I have been acquainted will North End Subaru for over ten years. My wife has purchased two cars from them and has been exceedingly happy with North End. I had owned my Toyota since new in 2004 and I have had more than my share of dealings with our local dealership, I have not been impressed. I told myself a few years ago that when the time came to replace my vehicle I'd give North End a shot. I researched their new as well as pre-owned offerings on their website, checked out the vehicle quality ratings on Consumerreports.org and fair market values for my trade. Once I settled on the Outback I headed over to see if we could work out a deal. I was welcomed as soon as I arrived by Jesse and he introduced me to Marty and my sales representative Greg.Greg and I sat and discussed my needs and wishes for my new vehicle. After explaining my options for a new vehicle I chose to go with a lightly used 2016 Outback. We took a fairly long test drive, Greg clearly explained the function and operation of the Outback's systems handling characteristics. On our return we sat and discussed finance options and I was offered a very fair deal for my trade in. I then sat with Tom and finalized the finances and warranties. Papers were all signed and I drove away in my new car.Painless, I never felt pressured or rushed in anyway. Each person I met was polite, professional and truly interested in me having a great purchasing experience.I know from my wife's years of dealing with them I am expecting the service department to carry the positive feelings I have now well into the years to come.

We normally keep our opinions to ourself when we buy anything but feel that this time was very different. We went to NorthEnd after visiting a Honda dealership. We were loyal Honda customers until now. We met Tom S in sales and he was very informative. He joined us on the test drive and answered every question that we had. Unlike the drive at the prior dealer where all four cars that we drove had at least one issue(two had tire presure lights on and wheels were shaking, one had no A/C, and the final car was dead and required a jumpstart),,,These were all new cars! Tom and the rest of the staff were seasoned professionals compared to other dealership staff. We are very excited with our new Legacy and our future with Subaru. Thanks Tom!

Add the realities of a any hiccup in the process and the stress can make it a miserable experienceEnter our heroes, North End Subaru & Mike Pinto.We met with Mike Pinto (and by we I mean my wife, nine year old and two year old) not knowing exactly what we vehicle wanted but with plenty of "must haves". Mike was extremely knowledgable, clearly experienced with all Subaru models, and patient with my kids running all over the premises. After much scrutinizing and test driving, we settled on the outback as the perfect fit for all of our needs. Being prudent shoppers we tested other dealerships but none could match the overall price, service, & convenience Mike and North End came to bat with.Where Mike Pinto really went above & beyond was when there was a hurdle with one of our needs. As can happens in any business transaction, there was a miscommunication outside of his control. As my frustration started to grow, Mike immediately assured me he would work in every way he could to make sure we were completely satisfied. In this day and age words are a dime a dozen...BUT MIKE CAME THROUGH FOR US!!!That is a rare trait, and one that goes a long, long, way.If you are in the market for a new vehicle I can give my full recommendation to North End Subuaru, and Mike Pinto in particular. I seen a car online that I was interested in . Inquired , and was promptly responded to by Jesse online , however before looking I called and spoke with a Sales Rep named Bob . Bob wanted to make sure that this vehicle was definitely still available ( bonus point, because I could see this being used as a get here ploy by a less trustworthy dealership ) , Bob asked if he could call me right back . I scheduled a test drive for later that day. . When I arrive Bob is with another customer so I was greeted by Frank . Frank was genuinely pleasant . He took us on test ride , explaining all the pro's of the car a long the way . When we returned he told us to take a private test ride , and left us alone to discuss . Never hovered , allowed personal space needed for a big decision . Sold !!! We fill out initial PW , because I am returning in two days with payment . Well , the next day payment was situated faster , let him know I would be there in two hours !!! He was extremely generous with his time . Explained EVERYTHING !!! And I mean everything about the car , the perks reward , the service , and mentioned a couple of things I actually hadn't thought of . They seem laid back , they seem ready to accommodate . Bonus for Frank , he didn't ask me to do this review ( as I had been at Imperial Ford ) Genuine person. Finance was concise , efficient and competent . That's very neccasarry for all parties . Give them a look .

I shopped around several Subaru dealerships in New England before going back for a second time to Northend Subaru. I returned because this dealership is close to my home, but not just that -- largely I returned to do business there because of Frank Capoccia, who I'd met my first visit there a few days earlier. Frank didn't pressure me, but respected what I said I was looking for and did his best to help me find it. He didn't respond to me like I was an idiot when I asked questions as I had experienced elsewhere. Then when I made my second trip back, I sought him out and he, without even batting an eyelash, made things work. I now have a new Subaru that I absolutely love, and have been pleasantly surprised to have a phone call just short of 2 weeks later from Frank following up and making sure that I love my Impreza every bit as much now as I did when I first drove it off the lot. I stopped by North End Subaru on a Saturday afternoon, just looking to test drive a used Legacy. I met with Tom Sawvelle. While I was only there to see if I would like the Legacy, Tom did a great job explaining all the features of the vehicle. He showed me the resale value on the cars and how Subaru rates in Consumer Reports. I soon realized that this was certainly going to be my next car, it was just a matter of picking one out. My husband and I both test drove a new one and a used one. Falling in love with the black on black of the new Legacy, it was going to be a go! Tom was super helpful in getting me exactly what I was looking for in trade in value and price without me telling him where I wanted to be. Tom in finance also did a fantastic job getting me rate that fit my budget. All the pieces just fell together in a very low pressure setting that made this one of the most stress-free buying experiences I have ever had. On a day that I thought I would only be test driving a vehicle, I ended up driving one off the lot and taking it home!Tom was very thorough in showing me all the features of my new car, including setting up the bluetooth for my phone. He walked me through the manuals, the websites that help me maintain my car, set up my first oil change and more. He really made this all very easy.I also wanted to mention, that when I had a question about a certain dash light that had come on, the service department was quick to find the cause and remedy it without any issues. Matt in service was also a pleasure to deal with and I look forward to working with him in the future on the maintenance of my new car.The next time my family needs a car I will certainly look at North End Subaru and Tom to help make the car buying experience a pleasurable one. I will also recommend my friends to this dealership for their quality staff and vehicles.

I have never been so pleased with a dealership than this one! Prior to buying my Mazda3 from this dealership, I went through xxxx and back at a previous dealership and severely burned by others customer service and lack of care for a customer (that being me). I went through Frank C over in Subaru because he helped out my fiance in the past and he went above and beyond to make sure I was taking care of! He knew my situation with my current vehicle and prior history with dealerships. He AND his general manager made sure I drove off with that vehicle THAT DAY! My mother co signed the loan for me and they even had a driver go out to my mom so she could sign the loan because she was unable to make it to the dealership herself. They have been nothing but a joy to work with and a relief off my back of searching for the EXACT car I have always wanted. I would recommend this to anyone who wants their worth and time valued because they did exactly that! I have never been more happy and my car is the best! thank you again!! :D

***You Will Be Better Going SomeWhere Else, I Promise, Do Not Buy Used Here**** ***Also Do Not Buy A Car From Dave***This dealership was very nice to me before the purchase of my very first WRX. A car I had dreamed of owning for quite some time actually. Once the purchase was made, the relationship quickly changed.I bought a 2013 WRX with 29,000 miles (Not Certified) with a 36,000 mile bumper to bumper and a 60,000 Drive Train. At this point, I barely had the car for a couple of months and there were noises coming from the lower part of the car, also the clutch was burning when not in use.Over the course of 9 months, I brought my vehicle in 5 times for repairs. I actually had the vehicle in service for 6 weeks out of the first 8 months. ***I ASKED THAT THEY BUY BACK THE CAR SINCE IVE HAD NOTHING BUT ISSUES, THEY SAID THEY WOULD GIVE ME A LOWER AMOUNT BECAUSE THE CAR IS DAMAGED....YOU SOLD ME A DAMAGED CAR*****Replaced Small Block on my Engine at 40,000 miles!!!!*****Replaced Clutch System**Worked on Heat Shield, problem came back**Engine Noises**Turbo Now Making Noises**Paint Chipping off of my car*Best part of the story, I just traded in this piece of crap after losing $2000 on the trade in, I found myself a nice Range Rover at a dealership far far away from this place.Please, if you have made it down this far, I have purchased many vehicles....Do not buy a used car from this place, I have no experience with their new vehicles but if i owned a dealership and my customer was sold a product that did not work. I would do my best to make them happy.If I could give 0 stars, I definitely would.

I recently bought a brand new WRX from North End Subaru. It was an extremely positive buying experience. The salesman, Thomas Sawvelle, was particularly great. I have had so many negative experiences with dealerships in the past, with salesman trying to scam, rush, and pressure me. Tom is the opposite of all of these people. He took the time to explain absolutely everything to me, and was very knowledgeable about any subaru, in the greatest detail. He added no pressure and showed real patience with me throughout the process. He even took the time to take me out twice and give me tips on how to drive better, explain different trim levels, and show me many things I didn't know about the car. He helped to fight and get me an unbelievable deal on the car, as well as standing up for me to make sure I received every penny I could for my trade-in. There aren't many salesmen like Tom, and I've had such a positive experience that I'll be sure to tell everyone I know about North End Subaru, and particularly Tom. I showed up on Saturday to look at a used Toyota on the lot. Frank, my stepfather, and I went over the paperwork, and I picked the car up today. Frank went over all of the paperwork with no problems. He is a very nice guy and he is very helpful. He also went over the rewards program at North End Subaru which is awesome. He even filled the car's gas tank which was very nice of him. My sales person was Thomas Sawvelle. This was my first time buying a vehicle. I did not feel pressured. Tom took the time to explain all my options and helped me narrow down a good choice. Since this was new to me, it took me a little while to get my finances in order and he was patient and understanding, allowing me the time to feel confident in my decision. The most pleasant/helpful employees that I have the experience of doing business with. Frank Lajoie, the sales rep, is one of the best/nicest sales people, that I have ever encountered. His pleasant helpful, can do attitude, really puts the customer at ease. This review does not at all reflect negatively towards the Dealership or its members. The North End Subaru and the employees made it right. Thank You! I'll be back!! Here is my story, spans 9 months. I have now owned my 2016 CrossTrek Limited since Dec 18, 2015, and decided its time to write my review. This story is long, actually starts May 14th 2015 the first day I owned my "1st" CrossTrek 2015 Limited. This will be the shorten version of my experience, hopefully I will be able convey my message as best as possible. The long version (my Journal) will be with Subaru America/Subaru Corp....another story.Decided it was time to replace my present vehicle with possibly my first ever Subaru! Replace vehicles about every 4 years. I'm a Customer Service Engineer for a large Japanese company, that requires extensive travel in the US,Canada, Mexico and Europe. I typically drive locally for business in excessive of 35K miles per year in my own vehicle.My son, an avid Subaru guy suggested I visit North End and work with the Sales Consultant he had just recently purchased a car from (Spring 2015). My son sets up a meeting with Frank Lajoie and soon after I went to meet Frank at North End to discuss my needs.Frank is a very personable, easy to talk to, joke with and a avid Patriot fan...the man got my vote :). Anyway, we do the typical several visits "find the car, the options, test drive and haggle on price" etc. For the most part it was a enjoyable experience and working with Frank was a pleasure, always kept me posted on the car status or any changes.He ordered the car, delivery set for 3 wks. Well that order fell through, had to reorder, wait the 8 weeks for the color of my choice. I could not wait the 8 weeks, so Frank made arrangement for me to purchase the Showroom CrossTrek with all the same options , but not my first choice for color, but a nice Blue....good with that.May 14th I picked up my 2015 CrossTrek Limited with about every option including keyless start/entry, Eyesight system and the best Informational system(navigation GPS,SXM radio,Blue Tooth) Subaru has to offer. Noticed immediately that my SXM radio was malfunctioning, signal would be lost for periods of 3-90 secs, repeatedly, continues problem regardless of terrain or location. Understand, I am very familiar with the SXM system, have it in my two Fords, house, Vt camp and use it in all my rental vehicles during business travel. Never have I experience this kind of reception in any of the multiple types of vehicles I have driven or owned!!! Days after, my Informational system touchscreen locks up and malfunctions along with multiple irritating side issues. Even the best of equipment can occasionally fail, understand that. Schedule and take the vehicle to the first of many service visits. After component replacements, which repairs everything except the SXM radio, firmware upgrades and troubleshooting continued to hopefully repair the SXM. No luck! The Director Service Andy Voelling meets with me, tells me he is sorry, but that Service is out of ideas and worst, Subaru Tech Support has no more tech suggestion......... He recommends that I contact Subaru America's Customer Retail Services, file a claim and elevate this to a higher level. This now has become exclusively a Subaru America issue to deal with and unfortunately North End Subaru is caught in the middle .From this point on Oct. 2015 until days before I picked up my replacement 2016 Crosstrek Limited in December, I endured several months of frustrating and aggravating contact with Subaru America and their Senior Representative Andre Sullivan. Subaru America/his inability or lack of interest in resolving the issue with the vehicles problem was the worst experience of Customer Service I have ever encountered, either as a consumer or as a seasoned Customer Service Engineer! Unfortunately, Subaru America does not follow or live up to their Mission Goal and/or Customer Service Policy posted on their website.....not even close! This is something I will take up with Subaru America...the long story.So, long story short, through a meeting with the North End Subaru's General Sales Manager Jesse Manning, Subaru America offers me a replacement vehicle, buy back my vehicle! However, as part of the deal I am expected to pay a Usage Fee and depreciate of the vehicle for the 7 months I have owned it amounting to excess of $ 5000.00 . I found this to be unacceptable and unfair since I reported this problem one day after I drove the car off the dealership lot, and for 7 months, Subaru America could not fix or even had a fix for the problem! I asked that the General Sales Manager to contact the Senior Representative Andre Sullivan and inform him I refuse Subaru America's offer and will seek out legal representation.Jessie understood the frustration I was feeling and suggested that he would meet with Marty Babineau, General Manager of North End Subaru the following day, see if the GM could help reach a mutual agreed upon resolution and Jesse would call me by end of that day.Well, received the call as promised, great news! General Manager had made the offer that North End Subaru would incur all the cost and fees required by Subaru America that were associated with replacing my vehicle, no out of pocket expense required by me!"My hat's off to you" Marty Babineau. I will be a return customer and will recommend North End Subaru to others!

I got there at 9:30 which was my appointment and didn't get out of there until 12:00 noon. I thought I was at the Doctors office. Ha! It was pleasant in the waiting room. TV, Coffee or Tea, bathroom. I read my book so the time went along. Service was very bust I guess. Overall it wasn't bad. Got my reading done. Love My Outback.

We are loyal North End Subaru fans... and Greg has just helped us purchase our 3rd Subaru. When my beloved 2003 Outback literally died a few weeks back, Greg patiently took us through a smooth transition from, "Oh, no! I can't live without my Outback!" to what would really suit our needs. Greg took the care and time to show us all our options and educated us on all the new innovations on newer Subarus. I must admit I Love my new 2016 Outback and appreciate all the time Greg took to teach me how to use the Starlink and other safety and entertainment features. Five Stars, well-earned! We purchased a new Subaru Forrester from North End Subaru last year. That sales experience was so positive that, one year later, we have just now purchased a new Subaru Outback Premium from this dealership. We found our salesman for both car purchases, Frank Capoccia, to be highly knowledgeable, very honest and personable, and refreshingly straightforward. Price negotiations for both new cars were completed in only a few minutes; we got a very reasonable price in both cases, and there was no hint of the pricing rope-a-dope that one often experiences with car dealers. Buying a new car should be an exciting and pleasurable experience, as it is at North End Subaru, not an ordeal, as occurs with many other dealerships.

There was no pressure, and he didn't haunt us with calls like some dealerships do. We took our time in test driving the Forester and Crosstek spanning several visits to the dealership. Once we decided on the Forester, Tom kept us in the loop as to when we would get it in (we wanted a specific color), and when it would be ready for pickup.Since the purchase I had one follow-up question for Tom. I went into North End Subaru not knowing what to really expect. I have never gone car shopping at this location before. When I got there a salesman by the name of David Fayard introduced himself to me and was the most helpful salesman I have ever had.He make my experience there great. He had so much knowledge about all the vehicles that I was interested in. He made me feel important and like I was his number one priority. I am coming back in the dealership later on next week to talk to him again. I have not purchased a vehicle yet. I definitely have my eye on a few. I bought a new STI this weekend at North End Subaru. It was the best car buying experience in my life. I'm 58 and have bought 15 cars so far . Prior to my trip to Lunenberg, I visited the usual suspects in the Metrowest area closer to my home in Dedham. My interactions with the others were rather negative; one dealer did not have the cars they advertised online, noting they put the information on their website before the car arrives. Two others offered me ridiculous bids on my trade,so bad that I could not consider doing a deal ( Far below the KBB or Edmunds valuation), One guy gave me a number without even looking at my car or driving it, stating that their dealership considers all cars to be in average condition. (My trade-in had 20,000 miles and had its oil changed at the dealer every 3,000 miles, paint and wheels in great shape). Certainly not an average condition car!So, when I made an online inquiry about a car to North End I was not expecting much given the behavior of the others. I was pleasantly surprised when Bob Waite contacted me. He was friendly and professional in his email and phone contact. He reminded me that we previously met a few years ago when I was just starting to look at my first Subaru. I didn't buy that one from him, but he was still quite gracious. So later that morning I drove out to see the car, met with Bob and his manager Frank Capoccia and we came to an agreement. They were very fair in valuing my trade, giving me a real offer (as opposed to what I experienced elsewhere). I took the new car home later that day, it was clean and prepped properly. Bob went over all of the features. He treated my wife and me wonderfully. Tom Liddle helped as well, he shopped financing and found a great rate at a local credit union ( that beat Subaru's rate). I strongly recommended North End Subaru. It is a well run business, staffed by great sales professionals. Worth the drive!

Have bought two used vehicles at North End and although I have been happy with the cars and had my service done there for the most part, even though I was told by more than one person that I was paying more than I should. When I bought this car, the visor on the drivers side was a little loose and would slide down on occasion, but I didn't really think it was worth it to bother service, I could live with it.I have not been able to talk on my cell phone when I am driving because my car does not have that feature so I recently purchased a device to enable me to answer my cell phone while I was driving, This device attaches to the visor on the drivers side, and you guessed it....when I put the device where it goes, the visor comes down and there is no way to get it to stay up.I stopped at North End this morning and was told that there is no way to tighten the visor, I would have to replace it at a cost of $85.00 for the visor and $50.00 to install it or I could trade the car.....No Thank You...if and when I replace the car it will be somewhere else.

I think just about anyone approaches the car buying experience with a healthy dose of skepticism. You hear stories of bad experiences and think to yourself that youll end up buying a car you didnt want and paying far more than you imagined. I know, Ive gone down that road before.After lots of research, I finally decided on a 2015 Subaru Crosstrek. After even more research regarding dealers and hearing what other said around town, I decided to try North End Subaru.I initially emailed the dealership with some questions on a car I saw online. I think I had a reply back within the hour from Jesse Manning, the Sales Manager. I headed down to the dealership a few days later and was met by Greg Nuorimo, one of the senior sales consultants who was expecting me. This was far and away the best car buying experience Ive had. Greg was straightforward, easy going, transparent, and possessed a wealth of knowledge on all things Subaru. He worked with me to find the car I wanted. Also, Greg and Jesse gave me a very fair and generous offer for my trade-in. Even working with the finance folks, Tom and Jason, was easy. No pressure to buy tons of extrasjust a clear, concise process.On the day I picked up my car, Greg went through all the features in detail and then we spent probably a 1/2 hour, if not more, reviewing everything in the car. I cant say enough about my experience theregood all around. This is my first Subaru and I can say that Ill definitely be back when its time to replace our other car.

I have NEVER had any issues with North End Subaru. In fact, whenever I bring my car in for a repair or some concern, they always take care of it. There was one time where I went in and they called and told me they couldn't recreate the issue I was describing to them. I started wondering if it was all in my head. Instead of just sending me away, the service manager, Andy, personally took my car for a drive with me. Luckily, he was able to hear what I was describing. He went above and beyond to make sure I left a happy customer. Ultimately, they were able to fix the problem, it was all covered under warranty, and I haven't had a problem since. It's little things like that, that make their team stand out from other dealerships. I live in Worcester and I make the drive out to Lunenberg even for a simple oil change. I've never had the customer service anywhere else that they give me.

As a life-long Subaru owner, I'm impressed with North End's low-pressure, honest approach to sales. My husband and I had been looking at many different makes and models before deciding on a Subaru. We had gone into the North End Subaru dealership three times before finally making up our minds and each time Frank Lajoie was very patient with us and more importantly ready and willing to answer the endless list of questions we had. I was so pleased with my experience at North End Subaru! After shopping for a week with my mother for a used car for her, we went a little further out of our way to visit North End Subaru, and had the pleasure of working with David Fayard. My mother is incredibly particular (about everything), and he patiently helped us for over 2 hours in the afternoon sun, explaining all the differences between the makes and models of Subarus (and the Mazdas next door) and honestly comparing the good and bad of those cars with other makes and models on the road. This was even after he knew that we were not able to purchase a car on that particular day. He was absolutely NO PRESSURE, which was fantastic. He had a great sense of humor and was the most patient car salesman (new or used) I have ever worked with in my life. I highly recommend North End Subaru, and Dave in particular, and will be returning for our purchase!

I went there to look and ended up buying, no pressure from Frank Lajoie. A great guy. The car sells its self. I guess it was all those ads on the TV that convinced me to just go up there and try one out. I'v been wanting to get there but have been not well. Just had Brain surgery July 18th, and it did solve all of my pain. So it was time to get a new car, so I got a 2014 Limited Edition Outback. I just love it. Even though Frank went over all of the features I know I will be calling him up to ask more questions. You can't get it all in one shot. It's a lot to take in. I did bring my Son-in Law with me as he was in the car business for over 20 years and he know the lingo, I don't. That was very helpful with my decisions. I give Frank a A+++++. Bob was great when we bought our previous Outback so we went back to him. He really helped with all the new technologies and features..... not as simple as the old cars were!!! I know I can call Bob anytime to review the "how-to's" and to check on glitches (mostly my fault). Visited dealership, looked over various models without a 'hovering' salesperson. When had made up my mind and wanted more specific information - was attended to promptly - took a test drive and the dealership was able to locate a car that fit my interests exactly. Although I did not purchase a Mazda, I did purchase a Subaru from North End Subaru. I recently received a phone call from the salesman I purchased the car from, Dave Graves, to follow up as it is the 3 year anniversary of the purchase of my car. The purpose of the call was to make sure I was still satisfied with the car and the service I had been receiving. First, I couldn't believe he would take the time to follow up after 3 years. I did mention that my ipod didn't seem to be working anymore with the USB port. Dave Graves took the time to call the service department to see what the possible cause was. He called me back to say that I needed a new USB port installed, and that he checked to see if the service department had the part in stock and, possible times I could get an appointment to best suit my schedule. Again, as always, Dave Graves went above and beyond what I would ever have expected. During that phone call, I found out he was now working in the Mazda building. As I have been more than pleased with his dedication to his job and customers, I was concerned he would no longer be my salesman. However, he assured me that I would still be his customer and to contact him with any concerns I had. I can defintitely say when I need a need vehicle, he will be the person I contact. Thank you North End Subaru and Mazda, and Dave Graves for the great service! I will be posting this review on both the Mazda and Subaru site.

My husband and I have been looking at the Subaru Forester for quite some time, and when it was time to make a purchase, we stopped by the North End lot just to take a look.We didn't think the dealership would be open on a Sunday, so we just stopped by to look at some sticker prices. To our surprise, out walked Frank Lajoie to offer his assistance. I NEVER imagined we'd be back the following day to pick up our new car!The dealership itself is clean and comfortable inside, and the entire Salesforce is friendly and professional. At North End, there is not that high-pressure feel that you'll get at some other dealerships. Our experience with Frank was very positive. He was able to answer any/all of our questions, and one thing I know influenced our decision to buy our Forester at North End was Frank's infectious attitude of "I really like my job and enjoy what I'm doing", and his obvious loyalty to a dealership whose management he firmly endorsed.

I went into North End Subaru to purchase the 5th Subaru my family has bought from North End in the past 6 years. I went into knowing what exact features, trim and color I wanted. After I decided the 2015 Forester would best meet my needs, I was then told the black with black leather I had my heart set-on was no longer available. Mike Pinto, my salesman, could tell how disappointed I was and 2 days later, after the dealership made several calls, they found the exact car I wanted and made arrangements to work with a dealer out of state to get me the vehicle I wanted. I had a fantastic experience buying a new 2015 Subaru Outback from North End Subaru with the help of Greg Nuorimo. I had bought a 2011 Outback from a different dealer out of state and Greg helped me realize I had gotten a bad deal and could afford a newer model that would be better for me in the long run. I ended up doing a lot or research to be sure this was actually the case and the results all pointed to the fact that Greg was absolutely right, Not only did Greg help me get the car I wanted, he did so with patience, enthusiasm, and great knowledge of the cars he sold. Unlike the out of state dealer, all members of North End Subaru who helped me had a sense of pride about what they were doing. I felt great walking out of there knowing the members of that dealership truly want to help me find what's right for me and will do what they can to make it work. The car I was hoping to buy was on back order for months and Greg was able to get it here within weeks. I can't speak highly enough of my experience there and I will definitely be back again for service on my car and a new car when the time comes.

I brought my 2009 Subaru Impreza to North End when the check engine light came on. It was also due for a 60,000 mile checkup and I had also neglected maintenance for some time. Nobody made me feel bad because of this and the gave me a car to use while they had mine. I asked them not to do anything unless they checked with me as I am retired and on a fixed income and this would be an unexpected expense. True to their word they called me several times to keep me up to date what the situation with the car repairs was. Josh was able to get a huge portion of the bill covered by my extended warranty which saved me a LOT of money and I am not sure if he will understand just how much I appreciated it and how much of a difference it made to me. All the work was done to perfection and all my questions were answered as though they were important although I do think some of them were a little on the dumb side. I was treated with kindness and respect the entire time. My car was washed and vacuumed before it was returned to me and Josh went over everything they had done on the car in a manner in which I totally understood.This is my second Subaru and when and if I need another car it will definitely be a Subaru and it will definitely come from North End and it will definitely be serviced there. Thank You

Absolute nightmare. I came to an agreement, binding contract and all, and waited two weeks for the car to come in by way of another dealership after they said I may need to wait a week. The day I was to pick up the car, they called me and left a voicemail saying that the car had been double sold and there was nothing to be done about it. They extended weak offers of reconciliation and would not acquiesce to fulfilling the agreement with the higher trim model of the car I had a receipt for that was listed on their lot. Jesse Manning, a sales manager, supplied a fantastic sample for a "Customer Service 101: How Not To Treat a Customer" course. Calling to get to the bottom of the double sale, he lasted about 20 seconds on the phone before I had to ask for HIS manager. Marty, the manager of the whole place, kind of tried to come up with an alternative to make me happy, but once I refused to settle, he assigned others to communicate with me because "he became sick and had to rush home". That's how I feel. Sick over this whole experience. Like Marty says, they are in the middle of no where and depend on their reputation to attract their customers. Don't waste your gas.

I took my 2014 Forester here for the 22,000 mile service. The service was supposed to include tire rotation, oil filter change, oil change, "multi-point" inspection, top fluids, set correct tire pressure, etc..In the past I've had problems with dealership service so I always mark my tires, and the oil filter to ensure that the service actually gets done. Upon arriving I TOLD the service desk of the problems I've had at another Subaru dealership. The rep (never told me his name) assured me they strive for 100% customer satisfaction and want me to feel confident bringing my vehicle there. Maybe tell the tech too pay some extra attention with this vehicle then?A short time after they take in my vehicle the tech asks to have a word with me. He tells me that he recommends that I replace my engine air filter and cabin air filter and the price was outrageous. I explain I just replaced both 5 months ago at my 15,000 mile service only 5 months earlier. I tell them no thanks, easy and cheap job I can do that myself if they really need replacing so soon. Never once have I had to replace a cabin air filter 5 months / 7,500 miles under normal driving conditions.I get the word that the vehicle is all set. Pay then walk out to the parking lot and immediately check the tires (that I had marked "FR" "BR"; front right, back right ) and sure enough the tires were not rotated despite the fact that I had paid for this service. I go back in and tell the service department that the tires weren't rotated and I know because I had marked them just before coming there and they are all in the exact same position. The adviser calls the tech who worked on my vehicle out and asks if he rotated the tires and the tech claims he did. I then go out and show him where I marked the tires. He seemed baffled so I believe that he thinks he rotated them but it must have been a mistake. They offer to rotate them again and take it back in. While waiting I asked to speak to the service manager who was actually very nice, seemed apologetic and understanding. It gives me an uneasy feeling knowing routine things are being missed and most customers would never even know (nor would if I didn't start marking the parts!) He even gave me a free oil change.We eventually get the tires situation straightened out (it was taken in a 3rd time because I realized the other side got reversed back to the original position). Great. As I'm leaving the service adviser gives me a print out showing the service intervals and maintenance schedule for my vehicle. As I already had known, and as it states on the scheduled printout they gave me it calls for service in intervals of 7,500 miles. Well I get in the vehicle and look at the little sticker they place in the top left windshield that shows when you are due for your next oil change. The sticker as well as the dash maintenance settings are both showing that I should service in 6,000 miles. 1500 miles sooner than I stated. Would never have noticed this if I wasn't already checking everything over.So I go back in again and tell them. Another "mistake" apparently. They reprint a new sticker for me. At this point I'm furious and leave without saying anything. I can't help but think to myself they are running a very careless service here.That's not the end of this. After I arrive home I now feel I have to check EVERYTHING they supposedly touched to make sure things are "right". Let it all cool down in the garage and I measure the tire pressure and one tire is reading at 37.5 while the others are about 34.5! They didn't even set the correct tire pressure! I always keep an eye on my tire pressure and if nothing else had happened this wouldn't even bother me. But yet another thing that isn't right.Who knows what else they didn't check/do... I would never trust this place with my car again!UPDATE: After posting this honest review of my experience here I got a response from the dealership saying they'd like to speak to me personally about the situation and Andrew Turner provided his cell phone number for me to call/text him directly. I text him and tell him I'd be happy to speak to him and he can call me at this number. The following day I receive a call from the General Manager, Marty Babineau. He asks if I have time to discuss. Sure I say and I talk him through my experience and history with bad service with Subaru and explained the reason I left this review.Instead of just simply apologizing Marty then goes on to tell me it's his turn to talk. How they are very highly rated with one of the highest customer satisfaction levels in the country. He then says to me that my review is a contains lies and accuses me of slander!!!! I honestly couldn't believe what I had heard. I told him that I simply wrote a completely honest review based on my experience there and questioned how is this slander? His response is that he went to school for law and therefore has a better understanding of what slander is than me! At this point I go from being calm and courteous to angry after being accused of slander and completely disrespected. Really???? This is how you treat dissatisfied customers? He then goes on to say if I want to take this to the next level he will get his attorney's involved! At this point I tell him I'm done with this conversation. He tells me we are done and that I should never to take my vehicle there again. Real professional!

I bought the car of my dreams, the 2015 Subaru Forester. I also got something I hadn't expected. RESPECT. In the past, when I've shopped for cars, the salesperson always seemed to think my husband or son knew more about what I wanted than I did. I visited North End Subaru twice; first with my son and then with my husband and son. From the moment I walked through the door for my test drive, until the moment I received the keys to my car, Frank Capoccia never once forgot that I was the customer. He answered all my questions and was very knowledgable about all the car's features. I never felt rushed or pressured. The whole experience was comfortable and relaxed. We had multiple visits to the dealer as we tried to decide between a Subaru and several other small crossover SUVs. Called my sales rep, David Graves because I had an issue with one of my lights. I had bought my 2011 Subaru from him a few months earlier and he was just the nicest guy. The GM Marty Babineau not only offered to pay for the service but also offered to have it done at a local Subaru shop near me since I live about an hour away from them. Although I purchased my Subaru Outback 2 years ago and did a review at that time, I felt strongly about doing a follow-up review. I purchased my car from Dave Graves as I said, 2 years ago. I was extremely impressed at that time with the friendly service, attention to detail when explaining the various aspects of the car, and showing a film on the safety features of the car. Since that time, I have continued to bring my car in for service. The reason for the follow-up review is to share that my experience was not unique. I have since recommended North End Subaru and, specifically, Dave Graves to several friends and co-workers. All of have gone, and purchased a vehicle from him. Every one said the same thing, it was a stress-free no pressure approach with someone who put them at ease and did not feel like they were being "fed a sales line". You know a salesperson is telling the truth when they in fact also own a Subaru. The reason for the follow up is this. I recently purchased a new phone and was having difficulity pairing with the car. When I called Dave Graves to ask for advice he, without hesitation, told me to bring the car to him and he would help me. To me, that means alot. Most sales people don't care once they have made the sale. I have and will continue recommending North End Subaru.

Bob is more a "configurater" than a "salesman". He is interested in getting the right car with the right mix of features. He doesn't push anything in particular. I imagine it's because no one that comes in there really needs to be "sold" on Subaru, so it's just a matter of getting exactly what you need...and Bob is good at managing that process. I get the feeling from casually talking with the other reps this is a feature of this dealership. I've also had experience with their service department on an older car and they are pretty much in the same boat. Really a pretty laid back place.

My mom and brother owned subarus in the past and they always had such an easy time navigating wintery New England roads. North End Subaru is about 5 minutes away from my house so it was the first (and last) place I looked. I brought my dad with me to look at their pre-owned inventory. I saw an impreza wagon and took it for a test drive. LOVED IT. After a few days I ended up purchasing it. I worked with Dave and I have to say he was such a pleasure to work with. He even came outside to meet my dog. He recognized that she was weary of new people so he took his time introducing himself. I had such a positive experience with North End and would recommend their service and expertise to every one!

Had an issue with my alarm system.. Remotes not working and alarm kept going off. Both remotes. Called and got prices of remotes (expensive). They had in stock in the parts department. Came in an was expecting to pay a couple of hundred of dollars and Rick in Subaru Service suggested to try the batteries first. Didn't know they had them. Battery's in both remotes needed replacement..Rick replaced them and tested them for me. On my way in 15 minutes and under 20 bucks. Thanks Rick

We have never owned a Subaru and quite honestly had expected to purchase a competitor's vehicle. I had read reviews of the Forester and decided that I needed to give it a look before purchasing something else. We'll, I loved the Forester. By far the roomiest and most comfortable small SUV for a long legged person such as myself. It handled beautifully and the reliability and safety records speak for themselves. Greg was the perfect salesman. He was extremely knowledgable and helpful without being pushy. When we decided to purchase , but wanted an interior color other than the one the dealership had, Jesse found the car that we wanted and made it happen. I could not be happier with our experience.

9/6/2014: Buying a Forrester was our third car from North End. We come from over 30 miles just to buy cars form them because they are so genuine and get the job done with no issues. We've worked with Greg and Mr. Luddi from financial each time and everything is always easy and flawless. This time we called to tell them what we wanted, got an appointment the next day, came in and brought the car we wanted, and drove it off the lot next day. Truly a great buying experience. Initially we went to North End Subaru with the intention of just checking out an Outback for a comparison. We were planning on buying a Toyota Venza. After spending some time with Frank and taking a couple of test drives we made a decision that day and bought the Outback. Frank is very knowledgeable (30 years of experience), friendly, low pressure and he really listened. He and Tom put together a solid deal for us and made things happen quickly. Was told (on a Wed.) we could take vehicle to our mechanic for inspection once service repairs were completed (Friday morning) and that they'd hold the car with a $500. Deposit. They charged $500. To my credit card and DID NOT hold the car. They sold the car before my son was scheduled to pick it up on Friday morning, and did not even let us know until I called to verify that the car was ready for pick up - that's when they told me the car had been sold (all while they still had retained my $500. Deposit). Based on this experience, I consider them to be very deceptive and unethical.

I have to say I didn't know it could be so easy! The customer service was personal and informative. Wayne and Mike were great! They showed me what every single button could do, and made sure that all of my needs were met. I was in and out of there in about two hours with the car of my dreams and a really great interest rate. Several weeks ago I made the decision to buy a new car. I went to several different dealerships and drove countless cars. I also went to the car show in Boston. Each time I experienced the personnel working for Subaru, I was impressed. It started with the car show and ended in Lunenburg with Frank Lajoie. I am now the proud owner of a 2014 Subaru Outback Limited. From the moment we walked into the dealership, we had a positive experience. What a team they have built in Lunenburg. We were never pressured to buy anything. We were given the opp. to drive whatever we wanted. When we wanted to drive another option package of the Outback, Frank literally ran to get the plates on it and the keys. When we were finally decided on the car we wanted, they had it transferred here from Vermont in less than a week. When it came time to get a loan, Tom Liddle worked and worked til I got the best loan rate....again from Subaru and not my bank (DCU). When it came time to get the car it was Frank's day off but there he was waiting with the keys when we pulled in! He went through all the "bells and whistles" with us and even called the following day to see if we had any questions. I honestly cannot say I have ever had such a friendly, relaxed and genuine experience when I have purchased a vehicle. On top of all this, Subaru has a rewards program which offers perks at many local venues. Really creating a sense of community in our global world. I cannot recommend them enough and the final point is that Subarus are great cars and really don't need all this extra customer service to sell themselves...

I have just had another positive experience at North End Subaru. Yesterday, I visited the dealership to see Frank Lajoie, who has helped me with a total of three transactions getting me into the Subaru I want to drive over the past several years. Yesterday he helped me close out the lease on my 2011 Outback and to find the next leased car that would fit my needs and budget. He did it again! And today I drove off with my new leased 2014 Outback. Frank made sure that I understood the maintenance schedule for my new car, the new Rewards program, and even programed my phone so that I can use the Bluetooth feature of my phone to make calls using buttons on my steering wheel, without ever taking my eyes off of the road. Frank made sure I road tested two different cars I was looking at before I made my final decision. Then Tom made sure I could keep my vanity license plate which was important to me. He also took me through some of the financial paperwork. Jacob was able to finish up with that today.As usual, the Subaru team lead by Frank was outstanding. Through my past experience with the service department, I look forward to the same high standards as I continue to have my new car serviced at North End Subaru. Thank you Frank.

$69. and some cents for labor only (not parts, total was close to $100.) to replace a couple light bulbs on a 2006 Impreza. A headlight and the license plate lights. Took approximately an hour after being told it would be a 1/2hr for a job that admittedly took 15min.. I asks for the justification for the labor charge. It was explained, "thats what i was told". Thats an excusenot a justification.Very disappointed.

I bought my brand new WRX from North End after months of shopping around at other "quality" dealerships. Being a young person made it very difficult to even look at the car regardless of my credit score at other dealerships. They wouldn't let me test drive one even with years of driving experience with a variety of Subaru models. They assumed that I was a "punk kid" that just wanted to try and beat on a performance vehicle. That all changed when I talked to Wayne Brown from Mazda. Immediately, I thought he would try and sway me towards a new Mazda rather than a Subaru but he was genuine and sincere and had no problem helping me out with a Subaru purchase. He, along with Jesse Manning, let me test drive the car without hesitation before even knowing my credit. This was a breath of fresh air compared to the other dealerships I had previously encountered. They did their very best to accommodate my needs and listened to what I could afford and we worked something out from there. Wayne was by far the most helpful salesman I've dealt with in my lifetime and I've already recommended him to three of my friends. Greg Nuorimo showed me how all the bells and whistles worked with the car and I must say, he did an excellent job. All three of these men were courteous and understanding at all times and this was the first dealership I've been to that didn't bully me around or neglect to even let me try a car out before buying. I will definitely continue to recommend this dealership to my peers and I will most certainly be seeing Wayne again in the future.

The environment was friendly, with no hassle and no pressure. Many auto dealerships claim to be friendly and hassle-free, but most fall short of that goal. I was much impressed with North End Subaru - not just because of the ease of price negotiation (which was agreed to over the phone in 5 minutes!) but by the genuinely friendly and helpful support I received both during and after my car purchase. Mike and Frank in Sales were both very informative and knowledgeable, which was certainly much appreciated. The manager, Marty, quickly stepped right up when a (very minor) issue arose regarding the options provided with my new car - Marty was right on top of it, and really made me feel like a valued customer by ensuring that the issue was resolved to my satisfaction.I can't speak to their service department yet, but as the owner of 3 other Subarus, I am hoping to start using North End Subaru as my primary go-to service location as well - hopefully they are as good as the sales and management team!- John from Mason, NH

The staff here is extremely friendly and helpful. I went on a Saturday without an appointment and found a car I was interested in. I went inside to find a salesman and was greeted by Michael. He pulled the car up and let me get inside to check it out then we took it for a ride. While on the test drive Michael was very knowledgeable of the car and it's features. He was able to show me the car fax and tell me about the previous owner. When we got back to the dealership we signed all the paperwork for the car with Michael and the finance stuff with Jason. Paperwork was very quick. They were able to give me a fair amount for my trade in. I came back on Monday to sign the final paperwork and pick up the car. I was out of there in about a half hour. When I got the car it had been detailed and the gas was filled up. I can't recommend this dealership and thank Michael and Jason enough. I will definitely go back again when it's time.

I came up from southern Rhode Island to look at an elusive stick-shift Honda Element they had for sale on their clearance lot. The amount of work invested in this vehicle to make it ready for sale was very impressive, considering Northend doesn't even sell new Hondas. It was fully detailed, and even had a new set of all-season tires!Joe is a no-pressure salesman, and did everything in his power to accommodate me through my first solo car-buying experience. I was able to test drive it as long I liked, which isn't always an option since most other used cars have the gas light on before you can even pull out of the lot.The asking price was more than reasonable, but I did have one concern: That the missing rear headrests would make it difficult to have the car pass inspection, and would cost me a limb or two to replace. Joe gave me his word that he'd locate the originals, or if necessary, order me a new pair. Sure enough, a new pair arrived at my doorstep a week after closing the sale.Buying from Northend is well worth a 2-hour drive, as their reputation for excellent customer service truly precedes them. In the end, I got the car I'd been searching for, in like-new condition, for $75 less than the original price. (It turns out the windshield had it small chip in it that went unnoticed when the Element was first examined by the dealership!)

We were traveling far from home (Kansas). The previous day we had called a Subaru dealership in Manchester NH about a problem with the driver's power seat not operating, but they would not look at it without an appointment. Since we were traveling to another state, we couldn't wait a few days for their first open appointment. Along the road through Massachusetts we drove past North End Subaru and we decided to ask them for help. As I approached the service desk, it was clear they were an active and busy group, but they fit us in. We waited in a very comfortable waiting area with free quality refreshments and free Wi-Fi. An hour later, they informed us that the wiring connector was damaged and they repaired it and secured it together, though the normal procedure would be to replace the wiring harness with a new seat track/motor assembly. The fee was free; an unexpected courtesy not usually extended to out of state travelers. We had expected a hefty bill. We walked out to our car to find it freshly washed; another added courtesy. If we didn't live 1500 miles away, we would be using this dealership for all our Subaru servicing.

I came to North End Subaru looking to trade in my Honda Civic for a Forester. After seeing the commercials for the 2014 I really wanted to take a look at them. Frank Capoccia made this the easiest decision I've ever made. He showed me all the new features & benefits on the 2014 and after I test drove told him I would be coming back on Sunday to test drive again. Just drove home my 2013 World Rally blue WRX I bought from Mike Babineau. Before stopping at North End Subaru I stopped at another dealership and was dissatisfied with the sales personnel there; meeting Mike was a pleasant experience. Mike wasn't pushy at all and worked at my pace instead of forcing me to do something I didn't want to do. My WRX came with built in bluetooth and he connected the cell phone I have to it, I didn't even know my phone could do it!Tom Liddle handled the financing and dealt with the RMV so I didn't have to and that was great, no one likes the RMV. Tom was excellent to deal with; everything was right to the point and he didn't keep me waiting around for paperwork forever.I think I'll only be buying Subaru's as long as I live in the North East.

We were shopping for a Mazda CX-5 at several dealerships. Jason contacted me following a truecar.com request. I explained that who we bought from would depend mostly on how are trade was valued (the lack of any real negotiating room on the CX-5 due to its popularity made the trade price the differentiating factor). I told him I didn't want to drive the hour to North End without some assurance. After providing all the details, Jason worked with his team and phoned me back to say they could meet my trade request (subject to vehicle inspection). We arrived and they did exactly as they said. They obtained the CX-5 we wanted and the deal was quick and easy. Tom Liddle did a great job with the business end of the deal including awesome finance rate. I have purchased 3 Subarus from them and all three cars were the highest quality product with no problems. Our salesman, Frank Lajoie, couldn't do enough for us. He was very professional and he knew everything about the car we wanted to purchase (2013 Subaru Impreza). We appreciated that he didn't push us into a sale. The dealership was very accomodating. Frank Capoccia did whatever he could to make the purchase within our budget. After we decided to purchase this car, Frank Lajoie followed up a week later to update us as to when we could expect the car. He called us as soon as the car arrived and we were signing papers by that afternoon. He again called us 4 days later to see how we were doing with our new car. I live in North Carolina, and recently fell in love with the Subaru BRZ ... I HAD to get my hands on one! Since Subaru only manufactured 4,000 - 5,000 this year, they are very hard to find. After learning that my old vehicle was in need of some serious TLC, I asked the sales Department to give me an estimate for a trade in of my 07 Forester. I found their trade value VERY aggressive compared to three other dealers and they came in lower then other dealers for a new 12' Impreza Sport. Right out of the gate, I was met with nothing but professionalism from Kristin and Frank. Some slight sales pressure was added on the first day I was on the lot but that is expected given the nature of the business. Regardless, Kristin and Frank worked with me find the exact vehicle, color, accessories, etc. In about a week, I received my new vehicle all shiny and new. There was a slight misunderstanding with some of the accessories that were supposed to be added but they made right and took care of me. I can't say enough about this experience and really appreciate the exceptional customer service. I would HIGHLY recommend working with Kristin and Frank.

I have been bringing my 2009 Legacy to Northend Subaru from the time of purchase. I now have almost 90,000 miles on it. I knew I was do for a 90,000 mile service and it was going to be a bigger service than normal. When I arrived for my appointment I was greeted by smiling faces and no big mob of people. The service department seemed to be very busy and straight forward. I was given a loaner for the day at no cost which was a great relieve because my ride had to cancel. The Service Manager John along with his partner Rick got me going and on my way quickly. Here is the kicker I received a phone call later on that day with the need to replace the front brake pads and resurface the front rotors. The price seemed a little high at first so I mentioned I would call them back. I quickly call a Sears and another local Garage that does Subaru repairs. I was evry surprised to see that Northend was only $18.00 more . The difference is that I can count on my Subaru still being a Subaru and not some aftermarket half Subaru. I called back to authorize the work and Rick told me to my surprise the car would still be ready today. I was thinking to myself this guy knows what he is doing. I came in later in the day after service had closed and went to pay my bill. I ran into a Sales Manager by the nam,e of Jesse who helped me get my car and pay my will,,which was lower than the orginial quote..Jesse was such a pleasure to talk to that I came back a week later and purchased a New Subaru from him.I kept my old one and will give it to my Daughter in May.. Thanks Guys for making service service again..The only real service department..

Working with Frank Lajoie was a great experience. Most car dealerships and sales people just try and give you a run around and try to sell you things you don't really need. Frank was straight forward and could tell we were on a budget as my wife and I have just started a family. Frank was very informative and helpful which made it easy to go back to the dealer to strike a deal on a Subaru Forester.

First Subaru, got a Forester - love it, got over 27 m.p.g. on commute. Frank Lajoie was outstanding, Bob Waite filled in nicely on Franks day off, they were all quite patient and helpful and they needed to be. Tom -Terrific. Jesse and Frank C, professional. No high pressure tactics at all. Bob was very enjoyable to work with, along with everyone there. The price wasn't the best but I didn't have a lot of time and the supply was limited due to the tsunami, so it was just supply and demand. I'm sure they could have sold the car I bought many times over. I would feel comfortable sending anyone I know there.

Sorry so slow to fill this out! We had a very pleasant experience at North End. Richard was great to work with and he went to great lengths to get us into a vehicle that met our specifications, and tracking down a replacement key fob for the Forester.We originally purchased our 2007 Outback at North End so it was one of the first places we came back to when we needed to add to our "fleet". The service team has always been very accomodating to us as well, so we're happy to continue doing business with North End.

We used to own a Subaru in the early 90-ies and since then had a soft spot for the brand. Now that we retired, we planned to buy a small (first ever new!) car and a pop-up tent and see the country. After some searching, we found the smallest car that could tow was Subaru Impreza and a smallest pop-up was an Aliner. Our son has bought his Mazda3 at North End and had greatly recommended it. The first time we visited, it was just exploratory, but we got to drive an Impreza, and Bob Waite answered patiently my husbands many questions from engines, 4WD, safety, and mainly the towing capability. We were impressed with the lack of sales pressure.After a month of deliberating we came back to buy. This time we dealt with Shawn Henrikson, the new kid on the block. Again, same questions, same reassurances, Shawn was showing good knowledge, but was wise enough to ask his elder colleagues a couple of things he was not sure about. We liked that. Next, to Tom Liddle to do the finances. Again, very friendly, efficient AND we took upon his recommendation of Liberty Mutual Insurance which saved us more than 40% compared with Commerce!We chose a blue color, but after searching all nearby dealers they could not find any. Yes, Japan has some problems these days. We settled on a silver.At pick-up date, so much paperwork, but everything went efficiently at my pace. After a final handshake, I drove the new car home to go through the papers and thumb through the manual. But ALAS!!! The manual said the Impreza cannot tow anything!We called back in panic, were ready to return the car, since it was the sole reason we bought it for, but were reassured again, that Impreza has the same engine and drive train as Forester which is rated for towing 2000 lbs (our pop-up weighs 1200). Next we will have the tow hitch installed by the RV dealer (they have hitches made specifically for Impreza, go figure!) We are still holding our breath, but will let you know.All in all, it was a pleasant experience, staff is patient and knowledgeable, and mainly they do not pressure you to buy.

We had an issue with the remote starter and after talking to J.J. he set up an appointment to remove the starter. Then, while in Litchfield S.C. we had an issue and called J.J. he directed us to Frank and he helped us find a dealer in that area and the issue was resolved in a timely manner. I can't say enough about North End and the staff great to work with and they truly believe the customer comes first. Thanks to all we have dealt with at this dealership.

This dealership has the feeling of a small family. You don't just buy a new car here. They walk you through all kinds of things. My favorite hand-holding was Rich helping me set up my bluetooth phone connection, since it was the first time I've had a car with that feature.I wanted a color/feature combination that wasn't at the dealership, but they quickly located a car that was what I wanted - in Rhode Island. The car was ready for me in 3 days. They did all the work with our insurance company getting our plates switched over to the new car. It was all pretty painless. (A couple of minor communication issues around the paperwork, but nothing to really complain about, it all went smoothly in the end.)The day after I picked up my car, I went back to pick up the official registration. As I walked into the office all the salesmen had big smiles on their faces and asked how I liked the new car. Really, I'm a big fan of this dealership, which is why I came back to buy my second car from them. I would highly recommend them. There is a feeling of trust in this place.

We went into the dealer without knowing anything about Subarus. Richard spent a lot of time showing us the different makes and models. We liked the stability of the all-wheel drive and the engine configuration. Being environmentally conscious, it also pleased us to hear that Subarus are built in zero landfill sites. I'd recommend this dealership to friends. They're friendly, informative, and helpful and focused on keeping customers happy.

I have been a Customer of North End Subaru since 1996, and have watched it evolve into a first class Dealership over that time. Although, in my ratings Ive noted Price as being Good, this is only because you will pay a smidgen more for a Subarus proven capabilities than that of other vehicles. Nevertheless, it is safe to say (for those of us who own one up here in Northeast winters) the Subaru practically sells itself, and it doesnt hurt when North Ends Sales personnel (Mike Pinto) impress by knowing their products. Moreover, Mike impresses by bending over backwards to meet your needs, first, be they features, functionality or financial (mine was financial), and not his Dealerships.But more important, as Ive learned over 50 years of purchasing and driving many different makes and models of automobile (both domestic and foreign), where a deals rubber meets the road is in a Dealerships Service Department, and North Ends is second to none in proven experience and professionalism of its personnel.From time to time, like many of us, Ive run into a exceptional service manager, or a damn good service technician, but from North Ends front desk (Rick and JJ) to its service bays, this Service Department has shown me, repeatedly, its personnel tower over those in other dealership service facilities, and over those same 50 years Ive seen no other Service Department including in several other local Subaru Dealerships that routinely achieves, on a daily basis, the level of technical excellence and professionalism that others will tell you they are striving to meet.Ill be frank. If you are considering a Subaru (and in this region, you should), and live in this general area, whether you are looking for new or pre-owned, I would start and end here at North End Subaru and forget the rest.

Dread is the only word that could describe my feelings about buying a car. Having a root canal always seemed more appealing. Happily at North End Subaru I experienced no pressure, good prices & sales people who didn't make my skin crawl! The entire process was extremely stress free. I especially appreciate that no one tried to push anything on me that I did not want. Other dealerships seem to think "NO" means "please keep trying to sell to me"! Rich was great to deal with. The test drive was actually fun. He has a great sense of humor. Seek him out, you won't regret it. For the first time in my life I can actually say I had a good car buying experience. I cannot recommend this dealership highly enough.

After spending a few days test driving other vehicles at other dealerships including Lexus and Audi, I had an epiphany. My driving heart is that of a Subaru. So, I returned to North End Subaru for the second time. I had previously leased a 2005 GT Legacy and loved it, and the service I received at North End. The environment there is always easy going and welcoming. I definitely pressured them a lot more than they pressured me, LOL. They got me the exact car I wanted from a sister dealership the next morning. Through it all Mike was fun and professional. On my test drive he even drove the car first to remind me how to drive stick! (It had been 2 years LOL) The other thing I really like is that all the people working seemed genuinely excited for me to buy the STI. Not that fake, cheesey salesman crap you get at most places, but they really couldn't wait for me to drive it off the lot, and enjoy it. Tom Liddle was also great to work with again. He made the paperwork painless and quick. I will definitely be going back for my third purchase when my lease is up! Thanks guys!

Buying our Outback and dealing with Frank was a pleasure, no pressure and we would buy a car from this salesman /dealership again. Throughout the whole process Frank took his time went over details of the car even though we owned an Outback already. He gave us our asking price for our 02 Outback trade-in with out a hassle. The day after we bought the car there was a loud rattle from the back and we brought it in the service tech took a ride with me and fixed the car ASAP.However, we rated the customer service,overall experience, quality of work and price good to OK because of the following: Weve always had remote starters in our cars and wanted one it this car as well. So, Frank recommended their product because the car was prewired for the Subaru starter. The price was a little higher than those at other stores but having owned a Subaru and other "genuine Subaru" accessories we assumed the quality would be first rate. So, we bought the remote starter that was hyped up to be Subaru quality. Well, this is our fourth starter and it is by far the worst one we ever owned. The others, all different brands, worked perfectly, including the 9 yr old one in the 02 Outback. This genuine Subaru quality starter, starts the car only when you are very close to the car and with no barriers, its suppose to start at 800 ft the same as the one in the 02. We asked to have it removed and they are reluctant to do so and after bringing it in to be checked by a service tech they told us it works fine. That is little comfort when you get out of work, its 8 degrees and the car isnt running. We highly recommend not buying this remote starter and if this truly represented Subaru quality we would be driving a Nissan Rouge or a Honda Element.We now have an ongoing daily log that will document that this is the worst starter we ever owned. Thus far we have 19 attempts and 6 starts all within 20 ft from the car! Hopefully this will get them to listen to us and remove the remote starter so we can get on that actually works.

I would highly recommend North End Subaru. My husband and I went there with a pretty desperate situation, my old car was dead, our credit not so good and between John and Bob and the Finance manager they were able find a us a great used vehichle, and creativly finance it for us. Everyone I dealt with at North End was friendly and very sympathetic to our situation, and didn't make us feel like we were less important because we weren't purchasing a new car. When our financial situation has turned around and we are ready for a new vehichle, I will not hesitate to give North End my business again! Thank you North End!

I am a owner of a Mazda Miata which I bought at North End Mazda. I had very good feelings about this dealership. The service department was very kind and helpful. My husband just leased a 2011 Mazda 3. He seems to like it a lot and the deal we received was outstanding. We were brought back to the service department and was introduced to the manager. Very friendly and talkative. My husband asked some questions and the manager answered them completely. My opinion is they are awsome to deal with.

I have been a Service customer since 2003. I have been extremely happy with the service that I received feeling that Rick and the other guys gave me all the information needed to maintain my car. My Forester was starting to show its age so I decided it was time to replace my Forester. I researched a number cars and decided to purchase the Outback. Frank L gave me his time, we test drove 2011 Forester and Outback. He gave me that facts that I needed to compare the two cars. I feel that this information was key to me buying my second subaru. It also allowed me to make an informed buying decision. When I decided to come back and buy, Frank C made sure that the Outback that I wanted was there at the dealer. Marty gave me a great price for a new Outback and fair trade in price on my Forester. I could not be happier with the experience. I LOVE my new Outback. I worked with Bob Waite, a true professional. His explicit sales method was to proceed at my pace. This contrasts very favorably with more traditional, but badly outmoded methods of trying to "trial-close" the prospect every 5 minutes, or worse not following up or staying in touch. Thus, Bob and North End in general seems to be a really good place to do business, based upon my experience. btw, there were 3 other Subaru dealers closer to my home.

I have been looking for a new car for a couple of months. Visited many dealerships. Sunday I decided to take a ride to Northend Subaru My salesman Bob Waite met me immediately with a hand shake. At that point I knew I was going to buy a car. He asked me a little about myself. We talked for awhile should me a Subaru Legacy. At that point I told him I had never even sat in a Subaru. Well he said lets take it for a ride. We did just that and I must have said "WOW" or "Oh My God" I don't remember how many times. What an awsome car. I also drove an Impreza liked it but fell in love with the Legacy. I asked Bob if I could take it to show my wife which was about 45 min away he said sure take your time. I thought that was great. When I came back from showing my wife. He met mwe at the door asked me how she liked it, what a silly question "she loved it". Bob and North End treated me so good through the whole process of buying a car all the way through the delivery on mon.When I picked my hew car up Bob introduced me to the service manager. I thought that was pretty cool. This was the best experience I have ever had purchaseing a car. Oh ya and by the way I've already told everybody this is the best place to buy a car. They were recommended to me by someone who lives about a mile away from them based on service work that was done. I have never used their service department, but had less than good luck with a salesman who was reluctant to give me an actual price on a car, therefore they lost a chance to gain a customer.

This is my 2nd Subaru in 11 years. The first one I bought from Ric and now he runs the Service Department. James O'Neal is also a friendly and knowledgeable service guy but I keep going back mostly because of Ric. He really makes you feel that you are a part of that Subaru family.Service is thorough and they keep you informed of upcoming problems and a time frame to deal with them. Unlike some places that will tell you they have to do these 5 things, North End will let you know what should be done but never pressure you into doing them. They will work with you to do the amount of work you want done. I like the coupons and specials they email me regularly, and remind me of service. I have had new cars from 6 different dealers but I think North End is head and shoulders above the rest (at least the ones I have dealt with).

This is the third new Subaru we have bought from this dealership and from Greg. Every time has been a great experience. There is no pressure and Greg is very knowledgeable. I had a very pleasant experience at North End Subaru. I had looked at several vehicles at different dealerships (Subaru and non-Subaru) found North End Subaru to be the most courteous. There was no pressure for me to purchase a vehicle. I called ahead to arrange for a test drive and the dealership had the vehicle I was interested, which I ultimately purchased, ready to go upon my arrival. They were also very flexible about the preparation and pick up of the vehicle. They were willing to take as much time as I needed to feel comfortable with my decision. All in all it was as relaxed a car buying experience as I have had.

This was my first visit and with the problem on my Subaru, they took me in immediatly and advised me of the situation in short order. It was a visit that took about 6 hours to fix and would run into the next day. As a result of that a loaner car was provided so that i could finish my errands. The loaner car was a 2010 model and allowed me to evaluate the new Subaru as we are considering purchasing a new one in the future. I was pleased with the response from the service advisor, John Kessler and will be returning in the future for service on our Subaru and perhaps purchase a new Outback.

I have been purchasing my cars and having them serviced at North End Subaru for about 25 years. There is a dealer closer to me, but I have always received good service at North End. I can always get my car in for service quickly. The Service Consultant { Rick } always takes the time to explain what my car needs and why. From the moment I called to set up an appointment until I picked it up, I experienced nothing but courteousness, professionalism and a feeling of competence from the staff. Their cost was a "second opinion" and was a fair amount lower than my "first opinion." The work was rather extensive and I asked if the rest of the car was ok. ( It's a 2000 Legacy wagon )I was told that if they had found anything that needed attention, they would have told me so I could make an "intelligent decision" ( My words ) about what to do with the vehicle. I tune pianos and live 45 minutes from the dealership. One of my piano customers had a Subaru in her yard at the time and I went through the usual conversation about how happy we were with our cars ( This is my 2nd Legacy Wagon ) She made a comment about how her husband preferred to go to North End for service because he trusted their work. I put that in my memory bank and did the same thing when this last situation arose.

Highly competent service department, friendly, knowledgeable, but very pricey. $129.00 to rotate tires and change oil, for instance, is a little too much. Almost $500 for a tune-up is definitely too much. Some service advisers will also try to upsell the uneducated. On the plus side, maintenance and repairs are done right the first time and vehicles are always delivered when promised.

My husband & I went to Subaru just for a test drive & to see what vehicle we would be interested in. We were in the lot for only 1 minute & Mike Pinto came out to greeted us. He was sincerely intested in what we were looking for, which was gas mileage and room in the back seat to hold our 3 grand children. We were looking to buy a Forester & because of Mike's knowledge of all the vehicles we decided on the Legacy which we are very proud & pleased to own. The Sales Manger, Finance Manger & Service Dept were very sincere & friendly. We feel very safe in the Legacy & would recommedn to everyone. Subaru should be very proud of this dealership and I am sure they are!

Hello.. I visited northend Subaru while out with my wife, we spent some time speaking with a young man by the name of Mike Pinto. I have never thought of buying a Subaru to be fair didnt know much about them but Mike was extremely knowledgeable. He helps us find the car WE wanted and fit OUR needs. We were never pushed or pressured..we even got to leave..the next day after doing a little more homework I found that the car was as good as presented and also the price was more than fair.. In the top two of best car buying experiences Ive had in the last 35 yrs. So good in fact we bought two Subarus from North End in less than one week. Pleasant, no pressure and knowledgeable team. They care about you even after the sale. Highly recommended.

This was my first time purchasing a car on my own, so I was pretty nervous. I expected it wouldn't be the best experience, but it was great. I didn't feel pressured at all by anyone there, and I felt like they were really there to help me, as opposed to just selling to me. Frank was my salesman and he was not only helpful, but friendly and not at all like you would picture the typical salesman. I was very impressed when it came time to make an offer. Frank the manager was right there working with us and Frank the salesman didn't have to go the "mystery man in the back" like most car dealerships. The price was pretty good, but the service was more than outstanding. Tom in the finance department was very informative and friendly as well. I would recommend North End Subaru over any other car dealership I have ever been to.

this place is awesome, never have I been taken care of in such a professional manner and had so much fun. They really don't sell cars there but help people buy them. Mike took the time to find out what my needs were and helped me to stay within my budget, the GM, Marty, even took the time to check in with me. I never felt pressured by them or Tom the finance manager. I can truly appreciate the laid back atmosphere of North End. I would recommend them to anyone, thanks Guys!

I strongly recommend this dealership. I had a very positive experience. They really educated me on the Forrester. I had been considering other options, and instead of negative selling the competition they acknowledged their strengths but showed me how the Forrester fit my needs better. That's one of the things I liked...I did not feel that they were trying to put me into a car, just to sell me the car. They asked how I would use the car and who would be in the car as well as what features were important to me...then they made their recommendation. After the test drive I was hooked. They shopped around to get me the best rate on my car loan as opposed to putting me in the first loan that I was approved for--that saved me money. And the service did not stop after the sale. They followed up to make sure I was happy with the car and my experience--and I am!Again, I strongly recommend this dealership. Jen Sullivan

I haven't bought a car quite yet, but when I'm ready, it'll definitely be with these guys...I hate feeling pressured when I walk onto a lot when considering buying a car. What I loved about North End Subaru-Mazda is I didn't get that feeling at ALL while shopping.Despite the economy and perhaps even desperation dealerships are probably feeling to make sales, I felt as though I "had space" while browsing and talking about my options. I bought a new Subaru Tribeca (which I love!) from North End Subaru earlier this year. I am not an easy person to please, but the salesman listened to what I wanted for accessories and found a Tribeca with exactly what I wanted. I did a trade and was given a very fair price for my used vehcile. There was no need to dicker on the price when it came time to look at how much I would pay. They were extremely fair with the pricing and gave me a great deal. My car buying experience at North End Subaru was by far, the best car buying experience I have ever had. Currently I get all my service done at this dealership. The guys in the Service deparment are top notch. I always know I am in good hands when I bring my car to this dealership for service. Bottom line - I am extremely satisfied with my Subaru Tribeca from North End Subaru and highly recommend this dealership and Subaru to anyone who is in the market to buy a new or used Subaru.

I was so nervous buying a car, especially at this time of year. After shopping around a bit, I decided to give Northend Subaru a try. My salesperson, Mike Pinto was very friendly, super knowledgeable and not pushy at all. I actually learned alot about cars. After Mike helped me find the perfect car that would work for my family and it was time to crunch numbers I was very worried and a little embarrassed. I am a single mom with three kids and my credit was not perfect. The business manager Tom, made me feel so comfortable and was very reassuring. The General Manager, Marty Babineau even got involved. He made suggestions and made me feel so at ease. I never once felt like i was being taken advantage or pressured in any way. I would personally like to thank, Mike, Tom and especially Marty for all they did for me. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone and I intend to come back when it is time to get my first oil change! Thank you to everyone at North End for making this an extra special holiday for me and my family!

The sales manager (Frank) & GM (Martin Babineau) at North End Subaru in Lunenburg, ma are the biggest dirt bags I have ever met. I will never set foot in North End Subaru again, even if they were giving away cars. I am shocked at how pathetic Martin Babineau is, and how he can expect to sell cars. Per GM Martin Babineau, North End Subaru does not need my money or my wifes money!! This was an interesting statement seeing that Larry Gordon the owner of Colonial Automotive Group (i.e. North End Subaru) strongly disagrees. Shocking as it may sound, during my conversation with Larry Gordon I was stunned to learn that Martin Babineau had a history of blatant stupidity (i.e. causing customers to run for the door). My question to Martin & Frank would be this, if you dont need my money whose money do you need? Based on the stampede of customers breaking down the doors at your Dealership on Saturday and Sunday, I would bet Larry is correct, you need my money!!

Has been under new management for the past year or so. Took my 99 Miata in for a check engine light. They looked at it and replaced the catalytic converter for me under warranty on the spot. Even bought be lunch since I was stuck there for 5 hours. Very helpful and friendly.
