Man if i could give six stars I would have. This experience was really cool. Second time in the past 4 months my wife and I have purchased a car. Both from Modern. Her car was from Modern Infinity in Greensboro. I purchased my truck from Nick Restrepo at Modern Nissan in Winston. I showed up early on Labor Day. The vehicle wasn't sitting in the lot, like the wonderful world wide web had said it would be. Nick met me at the door before they even opened. I told him what I was looking for, and he had to do some checking. He found the vehicle at Modern Toyota. Modern had recently acquired it, and it wasn't yet available for purchase. We did some paper work so I could tie it down until it was ready to purchase. The Truck needed a little TLC. I asked that Modern replace the bumper since it had a crack in it. Nick agreed and said he would get the bumper replaced and get the truck detailed and I would be ready. Well Modern not only replaced the Bumper, but they also put four new tires on it, replaced the shocks and struts, and gave it one heck of a detailing. Nick thank you so much for the hard work. I love the truck. This is my second Frontier. First one I got 330,000 miles on. I will be back. Do yourselves a favor and go Visit Nick at Modern in Winston. Thanks Modern and Thank you Nick.

This was the best car buying experience I have ever had! My salesperson, Stephanie Maybe, was awesome and she helped my wife and me choose a vehicle that met our budget. The finance guy, Terrell Miller, was very helpful and friendly. He also helped us get an affordable extended warranty on the car. And the most impressive part of our experience was that we were able to finance a Brad new car with NO money down! The reason this was amazing was because my wife and I filed bankruptcy just 2 years ago. We also had a repo just last year and I was about certain we would not qualify for anything th wasn't used. The good people at Modern worked with us through all of this and we were done in under 3 hours, which is the quickest I have ever been able to purchase a new car. I will be buying my next vehicle here, and probably all vehicles for the rest of my life. Great place, and I cannot say enough good things about them.

After researching SUVs and test driving everything around, we decided to purchase from Modern Toyota. Our sales agent, Elizabeth Hood, was very knowledgeable and professional. The overall experience is one of the best we have had with a dealer. The overall atmosphere at the dealership is one of a big happy family. I arranged for several test drives on the same SUVs on multiple days (usually after finding one at another dealership that I liked almost as much as the Nissan) but I kept coming back to the Nissan. I plan to have this car for a long long time some service after sale was extremely important. I feel confidant that any service needs will be met with the same quality experience as the sales. We came to Modern Nissan to look around late one evening. We knew we wanted a Nissan Altima. Joe Shaw provided the best excellent customer service to both my son and I.Joe was very knowledgeable of vehicle product line that we were looking at. Once we decided on purchasing the 2012 Nissan Altima we returned to the dealership. Again, Joe Shaw continued to provide integrity and professionalism throughout the paperwork process. Joe and staff stayed late that evening finishing the paperwork process. He and the finance manager gave my son and I clear explanation of all pricing and paperwork. As a parent, we all want our children driving a safe and reliable vehicle when they leave for college. Joe went to great lengths to make sure the Altima that we purchased went through a thorough inspection along with a full detail prior to our purchase. Joe spent a great deal of time with my son explaining all the features of the Altima. Knowing the awesome experience at Modern Nissan there will be no question as to where I will go for my next vehicle purchase. I went with my wife to purchase a vehicle. There was no negotiation on the price of the vehicle. They were asking a little more than we wanted to pay. They submitted the numbers they wanted to the bank without our prior approval. After doing that they told us we were approved for for a really high monthly payment and said that if we tried to run different numbers it would drastically lower my wife's credit score. Needless to say we didn't purchase the vehicle.

the one reason I came to Nissan is for their quality, I bought a 2011 nissan truck and had no problems with the truck, however one thing I would think that should be solid in performance is the radio and c/d ......... my c/d and radio system stop playing and nissan didn't know why., so they replace it and then again around a year it goes out again, so I take it back and nissan will not address my issue w/out paying for it. here is the problem I have they could not explain why the radio stop working in the first place now they want to charge me. I truly feel that they should replace to keep good relation.. nevertheless I will not be back ......very disappointed

Mercy was my Sales rep and she did an outstanding job making the whole experience one of the best I had ever had and I have purchased over 15 vehicles over time. She had the truck there for a test drive, answered all my questons and took as much time as I needed.No pressure, no hurry up to get to the next customer. 100% of her time was on me, the customer. The no haggle internet pricing made the most worriesom part of the process a non-event. The price was set and we went throught the paperwork of purchase quickly. Even the financing was easy and the documents were ready when I was. Finally, Mercy made a statement I won't forget, she wasn't just the sales person, she would be with me throughout the life of my truck for any issue, question or need. That was impactful and I will certainly take her up on that if I ever need some help.

I had been searching all over for a used car (internet and car lots) when I contacted Modern Nissan of Winston because I knew I had fallen in love with the style of the Mazda CX-7 and wanted to check their inventory. I spoke with a lady named Kelly Edwards on Wednesday who informed me that they currently didn't have any at their store but she would check the other Modern dealerships to make certain they didn't have any before letting me go. Upon looking, she was able to find that the Modern Toyota had just received a 2011 Mazda CX-7. I immediately told her I was very interested and that I would be down Saturday to look at it. When we arrived Saturday, she had already went to the Toyota dealership, picked it up and brought it back to her store, and had it sitting ready for me to test drive. She took a quick copy of my drivers license and told me I was ready to take it for a spin. In less than a mile I knew it was the car for me. When we arrived back, Kelly was the salesperson that completed all of the paperwork that could be finished at that time and made it very painless with how pleasant she was. We went back on Monday after getting the insurance taken care of and Kelly was the one to assist us again. She had us in and out in a matter of 15 minutes or less with a brand new car. She also left a present in our car for our one year old daughter, a stuffed carfox animal in which she played with all of the way home. I couldn't be more pleased with our experience at this dealership and if there is more car buying in our future, Modern Nissan will sure get our business again!

I went in have my 2006 Frontier worked on (which I purchased here also) and received some bad news in regards to it and the repairs. After discussing my options with the Service Department and Sales Department I decided to make a purchase of another Frontier. He could not have made it a more comfortable, enjoyable experience-- even with my indecisiveness and wavering regarding the exact car I wanted! We ended up with a 2015 Nissan Altima and we could not be happier with it! My husband and I were both thrilled with our service from the moment we entered the doors to the moment we left. We have already been telling our friends about our wonderful experience there, hoping they visit Modern Nissan too. I love my new nisssan altima that I purchased from Modern Nissan. My sales person was Joe Pierce . Joe knows how to find exactly what you want and for the price you want. I have been comparison shopping for my next new car (have owned my current vehicle for 8 years). I was interested in test driving a Nissan Rogue and happened to be on the side of town where the dealership is located. So I stopped in to see if I could get this done on my schedule. After spending a few minutes outside looking at the Rogues in the very cold temps of January I had not been approached at all by a salesperson. At first I thought this was nice; perhaps they were just allowing me time to shop without being hassled. Then I stepped inside the showroom. I was not acknowledged in any way not even a hello from the "info" desk. I was actually very surprised by this. I made my way over to the Brochure area to see if I could locate one on the Rogue (even though I had already done my research online and knew exactly which trim level I wanted to see). There were no Rogue books on the shelf and I continued to walk around the showroom for a full 10 painful minutes without anyone coming up to me or asking if I could be helped. At this point I lost my patience. I had considered the Rogue but given the lack of customer service I may have to rethink my options since I am local and would have to use this dealer for service even if I decided to purchase a Nissan at another dealership. I've had to deal with some annoying sales people since starting my car buying research but I have never been flat out ignored and made to feel as if I shouldn't even be in the showroom. Not a great feeling to leave a possible customer with bottom line.

I bought my 2005 Nissan Altima from here and had a very pleasant experie.I had every intentions in going back for a 2015.5 years later (yesterday) I had a bad day to say the least and ended up having my car towed to the service center just before they closed.The guy in that department was very nice and explained to me what could possibly take place tomorrow. After speaking with him he told me I could wait for my cab in the lounge of the sales department. I stopped by the receptionist desk to let her know I just had my car towed to the service center and was told I could sit and wait for a cab here.She was very nice and even kept an out for my cab; my view was blocked by a beautiful nissan pathfinder on the floor.I sat there for at least 45 minutes to an hour,during this time of the year university parkway traffic can be quite hectic, which is expected. The whole time I sat there I was never approched or acknowledged. You would've thought I had 3 heads on my shoulders the way I was looked at.It was so hurtful.I even picked up a pamphlet about buying a used car just to see if anyone would then approach me,but no,just stared at.One lady in a santa claus hat gave me the weirdest smirk as a group of them stood there starring at me.I was pre-approved by my bank (secu)for a new car loan a couple of months ago and was going right back to modern nissan for the 2015 altima,nicely priced,right in my range.My son is a senoir set to graduate and I plan on fixing up my 2005 to give to him.Nissan's are good cars and I'll definitely get another one in the near future (January- March).Sadly, it won't be from modern nissan. Customer Service is my specialty, I work at FTCC and WFU; and I take pride in making sure that everyone that walks through our doors for any reason is welcomed and acknowledged. I could only hope no other previous customer experience such humiliation and shun.Once a loyal and supportive return customer,now a disappointed and hurt person.

We have been looking at Maximas online for about 6 months. We came into town (2 hours away) to look at a car from a different dealership. That was a major disappointment. We came by Modern because they had one online that we loved, but was a little out of our budget. We thought we would look at it to make sure it was not misrepresented like the other one we just saw at a different dealership. What a surprise. This car looked even better in real life. Kelly Edwards came out to meet us. She is wonderful!!!! We told her about our past experience and that we just want to look this car over. She invited us in to look at numbers and we were able to come up with a deal. She was never pushy, and never tried to oversell. We were there for a while and she always addressed us by name. She even remembered our daughters name from her first introduction. Just a nice little bit of customer service. The facility if very clean. They have a Starbucks coffee machine that is awesome. I had some coffee and my husband and daughter had hot cocoa while we waited. Very yummy. The financial side did not take too long. There is always paperwork to complete and you know it is going to take some time - but it was not ridiculous. They gave us a full tank of gas, and got the car nice and clean. Kelly went over some of the fun options for this car and we were off. We drove away with a great feeling. We got a great car at a great price. What a great experience. Thank you Kelly and the rest of the Modern team.

I purchased a 2010 Rogue. I drive two hours every day, putting approx. 75 miles a day on my car. The first drive to work which was 4 days after buying my car was a nightmare! Keep in mind I had just been in an accident that was not my fault and my Subaru was totaled. On my way home from work at approx. 9pm, the car starting shaking so bad when I tried to use the brakes that I really thought I was going to run off the road and have a wreck (hwy 52 in Winston). My Quote certified car needed new Rotors and brakes which were obviously not caught during the certification process! I wanted the opportunity to turn the car in and get a car that I felt more comfortable with considering I had a bad wreck and was already nervous! They would not do anything for me! I bought the car at sticker price, no haggling and they offered to let me trade it back in but 3,000 less than what I had paid a week ago. Thank god I did not have a wreck, but I have been very disappointed and just have to hope at this point the car will not have any major issues. I also purchased all of the extended warranties, and asked that they be removed, with the exception of the GAP insurance. They said that they would cancel but no $ back, just would be a few less payments on my loan. I am a Manager for a wireless company, and I have done so much more for less when it comes to our customers! I loved the salesman, but he was out of town when all of this happened, and I am sure he would not have been able to do anything anyway. The most frustrating part of all of this was when I asked if a trade could be done, I specifically asked that they not come back as if I was any customer wanting to trade a car and drop the price by about 3,000, but that is exactly what they did. I paid full sticker price for the car, and they insulted my intelligence by what they offered. Too bad, because I was excited but would now have to say that I wish I would have gone to Subaru, they were always fair! All of the cars at the Winston Dealership that say they are certified should be looked at because missing rotors and brakes should be the first thing that is checked when certifying a vehicle

Modern Nissan did an outstanding job. They were super busy due to it being labor day. Everyone was very patient and didn't hesitate to answer all of our questions. John Potter was our sales associate he was very helpful and kind. I never felt pressured or overwhelmed. He even took the time to help me program the Bluetooth phone option as well as touch up the detailing as there was some wax left on the bumper and the car was black. The manager was also very friendly and helpful....he gave my husband a t shirt since the car was for me my husband didn't leave empty handed. Overall best car experience ever! Awesome job Modern!

I went in not expecting to buy a car with my parents. I am a first time buyer, not really sure what I'm getting myself into so bringing my parents in with me to help me negotiate was a must. The salesman we had was Collins and he was great. He informed me of the deals, stayed very calm over my parents talking, kept me focus on what I was looking for and incredibly polite. The new car manager was incredibly helpful as well and I didn't feel pressured to buy a car from the salesman or the manager. They helped me with a great deal on my very first car I was buying and were more than happy to go the extra mile if they needed to, to make sure my transition from my old car to my new car went smoothly. I really do miss my old car but I'm happy with the one I purchased and the way my transaction went.

After my car became too unreliable I had decided it was time for a new car. I have never owned a new car....I was deadest on a Honda Accord. I had went to a different Nissan dealer on a whim, and I LOVED the 2014 Altima. I done some research and saw there was a huge price difference at Modern Nissan of Winston-Salem. The next day, I headed to look at the Honda. It was nice.....and the price was a little too proud for me. I then went to look at the Altima I had picked out at Modern Nissan. My experience was WONDERFUL from start to finish. Joe Joy made me very comfortable and was very informative; you can tell he is just a people-person and I truly felt that he had my best interest in mind. I ended up getting the Altima I wanted for a much lower price than I would have paid, as well as getting an extended protection plan for a lower price. They were able to get me in an SV model for a price I can afford. Modern Nissan also has a big selection of colors for all the Nissan models. I am so glad I gave Nissan a chance, I got more car for my money.....and I think they are nicer than the Hondas!!!!!!!!!!!

I was pleased with the whole experience. Because of their huge volume we were able to find the color and interior we wanted. I was not pressured to settle for a car I wasn't excited about just so they could make a sell. The sales person was friendly, knowledgeable and interested in what we wanted and needed in a vehicle so she could find specific cars, which cut down the time we were at the dealership. I will definitely check here first when purchasing another vehicle.

I came to Modern after calling my long time friend and acquaintance, Steve Tuttle,, advising that I was on the lookoutfor a Toyota 4Runner. Steve advised he would be on the lookout for one. He called this week and advise they had onein Boone, NC and he asked John Potter to assist me. From then on through the closing on the purchase, Mr. Potter helpedme. He was completely knowledgeable in all aspects of the vehicle and its sale to me. He accompanied me on the testdrive and while on it took the time to program my radio to play blue tooth from my Iphone. He did what would have probablytaken me 2 hours to do with 3 phone calls, in about 8 minutes! I loved the 4Runner and hence purchased it. The dealershipwashed the car and gave me a full tank of gas to drive off the lot with! Went in for my 105000 mile recommended service package. I told the service rep of a noise I was hearing as well that did not pertain to the service I was getting. Service was performed quickly and efficiently. The noised came from a part that was getting ready to fail. I was called, informed of the failure, asked what I wanted done. The part was replaced, car serviced and I feel like my car is ready for another 105,000 miles and I am worry free. Modern Nissan has a quick, efficient and professional staff. Well this was my first car purchase from a dealership. We all have heard and read the horror stories so I was a pretty nervous. I was especially nervous because I drove 2 hours after work to get to Modern Nissan! I spoke with a lovely lady named Lacy throughout the day and we came to an agreement on price and I kept my fingers crossed that the car would still be available by the time I arrived at 7pm. Even though they close at 8pm they were very warm and welcoming when I arrived. The manager Keith was wonderful! I had the pleasure of working with the top salesman Joe Joy. He was very friendly, honest and trusting. We test drove the car, chatted a bit and then the time came to discuss numbers. He went to talk to Keith and all I was thinking was Lord please don't let him return with a number higher than what I was told prior to coming because I will surely drive back home without the car. I must say I was more than pleased and impressed when Joe came back with the EXACT number Lacy and I discussed! Not one dollar more. I must admit I fell in loveee with this whole team. The experience was a breeze. My father says it is the best experience he has ever had with dealerships. I got my ideal car for the best price on the market. I got it for about $6000 under MSRP price. Also, Reggie in the financing dept was very friendly as well. They are truly killing the competition! Believe me I am a real person and I had real concerns that were silenced the second I arrived. I had driven Datson/Nissan every since 1980. In 2011 I went a different route and leased a different manufacture whom I will not name. It was a leased car that the lease was about to run out (had 10 months left). I went to Modern Nissan to see what was available and what my options might be, I had no plans of buying a new cat at the time. Hannah spent several hours with me showing me several different style cars. She wanted to know what kind of payment I wanted to be at and several other things. When I left I had a brand new JUKE at the payment I wanted to be at. The experience was one of the best I have ever had buying a car. No hassels, No pressure, just a clean, smooth experience. I had been looking at a 2010 Nissan Maxima online for a little while and was very interested. I had walked away from one Nissan dealership because the customer service had gone down hill over the years and I was very uncomfortable with the offer even though it was a better offer than Modern's. I was looking to trade my Nissan Sentra for a Rogue. I had already made arrangements with my credit union about a vehicle purchase and had restricted terms. On June 15, 2013 I had an Appointment at Modern NIssan of Winston Salem. When my son and I arrived we were greeted with friendly faces offering us water and snacks. I was immediately placed with Pernell Callahan, my sales person. He was very imformative and upfront about what I would be be able to do. I wanted to trade in my 2008 Nissan Altima. The miles on my vehicle were extremely high which caused the value of the car to be less than the payoff. Yet, hours of trying to find the right car for us I finally made a decision to purchase the 2013 Nissan Sentra. Although the Sentra was cute, energy efficient and cost effective, I found myself extremely unhappy with that particular car, feeling as though I'd made my purchase impulsively. After leaving and returning home, feeling less that satisfied, I contacted Pernell about my dilemma, explaining to him how this Sentra was just not for me and that I would really like to look at the Altimas. While he could not make me any promises he said that he would work on getting me in the car that I really wanted. After days of calling each other I'd given up hope. However, on June 28, 2013 Pernell called and told me to come down and look at some Altimas! That very day I left with my 2013 Nissan Altima. Pernell Callahan I can't thank you enough for your assistance in all of this, you are awesome! I have to add that Modern Nissan of Winston Salem is the best dealership by far. They truly do want you to be satisfied and they make you feel like you are their number one customer!!!! I love My 2013 Nissan Altima!!!

Let me tell you about our buying experience at Modern Nissan in Winston Salem. While they welcome you to come visit in person if you are a person like me with limited time who don't like to hang around a dealership all day, once you have selected your perfect Nissan on line take advantage of the pre-approval application on the website. After completion we were immediately contacted by the Internet Sales Manager. To access our trade they have a comprehensive questionnaire you may complete via email. I then received a call from the General Sales Manager, Keith McKeller, wanting to know exactly what I needed to happen financially in this transaction. He asked me for one hour and committed to calling me back with the deal. It was less than an hour when he called with the specifics of the trade and purchase, interest rate, payment, terms etc- contingent of course on the condition of my trade once we arrived at the dealership. We set a time that day for me to see our new Altima and we were so pleased because the element that most people hate- the negotiations- was now done and we only had a pleasant buying experience ahead. We arrived and the car had been delivered as promised. The paperwork was ready although there was a short wait. During this time we worked with a sales consultant, Hannah Milsap, learning the features of our new Altima. It was the most stress-free vehicle trade/purchase we have experienced. What impressed me the most was when Keith said " Ok, you've told me what you need, you don't need to do anything else- now the ball is in my court". Those words immediately put me at ease knowing he was committed to working with me, for me; to make this deal work within my terms. This is the first time a dealership has ever been so clear and objective in their intent and it was very effective. But, he didn't just say it, he actually did it! From what I understand it was a very busy day sales-wise but you wouldn't know it, we still received personalized individual attention and when a dealership can accomplish this, they have truly secured a customer for life and that is the ultimate goal! If you have not seen the new innovative 2013 Altima you MUST see it. This is my 4th Altima so I think that makes me an expert in the subject- and I have a more subjective prospective and high expectations and this car is designed with the driver in mind. It is designed to amaze! I purchased a 2013 2.5 SL in a new color, Sahara Stone( go see it, it's so classy). The technology package keeps on amazing me! In the interior the combination of wood grain, leather and metallic is stunning. The new NASA technology applied in the seats is noticeable as soon as you sit down. You must experience for yourself! Can you tell I love this car?? You can drive anything but you should be in a awesome Altima!

The sales people at Modern were friendly and responsive without being pushy. We purchased a 2008 Xterra for our son that was very clean and under an extended warranty because of the quality of upkeep the vehicle had had prior to our purchase. Shortly after our purchase, a tire monitoring system went bad-- it was not one of the 150 items covered under the warranty but they replaced at no cost anyway. The service team was excellent and helpful and willing to work with us on this first experience-- since we are in the area, it is the kind of gesture that will keep us coming back. Otherwise car has been excellent all around.Overall good quality used vehicles that are selected because of condition-- great, helpful service to go along with that. Sales experience was friendly and didn't leave us feeling used or frustrated-- that's saying a lot considering my usual attitude towards car purchases...

Purchased a 2009 Murano in 2012 . While purchasing I was asked if I wanted to add leather , heated and power seats for $1200 .I said sure sounds like a good price and just the added this we like . When it came back , the leather was sewn crocked , said couldn't put in heated or power seats . Then said oh I misquoted you , it's 1200 just for the leather ! I was shocked , I wouldn't have got anything . I'm still fighting this . Next is service ... took back , it has a loud thump like a bad mount but doesn't happen everytime you take off. Of course it didn't happen when took back , but service had a very bad attitude about it. That's when you find out if it's a good dealer , if there's a problem , not when the bank cuts them a check. Had Nissans all my life but think I'm done.

GREAT Experience......I just purchased a Versa (used) from the best bunch of guys in this world. Ron, Ray, Adam and Keith treated me and my boyfriend with the upmost respect and even stayed late in working with me to purchase a car on Friday. When I returned Saturday to finalize my purchase, again treated with the upmost respect. If anyone is looking to purchase a new or used vehicle come and visit these guys. Great Group! I went in to look at a used car and ended up buying a new Altima because the incentives made it so much cheaper. Everyone knows how frustrating negotiating a price can be, but these guys (especially Eddie) made it a fun experience. Collins was my salesman and when he was out unexpectedly Iseal filled in without hesitation. I didn't have to wait to sign for my car! They even beat my bank (a credit union) with financing which shocked me! I will definately deal with Modern again!

This was by the far the best car-buying experience we have ever had. Usually we dread this experience but it was pleasant and pain-free from start to finish. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The showroom is nice and clean, and the Starbucks coffee is a nice touch. We felt like we were being dealt with in an honest fashion without the usual runaround that often accompanies a car-buying experience. We got a great vehicle at a great price! I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a new or used car.

My family meet Ron Long in 2005 when fuel prices went through the sky high period. typically i never even fill out a questionaire however after purchasing my new maxima i really wanted to pass along kudos to these people. as soon asa i walked in this store i knew it was different! everyone was extremely helpful from the receptionist to the managers. even the general manager mr vincent put on my tag for me! he told me he likes a fun and exciting atmosphere well he certainly has created one! typically the gm wont even speak to the customers based on my past experiences. i highly recommend these people ! extremely easy to deal with! had a blast!! thank you

Both Will and Anthony were an extreme pleasure to work with. They understood my needs and did not pressure me into a decision. I have worked with Will in the past at another dealership, and was excited to find him closer to my home in Winston-Salem. Modern Nissan is the most courteous and professional dealership I have ever done business with. Wil Vinson has been extremely helpful to me and made this carbuying experience a great one. Anthony Miller was just great as he walked with me through the whole process as my salesperson. He goes the extra mile and makes sure that you are satisfied with your purchase. Reggie Bethea was very helpful and good to work with through all the mountain of paperwork involved in purchasing a new car. Phil Campbell in service was very helpful and courteous in a recent service I had done on another vehicle. Everyone is personable and at the same time very professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Stay away from these people! They are horrible and extremely unprofessional. Everyone on the sales floor is full of it. I have heard stories of people buying cars and having them for 30+ days and then having to return them due to a screw up on the dealers part. No one there has any idea as to what they are doing. This dealership does not focus on customer service at all. The managment is not helpful and quite dismissive. Take your business elsewhere!! If you do happen to buy a car from them keep in mind that you have been warned.

Sales: I bought my new Frontier from Ron in sales. He was very friendly and never <br>pushed me to buy from him. He met all my requirements and fullfilled the deal even picking up my truck at work to get cruise installed.<br> <br>Service: My wifes car has been serviced a few times and recieved a scratch on the center console while getting a new shift knob. We called our service advisor back and they promptly installed a new console. Only problem is they scratched the new console in another place. <br>
