Edit: everything was completed and all is good. Updated to 5 stars. While I was more than pleased with the dealership, I am still waiting for the old lease on the car turned in from NMAC (Nissan) to Garden City Nissan to be terminated. I will be happy to revise this should the dealership finish terminating the old lease AND payments as promised.

The salesman was not interested in making a sale at all. Barely looked at us and gave curt answers. We got a good feel for the car during the test drive which was setup very quickly for us. Once we were ready to get numbers, salesman disappeared for 10 minutes and came back with a form for us to fill out. I didn't feel comfortable filling out the forms until we get a price range. If the price was way out of our range, we wouldn't be wasting anybody's time. I was given an attitude and 15 minutes later a manager walks up to us and says they can't run numbers without running the background check. And also asked why don't we want to finance, when i clearly stated we want to lease. Mind you, the Mazda dealership we visited right before Nissan, didn't give us any issue. They never asked for a credit check before they gave me prices. Why do I need a credit check before getting the price of the car?

I called on a Saturday before Labor Day and John was able to get my car serviced that Tuesday. I came in with some transmission issues. John was very helpful. He explained to me in full detail what work was done on my car. Nissan got my car in and out the same day! Definitely recommend Nissan of Garden City.

Omar was extremely helpful. He guided me through all of my needs and even assisted with me understanding the breakdown of my bill. This is not my first interaction with him and I always look for him as I know the service to expect. He is a great aspect to the team And I’m appreciative for his service.

The service here is excellent. When I met with the salesperson Rohan, he was attentive, enthusiastic and focused on my situation and went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed. The finance manager Desmond was also very helpful, offering detailed explanations. This dealership is the best!

I DON'T recommend this dealer at all! EXTREMELY bad service. IF YOU DON"T BUY FROM THEM THEY WILL GIVE YOU AN ATTITUDE! Never place a deposit cause "they will drag you in many ways to get your refund". Put you on hold for a long time and toss you from person to person. Days turned in to WEEKS and still no refund. They will ask you to speak to Belinda or whoever and they don't even know when that person will be available and don't even have a phone number. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!

They had a car listed on Cars.com for !2,995 and my mother needs a new car and asked me to take care of finding it for her. I emailed and asked if the car was still available and they said yes! I asked how much would it be out the door, as I will be registering and tagging it in another state. "I can't give you the price unless you come in. I said okay - how much do I need to bring with me? Hello Joe:I can't give you an out the door number untill we figure out all the lease fees and recieve information that we cannot take over phone or email. Wewill make it wrh your trip here.Regards,Doyle Randall Jr.Okay Doyle - I am paying cash so the lease fees shouldn't affect my price. I would stay as far away from these clowns as possible - they can't even give an out the door price....

Drove all the way from upstate NY (350miles) to purchase 2013 Nissan Leaf back in August, filled out a credit application and all the paperwork. They could not release the car to me due to the factory recall, they were supposed to call me to set up a pick up after the recall was fixed. Waited for 6 weeks no calls, I decided to call them to find out what was going on, my sales person Ian told me that the car was already sold to somebody else...

Went to garden city Nissan looking for a new reliable affordable car. My Mazda was in its way out and I was tired of putting money into it. Explaining my current situation to Tony he gave me hope! He was very professional and friendly, I've always wanted a maxima as they are such sexy cars but I worried about the cost.. low and behold Tony was able to quickly work out a great deal on a maxima for me! I would highly recommend this dealership for anyone looking for a comfortable sale! Thank you Nissanof Garden City !

I came to the garden city Nissan dealership not knowing what or how to buy a car. I was met by this young lady by the name of Rocio, who was excellent in walking me through everything. She was patient, well educated, and she made me feel comfortable. The rest of the staff was accommodating and pleasant. If it wasn't for Rocio, I probably wouldn't have brought a car today. Thank you so much for your services!!! I highly recommend this dealership. I will be referring my daughters and all my lady friends to Rocio.Adrienne Terry, LMSW

I called to pick up my car and they informed me they sold it to someone else. They took my deposit and have still not refunded it back to me. I have asked for numerous call backs and no response. After further reviews online I see I am not the only one. It appears they do this on a regular basis and blame it on 'being a high volume dealership'. I can't imagine after selling a vehicle to one person they then sell it to another without any respect for a signed contract. I do not recommend dealing with this dealership at all.

I thought these type of dealer were dead because of the new research tools that consumers have, boy was I wrong these guys count on people not doing research. They advertise a low price just to pull you in and add hidden charges like a Certified reactivation fee, wait a min the car is advertised as a certified vehicle you may ask. Yes but a small fee to activate the warranty. $400 is not a small fee. then they will add other fee as a destination charge, on a used car really! I only found this out after putting down $100 deposit. I let them check my credit which I stated only with Nissan financial and they ran it with five banks without my approval and lied about it. The salesman raised the asking price stating all the fees would be included and then after acted surprised when I caught on later with the finance manager and then called me a lair. Don't go here you will regret it, this dealer will try to confuse you playing with the numbers and you will not notice if you are not paying attention. Ohh it's been 3 weeks and they still haven't refunded my deposit as promised.

I brought my car in for an oil change. When I went to pick it up I found the car was hit. The lady who hit was there & already called the cops. The dealer said it's your car and it's between you and her. What's the point of checking the car for damage before I leave it cause if it's damage before I get it back they won't take care of it!!!!

The sales consultant Shawn Peterson was so accommodating to me! He explained step by step the process and answered all of my questions. I bought a pre owned vehicle and told him the criteria that I was using to make the purchase . He listened carefully and was helpful, patient, and trustworthy. It was a very positive car buying experience.

THE worst dealership of all time. I called 4 separate times, offering them full price + whatever fees they wanted on top of the full price for their GTR, yet no one could come to me and say that they wanted to take the offer. You'd think that someone offering full price for their most expensive car would warrant a fairly timely response... On top of that insane dealership does not take full price and all associated (BS) fees for their car? Everyone said they would "call me back" but never did until I re-called (multiple times). They just want to sucker you in so they can jack up the price and make you feel bad about leaving without a car. They have horrendous sales people and a horrible business model. They won't even hold a car for you if you agree to buy it! Absolutely disgusting place, would never recommend anyone going to it. STAY AWAY FROM THIS NISSAN.

They're only interested in making a sale. After that, you're on your own. Leased us a LEMON and are not interested in assisting us on any level. They simply don't care. The place is overrun by incompetent and unprofessional staff. Save your money, time, and headaches!

"STAY FAR AWAY FROM NISSAN OF GARDEN CITY!!!"STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE FROM NISSAN OF GARDEN CITY, I SAW A 2013 NISSAN LEAF FOR SALE FOR $11,000 BY TIME I WENT TO SIGN THE PAPER WORK THE CAR WAS NOW $14,000. IN ADDITION I TRADED IN A 2007 MERCEDES BENZ WITH LESS THAT 80,0000 MILES ON IT IN GREAT CONDITION AND ACCORDING TO CARLOS AND TEDDY MY GL450 WAS ONLY WORTH $14,000 WHEN IT WAS ACTUALLY WORTH $17,000. HERE IS THE CHERRY ON TOP NISSAN OF GARDEN CITY ADDED $2,700 ON DMV FEES. I WAITED TO SEE IF THEY WERE GOING TO DO THE RIGHT THING BUT THEY DIDN'T AND THAT'S THE REASON I'M GOING TO NEW YORK STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL AT THE END OF THIS MONTH. THE ATTORNEY GENERAL TOLD ME THEY HAVE A HISTORY TOGETHER AND ITS NOT A GOOD ONE. HE ALREADY WENT AFTER NISSAN LAST YEAR FOR SOME QUESTIONABLE DEALINGS THEY HAD AT NISSAN OF HUNTINGTON AND ATLANTIC NISSAN TO NAME A FEW. I CAN'T WAIT TO MEET NEW YORK ATTORNEY GENERAL AT THE END OF THE MONTH. HOPEFULLY THIS REVIEW WILL SAVE SOME PEOPLE BEFORE THEY BEFORE VICTIMS TO THE SCAMS GOING ON AT NISSAN OF GARDEN CITY, I COULDN'T SAY IT ENOUGH STAY AWAY FROM GARDEN CITY NISSAN!!!!

You know that feeling you get when you go to make a big purchase sometimes like youve been cheated or played? Well that was not the case at Nissan of Garden City. The customer service was excellent, I was treated right from beginning to end. Friendly, helpful and efficient staff. I feel like a got a great deal on the car. The only things that remotely held the process up as it typically happens was the bank for financing and calling the car insurance company. There was no pressure to buy any add-ons. They did everything possible to get me in a car that day! I think I may become a loyal Nissan owner for years to come. Love my new car!

After purchasing a rogue here three years ago without any issues we decided to go back to lease an altima. Met with salesman Ron on two separate occasions and agreed to a price. Then met with Arthur Early the finance manager who is complete xxxx. I would not trust a single word this man says. At first he said since we were there in January and it was now february a few days later the rebate was different so the additional cost could be rolled into the payments or added to down payment. Well my husband was originally there on february 1 and not january so that was a lie and a good try and attempting to get us to pay more. Next issue was we did not have the title of the car we were trading in with us and when i said i would go get it and be back in 15 minutes he said it wasn't necessary and then told us we can come back with it in the AM but they couldn't register the car to us that night without title (which is illegal as you can't drive an unregistered car off the lot). The icing on the cake was that he then tried to get us to sign two contracts, one with the prices we agreed on with Ron and the other was the price he suggested we would have to pay due to the rebate issue-he said that second contract was since we didn't have the title with us. Which he said was not necessary to get tonight. We walked out and the GM ( who started 2 days prior) tried to smooth it over but no way. These people (especially Arthur EARLY) is a complete scammer and i would never recommend this dealer to anyone. Stay away!!!

sales people are liars. Service dept is crooked . managers are unhelpful and rude can't believe they did these things to me. Even though I got free oil changes for life I'll be going elsewhere and pay for them. Don't want them touching my car. One visit 2 hrs for an oil change Another 6 hrs for a brake job they had to redo 3x same day. RUN FROM THIS PLACE AS FAST AS YOU CAN. THEY STINK

Long story short: I came in with knowledge about a specific car. Once the salesman I was paired up with notice how I wasn't a complete idiot, he became visibly upset. I was held in the dealership for about 2 hours, half of which I was sitting alone at a desk. When we finally finished for the day, I was told he would contact me in a few days to clear up some issues about the car in question. A few days went by; he never reached out to me. I reached out to him eventually and was never contacted back. I left several messages with customer service at Nissan of Garden City and nothing helped. Even if I got a call back one day telling me the car was on sale for half price, I would not even consider buying it. This dealer will treat you terribly unless you seem like a moron who has no idea about cars. Knowledgeable buyers beware!!!

I had an amazing experience here at Nissan of Garden City! From the second I walked in when my salesman greeted me and my father right to the end. The salesman was focusing on my father at first, and once my dad made it clear that I was the one making the purchase he spoke to me the rest of our stay. He worked with me to get what I wanted, even when I was trying to get more for what I wanted to pay. Right on through sitting with finance everything went very smoothly. I also met with Kerry, one of the managers, she was great and very helpful in this process. She was respectful and very patient with me and my indecisiveness. I appreciate her and her staff for all of their patience with me. This is the second car that I have leased and this experience was far more easier then my previous one with a different dealership. I walked away with a great car (Rogue), that I absolutely love!!!! My salesman, called to check up on me asking how everything was going in the next couple of days and was very polite and respectful on the phone with me. I was having a sunroof added, so I set up an appointment with Nissan to have that added, and it couldn't have gone over easier. I was given a rental car for the time I would be without my car. I didn't have to worry about a thing! I recommended this dealership to my sister (who also purchased a car after me), and several friends and coworkers. I will continue to recommend Nissan of Garden City, and will definitely go back to them when this lease it up!

We had Kerrie as our salesperson assisted by Edwin. The process from start to final, including the finance mgr and Gabriella who showed us everything in/out of the car was fantastic. I can see why they're the largest Nissan dealer in the world. They are true professionals at what the do starting with Kerrie. I will recommend Nissan of Garden City to anyone I know that's looking for a Nissan.Pat S.

We just picked up our 3rd Nissan rogue from Tony B. He made sure that everything went smoothly and made my mom very happy! He is our guy! The manager even came over and introduced himself during the delivery process to make sure everything was okay. We drive almost an hour to get to Nissan of garden city and we plan on doing it again and again. Great place!

Visited this dealership to purchase a pre-owned vehicle. Such a pleasurable car buying experience. We were treated very well from the moment we entered the dealership up until the moment we drove off with our new car! Quality people, quality service, and quality cars! Definitely recommend. We worked with Sheldon in Sales and Victor in Finance. They were both very friendly, accommodating, and a great pleasure to work with the entire time!

I went in to Garden City Nissan to see if I could get a good deal on a car which I had researched and knew was at the top end of my price range. I met with Edwin who was extremely helpful and straightforward with me the whole time about whether or not I could afford the car I wanted at the price I wanted to pay, and even though he thought I would be better off going for a lower model, he still put my offer through and after a bit of negotiation, he and Tito were able to get me the car I wanted for the price I wanted. They really went out of their way to help me get a great deal. I highly recommend this dealership.

I had a great experience at Nissan of Garden City the sales person Carlos was great the reason for 3 stars for the facility was because they should have a petty cash for change for the vending machines for water and a snack we were there for 8 hours and didn't know to bring a pocket full of singles and coins for the coffee machine. But over all it was great. A friend and my sister are going there on my recommendation.

I have bought a certified pre-owned 2014 Nissan Quest LE on 04/27/2015 from Nissan of Garden City car dealership located at 316 N Franklin St, Hempstead, NY 11550. As per the adverstiment and Carfax Report they were supposed to give me a pre-owned certified warranty with my purchase. I had ask this question about Certified warranty at the time of Sale, but was told that its not included and when asked why are you selling me a certified pre-owned vehicle when it does not have the certified warranty. The response I got from the Salesman and the Finance manager that it is available but I have to buy it. So with my purchase I went ahead and bought the extended warranty for $2900 plus tax. It was too late the night I purchased the Vehicle and I had to drive all the way back to South Windsor, CT from Hempstead NY (2.5 hrs. one way trip). I didnt get home till 3.00 in the morning that evening. The next day when I went back and looked at the adverstiment and the Carfax Report, I was very sure that the pre-owned vehicle does come with pre-owned warranty and I didnt had to buy the extended warranty. The first thing I did was to reach out to the dealership via phone calls and emails. After numerous tries I was able to get hold off the General Manager Dennis Barchi and the customer relations Manager Nicholas and I was assured that they will look into the matter and call me back. After a day or so went pass and didnt get any response back. Thats when I realized that they are not going to look in to matter and try and resolve it peacefully. I called up the Nissan Customer Service and opened a case (Case No # 18634874) against the dealer and in-fact spoke to the customer relations specialist regarding the issue and she assured me that she will try and contact the dealer and ask them to follow-up on my concern. The next day (Friday) I finally received a call from the dealership it was Nicholas the customer relations manager and he asked me if I can come to the dealership so that they can resolve my matter. I told Nick that I leave 3 hours away from the dealership so I can only come over the weekends and he said dont worry I can come any day of the week and just see the Finance Director Dennis Garcia or Christopher. I went as far in asking Nick that I dont want to waste my time if they are going to honor the pre-owned warranty that comes with the car and he said they will get these resolved, but only in-person and not over the phone. So I decided to go to the dealership on Saturday (05/02), but before I left I had called up Dennis Garcia to follow up on my issue and his first reaction was I not aware of any such issue and after explaining the on-going issue and his response was come on- in and ask for Christopher. Finally when I arrived at the dealer I spoke to Chris and explained him the situation and his reaction was same thing that he is not aware that I was coming in and second if he knew that I was coming he would have told me no, coz they dont cancel or modify any contracts over the weekends. I got really upset after numerous explanations and going over the advertisement I asked him that the pre-owned certified comes with pre-owned warranty. He said that he could not to do anything and would not honor me the pre-owned warranty coz its optional and not included with the car. I asked him fine at least cancel my extended warranty that I bought and he said he cant do it either. I was so mad I told him I need to see the floor manager and he said fine and asked me to wait in the lobby. Finally the sales manager shows up and wants to know what was going on I went over the entire the situation and he said he will look into it and come back. After 5 minutes or so he shows up and tells me that I can take my concerned straight to Nissan and they would not to do anything to resolve it. I asked him can they at least cancel my extended warranty and he refused to do it. . I was so angry and mad that if they didnt want to resolve my matter why in the xxxx they asked me to come at first place

I purchased a 2014 Nissan Murano Cross Cabriolet from this dealer on Sunday March 29,2015 and left a deposit of $2,456.32. Carlos P. my salesman, was new but seemed nice, perhapes he needs to go back to school to learn about integrity. The floor sales manager Frank ( just as unscrupulous) helped seal the deal and signed the purchase agreement. I was picking up the car the next day between 2 and 3, Monday March 30,2015. The next morning I received a call from the dealer advising me NOT to come to pick up my car because they SOLD IT TO SOMEONE ELSE! I was furious!!!! What do you mean, I asked? I have a signed contract and a large deposit! Sorry about that but we told you to take the car on Sunday, they replied! I have a signed contract stating that this is binding when signed by the seller and buyer. Can you beleive the TOTAL disregard for the LAW! I had to call 5x to get my deposit back, DISGRACEFUL. They do not deserve to be in business in Long Island and my next complaint will be with the Nassau County Office of Consumer Affairs and the Attorney Generals Office. The bottom line is their ony concern, $$$$$, NOT ME or YOU! Stay clear of this Nissan Dealer they practice DIRTY business, operate by their own rules and show no moral principles or values, completely dishonest.

Nissan of Garden City is so unprofessional and their service department is terrible. Customer Service is not their specialty. I bought a brand new Nissan Frontier off their lot in February 2014 and have been to the service department a dozen times to fix what appears to be an electrical fault in the new car. My vehicle has been in their shop for 12 days now and they have yet to figure out what the problem is and keep blaming the Manufacturer. After speaking with the Manufacturer, they say the service department at Garden City is able to fix the car. To date, no one knows what they are doing or talking about since the car has not been fixed. Stay away from Garden City Nissan if you want to keep a sane head on your shoulder because they will drive you CRAZY!!!

Went in to look at a 2015 Rogue. The place has more of a cheesy nightclub atmosphere than a car dealership but I digress. After a few minutes, a salesman approached us and we told him what we wanted to see. He stated it was his first day and had to ask where an available Rogue was (none in showroom but there was one just outside the door we were standing by that was obviously for show) and disappeared for 10 min. He returned and guided us outside to the lot where he proceeded to show us the wrong car. After I found the car, this salesman had no answers for us but made it known that "it would look really good if I sold a car on my first day." Back inside, I felt like I was on a job interview being interviewed by a fry cooker at McDonalds. After stating multiple times I wanted a ballpark figure to start with on a Rogue SV (mid model) he tells me to give him a number. I told him if he wanted tom sell me a car today he'd have to come in at $25000 out the door for the SV model. ( I knew this wasn't possible but he had mentioned several more times in the meantime how great it would be if he sold a car on his first day.) He proceeded to write what I wanted on a blank piece of paper and requested I sign it "so he could show his boss we were serious buyers." I asked what this was and he told me he needed to show his boss we were serious. We left without saying goodbye. If you're thinking of opening a car dealership, go here and do the complete opposite of what it is they do. I sincerely hope this isn't the norm here.

I am an Irate customer with Nissan Garden City Service. I took my Nissan Armada there about a year ago bec the blinking light for the airbag. They have said it is bec of the buckle of the seat belt. A month later the light was on again and i took the car back 3 weeks ago the reason i have waited so long is i am working and GC Service is the worst.I took my car there 3 weeks ago and they kept the vehicle for 3 days to find out the problem all they wanted to do was to change the buckle again even tough i told them that is wht they did a year ago after 3 days thanks god they decide wht to do and when they are changing the buckle they broke the buckle so they need to order the part again and they told me it would be a week so i should go and pick up the vehicle and bring back I went to pick up the vehicle and then a week later i return the vehicle they told me they will give me a rental bec i had my kids and they had dental appointment as well then an hour later they said i should wait 20 min and the vehicle will be ready of course not i end up waiting 6 hours they have changed the buckle but the remote key wasn't working properly also and they knew about it they even noted that they need to change the antenna for that but they told me that they forgot about it and i have to take my car back for that . And now just after 3 weeks the light is on again so here they are they didnt fix anything and all that waste of time and i the time i lost at work and i am a single mother. Every penny counts for me. This service department is like a bad joke which is not funny. i am an IRATE customer....., I will complain to all consumer affairs,....

From the many years of leasing or owning my cars, this was definitely the best experience I ever had in my life. Many thanks to my great salesman, William Kim, well mannered and no pressure Sales Manager, Roosevelt Williams, Great personality also with no pressure Financial adviser, Geoffrey Mankowski. You all went above and beyond what my expectations were and made it a very smooth and exciting experience. I do not know the gentleman's name that helped explain all features of the car at the time of delivery but he was also excellent and very knowledgeable and helpful with all the features, including some that I was not aware of. I would never go anyplace else after having such a wonderful experience and although it is a little far for me to go for services, look forward to bringing my car back there to see if the same holds true for their service center, so I can provide the same great feedback should it be as well deserved. MANY THANKS!!!!!! You made a customer for life as long as I am looking for a Nissan. Will also recommend my family and friends.

After buying 2 vehicle from this dealership in the pass, i taught getting 3rd would be easy and won't have to haggle back and forth. Spoke to sales person..looks like it was her 1st day on the job.. came in with TrueCar pricing.. they wanted to price the car (2014 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum) higher. Sales manager came out with his usual BS, we agree to an interest rate.. when i get to the finance guy, he's giving me a higher rate.. argued with him, we come to an interest rate which i didn't like but acceptable..Decided to buy Nissan extended warranty, which i told them i pay separate for $2550.. they included it in the total sale and use that money as a down payment..which i didn't want..,, i'm filing a complaint against this dealership with NissanUSA..let see how that goes.

I was disappointed and upset to find out that the 2012 Nissan Quest with 48K miles, stock #26635 which was quoted to me over the phone as $14,900 was a complete bait-and-switch scam.? I drove about 40 miles and an hour round-trip - a complete waste of time to find that Nissan of Garden City did not have the car on the lot. I had made an appointment at 7:30 on Thursday, May 15th was so that they would have the car ready for me to view. I made a follow-up call to the dealership and also asked the dealership to email me the details of the car to confirm everything so that when I arrived, there would be no mix-up. I requested the quote in writing so that no one would attempt to change the price on me and received no reply. No one told me that the car was sold. They simply said it was not on the lot. I asked a manager why it wasn't ready and he did not have a definite answer. What he did say is that your call center is controlled by Nissan corporate and that he has requested in the past that if a car is not available, the call center should not advertise it as available to customers. I requested that he file a complaint against the call center for this situation. The manager said that the only thing he could do is help me with my trade-ins. I'm believe he meant that he would try to give me a good price for my trade-ins, however, I the only Quest he had that I saw was one with 66K miles; almost 20K miles more than the one that was originally represented to me. I really expected more from the "World's Largest Nissan Dealership". How can they have such unscrupulous, dishonest, and greedy business practices and expect a loyal customer? I have had both Hondas and Toyotas and was ready to get a Nissan but this entire experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. If there has been some kind of mistake, I am willing to hear them out, however, it does not seem like any mistakes were made here except to upset a potential customer.

Very happy with the car. The dealer got the car day off. She was not a pushy sales person like most dealers She was knowledgable and new a lot about the cars. She also was very friendly and offered my husband and I pizza and snacks while we were there.

I bought a car at this dealership in October and came back a couple months later to buy another new car. I was lied to multiple times and mislead. For example, after completing a contract with the sales department and leaving a $1,000 deposit, we were told my trade in car was no longer worth what they had promised us and what was written on the contract. They also ran my credit despite the fact that we were paying for the car in cash and never authorized them to run our credit in the first place. The boss came into to speak to us about why we were upset and did not want to proceed with the deal and he was rude and disrespectful instead of apologetic. He continued to put us down and was very condescending. I can't even wrap my head around what happened because I can't even imagine people being so conniving and thinking that its okay. I can't believe that such dishonest people like this are able to conduct business. To add insult to injury I am pregnant! I would never shop at this dealership ever again and advise everyone else to stay away as well. My complaint does not end here. The fact that they conducted business dishonestly and even illegally will be further escalated!

I am a shopper. I go for the best deal, hands down. I was looking for the best price and needed something in my budget. I went and looked at the Nissan Pathfinder and instantly had to have it. I worked with Johnnie and he was great, he took the time to understand what I was looking for. I was able to leave with my beautiful new car a few hours later. I recommend this dealer to everyone, its worth the drive even if you are far away. If you want to save $$$ this is the place to go.

As soon as we walked in the door everyone was very friendly. Carlos P and the rest of the people that helped us were very informative and walked us through all the steps with our new lease. We didnt have a lot of time and they moved us along without pushing us out the door. We had a great experience with the staff and I would send anyone I know that is looking for a car to go there. Buying a new car is very stressful and the staff there took away that stress. Carlos and everyone else there that helped make our experience very pleasant.

Freddy- Was highly knowledgable about the vehicles being discussed. He went at all lengths to help accomodate me and my family and get us the car we wanted for the price we were comfortable with. His patience and ability to help me lease the car I wanted and leave very pleased, should not go unnoticed. Freddy is a strong salesman with confidence that will ultimately serve him and the dealership well.Carlos- Knew the interior and technologies of the 2013 Altima SV like he owned the car himself. He knew exactly where each feautured was located and what was needed to properly utilize the function. His positive energy and friendly demeanor helped to put the icing on the cake for my very good experience with Nissan of Gardin City. Both Freddy and Carlos deserve recognition for working together and making the transation possible. I would like to thank all those invovled for helping me lease my new car. I am very happy with our deal and plan to be back in 36 months for another vehicle. Please pass the acknowledgements along to both Carlos and Freddy. Once again Thank you. -Stephen Viafore

The initial greeting when we walked in was a big part of what made us stay and talk to someone about buying a car. The gentlemen who worked with us had a lot of knowledge and a very positive attitude and he put us at ease. Everyone that helped us seemed genuinely happy for us that we were getting a new Nissan and also supportive since we lost all our cars during Hurricane Sandy. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone I know looking for a car. And I look forward to working with you again when my lease is up.

Carlos was extremely knowledgable and helpful in setting up all the electronics (navigation, Bluetooth, etc...). He was attentive and patient; allowing me to be increasingly participatory, then fully confident and at ease working with all the features in my new car. He assured me he would be available should I need additional assistance, and he was true to his word. My previous experience at a different Nissan dealership did not include this level of detail to customer service. Thanks Carlos, you're fabulous!

My wife and I leased a car from Mel last summer and had a great experience. So when my toyota was totaled i went back to Mel and Carlos cause of my first experience. My experience at Toyota was horrible so going to Nissan was a no brainer. I was in and out fast and left with my new car, which incidentally hit very bad 3 days later!!! If this car is totaled i will go back to Mel and the guys at Nissan of Garden City.

It was a pressure free sales experience coupled with unbeatable value, unequivocal professionalism, and extraordinary etiquette!!! I will sing their praises especially since I have purchased other new vehicles in the past and visited countless other dealerships only to receive subpar treatment and value. I also own a 2009 Hyundai Elantra and was interested in the 2013 Sonata. However I decided against it since I was treated poorly on several ocations during regular maintenance visits to the dealership I purchased from. Prior to visiting Nissan of Garden City I had a horrid experience with a sales associate named Dennis at Gregoris Nissan located in Valley Stream on Merrick. Be Ware, do not go there!!! Dennis was extremely obnoxious, condescending, and uninterested in assisting my husband and I in our goal to purchase a new vehicle. We are a young newly wedded couple and have a credit score of 760 and a 3 family home that is completely paid for. Dennis was unaware of this since he seemed to profile us and never bothered to gather any information about us. He was extremely insulting and left me in tears suggesting that we decide which vehicle we wanted and come back (we were debating between two Nissan models) even though he nevershowed us either. Luckily Nissan of Garden City was only 5 miles away, we pulled ourselves together and decided not to write off Nissan just yet. There is where my story had an extremely happy ending thanks to John E., Carlos P., and Roosevelt Williams!!! My hubby and I drove home a brand New Pearl White with Beige Leather interior 2013 Nissan SL Altima that very night!!! I love my vehicle and the people I worked with. I suspect this is the beginning of a long and loyal relationship between myself and Garden City Nissan as I can see they understand the concept of customer satisfaction and the correlation of repeat buisniess. I am confident that their attitude won't change like Hyundai of Valley Stream!!! Thanks guys, for making sure my new year will truly be happy!!!

I was very happy with my experience and would recommend this dealership without hesitation! I also appreciated the gentleman who showed me the car features and set the radio stations for me! Thanks Carlos

Anton made my buying experience one of the best I've had in a while. I've been leasing cars from different manufacturers for years and, I must admit to the truly satisfactional customer service that I received. I loved the energy that the staff exuded at the dealership. The music selection is the best I've heard at a dealership in a long time. This made me feel more comfortable with my over all leasing experience. I would recommend this dealership to anyone.

Prior to visiting Nissan of Garden City, I was never really into Nissan but after being helped by Nicholas my view has changed. Besides doing the usual salesman pitch, he was very helpful in finding a car that satisfied my every need. I was able to purchase a new car that fit into my budget. I never felt pressured to close the deal but my visit did not drag on. He helped me out and went above and beyond to make my buying experience the best I have ever had. This is one of the sleaziest of dealers I've met to date. They pulled the classic "bait n switch". In a phone conversation the salaeperson solemny promised that the 2012 Nissan Maxima SV model that I was looking for available was available on the lot in many colors. When I arrived at the showroom, not even 15 minutes later, I was told that they had other models available but the model I wanted was no where to be found but could be ordered in the 2013 model.

The sale staff took very good care of me from the moment I walked in. All sales staff was busy at first, but someone immediately came to me, introduced himself and told me I would be taken care of in a few minutes and showed me to a seat. Within three minutes, the sales representative came back with an associate and told me he had made arrangements for me and I would not have to wait. The sales rep assigned to me was knowledgeable and worked to be sure that I got the car I wanted. I would definitely return to the dealer.

Good morning, my overall experience is that this has been the best experience that I have ever had. This is my third new car in my life and my 7th car including used vehicles. I would recommend this dealership to anyone because first, They get you what you want and do not hesitate to waste your time if they cannont help you. There are so many choices and consideration to your needs. I appreciate the assistance with the time they take to explain and to go over all the details and make you feel comfortable to call back if there is a problem. I everyone that I came in contact with the experience of buying my new car, Desmond, Carlos P and finance (Carl) I appreciate there Customer Service was professional, patient and most of all Efficient. Me and my husband planned to share this with our family and friends to let them know that Garden City Nissan is not a dealer that is only concerned about the sell. Excellent job appreciate all the help from these three gentlemen, Thank you once again for getting me into to a reliable and safe vehicle.

Working with Anton, Rob, and Carlos was such a pleasure. Together they make such a great team. I never felt rushed or pressured. Anton made it really easy to pick my car, specifically which one i wanted to choose. He never rushed me, he always gave me time to think. Rob was also gave me so many options and helped make me feel like he was going to work with me to get me in my new 2013 Altima. Carlos only sealed the deal. He really took his time to set up my Bluetooth and teach me the inner workings of my new car. Buying my new car was easy and enjoyable. I will always be a Nissan driver.

My mother just purchased a new 2013 Nissan Altima from DEVON. I went along to help my mother pick out her car and from start to finish DEVON was truly fantastic. He was very informative and caring for my mothers needs in her Altima. She wanted the S but the Value of the SV was great. She loves the back up monitor and it wouldn't have been possible without the salesman DEVON's help. I tip my hat to DEVON and the rest of the friendly staff at Garden City Nissan for a job well done.

Not being too tech savvy, he was very patient with my husband and me as he explained all the features and very kindly answered our questions (even if he had already went thru those details ). He was even nice enough to ask me what radio stations I listened to and then programmed them into the radio for me. He showed me how the valet key works, the back up camera and all other features I wasn't familar with. He asked us if we had any other questions for him and the only thing I could think of was "can you come home with me and ride around in the car with us". He assured us that if we needed any help or had any other questions about the operation of the car, he was only a phone call away and would walk us through the steps. He made our leasing experience a very pleasant one and it was greatly appreciated by both my husband and myself. S

They both answered everyone of my several questions. I suffered from anxiety going into this process I was anxious, nervous and worried about so many things. Carlos and Freddy were very calming and helped me feel much better. They are both great guys.

Told them our situation and where we stood. Their manipulative sales personal got us on over 4000 dollars worth of nonsense extras and now we stuck paying this because they wanted to make an extra dollar off us. So now not only are we in worse state then we were before entering garden city nissan but now they have made times even worse. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE.

I had a great experience buying my new car....although the process was long and tiring, the people were great. My sslesperson Mel helped me pick the perfect car, love my Altima and the customer service guy was awesome. I have purchased many cars in my life but I always figure them out myself and sometimes I never learn. Before I left the dealership Carlos explained every detail of the car to me. He set up my navigation, bluetooth, even my radio and I actually understand all the features of the car. I would definitely recommend Nissan of Garden City and Carlos and Mel especially.

I had a fantastic experience at this dealer. I went in to get my first new car and Victor, my sales rep, was fantastic with showing me the cars I wanted to see, and answering all questions without hesitation. He was focused in on making sure I knew what I was doing so I could make the right choice.Dan Garcia, my finance rep, was friendly and kind and made sure I understood exactly what I was paying for and how my deal broke down so I would have no surprises when I looked at the bill.Carlos P, my customer service rep, was extremely helpful and courteous. He showed me the ins and outs of the fun parts of my new car. He was very patient as I asked numerous questions and his knowledge seemed to have no limits. I would definitely recommend them to a friend, stranger, enemy...anyone I can come across

My husband went in to the Garden City Nissan dealership to trade in our previous Nissan for a new one. He came home raving about a young man named Carlos and how helpful he was in closing a deal. I neglected to give my husband my key to the old car and we had to return there today to submit the key. I had the extreme pleasure of meeting Carlos myself and now understood why my husband had such wonderful things to say about this young man. He helped me program my cell phone because I was unable to figure out what I was doing wrong. He explained (to me) how to use the navigation system, even though he had spent time doing that for my husband just yesterday. He was patient and professional and extremely helpful. I would definitely return to Garden City and ask for Carlos to assist us in the future. It was a very positive experience.

Ian was a no pressure guy right from the start. He had personality which seems to be rare amongst car sales people. Ian was the only sales person that had me test drive first before crunching numbers. you would think that would be standard, but NO. I did a lot of homework and legwork Ian at Nissan of Garden City is the best! Carlos P. did a great job familiarizing me with my vehicle! Simon made the negotiating quick and painless.

Nissan of Garden City is a great place to buy your new car. If you are a first time buyer, like me, the whole experience is comfortable, full of ease, all your questions are answered, and everything is explained to you. The staff are so friendly, understanding, and take great care of you! They definitely try their absolute best to do the best deal for you, and they get things done in a timely manner. Working with all the awesome people there definitely was my favorite part of the whole experience. Overall, I enjoyed my experience, and I am truly in love with my new Nissan car! I look forward to going back to Nissan of Garden City every few months to get all my car maintenance and service done there (it's included for free). Thank you Nissan of Garden City!

May I also add that he is extremely patient and a very down to earth friendly person. I am also very happy and pleased with with Carlos, he took his time step by step to show my husband and I all the features of the new car. He even programed all my music stations for me right then and there! My husband and I are very pleased with Nissan of Garden City and will be recomending them to our family and friends!

This is my third time leasing a car from Nissan of Garden City. Out of all three times this was the absolute best experience I have had there. Mel was extremely friendly and met all the needs and requirements I wanted for my lease payment and options in my vehicle. Carlos P. was the customer service rep. and he was excellent. He went over all the options in my vehicle and showed me how to use them. Rob M. went over all of my paperwork with me and was extremely friendly and polite. I was very pleased with the customer service this time around. I did not feel pressured or scammed into leasing a new vehicle while returning my current lease. I was out of the dealership in record time as everyone who I met with was very courteous of my time. A++++++++++++++

Ian was very helpful and patient while I was looking at cars. I was interested in purchasing or leasing a car for the first time, and Ian spent the time to go over the different opportunities with me, and worked with me to find the car I could afford with all of the accessories that I wanted. I am very happy with my new Nissan Rogue! Carlos was very helpful when showing me how to setup and use my new car. I definitely would have had trouble figuring out the navigation setup and bluetooth for my phone, but Carlos did everything before we even left the dealer. I was very pleased with the customer service and the friendliness of the staff. They made my first car shopping experience great!

This is our 6th experience with Nissan of Garden City and as always, we had a very positive experience. Stephon worked with me to get me exactly what I wanted, in price, color and options. Sarah was very professional and explained everything I was signing. Carlos was very thorough and informative when he sat with me in my new car and explained its features. He set up my bluetooth and set some favorite radio stations for me. He also told me I could call him anytime with any questions I might have. We will be back next year!

Nissan Garden City has absolutely NO reason to "make up" any reviews...Their customer service is exemplary and can't be compared..Shawn Peterson was the best ever!.. an amazing salesperson..attentive..patient..efficient and went above and beyond for me..My credit situation was not the best..but he worked along with the finance department and I drove out with a brand new Altima..no money down..and a lease!!!..I love this place..and I will be going back without a doubt!! Also let me say this...being rated #1 in the country iis no small feat and not easily maintained...but I was treated by the staff as if I was their "one and only customer" ..it doesn't get any better..Love you guys!!Special thanks to:Carlos PeraltaRobert -FinanceRoosevelt - Store Sales manager The Service Dept

I purchased a pre-owned vehicle. It was on a holiday weekend and the service center was closed on Monday. Mr. Cox gave me an official I.O.U. service form with the different services that were needed to make the sale. The service department did not honor it and I had to argue and drop my truck off 3 times before it was completed. I still had to pay out of pocket. The "extended wrap" coverage is a scam. It costs almost 3,000 and they work it in the sales contract so you can't distinguish how much you paid.THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT BECAUSE BY LAW, IF YOU DECIDE TO SELL THE VEHICLE, THE DEALERSHIP IS SUPPOSED TO REIMBURSE YOU THE PRORATED DIFFERENCE. BECAUSE THEY DO NOT DISTINGUISH IT ON THE CONTRACT, YOU CANNOT PROVE THAT YOU ACTUALLY PURCHASED IT AND THEY ARE ABLE TO SCAM THE CUSTOMER OUT OF MONEY. THANKS TO DANIEL GARCIA... THE SHADY FINANCE OFFICER.

I went to Nissan of garden city and delt with a salesguy named Tony. I originally came in the store looking at a used Altima and I drove out in a brand new Altima. I couldnt believe how much of a savings I received with the new car not to mention they got me low financing. I had one of the best car buying experiences. Not only was Tony great but I also delt with a man named Carlos who went over the entire car with me again! I love the way they do business and I have no doubt in my mind that I will be back when its time for another car.

I have absolutely zero complaints about this place. I stopped by just to get some information on the 2012 Maxima and ended up taking three test drives. Freddy was very patient with me and made sure I saw all the different packages the Maxima came with. Steve, the finance manager made me an offer I couldn't refuse so I ended up driving off the lot in a brand new 2012 Maxima SV. I couldn't be any happier with my purchase.

Nissan of Garden City is the best!! Jose was extremely helpful in helping me pick out my first new car. Not only was he was very informative, but very patient in helping me learn the pros and cons of financing and leasing. He even gave me free oil changes for the life of the car!! Overall, I would recommend visiting Nissan of Garden City before any dealership, as you would only be wasting your time in trying to find a "good deal." I visited other dealerships on the Island, even New Jersey, and none of them were able to get me the numbers I wanted. Today, I am the proud owner of my 2012 Altima Coupe. Thank You Nissan of Garden City!

I have very bad credit. I was in a jam and my 2001 altima broke down. I walked into nissan of garden city and I was very concerned about whether or not I would get approved. I wondered if I did get approved. Would I be able to afford it. what would my payment be. Could I afford it. would I even get approve. What would my interest rate be? Well I felt compared to tell someone what they were able to do for me. I got a loan for 0% and more importantly M:y payment was less than I expected. And I was able drive my new car home.

I dealt with Belma and Shawn Peterson who gave me a quote over the phone. I adivsed them I was not looking to negotiate and I would buy a vehicle on the terms I was looking for. Shawn was able to meet my needs and delivered on his word and as result this is why I decided to give this review and the ratings I did. It was a painless and straight forward transaction. I drove off the lot in 2 hours with 2012 Nissan Maxima from this dealership. I have purchased a vehicle from this dealership before and both experience's have proven to been a sucess. I adivise anyone to shop at this dealership and you will get quality service and the best deal.

It was a pleasure dealing with Belma and Shawn. They made sure that my experience purchasing a vehicle was a pleasurable one. The ratings that I have granted this dealership are a result of me being able to drive off the lot that day with the exact vehicle I wanted for the price I wanted. In addtion, the customer service that was provided by the employees I dealt with made it a painless transaction. If you are looking for a new car you should visit this dealership or else you are cheating yourself out of a great buying experience.

I brought in my 2011 Maxima for the $8.95 special oil change -- they give you a coupon for this when you take delivery for your first oil change. I called them for an appointment late Friday morning of April 27th because I was going to be nearby and asked for a 2:00pm same day appointment which they said was fine. Try that with another dealer or even a local gas station. I arrived at 1:49PM and the valet took my car. Marcello wrote up my order and said he would have the work done within an hour. I noted that in addition to the $8.95 coupon oil change the work order also listed a multi-point inspection, a tire inspection, and a brake inspection. I asked at the pick-up window how much additional those would be, since other dealerships charge for the extra time, and the ladies told me they were included in the $8.95. Several people were in the waiting lounge [which served free coffees and has nice couches and an HDTV] so I figured it would be a long wait. However, just as Marcello had committed, my car was ready an hour later. Marcello was great and could not have been nicer. I have now leased two Maximas from this dealer and have been extremely pleased with both the sales and service departments. I am not related to anyone at the dealership and do not know any of them socially. I am being perfectly honest and simply cannot understand the negative reviews that they receive.

My boyfriend and I went to this showroom to get a certified car. The sales representative was nice but the manager was very rude and his language was entirely unacceptable. I did not want to spend another second in the showroom. It was my first time buying a car so obviously I had some questions and I had my heart set on an Altima but the manager made us feel very uncomfortable. It was a real bad experience.

The salesman was rude, and we got up and left. The manager, witnessing the exchange, requested that I return, and deal with him directly. I was looking for a specific Color of Frontier in the upprrmost Model, on the last day of a promotion. He beat another dealer's price on a car he did not have, but assured me he could get and honor the promotion. Of course all he did was allow the promotion to expire and prevent my purchase from a competitor. Then he refused to answer calls and was abusive when I returned to get my deposit. I spent an extra thousand dollars at a competitor the following week and had to fight them and involve American Express go get my deposit back. The dealer is a theif and has no integrity

Purchased two vehicles and traded in one. They changed ommitted paperwork at the end of the day (they handed me a white 5 x 8 envelope) and there was no paperwork stating the "value" of my trade in (that we agreed upon). They owed me $800.00 balance on the trade in (after we applied 3200 to down payments), and said they would give me the balance when we handed in the Title (I didn't know I was going to buy the cars that day so I didn't bring it with me). When we brought the title in two days later Victor Paguay said it would take 3 weeks to process check. Now six weeks later and several calls later he states there's no such money due me. Additionally, there were fees added to the agreement that were not discussed (if I do not "buy" (not lease another car from them) the car after the lease is up I have to pay 395.00). We also had paperwork that he changed manually on the bottom and that is not in our paperwork.

BEWARE!! WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER!!! THINK TWICE ABOUT THIS DEALERSHIP!!! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE POOR SERVICE DEPARTMENT!! THEY EVEN HANG UP PHONES ON YOU AND THEIR PRICES ARE ALL LIES!! PRE-OWNED VEHICLES COME WITH ISSUES AND THEY WILL NOT TAKE OWNERSHIP OF THEM!!This dealership sold me an SUV with mechanical problems and refuses to exchange it. I financed a $32K Armada in late October 2011. Five days after my purchase, I had to bring it into the service department because of knocking sounds etc. The SUV spent nearly 2weeks in their shop and required me to get a rental car. Yes, the dealership paid for it, but this was an inconvenience to me as the clock on my monthly payments had already begun and I didnt have use of my SUV which I am paying for. After spending several days in their shop I was told that there was major work needed change the entire drive shaft and rear differential - Why was this not found at the time of prepping?? I had spent many hours at the time of purchase because Nissan garden City claimed that the SUV was undergoing extensive prepping for safety measures. I was patient and quite glad that the dealership was interested in my safety. I had to bring the SUV back about 2 weeks thereafter for another knocking sound and because of excessive idling and vibration when the SUV is in gear. It took for three different mechanics, all top mechanics at that, to check the vehicle and find nothing. How can you find nothing wrong with a vehicle that is making a loud humming sound??? They heard the noise I was complaining but just didnt feel like fixing anything.Ok, I decided to wait it out another week until the humming noise and shaking vibrations became excessive. Now for the third time at the service department and only having the vehicle at this point for 6 weeks, I brought it back to have the shop manager check it himself and this idiot smiled at me and laughed. What the hell is so funny??? I complained to the service manager who was so disrespectful to me, yes he yelled, but he sent yet another mechanic, now the 5th mechanic in the service department to test drive along with myself to hear and feel the problems we are complaining about since the others were not confident enough. This mechanic told us he heard everything and agreed there was a problem with the mechanisms. He went into the service managers office to tell him the same, but the service manager closed out our ticket and had the receptionist put on the ticket that there was no finding. Now irate, I went into the service managers office and demanded an answer to this ridiculous finding! He replied that the space is too small to say that there is a mechanical issue. He also continued on to say that if the department attempts to fix the problem, it will only make it worse. Doesnt that mean then that the problem cannot be fixed??? I made the service manager write the same in his own handwriting on the service ticket. Immediately thereafter I went to the sales department to bring forth my complaints since the vehicle was now in my possession for only 6 weeks. I was greeted by sales managers who insisted that they would swap me out of the defective vehicle as soon as my title arrives. No worries I was told by them. I went home believing this. A few days or so later, I received in the mail and offer to swap out of my vehicle but when I called to take action on it, I was told that I have to wait on my title first. Meanwhile, I kept in contact with the sales manager that gave me this promise of doing the swap and he assured me times over that he will take care of my needs once the title arrives. The title arrives finally on January 13, 2012. The sales manager is contacted and an appointment is scheduled to come in on January 16th. Just bring in your title we are told again.WE WERE LIED TO!! THERE IS NO SWAP YOUR VEHICLE TO MAKE IT RIGHT BECAUSE WE SOLD YOU A DEFECTIVE VEHICLE. A CREDIT APPLICATION WAS SHOVED IN MY FACE. THESE PEOPLE HAD THE NERVE NOT ONLY TO MAKE ME RUN MY CREDIT BUT TO TELL ME THAT MY VEHICLE THAT I NOW HAVE FOR 2 MONTHS HAS NEGATIVE EQUITY AND I AM NOT ABLE TO USE IT FOR A TRADE IN AT THIS TIME. HOW STUPID ARE WE??? IM NOT HERE FR A TRADE-IN!! IM HERE TO GET OUT OF THE DEFECTIVE VEHICLE THAT WAS SOLD TO ME IN OCTOBER 2011 AND THAT YOUR SERVICE DEPARTMENT CANNOT EVEN FIX THESE SERIOUS ISSUES.NISSAN OF GARDEN CITY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS BECAUSE THEY ONLY WANT THE SALE = MONEY. IF YOUR CAR OR TRUCK IS DEFECTIVE ONCE YOU DRIVE OFF THEIR PRE-OWNED CERTIFIED LOT, YOU ARE DAMNED SCREWED BECAUSE THE MECHANICS CANNOT FIX THE PROBLEMS AND THE MANAGEMENT WILL ONLY CALL YOU AND FURTHER PISS YOU OFF BY HANGING UP THE PHONE IN YOUR EAR. THEY DID THAT TO ME TODAY!!!

Change Price of car, agreed upon. Charge for extende warranty, but hide it in sales price. Finance with interest first, principal last, more payments at higher amounts. Staff gives you run around, nobody calls back, ever!!!!

My father and I had came to buy a new 2012 Nissan Rogue at the Garden City location. I liked the car but they did not have the color I wanted. The dealer, Victor Paguay, was trying to sell me different colors they had on their lot, but I was not liking the colors. When I asked if they could locate the color, they told me how silver(the color I wanted) is so boring and each time I denied a car he would try to sell, I could hear him growl, grunt, and mumble to himself. He finally agree to locate the car but in return we had to put a hold for $500.00 on our credit card-which my father gave. When we heard about the recall, I decided not to get the car. I went back and told them to cancel everything and to credit back our $500. At first they were forcing us to take the car and lowered the price. When they realized it was not about the price and it was a safety concern for us, they agreed to credit us back by 12/19/11. They did not credit us back. I called and spoke to Victor Paguay, who lied and told me because of the holiday time, it probably did not show up yet at the bank. I then spoke to a manager, Roosevelt, who told me that I confused my "Mondays" and that they were going to credit me on 12/26/11. I asked to be credited right away- the time I called was at 1:45pm. Roosevelt then goes on to tell me, that "the girls in the office who does those transactions" are closed- meanwhile I was told the first day we agreed to cancel, those "girls" are there from 9-5. I was told again by Roosevelt, that I was given the wrong information. He said he'll take care of it by 12/26/11. It has still not been done. I called and left a message for Roosevelt, which, they still have not responded to. My father called today and reached, Victor Paguay, who told him again he will do it on Monday 1/2/11. We are going in circles with these people. They are untrustworthy, and unreliable. NOT PROFESSIONAL at all. I'm glad I did not purchase a vehicle with them! My advice, stay away from Garden City Nissan.

High pressure sales. Watch your final price. Did not get what I was promised. Garage leaves much to be desired. Appointments mean nothing to these people.

I see several negative reviews about this dealer so I feel I compelled to write about my two very positive leasing experiences in 2010 and 2011. In August, 2010 a friend of mine recommended them to me because he got a great deal on an Altima and my Honda lease was ending. Roosevelt Williams was my excellent and extremely knowledgeable sales rep and we worked out pricing that put me into a 39 month MaximaSV lease at a very attractive rate. The entire process including negotiations, insurance card, and delivery was accomplished in a few short hours and the car was prepped and immaculate. They also have someone who sits in the car with you upon delivery and spends as much time as you need explaining how everything operates. He even checks to insure that your spare is in the trunk, sets up your cell phone blue tooth, clock, service timer, makes sure they gave you a free full tank of gas, etc. Then last month, September, 2011, after only 13 months into my 39 month lease, they sent me a letter with a promotion to exchange my used 2010 Maxima for a brand new 2011 Maxima. Of course I was certain that this had to be some sort of trick and that I was going to waste my time driving over. But I couldn't resist the temptation. This time I worked with Dwayne Evans who was also terrific [Roosevelt Williams has been deservedly promoted] and, after some brief negotiating and a couple of hours of new and plate and insurance transfer paperwork, I drove away in a brand new 2011 MaximaSV with a full tank of gas -- over $50 of premium grade. Because I selected some additional options such as the monitor package, my monthly rate increased, and of course I had to pay DMV transfer fees, inspection fee, $12.50 NY tire fee, and some dealer paperwork fees, but I could not have been more pleased. I told them I would do this every year. After all, they took my used dirty car with its worn tires, dings and dents, a couple of scraped alloys, and with hardly any gas in the tank and put me into a brand new 2011. I spoke to Nissan corporate leasing department today and they confirmed that the dealer absorbed the fees to close out my 2010 lease at no cost to me and that there was no charge for the dings and dents on the car and that the car was already picked up and sent to auction. What more can I say? Oh, they even schedule you for their $8.95 express oil change special.Having bought and leased cars so many times, I can say that I do not hesitate to recommend Nissan of Garden City.

I went to dealership in Aug 2011 because there is some end of the year sale going on ,with 0% APR and $500 cash back.Sales man Richard Cox dealt with us and agreed on a price which include tax and other fess.He went away when we are signing the contract with finance manager,DANIEL GARCIA.He offered us the extended warranty worth $2000 ,which we agreed to buy.then he ask us to wait for an hour for preparation of papers, then after one hr we were asked to signed the contract without receipt of $2000 warranty, instead he showed that amount as taxes and administrative fees.he just hand over the contract which states the car price $2000 more than the agreed price saying its meant for extended warranty. On persistent query he mentioned that just see the total money you are paying don't read the figures in between.Next day we were given the contract paper and then i came to know that its all a scam as my warranty is given $0 value on paper ,so i cant cancel that either!later i found out that the same warranty is available for $800 ,for which i was charged $2000 and over that i was not given receipt ,so i wont come back for cancellation or refund!its such an unfair business practice ,i cant believe how they can do this.i keep on contacting them but nothing has worked out for me !

This is the worst dealership with which I have ever dealt. At first, they give you a great deal on what you think is a nice, new car. Then they start adding in the sneaky extras. We had to pay $500 for a set of keys because our brand new car only came with one set of keys. When I sat down with the finance manager, he wanted to lie on the credit application and list my employer from 7 years ago because I had been a stay at home mom. He wanted me to sign blank papers because he wanted to fill them out the following day. After we purchased the vehicle, they discontinued the free oil change program. They discontinued the program where your car gets washed for free when you bring it in for any service. The gas tank actually fell INTO the car when we were filling it up one day and service claimed that it wasnt covered under the warranty. We had to pay over $1,000 for them to release the car and Nissan issued us a check after we complained. One time we activated the remote start that the dealership installed and the car went into lockdown mode and would not open. I WOULD NOT recommend this dealership or their inferior vehicles. Take your hard-earned money and spend it elsewhere.

After purchasing my 2008 Altima Coupe from Nissan of Garden City in March I had an issue with the brakes right away. I brought it in for service and was told that it was the spacers and that they were fixed. After taking my car home I immediately noticed that they were still squeaking. I called time & time again looking for the service manager Sean but never got a call back. After calling 4 times on my 5th call they told me he no longer worked there and there was a new service manager. When he called me back he had an attitude and told me that to much time had passed it was now July and that I could bring it in but that he couldn't guarantee me no charge even though the issue began the day I bought the car. When I reached out to my salesman Trevor I told him the issue and he was apologetic and told me he would call me back the next day and I still have not heard from him, 26 days later. I scheduled my car for service on 7/26 and told them the issue...brakes and now it was making a noise in the front of the car. When I dropped off the car I dealt with a man named Teddy and was told it would be ready the next day. When I called the next day to find out the status with my customer service representative Teddy it took me 3 phone calls and messages to have him call me back. When I finally got in touch with him bc I called a 4th time he said the brakes had a hole in the reservoir and that it would be ready for pick up later that day. When I asked what the noise was in the front of the car he said...oh I forgot about that we'll check it out now and call you back. AGAIN no phone call back so I called him AGAIN to find out the status. I live an hour and a half from this dealership so after making 90% of the trip when I called to tell them I would be later than expected they told me it needed to stay another day and that they had a rental car set up for me. When I got there the rental car they set up for me was to be paid BY ME with my own credit card which was clearly not going to happen bc he told me he had a service car waiting for me. After this I went to the front showroom to see about getting a service car even after Teddy told me there were none a man named Mark found one and told me they needed to clean it and it would be a half hour. TWO and a half hours later my boyfriend & I were still waiting and when I asked them they clearly had forgotten about me and told me that it was really dirty and would be done soon. A half hour later I had the service car. The next day I called back to find out the status of my car AGAIN bc no one had called me all day and Teddy finally told me it needed a new transmission but I could come and pick it up. When I got there I asked Teddy how long it would be for the transmission & he told me that it was on back order and that I should call them in 10 days to find out its status. When I asked why I should call them about something they ordered he stated that it was just better for me to call them and find out bc they have a lot of cars they deal with. Exactly 10 days later I called about the status of my transmission and Teddy told me that it was not in and still on back order bc there was a tsunami in Japan and thats where the transmission came from. I was amazed at the answer. He told me again to call back on the 15th and he would let me know if it was in and told me the car was ok to drive. When I asked what they would do if the car broke down bc I drive an hour to and from work he said they really couldn't do much but AGAIN provide me with a rental car at my own expense. I am a 29 year old woman but needed to ask my parents opinion of this bc it didn't sound right to me. My mom has a friend who is a salesman at the dealership so she called on him to look in to whatever the issue here was. When he called her back he said the service manager would look in to the issue and get back to her. TWO days later the manager had still not called. When he finally did he had no idea there was an issue to begin with. He told her he would look in to it and call her right back...again the call back was not until the next day. His conclusion was that the transmission MAY OR MAY NOT have been ordered he wasn't sure....how do they not know if it was ordered or not!!! This was on 8/19 23 days after the car was initially brought in for service. Today is now 8/23 and we STILL have not heard anything back about the status of my transmission being ordered or when I can bring it in to be fixed. I have now brought my car to Nissan of Riverhead on sat 8/20 and that day they figured out the issue with the car telling me that the car does NOT need a new transmission that it needs parts for the transmission and they could have it done this week. The service dept in Riverhead told me that Nissan would NOT have given the ok for a new transmission bc it did not need one and that Nissan of Garden City would have known that if they hooked it up to the diagnostic machine. I saw the print out myself on what it needs and was AMAZED at what had happened here with my new car. I would NEVER bring my car back to Nissan of Garden City or purchase anything from them ever again. They have totally turned me off to my car that I pay for every month and made me wish I never did business with any Nissan to begin with.

I got ripped of with interest rates.I was charged high interest of 19%.They took advantage of my vulnarability of not so high credit score. They made me sign in blank papers.I tried to refinance to lower monthly payments but banks are turning me down because my L T V is 105% (because of high interest rate charged.)I stopped payment of my deposite to settle this matter eventually. But I have been receiving threatning phone calls and text messages of criminal nature from the dealer, which I have saved.I am a heart patient with multiple hertattachs and a cardiac arrest and I did not want to confront them directly. I fear danger to my life,If things go out of control.Hence this letter.Espcially after repeated threats.(Very dagerous and unethical business practice)I am bound to default on my monthly payments which is due on on 29th.$525/00.At this rate I could have purchased a new Bmw or Mercedes !!!Ineed help to sort out this problem amicably. Some one from Nissan please contact. Please e mail me.At this stage I am afraid to give my phone number, afraid of reprisal.

This dealership uses an outside company to send emails and get leads on customers from the internet. The only problem is that while they have an opt-out option on each email sent to you, it does nothing. I tried several times to opt-out from any firther emails and I continued to get more emails. Finally, I sent an email to the dealership (Nissan of Garden City) and told them that essentially they are sending me spam since their opt-out link diesn't stop any emails from coming. I told them to get me off their email list since spam is illegal and not providing an opt-out option makes their emails spam. Their response was an email from Alisa Nuhanovic saying she would be in touch with me about buying a new car (not only do I not want a new car, but after reading about this dealer on this site, I would NEVER buy anything from them, not ever). Perhaps their internet rep, Alisa Nuhanovic, should learn how to read an email. These people are to be avoided.

my salesman is great. his name sean and he always has time for me. i am not very happy with my car but the salesman should receive some kind of praise from his boss. he remembers me everytime i go in and if i need something he always has time and makes sure it is done at particular moment. in the service dept there is a young lady named Schantel and she has been helpful on more than one occasion. today i called for some information and she wouldn't let me get off the phone untill she had the answer for me. that is a job well done by her.

Sean so helpful to me when I had discrepancies on a lease return bill. He calmed me down and went out of her way to fix the issue for me. The whole thing was resolved in less than an hour. Wonderful dealership and excellent employee. Nissan is a great company and a pleasure to deal with.

My 1995 Nissan Maxima is not normally something I service at the dealership. Recently I received a phone call from Nissan of Garden City informing me of a $9 special that they were running for oil changes. Since that's actually less than I pay at a local mechanic, I scheduled an appointment. I arrived to find the service department to be quite busy, which made me rather nervous, but I proceded with the service anyway. I was greeted almost immediately by Sarah, who had a bubbly enthuastic personality. I sat on the couch in the waiting room and it seemed that by the time I had opened my magazine, they were calling my name. My first instinct was that they needed additional information, but it was actually to inform me that the vehicle was complete. They had topped off my fluids and even placed that little sticker in the corner of my window reminding me when to come back!

1-Poor customer treatmentie-massive use of profanity (Negative words)to customers2-They admitted customer satisfaction is not their top priority3-Not keeping word, even with written contract.(changing prices and adding other fees without letting the customer know) 4-Arguing with customer when we ask for explanation about hidden charges.5-Car that I did the paper work for, and the car that I was going to pick up was totally different. So I had to cancel the insurance and spend time and money changing the insurance.6- Promised a navigation if a purchase was made, but backed off from the offer when all papers were signed.7-Lie-Nance manager(Finance) lied about APR, credit score, and tried to mislead with buying the 2000 dollar warranty8-Again, Massive use of indecent words and insulting customers about our work, what we do, and how we tried to bargain to get hidden charges out of bill made us leave the dealership very well disappointed and hurt.9- Managers were more focused on how to piss of the customer rather than satisfying them.----Im not saying all the workers are bad, but try to avoid these guys especially LIE-NANCE people. Infact try to avoid Nissan Of Garden City at all cost.

These guys are so anxious to get you in a new car that they will do anything including lie about programs that do not apply to you. I returned a 2007 and leased a 2010. My lease was not up until August and they said a "pull ahead" or "pull forward" program would cover up to my last 3 months of payments. I am now liable for the last 2 payments for a vehicle that I don't even have anymore. The program did not apply to me even though they told me it did. They kept me there for 4 hours and ripped me off for close to $600 in lease payments on top of hidden charges on the new lease which was another $600. Stay far away from this dealership. They should be wearing masks!!

Made me, my wife and 2 toddlers wait for an hour and a half while they search for the keys to a car advertised on autotrader. First they couldn't find the keys, then when we suggested we should see the car from the outside, they claimed they couldn't find the car. After being polite while waiting all this time I let them know that i was going to take my kids for lunch and they should call me when they find the car. My wife had become annoyed at being told "just gimme a second" for the 100th time and put her foot down, asking the manager if the car actually existed or are we wasting our time. So right before I left, I asked if I should be expecting a call or not and the MANAGER told me that I should have "control over my woman". TERRRIBLE PLACE....DON'T GO THERE.

I had no issues leasing my car here... They were helpful, quick and delivered on time. Then, I went for my 1st oil change (that was at no cost) and I waited for it. 3 and a 1/2 hours later, I got it back... I went in for a recall on my car, intending to leave it there. After finding out there were in fact THREE recalls, I was told they would call me when it was ready. When I called to follow up, I was on the phone with idiots who had no sense of customer service before I spoke to Charlie who was trying to help me... The employees also laughed at me when I told them I would never wait for my car to be serviced- they chuckle at a 3 and a 1/2 hr oil change.... No more service at this place- free or not!!!!!

This dealership is the absolute worst! Please please please do not go near this dealership! I have been the victim of the biggest scam possible. They go to any and all extents-- lying to make a sale. Their practices are so unethical- they are truly the most ruthless people I've ever encountered in my life!!! I can't stress that any more, how disgusting their behavior is. They give a quote then to be faced with an extrodinary amount on the contracts, doubling what was originally discussed with severely different terms than agreed. They will deceive you, con you, and scam you! Please pass the word to anyone you know looking to buy a car. Reputations are upheld for a reason, and unfortunately I've learned first hand that there is truth to it! Car salesman are the biggest jerks and the conduct the dirtiest business. If one person stays away from this dealership- that is one less person burned by their supremely disgusting sales practices!!

I was at Nissan of Garden City for 6 hours on Saturday, 09/05/2009. I negotiated the price with the sales person Richard Cox. We agreed upon $26,100 for Nissan Maxima 3.5 S (base model) with the rear spoiler. The rear spoiler was an add on (which would otherwise cost about $400). They gave me a "We Owe" receipt so I can schedule an appointment at a later date and have the rear spoiler installed. I was happy with the deal but when I went into the Finance managers office, the finance manager (I can't seem to recall his name) slapped additional $1050 in some BS fees which I was totally unaware of. Breakdown was something like this, $200 for doc fee which sounds legit, cost of the car went up by $250 because according to the dealer, he was not obligated to honor the labor day sale. After arguing for like 30 mins he decided to give me $250 instead of $500 labor day cash. Another $600 in finance fees because I chose 0 APR. This fee turned out to be a BS fee. No other dealer charged this fee. When I looked at the paperwork, this $600 was added to the cost of the car.Total cost of the car was $27,150 (about $1050 more than the agreed upon price) at 0 APR which I still thought was a good deal. But thats not the point. Point is, the sales person, Richard took us to the Finance Manager's office making me believe that I will be paying $26,100(Plus taxes and registration) but by the time I walked out of the office they charged me $1050 more than the "agreed upon" price. I did not have much time to go to another dealership and start this all over again. So, suppressing my frustration and anger, I agreed on the deal. I think the way this dealership went about the whole deal was totally unethical. My awful experience with the dealership did not just end there. One week after my purchase, I got a call from the dealership advising me that they now have the rear spoiler in stock and that I should schedule an appointment to have it installed. Since they do not provide a loaner car, I had to take a day off from work just to get this installed. Anyways, I dropped it off around 11:00 AM. Name of the service advisor was Peter. I received a call from him in the evening around 4 PM (after about 5 hours) telling me that they ordered the wrong part and that I would have to reschedule the appointment! I could not believe this. Anyways, moving on. I took up this issue with the customer relations manager, Bob Stone and they did provide me with a loaner car the second time around. I don't even wanna mention the run around they gave me to get the loaner car. In any case, I dropped off the car the night before and when I went to pick it up the next day, the rear spoiler was installed but to my horror, I was missing the rear center brake light from the rear window. When I called back the service department and asked to speak with Peter, they literally put me on hold for 25 minutes just to tell me that he will call me back. He did call me back after like 5 hours and he told me that it is illegal to drive with two rear center lights. Hence, they decided to throw my light (which I paid for BTW) in garbage!!! At that point I realized that their service department which is probably worth millions, stole my $100.00 light!!!! I guess I can still talk to some manager or something but some things are just not worth it. I am done with this dealership.STAY AWAY FROM THIS STEALERSHIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My experience with Nissan of Garden City was in a word, horrific. One of the finance managers, Jim Golden, gave me an extremely high interest rate. When I tried to negotiate this interest rate down, he proceeded to call me "sweetie" and "honey", which was incredibly demeaning. After I told him no deal, I got up to leave, and he told me "Maybe if you actually paid your bills on time, we wouldn't be having a problem". I couldn't even believe my ears. When I turned around and said he was completely unprofessional, he just sat there with a smug look on his face.DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER AND WILL DEMEAN YOUR CHARACTER RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR FACE!

Ilve been through dealerships since 18, any of them fall intwo categories, make money or make customers. I stumbled across nissan of garden city with an online ad on optimum autos. They had a very good deal with a used suv. I went to the dealership and we settled on getting the truck for the price (it was in very poor conditions) as long as parts were exchanged with our truck. That part went flawless. The crap hit the fan when a full month later they still didn't pay off the trade in note to chase. I had to show up 3 days in a row for them to finally overnight the check. We were ahead in our payments (thank god) so we incured no late fees from over due payments. Then their 'rebate' check would never come in... Came 3 more times for it too. It finally apeared at their 5 towns location and I had to pick up myself (30min drive). During this time my truck squeeked a lot, I brought it to my mechanic and we discovered that the truck had absolutely no shims on the brake pads. I inquired with the dealership (should've known better) and they said that would cost me 360 bucks for a truck that shouldve had their 140 plus pnt inspection (it was bought under extended warranty). This was also a truck that had passed insp the previous month too. I called up my friend at an infiniti dealership and he explained to me I had 90 day warranty that covered any of these problems, not to mention that a serious issue like this shouldve been covered before they put the truck for sale. I come back with this new knowledge and explain it to them, they don't budge again, saying they know nothing about it and that cars operate fine without them(so why bother makin the part?). They only got jarred when I threathened to use my lawyer to get the issue settled. All of a sudden they were ordering the parts, and they were instantly friendly. Two weeks later I get a call from svc and a mail saying the parts are in. As per usual they claim they open srv at 7am. Svc opened at 745am. Work started at 8am supposedly (yes I was the 1st one there). A full 1.5hrs later I get 'called' for a question. They don't have my parts in. No one knows anything 10mins later they come back telling me half the parts are in (they magically apeared) and that the full job will be done by days end somehow. Attrocious dealership from front to back, steer clear from this ghastly hole.

The sales department was not bad, but the service department left a bad taste in your mouth. The service technicians all appear to be in training there. the assistant manager was disrespectful and needed a course in customer service. In 20 years of taking my cars to dealerships for repair this was the first time I have ever lost my temper with anyone. They would have to start over from scratch with almost their entire staff. The only helpful person there was Herman. He should be the one to teach the rest, including the manager and assistant manager, how to be honest and respectful to the customers.

My friend bout a car from this delaership about a 8 months ago and was told that she could have her friends name removed from the lease after 6 months of good payment history and that the payments would ebe less. Well, that was not the case and my friend needed to get her friends name of the lease so i decided to be a good friend and use my name and credit to her with the problem. Several times times we went there. the first time my friend was told they would put thru the refinace paperwork and that it would take about 2 weeks to get back to her with the information from the bank letting her know that she was approved or declined. Needless too say that never happend and that was supposed to be Ellen doint that. The second time i went with my friend and we were told that they dont do refinance and that we should go thru a credit union on our own to get a better rate for the lease. unfortunately that did not pan out becuase I was not related to my friend. The third time, i went with my friend and the cosigner that originally had on the lease and we managed to finally get someone who appeared to know what they were doing. it only took three hours of waiting and being told another 5 minutes after every 30 minute interval. the person helping us was Jose A., which i must say he was very professional but did not know how to estimate time at all. my friend and i filled out the paperwork and waited with anticipation and finally were told that everything went thru and it should only be another 5 minutes. after 30 minutes had passed we were told that the paper work to be done under my name first becuase my friends credit score was not high enough. And then 30 minutes later we are eing told that the payment are going to go up 50 dollars mnore per month. Sadly my friend needed to do this to get the first cosigner of the lease but what we did not know and failed to read, becuase after waiting three hours you just want to leave, the terms of the new agreement. No one bothers to read the paperwork that is being signed becuase you are so tired of waiting, which i thing that they doi intentionally. we signed a new contract and we were not told that care now will be 352.74/month for 71 months at 7.19% interest. In addition to that, Jose told us that he was throwing in a service agreement which he told us was for free oil changes for the entire time that we had the car. I thought that was really nice of him but come to find out that he added an extended service agreement for $1500. I will be wrinting more on this since i will going back to the dealer ship to find out why there is an extended service agreement which i did not ask for nor did my friend and why the rate is high if my credit sciore is better then hers and why a nissa sentra 2008 would cost 25,000 if 8 payments were already made on it. The original lease was costing her 13,000 something plus the finance charge bring the total cost close to 20,000. And now the new cost is 5,000 with a new finace charge and a higher rate and higher monthly payment. Never, ever trust someones word at any dealership....read...if they rush you for a signature then walk away......... always ask more then one once or twice what it is that you are signing especially if you dont understand it clearly.

This was the worst experience ever. They called the quote we got from Baron Nissan a lie and told my husband he should learn how to do math. They wanted $50 dollars more a month and expected 5k down whereas Baron wanted $0. The manager got in my husbands face as we were leaving and said "oh this is going to be fun" as he tried to start a physical altercation with my husband. The people who run the dealership are classless, uneducated jokes who pray on the uneducated consumer. A word of wisdom, do your research if you plan on shopping there. We were there to buy two cars that day, instead we walked out laughing and went to Baron Nissan where Jared took good care of us and gave us the price we were told up front knowing we were going elsewhere to shop around. Do not go to Garden City Nissan unless you want to run the risk of being assulted by an over aggressive uneducated manager who doesn't take well to no thank you. I feel bad for any woman who tries to tell this man no in a social setting. FYI - we got a fully loaded 2009 Maxima SV premium & technology package 0 down financed 63 months $616 at BARON NISSAN, GO THERE!!!!

they advertised a price for a pre owned car on the internet and they promised me that i'll get this price, but after all the promises they just overcharged me with over $2000 more then the agreed on price, i asked them a few times during the financing process why the amount financed is so much but they assured me that that's only the full amount before taking out my down payment & trade in value, and i was rushed to sign all the documents without having the ability to review them, & guess what, when i came home & i looked over at all the documents i just realised that they simply ripped me off with more then $2000, & there is no one to talk to at the dealership about it

I made an offer on an online car and they agreed to it. They said we had to take it home the same day for insurance purposes and the we would have to sign a secondary contract which held us to financing with them if I didn't return the next day with a bank check. (A deposit was taken on the car by credit card). When I returned the next day, the sales man, Ellen in Administration and the Sales Manager were not there. I was given a receipt and that's all. I didn't even get the paperwork required by N.Y. State. Here's the good part. It seems that they decided to withdraw the advertised "Certified Warranty" on the car and never told us. It never was a negotiating point nor was it mentioned as we closed the deal with the paperwork. We came back to the dealership to clear up all the uncertainty and again Ellen was not there. We were assured we could handle the rest by phone as we live quite a distance away. Days have gone by and they refuse to respond to our calls. Then the salesman inferred that perhaps there was co warranty but he couldn't say for sure because the people who could weren't taking our calls. I called their other dealership and after they checked for us, we were told that since we got the car at a good price that they withdrew the warranty and we were told. NEVER HAPPENED! I never would have bought the car without a warranty. Bottom line - they are liars.

While I loved my salesman, the rest of the staff stinks here. I got a good deal on my car, but you cannot get an answer from anyone in Customer Service for various issues. You cannot get an answer from anyone in the parts or service department for questions - I had to leave a voice message for someone to call me back and they never did. When I called a Customer Service Rep. for assistance, she reassured me she was hired to help clean up the image of the dealership and when I called her two weeks later for another issue, she no longer worked there. When you have to resort to contacting the sales rep. to get someone from the service department to call you back, something is wrong here.

I was interested in conducting some research and taking a test drive of the Nissan Rogue. I spoke with Marissa who called me and we set-up an appointment for a test drive on Wednesday 10/17 at 6:30. Before I hung up I told her I was conducting research and that I was about 1-3 months away from purchasing. Also, I asked her will there be a Rogue to test drive and she confirmed she had one for a test. She called to confirm my appointment the morning of the 17th. I arrived at the dealership at about 6:40PM to no one at the reception desk, dance music playing and the facility looked like it needed a good clean up. Finally, an employee who must have been working on a deal because he did not acknowledge me for about 5 minutes, came over. After I explained to him that I was here to meet with Marissa to take a test drive of the Rogue, Marissa miraculously could not be found. I was passed off to a Victor D. who took me to see the Rogue on the showroom floor. He explained to me some of the features and showed me around the car while asking the standard probing questions to get a feel for a deal. It appeared to be a nice vehicle and fit our family needs! As usual Victor was only interested in making a deal THAT NIGHT without a test drive because I was told that NO ROGUE'S WERE AVAILABLE FOR A TEST DRIVE!! I TOLD HIM NO TEST DRIVE NO DICUSSIONS OF A DEAL! He then asked me when I was coming back and I told him "when you have a Rogue for a test!"Victor's appearance was not professional and it seemed that his sales experience was limited. When I asked for information on the Rogue, miraculously again none was available. I asked for a business card and was told he had none and he gave me a card out of the paper shredder for a person who was purportedly his sister. He proceeded again to ask me when I was returning as he was writing his name and contact number on the back of the card and of course the question of a trade-in came up! NOTE TO NISSAN OF GARDEN CITY, VICTOR AND MARISSA -- YOU LOST A SALE!! I'M NOT RETURNING!!
