My husband and I went here after going to a few other places. After going to many dealerships, where the dealers were trying to strong arm is into buying something we didn’t want. It was refreshing to go here where they gave us the tools we needed to find the car that met our needs, was within our budget, and also gave us the space to look around the lot and talk it over privately. Gilbert was fantastic. He really worked with us to made sure we left happy. As well as Ryan. Everyone there was very nice. If I or someone I know is ever looking for car, I’m definitely referring them to this location!

Sales rep, Mason Tyson gets 5 stars in all categories. BEWARE of "Price Protection policy! Within 5 days, if you find a lower price, Norm Reeves Honda will give you the difference or buy back your vehicle. I purchased a new Honda at a "fair"--but not "good"--price, based in part on that policy. The vehicle is excellent & exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately, I discovered that you must buy an identical vehicle and provide a sales receipt/purchase order to get the promised refund. No dealership will give you that paperwork until you make a purchase. I went through Consumer Reports and received certified offers in my name from several dealerships--not acceptable. The only recourse, as suggested by Norm Reeves Honda, was to make the deal with another dealership, pay for the vehicle, bring the paperwork back to get the significant price refund, and then back out of the deal. Not right/not ethical. SO, make price comparisons before, not after you purchase!!

Perfect experience! From our first step into the dealership to leaving, they were extremely friendly and helpful. We were helped by Blaine and Michael. They gave us exactly what we wanted. Blaine showed us all the features of the car and told us everything we needed to know and Michael helped give us the deal we wanted. We negotiated for a while but at the end of it they gave us the rate and price we wanted, exactly the way we wanted it. They really do work hard to give their customers the best deal for the car they want. We even forgot a drivers license at our home and Blaine offered to drive us back to pick it up. I highly recommend buying a Honda from here! Ask for Blaine, he's very helpful.

We went in for a recall (for other than this, a perfectly running 2001 model), and decided when picking up our car to test drive a few since we were already in the market to possibly buy. We ran into Salesman Mr. Julio Luna who was most pleasant and not forward or pushy as some can be. He helped us find the perfect car and we weren't expecting to buy on this day!! He was very informative which helped us make our decision. We then worked with Mr. Boc Nguyen in finance and he was also very pleasant and pushed our paperwork through with ease and in a timeless fashion. We are very happy with our experience here. It was even fun getting "locked in" Mr. Luna knows :)

Norm Reeves gave me a dynamite quote and then worked hard to give us the numbers we were hoping for. Our salesperson treated us kindly and with respect. We took delivery of our van just over three hours later. We were pleased with how they worked with our special circumstances trying to get approval from Honda Financial and our overall experience was more than satisfactory. We hope to return in the future to get another Honda.

I had a chat with one of the salesman through email. I specific that I don't have time to come in to negotiate about the price for a car because I am a very busy person. He let me talk to the manager and they agreed on a price that I was happy with. So I came in that day but things started to change. The manager said that he was not able to sell if for me at that price since it has already expired. (Note: he said to come in on Tuesday, which I did) it was an overall bad experience. He was not able to keep his promise. I left the place not very happy.

While we are happy with the car we bought from the Superstore, our experience with financing the car was beyond unprofessional. The loan was processed incorrectly (paperwork was never sent from norm Reeves to the bank); because of this we incurred late charges. When we tried to notify the finance department at the dealership, we did not receive any follow-up. We ended up having to pay the late charges, even though the car dealership never set up the own correctly in the first place. not only did we have to pay charges, but my excellent credit score is now in jeopardy. Completely unprofessional and non-existent customer service - once they get you to buy the car, they don't care about doing the job right or gaining a repeat customer. We're extremely disappointed.

Wow! I'm beyond furious! Warning to all of you: do NOT give Norm Reeves Honda Huntington Beach any of your business!!! They will tell you one thing and then turn around and do the exact opposite. An absolute disgrace, and they just fall right into that stereotype that all car salesmen & dealers are out to take you for all you're worth. They failed so much with us, I'll never go back to them for ANY REASON, and I want everyone to know just how terrible they are, and how they outright LIED to us during the sale. First of all, we weren't planning on trading in our '12 Cr-V. Now I know we should never have walked into the dealer that day. However, Bryan Tully & Mike Lott called me one day, saying someone wanted to buy our car and that they could get us a good deal on a '14 Cr-V. So, my husband and I took them on their word, went down to the dealership, and traded in our '12 for a new '14. Mind you, I always send our payment in 2 weeks early to ensure it will arrive & be processed on time. So, when we went in, my July payment had already been processed even though it wasn't due for another week and a half. I told Bryan Tully that, and he said no problem, we'll receive a refund from Honda for that payment since it wasn't due yet, and we were planning on using that refund as the first payment on our '14. Did I receive it? No!! Instead, a couple weeks later, I received ANOTHER BILL for the '12 WHICH WE NO LONGER HAD!! When I called Honda Financial Services to ask about it, they told me there was nothing they could do on their end, and that I should contact Norm Reeves Huntington Beach directly. I did, and Dale in finance told me I won't be getting that money back because they had already processed my payment. What??!! Even though I explained to him that my payment wasn't due until AFTER WE NO LONGER HAD THE VEHICLE, he maintained that I'm not entitled to that money because the payoff included that payment. I told him it shouldn't because the payment was processed 11 days early, and we traded in that vehicle 8 days BEFORE it was even due. So, I'm out AN ENTIRE monthly payment because I'm a good customer & always make my payments early??!! Absolutely unacceptable, and a disgrace! Worst experience ever! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS!!

Awesome experience throughout the new car buying/leasing & trade-in processes. No rush or pressure to make a choice right away! We took five days to finalize our deal! Sales & leasing consultant Kyle T. was personable, knowledgeable, & honest from the get-go! Sharing my KBB & Consumer Report research with him was received with respect & understanding, & ultimately was the final basis for trading in our used Honda Civic to them. We got a fair deal! He provided a balance between his employer & my wife & I, explaining what he/the dealership could & could not do! From him, we gained valuable information about buying versus leasing & hybrid versus gas fueled cars. Ultimately, his time with us was invaluable because it helped us make our final choice, leasing a new Honda Accord LX. Even changing our minds about the car color & trim at the last minute, didn't phase him or the process! Our concern & request was received with a smile & let's do it! We went from silver/gray to white/ivory (tan). Also, Finance Manager, Boc N. made the always long, drawn out, arduous final paperwork process a personable, streamlined experience. From past experiences at other dealerships, we've come to dread getting hammered at the end of the process to buy unwanted assessories & warranty plans! While these things were mentioned, it was definitely a casual, friendly, soft sell! Going into the final paperwork process, we never intended to buy any additional extras except for wheel locks & splash guards. But Boc made us a great offer on the security system, Sky Link, that we just couldn't refuse! It was too good to not better ensure the security of our new car investment! Many thanks to Kyle T. & Boc N. for making this an enjoyable, fair experience for both sides!

Most people are skeptical about buying a used car and it can seem like such long process. I wasn't very happy about buying a new car. I've heard of norm reeves and decided to go in for a test drive. I went to 3 different dealers and most the salespeople were pushy and a turn off. I've gotten my car serviced at norm reeves before so I kinda thought they would help me out on a new ride. We walked in and talked with the receptionist and Wayne was there as a salesperson. So glad we met him! He helped us out and showed what makes sense for a used accord! After our test drive, Allen was his manager and he was so nice and helped us with our payment process and finances, we promised we would send friends and family to them because of the deal they gave us on a new 2011 accord! They didn't have the color we wanted but we decided for the silver. I will gladly send anyone their way because of their great service and all around easy going attitude! Thank you Wayne and Allen at Norm Reeves!!!

I looked online for cars and i came apon this 09 Nissan Sentra down at Norm Reeves HB. The dealer ship is alittle far for me because I live in LA. But i gave a call anyway the car las pretty low miles and looked like it was in great condition plus it was a stick and who doesnt like a stick shift. Right away i was connected to Alex and he sounded very freindly and honest that the car was an exelent choise for my needs. He ashured me i would not be disapointed if i went down to take it for a spin. When i arived i was greeted by Ted C., i told him i already talked to Alex and what car i was there to look at so he pointed me to the car and went to get Alex while i was looking at the car. Right away was greated by a smile and a had shake by Alex and we started going over the features, MPG, ect. The test dive was awsome, Alex was right i wasnt disapointed the car drove great, looked good and had a good price. As soon as i sat in the car i knew it was a done deal i wasnt leaving without it. Even though i arived near closing time i was treated very well and with out a doubt this is the place to buy a new or used car. Totally worth the drive. Thanks Alex and Ted for a great car buying experience.

I had recently visited other dealers and I asked for the same deal. Once I walked through the other dealers doors things change I was pressure to higher price. I was expecting the same thing at Norm Reeves Honda H B. I was trying to educate my daughter on how some car dealer work and was not expecting Frank Tran our sales person. I asked for the same deal I asked the other dealers Frank Tran said I Think I can do that. Walked in through their doors and Frank Tran not once tried to change or pressure me to a higher price. I got the car I wanted at the right price with no pressure. I will get my next car here again and will recommend it to friends and family Thank you Frank Tran and Norm Reeves Honda HB

Car shopping and the buying process can have the ability to suck the life out of you as you visit dealerships, but Norm Reeves stands out amongst the others as being a friendly neighborhood dealer that honestly and earnest has your best interest in mind. I was in the market to lease a car for the first time. After looking at a lot (and I mean a lot) of different cars at different dealers it ultimately came down to the Kia sportage, the ford escape and the Honda cr-v. I finally decided on the cr-v and then continued to shop at numerous local honda stores. Not only did Boc and his team at Norm Reeves Honda offer substantially better prices than the local competitors, but every person I spoke to there was extremely friendly. (They also have the best coffee I've ever had). Now speaking about Boc directly- I can't thank him enough for his patience and kindness. He was fantastic to work with and I would recommend anyone looking for a car to work with him or any of his great coworkers at norm reeves.

Service department charged me $1000 over 4 days and never fixed my problem.Saturday, 8/17 - took car in because I had trouble starting the car. Paid $480 for plugs, wires, rotor, and "carbon cleaning" picked up car the same day.Monday 8/19 - car would not start at work. Had car towed to Dealer. $500 quote to "replace starter." Although there was a "promise" to "work with me on the price" nothing was done.Tuesday 8/20 - Paid for repairs and waited 20 minutes for my car. Service Manager "had problems starting my car." Stated the problem probably wasn't fixed.Thursday 8/21 - experienced the exact same problem I took the car in for on Saturday--"had problems starting my car."Service department charged me $1000 over 4 days and never fixed my problem. General manager is now "away from his desk" everytime I try to call him.

Very nice Atmosphere, offered me water and snacks. Sat me down and was very knowledgable. Introduced me to his team. Overall experience was comforting, he knew what he was doing and from beginning to end (i bought out my lease) I wasnt there forever. I recommend this dealership. I drove 50 minutes just to get there. ( my old dealership is 5 minutes away, but due to a bad experience, it was worth the drive for Norm Reeves Honda. )

If you live in the OC, especially if you're a woman, I recommend my internet sales guy, Holland, a call/email and see what a spectacular deal he can give you :)As a female car buyer, he's what this new, internet savvy generation needs - communicative, attentive, honest, and patient! It took me 30 days of shopping for my dream 2013 Honda Accord Sport in White. Why did it take me that long? Well, it's my fault for not finding how great Holland is at Norm Reeves. Contrary to other dealers who pulled lots of tricks (You know what I mean...), Holland pulled no funny business and gave me the best deal in OC. He was very communicative before, during, and after the sales. When I came into the dealership, I noticed how clean it is compared to other dealerships I've been to. I went in for some parts for my Element. The retail store is very clean and organized. Everything is in its place, very impressive! The guy that helped me, Guillermo, was very knowledgeable and kind and helpful. Not like some sales people who just want my $$ and get me out as soon as they can. Will definitely be coming back and recommending my friends here =)

Usually get my '08 Fit serviced at Weseloh Honda, so this was my first time at Norm Reeves'.First of all, it was a very busy day. At first I was frustrated due to a longer than expected wait to drop off my vehicle, and that no one greeted me or any of the three other people in front of me.Things turned around when I was helped by Benito. He could see that I was agitated and apologise profusely for the wait. Benito quickly got my appointment started and had me out the door in just a few minutes with friendly service that I was thankful for.Service to my vehicle was completed more quickly than I had anticipated, and Ben (who apparently took over for Benito) called with an update on my car, and offered some low pressure suggestions about other items that I should attend to.When I came to pick up my car, Ben was very friendly and apologized for how busy it had been earlier.All in all I had a great experience. It's outside of my regular neighborhood, but I wouldn't hesitate to return.

I went in for an oil change on my 08 Civic and walked out with a '12 Civic Si. David was a superior customer oriented salesman. All the salesmen were actually giving him gruff about chatting with a "beach bum" coming in for an oil change. Well, he made the sale and I would recommend him to anyone considering a Honda!

After going to a handful of dealerships in my area (Los Angeles), Norm Reeves Honda Superstore in Huntington Beach was a breath of fresh air. I know that I couldn't have had a better experience anywhere else and will make the drive every time to deal with a group of people I found to be honest, down to earth, and truly cared about making my car buying experience a good one. I was done with my paperwork in only a couple of hours and was quickly able to settle on a price that I'm still happy with. It's nice to know that car buying doesn't have to be as daunting as many other dealerships still make it. Thanks again to the great team at Norm Reeves Honda Superstore in Huntington Beach! Here is an email I sent to the GM explaining my worst purchasing experience ever...:::Mr. Conant, I wanted to share my recent experience at your dealership as I attempted to lease a 2012 Pilot Touring model this past weekend. After making several attempts at other dealerships to find a particular color combination for my wife, I was happy to hear on Friday, July 6th, that you could get the Pilot Touring in white/gray from your Cerritos store. The lease terms were agreed to over the phone through your sales rep, Riz Valdez. I arrived at your store around 1pm to finalize the deal. After completing the paperwork and running my credit, Riz informed me that my score was tier 2 and so the payment would be $50 more per month. I explained this wouldnt be acceptable and that your competitor, Honda World, had agreed to doing the deal at the terms I was requesting from you guys. He asked me if they had run my credit and I said yes. Riz took this info to his manager, only to return and tell me that Honda World had lied to me, and that they never ran my credit so wouldn't have known that they could do the deal. I asked how he could know this and he gave me the credit score paperwork where it showed a few recent inquiries where I had shopped. Embarrassingly, right there on the paperwork was a hit from Honda World, who had indeed checked my credit. To tell you the truth, it felt as though I (not just Honda World) was being accused of telling the lie and bluffing that your competitor had agreed on the deal I was asking you guys for. Riz returned to his manager (Bryant Lee I believe) and returned with an apology and agreement that you guys would accept the terms I was willing to pay. Stuff happens, right? Done deal, fantastic! Fast forward several hours. Paperwork is done. Riz is off to secure the car from your Cerritos store. I run home to pick up my wife, then return to your store to take home our new Pilot. Pilot arrives, we are excited. We get the rundown on the navigation, etc., do the quick walk around and were off with our new Pilot! Arriving home, I walk up to the Pilot as my wife is still in the car, only to notice a small dent above the gas door. My stomach sinks and I immediately call Riz to tell him about the problem. Riz calls the manager, Kevin Avena, to see what we can do. Riz then calls me back to let me know that I can just bring it in the next day and well see what can be done. Not wanting to keep the car long, and especially overnight, before getting to a solution, I immediately drove the Pilot back to your store. After reviewing everything, Kevin couldnt have handled it better. I explained that my first wish would be to just get another identical car. Kevin then went to check inventory and came back with great news. He was willing to void this transaction and get me into the identical car since they had one coming into the Cerritos store within a couple days, likely Sunday July 8th. Perfect, I had no problem waiting a couple days to get this right. I asked Riz to double and triple check that this Pilot in transit was the exact same color, model, everything. I have also learned through this purchase experience how difficult it can be to do dealer trades. I questioned Kevin on this and he assured me that given the circumstances, he would make sure the car was allocated to me no matter what. That even if he had to send me over to Cerritos to do the same deal with his buddy there, that this was going to happen. The car was mine! Kevin promised to give me a call the next day, Saturday July 7th. Fast forward to Saturday July 7th. No phone call from Kevin or Riz. I finally call at 4:30pm and get Riz on the phone. Riz was great, assuring me that its all being handled and that the car has been allocated to me. The car is mine. He just had to find out when exactly it would be delivered. Perfect. Or at least it was until the next call back from Riz just a few minutes later. Riz informed me that they could not get the car. It had never entered California and therefore it got allocated to another dealership outside the state...or some excuse to this nature. Even worse, it would be a month or even months before you got this exact car in your store. I honestly didnt know what to say. I asked Riz to put Frank on the phone which he did. Upset, I tried to understand how this happened. I could tell Frank grew frustrated as I grew more and more upset. He began to tell me that he never told me that the car in transit was allocated to me, or that it was a done deal getting the car. I then asked Frank about getting the original car fixed. He seemed happy I was open to this. If you guys could get it back to new, Im would be happy to keep that one. Not me first choice, but definitely my second choice. Frank told me he wanted to make 100% sure the car could be fixed right, so he would have to speak with the body shop guy first thing Monday morning. I also would want to see the repair before re-purchasing the car. Fair enough. Maybe 10 minutes later, I get a call back from Riz. Riz proceeds to tell me that Frank is very sorry, but my Pilot (with the dent) was sold already that day! Yes, that's right. You guys sold the Pilot with the dent before letting me know that the Pilot in transit was not happening. Im left without the Pilot or any options. I'm screwed. Paul, Im sure this is not even close to the way you typically handle your business, or at least I hope not. How is it that given the many unfortunate events throughout this transaction, that your managers did not bend over backwards to communicate with me and stay on top of this deal? How did the Pilot (with the dent) get sold before making 100% sure that the Pilot in transit was definitely coming to the Cerritos store? How did I get treated this way? Ironically enough, Riz mentioned how Honda World doesnt have the "integrity" that Norm Reeves Honda has. Some background and a long story short, Honda World told me they had the vehicle I wanted on their lot. They didnt and instead tried to sell me a different color. As these events at your store unraveled, it was very disappointing to me that both Riz and Frank all of a sudden had very short memories. Neither could recall that they sent me home Saturday feeling very assured and happy that I had another identical vehicle coming in a couple days. If this wasnt the case, then I certainly wouldnt have voided the original deal. It took me literally days of shopping to get the exact car at the exact deal I wanted. While it would have been my second preference, I would have wanted the dent fixed if thats the best we could have done. I was never given this opportunity. Why not? Integrity is more than a word on a brochure, website, or mission statement. Integrity is something you must live. As deals go bad and unfortunate things start to snowball, which we all know they do from time to time, integrity is put to the test. I hope you can further teach this to your staff, and learn it in your business. As you might imagine, my wife is heartbroken and I've never had a worse experience as a customer. Ever. I asked Frank to have you give me a call. Perhaps you didn't get the message? I would welcome a phone call from you if you care to.;;;

We visited this dealership to see a car listed on the website. The salesman (Riz) that rode along with us in the test drive was super gracious. He did what he could to help us out when we went back into the office. He was the only positive about our visit.I had a financing set through my credit union and was ready to buy a car that night if the price was right. The car was a six years old, reeked of cigarette smoke (masked by air freshener), had almost 100K miles, and was not a Honda. Despite all that, we figured we may be able to save $ and compromise if the price was right - since it was the make and model we were shopping for.After we put in our initial offer, which I expected them to counter, Bryant Lee (general sales manager) emerged out of his office with our sales guy. The first words were not "hello" or "nice to meet you." Rather, he stated, "I guess you folks didn't come here to buy a car tonight" in an incredibly patronizing tone. He indicated we needed to pay sticker (totally not worth for a car like that) and was very "smart" in all his responses. For example, I told him the car smelled like smoke and he asked if I felt the smell was worth three thousand dollars. He's the type of personality I typically associate with used car salesmen: arrogant and pushy.I don't go to a car dealership to feel small or to overpay, so we left without purchasing the car and with the sentiment that Norm Reeves Honda Superstore was less than super.We bought a car yesterday from another dealership ... the same make/model but 2 years newer, w/certified w/warranty, 60,000 less miles, and no odor. We paid more than what we offered at Norm Reeves Honda but both the vehicle and customer service at Desert Toyota were worth it.Norm Reeves has since dropped the price (yet again) on the vehicle. It's approximately a thousand dollars above my starting offer. With its odor and rude sales managers, I imagine the vehicle has been a hard sell. There are other dealerships that will treat you like a customer and in which you can pay less. You needn't go to Norm Reeve's "Super" store.

Purchased a Honda after driving from the Valley to Huntington Beach. The car quit running 2 DAYS later......needed a transmission and axle. Then the car had to go back a second time for more expensive repairs. Did not expect to purchase a car of this quality from a Honda dealer who you would think would want to have repeat business and maintain the reputation of Honda. I would never recommend them for anything.....at all.

This is the worst Honda dealership in Southern California!There is a Persian sales guy who goes by "Frank" and he was the most rude and obnoxious individual that I have encountered in the car business. He lied to me on the phone stating he had the exact car I was looking for but he wouldn't tell me the interior color. He is telling me to just come down because the car is here. When I start to question him about the interior color because I don't want to waste my time driving there if its not the car im looking for he gets rude and says "why does the interior color matter?" I couldn't believe he would ask such a stupid question and on top of that be extremely rude about it. When I start to tell him that color and interior are important to me he states that I am pathetic and that he doesn't want to talk to me. He hung up on me and 20 minutes later a manager calls back apologizing for "Franks" behavior and tells me that they DO NOT have the car I want in their inventory. I told him that he needs to teach "Frank" basic phone etiquette and give him an attitude check because if he continues this way he is going to give more people a bad impression of this dealership. All the manger can say is "Frank is new here". Being new in the business does not justify the way Frank treated me. I will never step foot in this dealership and I will make sure to tell anyone in the market for a new Honda to STAY AWAY. Lets just say Hardin Honda earned my business because they believe in telling the truth from the start and don't play any games. I got a phenomenal deal on a 2012 accord which im sure Norm Reeves wouldn't even try to match.TEACH YOUR SALES STAFF SOME CUSTOMER SERVICE AND MAYBE YOU WILL GAIN A BETTER REPUTATION!!ITS NOT THAT DIFFICULT PEOPLE!!!

Jonathan Miyahara is a no-pressure, honest and ethical sales person (I know you didn't think they existed right?) This was an amazing experience. I got the best deal ever and didn't have to haggle. Johnny gave me all the information I needed to make and informed decision. I felt like he was my advocate the entire time - I never felt pressured. Thee was no B.S. Just professional informational selling. I got an incredible deal with no money down and very affordable payments. I cannot say enough about the team at Norm Reeves. Bryant in finance was another great guy - laid back, professional and enjoyable to deal wtih. Tony gave us the car and demonstrated all the features and the manager came out and said "thank you" for the purchase. Also, know that not all dealerships are the same. I can't speak for other Honda dealers, but I can say that Norm Reeves Honda in Huntington Beach and Jonathan Miyahara. There is so much value to me in working with an honest salesperson. It's priceless. Even if you could get a cheaper deal somewhere else(which I doubt, because these guys are here to please), it wouldn't be worth it if you had to haggle for hours. My time is valuable and I apprecaite people who respect it.Many thanks to the people at Norm Reeves and especially to Jonathan Miyahara who made me a believer that there are still good, honest, ethical people in the car industry.

The Best dealer experience I have had ever, I've been buying cars for 30 plus years and I have never had such great service. The best part was the pricing. It was half the price of another local dealer on not only one item but several (VTEC repair, brakes etc.). The smog check found a problem with the VTEC system even though the car passed all emission specs. So I took it to 3 independents and they all recommended taking it to a dealer.I want the world to know that a dealer exists that gives Super great service and prices.Even the parts department was extremely knowledgable and helpful (I replaced the front motor mount myself)Ken Otsubo
