Shady people. They’ll use a friend who is a “total car snob” to buy a car off people, then next day list it for thousands more. I did not want to sell to a dealership for this exact reason.

I was just in morehead motor company, they offered me a price over the phone with minor defects of the vehicle known to the dealer. They were well aware I had to drive 3 hours to look at a specific vehicle. When I got there, I test drove the truck, they took off 5500 they price they offered for my car with the known defects. Big scam. I drove just down the road to the Ford dealer ship where they offered me 5000 more than morehead motor company did. No excuse for that b.s I’ll take my money elsewhere and I did. I’m happy with my purchase from lookout Ford.

Hats off to Paul and Shane for by far the easiest vehicle purchase of my life. I live 2 hours away from the dealership and Paul was so easy to work with. We were able to handle everything over the phone with no question of mine left unanswered. Very happy with the value I was given for my trade in AND Paul was able to help me with financing and cut my interest rate in half!! Shane had all the paperwork ready when I arrived and I was in and out in 30 minutes. If anyone in Eastern NC is in the market for a quality pre owned vehicle I highly recommend giving these guys a shot before you make your final decision!!!!!

This was my first time purchasing a vehicle through a dealer, all I can say us that it was a good experience free from the hassle you normally hear about. Frank Gladwell is an exceptional salesman who made sure I understood the process from the beginning. He wasn't pushy or overbearing, he worked with me and gave me good a value for my trade in. I have no problem referring a friend or going back there in the future.

Bought a 2008 Subaru outback, shortly after purchasing it needed all new tires. I took it back into Morehead Motor Company and they had all my tires replaced with brand new tires! If i'm ever in the market of buying a car again, this place will be first on my list!

The hardest part about buying a car from Morehead Motor Company was making the decision to buy the car. Frank Gladwell made the rest easy. My first visit to Morehead Motor Company was to gather information. Frank patiently answered my questions and informed me of my options. I took all my Gladwell knowledge back to the wife and we discussed what we wanted to do. We went back to the lot and test drove the car. We decided to buy and Frank went to work on the paperwork, which he handled with the same efficiency, patience, and professionalization he exhibited throughout the process. I would definitely recommend Morehead Motor Company to anyone looking for a used car and professional service. When it comes time for me to get another car, I'll be heading there. Thanks Frank! I have a chaotic work schedule but when I talk to Frank he was very helpful, and we set up a good time that would work for me and when I got to the dealership everything was ready for me. The whole experience was great, no pressure and was able to answer all my questions!

Bought an 06' Forester. Low miles and beautiful interior. Buying was super simple, as Frank was very knowledgable of the process. Hooked me up with better financing than I thought I could get. Had small noise problem that I thought was the end of the world (turned out it was just a loose bolt), and they took care of it no questions asked. Great experience and a great bunch of guys!!
