. Overall, great experence and great car!

Dan and Gabe listened to what type of car we needed and were able to recommend the Buick Enclave. We test drove the car and loved it! When we told them we were interested in buying a used car, they recommended one of the cars on their lot and it was the perfect fit for our needs. They told us all about the car and about Buick's certification process. They were very thorough in their explanations, which made us comfortable to buy a pre-owned vehicle. Although the dealership was busy at the time, Dan, Gabe, and Frank took time to inform us of all we needed to know. Even though my husband and I weren't necessarily planning on making a purchase today, we were comfortable doing so because we had a great experience.

I write this review as a journeyman of visiting many, many dealerships. In addition, I write this review as somebody that knows a thing-or-two about art of "marchande". I would advise novices to ALWAYS have somebody accompany you when making purchases like this. Do your research, know specifically what you want and make no concessions. Remember, there are a lot of cars out there. That being said, onto my review.To start, my girlfriend and I went to purchase a 2003 Dodge Neon SXT. The sticker had the vehicle priced at $6,000 but we found it priced on www.cars.com for $5,000. They honored it! And with the exception of a cigarette burn on the driver's seat, my mechanical consultant reported that the vehicle was in great condition. And less than 38,000 miles to boot!Secondly; our sales rep, Thomas Keane, was courteous and fun to talk to. Regarding certain financial matters (tax, title and license), we had mentioned to Mr. Keane and Mike Lorenzo about our goal to spend no more than $5,000 on a vehicle out-the-door. Although they wouldn't eat all the expenses, they were willing to eat some of that money to make the sale go through smoothy. They were willing to make a fair compromise, and that's alright by me.Thirdly, and this is the best part, my girlfriend and I weren't too pleased with the financing options that were originally presented to us. And, to be fair, while I had my plan in place for "dealing with the dealership"...I neglected to address this. While I'm convinced that this dealership did do their best to address financing, they understood that I wasn't happy with it. Frank Flewelling and Mike then mentioned if I belonged to a credit union. I looked into it, secured financing with a credit union (at a 5.7% rate) and 6 days later returned to buy the car.Lastly, my girlfriend and I had an unexpected, death in the family that Saturday when we were suppose to close the deal on this vehicle. Frank Flewelling was especially understanding of our situation and sensitive in addressing the need to delay the close date while we addressed this personal issue. I appreciated this dealership's compassion by how they agreed to hold the vehicle for me since I had demonstrated to them my good faith in buying the vehicle outright.Overall, if you know how to do the "dealership dance", they will be fair with you. And after all the headaches that we've sustained look at poor products and being dealt poor customer service from many dealerships, Mike Haggerty Buick GMC was a much needed breath of fresh air.I'd recommend them highly but only if you know what you're doing.

Most importantly, after an internet search, I found exactly the used vehicle that I was looking for at the dealership. After arriving at the dealership, I found the vehicle to be exactly as advertised. I was literally greeted by my sales rep as soon as I got out of my car. Based on my research, the price of the vehicle was very fair and the trade in offer for my vehicle was very generous. My purchasing experience was very relaxed, very comfortable and certainly one of the best car buying experiences that I have had.

I brought my 2005 envoy in for service on a friday morning at 8:00 am for a faulty tailgate mechanism. The service tech told me his computer wasn't telling him exactly what the problem was but he believed that the lower latch lock was the problem or part of the problem but he couldn't be sure. It was a process of elimination. He also stated that a rear hinge had been replaced and installed wrong and that a new torsion rod should be ordered. I disagreed with the need for a new part since the rod in place was not damaged, cracked or broken. This discussion was witnessed by Ruiz. I finally gave into ordering both of the parts. The tech said that the mid gate window wasn't working due to the problem with the latch. During this discussion with the mechanic he told me that he was busy and made it clear that our discussion was over. This visit cost me $135.31 strictly for diagnostics, no parts for a total visit time of 1:49 hours or $67.50 per hr. labor. Immediately after leaving I went to my mechanic who agreed that the latch lock might be faulty but demonstrated to me that the torsion rod was functioning properly and was not needed. My mechanic charged me $20.00 but didn't have the computer to do more. I cancelled the order for the torsion rod and waited for the latch part to be delivered. During the interim I noticed that the dash indicated that the mid gate was ajar. I released and relocked the gate and it functioned perfectly without repair. The service tech was wrong again.On the following Monday I received a phone call from the service department stating that the latch part was in and for me to call the service department for an appointment. I called the service department and arranged for an appointment at 1130 am. I arrived, gave them my vehicle. A short time later they told me the mechanic was working on another vehicle and was then going to lunch. I'd have to wait. I immediately let them know my displeasure and asked to pay and take the part. They told me it had to be programmed or it wouldn't work right. Again totally aggravated I went to sit in the waiting room. They probably altered his lunch and 47 minutes later I received my vehicle and a bill of $191.52, this after I was told I received a discount. The part was $89.01 the labor was $90.00 for 47 minutes. Some discount. The tailgate does currently work but I'm not confident of how long.The total for this part and service including discount not to mention my time and aggravation was $326.83.You can draw your own conclusions from my experience. Your vehicle better be under warranty or bring plenty of money.

John and his service team were great. We had recently purchased our car from Mike Haggerty and had gotten a great deal. While driving it in Wiscousin, a 5Gal bucket fell off a truck and struck the front end of our car. John and his team evaluated damage and repaired our car back to "good as new". They also checked the car and found that the fuel injection system needed service. They explained every detail of the service work required for the repairs and quoted us a very resonable price. I am very happy with the services they provided and would recomend them to anyone in need of a car and an outstanding service department.

I had the best new car buying experience I could have asked for! The experience started from the greeting when enterinng their facility. Im an expecting mom so snacking is definitely important to me. We were offered drinks and snacks during out wait for finance. There was no haggling. We looked at cars until we found the one we absolutely loved. Reasonable expectations were set by my salesman Tom Keane. His honest straight forward personality won us over immediately. Even though we were sold after the test drive Tom gave us so much detailed information about the Lacrosse that made us very confident in our purchase. They werent just trying to sell me a car, they wanted us to be happy with our purchase. So, to say the least we are very satisfied customers! This evening I attended a meeting at Haggerty Buick, in Oak Lawn, regarding their Service Dept., their service employees, and basic information regarding my new Buick Enclave.I was impressed with the staff of Haggerty Buick and their presentation. Mr. Bill Haggerty was present, as well as, his Service Manager, Asst. Service Manager and several technicians. The meeting was well organized and very informative for a new Buick owner like myself. A number of people in attendance, including myself, asked questions that were important to each owner's vehicle. I certainly am glad my wife and I attended this meeting. I called John Treyhey on Wednesday,September 19th. and told him there was a loud thumping noise that appeared to come from the front suspension system. He asked if I could bring the car in right away,or would I prefer to bring it on Thursday morning,which I did.John met me at 7:00 A.M.,took the car for a test drive,diagnosed the problem, and told me he would have the entire suspension system checked.In less than 2 hours I received a call saying the problem was being repaired and should be completed in about an hour,which it was. The service could not have been better or more professional. I am very pleased and will come back with both of our cars.

At the Emissions Lane my car failed due to 'service engine soon' light on dashboard. My 1998 Pontiac Transport blew a P1870 code, 'transmission component slipping'. I can not renew the state license unless the issue is resolved.John was able to accurately diagnose the code as a historical event that does not relate to the current condition. He inspected the trans fluid and some components, cleared the code, and filled out paperwork I need for when I return tot he Emissions Lane. For this, I am grateful for John's help.

ALL THE PEOPLE IN THE SERVICE AREA WERE EXTREMLY KIND. FROM THE GIRLS IN THE OFFICE TO THE SERVICE MANAGER. THEY ALSO HELPED ME WITH EXTRA QUESTIONS I HAD CONCERNING MY CAR, WHICH I LOVE!! THEY TOLD ME THE TIME FRAME FOR OIL HANGE ND SCHEDULED TIRE ROTATION WOULD TAKE AN HOUR. IT TOOF 50 MINUTES. PERFECT!! IN CLOSING I WOULD RECOMMEND HAGGERTY'S SERVICE TEAM ANYTIME!!! THANK YOU

Haggerty Motors is a very professional dealership that has a wonderful blueprint layout of a dealership. Mr.Fontana had spoken with me by telephone and made an appointment; but I got there early. After entering, Mr. Soule greeted me with a very professional greeting and asked if he could help as Mr. Fontana was not present. I actually saw my name on the appointment board which really impressed me. Never had that experience! Mr. Soule proceeded with guiding me through the purchasing of my vehicle and he truly is a wonderful sales person. I am a former retired marketing person and he truly sold me on my purchase. His professionalism, warmth, demonstration of vehicle, showing various color of cars. I actualy drove two vehicles and the last drive sealed the deal. Actually, I have an appointment today that I must cancel because I have already purchased my car. Before I talked to Mr. Fontana and had he not scheduled the appointment, I probably would have bought the car from Rizza Motors. The appointment was a key factor because I don't like to wait. After Mr. Soule and I met, I felt so proud of my decision. He was a major part of my decision and such a wonderful human being. Financing was a key factor with Mr. Jonson, helpful and personable. Being a teacher, explaining the process and making sense of it is so relevant. I trust that the service department will have the same impact as we imbark on this journey together. Keep up the good work as Iwill tell my story to others. Thank You very much for you assistance.

My brother in law, Raymond Robin suggest that I check out you dealership. Ray bought is vehicle from you and was very pleased with his auto and your service. We went on line to search what was in stock and was very happy that I was able to find exactly what I was looking for. And I just love my new auto.Had a great shopping experience with your staff. Everyone was just great...so friendly and helpful. Will recommend Haggerty to friends and family.

I bring my 2005 Yukon in for service every 3 months and I have just purchased a 2012 buick Enclave from Haggerty as well. Bill Anderson, my sales man, was great and John Trehey at the service department is a top notch individual. He is a refreshing person to deal with when so many things could go so wrong at the service department of a car dealership. I highly recommend this service department for anyone and everyone who needs to have anything done to their vehicles.

I was pleasantly greeted as I first drove into service. John Trehey shook my hand and made me feel very comfortable. He took care of my service in a very timely manner and made sure I was well taken care of. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

My sales rep was nice enough but I told him from the start that I just started looking and would not be buying today. He kept pushing the line "What can we do to get you into this car today". I understand that they are sales men and that is there bread and butter but really back off a bit. I still might go back because the van and price are in-line with what I want to do but I will be weary of them.

We received outstanding personal service. Our repair to the Acadia was completed the same day and the issue was completely resolved.Haggerty arranged for a rental car as well.

Haggerty GMC by far is the best dealership on the south side. All the employees work together to make you feel like family. I have bought four cars from Haggerty. They are simply the best!!

Very pushy sales tactics used, make sure you do your homework before entering the sales lot. We got what we were looking for in price & financing but it took 4 hours of back and forth negotiating.

I love new cars and usually cannot stand the dealership process. In the search for a new car for my fiance, it was just one bad dealership after another. Then we decided to go right up the street to our local GMC dealership- Mike Haggerty Buick GMC. My fiance found this Buick Verano that he fell in love with- and I liked it myself so I was encouraged to make a deal. I worked with an awesome Sales Man - John Rad..(he has a super long last name I cannot remember how to spell :) ), he was nice and NOT pushy (I don't respond well to pushy). He made us feel comfortable and took us on test drives and really let us see what we wanted to and he never tried to sway our decisions and ALWAYS had an answer I believed. Once it came to our trade in we started to work with a Mike Lorenzo- which was also great. He was detailed, open, and honest and in the end gave us the best value for our car, so we didnt have to waste time trying to sell it by owner. I am in banking so I value money highly- I am very particular about every purchase my Finace and I make and I was the same about the Verano. Mike worked with me patiently and in the end we had a deal, where I felt completely satisfied and that I was going home not only with a great car my finace loves- but a piece of mind in that I know I didnt get ripped off and that it was a smart purchase. Even at the final stages when another Sales Man (Dan) stepped in to assist (John had a day off)everything still went great. He was very personal and I understood I valued time and helped the process move quickly. Even the finance man- Michael Vela was great. He had the documents ready and explained any questions I had. He also folded everyhting perfect in an envelope for me- which I appreciated because I am orgzanied and he made it really easy to know I had everything I needed from the sale. Overall the entire experience was excellent. If I needed another car I would hope I picked out a GMC or Buick so I could use this dealership again soon. I am sure we will in the future.

Buying a car from Mike Haggerty was a pleasant experience. I want to give special thanks to my salesperson-Daniel. Daniel met my needs (monthly payment,style of car). I didn't think I could get a car over $20,000 within my price range, but Daniel made it happen. Actually, my Buick Regal looks better that what I had (Pontiac) and cheaper!! I was vey happy to get a stylish and luxury looking car without the high car note. He introduce me to the service department and they were great. I felt like a celebrity. I have bought many cars/suvs before but was never treated this way. Other dealerships were nice, but they did not go the extra mile to show their appreciation. Yes, I would definitely recommend Mike Haggerty dealership.

The service consultants are friendly. The quality of work is fair!! The overall price for any type of service is extremely too high. Dealership needs to add more service specials for loyal customers. (i.e. Free loaner car, or discounts on servicing your vehicle).

My experience in dealing with both Haggerty Buick and Volkswagen has been the best in my 45 years of buying automobiles. The best price was given first and did not have to be haggled. I was treated as though I was the only customer in the place. I was not given a hard sell; which I hate. I was allowed to go and think about it without interference. My first puchase was from Haggerty VW for my daughter, just three months ago. and when I needed a car for myself last week I gave the Haggerty Buick folks a try. Everyone from the managers to the sales representative I believe gave their very best to meet our needs and was more than willing to work with us and we got a great deal. The only thing we didn't like was the paperwork and how long it takes. But I guess that is just the way it goes. Really they did a great job and were very helpful and accomodating I couldn't ask for anything more. Thanks to all that helped get me in my BMW!

I have been a customer of Mike Haggerty for over twenty years, that has involved the purchase of five cars. I have always found his dealership to be helpful, and most important of all great on prices. The service department is professional and gives me outstanding service. I would not hesitate to recommend this dealership.

Tried for 2 weeks, talked to at emailed 3 different people and could never get an answer to these 2 questions: what color is the veh and what options does it have? They must have enough business that they don't need my $. Looking else where.

I purchase all of my new cars from Haggerty in Oak Lawn. So does my family. Overall good services from the sales department. I also service my car at their service department. Huge facility! Very fast and they offer free car washes whenever I am in the area. A+ Business!

I took my car to the dealer because no else seem to know why it kept die out while driving, so they said it was the mass air flow sensor. They replaced the part and after I paid them $705.00 and drove away the car die a block away. I brung it back they said the part they replace was faulty so they replaced it again and I picked it up 3 days later and before I can gt to the expressway the check engine came on. they gace me a loaner to drive until they figure out the problem, now they tell me it the catalyst converter and they had the nerve to said I might have the same problem with it cutting off. they would fix the converter or give me my money back. when I the last time they put 10.00 worth of gas in my car after I complained about they drove all my gas out, and I with the check engine light on. This experience had been a nightmare and a JOKE!!!!

Bait and switch tactics used here. Very bad watch out for them. Told me the car I was driving had navigation system and then when I purchased it and realized it had no navigation , Pete the sales manager said tough luck you've already signed the paperwork. Do not go here, I learned my lesson the hard way.

I have owned my 2010 Buick LaCross CXS for 2 weeks. So far the the check engine light has been on 4 times I called my sales person Dennis after the second time the light came on and he asked me to take it to their service department (which I had the hardest time getting through) by the time I got to the dealer the check engine light was off. The service department told me all the codes came back fine. I was told by Bill Haggerty that I could call onstar diagnostics when the light was on so the 3rd time the light came on I did and onstar ran a diagnostics and found the problem so onstar tried to do a 3 way call with the service department and the service department told Kerri the onstar representative that she could not take notes of the diagnostics findings and their was no tech available to speak with either. All she could do for us was make another appointment. I hate to think of what the future with this car will be? I think I will get rid of it as soon as possible 60 day buy back consult with an attorney about lemon law something! At 2 weeks of owning this car I would think I would be spending my weekends enjoying it not at the dealer getting it fixed wouldnt you think!
