This was first maintenance schedule for my Mercedes. They truly know the meaning of "service" . Appointment was kept on time, finished in a bit less than time frame quoted and it included a full service wash/clean of my auto inside and out. While this service was being provided I had a great workout session in their gym! I'm impressed with their service and caring.

Some miscommunication with salesperson led to sales manager trying to strong arm me but it worked out in the end also Ashley in service did a 10 in handling a tough "totaled" insurance claim Her and lynette were 10s Salesperson an 8.5 and sales manager a 3 (don't know his name) Finance manager (Matt)did a fine job also

I was on a trip to Myrtle Beach when I stopped to buy groceries prior to meeting family. My Mercedes would not start due to a dead battery and a very nice person jumped my S550. I was going to drive to the resort and deal with the issue the following morning when I passed Myrtle Beach Automotive and their Mercedes Dealership. I arrived in a rain storm, entered the Service Bay and dropped to my knees smiling, hands clasped together asking for a new battery installation at 4:55pm. The service manager, Mark Marlowe laughed, kept a tech on standby and took my S550 into the service bay. Forty Five minuets later, diagnostics had been performed and the battery installed. Mark opened my car door and he thanked me for the business and walked back into the service bay. After about 30 seconds, I reentered the service bay and told him the car would not start (It started perfectly) He about fell out of his chair and I started to laugh and told him the car was running just fine...... Last laugh on a great Service Manager. Great experience!

If you need to leave your car a loaner will be provided for you to use, and call you when your car is ready.Customer service is one of the best. Call make appointment they make sure the time is agreeable with your schedule, and E-Mail you again with your appointment (Date and time) and call you the day before to remind you of your appointment or if you would like to change it to another time. When you pull in they are waiting for you and your Automobile is taken back at once.When I bought my Mercedes we agree on a price, they will work hard to make it happen and you are satisfied with your deal.I like the Mercedes 550 series (What a Automobile) but you would like any series Mercedes puts out.You will not find a better dealership to get your Automobile worked on (Repair service is excellent).The Facility is immaculate . Myrtle Beach Mercedes makes sure you are Comfortable if you wait in there lounge for your Automobile.GIVE THEM A TRY-------YOU WANT BE SORRY

Art Coppola inspected performed a pre-purchase inspection on a 1999 SL prior to purchasing the car from a private seller. The analysis of the car and anticipated costs was exceptionally thorough and very well documented. We plan to use this dealership to service the car in the future. In addition to the inspection and technical advice MB Automotive washed and vacuumed the car and it looked great.I have owned many Mercedes and dealt with different MB shops as well as others and I rate MB Automotive as one of the better ones. The staff on the phone and in the service area were cordial and efficient throughout the process.

The only confusion was in scheduling time allowed for service.We were unable to borrow a car, but shuttle service was perfect.We were first told one hour, then 3 hours, then it ended up being one hour after all.This is our second service at this dealer, very clean.Appreciate the car wash service.Will definitely return.Would buy from them when time comes if they had the right vehicle.

I had to bring my car, a 2014 X3, in due to a recall involving a modification necessary for safely securing a child seat in the car. Dave Spang, their very excellent service advisor, also scheduled some maintenance work (microfilter, oil change, brake fluid, vehicle check) that was covered by the 4 year complimentary maintenance perk that BMW offers on new vehicles. I was given a 2017 X3 as a loaner in that my vehicle had to be sent to a body shop for the recall work to be performed. I have never been disappointed in any manner by the service people at this facility and am pleased to report that this experience was no exception.

This dealership went above and beyond to make the buying process exceptional. My salesman, Dan, provided a no-pressure sales experience. The facility was state-of-the-art and offered a very comfortable atmosphere. The finance department went over my options for warranties and led me to the best fit for my use of the car, which is traveling for business. Although the car was used, it was exceptionally clean and very well taken care of. I know it would not even be on their lot if it was not in such great condition. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

While vacationing in Myrtle Beach, the monitor on my SUV indicated that the anti-theft device had been activated and needed to be serviced. Although I didn't have an appointment, my sisters and I decided to stop at the Myrtle Beach Mercedes dealership.They were wonderful!!! Not only did they solve the problem, but they also washed and vacuumed my SUV. We were very impressed with the service area. We were on Vacation and my ML350 really started acting up, it wouldn't shift from first gear. My husband and I were sure the transmission was out, and was trying to figure out ways to get it towed home(we live in central Illinois) I called the dealership and talked to Ashley, she told me they were very busy but she would be able to get us in the next morning. Ashley even called me the next morning to make sure we were going to get our truck there safely. My husband and I spent the day waiting and thinking of all the things that could be wrong with it and how we were going to get. Ashley called and told us that afternoon and explained to us that is was just a sensor and they had it in stock, and they could have my vehicle done in a couple of hours. We were so happy and relieved that it was such a simple fix, and that the service department did what they could and as fast as they could to get us back on the road. Our vehicle had an engine issue that needed some expert review. The Mercedes-Benz mechanics found the issue very quickly and resolved to get it fixed. Although it took a little more time we can attributed that to the 4th July holiday and need of additional parts. To insure the job was done the Shop Foreman attended to the issue personally. I can't say enough for the excellent attention the Service Manager, Mike Milligan, provided us. He explained the issue, the repair, and follow-up answers to additional questions. This is what customer service is about...the customer. I have to mention our Sales Consultant, Jacob Vinson, and his efforts to personally attend our every need and concern. Took a car in for service, which was done and had no problems with this service. Excellent work as all ways. While car was being serviced shopped for a second car. This turned into an actual purchase. Sales person, JW, was great and the entire staff that was part of the sale was great. No only did it get great service in a car but was matched by the sales department on purchase of a second car. I drove my car home with my wife following in a new MB, both were smiling.

The air pressure light came on several times in a 2 week period. Each time, I took the car to the dealership and they immediately put air in the tire. The last time it came on the tire was noticeably flatter. I took the car in to be looked at. The service department examined it and found a nail in the tire. They fit me right in and replaced the tire while I waited. The waiting room is comfortable with some nice amenities like snacks, drinks and a tv. The wait was pleasant - just long enough for a cup of coffee and a little reading. My service advisor was James Nunnery and he provided excellent service. I have never been disappointed with the service. Everyone is always polite and prompt.

David the service person I work with is truly an exceptional customer service representative who made himself available through telephone and technology which certainly helped me out of a potentially engine seizing situation. He helped me on multiple fronts from changing my home address and taking care of getting my vehicle into the shop and under review in just over an hour (that includes the 17 mile tow to boot). Throughout the rest of the day he kept me informed by text message until repairs were complete he then helped me with transportation to get to the dealership and then walked me through the paperwork and repair showing me exactly what was repaired and explaining what the function of each component is. This was just a wonderful overall experience even above what I have become accustomed to with some 25+ of BMW ownership and many great experiences in the past, this one truly stood out. Too many people buy a car just like a commodity! They don't think about the commitment the Dealer ownership must make to provide a complete package for the customer. There's the facility and the size of the property to properly represent their product line. This is a dollars and cents commitment to the product but there's so much more to being a dealer and representing a product line beyond the bricks and mortar. There's the tremendous investment in people and the dealer must have the commitment of each person in the dealership to make things work and work well. This dealership makes that commitment everyday because you can see it when you walk in the door and you are greeted with a smile and a kind word. Yup, that's what you expect, right? Well how about the Service Writer or Parts Counterman who just happens to be walking past you and greets you with a smile and asks if they can answer any questions or help you in anyway. That's the difference between working at the Dealership or being a Part of the Dealership........that person, at that moment IS the Dealership and represents EVERY person in the Dealership. Folks, those persons lets me know I made the right choice. I expect the cars to be bright and shiny and I expect the showroom glass to be clean but then what about the shop? What do I care about the shop? All they do out there is make sure my car is properly cared for so that I can expect my automobile to provide me with continued reliable performance!! that's ALL!!!! And, you can be assured the Management expects ALL shop personnel maintain their work area in a commensurate manner. I recently purchased a used BMW from a private party. I stopped in to BMW of Myrtle Beach on Saturday to find out if the car needed servicing. I spoke to Matt who informed me that the vehicle needed a yearly oil change and service check. Matt gave me an appointment for Monday at 9:00 am which was perfect for me. I purchased a 2013 335i CPO and the whole process was pleasant and strtightforward with no pressure or sleazy sales tactics. I bought it online seeing it for the first time when I drove out to Myrtle Beach. Price was great, car was mint condition as promised and they were very generous on the trade allowance offering $1500-$2000 more than 2 other dealers. Would rate 5 stars but my first contact was with Damian who was not helpful at all and made me start looking elsewhere. After seeing the car still available I was fortunate enought to talk with Jacob who was truly a pleasure to deal with. Even the Finance guy (can't recall his name) was great and got me a much better rate through BMW then what BoA had offered me. So great price on the car, more than expected for my trade and a lower payment than I planned on adds up to an awesome experience. I've owned over 65 cars so I"m very familiar with the process and this was a nice surprise.

We were met by Alex Roach the service advisor who immediately made us feel comfortable and at home with the service dept. He then introduced us to Cody Fielding a sales consultant that took us through the process of choosing a Mercedes vehicle or a BMW. Both Mr. Roach and Mr. Fielding were most helpful, kind, patient, and considerate to our needs for a vehicle. Mr. Fielding even volunteer to buy us lunch since we arrived at that time and had not eaten. Mr. Roach was very mature for a young man and his knowledge of the dealership and the vehicle we purchase was impressive. Mr. Fielding also possessed great knowledge and took his time making sure my wife was comfortable with our choice. The outstanding service department is overshadowed by the poor buying process at this dealership. The first vehicle I purchased there was during the recession and there was nothing that they wouldn't do to enhance the sale and satisfy me, the customer. This included trading out tires for a preferred brand as well as selling the car to me at a reasonably discounted price. Now that good times have returned, at least to the extent that there are many more buyers, the dealership now requires a pricey "documents" service fee over and above the negotiated price (which is no longer significantly discounted) for the customer to have the privilege of buying a car from them. This offended me, as well as two friends who ended up buying their BMW's at a dealership more than 70 miles away.

I have always liked Myrtle Beach Automotive, My car is serviced within one to two hours and it comes back CLEAN. There are no greasy fingerprints inside or outside. It is vacuumed and washed. I appreciate that. I had to go somewhere else only once and will NEVER do that again. The people are polite and they do their job. I feel confident that my car will run smoothly and I don't have to worry. I got stuck one time and called the emergency number and MB Automotive was there to help me within 30 minutes. My car was originally services in Raleigh, NC. This goes to show you that two locations can work together for the same Company for the benefit for its customer. This was service at its best. My car was serviced in Raleigh, NC before my day trip to Myrtle Beach, SC. On the way back from the beach the car coolant light came on and needed immediate attention. Well, we had to get the car towed by Mercedes and then get a rental to get home to Raleigh, NC. This service was awesome. Not only did they work out payment, they arranged for my car to be picked up from SC and then delivered back to NC. To add to that, they paid for the car rental too. I am extremely pleased with the young man in SC and also Chuck Scott in Raleigh, NC. Chuck kept me informed daily as to the status of my car. When you buy a Mercedes, you just don't buy a car, you buy superior service too.!!! Thanks to all involved from NC to SC.

I had a bent rim and two flat tires, two very young tired and upset children, husband just left on an emergency work trip, and me alone on a family vacation to deal with this. I called and warned them I was limping my car in and they said they would be waiting for me. They greeted me as soon as I got there. Helped calm my kids and offered them snack and drinks and a place to play. David Spang kept me calm and kept me in the loop at every stage as he worked quickly to resolve my issues. I was given a wonderful loaner car and through the days it took them to fix and order parts they called and informed me of the status. I had a small plastic part on the convertible shelf break at base of the screw area. My car was one month out of warranty. This dealership could have pushed my case with BMW, but they did not. The small part could not have been more than five dollars, but BMW makes you buy the entire unit which was 300.00. The dealership installed the unit without letting me know the cost of this unit. I could have fixed this part myself If had know the cost. After waiting 11/2 hours for the car to be fixed, I just accepted the repair. I think both BMW and the dealership should be ashamed. This dealership has been great to work with in the past, but they fell down in this case.

I was having issues with my 2013 E350's rough shifting, and had read some unhappy Mercedes owners preaching gloom and doom with the 7 speed transmission. Honestly, I was expecting the worst before I took it in. I'm happy to say, that after taking it to Mercedes Bentz of Myrtle Beach, the service center simply reprogrammed the cars computer setting and it been operating flawlessly.

This was our second purchase at this location and could not have been better. Everyone very professional without any pressure to purchase. We test drove four vehicles to purchase the best suited vehicle. We had difficulty deciding on which vehicle so Wayland had Robbie pull the top 2 vehicles and again we tested vehicles. We were at dealership for 3 hours and it felt like 15 minutes because we did not feel pushed nor did we look for a door to leave. We came back because of previous experience almost 3 years ago. We will continue to purchase vehicles at this location for many years to come.

I recently hit a large pothole on Kings River Road in Pawleys Island, South Carolina, with my Mercedes 550 SL. The left front tire had to be replaced. The left front and left rear wheels were bent and the car had to have 4 wheel re-alignment. Mercedes paid to have the car towed 30 miles to Mercedes-Benz, Myrtle Beach. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience there and the service representative, Mr. Art Cappola. Art arranged for a loaner car, a brand new C Class sport model. My car was delivered back two days later in pristine shape with a new tire, straightened wheels, correct alignment, and a fresh wash/detail job--even spray glossed the tires. The car tracks and drives beautifully. Art Coppola gets the highest possible marks. Friendly and professionally efficient. Even handled interface with the cashier by walking the credit card back and returning receipt after thoroughly reviewing of the bill with the customer. This sort of service makes one proud to own a Mercedes Benz! P.S. The coffee and snack bars were an appreciated nicety.

Took my clk320 in for a $400 repair to replace the "dogbone" piece that was keeping my steering wheel from moving up and down. When it came back to me, the steering wheel vibrated wildly upon hitting any bumps in the road. Took it back again and they told me it was fine and I said NO, it isn't fine. They finally tightened something else and it made it better (for a while). It is now doing the same thing months later and getting worse by the day. Took it back again a few weeks ago and they kept it for 2 days and never called me to say anything. When I finally called them back on Saturday telling them I needed the car to get to work on Monday, they said they couldn't find anything causing the vibration but could feel it themselves too and said it might be the age of the car. I know one thing - it was 100% fine when I took it in and is now thoroughly screwed up and I am so angry that they have done this to my nice car. Going to take it back again and tell them to fix it and let me know when it is ready.

Purchased my 2012 535i certified back in October 2014. Worked with Steve through the sales process. Was very thorough and staff was just a pleasure to deal with. Building was well kept, bright, clean, and inviting IMO. Unfortunately the tires we a little bit too worn, so I decided to replace the tires, have the vehicle balanced etc end of march 2015... Come to find out there was a slight bend in the inner lip of one of the Rims. My sales person was there that day and truly went to bat for me. Just above and beyond what I would have expected. As did the service department. TRULY TOP NOTCH GUYS! They actually had another rim that matched from another vehicle that had purchased new rims and swap it out for me without a bill. While they were doing the service they also noticed the sensors for the tire was bad and actually went ahead and did that work also so I would not have to come back another day. The ole saying goes you gets what you pays for, and this saying applies with this BMW dealership. They showed me they valued my business, not just the initial sale. I will remember when my next vehicle needs to be replaced. HIGHLY recommended. Thanks Guys

Had a blowout near the dealership. Came in after the service dept was closed and staff just leaving. Dave Spang stayed and told me he could get me in first thing in the morning. Had to have car towed to have a tire fixed after a flat and an inability of road service (MBrace) to inflate the "spare". Service manager called early and had tire replaced with no issues. Initially they were uncertain if they had the tire in inventory. Would have thought all dealers would have all required tires (at least one) in inventory or a source of supply immediately available. I was surprised at the opening hours 8-6, which made contact difficult.

I hate to shop for a new car. I hate the games. And no questions get answered online or by calling on a particular car unless you submit email/phone number etc. in advance. I actually prowl dealerships late or off-hours first to see it there is a vehicle I am interested in and unless I submit information as above, you can't get an answer. I have been reluctantly been looking for months. I have wasted my time sitting in offices to come to no result too often. I was looking for a pre-owned certified late model car with my price,good trade in value and a great warranty Not the case here though. First a discussion of options/crunching numbers/trade in etc. was fast and quick before I would even drive the car with no pressure and to the point which is what I prefer. Robert (Robbie) handled the sale and as I went in late, very quickly, efficiently got everything done with a great,friendly,enthusiastic personality. The finance dept. gave me options for everything including warranties quickly, advising but not pushing. Jay R. had the task of explaining all the options and BMW new technology very,very new to me. He was great: so friendly and extremely patient. Explaining all that to me is not an easy task combined with I was in a hurry as usual.. And I drove my new car home! So as I was in a hurry to go late that Fri.afternoon, I needed to go back the next week for a service visit . Robert called me with an appt. time that fitted my schedule. Service was waiting and ready and I was out in no time. The team was great and made what is usually a stressful, maddening experience for me.... effortless and easy. I LOVE MY CAR...........

I would advise anyone shopping for a new BMW to be very wary of this dealership and the general manager Josh. I found a car online that I liked, went into the dealership and met with a salesman. It was a certified used BMW with a warranty. The car appeared to be in good shape, however I noticed the battery was 6 years old. This is past the expected life of a typical battery, and as anyone who has ever been broken down on the side of the road can tell you, an old battery can leave you high and dry. I never haggled on the price of the car, I showed up ready to buy and pay asking price. All I asked for was a new battery. The salesman named Thomas told me that BMW makes a special battery that lasts much much longer than "normal" batteries and I have nothing to worry about because BMW is the ultimate driving machine and their parts are top notch and their batteries last twice as long as normal batteries. I trusted Thomas, and relied on his statements and decided to go ahead and purchase the car. When I returned home that night, I googled excitedly about my new car - only to find out that BMW has no special patent on their batteries that give them extra long lives - they are just regular old car batteries with a normal lifespan. I felt extremely upset, knowing the price it would cost to replace something that was long past due it's expected life. Website after website that I pulled up including AAA recommended a battery replacement between 3-5 years. This battery was 6 years old and I do notice some indications that the battery is failing such as a little hesitency starting it when its cold in the morning. I was so angry, having relied on Thomas' statements only to find out I would have to come out of pockets hundred of dollars right away on my new car - I called and requested to speak the the manager. I remembered that Thomas had advised me that I should give him top marks on the customer survey when BMW corp called me, because anything less than 10's gets them in trouble. I left a voicemail for Joshua, the manager of the car lot the very next day letting him know my findings,and if we can't discuss and reach a mutual agreement, I would have no choice but to leave poor marks on the survey I was warned about that I would receive via email. Josh did not return my call that day, he called the next day. Little did Josh know, I recorded the phone call between he and I. During the call, John also stated that the BMW batteries were special and had much longer life spans than a typical battery. I immediately advised I had spoken to BMW corp as well as consulted numerous websites and that was simply untrue. I advised him I would not have purchased the car knowing I had to make a $500 repair upon purchase, but I was deceived and as a result, my experience was poor. He told me he would check with his shop and call me back. Josh never called me back that day... I had a strange feeling, so I called BMW corp and explained what was going on. It was not the fact that I didnt have the $500 - it was purely principal. I expect that when I make a major purchase at such a top notch company as BMW, I will not be met with lies, fraud, and misrepresentation to get me to purchase a car. Again - I did not haggle. I don't think asking for a good battery on a supposed certified used vehicle is asking too much when it's the ONLY ask literally. I had a funny feeling that night, so I called the corp office and the young man told me that my email address (the email that BMW emails surveys out to) was submitted by the dealership WRONG in the system - so I would be prevented from receiving a survey at all. Thanks Josh... now I know why he never returned my call. The next day I emailed him and told him the jig was up, I called and found out they changed my email, and what exactly was he planning to do about the battery. He told me they planned to do nothing at all and I could basically get lost and that the owner agreed. RUN do not walk

After much reassurance that a Cerified 2 year old 2011 335i with 13,750 miles and clean carfax was in great condition (other than a few typical defects), we agreed to a price and I drove 500 miles from Florida to make a deal. Upon arrival, I discovered that the rear quarter panel and rear driver's side door had been repainted. To make a long and unbelieveable story short, the sales team basically denied that the car was ever painted eventhought it was obvious (the facts don't lie). No manager wanted to even talk and they could not wait until I walked away. This was not work of one rogue saleman but the management philophy of this beautiful BMW/Mercedes dealership. So now they may be looking for you to buy one of their "premium" vehicles. My advise is go look anywhere else. Good Luck!

I told our salesman (Damien) that I was a" bottom line" kind of guy so don't waste half of my day with the back and forth price game....he agreed and said he didn't like the stress of buying a car that most sales people do either.....He lived up to his word and the process was very smooth and almost enjoyable.
