I stopped in to this Mini dealer to inquire about replacing my 04 Mini Cooper S. I got the car brand new and have been driving it daily since 04. She is starting to get tired so I decided to do a little research on purchasing a new model. I can not tell you how excited I am to make my second purchase with this dealer. Ryan Nordstrom was the sales representative who helped me. He was sure to go above and beyond the call of duty. He put me beyond the wheel of every model I was curious about, loaded me with information on what was new with mini since I purchased mine, and made sure I left there that day with all the tools needed to make an informed purchase. I recently entered into a lease for a 2016 Mini Cooper Convertible and was disappointed to find that there was no Sirius Satellite radio installed and I was headed up to northern Wisconsin to our cabin for the summer. I had a deadline to get to my golf league so couldn't wait the extra day for the work to get done. I couldn't believe it when they offered me the loan of a clubman for my drive to Minocqua Wisconsin and my excellent salesman, Kris Petzrawises, drove MY car the 4 hours up to me when it was completed!! Everyhing about my experience was top rate -- and most of all I LOVE my caribbean aqua convertible mini cooper!! It is SO much fun to drive -- I can hardly get my husband out from behind the wheel!

Worst dealership I have ever been to. The car didn't match what was in the photos. They changed the wheels, and when I asked about it, they told me they had to change from winter to all season tires.. (tires and wheels are not the same things geniuses.) Because I would not finance through them, they threatened not to accept the check from my bank. After they woefully low-balled me on my trade, we had to haggle over that. We agree to a price, then, they refused to send the bill of sale to my bank telling me it would be easier for me to finance through them. The salesman was a really nice guy being put in a really bad spot by the GM. in a deal that should have been done in 20 minutes, they insisted on some of the worst behavior I have ever seen in a dealership. And, to make matters worse, the GM insisted that I fill out a BMW credit application, but, he called it an OFAC form (Office of Foreign Asset Controls). Unfortunately, when I contacted BMW credit, they were very clear that that form was NOT required to generate a bill of sale. Clearly, they knew I drove from Chicago, and they were going to try to bend me over until I took their credit offer.

We had a great experience finding, ordering, purchasing our amazing 2016 Mini Cooper S Clubman. Our sales person, Tim Sherry, was the best car salesperson we've ever run into, from preproduction through post-purchase. Jaron Crim was the 2nd Date "genius" whose job is specifically to help customers learn all about their new car after they've had it for a short time. While we had figured a lot out on our own and with the help of Tim during the purchase, the experience with Jaron was terrific, and we learned things that will be useful that we would have never known to ask about. All in all, our whole experience was first rate.

I think the car buying process can be intimidating, however, I was greeted with a warm welcoming smile and a genuine "what brings you in"? Hands down the best car buying experience I have had. Every person I came in contact with was welcoming. I love walking into a business and every employee makes you feel like a guest in their home and they are going to take great care of you. I came into Motorwerks MINI last week to check out the countryman and so many things about the place just made me happy to walk in the door. First off, was how welcoming the receptionist greeted me with a smile and directed me to a sales person quickly. She introduced me to Gretchen. I have never met a salesperson after telling her I was just looking for now and won't be in the market for another 6-12 months and still took care of me as if I were buying today. She showed me different models, new and pre- owned, and provided me with great information so I could learn more about the Mini's. She also gave me a little booklet about the models which I absolutely love. Can't wait to come back in there and see everyone again. :)

When I went into the store, the salesman spent 20 minutes searching for the unit, then took down my info and informed me that it had just been sold. The same car showed up online 2 weeks later and I sent in not one but two separate inquires via cars.com. Nobody followed up. I drove by the dealer and saw the car on the lot with a sold sign. Frustrated, I called the dealer to speak with a salesperson. The gentleman who took the car explained that someone had just placed a deposit and knew nothing of my inquiry. I asked to be transferred to a manager and he hung up the phone ! I then stopped into the dealer to speak with a sales manager to explain my dismay that nobody followed up. He agreed to follow up with me and thus far not a word. Looks like they sold the car and have no interest in my business. BEWARE!!

Overall, it was a good experience. My only complaint would be that it took a week to get a loaner car. We are a one-car household, and I drive 60 miles round trip every day for work, so not having a car is not an option. I don't know if it's a policy change or additional courtesy cars need to be added to the fleet, but this is an issue nearly every time I bring my car in and have to leave her overnight.

I brought Mini to Motorwerks because she had an oil leak. Tucker Masui explained the evaluation process and the cost of diagnosing the necessary repairs. He arranged transportation for me. He later called to explain the repairs needed. Tucker also informed me of the cost to do the repairs. He was compassionate and empathetic when I expressed my financial situation. Throughout the repair, he contacted me to let me know how things were going and explained what was happening with Mini. Due to his actions, I felt confident my repairs were necessary, the cost was reasonable, and the repair would be done well.

A nasty repair that almost floored me, was handled with the best grace and compasion I have ever seen. Brought the car in with one known problem and several other observations to check out. Was given a loaner car and Tucker. As the week passed by, I was very happy with both. Bigger problems were identified and fixed, all under warrantee. And Tucker was particularly patient, knowledgeable, and helpful all the way through.

Clayton was and continues to be one of the best most professional sales people I have ever worked for. I was a very demanding customer (as I am in sales myself) and didn't want to waste my time with a lot of details. He was great with emailing and calling me instead of insisting that I sit and waste time at the dealership. When he was able to find exactly what I was looking for in my Mini Countryman (which was very particular) he worked hard to make sure it was at the dealer in the time frame I requested. The day of final paperwork I had expressed my need for that process to be handled quickly and it was done perfectly! He even programmed my iphone into my new car for me! I have had many wonderful follow up calls from him over the past few months and he has even scheduled a service appt for me. Clayton takes his job seriously and creates a concierge approach for the customer. My next car will be purchased with Clayton.

I have called him on questions about the vehicle behavior in general to how to get my tire pressure corrected. I have never dealt with a salesperson as knowledgeable and personable as Charlie. After my purchase, there were numerous occasions I had questions about something. I e-mailed him and always received not only a quick response but one which answered my questions. The followup done by your dealership is second to none and the marketing tools are awesome. I will make one more vehicle purchase probably in my lifetime due to the limited number of miles driven per year. If that purchase necessitates trading in my Mini, I had inquired of Charlie if there would be a way he could accommodate my purchase even though it wouldn't be a brand sold by Motorwerks. He responded positively. He will be the first person I go to when the time comes. Selling vehicles is like eating out; if you get quality food and great service, you'll return. Motorwerks has both and will definitely get "my retun."

As a purchase, this is a good example of how it should be handled. The closing was neat and reasonably quick. Options were offered and explained, not 'sold' in a relaxed atmosphere. I recommend both the dealership and Mr. Wyffels to anyone considering a vehicle anything like a Mini. This car is stupendous. While room for improvement is always possible, this car is bordering on perfect given current technology.

We came in the late part of the afternoon wanting to test drive the Mini Cooper Countryman. Kathryn was happy to go around the area with us. Afterwards, me and my wife were pretty much convinced that this particular Mini was what we were looking for (we had a couple other vehicles in mind). Todd Caddle presented our options for financing and various other options to think about. While we waiting for the Financing department to become avaible for us (it was a busy day), Kate showed us around the facility to us and where the service garage was. After going through the paper work with Financing, Kate showed us the features of our car and then we were off in our new ride sometime after 9pm. Even though we were there for several hours, it didn't matter to us, but I appreciate all the staff staying so late to take care of us.

I dropped my car off for an oil change and a check engine light. I wasn't called that day as promised, so I showed up to get a loaner car. When I got home I was called by the adviser to let me know they found the oil leak I brought it in for. The thing is, I didn't bring it in for an oil leak, nor does my car leak oil. I was told there was a crushed oil pan and the repair would be over $1,200. I called the dealership the next morning to let them know Id be coming to inspect the so-called damage, and they told me that now only the oil pan needed to be fixed for $750. Upon showing up back at the dealership the next morning and inspecting it, I found that there was NOT a crushed oil pan, and they conveniently replaced some of the other parts under 'warranty'. I was blatantly lied to about the oil pan, more than likely to take advantage of me by replacing something that did NOT need to be replaced. After I called out the adviser on the lie, he and the tech backpedaled about the repair and told me now that it wasn't necessary. Service is included with my lease, but I will NOT be purchasing or servicing again at this dealership. EVER. I understand up selling, and finding other things wrong with the vehicle, but telling the customer a downright lie is not appreciated.

I informed him one time that I was having issues with the additional rubber floor mats I purchased over the phone from Motorwerks parts department because they the ones they sent were for a different model. Clayton was terrific to work with on my new Mini Cooper. He listened to my "wants list" in a new car and then showed me the options that would provide satisfaction. After I decided on the car I wanted, Clayton worked with the service department to alter the car and to ensure that I received it "when I wanted" to pick up the car. In other words, my car shopping experience was about getting the customer first before any sale of a car. Took my car in for a service recall on at the AUX water pump under the turbo and ended up driving my car less then 20 miles and a hole was in the BACK of my radiator. The pump is directly behind the radiator but yet the dealer did not take responsibility for it and I was told that this service had nothing to do with the radiator. To note: This put me a day behind going home (Dealer is 5 1/2 hours away.)

I have owned a mini cooper for a year now and each time I've taken it in for service they have gone above and beyond to make sure I'm happy with the car. It is always returned clean and nice as new.
