I am like the current T.V. commercial --- I came back to a Chevrolet! Chevrolet was always my parents choice for a vehicle. Everyone at the Novato Chevrolet dealership was friendly...helpful...and answered any questions that I had about any of the cars on the lot. I test drove a couple of different vehicles...and John Eggers gave me assistance to be able to choose a vehicle that was the best fit for my needs...and the best value for the money that I had available to spend on a car...as I wanted a new car. I was also told that I could call the dealership back with any questions or concerns that I might have. Overall...it was a great buying experience at Novato Chevrolet...with great service. I would return to Novato Chevrolet to make another purchase...and I would recommend the dealership to others looking for personal help in making a vehicle purchase. Thank you all! I am enjoying my new Chevrolet Blazer!

We were greeted while we were looking at cars on the lot. The seller (Gary) stayed with us the whole time. He was not in any hurry to check in with other customers or pick up another buyer. He was concerned with our comfortability (my husband & I) while we were there. Very kind people! This process took 2 days due to our family needs and they were so kind to work with us and our needs.

Pluses: The service representatives are courteous and knowledgeable. They took the time to help me understand exactly what my car needed and why BEFORE the service. (See comments below.) Because I was getting a 45K interval service, there were many elements to go over. The car was ready for pick up earlier than promised and the work appears to have been performed well. And no surprise charges. Bottom line - These folks have shown themselves to be reliable. Minuses: No post-service follow-up. The paperwork provided after the service is uninformative, providing the customer with no useful information about the overall condition of the car. To me this is indicative that the technician spend a little or no time in diagnostic mode, just performing one service after the other until the checklist was done. Also - no sense of customer loyalty coming from their side. Although I purchase my vehicle here and have had all the service work done here, there’s no sense of continuity or relationship. Also - When I thought I had lost the paperwork for the warranty that I purchased when I bought the vehicle, nobody in the service or finance department had “any record” of my having a warranty. Later, when I found the paperwork, miraculously they found the paperwork too. Ooops.

I purchased a Chevy Spark. Denny Samuel was so over the top helpful. He knew that I live 3 hours from the dealership and he made sure I was fully taken care of when I arrived. He is very detail oriented and I felt I had his full attention. He made sure I had all the information needed and even helped me get the paperwork done to ensure I received the electric care rebates I qualified for. I highly recommend Denny and his staff. Greg made my experience even better than I was expecting. I needed some periodic services plus two software updates. Car was ready a half-day earlier than promised and was in pristine condition. Unlike other dealers, they left the interior spotless with no leftover disposable paper mats or other leftovers.

I LOVE my new Volt. The buying process was easy and the salesman, Brian Wells, was not pushy at all. He was knowledgable and answered my questions. He had a good sense of humor and was easy to work with. He took a lot of care and time to show me all of the operations of the car (It does a lot of stuff). I got a great deal on it and the General Manager (Mark) was a great guy who I enjoyed working with. I can't believe I found an honest car dealership in this day and age. I usually DREAD buying a car because of the scummy people that I will have to deal with. This was a totally different experience. I was treated well and did not get lied to. This is my first American-made car. The Volt is awesome. I highly recommend doing business with these guys. Great folks that understand real customer service. I will go back.

I purchased a Chevy Volt from Novato Chevrolet and I couldn't be happier. I love the car and in addition the sales process was pleasant with the easy-going, accomodating and friendly sales person, Brian Wells. I usually hate car-buying because I feel pushed, rushed, pressured, lied to, and disrespected. In this case, I got the opposite!! Brian answered my questions and let me come back several times over several days without pressure until I was ready to buy. Mark, the General Manager cut me an awesome deal and was extremely great to deal with. He worked hard to see that I got exactly what I wanted and went out of his way to get all of my concerns addressed and taken care of.These guys are an old fashioned neighborhood dealership with real customer service. Working with them was actually fun and easy, and to say that about buying a car is almost unbelievable to me. Brian spent a lot of time going over the car with me after I bought it to make sure that I understood all of the functions (it is very high tech).I would go back to them to buy another car without flinching. I would even send my mother there, which is saying a whole lot. Thanks, guys!!

What can I say about these guys other than they are true professionals. I started my search on their website and requested a quote for a 2014 Volt. I received an email quote within 10 minutes from Paul for the car I was interested in, plus he sent me information on some other Volts with different options. Yes all with quoted prices!!! No begging for the information. I did send in quotes to other dealerships but either they didnt get back to me or didnt want to give me a quote. The one quote I did receive was a joke compared to what Novato Chevrolet sent me. I arrived on a Saturday unannounced and was greeted by a gentleman by the name of Jim who told us Paul was off that day but that he could assist us. After taking my wife and I on a test drive we sat down and ordered the exact car we wanted. We were introduced to the Sales Manager who told me we would have the car by Wednesday and would keep us updated. Mark called me everyday giving with an update and to see if he could answer any questions. Talk about going above and beyond!!! We picked up our car Wednesday evening and were introduced to the Finance Manager John. Never at any time did we feel pressured during the buying or finance process. Not only did we get a great deal but also had the opportunity to work with some great professional folks and we all know that is very hard to find these days!!! Dont hesitate to purchase a car from these guys I know we will be back!!!

I am inexperienced at buying cars, and I really needed to replace my old vehicle so I felt like I was rushed through the process. The car I purchased was the one that I wanted, but there were several things that should have been considered before buying at the overpriced I paid. The car advertised power locks, yet they do not lock. Cigarette burns all over the interior and it stank strongly of smoke. The front speakers do not sound right so I am pretty sure I need to have them replaced. The A/C needs to be recharged, and the cabin air filter (what filters the air you breathe inside vehicle) was caked with dirt and leaves it probably wasn't changed in the entire 80K mile life of the car. Be very cautious about what you buy from here.

The salesforce spent a lot of time teaching me the computer interface of the Volt.At first, the electronics were overwhelming. I test drove multiple vehicles on different dates and they were very pleasant in regard to discussing the differences between the models and the features. I am a repeat customer at this dealer.

We brought our car in for servicing as it was under warranty! This was the closest dealer for servicing of our suburban which is a 2012! If we had read the yelp reviews we would never have brought our car here! The service advisor Scott(no last name)-refused to give me last name--was the worst I have ever encountered! Our car was there for over 2 weeks --under warranty repair--then to find out window panel was shattered--and then that too needed to be replaced! The service people were not in a rush to fix anything and made no accomodations! Scott was rude, ignorant, abrasive and made me feel like I had no rights! Afterall, he would not tell me his last name --interesting--wondering what info he was hiding about our car---and found out window was shattered which he was withholding from me! still dont know how or why window was shattered!! I would never return to this unfriendly-unprofessional, disorganized ,---service department! There was no apology; but rather excuses for service advisors behavior.I rate this place 0! BUYER BEWARE OF SERVICING YOUR VEHICLE HERE! I had a terrible experience and have owned many nice cars! This place is by far the worst! Also, read yelp reviews on this place---horrible!

The only reason that I purchased from this dealer was the fact that they were the only ones that had the used truck I was looking for. It was an internet sale and I found that my salesman would say anything to make his sale. I asked for pictures, which he did do. when I looked at the pictures and noticed some damage, he acted like he did not notice it while taking the photos. I could only see a small amount of the damage in the photos and went ahead with the purchase. After having my truck delivered, I could see the entire rear quarter was deformed. He didn't bother to mention this. I specifically asked about water stains in the headliner from sunroof leaks, he said it was pristine. It had stain. It took the dealership nearly 60 days before they turned the sale in to the California BMV, which cost me late fees here in Indiana. I paid premium money for a not so premium truck. Maybe the locals get good treatment, but this internet sale was a bust.

I recently purchased a used vehicle at Novato Chevy and have nothing but good things to say about them. Mark, the sales manager, was fair and responsive through the entire process. He addressed my concerns about the truck I was purchasing and went out of his way to ensure I was satisfied with the deal. Even after I took delivery of the truck and had complaints about maintenance issues I had overlooked with the vehicle Mark remained helpful and sorted the issues with little cost to me through the dealer of my choice. I would recommend Mark and his sales team at Novato Chevy to any one purchasing a new or used car.

Best car buying experience ever. This is the 8th new car that I have purchased and by far the easiest transaction ever. I went to the dealership after a bad experience with Victory in Petaluma. I knew exactly what I wanted (2011 Tahoe) and what features I wanted. Mark took the time to show me each one on the lot that met my need/wish list. Then we discussed price. I was never asked how much I want my monthly payment to be. He went over the price on each car. Showed me the invoice price, discussed the rebate information available. He then shopped for the best interest rate for me and I got to chose which back and rate. We signed with Jayda, who made everything very simple and easy. Paul gave us a hands on demo with all of the features that came with the Tahoe, even set up my bluetooth, preset XM stations, my Onstar and favorites with electronic features. I have bought many cars in the past and have never had a single dealer give me so much personal attention ever. I will definately be back there when its time for my husband to replace his car. I am also recommending this dealership to my friends, family and co-workers. I cannot say enough good things about them.

Just left an another dealer thinking shopping for cars was still the same old thing. BSThen I went to Novato Chevrolet and the manager greated me. He was pleasant and took time to help me. I Love my Chevrolet that I bought at Novato Chevrolet. When I got home I went on line to check prices and I was surprised that my price was even lower.

Just came in for an oil change and tire rotation and telephoned ahead for an appointment. This was to be my first oil change/tire rotation since purchasing my truck. San Rafael Chevrolet closed so Novato Chevrolet was the next dealer. My tires WERE NOT rotated and the service manager LEFT early & was suppose to call me at home regarding my tires and NEVER DID. The parts department was going to call me regarding a truck liner, mats and cover; NEVER DID. They also left grease on my steering wheel. Its a NEW TRUCK! If I can find another dealer within 100 miles...I WILL GO THERE! ps...when I telephoned for an appointment, the service mgr was snotty & rude; and I just wanted him to tell me when it was convenient to bring my truck in.
