I would like to commend Keith Donaldson for providing me such professional customer service. Although, he had to keep the vehicle for a long time, he was determined he was going to find out the source of the problem. And that he did. He explained everything to me, and what I need to do to keep the car maintained once the service was completed. He should definitely be recognized for his outstanding customer service. I'm updating my previous review because of my recent experience at the dealership. My Sales Professional (Sam) was amazing. I came back this week to have some additional equipment installed in my new vehicle. Sam went above and beyond by ensuring that I had a loaner vehicle while the service was done and the very next day he stayed late that evening when I got off from work to explain the new technology that was installed in my vehicle. I highly recommend anyone that visits Ourisman of Alexandria to ask for Sam (Sales Professional). His customer service and professional expertise is top notch. I give him a 5 out of 5 stars. If you are looking to purchase a new vehicle, I highly recommend Ourisman Chevrolet of Alexandria. The Sales Professional (Sam), Financial Manager (Chris), Sales Engineer (Daniel), and General Sales Manager were all extremely helpful, knowledgeable and professional. I completed my SUV sale within two hours to include test drive and financial paperwork. They made my car buying experience stress free and answered all my questions. I will definitely refer this dealership to my family and friends.

I have been saving up to buy a car for a while now, and have also talked to a couple different salesmen. But Chris was hand down the best I’ve worked with so far. He was very personable and friendly, but most importantly he was able to address any questions I had, in terms that I could understand. Although I am not 100% ready to buy a car, I will definitely be contacting Chris when I am and recommend others to do the same.

The scheduling department and the service department need to communicate. I pulled up for my 10:00am appointment just to be told that there would be a 3 hour wait for an oil change. It would have been easier for me to plan if I would have known this prior to getting to the dealership. When you are experiencing unusual wait times, you should have someone give a courtesy call to the customers who decided to wait for their vehicle when they made their appointment. Then we can decide if we want to keep our scheduled appointment or not. My vehicle was not ready until over 3 hours later.

The person handling my appointment didn’t call to talk to me or give me updates. He didn’t call to tell me my car was ready. When I called to inquire about a concern he seemingly discussed and addressed it with me, however when I came to get the car the work I thought would be done wasn’t and the work that was done had never been mentioned! I spoke to a manager before I left who saw what I was talking about, and assured me my service guy would call me. He did not. I called several times to reach a manager and no one returned my call! I’ve been a customer since 2013, this is the only shop I’ve used for my cars. I have always been pleased, and the gentleman who usually handles my service is great. My experience this time was unacceptable. I’m still trying to contact someone to discuss and resolve this matter. *UPDATE: A manager did contact me, apologize for my experience, and offer me a refund for the services I didn’t request. I’m satisfied and will return, but will be sure not to get the same person who handled my last appointment.
