Update: we canceled the sell. Mary was kind enough to do that. Adding one star. Not buying a MINI today. Original: If there was another MINI dealership within in 200 miles, I would have walked out and gone there. The sales people were good. Neil and Bill were great. Bill was put in an awkward situation and was very professional. But their finance person, Mary, from the beginning was rude and pushed back on everything we suggested. She acted like it was our fault that we didn’t bring proof of residency with us, but she didn’t tell us we needed it when we set the appointment up with her. We wanted to use outside financing and she acted like it would take a week to get it to go through. If she had mentioned it the day before we could have brought the paperwork with us. We gave her proof of financing and she refused to let us take the car. I have never had this much trouble with buying a car and I buy one every 1-2 years. Contemplating on canceling the sell.

I began the search online and went to the dealership at the suggestion of Karen Fortune to see the car and consider putting down a deposit to hold the car. Karen was off that day. Steve Emerson stepped in and encouraged me to get a trade in value for my 2002 Jaquar. Steve counseled me in a a very professional, no nonsense manner. He worked with me in very clear, upfront terms. I was able to understand the options I had given all the variables. Steve made completing the deal easy. I left feeling that the Steve worked out a win for both me and the dealership. Karen made a point to stop by on her day off and check in. This was without a double the most pleasant, stress free automobile transaction I have ever experienced. My family loves the Land Rover I purchased

I needed a car that delivered good fuel mileage to drive for work purposes but since most cars today look as though they have been cloned and all basically look the same, so I decided to look at the Mini Cooper, at Mini of St. Louis. Motoring Advisor Karen Fortune assisted me in my search for my new Mini Cooper. I can honestly say that this new car purchase experience with Karen and Mini of St. Louis was the most pleasant and smoothest new car purchase I have ever made.
