Richard Rocha was the most professional car sales rep I ever dealt with and I have bought about 30 cars along the way. Richard didn't push his opinions on me but found ways to make sure I got the car that I would be happiest with over the coming years. I purposely went 30 minutes out of my way from where I live, just because I read a couple of good reviews of this specific service department and I really wanted someone who would make me feel like my car is being taken care of. I had to get two recalls fixed on my Honda, and I also asked them to do a multi-point inspection. They took care of me from start to finish, made me feel extremely comfortable, and gave me great, truthful information on my car. Everyone I spoke with was incredibly kind. I'm so glad I drove 30 minutes out of my way for them! Highly recommended.

When I visit, the explanation of what is needed is understandable and concise. Options are outlined to explain if something is paramount to be done now, or can wait a bit. Although I love a new car, the process of going to the dealership and getting the sales pitch is not my favorite thing and typically is why I put it off. Yesterday I found the experience to be more than bearable, it was actually enjoyable. Bill Steed greeted me in the parking lot and never once "put on the pressure" to buy. I actually felt like he was listening and not giving me scripted answers. He was engaged with me and what I was looking for and genuinely seemed to care about fitting me with the right car.

I found Trickett Honda through a recommendation of an executive at my company. From the initial internet inquiry, to the final sale, I received more than I expected at each step. Our sales coordinator, Sharon Cooper, was prompt and responsive, without over-selling. She negotiated fairly, coordinated a lower financing rate than the already competitive AAA rate we were planning to use, and gave us more than we expected for for on our trade-in. She even removed and switched our plates for us personally. Financing was low pressure, with no last minute surprises. In over 30 years of buying, this was my most pleasant car purchasing experience by far. I will be recommending Trickett to others for sure.

Trickett was upfront and honest from the beginning. I recommend anyone buying a new Honda check with Sharon Cooper. I shopped 4 Honda dealers in Middle Tennessee. Trickett was the only dealer to give their best price and best trade offer right off the bat. They did not make insulting offers or try and play typical dealer games. Also they do not include a high doc fees or other high price add ons. Sharon was friendly and made the process smooth, finding exactly what I wanted at the best price in the Nashville area.

I had the best experience there I believe I have ever had in buying a car. I was not looking forward to the whole "car salesman" experience at all. I am so thankful I did not get what I had been dreading for months. Instead, everyone was laid back, no high pressured bull, just helpful and respectful genuine professionals. They all did their jobs with such effortless courteous professionalism. I will never buy another car any where else, ever. I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone I care about. Went to Trickett Honda to buy another Honda CRV, this is the dealer I buy from because there is no pressure from the staff, went inside was greeted by Ted Olmstead and I told him I was looking for a new CRV. I told him what options I wanted no more no less. The second one he showed I knew was the one I wanted before we even got to it, the color was perfect. I worked in sales at a Honda dealership in New York for three years, but have relocated to Tennessee since, so when it was time for me to shop for a new vehicle I was expecting to get the typical hard-sell car shopping experience. I did not get that at Trickett, however. I sent an email to several dealerships letting them know exactly what I was looking for, and Sharon got back to me almost immediately. I wanted to buy from Trickett because Trickett donates to Sumner Spay Neuter Alliance, a local animal charity. Robbie Payne was my salesperson and was such a nice guy. He's definitely not your regular car salesperson. I would highly recommend Trickett over other Honda dealers in the area (I tried Crest and Darrell Waltrip and Trickett was a MUCH better experience). The only con was the finance person's scare tactics on selling the extended warranties, but I guess that's to be expected.

Trickett Honda represents corporately that the customer is welcome and considered a long term business partner. Every employee we encountered communicated a positive view and satisfaction of their work enviornment. No one collared us when we stepped in the door, but made themselves available. A non sales service employee walking by answered a question and promptly took us back into the back garage to show us the only car on the property of a brand new model.When we returned to the dealer and asked for a salesman we were politely listened to and immediately informed that there was a special on the model we were interested in, which we were unaware of, and we were told the dollar amount that it was below msrp. We were also told in that initial sentence how much the processing fee was. Which we knew to be $100. less than the competition.Our sales representative Wayne was honest, straight foreward, and efficient. We appreciated his positive demeanor, his knowledge, and helpfulness.The finance department was efficient and prompt. Our experience at Trickett exceeded our expectations many times over. Honest, effecient, fair, and polite. And when the car was driven up for me to get in the radio was softly tuned to my music preference. Never having purchased a car there before, we were very surprised and satisfied.However, previously having our kids two civics serviced there we anticipate continued excellent service.

Bill was the service advisor that I talked to about my navi system screen going blank. He had the tech check it out and found to be defective, the part was ordered and in a week it arrived. My experience couldn't have been better. I had been looking at C-RV's on line for some time and finally decided to start looking in person. I made an appointment with Ken Fuller and felt like I was his only customer from the time I walked in the door. I never felt pressured, he answered every question, and truly listened to everything I said I wanted in a car. I went home to think about it overnight and returned the next day to buy the one I wanted. Everyone I dealt with was professional and kind. I've bought many new cars. I believe my wife and I have averaged one new car every two years over the 30 years we've been married. We've worked with at least 10 dealerships. Trickett Honda is by far my favorite dealership. They quoted me a fair price by email, thousands less than other dealers. My salesperson had the exact car cleaned and ready to test drive when my wife and I arrived. She thoroughly explained every option and then we had a relaxed test drive. They worked hard to get me the best deal in financing. I am very pleased and would recommend this dealership to anybody.

I bought an Accord from Rich Rocha 5 years ago. When I received the title from Honda Finance I went to look for a new Accord. Rich came out to greet me and remembered who I was after 5 years. I thought that was impressive. I told him my financial parameters and 30 minutes later he gave me my price which actually was less than I was paying for my previous car. They found my car at another dealer and it was delivered. I went in and 45 minutes later I was driving off the lot with a beautiful 2015 Honda Accord. Like the headline says, it was eazy peezy!! It was a very hassle and fast transaction. I got an online quote one day, which was $2500 below the quote I got on the same car from another dealership, got preapproved, and the next day went to the dealership for a test drive. I ended up upgrading from a Civic LS to the SE since it was about what I had planned on spending anyway. I was back out the door with a new car in 2 hours from the time I first stepped in. No hard sell negotiations on anything. They quoted a fair price off the bat and didn't try to pressure me into additional things I didn't want or need. It was the easiest car deal I have ever had and I have done plenty in the last 40 years.

Within 5 mintues, Sharon called me and let me know that she had the car I was interested in. They sent someone to pick me up the next morning, I had a delightful test drive with Sharon who answered all my questions. We got back to the office, she got me a price that was even LOWER than what the car buying service said I should pay. Because I already had financing, checking out with Larry was a complete breeze. I received a recall notice so called the closest Honda dealer - Trickett. Although I initially had a little trouble getting service scheduled when I spoke with a temporary employee who answered the phone, Byron Hill gave me a return call and made sure I was completely satisfied and helped me get the recall scheduled as soon as he was able to. Customer service usually flows from the top down, so based on their manager's actions, I would recommend this service department to others.

Sid Bandy was professional and personable! As a single female, buying can be trying...but Trickett treated me like they would their own daughter, wife or Mom. He listened to what I wanted and did not try to sell me something I didn't. He worked with me to educate me on models and answer questions I had. We went to pick up our brand new Civic two nights ago to find out that the battery was dead. The dealer changed out the battery. After an inordinately long wait, we were informed that the warning lights were on and could not be reset until tomorrow morning. We went home in a loaner and got the car the next day. The salesman was the only good thing about our experience. He was very honest and truly cared. Thank you Ron Barrett for delivering our car the next day! We appreciate you but found the rest of our experience unacceptable. Here we sit 48 hours later and still have not heard from the service manager. Unless we do hear from him, we do not feel comfortable referring friends to the dealership.

I was looking for a vehicle which could give more miles per gallon, has a history for good reliability and a dealership that didn't confuse me with double talk and take advantage of me when I went into a daze from too much information. Bryan Pirtle listened to my wants and needs, then told me what they had that could fit most if not all of my needs. We then looked at the selections and narrowed them down to my closest fit. When it came time to negotiate terms, Bryan explained what all of the numbers meant. He didn't press to close nor did we really haggle over much. When I get a good deal and I know it , I try not to ruin it by trying to make it better for me. I feel both parties were winners and when it comes time to upgrade my transportation again, I will consider Bryan and Trickett Honda first.

In short, the dealership 'walks the walk' that they speak.The salesman, Sid Bandy and sales manger, Jerry Gregory and I were both prepared, and he they listened, negotiating professionally, later following up personally with an issue, driving to my nearby home to charge a stubborn battery and drive the auto to the service department, providing a temporary loaner. I've had 100% satisfaction with Trickett Honda service for over 15 years, prompting me to look to them first when shopping for a used replacement.My congratulations to Reed Trickett for building and training the staff to make the dealership a strong foundation of the community.

I did not look forward to buying another car because I do not like high pressure sales tactics.. It took me almost a year to decide to buy a new car. During this time the staff at Trickett Honda were very patient and helpful to me. They did not try to pressure me into a quick, decision so that they could earn a commission. They patiently gave me the information and time I needed to make my decision. When I finally decided on the car I wanted, they quickly located one and got it here. Bryan Pirtle did an excellent job of showing me all the features of my car and how to use them. All in all, this was a wonderful experience. It is the way car-buying should be. I look forward to being their customer for many more years.

We bought our last car eight years ago. We were hesitant about entering the car purchase arena again. We have seen Trickett Honda on TV for years and decided to test drive a CRV 75 miles from home. We met Bryan Pirtle on a sunny afternoon. Throughout the car purchase experience he was professional , courteous, friendly and helpful in choosing the right trim and color. Sid helped me with my first brand new car purchase. It was a wonderful experience. I really feel like it was my dad helping me by a car more than a salesman... I'm young and Sid really took time to explain things to me and I really feel like he got me the best deal for me! I went to Trickett looking for a used car as a Valentine's Day Present from my husband and walked out with a brand new Honda Civic right off the showroom floor! Still to this day even though it's weeks later when I call Sid knows exactualy who I am by first name and helps me with whatever I need even if he has to resource other people. Awesome gentleman!

This is not a first our Trickett new car purchase and it certainly won't be our last. As always I received quick, courteous and low pressure service. I submitted a internet inquiry at lunch time for a new Accord. (I did this with 3 dealers and Trickett had the best price.) I test drove the car after work and I was on my way home with a new car shortly after. A very quick and easy process. In addition, everyone was so friendly from start to finish.

Mark our sales rep did a great job understanding what we were looking for and quickly took us through all the suitable options. He was tremendously knowledgeable on every aspect and option of each car we looked at. He was able to relate well to what the car would be used for (business travel mostly) and did a great job explaining things we may have overlooked but now realize are nice options. The price was competitive and they worked very well with me during our negotation process. Getting the paperwork done quickly, giving the car an extra cleaning and topping off the tank were all nice extras that made a good experience even better

Spoke with the Internet Rep. Sharon Cooper. She was very nice and accommodating. She obtained approval from one of her managers to sell me the Honda Pilot with a stated trade in allowance. I had scheduled to pick it up on January 16, 2015 and I received a call from Sharon stating the Used Car Manager would not honor the original agreed to trade in allowance. The difference was $ 500. Had the deal been made they would have had a customer for life.

First of, Zach was great. We used a car buying service and he was easy to work with from start to finish. He was very friendly, and didn't mind the very long test drive we took him on. Purchasing the car was easy, and we thought very highly of the whole purchase. Until about a week after we bought the car. Then we got a phone call that we were given the wrong finance form to fill out. They mailed us one, and we filed it out and sent it back in. Then we get a phone call that they never got it- the form with our finance information on it. So we drove the 40 minutes to fill it out in person. Then we discover our second car key was never programmed. Again another 40 drive up there, and a wait in their service center. Just a little frustrating considering the time we had to take out of work to drive up there. Otherwise a great car, and a great buying experience. Just everything after that has not been great.

Zach Tooley took care of us and answered all our questions. I saw a car we liked on the dealers web site and contacted him by email. After some questions and answers about the car, we went in for a test drive. Before the test drive, I saw another model that was a step up and decided to go with that. My wife was on the fence, but said OK. After the first day of driving it, she said she loved everything about it. I knew she would after getting behind the wheel for a bit. Everyone there made us feel at home and obviously did everything to make our car buying experience very easy. I would recommend Trickett Honda to anyone who is shopping for a car.

After visiting another dealership and walking away from a disastrous deal I decided to search online for a car. It took all of 15 minutes to find exactly what I was looking for at the very price I could afford. In the instant message I explained my situation and my high anxiety level about walking onto another lot, he was so kind and let me know he was not going to pressure me. I decided to test drive the car and when I arrived he met me on the lot with the car ready to go. It was so much better than I anticipated, he had my old car appraised at more than I could have sold it for myself! Including the time in financing I spent less than an hour total buying a car! I did not walk away feeling "sold to" I felt like he cared that I was happy with my choice. This was such a blessing and Zach and Trickett have a customer for life!! If you're going to buy a car at Trickett Honda, go see Zach Tooley. He's a zero pressure salesman and is very informative. I had a very good experience there. There was only one hicup with the pricing of some paint protection but he ended up fixing it and not even charging me. They had to drive to Memphis to get the car and didn't charge me for that either. Overall an excellent experience. He even hand washed and detailed my new car himself due to other detail staff being busy. Go see Zach!

I just bought a new Honda Civic Sedan on Thursday, September 25, 2014. Zach was very attentive, he explained things thoroughly and worked with me though this whole experience. This was the first time I bought a car on my own and Zach and all of the gentlemen, Dan Burkpile, who approved my offer, and the finance gentleman who worked hard on the financing and worked with me in getting this car made it a very pleasant experience.If I had any complaints, it would be when I was signing the paperwork with a gentleman, I am sorry I forgot his name, there was a little too much "playing on fears of something happening" when trying to sell me the additional warrantees for like the dings and the like. That approach actually made me less willing to buy it. Finally, it would be nice if Honda would finance under $5,000. I would have only had to finance $3500 if it weren't for this policy. I am now paying an interest amount on a total of $5,000 rather than $3500, and I don't believe that is fair, when I had the money for everything but $3500. So now I am paying extra because Honda is making me finance $5000.Outside of this, my experience with Trickett Honda was wonderful due to Zach and his hard work.

He was so impressed with Bill's non-pushy attitude and personality that we returned later in the day and purchased an Accord Sport! We are thrilled with it! I feel Ron went out of his way to make our Honda Fit purchase very unstressed and relaxing experience. We made our 1st visit just to checkout the Honda line since we never had owned a Honda before and previously driven Nissans for years. The 2nd visit was an attempt to test drive but this didn't happen because all the fits arrived were dealer cars that were shipped in for another dealership. Ron and the management team were very concerned about the mix up and very apologetic. They did contact me and my wife for a 3rd visit and we got to test drive the fit with Bill Steed.No deal was reached due to pricing but we were not pressured which meant a lot to me and my wife.Ron called us back and we discussed about another meeting which happened after I had several discussions over phone about several issues ranging from financing ,other vehicles and prices.Ron was very professional and courteous until the end and very good to work with from consumer stand point. We bought our car for all the reasons above.

Just bought an accord from Bryan Pirtle at Trickett Honda. Bryan was very friendly, helpful and didn't pressure us to make a quick purchase. I shopped around by getting a few internet quotes, and then went in to test drive and talk to sales reps. My shopping experience with Bryan over the internet and in person was by far the best compared to the other dealers in town. It's the bottom line price that really counts though, and Trickett beat the competition in that category as well.

I have been internet shopping for several months, comparing several brands of cars and their prices. I finally narrowed it down to the Accord. After getting several internet quotes the Trickett price was the best. I made an appointment with Sharon Cooper, she was very friendly and knowledgeable about the car. We had to make a couple of appointments to make the final decision but Sharon was patient and helpful through the whole process.I was pleased with the negotiation process and the final price we paid for the car. Richard Rocha was excellent. She let my wife test drive several vehicles to see which one was best and which one that she would be more comfortable with. He answered all of our questions and went above and beyond the call of the job. This is our second vehicle that we have purchased there and both times, Richard was terrific. The first one that I purchased in 2009 in Bowling Green, I was pushed into the vehicle and pressured into purchasing that one. Richard didn't pressure us into the car and let us make the decision. Our purchase was our second with Robbie Payne. It was so nice to go back to a dealership 7 years later and be able to work with the same salesman. (Our son has also bought a vehicle from Robbie.) The experience was stress free and Robbie went above and beyond to make sure the vehicle we purchased was EXACTLY what we wanted. . . . he didn't try to talk us into buying a more expensive vehicle or something that put us into a payment larger than we wanted. It's rare now days to visit a car dealer and not be bombarded by car salesmen trying to sell you anything just to make a sale. I contacted Trickett Honda by email to ask for a quote on a new 2014 Honda Accord Sport that I had seen online. I received the information that I asked for from Sharon Cooper. She replied with a friendly, short note with the price on the particular car and other information about their dealership. I emailed and talked to Sharon by phone for a couple of weeks before I decided to drive to the dealership to see the car in person. During those two weeks I was never bothered or harassed by phone calls or rushed from anyone at Trickett...what a relief! She gave me all the time I needed to make up my mind as to which car, what color and options, etc. I called Sharon and made an appointment to see the vehicle I had decided on and when I got there Sharon had had the car cleaned up and waiting for me to test drive in the new car delivery area. How nice of her to do that for me! It made me feel like a valued customer before I even signed the paperwork.

After visiting hondacrest and hondawaltrip I was pretty bummed out as I could not lease the honda accord I wanted for my budgeted price as they were not willing to budge much. I contacted trickett honda and Bill Steed answered my call and was extremely polite and welcoming. I agreed to visit this dealership and sat with Bill to discuss the price range I was working with. Bill was not pushy or aggressive however was extremely honest, helpful and informational. We had great conversations as he was very personable. He took my budgeted price spoke with finance, came back and he was able to keep the price within my range without having to involve management or needless haggling. I was able to get the car I wanted for the price I could afford. This has been the best dealer experience I have ever had. We researched the stuffings out of the Toyota Rav4, Nissan Rogue and Honda CRV. When we decided on the CRV, we went to Robbie because he was our agent for two other Hondas in our family. He's patient, genuine and pretended not to notice when I got emotional about letting go of the Honda we traded. Robbie doesn't really sell cars he arranges the transaction. He didn't give a sales pitch, he gave us information and he was eager to give us what we wanted. Honda is a great product and we think we got a good deal. After a few calls back and forth we had decided this was the right vehicle for us. They were kind enough to hold the vehicle a few days until we could come view it and make a final decision. We were not rushed and all of our concerns and questions were answered and addressed.We received a better price compared to other like vehicles in the area from other dealerships and national vehicle chains.We worked with Mark Fulton and he was always prompt on returning phone calls and made sure all of our needs were met. I received a couple of follow up calls after we made our purchase checking in to make sure were satisfied. The sales manager also took time to work with us and get to know us. My husband and I purchased a 2013 honda civic lx from Trickett Honda in February 2014. Trickett was the first place we visited in searching for a car. Bill Steed showed us the car and was very knowledgable about the vehicle. We were just looking around for cars to get an idea of what we wanted. Bill was never pushy about selling the car, he was very respectful and informative. After that we went to browse toyotas at the new and used toyota dealership and left almost immediately because even though we explained we would not be purchasing a vehicle that day and that we were just trying to browse cars, they were harassing about buying a car that day. So we turned away and immediately knew we wanted to purchase a Honda. We looked at several honda dealerships and were on our way to Memphis at a dealership that was going to accept our price when we got a call from Bill saying they'll take our price. We were an hour and a half away and turned around, went home to grab some paper work (to which no other dealership said we needed, so thankfully they did :)) and drove immediately to Trickett right before they closed, signed the papers and bought the car. Bill stayed hours after he was supposed to be off to accommodate us. He also showed us how to use the vehicle and all its features. In the past I dealt with dealerships (Rivergate Mazda which is now closed and I believe Rivergate Nissan or Toyota) and had awful experiences and even bought a car that I ended up not really wanting because I was pressured so badly by the salesman. I wish I would have known about the amazing customer service at Trickett back then. I am paying the EXACT same amount monthly for a brand new honda that I did for a 2004 mazda with 84,000 miles on it that I bought back in 2008. Im also receiving WAY BETTER customer service with Trickett than I did the other dealerships. I can trust Trickett.I can 100% say that I recommend Trickett Honda. There is absolutely no pressure or harassing about buying a car. After we purchased the vehicle Bill emailed and called to make sure we were still satisfied with our purchase. The other dealerships could care less. Again, our dealer was BILL STEED and glad we purchased through him!

I knew the 2013 Honda Fit was the car I wanted. I called the dealership and spoke with Bill Steed, who answered a few of my questions. The next day I went in to see the cars and take a test drive. Bill was easy to work with and knowledgeable about the car. I had a reasonable price in mind for my trade and price of the Fit. We were able to quickly reach a deal. Financing was quick and easy, with excellent rates. I left about an hour later in my new car.I had two small issues the next day. The low tire indicator came on. I checked, and all four tires were low; they had not been checked prior to delivery. Also, the plastic cover for the battery terminal had been broken in half.Overall, it was a positive experience, and I would recommend Trickett Honda, and salesman Bill Steed.

We began our car search a few months back. Upon entering Trickett Honda for our first time, we were happily greeted by Mr. Steed. Mr. Steed immediately showed us the cars on the lot that we were interested in and allowed us to test drive one. After discussing the options we had seen, we told Mr. Steed that we were still going to look around at what the other dealerships around had to offer. He thanked us for our time and politely took some of our information.After deciding that a Honda was our best option, we decided to give Mr. Steed a call. He met with us the next day, and once again gave us an extremely thorough description of the cars on the lot that met our criteria. Moreover, he provided many options he could carry out if they didn't have a car that met all of our desires. After test driving yet another car, we sat down to begin negotiations. Throughout the negotiations, Mr. Steed was extremely friendly and worked to ensure a deal could be made. After making multiple trips to his manager's office, we were offered an excellent deal by Mr. Steed and Trickett Honda.The customer service provided by Mr. Steed and Trickett Honda doesn't stop after the purchase. After we were called a few days later to sign some papers, Mr. Steed greeted us at the door, asking if we had any concerns about the car we had purchased. Trickett Honda, and specifically Mr. Steed, were extremely helpful throughout the process, and therefore, provide some of the best customer service in Middle Tennessee.

When doing the research, I found that Trickett was offering to sell the exact vehicle I wanted for less than any other dealer in the Middle Tennessee area. Unlike other dealers that I have heard about, once at the dealership, the arrangements for purchase remained consistent with what had been discussed via email. No Surprises or "extra fees"! My husband and I came in to look at the CRV and the Accord. We were immediately greeted by a man who introduced himself as Bill Steed. It was in the single digits outside so he took up into the showroom and started with the CRV. He went into a VERY detailed demonstration and we were immediately blow away by not only the vehicle but Bill himself. We have bought a lot of cars over the years and its almost always a pain. You feel like most car salesmen dont have a clue about the cars they are selling and are flat out just trying to make a sale no matter what. We never got that feeling working with Bill. He then let us test drive the CRV and went through yet again a very detailed demonstration and had all kinds of neat things to show/tell us about the vehicle. We were pretty much sold but decided to take a look at the Accord just incase! We ended up deciding to try for financing on the Accord. Again, Bill was super attentive and detailed with the entire process. We were trading in a much older car and he worked with us to get the most possible out of it. In between waiting for answers from the finance department he talked to us about his life in general and pets (we are big animal lovers) We felt like he was so down to earth, laid back and just a straight up nice guy. We werent approved through Honda, but were approved through another company. When we met with the finance department and learned our payment would be right at $500 a mth we were less than thrilled. Bill sat and talked with us and gave us options on different used vehicles that would fit in our budget. In the end we wanted the new Accord with all the bells and whistles. Bill was able to get our payment down to $475 a mth and we took it! This was our first experience with Honda and Bill Steed. We will be lifelong customers! We love our new car! We love that we came back today at Bills request and he sat in our car with us and showed us ALL the features on our car and then set up our phones, radio etc!!! Seriously, amazing customer service! (**After driving our new car to my parents house we learned that the Accord they bought two years ago came from Bill as well! They had only rave reviews about him too!) I would like to end this review by saying: My husband and I own our own business and we rely on reviews from our clients. We take them very seriously and know how important they are. I had to reschedule my service visit three times, which is unusual and I felt bad about it. However, each time I called HONDA Service, the service center employee was kind and helpful. When I finally had the service visit yesterday (1/23/2014), I requested that it be as quick as possible since I had a new puppy at home. I was in-and-out within 35 minutes! During the visit, Bubba offered suggestions for improving my vehicle experience and, when I said I did not wish to purchase a Hepa filter at this time, he was nice about it and did not make me feel pressured. The lady at the check-out desk was very friendly and kind also.My latest vehicle purchase in July 2013 was a positive experience largely due to the salesperson, Bryan Pirtle. I had very specific requirements for my car. As most people, I required low price, low payments, and high quality. I needed a quality, economical car to get me to work and home and be adjustable to my family and children (car seats). I didn't need anything flashy, just dependable. I had a budget limit for down payment and monthly payment but had the financial stability to support my requirements. I went to many dealers in one day before coming to Sid. First KIA due to commercials about low prices and low payments. They started shadowing me like a stray dog before I even got out of the car. The first thing they wanted me to do was fill out paperwork before even letting me look at inventory even after telling them I was just looking. They completely gave me the run around about what I was looking for, even after explaining WHAT I was looking for. They did not listen to my requirements and attempted first to sell me high priced vehicles with high payments. When I explained I couldn't do that, they treated me like I wasn't interested in even buying a car, and treated me like I flat out couldn't pay for one or afford one. They didn't even show me anything within the prices I was looking for. I then decided to go to used car dealers after such a bad experience looking for a place where lower prices were more practical. I went down Gallatin Rd one dealer after another looking for the car in my price with the quality I required. No one had the quality I was looking for in my price range. I was skeptical about entering Trickett as I expected them to start high balling me right away. Before even browsing inventory, I first wanted to make sure that the price range I was looking for was even available at this location as it was a new car dealership, not a mom and pop used cars. The first thing Sid asked was "what are you looking for", which none of the other dealerships I visited seemed to be interested in. I explained my requirements without him trying to tell me about brand new vehicles with outrageous prices. He then established my financial requirements without blasting me with $500 monthly payments or $10,000 down payment requirements. He took me for word value for what my price ranges were without acting skeptical of my worth or financial capabilities (or just treating me like I was too poor to afford a car). After listening to my requirements, he explained to me that most of what was offered at this dealership was outside of my requirement parameters, but did list the small inventory that did fit my parameters (the only car that did, really). The car he showed me was everything I explained that I needed, good quality with low mileage, nothing flashy or extravagant, family friendly, economical, and reasonably low in price. I wasn't offered any sports cars, nor wrecked vehicles, nor 2014 off the assembly line latest and greatest (which I wouldn't be able to afford). He explained what would be required of me to fit the low payment plan I was looking for without treating me like I was poor or couldn't afford to own a car. He ran numbers on the price ranges, and down payment requirements I needed without asking me to register or sign me up for a credit check before I even decided on a car, and gave me reasonable numbers that made me want to proceed with dealing with him. He didn't ask questions like, "how much money do you have?", like a crook just looking to get my money in his pocket. It was very clear that he was trying to get me what I wanted, not just get me to sign checks. The car was great quality, not the junk pile next to the garbage dumpster that most dealers would offer after hearing the word "low prices". He allowed me to comfortably establish that what he was offering was what I was looking for, not trying to dazzle me with fancy car options or special features, or distract me from undesirable traits of the car in question. He focused on items I asked questions about without throwing sales pitches at me that were not within the requirements I was looking for. He answered the questions I asked honestly and directly without rewording things to sound good or avoiding saying things I didn't want to hear. He allowed me to inspect the car in my timing without breathing down my neck with sales pitches. He gave me the time I wanted to become familiar with the vehicle without trying to rush me or act like he had more important things to do than make sure I was comfortable with my decisions. He allowed me take time to think about my decision without rushing me into paperwork or credit checks. Then finally he allowed me to decide that I wanted to make the deal instead of telling me what I needed to do or use phrases like "your best bet is to" or "you have to" or "well, do we have a deal?" The dealer, the car, the payments, the financing, and the transaction were everything I wanted and needed. I want to make it clear that this man helped me to take care of my career, my family, my financial stability, my self esteem (knowing that this deal was all around the perfect deal), and prevented me from many bad situations that could have literally ruined my life by not finding what I needed on such an important aspect of life (as a dependable car is the backbone of middle or lower classed America). I hope this review is emphasized to Sid, his superiors, Honda themselves, and the persons running this review site. I consider my transaction with Sid Bandy to the be best dealing and professional experience I have ever had!

We had been looking for a new car for about a year, and had visit her three or four times previously. She kept in touch via email which was good. I have purchased many vehicles from Trickett over the years. I have always been treated great and felt they have always been fair and honest in the dealings we have had. Robbie Payne is great and very honest and caring. I would recommend him to anyone that is in the market to buy a new or used car. I have never had a bad experience with them.

Trickett Honda lives up to its excellent reputation. The pricing was very competitive. The staff were excellent, very personable, and helpful. I highly recommend this dealership.

Ok....Here we go....I am a huge HONDA fan and have bought several cars in Nashville from all the Honda dealers in town...Been to and bought from "'old DW" and found out after the sale it did not matter that I spent my money with them...Went to Cre*t and at the dealership no service after the sale...Car had 3 recalls pertaining to windows and they did the recall work as it was an interruption to their day.The work was sloppy and they would not correct it.Now I decided to go to Trickett Honda (even if it was in Madison and a good 50 min drive for me) was met at the front door by Richard W. and I tell you what....I have been treated like family from that day forward. You will NOT be pressured into buying something that you are not comfortable with and they will work with you on any issue you may have.If you are interested in meeting a REAL and honest car dealership I highly recommend that you at least check out Trickett and see for yourself...If you are not happy go elsewhere at least you tried.Don't forget to look for Louis!!!

Brian's had good customer service over the phone, wasn't able to make a contingent deal over the phone like I have been able to with other Honda dealers but I understand they want to see the car we were trading in. So while on our way home from vacation we stopped at the dealership(about an hour out of the way). This is where everything went completely wrong. John Kennedy helped us because Brian was attending to another customer(not an issue), and he obviously didn't want to sell the car to us. Before we even began negotiating trade in and price of the new car he was making excuses why we should by from our home town. When I finally said I wanted to make an offer, I was in the building for maybe 2 minutes I made an offer that other dealers were willing to accept but they did not have the car we wanted on the lot. John looked at a sheet and just said he couldn't do it, didn't run it by his sales manager or make a counter offer. I will never by a Honda from them and I have already told my friends that live in the nashville area to go somewhere else. I will also be calling Honda to let them know directly of this experience

I have purchased two vehicles from this dealership and each time I am very happy with the service, follow up, and genuine behavior of sales staff and other personnel. I would drive back to TN from WI to purchase from this dealer if they had the car I wanted.
