"Test drove a used Honda Pilot. The body looked great, but during the test drive I noticed that is was very hard to turn the steering wheel. I mentioned this and I was told this is "normal" for Pilots. He recommended I suck some of the power steering fluid out and put Lucas ps fluid back in. I also noticed that when you pushed the electric seats back and forth the seat would skip and judder. I was told they would look into it. Finally, I popped the hood and had my wife rev the engine and I noticed a pretty noticeable tapping or ticking noise. I was told that was also "normal". I was then told to hurry because there was another person waiting to test drive the vehicle. Since I didn't want to be pressured into this, I left and the other person supposedly bought the vehicle. However, two days later I received an email that it was available again. In those two days I drove a coworkers same year Honda Pilot and the steering was super smooth and the engine did not have any ticks. I contact the dealership and said what I had found and told them I would be happy to purchase it if those issues were fixed. They then supposedly had a Honda certified technician look at it and found "nothing" wrong with the car. I understand that it was probably too expensive to fix these issues but then sell it "as is" rather than certified. By the way when you look on the price make sure you add extra for a "certification fee" as well as a "docking fee" which they add on the final price. The saddest part of this is that I was planning on going to two other Napelton dealerships to look at two other Pilots but after this, there is no way that would happen!"

Test drove a 2012 Cadillac CTS; the car was nice. Showed me the CarFax and everything came back clean. When the test drive was over, there were white spots on the hood, top, and trunk lid. After further examination, there were little dents. Salesman tried to sell the car as if nothing was wrong and ignored the damage. Would not lower the price at all either. None of the hail damage was reported to CarFax so it did not show up on the report. Word of advice: Do NOT rely on the CarFax.

Rather than have me driving on a potentially unsafe tire my service rep, Mike Palumbo, immediately arranged for a loaner car for me (2016 XTS) and ordered a new tire for me. I have recently purchased a Porsche Macan from Porsche napleton, I was extremely satisfied with the customer service from Richard. Truly an incredible experience throughout the entire process with Napleton Cadillac! I had no idea what was going on with my STS, the symptom was a sudden loose of engine power along with a check your stability system display, the car would slow down to a stop. It worked out to be the auto-throttle. The dealership provided a new 2016 Cadillac CTS loaner at their expense. The whole team provided me an effortless experience. Irv, the customer rep, had my loaner ready, my car washed and ready for pickup and handled the paper work with the warranty company. Kevin, the tech, fixed the issue the first time.All-in-all it was very good experience.

Not all visits to Napleton are involving big issues, which is a good thing. Why would you want expensive car issues in the first place? With that being said, Irv, & Kevin, got the oil change, tire rotation, and back brakes to correct operating order. While there I looked at the new cars, visited with sales reps, Brian & Justine, drank the free coffee and went home. No hassles.

Service was a delight to work with! I came to Napleton to get age related issues sorted out and they exceeded my expectations by getting all of them done at once. So far, the car has been running fine. I'm hoping that another visit won't be necessary anytime soon, but when it does, It'll be at Napleton. Downside, I have an older Cadillac, and the bottom line is, It costs an arm and a leg to get any kind of service for your vehicle at any Cadillac Dealership.

Had been working with dealer on the purchase of a used Boxster. Had discussed on several occasions but could not agree on price. Asked dealer to let me know if any changes on price. Called dealer a week later to ask about the car. Dealer stated car was sold. Not the entire truth... dealer sold car at an auction. Fould this out through auto check. Disappointed dealer did not contact me before taking to auction. I'm sure my price would have been better than they received at auction. Will look elsewhere for a car.

I've had this car for 12 yrs. since I bought it there. And it was always serviced there, and so far I have always been treated fine and the car was always fixed properly. I may have had a time or two that I had to 'remind' them to check certain things (e.g.-fluid levels, cabin filter) because I'm not sure they did. But, they always make it right. That's mainly what matters to me...that they 'make it right' !

The Napleton team did a perfect job solving my Cadillac drive rattle. The repair (replaced all sway bars)indicates they are in interested doing a quality job. Driving out of the dealership my drive issue was solved (100% satisfied). The car was detailed to a level that was really appreciated. When leaving the dealer it was like the car was new again. The Cadillac ride is back. Coincidentally, I was also provided a current well equipped SUV loaner which I wanted to test drive.

I went to look at a used vehicle that was just listed in Cars.com and was greeted at the door by a very friendly chap. I inquired about the vehicle and he brought it out to the front of the store. He was quick to mention that it was in excellent condition except for a small dent on the tailgate. He told me about the owner and why they traded it in. I took a test drive the next day and because my salesman was off that day, another went with me and they let me drive 11 miles to my home so that I could see if it fit into my garage with my other car. I put a down payment on the vehicle a couple days later and completed the deal on Saturday, when I was more available. When I was picking the vehicle up, I had a friend give me a ride to the dealership and while I was getting the final papers, she came into the store and looked at a Subaru. She was previously interested in a Honda CRV but after looking at the Subaru, she became interested in the Forseter. My salesman was very kind to my friend too.

All my issues were addressed to my satisfaction. My last service visit was for a 40k oil change, GPS loosing destination address, XM radio loosing memory channels on the "A" list of the A to F listing and check for brake ware.I believe that the staff attempted to resolve all issues. They checked known defects database and error codes but nothing was found. The brakes were also checked and found to be fine.

I was in the market for a new Subaru. My daughter had purchased the Subaru Forester and told me what awesome mileage it got. I looked online and found Napleton had a Subaru dealership in Rockford. I called and the salesman was so helpful and was willing to come in on his day off to help me. The dealership was clean and everyone was professional. They were able to answer all my questions and in less than a week a car was delivered and all of the additional items were added. I am very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend this dealership to my friends!

Our first experience with Napleton was when the "Saturn" brand was discontinued. Napleton's service department took very good care of our two Saturns. When it was time for a new car we looked at all of the available options before deciding to buy a Subaru Forester. Our salesman, Tim, was most helpful. He showed us several models and pointed out all of the different features. We have been dealing with Tim for over ten years. He has always been honest with us and has done everything within his power to make our car buying experiences pleasant. If you are looking for a new car, talk to Tim at Napleton's. You will be glad you did. We are looking forward to many trouble free years with Napleton's and our new Subaru Forester.

We purchased our Outback here in a very pleasant buying experience after being unhappy with the Subaru dealer in Aurora. This was 2 years ago and we have been pleased by our service visits (free car wash) and the friendly service manager and other employees. The waiting area is comfortable and the coffee pot is on with a variety of choices. It's fun to walk around and sit in the new Subarus and dream of one in our future but for now we are so happy with our Outback that we don't need to buy anything else.

I did a lot of on-line research to select the Forester. Consumers Reports rates it very high as do several other car mags. I almost passed on it because Car & Driver said the automatic didn't have a passing gear, but decided to drive it on I -90. Got behind a truck at about 65 mph and nailed it. Trust me, it doesn't need a passing gear. We bought it for my wife but we both love it. We got a fair trade in, I usually sell the old car my self, but decided to see what they could do. Our salesperson, Tim, was very helpful and there was never any pressure to make a sale and he made sure we understood every step of the transaction. I would rate him and the facility as 10's

I bought a 2014 Forester for Napleton's Subaru. Mike Price (salesman) was very knowledgeable and helpful in showing us the vehicle, letting us test drive the vehicle, and answering any questions we had. He was fair in finding us the right vehicle for the right price. I would recommend working with him. The finance department needs some improvement. First, the individual presented us with a contract that was not for the original agreed upon price. I really hope that was an honest mistake. Once we informed him of it, he did correct it. Second, the quoted finance rate that we received was not what we were offered once we arrived to complete the deal. Only after voicing our complaints, did he give us a rate with a different bank that was within the range we were quoted. (We relied upon the quote in shopping for the best rate and why not give us the best rate to begin with?) Third, the individual did not appreciate the fact that we did not want to buy the extended warranty. We had to confirm with him multiple times that we did not want to purchase it and he made us feel uncomfortable for choosing not to purchase it. Overall, I would recommend this dealership; however, if you do have to deal with the finance department, make sure to review everything carefully before you sign on the dotted line.

Several years ago I bought my Subaru from Bruce at Napleton's. Our whole deal took less than 3 hours to complete. There was no pressure, they gave me a fair price for my Subaru trade in and a fair price on my new Outback. So when looking for a new car I went back to Napleton's . I first spoke to Scott the general manager, he told me when I was ready come in and we would discuss a lease and all the pro's and con's. I went in at 10am talked to Jeff one of the salesman-fell in love with the car on the show room floor and drove out with my new car by 2pm.- They explained the lease process and how it benefited my situation. I would recommend Napleton's to anyone looking for a Subaru. Not only are their salesman top notch but my Subaru repair service rep Mike P. is very helpful whenever I have a service question or need my vehicle serviced.

Salesman (Tim) met us at the door. We told him what we were looking for and he took us out for a test drive. No pressure. We returned a couple of weeks later, got a no hassle price and made the deal. When the car came in Tim went over all the functions of the car, we drove it home and are happy customers. Easy car buying.

I knew I was looking for a Subaru, trading in a Cadillac. I dealt with Clay, and received low pressure, honesty, humor, and respect as a woman. I had a hybrid that had just had its second hybrid battery installed at 28K miles. Was not looking toward the future with happiness. Looked at Honda, Toyota, Mazda, Hyundai and Subaru. The salesman was very low pitch, very helpful, straight forward, appeared to love the cars he sold. Listened. The dealership was busy, the facilities clean and efficient, people appeared to be getting service quickly. I was pleased with everything.

We received excellent service at Napleton Subaru. We have dealt with Clay in the past and we will continue to follow him. He has been very honest and very courteous. He has always made us feel at home. He worked very hard to find us a Subaru. I am not any easy person to please and he found just what I asked for and had it delivered in a very minimal amount of time. He even came out to my place of business to install my all weather mats before our big ice storm in the Midwest. I so very happy we met him years ago and I look forward to visiting him often. Napleton Subaru has a great asset in Clay and they are very lucky to have him. He knows his product very well.

The driver's door needed an adjustment. I went to the Service Dept. The Service Advisor was courteous and he had the car taken into the service area. They made the needed adjustment and washed my car. I was on my way within and hour. All this without an appointment.

We were very pleased with the attention we received when we purchased our Cadillac. It had been a demonstrator before we bought it. The second key could not be found, so they ordered one for us. I took the car in to the Service Dept. to have the key cut. They were very polite and helpful. The waiting lounge is beautiful, and the job didn't take very long. Several weeks after we purchased the car, I took the car to the dealership and our salesman showed me how to program the locks the way I want them. He was very patient and helpful.

Great sales people to work with when buying and answering questions after the sale. The service department has always been very helpful and understanding for both myself and my wife. We liked my wife's 2010 Subaru Forester so much, we bought two new Forester. I traded my Buick and have no regrets.

Very happy both with the service rendered and the people I came in contact with. While waiting to have the work done I was able to wonder through the sales room without having a lot of people bugging me to buy another car. But when I did look puzzled someone did come up and ask if they could help.

Repairs done and still had complications. Called back and still (4 days later) they have not called back. Spent $1600 on repairs and no call back? Thank you, and I will buy and service else where. This is my wife's vehicle.......I have a Flex which has been great for 4 years and 80,000'miles. Great service and no issues and same miles as on the Tribeca. Wouldn't buy one again.

Helped a friend buy a new Subaru from Napleton . The experience and service afterwards was exemplary. So when I was ready to buy , I went back to Napleton and purchased a new Outback. Not had to many good experiences over the years buying cars. BUT Napleton renews my trust in Dealerships. AND after you buy the vehicle , their service dept. goes out of the way to take care of the service work. Keep up the good work.

I bought a Subaru SVX, the buying process was fairly easy and the car was well priced with the mileage, although they did come down on price after much haggling. The car was good for a while but the fuel pump went (not the dealer's fault). I took the car in for service, but the part I needed had a 6 month wait and the car was not driveable. I asked the service manager about a loaner car since the car was my wife's daily driver, but I was denied my request because I had bought a used car not a new one. I am extremely disappointed that they would treat me this way just because I had bought a used car. I had a good expierence with the dealership up until that point (this was not the first time I had the car in for service there), but that expierence ruined any loyalty I would have had with the dealership, and will NEVER buy a vehicle from them again.
