Jeff is a good sales person. He got me what I wanted and worked with me all the way around on a trade in I still owed money on. It took a while to get here but it was expected as it was built in India. I got a 1.0 Ecosport. It's a midget escape that's really good on gas and in my opinion has a decent amount of get up and go when needed. I've bought an Escape from them in the past as well and it was a great experience. Would buy from again.

Against the advice of my husband, I brought my 2020 Escape here to have the touch screen in my car fixed and the recall for my vehicle also fixed. Guy I made the appointment with said they would order the part for the recall then, that way it would be there when I brought my car to them. Day of my appointment came and I had to tell them, again, I wanted the recall fixed. Long story short, took me dropping my car off 3 times for them to fix the screen and then they never did the recall. I can see why my husband was upset, this place barely fixed what I needed them to. I get parts take a second to get, but on the phone when I made the appointment, ya'll said it wouldn't take long at all. NEVER AGAIN. When I dropped my car off the second morning, and returned to it that afternoon, it hadn't moved. Why then did it take tracking down the mechanic for 10 minutes to get my keys? Only nice thing about this place is the kind guy who gave me a ride to work 2 days in a row. THANK YOU SIR.

We have bought a couple of vehicles from Northgate Ford. The sales people were friendly and the little that we have had service done to our vehicles has been done correctly and efficiently. My only complaint has nothing to do with Northgate Ford but with Ford Motor Company. I own. $50,000 F150 and the 10 speed transmission flares up between 3rd and 4th gear. Ford Motor Company says there’s no fix for this problem. This issue, if it is not fixed, will someday be a very expensive transmission overhaul. I’m sure if Ford Motor Company came out with a fix that Northgate Ford would contact me to perform the repairs.

I just came into the dealer to buy oil for a friend's truck. Before you know, I was looking at the 2106 F150 and a few hours later had one. I was able to get out of my Fusion without pain and back into a pickup truck. Very friendly staff.

I really appreciate the very thorough job they did looking over my new vehicle during "The Works" & informing me of needed repairs & maintanence. It took longer to then expected but they discounted my "Works" for the wait. The only reason I give a 7 in the recommendation area is because of the two times I brought my Mariner in for rust, which began before 3 years and was still under warranty, ...they just covered up the problem and didn't actually repair the problem.

I took my Fusion in for a recall fix and it was finished in less time than anticipated. While waiting I watched TV, read some articles, did a puzzle and had a snack plus some juice and coffee, compliments of the dealership! When vehicle was finished I asked if they had some way to wash inside of front and back windows (I was willing to pay for the service if available) Being 75 now, my hands and arms don't bend in such a fashion as to clean inside car windows. Before I could even turn around the service manager took my keys and summoned someone to take the car and do the windows. I was totally amazed and to me that was a the best Christmas in July gift I could ask for! I am eternally grateful to Northgate for that surprise!

I took my 2008 f150 in for a new catelletic converter that was under warranty because it was plugged again. It was taken care of in a weeks time and reported that the truck was not firing on three cyllendars. Warranty work was completed .chose to take the truck back to the a private mechanic

Found the car we were looking for via the internet - and asked for a quote. We were contacted by Chris Clubb and made an appointment to see the car and the dealership. Chris was very helpful and we did end up purchasing a Lincoln MKZ. When Chris delivered the car, he had even go so far as to wax and polish it for us. Delivery went very smoothly. We have not had to take the car in for service yet, so I cannot comment on the quality of the service department. I am a snowbird spending summers in Michigan. In the summer of 2014 I brought my 2013 Mustang 5.0 into the service department to diagnose the lack of AM reception on the radio. I explained at length the lack of reception to the Service Manager. I was called later that day and informed that the technician who examined my problem concluded that the vehicle had a bad speaker. A new speaker was installed. When I came to pick up my car the poor reception on AM persisted. I questioned the diagnosis of a bad speaker as I had good reception on FM and XM. The service manager suggested that I talk to the technician who was standing there. When I questioned him about the speaker diagnosis, he asked me what was wrong with the radio. Apparently the problem had not been properly conveyed to him. I told him poor reception, and he listened to the radio and advised that I needed a new radio. I was advised later that a new radio was installed yet upon picking up my vehicle I still found poor AM reception and all of my saved channels were the same.(Is this possible if a new radio is installed?) I then questioned the service manager about the continued lack of performance. He advised he would call Ford Motor Company technical support. He called me back and advised that The Ford rep suggested he play the radio next to a new vehicle to see if there was any difference. He then informed me that the new car AM reception was equally as bad as mine and that Ford apparently had bad radios in their Mustangs. I called Ford Customer Service who suggested I find another service facility. This June upon arriving in Michigan, I removed my car from storage and took it to Fred Grande Ford in Richmond MI, 35 miles from my house. They immediately diagnosed the problem using symptom chart PPT A and replaced the "Antenna Stanchon Module". AM reception is now perfect.Shame on Northgate Ford. Poor service communication, Lack of Expertise and questionable ethics relating to what they tell the customer.

I was the second person there and only spent about forty five minutes total there! Had some questions about my next Service, and even though they were busy they stopped and answered my questions! Everybody that worked there said hi, and asked how I was doing! Made me feel like they were really concerned! Now, that is how a business should be! I thank them and all their employees for the best service yet! I look forward to my next visit! If you want to feel like your part of the family, this is the dealer to go to! I have a 2014 Ford Fusion. I needed an oil change, tire rotation, inspection of a hole in the floor mat, and look at the dash display. I called the day before and spoke with Ann, who indicated I needed no appointment, it was on a first come first service basis, and they would have their technicians look at the challenges.Fast forward to today, when I arrived at the dealership I was told by Ron Goodwin that I would indeed need an appointment and that I could get my car back tomorrow. I indicated to him that Ann said I needed no appointment, when he asked Ann, she hedged for a moment, said have a technician look at it.Both Ann and Ron were disinterested, and seem bothered.When I got the car back, the oil change and tires were rotated, I was told there was nothing wrong with the display, even though it provides incorrect information, and Ron took a picture of the worn spot on the floor map, and will contact Ford.Unless you buy your car at this dealership, service for those cars not purchased their was not a pleasant experience. "Caveat Emptor"

Took my truck in for work as scheduled on a Monday and left the vehicle, I notified them that I had a rental until Wednesday. Told the service rep that I needed 6 items checked on the truck, they took the information told me what it would cost for the inspections to find what was the problem with the truck. Received a call Tuesday night that they have not had time to look at the truck, they had two other trucks in before me and they were having problems fixing them and they were on the phone with Ford. Fine but would you not think I should have been told that when dropping off my truck that there were vehicles before me and they were having problems with them. I scheduled this appointment a week and a half earlier. Received a call Wednesday night that still nothing was looked at on my truck and that they may not get to it this week. Called them Thursday morning that I was coming to pick up my truck before lunch, got the normal apologizes from them but really did not care, I am out over $300 for the rental with nothing getting looked at on my truck. This is not the first bad experience with the dealership on service. A year earlier they replaced a radiator that had a leak that was under warranty for me, that was great the problem occurred when I took it home and tried to start the truck the next day. It did not start, I jumped the truck and took it back to them for review. Received a call form them that the batteries were dead and needed to be replaced. Fought with them about the batteries and truck not having an issue before I took it to them and now they do not work. They claimed it was just something that happened, so I replaced the batteries at my expense. Apologies were given and I walked out the door. Final result is that I will never go back to them and I will sell the Ford truck and go to another brand that will be better responsive to their customers.

I'm writing this review for my father who took his car in to get Warranty work done on it. It needed some suspension work done it as well as a possible fix for the rear gears. My father had an aftermarket Warranty that Northgate said would cover all the charges. After the vehicle was looked over, Northgate contacted us to state that the Warranty would not cover the work, and it would be 2000$+ to fix. when my father stated he did not want the work done then, Northgate said they had 1300$ in evaluation fees that he needed to pay or they would not release his vehicle. My father needed the vehicle to get to work so he was forced to pay the 2000$ in order to get it back. Within 2 days the front end started to shake uncontrollably at high-way speeds, he took it back to Northgate who said there was nothing wrong with it. he then took it to Belle Tire, who stated that whoever installed the Control arm in the front (Northgate did 2 days prior) did not tighten it down and it was about to break off. We talked to Northgate about this, and they declined to accept this and told my father to bring the car back on a better day. Multiple phone calls back to them to get them to fix this issue and they still have not done so. Long story short, they performed 2000$+ in work and refused to stand by their service when asked to fix a part that they installed within a week of it being installed. If they end up responding to this review, I will update it.

Anne Terhune (spelling) is an excellent representative for this dealership. I deal with her only based on her professionalism. I feel my cars are taken care of with respect. However, recently my wife called asking to see if they could check her 2004 ford explorers transmission fluid. They informed her that they couldn't use the special tool to check her fluid levels but had to charge 165$ to drop the pan the 'check it out'. I called my mechanic i've been using for 20years and he said he'd glady check the transmission fluid with the special tool that they purchased from the dealership. 20$ hoist fee and trust. so why couldn't Northgate offer that to my wife? Other than oil changes why would i bring my vehicle for any other work?

The previous time I was in for service I had my MKX washed and apparently the antenna had to be removed and we noticed my AM radio was static on local stations. I observed the antenna missing so I purchased one. About a week later we noticed an antenna laying on the floor. I brought this to the attention of the service dept. and they said they would make an adjustment on the next item I would be buying. That seems fair. Thanks

The service staff were very kind and professional. The waiting area was clean and the hot and cold refreshments were very comforting. While I very much like my new Navigator, I feel that Lincoln is missing the boat on what once was a premium vehicle. The Navigator should be at the top of the line in terms of the auto world, and it is not. It use to be that Lincoln would be the first to have all new products and design, but not any more. If they are not outdone by their competitors they are outdone by Ford themselves, it's so sad! I will always buy American but.....I pray Lincoln can turn itself around.

While Ron was very helpful, the overall service experience was not good. I asked for a manager to call me 4 times - Ron spoke the manager for me and had my service discounted, but I requested that the manager still call me as I wanted to speak with him. I still have not heard from this manager (Steve Brush), despite his being asked to call me 3-4 times. I feel like my car was not properly assessed in July when it was brought in with the same issue and that the service technicians took my word for what was wrong with my car (I left it with you for a full week - all that was done was a muffler pan was tightened. I said I thought it sounded like something was loose - I am an RN, not a car mechanic - the car should have been assessed for any cause of said noise, not just looked at for loose parts. Per Ron, the documentation from that time states all that was done was the tightening and that nothing else was assessed. Now several months later AFTER my warranty is expired, there are expensive repairs needed to replace engine mounts and bearings for this noise that never fully went away. One quality of the noise did get better after the part was tightened in July, but it did not fully go away and kept getting louder/vibrating more (especially at high speeds) until we brought the car in again in October.) I feel like the repairs should have been covered mostly as it SHOULD have been caught and repaired while my car was under warranty. I feel like a subpar job was done in July and that I am paying for it now. I do not feel I can trust your mechanics to do a thorough job with my car.Also, it is worth noting that when your staff answer the phone, they could be friendlier. Almost every time I call, the person answering sounds like I am ruining their day - and I am a friendly person about 95% of the time. I will say - Ron warmed up to me and was very accommodating of my questions and answered professionally. I appreciated him.

My truck (Ranger) needed an oil change but I decided to have it checked out completely. Ron who works in the service area handled everything. He called me and keep me informed with new information on things that needed to be serviced, as I wanted everything to be ready for the winter months ahead.Ron also provided me with a ride too and from the Ford dealership which I needed. The person who serviced my truck also added "foot notes" stating what he worked on and did, great to have that information.

Joe did an outstanding job in getting me squared away in my first Lincoln. I had a different vehicle in mind, but due to the other dealers who failed to act in a timely fashion, I was forced to change gears and ended up in a brand new MKZ! When I went for my test drive, I was adjusting my seat position and inadvertently started the massage option. I will never again be without that option. The car is gorgeous. The lease was reasonable, the whole experience was delightful. I will look forward to learning all the other things that car can do. I wish I was as smart as the car.

My Lincoln MKX had an annoying noise and my worst case thought was a some mechanical issue. As is turned out it was a tire that would not balance. I do have an issue with the Pirelli tires placed upon the car from the factory. These should be 50k mile tires but they were nearly wore out at 20k miles. I expect better equipment from Lincoln. Good job by the Northgate dealership.

We were greeted as we arrived, paperwork was taken care of very timely and the car was taken for its we recall service and we were advised that it would be about an hour. one of the salesman also stop by to see how we were doing and offered to let us test drive a vehicle for as long as we wanted, so we did and we covered some errands. Shortly thereafter we received a call that our car was ready for pickup. The staff is very friendly and Ron and Ann are very accomodating, professional, and helpful.I brought the car in for an oil change and tire rotation...I have a maintenance contract with Northgate for 1 year. I had to leave the car again overnight for a second day because the ESC light came on when I started it up...it was not reset by the tech who worked on it when the tires were rotated. I had to travel home to Croswell and back twice to have the vehicle picked up and used a lot of gas for those trips.

Both Romeo and Imlay City Ford washed the car after any service that I had done not so at Northgate.I had a oil change for a new car and I needed to pay a service charge to rotate my tires,which I didn't do? If that is what this dealership needs to do to someone with a new car or any service why would I keep coming back? My experience was great. The facility was clean and people were friendly. I had dealt with Shepard Lincoln Mercury in Richmond, Michigan for over 40 years so my expectations were quite high and I informed my salesperson, Chris Clapp of this.A few days ago, I did receive a letter thanking me for my business. My only comment is that in the letter there was a place that the make, model, and year of car was to be filled in which it wasn't. You might want to proofread before sending out information to your customers!!! Just an idea!

I must let you know that Ann was the biggest help and she goes well above and beyond to make sure one feels as if they are the only customer at that time, even though I know she is extremely busy. Todays world is so fast and with electronic and automated services that there seems customer service is lacking in this world. Ann is an exception!!! She is one of the reasons I will continue using Northgate Ford very good experience. The mechanics are wonderful and thoughtful they do a great job!!! You have a great group of people working there. I am very pleased!!!!

My experiences with Chris Clubb at Northgate have always been, actuall,y delightful. He takes the time to match me with a good "deal" and car I fit in and will be happy with. Thus far he has been spot on. My new Fusion has it all and is a dream to drive, making long trips easier to cope with and enjoy even more than usual. While waiting at Norhtgate all the salespersons are friendly and personable. It is a nice place to buy a car, and just to visit from time to time!

Having been a loyal Ford owner for over 20 years - Taurus, Crown Victoria (Twice), F-150 and Edge, I decided to give Lincoln a try. I was introduced to Tom Wood at Northgate Ford Lincoln and I have to say, What a Great Experience! Tom took the time to explain the features of owning a Lincoln as well as the many services his Dealership offers including coming to get my car if there are any problems. Amazing!He also helped me understand that leasing could actually be a good choice for me even though a drive quite a number of miles per year. The financing and paperwork was a breeze working with Dean in the Financing area and then Tom's son Joe stepped ufo help with the set up of the Sync system. That was a real plus. This was a truly great car buying experience and I expect that my son, daughter and wife will be talking to Tom when they are ready for new Fords also! They each have a Ford right now. Fusion, Flex and Escape. We remain a loyal Ford family!!

The lease was up on our 2012 MKZ so we had to decide on buying it out or new. Northgate and Lincoln offered us a date night experience to test out the new MKZ Thank You! We ended up ordering a new MKZ because the seat package we wanted couldn't be found for a dealer trade. Upon delivery we were told when it would be ready for pick up. Arrived and everything was in place for us to turn in the old lease vehicle, get our phones connected to Sync and learn about some of the other features on our new car, sign all the paperwork, and be on our way. Great experience dealing with Chris and Mark, as well as Joe - and of course Tom and Grace Wood!Always get great service from the service department as well on my Mustang.

This was the fourth vehicle I've leased through Northgate Ford and each time my experience has gotten better! Northgate Ford always puts the customer front and center and make sure they've exhausted all my questions before I leave with my new car. They've even renovated the dealership in order to make it even more customer focused. If you're looking for a new car, don't make a final decision until you've at least given Northgate Ford a chance.

No other dealership is more willing to work with you, get you everything you want and need, work to get you approved for financing and are genuinely just a great group of people. Mark Schian was constantly keeping me informed and got me more money for my trade it. Joe Wood called Ford Credit himself to ensure I would get approved for financing. They are great guys and treat you just like family. I will never go anywhere else for a lease or buy. Mr. Tom Wood met with my wife and I going over the particulars of a Fusion Titanium. Then he provided us with an opportunity to drive a Fusion for ourselves. We decided on a Fusion Titanium and Mr Wood had the car washed and in the garage where we could see it and learn about it. This was in the evening due to my schedule and it was severely cold outside. We really appreciated being in a warm garage to see our car. We were provided an x plan by a friend and Mr. Wood expedited the paper work and the leasing along with his son, Joe Wood. Then we were shown how to use the various technology of the car, they synced our phone, Mike Wood along with Joe Wood and Mr Wood showed us how to use the mirrors, the Bliss system, the push button start, etc., the radio, the phone, etc. They took their time, were very gracious, and we were most pleased. We drove away from the dealership knowing that we would come back for service. We have know the Wood's previously because we leased and then purchased our Mountaineer from Mr Wood.

i would not trust this dealership to work on my car my car! I got a car from this dearlership and the air filter looked like it was never changed in the life of the car.it had 80 000+ miles on it the oil needed to be changed and the dealer said it was just done it was black it took me 2 oil changes yo get it real clean.i had bought another vehicle from this dealer and it had the same thing wrong with + a bad wheel bearing lucky for me it was covered by the warranty! needless to say i didn't take it back to this dealer to get it fixed..Here is a tip, if you buy a car from this dealership check it over real good because their service on used cars is not good in my book .I will never trust this dealership with my car . I use my car for work and it has to be kept in good condition.

I needed a new car again, and all I had to do was call my expert Tom Wood. I told him what I needed, and he had it for me within 24 hours. Also after discussing my personal needs, Tom and I decided a lease might work best for my family at this time. He discussed various timeframes and options to help me decide what would work best for us. I always feel that Tom is looking out for my best interests. He also suggested a service plan to go with the lease, which I initially rejected. After speaking with Dick Dickinson in finalizing paperwork, I decided to go ahead with the service plan. Grace Wood was there,too, to make me comfortable while waiting for paperwork to be completed, etc. When I picked up my car, all programming was completed, as Tom knows I am not a computer expert! Tom showed me how easy everything was to operate and I was on my way. I can't imagine going to another dealer to buy a car. I have trusted Tom Wood and his staff for years in all our vehicle purchases. Tom always says to me, "Whatever you need, we can make it work." I value Northgate Ford as a premier dealer.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Jay assisted me in finding a vehicle I could easily get in and out of by letting me try sitting in different vehicles until I found a few I wanted to test drive. After I had chosen the vehicle I wanted he helped me with the application and arranged for me to come in at my convenience to sign papers and pick it up. The car was filled up and clean when I picked it up. They talked me through all of the features and how they worked. They synced my phone to the vehicle and said I could stop in anytime if I have questions. I would highly recommend purchasing a vehicle from Northgate Ford.

My experiences at Northgate Ford Lincoln has been most exceptionally informative and has given me new confidence in American Dealers. It was the professional handling of my email questions which prompted me to go to a dealer out of state. This dealer as not only quick to answer emails and questions at the dealership but the entire experience made me feel that I was considered just as important to them as would be someone from their home town. Right from the start, my very detailed request for a 2010 or 2011 MKX and all the goodies would have boggled anyones mind...and of course I wanted the car at the lowest price ever. I was contacted immediately not from just a salesman but also from the dealer, Mr. Wood himself! In less than 24 hours they were not only able to find a vehicle fitting my request at a reasonable price but was able to make a deal putting me in the seat of a 2013 MKX.! This was something I could not pass up...so I actually flew to detroit. The dealership arranged for me to be picked up at the airport and within 2 hours after landing in Michigan, I was standing along side the MOST AMAZING ELEGANT SUV that I have ever seen, with coffee in hand and being offered the tour of the facility by the dealer himself. The Finance Office, Joe Wood took the time to carefully detail what was expected of me as well as tell me about future warranty etc. It was the first time I actually KNEW exactly what all the "small print" actually said before he asked me to sign on the dotted line. The Dealer had the car finished with a special finish to make sure the bugs would easily wash off the front of the car...it was a great idea because I had a 800 mile drive home. He also had his crew line the carpets with plasic in order to keep the car looking VERY NEW when I arrived home. Amazing to have someone thinking about the emotional aspect of have a new vehicle. To top the experience all off...The service department had a SYNC expert. Of course another of the family, Mike Wood....who not only stayed with me until 9 pm that night...to make sure I knew exactly how to operate the SYNC system in the car...but worked with me to use the navigation and plan the long journey back home. The navigation system not only showed me the roads but marked gas stations, restaurants, etc along the way. He did all this....after he bought me my own coffee to sit in the car and study out the operation with him. While driving back home, the SYNC system was amazing in that is did all that Mike Wood said it would, but....I found myself never getting tired driving the 14 hours. It was almost as though I had a friend in the car with me. Needless to say...the adreneline was flowing driving such an amazing vehicle home. No matter where I stopped for gas and food...every time....someone would stop me and say...what is that car!? It is beautiful. So of course....I had to sit them in the car, show them how the car talks to me...as though I had owned the car for months. ....All thanks to Mike Wood. The most imporant thing I can say to anyone looking for a new SUV.....do your homework and go drive all the other types of cars....and leave the 2013 MKX for the last...because you will never find a vehicle so plush, quite, responsive, and with the feel and look of quality as you will this vehicle. And furthermore.....take the time to talk to Tom or Joe Wood at Northgate Ford....THEY MATCH THE QUALITY OF THE MKX with their Professional and Care for their clients.
