Reading all great reviews for Norm Reeves Honda WC, you know more people are trusting online reviews more than ever. Is it not common to find "errors" in paperwork or problems with a new car after you've driven off the lot any more? Is it just me, or does anyone else also think that do business owners ever try to game the system and rating websites giving consumers a false perception of the business where they are about to spend their money? A study shows:15% to 30% of online reviews are fake. Per spokeswoman Rachel Walker, tainted reviews are prompting Yelp to investigate those it suspects are gaming the system. Once I get beyond the rating review, the experience Norm Reeves Honda WC provides to me matters a great deal... Called Norm Reeves Honda WC and talked to the car salesman, Jademine Kao, about a Civic deal. If you price matches another dealership, including floor mats, touch up paint, and aftermarket alarm, I'll buy from you today. I texted Jademine a copy of a deal worksheet from the other dealership and a copy of previous purchase of 2014 Accord sale contract so he would take me seriously (can't figure out how to attach screen shot photos to my review on this site). My salesman seemed honest and really wanted the deal. I thought this latest car buying experience was different.The transaction can be enjoyable. However... Jademine never really helped me when I noticed floor mats were missing, a floor mat retention clip broken, aftermarket car alarm is disconnected, and my touch up paint after the sale. Jademine didn't like to use text before the sale. He texted me and asked the part department rep Raymond to help me after the sale. Raymond asked me to pay for floor mat retention clip and floor mat set. I have a real issue about after signing the contract that certain things we had agreed upon were left out of the contract. Be careful don't let this happen to you. There is absolutely zero harm not making this dealer is your first choice when it comes to buying -- it may keep more of your hard-earned money and save you some frustration later. What my salesman did to me, he will do to you too. Is everyone happy at Norm Reeves Honda WC but me? Is it just me, or does anyone else also think that the car salesperson would ignore you when you have problems after the sale?

The entire buying process was smooth and hassle free. I truly appreciate the fact that these salesmen are not pushing. They truly try to find a deal that works within your budget. I dealt with the sales manager, John, who helped with the approval process. Then Manuel A. showed me the car and closed the deal. And lastly Eugene, broke down the fees, which was really helpful. Without these guys, I would have not drove out with my 16' Accord. Thank you! I would highly recommend for everyone to come in and ask for these 3!!!

Need to find a dealer for your next Honda? Let me break it down for you:1. David Ochoa will straight up give you a fair deal the first time around (mine was on par with my lowest standing offer, as I had gone through several other internet sales mgrs before contacting David). 2. Unlike other dealers (cough Downey cough), there's no bait and switch when you get to the dealership (The OTD I got via email was honored, and I got the exact car I wanted). 3. Juan Bernal was the best! Super nice and professional. He gave a much more thorough explanation of the car features than I had received at my local dealership, which I really appreciated. ALSO, I really like salespeople who actually own Hondas when they sell Hondas. It's almost like they believe in what they are selling! 4. Financial manager Mauricio was just as pleasant to talk to. You don't get any of the rude, pushy attitude to purchase all of the extras.I usually don't write reviews for things, but I felt that West Covina really deserved a good write up, especially in light of my experience with some other Honda dealers. Will definitely be thinking of you guys when it's time to buy another car.

Let me start off by saying Danny V. at Norm Reeves is the man! My purchase experience was an absolute 1800 from what I always prepare myself for buying a car and from what I experienced earlier in the week with other Honda dealerships in my area. From the moment Danny called me to tell me he had the EXACT car I was looking for and assured me that the deal he was going to give me was 100% the final price he would give me once I got there, to him waving us goodbye at the end of the night as he stayed behind for hours after he was done to make sure we were taken care of, this dude was ON POINT. Throughout the entire process, Danny V. told me there was no funny business, but I kept my guard up because let's face it, that's the usual line at a car dealership. Much to my shagrin, Danny kept his word the whole time. Read on for the dirty details, or skip to the end for the happy ending. We arrived at the dealership (later than we said we would be because I'm late to everything) and he was outside in like 400 weather waiting to greet us. He had the car ready to go and was eager to show me it was just as he had promised and even tried to hand me the keys right away. Reluctantly, I wanted to discuss the numbers before accepting with open palms just yet... Danny remained cool as a cucumber through each step that I took with him with caution as I kept my guard up; he kept a monk's patience as I met everything he said with twice as many questions. As we discussed numbers, EVERYTHING was exactly what as he said over the phone. I was still in disbelief and waiting for the "gotcha". Next thing I know, I'm in the office with the F&I manager John V. as he happily walked us through our contract and very patiently and with no pressure talked to us about the helpful dealer services we could add to our purchase. Here we were, keeping this man after hours, and he had nothing but a positive attitude and very little contest to my stubborn skepticism. Once we wrapped up with financing, we were met once again with Danny and he showed us around the car, help us get everything set up and gave us his contact information should we have any other questions about our car. It was done. I had my car, at the price we had agreed on, in the condition we had agreed on, with ZERO hassle throughout the whole thing. What the heck had just happened?! Awesomeness had just happened and I have no other explanation for it aside from when Danny V and the guys at Norm Reeves say they don't play those tiresome dealership games, they're true to their word. I'll end with this - Norm Reeves Honda was about a 45 minute drive for us, but we had tried our local Honda dealers in our area earlier in the week, and got lied to, stood up, or just met without the right inventory. I was really hoping I wouldn't drive all the way out to Norm Reeves for the same dance, and thankfully I didn't! Thanks Danny, I'm still sure that most car dealerships are still out to get the best of me, but you really turned our world upside down on the verdict with regards to Norm Reeves. You rock!

Everyone I encountered were consummate professionals clearly well-trained in superior customer service. My day started with Sales rep Armando Garcia, an amazingly fascinating guy who loves cars so much that he restores classic cars and is a celebrity in his own right in the Southern California automotive community. His passion for art and performance on four wheels made the experience all the more meaningful. He focused entirely on helping me through the process and making me feel as though I was his one and only customer. Finance Manager Ted Esquer impressed me as well providing more options than I could imagine without making me feel pressured in any way. I was truly surprised how inexpensive the financial end of the deal turned out thanks to Teds experience and professionalism. Right there with these two gentlemen were General Sales Manager Gen Balouev, Internet Director David Ochoa and Parts Manager Carlos Gomez handling other details to make my experience as smooth as possible. They really are the Helpful Honda Men like you see on the commericials. And, I guess thats the take-away. It used to be that auto manufacturers would market their cars on a national basis in a creative and professional manner. But things fell apart at the dealerships where untrained and often surly staff would undo much of the goodwill and excitement and just turn people off. But that wasnt the case at Norm Reeves Honda in West Covina. Without reservation or qualification, I felt a genuine interest from all of the staff to make my car buying experience positive and enjoyable. Thats a tribute to dealer leadership and to a lot of hard work and relentless attention to detail.

I had been looking for a car for about six months. I finally got tired of looking because of all of the hassle and negotiations and every dealer basically telling me that I was never going to find what I want. I finally went into Norm Reeves Honda in West Covina. I was emailing one of the sales men because I had inquired about a car I saw on the website. I also talked inn the phone with this man and he was very nice and considerate of my situation. When I finally go in to meet the sales man and look at cars I found out he had to go home sick but another person could help me. The other man that helped me was also very nice and got my entire story and was extremely helpful. I didn't have the best income and credit but they helped me out so much to get me in a car that day. I ended up doing a lease. And they let me know that at the end of my lease I could refinance the rest of the loan and then pay to own the car. I loved that they worked their hardest to make me happy and get me what I wanted. I was looking for a used car and left with a new 2014 honda civic. I love this place and would recommend it to everyone.

There were no hidden fees after we negotiated the price of the vehicle, just tax and licensing. He introduced me to the Desk Manager, John Salama, who shook my hand and thanked me for being their customer (when does that ever happen?!)and even the finance guy, James Ponce, the guy we all fear is tallying up crazy charges, was great and didnt mind at all that I asked for each dollar amount on the contract to be detailed and explained. I had my heart set on a 2014 Honda Civic EX sedan in Kona Coffee and of course with my luck that particular color and model is currently in stock at only a handful of Honda dealerships in California. So after pretty much calling every dealership within a 50 mile radius of my home I had some promising leads. Two dealerships told me that while it would be difficult to get me what I wanted it wouldn't be impossible which at the moment was a little discouraging but I still had high hopes since it was still the beginning of the search for my dream car. From the recommendation of a friend I gave Anson Lam a call at Norm Reeves Honda West Covina and explained through gritted teeth the horrible experience I had just gone through with my local dealership and told him flat out not to mess with me because I'm at my wits end and let me tell you, right off the bat the service I received from Anson was night and day. He acknowledged my frustrations and apologized for the troubles I had with the other place then went onto say "I value your time just as much as I value mine." Anson blatantly told me, "When I return your call I will simply tell you whether or not I can provide you with your color of choice." Which I appreciated, finally someone is telling it like it is. So I went to lunch and he returned my call and informed me that he's in the process of retrieving the car. I was still kind of timid with the memory of my prior experience still fresh in my mind, but like I said I had my heart set on that car so I made the trip to Norm Reeves and was greeted by Anson who gave us bottled water which was much appreciated because it was a hot day. He sat us down and reassured me that the Kona Coffee I requested would be arriving soon which I still found hard to believe considering this was almost the same song and dance I got from the other dealership. As we waited he suggested we start on some of the paperwork which made me think "wow maybe he is telling the truth.." and as we were heading to finance low and behold my Kona Coffee arrived just as he said it would and I almost couldn't contain my excitement I swear I would have started bear-hugging the car if there weren't so many people around, so to save myself from an embarrassing scene I settled on hugging the steering wheel and quietly squealing in delight. Anson gave me exactly what I wanted without any runaround. I wouldn't consider ever buying a Honda or any other car for that matter from anyone but Anson. I would strongly recommend buying a car from Norm Reeves Honda West Covina and if youre not in the market for smoke and mirrors and just want to deal with a true professional then I would have to say hands down Anson Lam is an epitome of the helpful Honda guy.

I came into this dealership looking for a certified pre-owned 2011 Honda CR-V that Norm Reeves had on their lot. The salesman that helped me was Anson Lam. First off, let me say that this guy goes above and beyond for his customers. He is extremely helpful and informative. I test drove the 2011 CR-V and liked it alot, loved everything that came with it. He asked me if I ever thought about the 2014 CR-V and I said "No, I don't like the way the car looks." He asked me to just go take a look at it and we went for a test drive. Let me tell you, after I test drove the 2014 CR-V, I instantly changed my mind. I wasn't even thinking about the 2011 CR-V anymore. I wanted to know more about the car and its features and he was patient enough to answer each of my questions. Even though it was a busy night and there were a lot of customers, he didn't even rush through the process. He's the type of person that doesn't push you to get something else, but I feel like he is the type of person that encourages you to open your mind to other selections that are on the lot. I feel like that is a good quality in a salesman because before going to this dealership, I went to two others and they were HORRIBLE. The other dealerships basically just said "You want it or not? Take it or leave it". Long story short, Anson was very respectful, helpful, and informative. Its been one month since I've purchased my car and I'm loving it! If you ever go to Norm Reeves Honda in West Covina, Anson Lam is your man !

I bought a new Honda Civic from this dealer in March 2014. The sales deparment was nice & the price was reasonable. When they sent me to the finance department to sign the paperworks, the guy I dealt with named Rick Anderson played a trick to me. He offered to sell the bumper to bumper extended wanrranty to me twice & I rejected the offer. When he intended to sell me on the 3rd time, he told me that I just need to pay $9.43 extra each month to the monthly payment. When I heard that amount, I accepted his offered. But when he prepared the sale contract & other paperworks, he also added theft device (alarm system) to the contract without verbally telling me it would cost another $1,500 to the total price. In the same time, he changed my payment term from 60 months to 72 months without telling me. No wonder the monthly payment turned out to be only $9.43 more than the original term I wanted at 60 months. When I found out this a month later, I called my salesmen. He asked me to go visit the finance director in the dealer today. I went there & spoke to him if he could remove the alarm system from my car since I wasn't aware it was in the sale contract. He said there's nothing he could to do for me. Even the gerneral manager came in to his office & listened what's going on, he also can't help me to remove the thing I didn't want to buy. This is really a trick to a loyal customer who went back to buy a 2nd car from the dealer & normally would trust the dealer about the detail in their sale contract.

On March 25th I purchased my first brand new car. I wasn't even going to go to Norm Reeves but I decide to just look and see what caught my eye. Ryan Iaea was the salesman that approached me. He was patient throughout the whole experience. I wasn't certain I really wanted to by a Honda in the first place. He let me talk it out and gave me as much time as I need. They promised us new tires to get the sale. After we signed the papers they said that they never said that and didn't give us the tires even though the salesman (Ali), sales manager and finance guy told us they would take care of it. They kept saying that we got a really great deal and we could walk away if we wanted to ($700 below asking is not a amazing deal). Also we bought a "certified" car. This is a joke. You pay a lot more money for a certified car. Several items were checked off on the inspection list but were not correct/working (4 of 6 interior lights out, missing manual, windshield liner messed up, missing cert/warranty papers, glove box light out, etc). Do they even check these cars before they certify them? I guess not. Luckily I am thorough and checked the list and the car. We pointed out the things we noticed to them, said they would fix it and to pick it up 2 days later. Called us in two days to pick it up. Drove all the way out there (3rd time) to pick it up and none of it was fixed. So mad. Also the car was not even clean. Dirt and bug splatter on the car. Said they would fix it and deliver it to us because we said we were NOT driving out there again. Delivered the car a day later than they promised and 2 of the items were still not fixed!! Took the car because we were so sick of dealing with them and just wanted our car. A whole week after signing the paperwork and still not fixed. Horrible. We wanted the certified car for the peace of mind and the extra warranty. I don't really have peace of mind that we paid extra for. But we do like our Pilot and so far there have been no mechanical problems- thank goodness. Hondas are great, dealers are xxxxxxxx.

I went shopping for a Honda and the salesman was very pushy. Upon telling him my intention to buy with cash, he asked me why not finance. I told him I didn't want to pay interest and his reply was "you are cheap!" Although I did not react right then and there, I was insulted and vowed to never go there and will tell all my friends to stay away as well. I just don't think anyone should be insulted for buying a car within your budget with cash!

Less then 12k on my 2012 Odyssey and rotors warped. The advisor refused to cover the labor. Mind you, the warped rotors are a known issue on this vehicle (google it yourself). Still, the Patrick refused. Honda and Norm Reeves West Covina just lost a customer for life.

Not only was the price awesome but the service was great, they did try to sell me an extended warranty but thats their job they are supposed to, any ways great buying experience, I would recommend this dealer to everyone, I read this review abot the guy that wanted the 100,000 mile service and with out knowing exactly what was going to be done to the car I think $300.00 was for different services, a real tune up does cost up to $1000.00

I just purchased a 2012 Honda CR-V from this dealership and it was a great experience (not painful at all!). Yury, my dealer, was very patient, helpful, and knowledgeable. I was a bit intimidated by my less than stellar credit but he was very professional and respectful of my situation. Yury worked out a really great deal for me. In addition, Zack in Finance was also very friendly, professional, and closed the deal in a short amount of time. I was really impressed by the staff's friendly yet non-aggressive style. Even the manager, John Cowan, greeted me and wanted to make sure I was taken care of. I'm so happy I made my purchase at the Norm Reeves Honda West Covina store.

I needed to get my 100,000 mile service done on my 2005 Honda Accord. I wasn't sure how much it would cost or what needed to be done so I gave Norm Reeves a call. They told me I would need my transmission serviced, my radiator flushed and a tune up. They quoted me a price of $1700 and told me if I was to do it now they could give me a special price of $1200. I called Horizon Honda and they quoted me $300. Now I know the dealer usually costs more but that's just crazy. I felt like they were trying to rip me off. I would never take my car to Norm Reeves.

We were in the market for a 2012 Honda Odyssey Touring and I sent out emails to 10 different dealers. Richard Yim from Norm Reeves West Covina came up with a quote no one would beat and only a few would match. I found Richard to be very knowledgeable about the Touring model and was very helpful explaining the high tech features of this model. We left after NOT reaching an agreement on my trade. I got a phone call from Richard and I ended up at Richard's office where he actually was handling two sales at the same time. It was nearly midnight when I left with my new Touring and RICHARD was at work at 9AM on that day as well as the next day. An incredible guy! My only complaint is that the car really needs to be detailed (waxed). It was definately cleaned prior to our purchase but I'm a little disappointed that I now need to have it detailed. On the other hand I feel I got the deal of the century and found my treatment at norm Reeves as a good experience and Richard is great at his job. Great personality too. I highly recommend that you give Richard a call when your in the market-HE will do you RIGHT!

I started doing my research for on my new Accord about a month ago like everyone else I did my homework on the Internet. I finally narrowed it down to a few dealers and the Accord I wanted. I came across David Ochoa at Norm Reeves Honda West Covina.. David was grate and knowledgeable and upfront since day one. My son went in to buy a car from this dealer and has had nothing but problems, the car radio quit working the very next day and he reclined the seat to take a nap and the seat would not come back up. He took it in and they told him the seat was not covered by the warranty but they would fix the radio. Well that was last week and he just went in to pick up his car and the radio is still not fixed but they want to take back the rental they gave him and want him to come back next week because the radio should be back by then! So my son said, I'm not driving this car till it is fixed! The manager is trying to hide from him but he is going back in to tell them he is keeping the rental until his car is fixed! They would not let him keep the rental so he started to drive away and the thermostate panel fell out on him! He is still there trying to deal with these people! I would not recommend this dealer to anyone!The manager finally came out to talk to him and my son showed him how unsafe the car is and the manager told him to take the rental and they would call him when it was fixed.

After having issues with another dealer in the San Gabriel Valley, which I bought the Certified Vehicle from, I took my van to Norm Reeves. As soon as I pulled into the service lane I was immediately greeted by Lewis Lam a service writer, I started to explain the problem and before I could finish Lewis already knew what the problem was. Unlike the dealer I bought the van from who needed it all day to figure out the problem, Lewis called me in about 3 hours to tell me the axle had been replaced, the van was washed and ready for pick up. Unfortunately for me, in order to keep my extended warranty valid I will need to take my van to "the other dealer" once a year for maintenance. For any other warranty or dealer required service I will be going to Norm Reeves in West Covina.

Just bought a beautiful Odyssey! That was the best car buying experience I have ever had! No haggling. Louis is awesome! The easiest process ever! He told us, gave us a quick and excellent amount on my trade in and showed us our monthly payments. Also, the color of the car was not at their location. They went and got it before I got in there. Previous car places made me start filling out all the information before they would even look to see if they could find the color I wanted. It was great to be excited about a new car without the sickness of all the haggling that usually goes on. I have no desire to go anywhere else to buy any future car! I must go now and drool over my new car!

Oscar Acosta! What more is there to say. In a day when everyone is looking for the quick buck. Oscar is the perfect example of customer service! A couple months back I had emailed Oscar regarding used 2001-2011 Civic sedans. He quickly responded and the following day I test drove a couple of civics. I had informed Oscar at the time I was not ready to purchase that day and he was understanding and wanted to find the best vehicle for my needs. A month passed and I was emailing Oscar about the Honda Accord. Again, went back test drove a V6 coupe and 4cyl sedan. On 12/09/11, I purchased the V6 accord coupe. The experience that not only Oscar Acosta, but Maurice Huynh (Finance Director) and Jimmy (Finance Consultant) provided was beyond anything that my mom and I had experienced. I have never enjoyed myself so much in a dealership. I can now say that I'm a Honda loyalist! One thing I do want to mention is I researched Oscar before I made contact. Read his reviews on Yelp, Edmunds, Cars, and Dealerrater.com. I think that is the most important thing you should do before buying a vehicle. A big thanks to the team at Norm Reeves West Covina.

Bought a Honda Odyssey 2011. Overestimated our previous car loan balance told us that it would be return to us by our bank where was our loan was. But called our bank and told us that they Honda only paid the exact amount and the difference of $1,200 was not paid by HONDA. Why do they lie about this? They should tell us the truth. We went there to get 2 cars for the price of one. My husband ask the salesman named Antson, if they can lower they can lower the price of a certain car. But he told us that all the price are final. We also bought our 2010 honda insight here. Now, we found out that they are really not on our side. They will only help you for their own gain. We will not buy a car here ever, from what we had experienced twice. We believe before that they will truly value the loyalty that we have for them but it seems that they are only after their own sake and advantage. Hope and pray for their success and longer business standing. Yes business is business but lying to us is unacceptable. We do believe in Karma, hope they do not.

I am so glad that I went to Norm Reeves to buy my new CRV Honda. I went through fleet sales after being referred by Cost Co. The sales person that contacted me was Oscar Acosta and I could not be any happier now. Oscar never pressured me but was there to answer questions. When I was ready he led me to the right car. I already knew what I wanted to pay and he did not try to pressure me into something more. Even when I went to the dealership just to test drive the car his associate Guy Gordon (Oscar was not there)just took me out for the test drive but did not try to "sell" it to me that day. I really appreciate the professionalism of these men especially Mr. Acosta. I can sincerely say that I would recommend Mr. Acosta and Norm Reeves Hondo to anyone wanted to purchase a car. Thank you.

We researched a 2012 Honda Civic. We had an agreed price arrangement set up prior to our weekend appointment. The agreed car was to be transported from a "sister" dealership just down the way. When we arrived for our appointment, the car had not been confirmed. Subsequently, an hour later, we were told that it had been sold earlier. We were left sitting at a desk for another hour (with no contact or update) while callers tried to locate another vehicle with our stock features. Both employees tried to sell us into another color, which we were not interested in. Excuses came from every direction. For example, "Oh, well it's a popular color;" "You're limited with what we have on the weekend with so many buyers on the lots;" With the Japan crisis, dealers are limited;" etc. After a two hour wait, we were told that the correct car had been located and paper work could be started. When we asked where it was coming from, at first they couldn't tell us. After more waiting, we learned that it was 3 hours away. With it needing to be driven in, we translated that to be many miles on a car that was supposed to be new! Go figure.It was bad enough waiting all that time without communication, but then to be told to wait 3 more hours...for a car we hadn't seen....it just goes to show how unprofessional the dealership really is. Manager tried to clean it up with free movie tickets which we didn't accept. There is no replacement for honesty!

I realized that a used car dealer is a used card dealer, no matter what banner they go under. I was told my car was $8900 when I called. After dealing with them and reducing the monthly payment, accepting the terms, I found out that the retail price was now $8998! Car salesman told me he would give me the CarFax and he never did. I realized it afterwards when I got home. It took 2 days to get it faxed to me, just to find out the car had been accidented and towed! And my mechanic told me my shocks were shot! So very unhappy about the service. Hopefully, I got a good car that won't be a bunch of problems. So before you go buy a car from them, make a list of things you need to have from them and get your car checked by your mechanic. I will never go buy there again.

Just had a great experience at Norm Reeves West Covina. Community Honda in Whittier refused to even look at my 2010 Insight (I live in Whittier) I took it to Norm Reeves in W. Covina, and they were nothing but kind, and helpful, and fair. I would highly recommend the service dept. at this dealership to anyone. Also the waiting area was top notch. Large, clean, comfortable. In late March 2009, I purchased a vehicle from Norm Reeves Honda in West Covina, CA. I knew exactly what I wanted - the new 2010 Honda Insight Hybrid. I went to the dealer on the day the Honda website said they would go on sale but was told they didnt have them in stock yet. A few days later, the sales person called me and let me know they were in. I was excited and hurried to the dealer that day. The sales person was not all that knowledgeable about this car. He was familiar with the Civic hybrid so he was a bit helpful. I think all sales persons should have intensive training when a new model is released so that they sound like they know what they are talking about. But I cut him some slack, after all, they had just received this particular model. While I waited on an approval from Finance, I was told I could go across the street to the gas station if I wanted a Soda or water which I found a bit outlandish, after all, wasnt I the one purchasing a vehicle from them? I've been treated much better at other dealers and have been provided with beverages and sometimes even lunch from the sales person but I had never dealt with Honda so I assumed this is how they went about treating their customers. I had a vehicle to trade in and wanted monthly payments as close to what I was already paying on my trade. I didnt have any money to put down and even if I had $1000, the difference in payment would only be $20 a month. Anyways, I agreed to the terms they gave me which turned out to be $100 more a month but I figured since this was a hybrid I'd be saving a little in gas every month to offset the monthly payment. I found the woman in the finance department that did the contract to be a bit on the unprofessional side. Her demeanor was rude and pushy. She tried to push the Gap Insurance by telling me "Girl, you are financing A LOT of money, and if something happens... " I declined on the Gap insurance so of course she told me I was making a big mistake. I signed the contract for the term and payment specified and walked out the door with my new 2010 Honda Insight. Please bear in mind that I have NO complaints on the vehicle itself. (It is AWESOME.. made it to Vegas on half a tank!) Ten days after purchasing my car, I received a call from the woman in the Finance Dept at Norm Reeves. She asked me to make a down payment. Once again because I was financing A LOT of money according to her. I told her that I did not have a down payment and that I agreed to the terms they gave me already even though it was more than I wanted to pay already. She pushed to get me to try and make a down payment in 15 days. I told her absolutely not. I wanted the car so bad that I had gotten over the fact that I was upside on my trade in. I owed something along the lines of $12k on it and they allowed only $9k. But fine, I agreed on the low ball trade in value they gave me. I read my contract and it said they could not cancel the contract after 10 days (as I can not change my mind - no cooling off period). This was on the 10th day that she called me to tell me they could not find a place to finance it hence, asking for more money and also lowering the term (length of time I had to pay). This would still make my payments even higher than what I had already agreed upon but lower the term by 6 months. I told her no and that they had to find something else to do to finance it. I asked her to talk to her manager about allowing more on the trade, lowering the interest or taking money off the sales price of the new car. So she said she would call me back. About a 4 or 5 days later, another representative from the dealer called me. He told me they were going to allow more on my trade, lower the price of the new car and lower the intrest rate a bit. They also had to shorten the term. The payment came out to be $10 more a month than my original contract but at least the term got lower by 6 months so I found it acceptable. I went back to the dealer to sign the new contract, I asked for it to be handled by another representative in the Finance Dept. Not once did anyone ever offer an apology. Not once did they seem apologetic for making a deal that they couldn't even uphold. And they made no apologies for the incovenience. Not knowing what was going to happen caused me a lot of grief as I had fallen in love with the car already and didn't want to have to bring it back. When I went back to re-sign the contract, it was very cut & dry like they were just done dealing with me even though they were at fault. There was no offer made to at least make me walk out of there with a smile on my face. And so I am writting this review of Norm Reeves Honda to express my dissatisfaction with how the whole situation was handled. I had no idea that financing was not immediately obtained. I walked out of there the first time thinking my loan was financed through Honda. I have never had any problems with financing through any other dealers (Ford, Toyota x2). I would have appreciated it if they were not able to obtaining financing for the terms they gave me the first day, that they would just put the car on hold for me until they did instead of rushing into selling it to me. I know times are hard and every car company is desparate but they are giving cars out without obtaining solid financing first. I never thought it would even be a problem as I have never had a problem before anywhere else. I would have also appreciated a sincere apology for all the trouble but never got that either. A couple weeks ago, I got a call from Honda Customer Service to get my opinion and survey regarding the purchase of this car. I told the representative everything I have mentioned above. I was also asked if I wanted someone from the dealer to call me to follow up. I said yes and provided them with my contact info. About a week later, I received a call from the dealer but it was only to ask me how I liked the car and if I have had any problems or had any questions about it. I said I was happy with the car and had no questions about it. I asked if they had received my customer satisfaction survey and they said yes, they had it with them. Again, he didnt offer any apologies for my experience or even mention anything about my survey comments and me being disatisfied. He only brought up the fact that I mentioned the car didnt come with floor mats and that if I wanted I could purchase at the employee discounted rate. Thanks, but no thanks. I feel like this dealer feels they have made me happy which is simply not true. Yes, I love my car and no, I would never purchase another car from Norm Reeves. Nor would I recommend it to anyone at this point.

I gave scores of 4s and 5s because of the salesperson, Elizabeth Wong. You see, folks, my friend Robert came to Norm Reeves to purchase an Accord a couple months ago, and he drove away with an Accord. And it was all due to Elizabeth's kindness, professionalism and ability to make the customer feel important. My role was to drive my buddy to Norm Reeves to purchase the car, and that I did. Since I played the role as a successful service manager in my past, I was able to assess Elizabeth's sales performance. I found her professional behavior to surpass those of most salespeople. I truly believe it must have something to do with her family upbringing as many others have probably been brought up by parents much to their own characteristics and traits. So, in conclusion, if you are in the market for a Honda vehicle, even if the actual vehicle in which you are searching is not available, do visit this dealership. But, make sure that you request Elizabeth if you are looking for honest sales service. Let me add that Elizabeth still had to turn to her sales manager (like all dealerships) for approval. In this endeavor, the sales manager and my buddy had to go head to head. In the end, my buddy got the price he was looking for. As for the Accord, my friend brought the car back the following day because of a noise that he heard in one of the front wheel wells. I rode in his brand new car not hearing any noise whatsoever. So, of course, when he brought it back to the sales manager the following day, and the sales manager could not get Norm Reeves' own technicians to alleviate the problem, my buddy went ballistic. He had the dealership keep the car a few days to check out the problem, and each time they told him that they could not pinpoint that which he said was disturbing him. This dilemma did not please him whatsoever so he called the corporate office several times to "bitch" about his displeasure. What my buddy did not realize was that the dealership was waiting on a "special" technician to drive in from somewhere around the Torrance area. This "special" technician had equipment to detect special sounds such as the one my buddy complained about. (Once again, I want to remind you that I never heard this noise my buddy was complaining about either.) Once the special test equipment was placed on the various parts of the car, the "specialist" found a body weld that was not robotically completed properly. That said, the service department removed the wheel well area to get to that body weld. It was then re-welded properly by a "human", and all was satisfactory. Last, I wish to commend Norm Reeves for their true service to the customer. I own a Honda Accord myself, and I will end up going to Elizabeth for my next car. Her sales professionalism, the sales manager's support to his sales person, and the service department's commitment to the customer was fantastic. As for my buddy, I'd never have him as a customer because he is one of those jerks that you tend to hear and read about.

I started requesting information from multiple dealers in Southern California 1.5 months before I was planning to purchase my car. Requesting a quote from the dealers online was easy, but getting an actual quote was nothing less than impossible. I got pushed around and my phone number given out to multiple salesman who called to try to convince me that if I don't buy the car immediately, I will not get it (even though I told them 5 weeks in advance), then in the end didn't give me a price quote! Elizabeth Wong at Norm Reeves in West Covina provided me with the price on the very first day, did not pressure me to buy and gave me a sense of security and is genuinely trying to make the experience as smooth as possible. The price she initially offered was more than reasonable. And the price she gave me after I was offered a lower price was definitely great! But in the end it's not all about the money, the different prices that dealers bounce back and forth makes a difference of less that $5 a month, I would've bought the car from her at the MSRP price for the PERFECT customer service she provided, since she gave me a great deal and experience, I'll get her something for x'mas. She also broke everything down from fees to insurance so that there were no surprise when I bought the car (even though my calculations was off by $1). I would highly recommend her services to everyone. I need to get a car for my Mother and Girlfriend in a year or 2, so I'll be looking for her.

I took my car to Norm reeves honda dealer to do the 100k major service, and also request to repair the factory default on my car. The dealer promise me that i can get back my car within 24 hours. However, they just keep lie to me since I fell in their tricks. They said my car's vin num doesn't fall in their recall record, so i won't be free for charge for the factory recall. In this point, I will make contact with honda corp. and see what are the dealer lie to me. In addition, They make excuse to delay schedule for pick up almost a week. I call them day by day, but they just told me "Due to delivery delay, you can't pick it up today". Finally, I got my car back, but they charge me almost double of the original estimate. It just pissed me off. I think they never being honest to their customer. In the service contact, they listed all the bullshit for them to make excuse. They charge the inreasonable price and emphasis their responsbility is limited, and no guarantee all the time, ever they had made promise to you on little thing. I just don't understand how they do business like that maybe they just know how to play some trick and fooling around to make profit. Maybe this dealer is too small and in-capacity to run their business. Honda is mean reliability to me since I bought my first car from Honda. Unfortunlately, I met the worst HONDA DEALER in the world and their words mean nothing. If you believe them, It will cost you alot.
