It was close to 5 pm on Saturday (Oct 16) when we arrived at Honda's service center on Vestal Parkway. My husband and I were transported there by a Triple A driver who had towed our car there as our clutch had gone. We needed to call a taxi and didn't have a phone. Looking around for some help we saw Nick in the showroom. We explained we needed to make a call and he said he would call a taxi for us. We began talking and asked, out of curiosity, how much a new car would cost. He gave us the options, with costs, and showed us what was available on the lot. He said he would call us early Monday morning to give us an update on our car repair (this was very comforting). And that is how it happened. The next day we drove home with our new car. Nick was personable and sincere. We both liked him and would recommend him to neighbors and friends.

Basically the title of my review says it all. I was dealing with another semi-local dealership, but after speaking with a friend who has worked for Honda corporate for many years who said "try miller, and ask for Nick". I took his advice, and it was great advice. Nick was responsive, upbeat, incredibly friendly, communicative, and got me a great deal on a new Honda with everything I wanted. So I'll give everyone else the same great advice I got, try Miller Honda, and ask for Nick Tomaras. Side note, I gave 5 stars for repairs, technically I didn't have repairs done, but the car did go to the service department for a car starter installation, and they did great work.

I have been a customer of the Miller Auto Team in Vestal, NY since the 1980's. I love Hondas and they always have a great selection. It is important to note that about 15 years ago I had a non-satisfying experience with a saleswoman and went to Ithaca for my new Hondas for a few years. But I was tempted back in 2010 and boy am I glad!! That year I bought a 2011 Honda Accord EX-L and for the first time decided to faithfully use their Services department for all scheduled maintenance instead of my own mechanic. I was totally amazed at the excellent service, reasonable cost and responsiveness to my needs. This year I started to think about a 2017 in the same model. On Sunday, as I was looking at my calendar for a good time to take the car in for 60K maintenance, I thought to look at the website to see if the 2017's were in. There were five and one was blue! I arrived on the lot first thing Monday morning and just as I located the car, I was greeted by salesman Pat Cibulsky. As we discussed a test drive, we realized the car had actually hit the lot the day before and had not yet gone through dealer prep. Pat immediately worked with the great guys in the service department to ensure that it could be ready for a test drive the next morning. Mind you, it was a very busy Monday, many new cars needed processing in and the dealership was in the midst of a move between buildings. Mid afternoon that day, Pat called to assure me the car would be ready for our test drive on Tuesday morning. I was impressed that Pat took the time to review the most critical information as we sat in the car before the test drive. In all our discussions I found him to be very clear and informative. He was able to assess my needs and buying style and not waste time overselling. I found the smooth and quiet ride to be that of a luxury vehicle and I love the new safety features I didn't have in the 2011. I was beyond thrilled to find the 60/40 backseat split!!!! I had been begging for that in my last two Accords.I can be a salesman's bane because I love to wheel and deal and make them sweat and go up at least one level of management to get a low price. However this time I was moved to make things just as easy and straight forward as Pat's style. We achieved a suitable price in one step and both felt that they and I were getting a good deal.I returned the next day to pick up my new Accord and found things well in hand for our final paperwork. This was extra amazing since Pat and his peers had moved their offices to a new building over night. The entire purchase process and detailed review with Pat of the features added since my 2011 Accord purchase was carefully done so that I felt fully informed and ready to venture forth.Pat is the type of salesman I like to work with! He assesses his client and comes in at the right level of information and support to provide immediate two-way communication. He knows his product and selling process and he knows the best way to make the customer feel comfortable...never overstating or pushing.The whole buying process for my new Accord was fun, easy and informative. Great job, Pat!!! Looking forward to my continued support from the Service team at Miller Auto Team as we go forward. You can bet I will be singing the praises of this wonderful dealership and salesman!!

Everyone was very friendly, without making me feel overwhelmed. Nick was professional and did not make me feel rushed at all. He was very accommodating with the pickup time for my new purchase when I asked to change it, and made sure I felt comfortable and familiar with my new car before leaving. I would highly recommend the Miller Auto team and sales rep John Castelli to purchase a new or used vehicle. I was looking to purchase a Sonata from the dealership I saw listed online. Mr. Castelli showed us not only the vehicle I was interested in, but also gave us a look at several other Sonata's on the lot that were available as well. While I was there, I talked to John extensively about professional hockey in the area then and now, as I remembered John from his days years ago working for the Binghamton Whalers. The buying process was smooth as glass. I received a fair trade for my old vehicle and the finance process was also very quick and easy. Working and chatting with John was the best part of the process. I never once felt pressured to make the purchase or hurried to make a decision. Instead I felt John treated me like a friend he had known for years and not just a customer the dealership was trying to make a quick sale on. Having a buying experience where you are treated like a friend is something that is not only rare in this day and age, but it also shows the value that the Miller Auto team puts on the customer experience by having such dedicated sales associates. Again, I would highly recommend John Castelli and the Miller Auto team for anyone looking to get a fair deal and a no hassle, positive buying experience. And with that all being said, I really enjoy the 2014 Sonata I purchased from John and am confident that I will be in this car for years to come. We went to Millers to look at Hyundai and Honda. Nick initially helped my wife take a look around and gave some info on the vehicles and lease programs. We went back together later that day and took out 3 cars for test drives. Nick was more than happy finding the different vehicles for us to look at. We left that day with no pressure to sign up for anything or commit to buy. I did some research and came up with a shortlist. We were able to go back the next day and test drive our last two contenders before making our decision. It was a busy Saturday and Nick was assisting other customers but still had time to make sure we were OK. The free sodas, juice and TV really helped out keeping our 3 year old occupied.Once we had decided, filled out some forms, got final figures, spoke to Bob the Finance man and then waited until Monday to pick up the car. When we got there the car was ready, all the paperwork was sorted and it took about 45 mins. Very happy with the car, I think we got a good deal and my daughter loves the cows in the show room

We had a thoroughly enjoyable and satisfying experience buying a 2015 Civic from Nick Tomaras and Miller Honda. When we first visited to test drive some cars, Nick supplied sample cars, sufficiently gassed up and gave us plenty of time to adequately try out the cars (as opposed to another local dealer whose test drive cars get a block from the dealer and have the "low fuel" light come on). Nick was attentive, informative but never pushy.. And once we decided that the Civic was our first choice, we quickly arrived at a very fair deal with Nick and purchased the vehicle. I recently bought a new vehicle from this dealer. The salesman who assisted me, Charlie Haupt, was friendly, helpful, and seemed forthcoming and honest. I appreciated that he was unlike many salesman at other dealerships who were pushy and obnoxiously aggressive in their sales tactics. I have not yet had any experience bringing the vehicle in for repairs, but am optimistic that this will also be a pleasant experience.

Sales person was very professional and knowledgeable about the vehicles we were looking at, and was helpful and informative during the test drive. He understood the need for expedience in the buying process and focused in on solutions and answers right away. The car was ready on time and the sales transaction went very smoothly. My husband completed the sale, and an hour later when I got in the car I realized the Sirius radio had not been programmed to begin service. I called our sales person who helped right away, and helped again the next day when the Sirius dropped service unexpectedly. My only dissatisfaction - and they are minor points - was that the car was handed over to us with about a 1/4 tank gas (we picked it up on a Friday evening and by Saturday afternoon I already had the blinking gas guage) - I gave them more gas in my traade in than they gave me in my purchased vehicle. Also, while I understand that there will be a mileage difference from the advertised mileage (due to test drives, being used as a loaner, etc) - the advertised mileage was approx 27.9K, and on Saturday afternoon when I filled the gas I noticed the mileage had rolled to 30K. That's a significant differential. Otherwise, though, I love the car, am happy we bought it, have used Miller for years with our previous Honda and will look forward to servicing this vehicle with them as well. I would definitely recommend Miller in general and our sales person John Stout in particular to anyone in the market for a car.

We had been searching for a Dodge Durango for awhile when I came across one we liked at Miller Auto Team. It was about 6:30 pm when I came across it and decided to give them a call seeing as they are open till 8. I ended up speaking to salesman John Stout. Well after telling him that we had a trade in and what we were interested in and being 5 hours away I wanted John to run some rough numbers first to see if the numbers were going to work with our payment financial wise and to see how much they were going to offer for our trade in. Also letting him know we were still shopping around. John went above and beyond and got back to me within an hour of calling him. (Remember they close at 8) John worked right up till 8 o'clock answering any questions we had. Which I was very pleased with. He also went out of his way on his day off by stopping into the dealership to check on some things for us and continued to check in with us to see if we had any questions or concerns at all. Well after shopping around for a couple more days and some negotiating on the price and details, We decided to purchase the Durango from Miller auto team. Everything was done over the phone other than signing the paperwork. We made the drive down and we were in and out in about an hour minus the test drive of the Durango to check everything over. Would have to say John is by far one the best salesman I have ever dealt with. Customer satisfaction is there number one priority from my experience and we are very happy with our purchase. We purchased a 2016 Honda CR-V from Miller Honda and couldn't be happier with the experience. Everyone we interacted with was welcoming, courteous and helpful without apparent expectation. Our salesperson, Nick Tomaras, was wonderful to deal with, knowledgeable, relaxed and very easy to talk to. At no point did we feel pressured or rushed. At delivery he continued to work with us to explain the systems and their functions without any urgency even though the process lasted beyond the dealerships scheduled closing time. He made every effort to make sure we understood the cars features and functions and followed up the next day to ask if we had additional questions and were satisfied with our purchase. I have owned several Hondas, and I purchased one from Miller Auto Team two years ago. At that time, John Castelli was such a pleasure to work with, that I requested to meet with him on the purchase of two cars this past weekend. I didn't think it was possible, but he was even more personable, patient, and professional. I make it a point to not just research the vehicles, but search for the best service from the sales staff from where I am purchasing such a large investment. This is why I drove 3 hours round trip to Vestal, and met with John at the Miller Auto Team. It was pleasure and very comfortable experience doing business with John. Thank you!

We were looking for a specific vehicle to purchase (Chevy Avalanche-Black Diamond Series). We found one over 300 miles from our home in Massachusetts at Miller Auto Team in Vestal New York. We spoke to the salesperson John Castelli on many differnt occasions. We explained our concerns with purchasing a vehicle site unseen and so far away. John said the vehicle is in excellent condition and that we would not be disapointed. John suggested that he would send two drivers to meet with us in Worcester Mass. (4 hour drive for his team and 2 hour drive for us). We met in Worcester Mass, took the vehicle for a test drive and examined it from bumper to bumper. When we test drove it we noticed that the front brakes were not right and mentioned that to Gary (Miller Auto Team person) and he agreed. We imediately called John Castelli and he assured us that they would pay for the cost of the repair if needed. With that in mind we purchased our car, drove back to the Cape and the next day our front brake rotors were repaired and Miller Auto picked up the cost. Miller Auto Team and our salesperson John went above and beyond. Thank you to John and the drivers Mike and Gary. Very pleasant and honest people to do business with.

I have had my car serviced at this dealership several times, the last time was for an oil change and I had the tires rotated. After i left the dealership I check the oil life percentage, it was not at 100%. I called them and had to take my car back to have it reset, over the next couple of days I noticed the car had a vibration I had the car inspected today and all of the tires were out of balance. It's only been two weeks since it was serviced. Another time I took it to them for an oil change they told me the alignment was out, I had just had it aligned less then a month ago, they said it was a "rolling alignment check", I had them recheck it again and surprise the aligment was fine.

This was my first time buying a car from Miller Honda and Nick made my purchase a very pleasant one. Working with the Miller Auto Team was a great experience! Nick Tomaras was helpful from day 1, answering a wide variety of questions patiently and knowledgeably. I have not had any repairs on this car ( it's only a week old), but I have always been happy with the service department in the past.They too answer all my questions in a helpful patient manner. This is the fourth vehicle I have bought from Miller Auto,with Sam Chinyavong as my sales consultant.The quality of used cars is top notch.My latest purchase was a Hyundai Elantra 4 door SE sedan.When I took it for a test drive I noticed the braked pulsed when I applied the brakes.They shampooed the seats and replaced both front and rear brakes,pads and rotors.I am very satisfied with this car and the Miller team.

Bought my 2014 from Miller and then went back in early March to get my 2016 and turn in my 2014 vehicle early. Couldn't be happier. The knowledge level of Nick Tomaras is incredible. Kyle was great to work with when we were looking for a new car. We had done some shopping around and found the car we wanted at another dealership that was cheaper but Miller would match any price. After my accident where someone hit me head on feb. 4th of this year in the car i bought from Miller Auto Team 1 year earlier in Jan.2015, the car was totaled. Their Service Center is rude, unreliable, and doesn't honor appointments. I have bought 3 brand new cars from Miller and with the first two I stopped taking it to their service center because they over charged me several times for routine things, made me wait forever and/or said they didn't have my appointment when I showed up. When I bought my 2014 CRV it came with free oil changes for life so I thought I would give them another chance. In July I made an appointment for an oil change and inspection toward the end of August - over 3 weeks in advance. I scheduled time off work. They now tell me they can only do the oil change and can't do the inspection until the 2nd week in Sept at the earliest! I have a wedding to go to out of town Labor Day weekend. I need my car inspected by the end of the month not mid September. This puts me in a huge bind now. It is not the way I expect to be treated as a loyal returning customer. Once they sell you the car and they get your money that's it. A free oil change and inspection should have cost me $10 total. Since it's not $$$ it's not worth their time apparently. This is not the first time they screwed up an appointment I made but it will definitely be the last. I will NEVER buy another car there and NEVER take my car to their rude, disorganized, untrustworthy, unreliable service center.

When I walked into Miller with my father looking for a car, I had already dealt (and haggled) with many, many other sales reps between Rochester and Ithaca, NY. I was uninterested in visiting ANOTHER dealer, but my dad insisted. John Castelli was the sales rep to meet with us. My patience was running thin, so I simply laid my written wish list on John's desk and was frank with him in asking "What can you do?" He looked at my list and admitted it was lofty given my price range, but he would do his best. John did MORE than his best! He found me a car that fit my precisely fit my wish list. And his welcoming demeanor, warm personality, and kindness only sweetened the deal. He told us about his family, which led us to discover my friendship ties with his daughter and her fiance. I was (and still am) 150% pleased with my decision to follow my dad's recommendation in stopping at Miller and then purchasing my car through John. I bought a car (used) on my terms and I feel good about that. Although I don't have a lot of experience behind me, my dad admitted that John was the best sales rep HE had ever worked with. I'm a young professional and foresee going back to Miller (and hopefully work with John) for many years to come. I enjoyed my experience and HIGHLY recommend it. As for the quality of any repairs - so far I have only had my oil changed there and it was an excellent experience. While changing my oil they noticed a couple of other maintenance items and were kind enough to update them. They were also very fast about the oil change; I didn't wait more than an hour.

He was knowledgeable about the features of each vehicle. He made himself available when I visited the dealership. John & the sales manager were reasonable on the base price. When I arrived to pick up the car, it was obvious John was very experienced at the process. The paperwork was well organized, the insurance & registration had been setup perfectly. The car was beautiful and ready to be driven home after the check was signed. I, also, had the opportunity to meet the Service manager, Mike Lidell. Mike, also, took the time to provide in-depth information on a technical issue before I purchased the vehicle.

My husband and I recently went to Miller Honda to look at leasing the CRV. We worked with Danny and had a great experience start to finish. Danny was easy going, didn't rush our decision making process, and was easy to talk to about what we wanted both in terms of price and what we wanted from a vehicle. We were in the market for a cross over and had visited the other major dealerships in the area, and as Honda was our last stop for the day we had braced ourselves for the typical haggle and pressuring that we received at other dealerships. Again, there was very little pressure and minimal haggling- their first offer on our trade in was fair market price and there was no pressure about needing to get a commitment before proposing our deal to the sales manager. I would highly recommend both Danny and Miller Honda to anyone who asks. Should have started there and could have saved ourselves hours and hours of back and forth with other dealers just trying to get a fair price! Even if their prices were higher than other dealers, which they are not, I would return and pay a little more just to be treated the way we were at Miller.

Brought my 2012 Hyuandi Elantra into their shop today with an appointment time of 1 pm, brought it in at least a half hour to hour early. Was told to come back at 4 pm for a pick up time. Pulled up at 3:30 went inside was told it hasn't even been looked at yet. Ten minutes later a man went out to get it stopped in the parking lot for 5 minutes to talk to another mechanic then finally went into te shop. I then went into the waiting room where my car was in the shop for 20 minutes when they came and told me they ordered my a new engine, but couldn't tell me what was wrong. When I asked them if this new engine would come with a new warranty their response was no once the engine hits 60,000 there was nothing they could do. THEY WERE WRONG! I called hyuandi directly and they told me from the day they drop the new engine in it comes with a 1yr/12,000 mile warranty. They are pure headache and misery. I will only bring my car there for them to replace he engine and I will be going elsewhere and possibly trading my hyuandi in and will not buy a hyuandi or Honda in order to nt have to deal with anything miller auto team ever again!!!!

was dealing with a rep via online, we set up an appt for saturday 3pm. was told the rep would have the car ready for me and to ask for her when i got there. after a 2+ hour drive we get to millers, a gentleman asks if he can help us, told him we were to meet with a certain rep, was told she doesn't work on saturday's, and the dealer had never heard of us, now the kicker, the car was sold 15 minutes earlier! so a 5 hour round trip drive for nothing.

I can't say enough about the Miller Auto Team. I first interacted with them in Summer 2013, when I saw an online ad for a pre-owned Subaru Forester. I took the hour drive south from Syracuse to check out that vehicle, and while all the information was accurate and fair, I decided that wasn't the car for me. But I was so impressed with my salesperson, Nolan, and the entire dealership, that I kept a close eye on their website for other cars that might be good for me. On a Friday night in September, I saw a posting for a 2005 Honda Pilot that had been sold and serviced at their dealership, and I drove down the next morning. They offered an extraordinarily competitive price, and I purchased the vehicle that day. I've also had the opportunity to work with their service dept (because of the extreme cold, a hose broke in January--nothing mechanically deficient with the car itself), and they (and their service manager, Mike Lidell) were also outstanding. I only wish that I lived closer to them so that I could have them perform my regular service. I do know one thing, though: I'll always make the trip down to Vestal for my cars in the future.

After reviewing several Hondas for sale online, my husband and I decided to check one out at Miller. The experience was one of the BEST we ever had. All our questions were answered with great patience, as we are "senior citizens" and the car market is a lot different than it used to be. Everyone was willing to go the extra mile to help us and we did purchase our Honda Civic and we LOVE the car. The showing and sale was done in a timely, courteous, professional manner and we both truly enjoyed buying our car. And a lot of laughter and smiles added to the experience. Thank you all so much. I went to Miller out of frustration over Toyota not fixing the oil consumption issue in my 2007 Rav4. They claimed burning up to 1 quart of oil per 1,000 miles was acceptable, and would not do the TSB calling for new piston rings. Utterly fed up with dealing with them I took my lunch break to go look at what Miller offered. As I wandered around looking at Honda Pilots and anything that might have 3rd row seating for 7 or 8 Nick Tomaras came out to greet me. He was busy helping some other customers, but while he was waiting on paperwork he grabbed keys to open up 3 SUV's for me to poke around in by myself. I was able to video chat with my wife at home and go over most of the features of each vehicle, pros and cons, and what we liked best. We decided the Pathfinder suited us best, and came back the next day to test drive it. After falling in love with it Nick was able to get my trade value bumped to cover the Rav's remaining loan, and 4 new tires on the Pathfinder to get us through winter. While doing the tires the Miller team noticed the wrong size had been put on, and corrected that! These are nice all terrain tires that should get my wife anywhere she needs to go as well! Adam in finance checked several providers to get the lowest rate, and by our pickup date had lowered the rate to almost half of what had been estimated during my credit check! So when we picked up the truck we had a nice surprise of lower interest rate and lower monthly payment! Wife is happy, kids love it, I didn't get a headache, no hassles. Have to say this was my best car buying experience thus far, and I've bought 4 cars before this.

We needed a 'newer' used vehicle for our son who is moving to South Carolina for college. Stopped in and spoke with Matt Miller and Joe Wallick, both of who listened to what we were looking for, came up with a couple of suggestions, and let us loose on the lot. One of the cars was a 2009 Mercury, with low mileage in great condition and a clean CarFax. We drove it. We bought it. They took the time to find out what our needs were, recommended a few vehicles and let us make our own decision. The entire experience was stress-free and the vehicles we looked at were clean and ready to drive. Thanks to Matt and Joe for making the process easy and a positive experience for us and our son!

Miller sold us a supposedly brand new car with no previous owner. After couple months of driving the car, we noticed one of the doors had been repainted. It was obvious there was some kind of previous damage to the car that the dealer covered up and neglected to tell us. We use to think highly of Miller Dealership until the terrible service they had provided. We had also taken the same veichle in for service for alignment which ended up to be in worse shaking condition then it was before it went in for service to be done. And now, it is obvious they cheat their customers. its all about making money for them and not customer service.

Our family went to Miller Honda to look at the new Accords. We had a great experience with the salespeople there. They did a great job showing and telling us about the cars that we had looked at. They treated us with great respect,care, and kindness. At the end result,my mom ended up purchasing a 2011 Accord Sedan Special Edition. Both my mom and our family are all very satisfied with the car.

After a friend told me about his great experience we stopped by miller for a test drive. Everyone was friendly and we didn't feel any pressure to buy right away. We drove about 4 or 5 different cars and the salesman we worked with was very patient and helpful. We love our new Hyundai and also are getting free oil changes for life from Miller. We're very happy with our purchase.
