I just wanted to give a shout out to Ourisman Honda of Laurel and Anthony Daveinport. My husband and I purchased our new 2017 Honda Accord back in September. Anthony made the purchase smooth and easy. He was very friendly and helpful. Now 2 months after the purchase I have reached out with a few questions regarding maybe adding a few things to our vehicle such as a remote start and I received a very quick response with all my questions answered. I was greatly impressed with the service I received from Anthony Davenport. He was extremely courteous and professional in his interactions with me. Mr. Davenport paid attention to the amount I told him I was willing to spend on a car and the features I wanted. Based on his responses to my questions, I was extremely confident about making a decision after having been shown only two cars (I had recently researched Honda Accord sales prices). On Saturday, I decided to look for a new car to buy and the last stop was Oursiman VW of Laurel. I was assisted by salesman Richie who was very polite and helped me pick out a car that would suit me and my children. I explained to him my budget and payments I could afford. When it was time for purchase and after some last minute negotiating, Marwan Redman offered me financing at the lowest interest rate possible!!! I was assisted by Mohamed Thabet who also assisted with finding me a great deal for financing! The service was great! The financing contract signing was simple and easy! I walked off the lot with a better car (2014 VW Passat) than what I anticipated! I previously had a 2010 Acura TL and I can honestly say this was the better purchase. My original option before buying a 2010 Acura TL. The Passat is much more accommodating!!! After my purchase they were able to drive my old vehicle back home so that I could enjoy my car!! The experience I had at Ourisman Laurel was the best car experience I ever had. I initially went in to see about saving my 2005 Honda CRV, but, with the assistance of Brandon Hickson-Hamilton and Debbie Lewis, I ended up with a new Honda FIT 2016!! Brandon Hickson-Hamilton met me with a bright smile and an extremely helpful attitude. He listened carefully about my concerns (about a new car payment), patiently showed me the two styles I thought I wanted yet surprised me with me Honda FIT 2016. His knowledge about the all the cars blew me away!! From collecting my information to the end of the sale, his famous words were "It will be fine!!" And it was!! For the past two days, I have been in hog's heaven with the car. Debbie Lewis, in finance, was a dream to work with. She patiently shared her vast knowledge about financing, which allowed me to buy the car. Both Brandon and Debbie exude such a positive, caring, and warm energy,(which is rare to find these days). I happened to walk into your Lauren showroom...upon entry, I was warmly greeted by Goldie, formally known as Bill Goldsmith. And what happened from there was one of the best customer service experiences of my life! Goldie helped me find the perfect car for my son...and then Mohammad worked out the numbers to find me a match that was suitable for my budget...finally, Joe put it all together and the deal was sealed! Goldie walked me around the showroom and into the service area so that I could meet everyone. Ron jumped from his chair to welcome me to the family. The staff was full of smiles and warm welcomes...not to mention that the facility was absolutely impeccable.The car was delivered to my home by Jordan and a thank you email came from Goldie minutes later. This morning, my first phone call was from Goldie just to check and see how happy we were!My sincerest appreciation goes to this team...along with a huge round of applause. They're amazing! After shopping around at several Honda dealers, and having a fairly negative experience at one in particular, it was a breath of fresh air to come to Ourisman Honda of Laurel. Laura was kind, attentive, professional, and very helpful and knowledgable from the first hello to the final handshake. Everyone stayed over 1.5 hours after closing to finalize our sale so that we could leave the lot with our new car that night. We chose to buy our new Civic there specifically because of the level of service we experienced.

On 10/27/2016, I purchased a 2017 Honda Accord from Ourisman Honda in Laurel, MD.I chose to conduct business with James R. Jones, who I've had the pleasure to meet last year for the first time. During this initial meeting, I made it clear that I was shopping for a car and that I was not in the market to buy at that time. Even after considering this, Mr. Jones allowed me the opportunity to test drive a Honda and at no time, was he insistent or pushy. Just when I threw in the towel to buy a new car this year, after a very terrible experience at a car dealership, I got a game changing call from Brandon Hickson-Hamilton of Ourisman Honda of Laurel. I had been avoiding Brandon due to distance even though his invoice was the lowest in my collection. Brandon was very, very pleasant and promised to do all he can within the little time left for the new 2016 Honda car deals to expire, to find "my car" even though they did not have it in stock. Brandon and Rob found the car I wanted about 70 miles away and called to get my consent to bring it in. To my surprise, I was given further discount when I bargained for it. It was going to cost me more at the other dealership to locate and bring in the car I was asking for. Brandon Hickson-Hamilton changed my perception of car dealerships. It should not be difficult after all. This was my first new car purchase so I was a little nervous. I heard all the horror stories of shady dealerships and sleazy salesmen who will do anything to trap you. I did my research to be prepared for my purchase and contacted a few dealerships in the area. Brandon Hickson-Hamilton assisted me with any questions I had via e-mail before I even set foot in the dealership. He answered every question I had very quickly and scheduled a time for me to come in and test drive. I came in, drove, and then started talking numbers with Brandon. He didnt pressure me at all throughout the discussion and didnt hassle me with any xxxxxxxx. I felt like a valued customer. Once we settled on a price Debbie Lewis came to assist me with the financing. She was very clear and concise with her explanations and kept me informed the whole time. She listened to my financial needs, applied to only three banks, and got me a great rate. In the end I left there with the car I wanted at an excellent price and felt good about the whole experience.I would recommend this dealership, Brandon, and Debbie to anyone looking for a honda. As I pulled into Ourisman Honda with my brother following right behind, I was immediately heckled by 2 gentleman. The heckling wasn't a bad thing as they turned out to be employees of Ourisman Honda and car guys. The poking was about the Cadillac CTS V that I pulled up in. To the average Joe or Jane it's just your regular grandad Cadillac, but for anyone who knows cars knows it's a 4 door Corvette with the same drivetrain found in the ZR1 Corvette. The 6.2 Liter supercharged LSA with 556hp. Now what was I doing at a Honda dealership one might ask? Trading the beast in for a car more practical and sensible for my daily commute and life status. I've read so many great reviews on the Honda Accords and the stylish refresh caught my attention. Plus being able to fill up with 87 and say goodbye to 93 while getting over 30 mpg's was a huge plus for me. Cars come and go and I've had my fair share of them, but this buy could well be the best car purchase I've made before I turn 30. It makes sense for my life situation and is by far the smartest vehicle choice I've made in this tough economy. Ramon (my salesman) was very knowledgeable on the specs of the car that I was looking for. I told him " I just want something that's good on gas" and he immediately started giving me options that would accommodate me and my two boys. Not once did I ever feel pressured. I was greeted by everyone and the dealership was in pristine condition. My finance guy Joe went to war for me as it was a Friday night and was hard to get anyone on the phone. I never worried as I knew a prayer would change everything. He finally got a guy on the phone whom Joe told me never answers his phone at night let alone a FRIDAY night. I got the lowest rate from the last call of the night. Thank God first for a prayer answered and for placing me in good hands with Joe. A surprisingly satisfying car buying experience. I will surely miss 556hp but I won't miss filling up every two days and the maintenance costs. Thank you gentleman for making car buying simple and professional.

It was the huge American Flag flying out front that brought us into Ourisman Honda of Laurel, but it was the salesman, Anthony Davenport who helped us make up our mind to purchase our brand new 2017 Honda Accord Sport SE. We had gone out to just begin looking at new vehicles when wandering through the lot one vehicle caught our eye. We went inside to talk to someone and get more information. Anthony was both friendly and informative. He answered all of our questions and filled us on details we didn't even think to ask about. One of the things we liked best about Anthony was he was NOT pushy at all. He told us all about the car we were interested in and then asked if we wanted to see any others. When we said, no we liked what we were looking at, he did not waste our time trying to show us other more expensive models. He listened to what we wanted, listened to our payment range and I believe he helped get a deal we were all happy with. After the purchase was complete, he made sure we had his contact information and told us to feel free to contact him if we had any additional questions. We did have a few questions and when we emailed him, we got a quick response, the sale was done, but he was still there for us. I would most definitely recommend both Ourisman Honda of Laurel and Anthony Davenport.

I just purchased a new HR-V from this dealership. Jay Rivera was my salesman. I hate buying cars as I always feel pressured and hounded by the salesman. Jay Rivera was exactly the opposite. When I told him what my price range was he came back immediately with what he could do. He took me out while I test drove two vehicles and didn't rush me. He checked in on me when I went to other dealers but was never pushy. He was low-key and low-stress and I appreciated that.I will recommend this dealership and Jay in particular to my friends and family that are looking to purchase a vehicle.

The employee who responded to my email inquiry was incredibly pushy about making phone calls. I prefer to use email because I cannot take calls during the day and I get incredibly nervous speaking on the phone. He spoke down to me in email and pressured me to come in to see the cars. I already knew what model I wanted, but I was curious about what deal could be presented to me. His overall tone was incredibly aggressive and patronizing. I decided I needed to find another dealership that is more mellow and not trying to push me to pull a trigger before I am ready and will be more helpful during a first-time car purchase. When I told him I was going to hold off on my purchase, he sent back an incredibly rude, patronizing, and aggressive email.

Kudos to Brandon Hickson-Hamilton for making my car buying experience awesome. I was greeted by Brandon and he got right to business in finding out what I was looking for. After test driving, I still was not sure between 2 cars. He offered to go back out and look again just for me to be sure. As it had been 15 years since purchasing a new car, I was a bit nervous. Once the decision was made and the paperwork done, he took the time to show me how to work all the functions of the car. Since technology in the cars today had really changed since my last purchase. I was searching the internet for a vacation vehicle, a van of some sort. After putting in my info I received quite a few emails form various dealerships, I choose ourisman Honda of Laurel. I made an appointment with Anthony D. and after speaking with him I was so comfortable with the phone conversation that we made an appointment for me to come in. It was a Saturday, I had so much to do that day but since I promised to go I went, Anthony D. met me at the door and got the keys and took me for a test drive, while we were test driving he was explaining all the features of the vehicle, when we got back I was so impressed with everything that I signed the papers and got my new Honda Odyssey 2016. I love my new van and I would definitely recommend Ourisman Honda of Laurel and Anthony D. I did not go to purchase a new vehicle but after talking to Anthony I was glad I did. I worked with Brandon Hickson-Hamilton to purchase a new Honda Civic 2016 EX. I came in to the dealership already having a car picked out - as I did most everything over email. It was a completely painless buying experience. When I came into the dealership, Brandon guided me through the paperwork incredibly quickly and we were well on our way. I had driven the car I was looking into previously (though a slightly different version). Brandon made sure that I was set up before I left the dealership with my phone connected to the car and that I had a good understanding of all of the new features and controls. This all took place after the sale had already taken place - I certainly appreciate all of the additional assistance and I would recommend dealing with Brandon Hickson-Hamilton, personally.The dealership was very nice, there was plenty of parking, it was bright, and it was clean. A friend suggested I should go to Ourisman Honda in Laurel Maryland and see Laura Jospeh (sales consultant). At first I was reluctant to honor friend's recommendation because it was over an hour drive from my residence.After being persuaded by a friend, we finally decided to drive long distance and met Mrs. Joseph. She was patient, knowledgeable and efficient in every phase of the sales process. Nothing but good to say about Laura Joseph.The trip and our time turned to be worthwhile. It was by far the best car buying experience we ever had.However, as far as the finance Manager Mr. Brian Blackmon is concerned, in my opinion,based on interaction with him, he thinks anyone who goes to see him is either idiot or illiterate. Here it begins and things got really slow. He did the financing and asked me to sign the paperwork. While examining the paperwork prior to signing I noticed the TOTAL OUT DOOR price jumped drastically.He used 3.5% APR while Honda's advertised/published rate is 0.9%. He also added processing , destination and sales tax which were already included initially to come up with total outdoor price with sales associate Mrs. Laura Jospeh. When my family and complained about the interest rate he tried to shop around to bring it down ignoring the rate we negotiated with the sales representative. It took more than two hours going back and forth to honor the negotiated rate. As a result the monthly payment sky rocketed to the unimaginable amount. Keep in mind we have an outstanding credit history and this qualifies us for 0.9 percent which Honda advertises.I explained to him that the price he computed is/was not what we agreed with Ms Laura. Finally I decided to ignore the deal and walk out. At this point the Manager stepped in reviewed the situation and finally it all worked out.After the manager walked out of his office the finance manager recommended if we are interested to add LOJACK and we strongly said we dont want it repeatedly. But he kept pushing and included the LOJACK without our consent which is a total of $619.00. We dont know what it is and why he included it, where this device located or activated? Who installed it? As far as we are concerned I dont think it is even exit on the vehicle. It was really unfortunate to encounter not a customer oriented finance associate at Ourisman Honda. I felt sorry he is representing such reputable dealership. I highly recommend the following for those who are looking to purchase a vehicle:1. Understand the total final purchase price before you enter the finance department or2. Take someone with you who knows basic financing. Trust me you will save money, time and will end up with a happy car purchasing experience.By no means what has happened will hinder us or will discourage us from revisiting the dealer or recommending to other colleagues. Ramon did a wonderful job helping me find the perfect car. I know it is the job of a car dealership to sell cars, but I felt like he really has my best interests at heart. I am a long-time service customer of the dealership and have always felt that I have received excellent service at every visit. When I made the decision to trade in my 08 Civic for a new one, I did shop around, but hands down, the excellent history I have with this dealership, paired with Ramon making sure I was 100% taken care of, even after the papers were signed, made my decision an easy one.

After going to another local dealer and being basically dismissed without buying a car, I was recommended to see Ramon. My experience working with him is nothing short of "phenomenal"! When I told Ramon that I had test drove the car at the other dealership he would not accept that but wanted to make sure that I was comfortable and knowledgeable about the car that I wanted to purchase. Throughout the whole experience I never felt rushed or being pushed into something that I didn't want. I am now driving a car that I StILL cannot believe that I have and I know that it is because of the great service that Ramon made sure that I received! I will recommend Ourisman and Ramon any day!

From start to finish, my experience here was phenomenal. Brandon was extremely patient with me while answering all of my questions, not to mention chin putting up with my unsureness of what I wanted to do. Brandon was extremely knowledgeable of the various cars on the lot along with their features. If you're looking for a new car I highly recommend that you stop by and speak with Brandon you will not be disappointed nor what you feel rushed. When he came to financing Debbie explain everything thoroughly and I cannot thank her enough. She even gave some tips on how to clean some things up on my credit. Who could ask for A better experience. While sitting in her office we shared many laughs which me the fear of purchasing a brand-new car seem like nothing. All in all I highly recommend this staff for your car buying needs.

Brandon"s customer service and sale of my new hybrid was amazing. He connected with my need to purchase the vehicle in record time without the usual pressure one receives from salespersons. I am very pleased and satisfied with the customer service from Brandon and the entire sales staff, especially also Debbie, in getting me into my new car. Even though the process with deciding and purchasing a new car could take at least 3 hours or more, James Jones made my husband and I not even think about the time that we spent in the dealership. He was very professional and provided excellent customer service and conversation the entire time. From start to finish! My husband and I were interested in a color that wasn't on the lot in this location. We asked James if it was possible for him to get the 2016 Honda Accord Sport in white? He responded by saying "Since I am a positive person, I wont say no". Than he said to us right before he excused himself, (scratching his head) "I have work to do". Long story short, he was able to find the car in the color that we asked for and we drove off in it the very same day. I will always remember that and appreciate his dedication. I would definitely recommend him and Joe Rasulzad from the finance department to all of my friends looking to purchase a new or used car.

My wife and I did a lot of research when making a decision on what car to buy. With the decision made to get a new Honda Odyssey to accommodate our growing family, the next step was figuring out the price others were paying. Using pricing from TrueCar and the Costco auto buying program, along with self-reported results from owners on internet forums (prices listed by real buyers were lower than either TrueCar or Costco, we were well informed potential buyers. Anthony Davenport from Ourisman Honda in Laurel, MD gave us a great price right off the bat that was in line with the lowest I could find on the internet. I had doubts about how the transaction would go, because in the past we purchased from a dealer that was far from home because of price and ended up not enjoying the experience. Those fears were unfounded because Anthony and Ourisman Honda did not try to play any games or force upsells on us. In fact, they worked to get us a further discount from Honda Finance that we didnt even know we existed.Without question, I would buy again from Anthony Davenport and Ourisman Honda. Anthony does have his own website (http://adautomotivegroup.com/), and if he ever moves on to another dealership in the future, I recommend working with him in particular because of the level of care he gave to us.

I use Oursiman VW for regular servicing and was approached about purchasing a new vehicle (this wasn't the first time- my response was always "I'm going to drive my Passat until the wheels fell off", but was a bit hesitant. However, I finally gave in on Friday and got a new car. They: Bill, Isaac, Mohammed, and Renee were very accommodating. They understood my financial needs and gave me a great deal on a 2016 Jetta that I am absolutely in love with. Everything was explained in simple language that I was able to understand. I didn't once feel like I was being sold a car. I am now happy I have reliable transportation. I have a safe car that is good on gas and fun to drive.

We purposely went to Honda to buy a van to convert into a handicapped vehicle for our son. We did our homework and asked Brandon for a top of the line van that would meet all our criteria. Upon meeting our son Brandon did not look the other way or choose to ignore him as other dealers had done. He even got our son a balloon and spoke to him like a real person. That coupled with a van that ticked off the marks sold the van to us. We will definetly be doing more business at this Honda dealership.

After living abroad teaching in China and Ukraine for five years I was a little apprehensive about car shopping. I know very little about cars and Brandon was able to break down how to use my new fit. They were very attentive as soon as I walked in the door and I felt no pressure to buy anything extra. The price was super fair and the staff was extremely friendly. We were in and out with a brand new Honda Fit in about an hour and a half. Was a great experience and I recommend this dealership for any first time car buyer who does not want to deal with pesky salesmen who want to up sell to increase their commission. I had a really great experience purchasing my brand new 2016 Honda Accord from Ourisman Honda Laurel a few weeks ago! My sales consultant, Ramon Hart was simply the best! He was very calm (yet confident and firm), patient and sincere. He really made me feel like he was working with me and was listening to my needs as opposed to pushing his agenda and simply trying sell me a car. I appreciated that very much. All the other people I came across during my "researching and decision making phase" (it took me a almost two weeks to seal the deal.... I like to do thorough research before making a decision) were extremely nice and warm as well. The finance lady I worked with, Debbie, also deserves a shout out. She is funny and just all round great, too! :-) This is my second time purchasing a car at this location and I think that in itself speaks volumes. In a nutshell, they are very professional, deliver excellent service and are very nice people to work with!

Visited the dealership a couple of times to test drive a couple of different cars until we settled on the car we bought. On both occasions, the sales persons listened to what features we were looking for in the car and took the time to explain the cars' features. there was no pressure from the sales people.

I had a good experience trading in my 2005 Accord EX (112800 miles for $3500) for a new Accord Sport. They did not match CarMax which offered $4000. They are reselling the car for upwards of $7000. My sales professional was Anthony Davenport. He was nice enough and did his job. I can't really say anything was too special about the whole experience but I'd tell a friend to go there. Pricing in the end seemed a little confusing vs. what TruCars said I'd get but I thin it was 'fair'. My first oil change is free - expected more but not a huge deal since I go to Firestone for most regular service. Car Washes are included though. I did get a confusing call from a manager 4 days AFTER I bought the car. He wanted to check to see if I had made a decision yet on a new car. Ironically I was driving the car and this was my first Bluetooth call! I said I had already bought a car. He said, "Oh, where from?" LOL!

This was my first NEW car buying experience. It was great taking it for a test drive right away to get a feel for the CR-V. Brandon was very knowledgeable, answering all of my questions and explaining each feature of the car and differences from the other models. This was a smooth buying purchase with a pleasant salesman! I am very happy with my purchase and the friendliness of the dealership.

The following is my account with purchasing a new car at Ourisman Honda.My wife and I came to Ourisman looking for a new car. My heart was set on a Ford Focus, but my wife convinced me to try a 2016 Honda Civic EX. Taking it for a quick test drive with the salesman, Anthony Davenport, was my first experience with a Honda. I enjoyed the feel of the Civic, but still wanted to try a Focus.Later that night, my wife and I test drove a Focus across town. I was not impressed. The Focus felt like I was sitting in a tight airplane seat. I'm an averaged height male (6'1), and I felt cramped the entire time. The Focus also rattled a bit, and just felt a little cheap for the price. Plus, their customer service was horrible. I admit that customer service isn't a deciding factor in such a high value purchase, but I do believe that it is a reflection of the product. This proved to be true at the Ford dealership.I called Anthony two days later, and told him that we would like to purchase a new Civic. He was more then accommodating. I even requested the car in a beautiful blue, and although he did not have it at his dealership, he went out of his way to get it for me from another dealership.I went back to the dealership that Saturday and the entire staff was pleasant to be around. They all seemed happy to be there. Anthony walked me through my purchase, but not before showing me all of the bells and whistles that the Civic came with. The entire process took about 3 hours, which is an average time in car buying in my experience. He was training another salesman, Laura Joseph, who was also extremely polite and a pleasure to be around.I have had my car for a month now. I could not be happier with my purchase. The Civic's comfort level is beyond what I expected. It drives so smooth and quiet. I cannot hear outside road noise, except when I'm cruising with the windows down and sunroof back. My wife loves the car as well, and we can't wait to take our first road trip in it. The gas mileage is probably what I like most about the car. I drive everyday, and have to fill up about every 2 to 2.5 weeks.I would recommend Ourisman Honda, and the 2016 Honda Civic to anyone looking for a tremendous car buying experience.Other bonus's1. He did not answer until the next day with the picture of my Volvo and ask when I could come look at it. Told him the next day I would be there. The rest is history. Let me start by saying how much I hate shopping for a car. I can shop for shoes, clothes and even groceries but shopping for a car is such a headache and frustrating. There are so many manufacturers out here, it's 2016 and now days all of the cars are really nice looking. I looked at Toyota and Nissans and then a good friend of mine told me to go and check out "Brandon Hickson-Hamilton" over at Ourisman Honda of Laurel. I've never owned a Honda until now and I've always heard nothing but great things about them. Before I was driving a 2013 Chevy Cruze and it was a nice little get around car but to tell you the truth it was a ugly little car. Needless to say, I payed Mr. Hickson-Hamilton a visit. This tall handsome and big smile guy greeted me and welcomed me to the dealership. I test drove an Accord and a Civic. I loved them both and I had no idea Honda offered so many amenities inside their vehicles. I fell in love with the back up camera and the Bluetooth. I hadn't did any research on Honda so when it came down to talking numbers he presented me with some numbers that I just couldn't pass up. I am happy to say that I am now the proud owner of a 2015 Honda Civic EX and I love it. This is my first Honda and for xxxx sure will not be my last. I brought a Honda Pilot from this dealership. When I arrived, I was unsure what vehicle I wanted to purchase. The sales associate Brandon Hickson-Hamilton was reassuring that I could test every vehicle Honda or Volkswagen. He asked questions to aid in figuring out the vehicle that would best fit my needs. He was relaxed and understanding to my family needs. He helped us compare vehicles and various features that we would be interested in. One thing I appreciated was, he didn't push the most expensive vehicle and focused on my needs. It's rare to find a salesman who is not focused on making the sale but on you as the consumer. This made buying a vehicle less stressful.

This was a pretty great experience, it's been a long time since I bought a brand new car. It took a little longer than I thought it would, but it was all worth it in the end. I have a beautiful new car & JJ & Joe were great, they went the long yards to make sure I was happy with what I bought & now I feel so happy that I have a new car with no problems waiting for me when I jump into it. I didn't think I would get this excited, but after getting the car home, all I wanted to do was check everything out in the car, to see all the new gadgets that it has, smell the new car smell, just trying to make sure this isn't a dream. It's great to own a top of the line new car. Thanks JJ & Joe. Hopefully the next time I see you, I'll be getting one of my free car washes.

I was just there to received an oil change, but decided to talk to a Sales Rep about the new features on the most expensive 2016 Honda Accord Series. Mrs. Laura was a big inspirational and knowledgeable about all the new car features. As a long time customer - I recently bought my 4th Honda at Ourisman - I have come to trust that the team always has my best interests at heart. The service department, specifically Jerry, Alan, and ace technician Ty, is as close as I'll ever come to having my own pit crew at Indy! Their recommendations on what needs to be done are always to maximize performance and safety. And when it comes to sales, no one is as attentive or thorough as Breaun Garner. Having to unexpectedly replace a car lost to an accident, which I did a few weeks ago, was, as I know it is for others, a traumatic experience. But that anxiety was relieved by Ourisman, the calm amid the storm. Thanks to Breaun and Earl Errera, both of whom sensed that I wasn't looking for a big change and expertly scoured what was available, I am now in a late model Pilot very similar to what I'd had before. For all their guidance and assurances during what was a tough time, I am in their debt. Of course, I'll be seeing them again since as a member of the Ourisman "family" of customers, there'll be plenty of service appointments ahead. Stanley Brooks was an amazing salesman. He really fought so that the car we wanted, we could have at the price we set. He took his time, despite the cold and the rain, to show us each and every car that we we were interested in and answered all of our questions. Once we got to finance , we had the blessing of meeting with Debbie Lewis, who took the pains of explaining each and every aspect of our contract with us so that we were comfortable with it. She answered all of our questions, and didn't mind going into depth on policies, insurance and even the best way to get a good interest rate on our loan.

I bought a CPO 2013 VW GTI a few weeks ago from Ourisman. I had Joe Smith as my salesperson and he was extremely accommodating, not pushy at all and really made buying the car the most pleasant experience possible. They were able offer both a good price on the car and for my trade in.Unfortunately an issue came up with my car on the drive home that involved the fuel door falling off, but both Joe and Blair Tyler were quick to respond to get the issue fixed. The fuel door was replaced and I was given a loaner car while it was in the shop, both at no charge to me. They also plugged a nail in one of my tires for free. Blair helped make the best out of a situation that I wish wouldn't have occurred (for both my own and the dealer's sake). Regardless, everything is good now and I couldn't be happier with my new (to me) car.I highly recommend this dealer and will definitely be returning if and when I decide to purchase another VW!

There was a no hassle atmosphere at the dealership and and my salesman was pleasant and knowledgeable. Also he was very willing to make sure that my questions were answered and that I had the opportunity to test drive all of the vehicles within the models that I was interested in. My only concern was the time I had to wait for financing, maybe only one or two on a Saturday afternoon,evening is not enough. I would like to sincerely thank James Jones for his time and for making my new car buying experience a memorable, since it has been 18 years since my last car buying adventure at that location, but a different name dealership.

I was just passing by Ourisman Honda/Volksagen of Laurel and stumbled in the dealership after a week of driving all across the entire state of Maryland to find a good car, a good deal and a good experience. At this point I was frustrated and felt defeated. I was introduced to James Jones by a new car salesman and we hit it right off. We hit it right off and starting talking about everything from cars to sports. Negotiations went smooth and he was very transparent. I am very happy with the customer service I received in the process of getting my first used car. It was quick and easy. I did the application and told the sales associate what I was looking for in terms of my monthly payments. He then found me a car that I love and right on my budget. Truthfully, I stick with my gut and experience on most decisions. I purchased two TDI Volkswagens (Passat and Beetle) from Ourisman in the past 3 years! Both times I dealt with Cory who is an asset to the sales team. I received a call towards the end of August from Cory congratulating me on my vehicle's 2year anniversary! Awesome! After a quick convo Cory persuaded me to come in and trade the Beetle for a Touareg TDI. I was still a little unconvinced because of the diesel news and ended up trading the Beetle and buying a 2016 Audi Q3 from Audi Silver Spring...The vehicle is nice but I am beginning to wish I went with the Touareg. Cory followed up with me and even though I had already made a purchase he still congratulated me and asked if he had done anything wrong. I explained my decision and agreed that he still deserved the highest recommendation!! I do not even remember the sales guy's name at Audi...

My husband and I have been VW owners for over 20 years now. I recently have been driving the GTI Autobahn and absolutely love the vehicle. About two weeks ago I received a phone call from Sales Consultant Chad Yingling at Ourisman in Laurel , in regards to our Leased GTI. He was very polite and very well knowledgeable on the New 2015/16 GTIs as well as the incentives VW was currently running. After talking it over with my husband we decided to stop in to see Chad. Issac the Sales Manager has always been a great help as well , and its nice to see he has such Sales Consultants like Chad on his Team. After a Test drive and working out new Lease numbers I has able to drive home in a brand new 2016 GTI. They truly make the buying experience hassle free and fun. I was in the market looking for a new car and wasn't exactly sure what it was that I wanted. A friend of mine recommended that I reach out to her salesman, Brandon Hamilton. I did and it was a great decision. Brandon allowed me to see all the cars that was on the lot and told me what each car had to offer. After teetering with the many choices the Accord was the best match. Brandon showed me all the features and even pointed things out to me during the test drive. Knowing that he also drives an Accord made me feel even more confident that he wasn't just trying to push a car but I could tell he really enjoyed this vehicle. When I walked into the dealer ship Corey Rush greeted me with a smile and a big hello! He listened to what I had to say, and found the car to fit exactly what I wanted and needed. I went to Ourisman VW as my last place to check out before buying a new vehicle.Long story short, I should have went here first.I felt like they actually cared.Literally, none of the other dealers around here compared to these guys.From the minute I walked through the door, they were welcoming and amazing.They didn't show me any vehicle that I did not specifically say I was interested in, and went out of their way to get me the one I wanted.I ended up driving away in my new 4 door Jeep, and couldn't be happier.If you are in thr market for a new vehicle, move these guys from LAST to FIRST on your list.

We purchased a CRV today through Ourisman and had a great experience. We visited another dealership before coming to Ourisman and were unhappy that they didn't seem to have a lot of time and weren't interested in any negotiations. Brandon at Ourisman Honda took the time to go over the entire car, took us for a test drive, and beat the competitor's price on our brand new Honda CRV. We are lucky to have found this place and look forward to working with Ourisman in the future.

I figured I'd go in and talk to some one about my problem. Boy was that a waste of time. I am now suffering due to their lack of organization and professionalism.

Ramon Hart showed me a 2015 Honda Fit when I came in and wasn't certain what I was looking for. He patiently explained details about the Fit and answered all my questions about other Hondas, but the thing I valued the most was that he didn't pressure me at all. Although I did end up buying a new car, I didn't think I wanted one at first. He put me in contact with the used sales department as well so that I could figure out more clearly what I wanted. I found the car I wanted for a lower price elsewhere, but still ended up buying from Ramon because he agreed to match the price and was so nice to work with I couldn't conscionably go somewhere else. If you don't know what you're looking for or want a car salesman who defies the pushy stereotype, I highly recommend Ramon.

He was extremely courteous and attentive, and made sure that the vehicle I chose was the one that was best suited to my needs. He definitely went above and beyond to make sure my car buying experience was as smooth and as comfortable as possible. He was very knowledgable about the vehicles and was able to provide detailed answers to all of my questions. Even after the purchase was complete, Anthony helped me learn how to use all of the new car's features. I came down to see a CPO car April 27th, 2015. My salesman was Don. I was promised that we could negotiate on the price. As a result, Don, the salesman, turned out to be a liar. He tried to make me a fool saying that the car was not certified and wanted me to buy a car at a full price with no any discounts. I showed him a print out where it said exactly "CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED". Also, on their website it said CPO. He said that it was not included in the price.LIAR.

My husband and I are repeat customers with Ourisman Honda in Laurel. We had purchased a vehicle over 2 years ago and found this particular dealer more willing to work with us to purchase a vehicle with a reasonable price. Having been on the internet as well as visiting other dealerships we had a prepared idea of the vehicle and price range we were willing to negotiate. We were late night visitors to the dealership. We were prepared to purchase a vehicle that evening. Mr. Howard patiently worked with us through the test drive and repeated updates as far as price availability as we decided on the model and color. Needless to say, we were there beyond other employees' working hours. We signed papers and were on our way. Thank you, Mr. Howard for your patience and hard work to finish the sale late in the evening. Due to the late night, the inside of the vehicle was less than pristine which I accept and not a complaint. I am sure that if it was earlier in the day it would have been perfect.

It was a pleasure having Anthony Daveinport as our car salesman. He is a true professional who cared about us and was patient in explaining all our questions and concerns. What we liked best was that we met him a week before and explained our intentions of buying a new car. He never made numerous calls throughout the week to remind us as many salesmen have done in the past. He went out of his way to help my wife be comfortable in driving our new Honda by purchasing a cushion so she could safely drive the car. Buying a car for myself has been a great challenge. I almost gave up until one day as I was shopping my girlfriend ask me to check the dealership as we were riding by. So I took a chance to stop in, remind you with reservation, and a cloud of sunshine came over me. When I walked on that lot I felt a sense of relief. This gentleman approach us with such professionalism and politeness. He knew his stuff and when it was time for me what I was looking for, he was the best. Mr. Jim Powell was awsome. Then Ourisman Honda of Laurel is where you need to be. I was able too get a great deal on my 2011 Honda Accord trade for my brand new 2015 Accord. I was in and out in little too no time and salesman Brandon Hickson-Hamilton was very polite as he took care of all of my car needs. I can tell this dealership is all about the customer. You should stop by and test drive their new and used vehicles.

Ramon Hart of Ourisman's Honda of Laurel sold me my 2015 Honda Fit in February. He actually came in on his day off because I couldn't make it on the day I originally scheduled. Ramon made my first car buying experience easy and pleasant. He was very knowledgeable about the Honda Fit's features and although it was freezing cold outside, he stood by my door patiently going over every detail twice! He kept a smile on his face the entire time. When I had to come into the dealership a couple of days after our first meeting, he greeted my family by their names without having to ask again and shook everyone's hand. I had my Civic in for the first maintenance. Appointment time was convenient, turn around time for oil change and tire rotation was extremely fast. Mr Wheaton and his service team even had the car washed. I didn't have a coupon that day, they used one anyway.

Last month we bought a 2011 Chevy Equinox from this dealership. They were very helpful. We had a unique situation and they helped us out for around 5 hours to get us into this suv. I absolutely love the car and I was extremely happy the day we bought it. HOWEVER, my check engine light came on within a week after purchase. It also had only 10% of oil life left. Pretty annoyed that we were sold a car that hadn't had a fresh oil change. Also, ALL of the previous owners insurance information, service history and even personal bank receipts were in the glovebox. We found that a little unsettling as well. Overall I suppose I can say we had a good experience but it's the small details that matter.

There was no pressure from him just facts and pleasantness. I purchased a vehicle that night. Even after the sale, he answered follow up questions easing my mind. What else is there to say about my experience at this dealership.I called and spoke to Anthony very nice guy about matching my price for my trade which I got from another dealer.So I went in that same day and they saw the car and agreed on the $7000 trade in value.I test drove the Honda civic I was interested in purchasing from them and we went over some numbers.So after talking to Anthony back and forth on the phone I decided to return and full out the application.He called me the following day letting me know I have been approved but something told me before I go in let me send an email inquiry about the same car under a fictitious name.The original mrsp is $21880 ,when I signed for the loan application we agreed on $19250 and I was told they could not go any lower.You would not believe the price Ramon sent me via email $17101.12.We are talking about $2000 less they were willing to sell the car for below what was offered to me.Yes, I did go in that Saturday and let me point out something else they were going to charge me $1600 for accessories although the the car only had $200 worth of accessories. I had to point that out to Ramon and they are the ones selling the car.So the manager agree to the price but only if I was willing to accept $6000 for my trade in.So remember people when this dealership agree to price match on your trade in they raise the price on the car you want.They are so shameless they still were offering me to buy the car after what they did.Of course I walked out I would not buy a car from a bunch of fraudsters , and from now on I dub them 'the Uhaul' of Honda car dealers.

I never bought a car before so I was not really sure what to expect from the experience other than the pop culture references to sleazy and high pressure car salesmen. Luckily, working with Ramon Hart was the complete opposite of what I had braced myself for. Of course, I did not have a pressing need to purchase a new car immediately so if Ramon was not pleasant to work with then I would have just left and went elsewhere. Ramon was calm, laid back while not giving any sign of apathy, knowledgeable, and engaged all while listening to what I was looking for and answering my many questions. That was exactly what I always look for when working with sales associates and vendors but, unfortunately, do not always get. I am sure Ramon wanted to make a sale but he also seemed genuinely interested in making sure I got the car I wanted and with the options I needed. Even after the car was purchased, Ramon followed up by phone and a very nice email to make sure the car was what I expected and to see if I had any questions. As expected, my brand new Honda CRV is fantastic and I love it! After some casual research, I knew the CRV was the car for me but finding the right person to make the purchase from was very important to me especially with a big purchase like a car. My husband will definitely seek Ramon out when it is time to replace his Volvo in a couple of years. Keep in touch with us and a big thank you, Ramon!

I was in the market for a use 2013 Honda accord sport blue. Me and my coworker was looking at Oarsman Honda in Laurel about two week ago. The use car sale man came out to help us look for the car. He notified us that he did not have any use Honda accord sport 2013 but then told me that he could go and get us a new car sale man to help us. This was when I meet James R. Jones. He introduced him self to me and my co worker. He really made me feel at ease and relax about buying new verses old. He took me out for a test drive twice. When I arrived I was greeted by Ramon Hart, whom is calm and soft spoken, but knew his stuff and a very genuine person. I was specifically looking for a Honda Civic Coupe, but after seeing them in person I decided against them and went for the sedan. But Ramon, was calm and helpful in telling me about all of the lovely features the Civic has and the differences between LX, EX, and EX-L. I went to for the most cost effective for my budget. We sat down to talk about the car and the terms of buying the car we were joined by Julius Green. Who is outspoken and gregarious, seemed to be an effective leader as a sales manager. The experience of buying this car was not what I expected. I was expecting to get taken advantage of because I was a single female, but I really feel like they tried to help me as much as they possibly could and were honest with me. Once it came to financing the vehicle, I worked with Tyrone Cypress. Who I felt should be a lawyer. He was thorough, direct and made you really think of what your answer would be. But at the same time I really felt like he was extremely helpful and honest as well. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed buying my first new car from Ourismans Honda of Laurel. I will without doubts recommend all friends and individuals that just complement me on my car to them. I know if I send someone to Ourismans Honda of Laurel they will be taken care of from the beginning to the end. So that is why I say my experience was amazingness at its best. I had a brand new 2014 Honda Civic XE scoped out that I knew I wanted to purchase, but wasn't sure if I'd honestly be able to afford it. I figured it was worth trying to negotiate a decent price, so I went to Ourisman last weekend and was greeted by Ramon Hart. We went to look at the car and he promised me he'd do what he could to get me a fair price. He was incredibly honest, knowledgeable and just overall an easy dealer to speak to and purchase a car from. I'd highly recommend him & the rest of the dealership to anyone looking for a car. The process was comfortable, simple and I even got a free Diet Coke out of it! Buying a new car from this dealership was a great experience from beginning to end!! This dealership team went above & beyond. This was our 2nd car purchase from Ourisman VW-Honda of Laurel. We enjoyed working with Mr. Anthony Davenport (sales manager). He was friendly and knowledgable. We never felt pressured at any time in the process of our vehicle search & purchase. I am pretty certain that we test drove just about every car at the dealership and he never lost his patience. He always remained pleasant & professional. Mr. Anthony Davenport & Mr. James Jones (sales manager)both took the time to instruct us on our high tech navigation system in our Accord. They also made themselves available in future if additional questions arose. We appreciated that immensely. Recently purchased a car in January 2014. The car barely passed inspection (meaning it was passed MD State Inspection by percentage points) as told to by the assistant service manager. The assistant Service Manager told customer that even though the brake pads passed inspection that there was no need to change them (Brake PADS was going bad then). The dealership KNEW brake pads were going bad anyway but since it passed inspection they used their own judgement, they decided not change them and sell the carHence 5 months later, the brake pads have gone bad and they give explanations that we ARE NOT REQUIRED to change the brake pads on a used car because the car to pass inspection and we don't care about the customer safety. The idea of 'Wear and Tear" is true to a certain point but NO BRAKE PADS (new or used) goes bad in 5 months unless they was already faulty from the beginning. I recommend - DO NOT EVER BUY A CAR FROM OURSIMAN HONDA VW of Laurel because all they care about is the bottom DOLLAR and NOT CUSTOMER SAFETY...

The entire process from beginning to end was so professional, and the staff was not only helpful, but they gave me some good advice for the future. Debbie was a joy to work with. I was torn between a honda ridgeline and toyota Tacoma. I shopped both brands and was literally going back to the toyota dealership after my initial experience with Ramon when I felt that Ramon did such an outstanding job with his interaction with me that I HAD to return to Honda and make the purchase. Ramon is a true professional and is very understanding to the customers needs and answered all my questions accurately and without hesitation. I purchased a Volkswagen with a "Certified Pre-Owned" window sticker back in October. I was offered an extended warranty, but specifically asked if this "CPO" VW comes with one and I was told that in fact it came with a 2 year/24,000 mile warranty, 24 hour roadside assistance and a 3 month trial of Sirius XM Radio. So I declined the extended warranty.Today while driving, my airbag light came on and I called to make a service appointment. I was told that my car was NOT a "Certified Pre-Owned" vehicle and therefore I did NOT have a warranty on my car that I only had for 4 months.I called the dealer twice today and never received a call back, so I stopped in on my way home from work. The Finance Manager went through his system and verified that my vehicle never was inspected for the CPO program. I was then told "this sticker doesn't mean that this is a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle, it means that it is certifiable and you can pay to add that." I asked why the sticker says that it IS, not CAN BE. He says "we put that sticker on all our used cars."If this isn't FALSE ADVERTISEMENT AND/OR A BAIT AND SWITCH I don't know what is. I will be contacting VW head quarters tomorrow to figure out why this dealer thinks it is OK to place a Window Sticker on ALL vehicles that say they are Certified Pre-Owned if they have NOT passed the 112 point inspection (which I've heard isn't easy to pass and NOT all VWs are actually certifiable).Also...I DID get a 3 month trial of Sirius XM Radio...so...why if I didn't have the CPO package?If I can't get this corrected even though the actions of this dealer are illegal or even just shady...you can bet I WILL be purchasing an extended warranty, but I will purchase it through another dealership. I would have NEVER bought a car with a hard top convertible and motor without a warranty!!!!DON'T BUY FROM THIS DEALER AND IF YOU DO, YOU BETTER GET EVERYTHING WORD THAT COMES OUT OF THEIR MOUTH IN WRITING.

Ourisman VW of Laurel is the best in town. I travel past other VW and Honda dealers because of Ron Lane and Ed Wheaton. They are knowledgeable and make me special. Their facility is beautiful, they even have a popcorn maker in service which my kids loved. Isaac in Sales is tremendous. What an environment. Their management is on top of their game. I explained that I was not settled on a brand yet and was looking at a couple of other brands before making a final decision. I used Edmunds.com (as I always do) to price out the car I was interested in purchasing - a Honday Odyssey EX. Edmunds.com can automatically send local dealerships your contact info and the vehicle your are interested in buying. Marshall Sanders (at Ourisman Honda in Laurel, MD) was one of the first to respond to me and he invited me to call him, which I did. All I had to do was mention the price that Edmunds.com suggested as fair for my zip code, and Marshall immediately beat it. No haggling, no pressure, no nothing, just "here's what you get and for how much it will cost." The deal was done. I came in two days later and drove home my new van. Ourisman Honda was one of the highest rated dealerships in my local area, and one of the most convenient to get to as well.The whole experience at the dealership went smoothly. Marshal had us in and out of the paperwork process in under an hour. Also worth mentioning was that at the last minute my wife had a change of heart about the color of the vehicle, and Marshall actually worked a deal with another dealership in the area to swap vans while in the meantime we were completing paperwork. All we had to do was come back one last time to get a few accessories installed that we had paid for, but that was well worth getting the color we wanted.The financing went great, too. We spent the longest part of the day here, but it was time well spent considering all of the options, warranties, maintenance plans, etc... I am always skeptical of this step, but in reality you really do get a lot for your money. Worth mentioning, my 2 year old was with us the entire time at the dealership and she thought it was the best thing ever. Marshall immediately got her a big helium filled balloon and he was very considerate to my whole family. The kids' room is great, too. We look forward to enjoying the service that our new neighborhood Honda dealer offers us in the days to come.

I had the best car buying experience that I've EVER had and I've had many. I started emailing with my salesman Marshall weeks before I came to the dealership to hash out a few numbers and wants. He was right on it! He was quick to respond not to mention totally fair. He worked around me (not the other way around) and was able to get me right where I wanted. It felt like I was buying a car from a best friend not an unrelated car salesman just trying to make their commission. I would recommend him a thousand times over he was great and so easy to work with and went above and beyond. The finance manager Tyrone was also a pleasure to work with not to mention funny. He was not pushy and took into consideration the customers needs/wants as well. I find this part of the experience can either have you walking a way happy or really upset that you may have been taken for more than you wanted to spend, not the case here. Tyrone did his do diligence and went into great lengths to educate not necessarily "sell" extras that in the long run really do protect you and your new asset. Bring up Leonardo DiCaprio to him and see what happens ;o) Super fun, good, great, happy experience and I am picky and expect A LOT, if that tells you anything, its just the way you would want and picture (in your head) your car buying experience to go!!

I found working with Marshall and the Ourisman sales team very easy and relaxing. I was always greeted at the door when I came by and helped quickly. Marshall could answer all my questions including explanations of feature and mechanical differences between the Honda CR-V to a Subaru Forrester. It meant a great deal to me that Marshall and the dealership welcomed my dog during visits so I could spend time with her as we conducted business. My optional accessories came in and were installed within a week and several unexpected problems with the new Honda CR-V were addressed quickly, although I do feel disappointed having to deal with these at all in a new car.

Problem: Malfunctioning display for cabin temperature controls.Required two trips - #1. Diagnosis of issue, and ordering of replacement parts;#2. Installation of replacement parts;There was a communications issue with this service. Somewhere between trip #1 and trip #2, communication was lost between the Parts department and Service department. The Parts department never told the Service department about receipt of the ordered part(s), and the Service department did not 'follow up' on the part(s) that were ordered.Thus - I was not contacted for 'trip #2', to have the actual work done/part(s) installed.I was unaware of any issues, however after waiting what I considered an appropriate amount of time, I contacted the Service department to make an inquiry as to their status. They checked, I was told that the part was 'in', and made the follow-up appointment (#2) to have the work done.Trip #2 - Went well/smoothly.I consider this experience somewhat of a 'fluke', and since the 'communications lapse' has been addressed, I have no doubts that their level of service for future visits will be excellent.

Was the absolute worst car purchase experience I have ever been a part of. I was working with a sales rep Christain who was amazing, he showed me many cars and was very knowledgeable in all the cars that I test drove. This car was for my wife who has had many problems with her hip so she was upgrading from a manual Jetta to an automatic Tiguan. The car we wanted was not at this dealership and the told us there was no problem getting it. After I aggreed to a fair price with Kevin Shin and Christain, I called my wife up to get our trade to the dealership so we can finalize the deal. My wife and 23 month old daughter were there within a half hour. We were filling out a credit application when the came back and said that the car we aggreed to purchase was no longer available. We were quite confused on why I called my wife (who was with my 23 month old child who was past her dinner time not to mention bed time) if the car we aggreed to purchase was not available. This is when Isaac Chee was very rude to and disrespectful to my family. We were just trying to make sense of the situation, he was acting as if we had no right to ask him what happened. He did find the exact same car that was an hour farther then the other one we were going to buy. While I wasn't happy with the way this happened so far I understood and realized hey some people make mistakes, Iasked for time alone to discuss with my wife what we should do with our daughter who was extremely tired and hungry. He did not give us two minutes to talk when he interupted us to tell us we needed to make a decision now. I asked for another minute and he got extremely rude and raised his voice to us (the customer!) and told us that we did not want the car and the deal was off! We never said no to the deal we had the General Manager basically through us out of the dealership. We never once got an appology from Isaac, and he basically cost his two sales people comission on a deal that was 95% done. While all this was happening my car was being appraised for a possible second purchase. I will never do business with Ourisman as long as Isaac Chee is the GM.On another note, we purchased the same vehicle 2 days later from another VW dealrship and got a better deal then what Ourisman was offering us.

Alex is always helpful and friendly. He always responds to whatever questions I have, which sometimes is quite a few. Recently I had some routine service work done and he applied a discount. I did not even have to have any printed coupon which saves me the hassle of printing, and remembering to bring it with me. Also saves printing paper and ink, a little greener is a bonus. He saved me a few dollars on something I did not even know I could get a discount on. I appreciate anytime someone saves me money.

My recent visit here was unsatisfactory: I purchased a used vehicle; five days after delivery, the vehicle was showing signs faulty transmission/eco system that was never corrected while under warranty..I immediately requested to choose a different vehicle was told by the vice president: we dont do that After four months of fighting for a refund; I ended up trading the faulty vehicle in at another dealership for another brand and lost thousands!!! I will never purchase another vehicle from this place again.

Overall the experience with buying the vechical was okay. Nothing too special, however there pricing and tatics are typical car dealership tatics for getting you to buy stuff you don't need. The only major problem I had was they don't really support you with pre-owned sales. I was also lied to when the sales person told me the vechical came with a full size spare and then I came to find out that it actually didn't. It also only came with a single key and the dealership made me pay for a second, although it was discounted, I believe they should have picked up the tab to keep the customer happy. They are more interested in the sale than keeping a long standing customer relationship. I will not buy from this dealership again.

My husband and I worked with a wonderful young salesman, named Ezequiel Ojeda. He was very patient with us and very knowledgeable about the Honda Accord. We are 4th time Honda buyers. I was making a switch from a 2010 Honda CR-V to the Accord. I have owned 3 CR-Vs and loved them all. I was ready for more luxury and better gas mileage. Ezequiel made this transition very easy and pleasant. Earl Errera and Debbie Lewis were great as well. Before coming to Ourisman, we did try two other Honda dealers and were not happy with their corporate culture. We knew we found the right place when we first walked into Ourisman. I went to Ourisman's Honda on Monday 19th August to look for a Honda Civic. I was approached by Desmond Wilson a young salesman. I was not about any nonsense and stated that to Mr. Wilson after he introduced himself to me. I told him about my financial situation and explained to him not to waste my time if he knows I cannot get financed. On Tuesday, Mr. Wilson called me and told me to come in the finance manager can work something out for me. I told him again not to waste my time coming to the dealership if it was not going to be successful. I started off looking at a used Honda Civic instead of a new one. I ended up not getting the Honda Civic but a Volkswagon Passat instead. Upon leaving the dealership I noticed a loud sound coming from the right front tire. I called Mr. Wilson back and told him the car is about to fall apart. He then told me to return it and he will give me something to drive home and have their service department look at the car. I did not leave the dealership until 2am. It was late and Mr Wilson maintained superior customer service. Cuddos to him for a job well done..

I had visited several auto dealers in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area over the past two months. I was in the market to purchase a new or used vehicle for my daughter who was in need of safe, reliable transportation to commute to and from school as well as to her part-time job. I had been turned off by several of the dealers i visited either due to high sales pressure, unwillingness to understand or accept that i intended to have my daughter test drive numerous vehicles until we found the right one for her or because they did not make myself or my daughter feel comfortable and provide the type of customer service i was looking for. All that changed when i visited Ourisman Honda in Laurel, Maryland. There i was met by Marshall Sanders, who from the initial handshake listened intently to our needs, displayed patience as we carefully looked at available inventory both new and used and was extremely knowledgeable on the various features, safety and facets of the vehicles he showed us. We ended up purchasing a black 2013 Honda Civic LX. I was completely satisfied not only with Marshall's customer service skills but with the entire experience at Ourisman Honda as well. We felt at complete ease during the entire process and i know i will return there for future vehicle purchases. Our experience at Ourisman Honda was excellent. From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed, attended to and listened to by the employees. We did not plan to buy that particular evening, but the experience with Marshall was so positive, he made us want to buy. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and very much a "straight shooter". We did not feel taken advantage of and certainly felt like he was working to make us happy. Earl and Marva were also friendly and willing to jump in and help at any point. We would highly recommend this dealership, and particularly Marshall Sanders, as a salesperson. This dealership, salesperson, and staff far surpassed any previous experience we had this year. Using ConsumernReports we were given a fair price and Desmond Wilson was very good, very informative without pressuring us in any way. One suggestion for improvement would for the finance lady to do the same. We understand she is to inform us about extended warranties and she certainly took our no to them with no problem but still she was not as non-pressuring as Desmond was. All in all this was the easiest car purchase we can remember.

My wife and I were in the market for a second car so we could work different shifts. We had been looking for a few days before we were referred to Marshall. I contacted him on the weekend, and by Monday, he had a few options for us to consider. We worked on getting the pre-approval, and kept speaking about options. At first, we couldn't afford the Honda Fit, so we tried other avenues. Every used vehicle that I found that I think would work well for us, Marshall would check to see if it was still available, and every time it was sold. It was then that we started to give up hope. Marshall went above and beyond, searching for alternatives. Eventually he was able to secure a great interest rate, and helped ensure that we could afford the new Honda. We made a 2 hour trip to Ourisman Honda, and got started. The sale was smooth, even though I was under the weather. I would absolutely recommend anyone purchase a vehicle from Ourisman, and make sure that you see Marshall. He was a pleasure to deal with, great guy, and very hard working. He wants YOU to be happy with your purchase, not his wallet. Rare breed in the car industry these days.

I went to Ourisman Honda to look at a 2013 Pilot I saw on their website. I had just walked out of a Toyota dealership a few days before because it was an unfriendly and bad shopping experience. I will never go back there again for any reason. Everyone at Ourisman Honda was friendly and professional. The car buying process went very smoothly and now I am the owner of a 2013 Honda Pilot. Within five minutes of clicking the contact button on the USAA website Christian called and offered me their bottom line price. This price offer was lower than the USAA online estimated price and of course lower than the other dealerships we visited...so we made a deal.However, they didn't have manual car in our desired color on hand...no problem...they drove one in from PA. This is in stark contrast to one other dealer we had visited who specifically stated they could only offer cars on their own lot.Not only did Oursman VW of Laurel have a great price and went out of their way to provide what the customer wanted, their employees were kind, pleasant, and courteous. After we finished purchasing the car, we spent another 20-30 minutes just talking. Going to Oursman VW in Laurel was like walking in on family. I will definitely recommend Oursman VW of Laurel to others as a dealer who doesn't waste your time trying to squeeze every penny out of the customer for cars they want to get off their lot.

Service Manager Keith Breeden personally traveled to my home to trouble-shoot my 2013 Honda Accord that would not start. Issue turned out to be a loose cable that was easily resolved. THIS IS WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE SHOULD BE. I won't hesitate to take my car to this dealer for future service.Happy Customer

Received excellent service with no haggling games. We worked with Marshall Sanders who was extremely professional, friendly and straight forward. He knew is product - as well as the competition- and did a great job comparing vehicles respectfully. We had been getting the run-around at another Honda dealer in the area (supposedly the largest - hint!) and left there because of the games and what seemed to be a lack of honesty. Ourisman not only beat the other price we were being offered, but made the offer even better with a good deal on accessories. Buyers beware their price are more then other dealers. I saw the ad online I send an email. Owen called me I asked him if I can get the same price at a closer Honda since I live in Baltimore he said NO that I had to go to see him. I didn't know better I believed him went up there. He didn't not give me the attention and explain anything to me. We were there from 1 till 8:30 is really a long story. He. Took my keys for my trade in I was looking for him So I could get something to eat because my husband is a Diabetic. He was not around I asked him for them Keys but he ketp disappearing. I had the worst experience ever!!!! I went back so they could show me how my car works cause he did not go over the car with me. When I got my Nissan I was really happy with my sales man I even send people to see him. This time I will never send people to laurel to buy no car. Manger was not help either !!!!They are Dishonest people I will never recommend them.

My wife and I bought 1998 2003 and 2006 Accords from other Honda dealers. Our experience at Ourisman was by far the best we've had. All of the staff---particularly Desmond--were friendly, knowledgeable and low pressure. It felt like they guided more than sold. Joe was very helpful and Tim kept his agreements. Trust was established and felt thruout the buying process. So---none of the negative car sales stereotypes are true at Ourisman---we will be back!

I took my car to get serviced at Ourisman LAUREL honda. I had been a loyal customer there for 6 years since buying my car (brand new) taking my car to them for almost EVERY maintenance minder service. I knew they were ridiculously overpriced but I hadn't anticipated they were 5 times the amount of regular service cost. Don't believe most of these reviews on here. I had taken my car to them 2 weeks ago for reminder service B1. Came out having to replace brakes. fine, I paid over 400 dollars (even with coupon) for my rear brakes alone. 3 days later after service, I hear a rattling sound when I turn on the engine. Finally when I get some time off work 2 weeks later I take the car back into Ourisman honda for service. Not only did they claim that the noise wasn't overlooked during their inspection they stated it was my fault. and normal wear and tear occurred when this issue started 3 days after they replaced brakes. They even proceeded to claim that I must have been in a recent accident to cause this "wear and tear." They were not helpful and on top of it all for something they caused wanted to charge me almost 300 dollars. I went to Midas and paid for OURISMAN"s MISTAKE" a whooping $50!!!! Where as they were going to charge me 5 times that amount for an issue they probably caused themselves. I get nothing from writing a review...but I know that people out there want honest opinions. As a loyal customer of Honda I am disappointed at their service. They will never get my money again. Its up to you, but if you have money to throw away by all means use them and PAY FIVE TIMES THE AMOUNT OF THE ACTUAL SERVICE COST knowing that they only care about getting your money and not providing quality service. My only regret is going to them all these years because they obviously don't care about customer satisfaction, loyalty or service. They only care about the bottom dollar.

We came in to pick up our 2011 CRV that had been serviced, my husband had to hurry back to work. We then decided to look around and ask about trading our lease in early. Our family is growing and we needed more room. Desmond Wilson helped us look at a 2013 honda odyssey. He went over prices with us and never pushed a sale on us. Desmond Wilson, knew what my husband wanted. Myself and Desmond, worked together on trading in our 2011 CRV and getting our new vehicle. When my husband returned to the dealership all he had to do was papperwork and we were out the door with our new van. The customer service we received from Desmond was wonderful. He was very friendly and more than happy to answer any questions and offer us something to drink, he even helped us clean out things from our old car, into our new. Overall we will be back again when our new vehicle needs serviced. We would recommend Ourisman dealership and Desmond Wilson to our friends and family. This was by far the best sales experience we have ever had, we our very pleased.

In a great testament to his professionalism, Marshall very clearly knows these vehicles backwards and forwards, and was able to answer all my questions easily and in great detail. Walter was able to explain all the new features and or changed features from my 2010 Jetta to my 2013. Isaac was upfront about my deal and I like that (no BS). The Associate Mike Scandora was very professional, friendly, knowledgable and patient with us. He understood that we only came to look at the cars and not purchase anything yet he continued to show us and explain the features of the car. he didn't get frustrated or impatient at any time. Always had goods things to say. He explained about buying now rather than later. He did everything to satisfy our concerns. We did buy the Honda! I was in Maryland for my daughter's college graduation in Arlington on Saturday, May 18, 2013. Friday at lunch Michelle's bank called to say someone had used her debit card number to clean out her checking account. Following lunch the battery icon on her Odyssey came on. She'd purchased a new battery for her three year old Honda in January, so I suspected the alternator had issues. We drove straight to Ourisman Honda. Arnold wrote up the vehicle and had it checked quite quickly. Arthur Howell began talking with us -- a pair of very frazzled females -- while we waited and when I explained that this was her only vehicle and eight of us needed to be in DC on Saturday for Michelle's graduation, he sent me to talk to Keith, who called around, found an alternator, and had it picked up Friday night. Keith took us over to the Enterprise people where we rented a car for the night so that we could pick up my son-in-law from the train station. As we left the dealership, Arthur handed me his card and said, "If you have any trouble, call me." What an angel. By 9:10 Saturday morning, we received a phone call to come get the working car. I can't begin to tell you how impressed I was with everyone we encountered at Ourisman Honda. Thanks to them, graduation day was a celebration free from worry.

I have to tell the world how awesome this dealership is! I have had a couple car buying experiences, and until now they were either nothing to write home about, or out and out horrible. But after going to Ourisman with a friend on her car buying journey, I was so impressed with Marshall and Debbie, I went back and got my own new car! Marshall was extremely nice, courteous, and knowledgeable without being pushy or forceful. He gave honest, no-nonsense information and had incredible patience, making sure I was happy every step of the way. Debbie is THE most awesome finance person I have ever worked with. After spending the past month searching the perfect vehicle that was within my budget I must say it was a breath of fresh air when I arrived at Ourisman Honda. My dad and I cannot stop talking about how nice and professional Mike, Chip and Tyrone were today. I first called Mike to make sure the vehicle I wanted was still available, after a bad experience earlier this morning with another dealership, I was happy to hear that the car was still available. Mike went outside to check the car out himself and sent me photos of it, as he knew I was traveling quite a distance to come see it. I really appreciated the extra steps he took to make me feel confident about the car on my way up there. He was very friendly and helpful. He helped me transfer everything from my current vehicle to my new one, including my EZ Pass which I would not have known how to remove it from my old vehicle and stick it on my new one. He went above and beyond in every aspect of the sale and it was greatly appreciated. Chip and Tyrone made my day and made us feel like we were very important customers. They, too, could not have been any nicer and were EXTREMELY helpful.This was my first experience buying my own car and they made it enjoyable. It was such an exciting this for me to purchase a car on my own without my parents and I could not have asked for a better experience. After two weeks of agonizing shopping between 9 dealers, a car being literally sold out from under me at one dealer. I then made a visit to ourisman thinking I would be just as disappointed. Not the case at all. Mike was extremely experienced and very understanding of our situation! He was not high pressure however had a knack for a respecting our requests without attempting to play games. So thanks to Mike Scandora and ourisman, I can say for the first time in all the years I have shopped for cars, I have never had the respect I deserved as a customer. We have been searching for the perfect vehicle for our family for the past two months. That search came to a close when we visited Ourisman Honda of Laurel this weekend. We were immediately greeted by Mike Scandora while looking at a used Honda Odyssey. Mike spent a lot of time figuring out what we wanted in our next vehicle and we came to the conclusion that buying a new Honda Odyssey would be the best decision for us. We purchased a 2013 Honda Odyssey in the exact color we wanted and with all the options we were looking for. He made the process simple and transparent for us. When we came to pick up the van he spent 30 minutes going over all the features and set up the radio/phone to our prefererences. We are extremely pleased with Ourisman and Mike Scandora. We called with a few questions and Mr. Scandora went out of his way to take photos of the car we were inquiring about and letting us know all the details before we drove from out of state. Once we arrived he made us feel at home with his genuine kindness. He was very helpful and understanding to what we were looking for. We ended up getting the exact VW we wanted, and love it. I was looking for a good used car, and my search led me to Ourisman Honda in Laurel. It was the first place I stopped on my car shopping day. Mike Scandora, the sales rep, greeted me at the door and helped me with my search. He was very friendly and helpful. My wife and I took the car for a drive and enjoyed it. Mike pulled up the CarFax listing and helped me compare it with other cars that I had on my list to look at that day. He helped me to see the value of the car they had, and I decided it met my needs and was the right price. He was even able to get a little bit more knocked off the price. Shortly after buying the car, I noticed the check-engine light came on and the cruise control was not engaging. Mike bent over backwards to get my car in for service as quickly as possible, even though it was during the very busy President's Day weekend. They were able to diagnose and fix the problem at no cost, and it really is a good car. When I am in the market for my next car, I will most likely start by calling Mike at Ourisman Honda in Laurel!

My wife purchased a 2013 Accord and returned it the next day because it felt to big for her. She test drove a Jetta and loved it .The salesman from Ourisman V.W. accompanied us to the Honda store and talked to Hank the sales manager who wouldnt even pick up his head from the computer. He pointed to the gentleman next to him and said trade it in . The appraiser gave us 4000.00 less than we paid less than 24 hours earlier. I completely understand that the value goes down once the vehicle is titled and I knew we would lose money. We went next door and bought the Jetta at full sticker price but my wife loves the car. The sales manager had zero compassion for my wife who was visibly upset , he never even looked up . We had a very good experience with our sales person , but when we needed some help from management there was none.

I have used this dealership to service my 2008 Honda Odyssey for many years. I have always worked with Randi in service. I come here because I get a great deal. An example, they replaced my timing belt, water pump and all of the belts (plus a few extra things I wanted done) for just over $1000. I compared what they quoted me at another Honda dealer and at an independent repair place. Laurel Honda Service was the exact same price as the other Honda dealer and was within $15 of the independent dealer. The deciding point was the Laurel Honda service staff. They are professional and knowledgeable. I feel like they care about me as a customer and they have the best interest of my Honda in mind. I would whole heartedly recommend this service center for your Honda. As the Laurel Honda service staff reads this review and wonders what customer I am -- who else brings Randi candy bars?

We were pleased with the condition and presentation of the car and especially happy because of the price. Great buying experience of a 2010 Honda Crosstour at Ourisman Laurel Honda. I used their online information request and was promptly called by Greg Killian who let me know the vehicle I was asking about was available and I told him I would be there in 30 minutes. Upon arrival at the dealership Greg just returned from making sure the car had plenty of gas and we went on a no rush test drive. Greg is a very personable salesman and a pleasure to deal with. The whole purchase process took a little longer than expected (about 4 hours) but overall a good experience.

I have purchased our last two vehicles from Jim and Earl at Ourisman of Laurel. In both cases, they exceeded our expectations at every opportunity. We are huge fans of Honda and tend to purchase new vehicles often, so we are very familiar with the sales process and the potential for disagreements, misunderstandings, etc. with car dealers. We have encountered none of this with Jim and Earl. The buying experience is actually pleasant - something we look forward to (imagine that!) I can't recommend them high enough. We have already sent one friend their way (and received many thanks for doing so), and will continue to do the same. Do yourself a favor and start with them.

I can honestly say that this dealership is the most awful place to buy a vehicle and the staff is very discourteous. I purchased a used car from them and I completely understand that the car is very old. However I did not expect that quite a few VERY expensive things would break on it and render it pretty much useless in less than a year!!!!! Within 6 months, the power steering rack went out and that is a $1000+ repair, My Catalytic converter is bad ( the dealership service department told me it was my o2 sensor and would not work with me to replace it while it was under warranty) both my drivers side window regulators have gone out and now my key gets stuck in the ignition all the time. I have had other issues too that they actually did cover under the 2 month warranty like the mass airflow sensor going out. Who could sell someone this and not feel bad about what a piece of junk vehicle it was?? Ourisman Honda in Laurel!!! I called and spoke to a service manager and he told me that no one put a gun to my head and told me to buy it.. oh wait I'm sorry that this was the ONLY vehicle that fit in my price range that I could get qualified for and that I didn't want to lose my job and be homeless AGAIN!! He said he didn't understand me not wanting to be homeless.. how insensitive!! I work in customer service and as far as everything I have learned in this job.. Your supposed to help and appease the customer at all times!!! I was so disrespected by everything this dealership did!!! I wrote an email to the GM about everything and received no reply. You would think that he would be worried about a severely unhappy customer.. guess not!!! I DO NOT reccommend buying anything from this dealership!! Even if it is a new car! They will leave you high and dry and be rude to you when the vehicle starts heading downhill.The overall experience with this dealership was terrible!

James Jones is the person to go to when buying a vehicle. He was very humble and welcoming when I went to look for a new Honda CR-V. I told him exactly what I wanted, and he helped me find what I was looking for. He made me feel really comfortable, and let me take my time into making a decision. Took 2005 Honda CRV in for recall. In the process of fixing the power window unit, the multi point inspection they did revealed several "safety an security issues" such as cracked ball joints, brakes , compliance bushing and rusted heat shield on the catalytic converter.. Total was $1800. The service rep was not sure if the vehicle was safe for my daughter to drive. I chose not to have the service done and the next day drove the car to my regular mechanic to have the repairs fixed.. After going over all of the repair issues, they found that NONE of the repairs were necessary. DO NOT TAKE CAR HERE FOR SERVICE. I am reporting the dealership to the Maryland Attorny General for Consumer Affairs to see what they can do about this

This was the EASIEST experience ever... Everyone who helped me treated me as if we were all old friends or even family. No pressure to buy anything. Allowed me to browse around at my leisure and allowed me to be as picky as I wanted to about my Honda Pilot. Financing was GREAT, Marva took her time and explained EVERYTHING to me. Pros and Cons. She left no stone unturned... AMAZING. Marshall is the best sales person hands down. On the test drive, we drove and talked as if we were old college buddies. He showed me every feature of the truck and did not frown when I asked what may have been "dumb" questions. If you're purchasing a new or used Honda, this is the dealer for you....NOW... Honda Service. Along with the new 2013 Honda Pilot I just purchased, I also have a 2003 Honda Accord... My service advisors are Randi and Jerry. These two are OUTSTANDING... Randi always answers any questions I have, tell me when I can hold off on doing certain services (especially if it's out of my budget) and is very timely. She not only explains everything to me, she takes her time to go in depth about the service that's being performed on the car. Jerry, he's my truck guy. I have a running joke with them, I tell Randi she gets the car, Jerry get's the truck. I ran over a nail with my brand new truck. I knew Marva explained the road hazard that I purchased, but of course you never really understand anything until it happens. Jerry took his time explained it again, got my truck in and out and I was back on the road and at work without being late. UNREAL. I couldn't thank him enough. Overall, I know I sound like I'm just rambling on and on about this dealership, but I've owned many cars for many years. This is my 3rd Honda Dealer that I've ever been to, and out of all THIS IS THE BEST....second to none...

My car buying process was pretty painless. It began with me obtaining a price through the United Buying Service and Marshall immediately reached out to me buy email. When I arrived at Ourisman on Saturday (10/6), Marshall treated my wife and I great. I told him what I wanted and he told me the color I wanted would be in on Friday (10/12). That Friday he called to let me know it was there and Saturday (10/13) I went in the morning and picked the car up. Tyrone Cypress, Business Manager, took car of all the financial paperwork as fast as he could while making sure we were clear on what we were purchasing and our options.One of the accessories I ordered was not in when I picked up the car but Tony in the service department promptly called me when the spoiler arrived and scheduled an appointment to have it installed.The misses and I had a great experience from start to finish and will definitely consider Ourisman for any future services & purchases.

Purchased 2010 Civic on September 21. Vehicle purchase took about 3.5 hours. Was unable to get any additional reduction in the price as posted on Autotrader.com. Financing through dealership enabled me to get an interest rate 2 percentage points lower than my pre-approved financing arrangement. Car has performed well after first week of ownership.

Bought a 2011 Civic from here in Feb. 2011. Starting July of 2012, my Air Conditioner started having intermittent problems. Occasionally, it would take about 20 mins for the AC to come on. I scheduled a time to come in for them to fix it...waited about an hour...and they said it was fixed. Then the problem started happening again a few days later.I scheduled another time (for a saturday morning) to have it fixed, and Jerry said that I could drop it off overnight and have it done by noon. I did just that. Then, I called around 11am, and they said that they had not gotten to it yet. They proceeded to tell me that night drops are "last priority" and that they would get to my car when they get a chance. I reminded them that I needed it by noon and that Jerry told me that they would have it done by noon. When I went in at noon to pick it up, as my complaint to the GM had gotten them to actually look at it by noon, they said nothing was wrong with my AC and that since they cannot duplicate the problem, they could not fix it.This went away for a while until this past monday. At that time, the AC went completely out, so I drove straight from my office to the dealership (ourisman of laurel). When I got there, the service adviser came out and felt that there was no air coming out and that the AC was in fact at full blast (ie: it was broken and he saw that). He then told me that his GM said that they were not going to help me, but he gave me no reason why. I reminded him that they had told me they needed to see the problem so they could fix it. To this he responded, "your words are falling on deaf ears."The service adviser did not document that he witnessed my broken AC, so when I complained about this to American Honda Co, there was no proof that the service adviser saw it was broken.Ourisman refused me service and is just trying to hold me off until I am out of warranty so I would then have to pay to get this fixed.They are rude, inconsistent, and are only there to rip people off. Still haven't gotten my AC fixed, because they refuse to help me. Guess they just don't want to bother with warranty problems.

This dealership disappointed me so bad that I could scream. I was looking at a VW used convertible bug they had and I live about two hours away from the, so I kept in contact to make sure the car was still available. When I get there I ask for James who comes out and says well the car didn't pass inspection but you can look at it, he said we have inspection places that we can send it off to, to get re inspected. So I say sure I'll look at it, then he comes back and says well the car is already on the trailer going back to auction. As I am standing there I see the car on the back leaving the lot. I ask him why didn't he call me he said you were suppose to call and let us know you were coming and I did re hear the voice mail he left me which I have saved and it never said give us a call. He was very rude and should not be a salesman, i have met salesman and he probably is the rudest one. He also blamed it on that he wasn't at work yesterday is what he says. As I am leaving I said you should have called me he said "Uh Okay" and walks back inside. He didn't try to do anything to make the situation better he was just flat out RUDE. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS PLACE AND WOULD NOT GO BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My experience at this Honda dealership was more than I expected. On a whim (July 18, 2012), I decided to make a trip to the dealer to see what they had. Being that I was already a Honda (2000 Civic) owner, the decision to purchase another Honda was easy. Immediately I was greeted at the door by the receptionist, Mrs. Sonia. Shortly after, Mr. David Jones introduced himself and this is where it all began...I was expecting a pushy car salesman and walked in with my guard already up. I was pleasantly surprised that Mr. David Jones was nothing like the "salesman" I had envisioned in my head. Mr. Jones spent the next 2 days (July 19 & 20) with me and allowed me the opportunity to ask as many questions as I needed. He was patient throughout the entire process. His customer service was outstanding beginning with the offers for refreshments, snacks and lunches, letting me test drive numerous cars, negotiating a good price and following me to my home so that I could drop my "old" car off (I wanted to drive the new one home). He made sure he knew what was important to me as a consumer, wasn't pushy at all, didn't try to sell me a car I was ready to settle for...and even suggested I take a day to really consider my purchase.Although I did spend the majority of my time with Mr. David Jones, I had the pleasure of meeting other staff and sales associates while I was there. Mrs. Sonia at the front desk, Mrs. Lisa Call (who stayed late to look through her inventory of incoming cars and also told me "not to settle"), Mr. Tyrone Cypress in Financing, Mr. Andre Turner, Mr. James Jones & Mr. Wilfredo Iraheta (who runs the car detailing portion of the dealership).... I had just received word that my car was totalled after I was smashed between 2 SUV's and I only had a small window to turn in my rental car and get a new vehicle. I found this VW Tiguan on line and was interested in the vehicle. My finace and I drove up to the dealership and ended up speaking with Rachel. Though there was confusion with the vehicle I saw on line, Rachel was full of knowledge about VW vehicles. She worked with me and understood what I was looking for. We ended up getting the vehicle we saw on-line after Rachel was abel to clear up the confusion. Rachel did not force us into a sale and she did not force me to look at something that I was not interested in look at. She even insisted that I take a day to decide before jumping into the purchase of a slightly used vehicle, especially because this would be my first SUV. We took the night to think about it and the next day we went to purchase the vehicle. Not only was Rachel very helpful, everyone there was very nice, we were offered a piece of pizza and some water, and we were constantly being checked on. We ended up having some problems with the vehicle, which Rachel helped ensure that everything was taken care of. She ensured we had a rental vehicle while they took at look at ours and the whole team was nothing but apologetic for the incident. The car has been fixed and we have been very pleased with our decision. My finance is even planning on going back there next year to work with Rachel on the sale of a VW vehicle. The greatest experience I have ever had in purchasing a vehicle.

I decided to buy a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta for my wife for Christmas. My daughter recently bought a Tiguan, and a week later, I chose a Toureg. We are all very happy with the cars and service so far. Although I've referred friends to the dealership (and they themselves have purchased vehicles), personally, this is about the 5th car that I've purchased from Ourisman Honda of Laurel. I'm extremely pleased with the level of service that I receive -- I always leave with a great feeling. And even though I live approximately 35 minutes from the dealership (yes, there is a Honda dealership in my own area), I choose to continue going to Ourisman Honda of Laurel for all of my car related needs, including service.This is the first time I've worked with Shawn, and as I have already stated in an email to his manager, his level of service is second to none. I've worked with Joe previously, so when I knew that I was going to purchase another vehicle, I specifically requested to work with him again. I have a friend who intends on purchasing a vehicle later this year. Needless to say, I already know where I'll be taking her, and who we'll be working with.I think the ratings that I've given in each area are appropriate and well deserved.

Frank had the car detailed and cleaned and surrounded the car with balloons upon our arrival to sign the paperwork. My daughter was ecstatic and was so excited. He was extremely professional, non-pressuring and he really listened to my concerns with regards to what I needed and wanted in a new vehicle. While the wait to the finance office was lengthy due to a shortage of assistance in that dept., Mr. Jones offered to purchase food for my boyfriend and I--to me that's going above and beyond and it was much appreciated--we were starving. My deal was finally closed at 1:00am--the longest I've ever experienced, and while it was a long day of decision making, punching numbers and waiting, it was a rewarding experience to say the least--one that I won't forget, not to mention it was my birthday and I'd rather had been elsewhere celebrating, but Mr. Jones made it pleasurable as best he could. Visited this dealership prior to bringing my wife and 12-day old baby in to finalize the purchase. Shawn and staff were initially friendly, but pressured me to purchased that day for an additional $500 credit toward a vehicle. Sale was to include a trade-in. I asked Shawn for the amount I should write on the check; he said $11,590 and I have his scratch paper showing his calculations. I later brought my wife and baby into the dealership. He had tweaked some numbers and now the price was over $1,500 more than our originally agreed upon price. He denied offering the $11,590 price until I showed him his scratch paper at which time he said that wasn't the "drive away price." I'm not sure why I would write a check for $11,590 if that wasn't the "drive away price." We walked out.

Joe was helping me find insurance and we tried 4 different companies who were all giving me VERY expensive quotes. Joe called one last person he had built a relationship with and they gave me a quote that was at a great rate. Joe was past scheduled tr to get off work and I was beginning to get irritated that I spent 4 hours there and walked away with nothing, but Joe's efforts allowed me to walk away with a car that I desperately needed. Not to mention that when I went to pick up my old car from the lot it wouldn't start.

There was no extensive haggling necessary, the pricing was more than reasonable, and everyone from the manager to especially the dealer were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and related to what we were looking for. I have been shopping around for used cars for a few weeks now but without much luck because the selection of affordable used cars was subpar, I was faced with a rude car salesman, or a combination of the two. Fortunately, I had the pleasure of working with Owen Stepp at Ourisman Honda of Laurel and could not be happier with my purchase.Owen was very honest, took the time to get to know me and what I look for in a car, and really helped me make the best choice based on my needs without any pressure. He was very approachable and easy to reach -- he allowed me to text him/call him whenever, and really worked around my crazy work schedule. I ended up debating between two cars, which can make some dealers impatient, but Owen was understanding and did not sway me one way or the other. Although we did have a checkered experience with our finance manager (Joe Rasulzad- please see separate survey for review), Owen really showed that it's possible for a dealer to work with integrity and to come up with a deal that's beneficial for both parties. I was happy to give him my business. Your dealership is lucky to have people like Owen!

I looked at every other van out there. The Honda Odyssey was the last one I had to look at before I could make a decision. I came in and Marshall was very accommodating and had me test drive the vehicle which I immediately liked. We went back and worked on the numbers in a very amicable way. While I was in with finance I had to get my sons from daycare. They were very understanding and put everything on hold until the next day when I could finish up with them. I came back the next day and everything was taken care of, I merely needed to sign and drive away. Great customer service!

Marshall is a great sales person!! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I did not go there to buy a car, but got a great deal so now I have a brand new CR-V!! I could not be happier. The staff as a whole was great!! :) Every question was answered in great detail and I felt I had his full attention the entire time I was there (over 4 hours). I was there past business hours on a Saturday evening and the staff was wonderful!! They were there to be sure that I was a happy customer which I most definitely am!! I was very pleased with the service I received from Marshall and Walter when we leased our Honda Fit. The only thing I would suggest is the dealership offer gifts to their customers after they purchase or lease a new vehicle. Come on, it would not be that much of a loss to offer a t-shirt, golf balls or a hat would it? Also, the Honda that I leased did not come with a rear cover for the trunk space to keep items I have in the back concealed from prying eyes. What is the deal with that?Again, overall I was pleased with the service I received from Marshall and Walter but the dealership could offer some comfort items to make me remember Ourisman Honda when I go golfing or have the sun blocked from my eyes when I go fishing with my new Honda hat...

Marshall in Honda Internet sales was wonderful, and honest, I was pleasantly suprised. He gave me a price that met my expectations and when the dealership didn't have the color I wanted,(polished metal for a 2012 Odyssey), he located one and had it ready for my wife and I that afternoon. Great price, and more importantly, true to his word, something that is rare in car sales. I would recommend anyone looking to purchase a new Honda to contact Marshall, you won't regret it.

They found the color I wanted on the model I wanted and got it moved it to the dealership while I was doing the paperwork. The price was the best price locally available according to Consumer Reports. They did not play games with me before agreeing to the final price. They did a nice job of going over the car features with me when I took delivery. They filled the gas tank. It was a very good experience and I would deal with them again.

I came in knowing what I wanted and knowing the price I expected, and my service representative did a good job of processing everything for me so that I could get in and out as quickly as possible without playing games.

I had already been to three other dealerships. James, Owen, and Joe treated me with great respect. The negotiation process was painless and the price was competitive. My experience with the other dealerships did not include the total package of a nice looking facility, helpful and kind salesman, and a helpful and kind finance person. Laurel Honda provided this whole package. This dealership is located an hour away from my home and I would defintely drive here to purchase another vehicle. This was a very pleasant experience all around.

Dealership appeared to be no strings attached. I test drove and asked for out the door pricing on civics. Our salesman Robert and the manager were very informative and explained pricing in detail. I ened up buying a nissan instead of a civic, but I will look there again next tim Im looking for a car.

I met Jim Powell through internet sales. This is the 3rd vehicle I have purchased from Ourisman- previously Tischer when I first purchased in 1992. This was by far my best car buying experience to date. It was a pleasure working with Jim. He listened and made every effort to accomodate the specific make and color I requested(LX manual shift commuter car). Jim was patient, honest and knowledgeable. After a week of dealing with sellers in PA, NJ, Easter Shore and Delaware (where I now reside); I finally contacted Ourisman. Jim was the only dealer who did not waste my time telling me that a manual shift in my color and price would be challenging then offer me something I did not want. He did not harrass me via phone and email but did make it clear that he wanted my business and assured me he would earn it. He did! Jim found the car and had it delivered to test drive the next day. I am loving my new LX manual but more importantly I am LOVING the mileage I'm getting (I am averaging 37 mpg 1 mile above the 36 mpg listed:-)Yes I read the reviews of the competition (Hyundai, Kia and Ford). I did test drive them all but for my money, I chose to forego the bells and whistles and stuck with what I know. This is my 4th Honda; and with a 138 daily round trip to work, I need a car I KNOW I can depend on. No trade ins. We still have a 2001 Accord and 2005 in the driveway for our teens. Thanks again Jim!

Mike and Isaac were amazing. These guys were total professionals and went above and beyond even after we drove off of the lot. My wife and I went in and purchased a 2012 VW Sportwagon. Initially, we installed an upgraded after-market navi through the dealership (it was not the VW equipment found in the VWs). In the end, it just did not work out. We did not like losing some of the steering wheel controls and there were some issues with the bluetooth. Mike and Isaac were great in helping us get the original equipment reinstalled. Further, Isaac kept on the look-out for new VW brand upgraded navis for us. That allowed us to go back and get the navi we wanted at the time of purchase. Also, we had our battery go dead for an unknown reason about 6 weeks after purchase. Isaac called us to have us bring the car in to have it checked out, just in case, to make sure there was nothing wrong with the car. These guys are in the sales department, not service. I have never had a dealership (sales department) continue to make sure the customer was happy months after purchasing a car. Typically, from my experience, one you sign on the dotted line, the sales staff is on to the next customer. Not at all what we experienced from Ourisman. I highly recommend this dealership and when the time comes, we will surely purchase our next car with these guys. The only regret I have is that we bought our first VW from Fitzgerald! haha Thank you Mike and Isaac!

I came into Ourisman pretty nervous as I had never bought a new car, only cheap used ones. I had never purchased or leased a new vehicle before, and so I thought it was going to be a pretty intimidating experience. I first met the gentleman (Darryl? It kills me that I can't remember his name because he was so nice and knowledgeable) who showed me the Jetta I was interested in and was totally no pressure about any of it. I told him that I would be limited by my finances, but he and Isaac (hilarious guy and very honest about my options) both worked out a way for me to get to a monthly payment I could afford with the New College Grad program. Although I did have a little hiccup with having to come back to resign the lease, Debbie was great, patient with my total lack of mathematical skill, and helped me every step of the way. I've had the Jetta S for 10k miles now and I've loved it. I just had it serviced for the first carefree maintenance, and the gentlemen in service were great too! It was quick, and they explained everything perfectly. I'm pretty confidant when my lease is up I'll be returning to Ourisman for purchase another Volkswagen!Ben C.

VERY VERY SHADY! (PLEASE READ!)My girlfriend recently visited this dealership and was looking at a new Jetta. She test drove the vehicle at several places and decided to e-mail her sales rep for their best price. She was quoted in an e-mail their best "out the door" price and was happy with it. When we went back to Ourisman of Laurel, the salesperson had the correct price but when the sales manager came into the room, he had a brand new set of numbers to show for the final price. His number was several thousand higher than their "out the door" quote was. He immediately began to say that the salesman made a mistake and that he shouldn't have quoted that price. After 10 minutes of running around and asking the salesman questions about how he quoted the car price, the sales manager said he could "almost" give her the internet quote but he would have to include a $345 fee that was overlooked. After discussing this so called "fee" with the sales manager and how the dealership should honor their internet sales price, he wouldn't honor it. My girlfriend was still getting a decent deal but if it was me, I would have been out the door.Second part of the story....When we went into the finance office to complete the deal, the finance officer - Joe, spent about 30 minutes looking up her credit score and was "crunching the numbers" He finally began to break down her car payments and they were much higher than she anticipated. It turns out Joe was giving her a finance rate of 5.9% with a credit score of 750! Volkswagen is running a special incentive of 1.9% if you qualify and with a credit score of 750, she definitely qualified. When asked about this special rate, he acted as if this was news to him and hadn't heard of this offer. He starts to type away on his computer again and says he can honor the 1.9% rate and that it must be a new incentive. (It wasn't it was being offered for several weeks before she began looking) This dealership is completely shady and I would recommend staying far away as possible! I would never buy a vehicle from this dealership.

My first visit to Ourisman Honda of Laurel was in October 2010. Although the dealership did not have the 2 door Accord V6 (manual)at the time, the salesperson, Paul Morin, contacted me in November 2010 to inform me the automatic was available, and was welcome to test-drive. I immediately loved the V6 during the drive, but yet it was not a manual. Being an avid "stick" driver, I insisted my next car must be a manual. In January 2011, Paul contacted me again with the news that the coveted 2 door black Accord V6 (manual) was in stock and ready to test-drive. A few days later, I drove that black Accord V6 manual off the dealership lot, and have thoroughly enjoyed it since. I have received countless compliments on the car; from complete strangers to family, friends and coworkers. Since the purchase of my vehicle, I have referred a friend to Ourisman Honda of Laurel. I was very pleased with the customer service that I had received from the associates. After coming in at 6:30pm at night, and wanting to drive off the lot that same evening, the representatives really came through for me. I stated what I wanted as far as make and price, he showed me the inventory, which wasn't much, but I understand being that you sell Honda's, and I was off running or driving. He let me take care of what I needed to take care of and then come back to the dealership to finish the process. I definitely recommend this dealership to family and friends.

Paul Morin took an extremely competitive quote I had in hand from another dealer and beat it by $50. On the phone and by e-mail, Mr. Morin also seemed to be someone I could work with comfortably. This convinced me to move my purchase to Ourisman Honda of Laurel. I had not requested any installed options, and Ourisman Honda of Laurel allowed me to have two options that had already been installed on the in-stock vehicle I purchased without charging me extra for those options. Ourisman Honda of Laurel gave me one of the best possible deals available at the time of purchase on a 2011 Honda Fit. I would highly recommend this dealer.

I started test driving and researching new cars in anticipation of a purchase approximately 6 months ago. When I solicited quotes from from several local dealers online I was beyond shopping for cars and shopping for dealers instead. Jimmie promptly contacted me via both email and phone and was waiting for me at our agreed upon appointment time. Jimmie was very knowledgeable about the excellent selection of Honda Fit's available and was extremely easy to work with. I had no real plans to purchase a car that evening but Jimmie was able to price match a competitor price I had received, get me a fair trade on my used car, and with unbeatable financing rates from Honda I sealed the deal on what was without question a pressure free purchase. Doug Killian got me the deal I needed to make this purchase. The whole sales process was quick and smooth. My four year old son who can be pretty difficult had a blast hanging out with the other car salesman and enjoyed the kiddie room. Doug explained the features of the car to my wife and has followed up to make sure she was happy with the car and following through with the scheduled maintenance. There was a strong family atmosphere with little or none of the usual animosity and petty bickering you seem to find between salesmen at a car dealership. Very happy and will purchase my next car from Ourisman.

I had looked for a new car for about a year and was considering a Honda or a Toyota. My old car was 15 years old so it had been a long time since I had the experience of buying a vehicle and dealing with high pressure salespeople. I walked out of many dealerships before meeting Paul Morin the salesman I eventually purchased my car from. He was honest and straight forward from the beginning.I didn't feel pressured into a fast purchase. Right off the bat Paul Morin offered what I knew was a fair price for the car. Great service and while i was getting my 2001 bug serviced , i seen a New Beetle on lot Color being Red Rock , so i ask Ed if i could test drive the Red Rock , so I took it for about 30 minute ride ,came back and i told him i had another vehicle i wanted to trade so i put a hold on Red Rock and once i took my 2001 back home ,i brought my other car to dealership and a deal was made and Ed had the red rock bug cleaned and ready so in hour i was Tagged and taking Red Rock home , i have 2 bugs , But I have Order a New Touareg and the 2001 will go once my Touareg is delivered . This is a 5 star dealership , All the staff is friendly and Helpful .

This was the easiest car buying experience in my life, and I am a Senior Citizen. Paul and the Business Manager were so helpful in every way, and I was out of the dealership in about 3 hours. The time included a test drive to my condo garage to make sure the vehicle would fit. The dealership also had to get the color I wanted from their other dealership in Silver Spring. Plus, I want out to lunch. All of these things were accomplished in three hours.The next day, Paul came to my condo with the cargo cover that had to be obtained from another dealership.Terrific experience. I worked with this salesman to obtain an internet deal for a 2011 Honda Odyssey for my company. I had no trade-in. Straight cash. I search online and 'built my Honda' from the website and knew, in general, how much the vehicle would cost. I wanted the EX-L model with leather interior and a satellite navigation system. When I contacted Ourisman Honda, Tim assured me that he could get the car within a few days. The car came in on a Wednesday. I arranged to pick it up on the following Monday.Prior to this, I asked for a signed proposal detailing all the features I would be getting on the car. I wanted to make sure Tim understood what I wanted and what I didn't want. He failed to do this. I sent him at least 3 emails and spoke at least 3 times on the phone. He even had another sales person assist him when he was not at the dealership to make sure the deal went through. I never ended up with a proposal detailing what was on the car. The price quote from Ourisman was $2,000 less than a competitor in Virginia. We wanted to buy the car in Maryland because its closer to our downtown DC business. When I went to pay cash for the car, the saleman failed to report to work. The car had not been detailed and DID NOT HAVE THE GPS SYSTEM WE REQUIRED. All this for nothing, even though I asked at least 6 times for a complete detail of the car's features. The person representing Ourisman in lieu of the salesman, Andrew, was not willing to negotiate with me and seemed to not care whether he sold the car to me or not. I walked out of the dealership with nothing in hand and an extremely diminished perception of new car dealers.I have purchased 2 Volkswagens and one Honda from Laurel Honda Volkswagen. I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN THE DEALERSHIP AGAIN. The quality of your sales force is WAY BELOW PAR based on my experiences with both American and foreign car sales. Good cars, crappy sales force.

Just bought my second car from Ourisman VW, and I don't know that I'll buy from any other dealer. From the salesman Vincent, to Isaac the sales manager, everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about VDubs. They accommodated every option I could think of as far as vehicles and financing, and made sure the process was as painless and transparent as possible.Lot selection was great, and I never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision. Another thing I loved was the lengthy test drives, and the fact that since this place is right on 198, you can really push the car on roundabouts and the entrance to 32.My wife and I had a great experience, and are very happy with our latest VW.

I bought a Volkswagen GTI from this dealer. It provided the lowest Internet price of any dealers in the area and one of the promptest responses to my Internet contacts. Paul (sales) was low-key, unpressured, friendly, and took time to explain details of the car and paperwork. Finance staff was also low-key and informative. Walter (finance) did not try to offer me additional, unwanted options beyond what I already intended to purchase. While he explained additional coverage, he discouraged me from buying more expensive warranties that he said it appeared I didn't need based on my driving patterns. He also was helpful in finding a lower APR rate than I had found myself. Overall good experience and I'd go back to this dealership for future purchases.

brought my car in for a check engine light problem. dealer asked me to bring the car in early monday so i decided to just drop it off that friday. got back the car on monday afternoon, and realize frot bumper totally cracked and scratched. service manager told me they were not going to fix it because i had no proof they did it. he claimed he saw through the camera that the car was always park rear in. i ask to see the video and he said it was a waste of his time. 500$ fixing this bumper that they broke is not a waste of time if you ask me. it was my word against his. i will never ever go back there. i brought my car in only to spend money fixing the problems they cause me. service manager is an asshole and his customer service is as horrible as it gets. i wouldnt recommend anyone even getting a oil change there.

I have purchased three GTIs from this Dealership in the last three months. From sales, to financing, to service the entire team of folks who assisted us were, in a word, incredible. They were professional, courteous, supportive, helpful, friendly, and literally "went over the top" in customer service and support. In all my years of car buying, I have never been to a better dealership, and this includes their service department. They treat you not like friends, but family -- and that says it all. To say I am impressed is an understatement. This Dealership and their personnel - specifically, Issac, Joe, Alex, Paul, and Brian should be commended and praised. I have already recommended them to numerous friends and will continue to do so. Thank you Ourisman VW of Laurel -- you are the best! One final comment, when I needed their fast help to replace a car totaled in a collision, they went the extra mile in finding a replacement and getting us back on the road in the shortest time possible, all the while being supportive and sympathetic to our predicament. We use Ourisman for servicing our Hondas. JD made contact immediately after receiving my email request for a price through an online pricing service a couple of weeks before I was ready to buy; he was very helpful throughout. It took a long time at the dealership (6 hours!), but we got the car we wanted, which they had to get from another dealer up in Baltimore. I'd bought my other two Hondas from another dealer, but was very unhappy with the way I was treated there, so I'd switched to Ourisman for servicing years ago. This was the first time I'd bought a car from them and I have to say I will go back for my next Honda...unlike my experience at the other dealership (which has since changed hands). This is the fifth Honda I've bought!

Once again, I would like to thank both Joe and Tyrone for helping me out when I was in a pinch and needed a second car. They when far beyond what I was expecting in their helpfullness and friendlieness.Our search started like any other. We looked at the avalible dealerships and looked at about what we wanted. After slowly whittleing down the list we settled on Ourisman. The fact that we had a friend recomend the dealership also was a big help. After calling the dealership, where where put in to contact with Joe Dorsey. He listened to what we where looking for and asked the needed questions to get the information from use to help him help us make a decisionJoe Dorsey was called in advance and we let him know what we where looking for. Mostly, something dependable and economical. We ended up purchasing a 2001 VW New Beetle and it is running like a champ. They first gave use the avalible choices in the price range we where looking for. Once we picked out what we wanted, we gave it a test drive. Joe did a great job at explaining where everything was in the car. All options and extras where ponted out. After we said "Yes" to our choice, Joe finished up the paperwork and Tyrone went over all the financing with us. Now that we have transportation that is not only mechanicaly sound but also covered under warrenty, we are resting easier. We are still waiting on the Buracracy to proccess our new tags but that will happen.I have to admitt that I was a bit aprehensive when going in but they quickly put me to ease and made me feel comfortable and informed about my purchase. - Salesman was courteous, respectful, and attentive. Because of him, this was a better than expected buying experience, especially after the experience at a dealer prior to this one. Ourisman of Laurel is a winner, hands down. Earned the 5 rating for friendliness and helped with overall experience rating of 4.- The dealer website offers a worksheet to appraise your trade, and provide you a price range to work with for your trade in. Don't believe it, they don't even come close. This prevented the 5 rating for customer service.- Should have been no issue as arrived with approved financing in hand, but still ended up having to haggle with the financing manager. This earned the 3 rating for price as I did not leave with what I negotiated (shared blame).I will say, everyone met was friendly and helpful. The dealership is spotless. Marshal and his manager went above and beyond to find, and get, the exact vehicle we wanted without having to compromise. I highly recommended this dealer.

We just purchased a VW Tiguan at Ourisman VW Laurel and would like to makenote of the wonderful service we received. There was absolutely no sales pressure or banter in the whole process. Brian Decker, our sales consultant, spent a great deal of effort locating a vehicle (in New Jersey) that matched our needs and in time to take last minute advantage of the government's stimulus program. The whole team at Ourisman was efficient and personable and remained good natured even at midnight when we drove off with our new car.

We visited Ourisman Honda several weeks ago while our 2000 Jetta was in the shop for repairs. We werent exactly certain what vehicle (model or brand) we wanted, so Marshall showed us what we asked for, the Pilot, Odyssey, CR-V and Element. He was more than willing to show us around the lot, introduced us to some of the other staff, and took us outside to see the various vehicles. Marshall actually took time to ask what we needed from a vehicle, listened to our responses, and showed us the vehicles that most closely fit our needs. Several weeks later, we were still researching but wanted to test drive the CR-V and Element to narrow down our choices. Though Marshall understood we werent ready to pull the trigger, he gladly arranged the test drives for us without any hard sell tactics or persuasion to select one product over the other. Marshall was very open about the pricing and availability of the Honda Element we selected. Though not in his inventory, he personally went to Bethesda to retrieve our car from another dealers lot. We started the day with the assumption that we were going to be purchasing a Toyota Venza, but Marshalls helpfulness and the test drives changed our mind. By the end of the day, we drove home with our new Honda Element.

I spent a lot of time pricing out a new Civic to make sure I got a good price. Dealerships came close with pricing, but had extras I just wasn't interested in. I had to buy them in order to get their quoted price. Some dealerships never even sent a quote, they called me repeatedly asking if I would just come to their dealer. I just wanted a price quote. Marshall sent a quote right away and the pricing was competitive. When we decided to go to visit him, he had the car pulled to the front door so my family didn't have to wait long to test drive. I liked that when it came time to do the paperwork there were no extras and the quoted price was honored . We appreciate how Marshall does business, very professional. Also, thank you to Walter Cook for expediting the paperwork process when we told them we had prior arrangements that afternoon. A big thank you to Marshall and the team at Ourisman Honda. We love our new Civic and will recommend friends and family to them.

On 1 Aug 09, after a bad experience at HONDA OF ANNAPOLIS (please see my separate review detailing this), my wife and I went to HONDA OF LAUREL to inquire about purchasing a new Honda Pilot. This experience could not have been more different than that in Annapolis.Sales rep Ricky Kim was highly professional, courteous, patient, and knowledgeable about the vehicle, and the supporting financial officer (Tyrone) was thorough and helped us conclude the deal highly satisfied and confident that we had purchased a good vehicle at a fair price. I was car shopping after not getting what I wanted from my regular (i.e. previous) dealer and met Marshall; he won my business with his courtesy, knowledge, and professionalism. He treated me with respect and was open to negotiations. I made a deal on the car I wanted and overall had a very pleasant experience. I strongly recommend Marshall and the dealership to anyone shopping for a Honda and a dealership they will feel comfortable with returning to again. I know I will be returning next time I am looking for a car.

Marshall was very courteous and professional. He allowed us to take our time and make our own decisions without pressuring us and he had all the answers to our questions. He agreed to match a very good price that we had found on the Internet even though it was close to or below the dealership's bottom line. When we opted to shop a different model Honda, he didn't bat an eyelash and offered us a great price on that car, as well. After purchasing the car, we returned to the Internet and discovered that we had indeed been given an excellent price. Processing took a little long but it was already night time on the last day of a busy month when we made our decision to buy, so the delay was understandable. Overall, it was a very pleasant, low stress experience. We feel like we made the right decision and that Marshall really helped us get there. I'd strongly recommend him and this dealership to others shopping for a Honda.

We came to the dealership straight from another dealership in town after having a bad experience. We met with Marshall, and he worked with us to buy our car. He was knowledgeable, transparent, and easy to work with. We got the car we wanted for less than we were going to pay at the other dealership, and with NO hassle. He did not have to go back and forth with his sales manager, and play the "game." We agreed on a price, he confirmed it with his manager, and we drove the car away that night. It was a refreshing change from our experience at the previous dealer. I would recommend Ourisman Honda, and specifically Marshall to anyone looking to buy a Honda. They have figured out that if you treat people right, they will come back to you time and again. I plan to recommend these guys to everyone I know.

After being mislead by tricky internet quotes by other dealers, I finally called Ourisman Honda about their internet quote and spoke to Marshall Sanders. Which was of course against other dealers advise. They told me that Ourisman would NOT honor the online rates and would add 1500 to the price for sure. Marshall promised me I would not pay a penny more then the quote I received on line. I went in to meet him still extremely leery. Marshall quickly won over my confidence, found the exact car I was looking for at another dealership, gave me a great deal on my trade (a whole lot more then ANY other dealer was willing to do), and had my brand new CRV ready for me the following day at a rate LESS then the internet quote!!! I would highly recommend Marshall Sanders and Ourisman Honda!!! Everyone there was EXTREMELY nice from reception on. They gave me a new confidence in the whole car buying process!!

Both employees were very professional and helpful. I was interested in the accord, but quickly changed my mind after driving the passat. The German car is definitely far superior and the Volkswagen in particular has proven to be a great vehicle to drive and own. I will definitely be back for my next purchase.

my civic was my first brand new car and i was really nervous about going to a dealership to buy one. i couldn't have made a better choice by going to ourisman. ryan dunn was my salesman and he was really down-to-earth, efficient and knowledgeable. he made my father and i feel very much at ease. we were then turned over to walter, who helped us finance my new car in no time and i felt like we left with a really good deal. i wanted a black civic lx sedan and at the time they didn't have one on the lot - i expected to have to come back in a few days, but they sent someone to another dealership to get me the car i wanted that night. i was really surprised and thrilled by that. all in all, my experience at ourisman was perfect. thank you so much, guys.

The service we recieved was excellent. The sales people were very responsive and helpful as well as being very patient. They made the process enjoyable. We were shown several different models of what we were looking for and never tried to push us to something we did not like. In the end we found the perfect car that fit our needs at the price we wnated. The next time we are in the market for a car, This is the first place we will look.

On June 11, 2009 I visited the Honda of Laurel Dealer in Laurel, MD. It was at this time that I spoke with a salesman, Ryan Dunn. Ryan was very professional and pleasant. At this time I explained to Ryan my credit situation and how much of a deposit I would be able to put down on a vehicle. He, acting as a liaison between myself and the finance manager, Brian, received the okay to accept the $2400 deposit. It was also explained on this day that I had $600 at that moment, would have $300 on June 26, 2009, and the remaining $1500 on July 24, 2009. As a result, I wrote the necessary postdated checks and signed contracts and all other necessary paperwork. The following week I contacted the dealer to inform them that the horn was not working (brand new car). They took note and wanted me to bring the car in to be checked. I brought the car back in to be checked on June 16, 2009. At that time I was told that the part had to be ordered and I would be called when the part came in. I received a call from the service department on June 25th, informing me that the part was in and that I could bring it in to be repaired. During all of the service calls, I was still in contact with Joe Razulzad regarding the financing of the vehicle. He had informed me that I no longer had to put the initial down payment of $2400 down but $1800 instead. Since the dealer at that point had $1000 of my down payment, I only owed $800 which Joe said could still be paid on July 24, 2009. I scheduled the appointment and brought the car in on June 30, 2009. When I returned on July 1, 2009 to pick up the car and return the rental, I was told (by service) that the Finance Manager, Brian, needed to see me. I walked over to speak to Brian and this is when he informed me that We are going to need the last $800 now or we cannot allow you to stay in the car. I asked him to explain and he matter-of-factly told me that they could no longer wait until the 24th of July. Since I did not have the $800 on that day, I had no choice but to ask for my $1000 back. At no point did Brian seem regretful nor did he offer me any other deals to try to accommodate me. Now I know that I am no finance professional but at the very least this was terrible customer service. Especially when I did nothing wrong and kept up with my end of the finance deal. I think that this was very unfair and I feel that I was toyed with. Why would a dealer allow anyone to drive a car for 3 weeks and then all of a sudden snatch the car away? At present I am in the process of filing a claim with the Better Business Bureau if no other reason then to make other buyer aware. I am appalled at the service I received and I would never refer anyone to go through what I went through at Honda of Laurel. I always thought of Honda as one of the leading car dealers, no any more. I now have no desire to ever want to deal with a Honda dealer again. This has even abolished my love for Honda vehicles. I am no longer in the market for one and have decided to shop around for a Toyota instead. I would only hope that this is recognized as an unfair act and that this never happens to anyone else.

We went to buy a new Jetta Sportwagen at Ourisman VW dealership located in Laurel, MD. Our test drive was fun; salesman was pretty patient in explaining all the new features of the car. However, dealership did not have the car in the color and trim we wanted. We wanted to place a factory order; but the sales manager stepped and promised us to get a similar vehicle from a different dealership if we agreed to a proposed deal right then and there. We agreed; but the sales manager could not keep his promise. He could not get the vehicle from multiple dealerships. A factory order was placed for us and we were told that the original deal will be honored. But after 2 months of waiting, we found out that the new vehicle (that was ordered for us) was sold to a different customer!! They did not even notify us. Apparently the sales manager did not want to honor the original deal anymore!! He made the original deal to reach his monthly quota and when once he realized that he could not get the vehicle in time, he had no intention to honor the deal. Not only he promised to deliver a car that he did not possess, he kept us in complete darkness about the factory order. He had no courtesy to talk to us after he sold the factory ordered car to someone else. Beware of false promises to you hear when you visit this dealership. Most importantly, don't trust anything that comes out of the mouth of dishonest and unethical sales manager at Ourisman Volkswagen of Laurel.

My wife and I are on the market for a new vehicle, and since we live about 2 miles from Ourisman Honda of Laurel we decided to stop by and check out the CRV.We initially were met by a salesperson who took us on a test drive and showed us the SUV. After we were done with the test drive, we were introduced to Steve Cole, a sales manager who asked if we had any questions. When we responded that we did not and were not at the point where price discussions were necessary, we were taken by complete Surprise!! Mr Cole invited us to participate in their win before you buy. We filled out a very simple form and taken to a version of a lottery machine from which he would draw 4 balls. If the numbers on the balls drawn matched the last 4 digits of my drivers license, we would win the car we had test driven!!! While we did not win the CRV, we did win a free tank of gas, which was promptly given to us.Although we have not decided which vehicle we will purchase yet, if that choice is a Honda we will definetly give Ourisman Honda of Laurel a chance at our business!It was a very plesasnt experience, and both my wife and I agree that the chance we were given to win the car showed us that this dealership is not your usual car place!!!By the way, when we got home, I went online and found that the odds were about 1 in 10,000 of winning the CRV, not to bad for a free shot at a vehicle!!!Kudos Ourisman for a unique and fun visit to a dealership!!

If only Honda knows what is happening in this dealer, Honda will definitely fire all these people, they are giving a bad impression about the quality of Honda.What a bad experience buying a vehicle. at first they will give you an internet price which they call "on the road price", but hey wait, it will be the deceiving part of it, the amount on papers will be different.The sales people are very pushy and eventually liars about the deal.They say they like to earn your business but in fact they are the one who only "earns their business", not the consumers. TRY OTHER DEALERS, ITS NOT WORTHY TO TALK WITH THIS OPPORTUNISTIC PEOPLE.

Steve Cole gave me a quote no other dealership in Maryland or Virginia would touch and he honored that quote to the very end. A few competitors suggested Steve wasn't being honest and upfront but Steve stuck to his quote.The only way the purchase could have been easier was if they came to my house. I was in and out of the dealership within 30 minutes. I purchased a 2008 Odyssey EX-L for $25k. By far this was the best new car buying experience I've ever had.

I was promised a second key with the purchase of my car from Mr. Abdul the finance person and never recieved it. When the defective key I got with my car broke I was treated like a rip off artist by Mr. Parme probably because he is racist as I am an african american woman in my 20's. He told my mother he would give me a discount for the key because of what I had been promised and then when I got to the service department and he saw me then his whole attitude changed and he only offered a $5 dollar discount. After both my mother and I had to raise a fuss he then tells Mr. Campbell the service manager over the phone to just take off whatever he could. He never apologized for how he treated me. Then when the service department programed my key they messed up my remote start that was on the car when I purchased it and when I called Mr. Campbell to let him know that it needed to be fixed because it worked before they touched my car he nastily tells me it not his responsibilty because it is after-market. I still have not resolved the issue but if I have to take it all the way to the corporate office he will either have his techs repair it or if they don't know how(as he said they don't) they will pay to get it done.

William was my salesman. He was a young fellow, 20 years old. He didn't know everything about the vehicle I was buying, but he knew enough of the vehicle's features to make a decent presentation. Prior to going there, I obtained prices from several local dealerships via e-mail. When I went to Ourisman, it was only to LOOK at the vehicle... Ourisman is close to where I work and therefore convenient. However, William asked "What do I have to do to get you to buy this vehicle from us?" I responded, "...match this price." They matched the price, but tacked on $325 for mud flaps, wheel locks and pinstripes. For the record, my cost for the vehicle was either at or a touch below dealer invoice.Then, I got to the business manager Tyrone. He was a nice enough guy, but I have to warn the inexperienced people out there: He will try and get ya! He gave me a higher interest rate than what I should have gotten (8.xx %), but I noticed it and told him I should have gotten the 3.9%. He fixed it, and responded that he didn't know Honda was still offering that. He was then very adament about the extended warranties. In fact, in the way he presented the warranties he made it sound like you had to get one of them. He never gave an option of "no warranty." I declined all the warranties, and he tried to make a case that the warranties had all this value but finally gave up after about 30 minutes.If you're the type of buyer who knows what you're doing, then you will be able to deal with Ourisman and get a good deal. Bottom Line: Recommended for veterans of car buying, Not Recommended for rookies.

There are so many things wrong with this dealership, it is difficult to decide where to start.<br><br>1. Returning calls: In your dealings with them, they will never return any call unless you are buying something from them. For various reasons (see below), I've had to call them about 30 times. Their voice-mail system is cosmetic. Never has a call been returned. If you get a person on the line and they tell you they will call you back, do not believe it. They've told me this about 10 times and never called me back.<br><br>2. They lie outright: I bought a Honda certified used car. They advertised it as such on websites, and sold it to me telling me that it was Honda certified. Right after the sale was made, it slipped out that that the car wasn't Honda-certified. It was just their own certification. I threatened to cancel the sale, and they assured me they would get the Honda certification at no additional cost to me. After I had called them and left about 15 voice mail messages, they were yet to call me back. So I went over to the dealership. They informed me that it would cost ME another $2000 to get it Honda certified!!<br><br>3. Unprofessional record keeping: I also bought a Honda Care warranty from them when I bought the car. About a year later, I discovered that they had never activated the warranty. I called them several times. After numerous exchanges over the phone and many faxes of proof that I had indeed made the purchase and other documentation, I still had to stay on their back for about 3 days before they even started work on activating the warranty. It is now an additional one year since that time (2 since the original purchase). The warranty is still not active. And they still keep telling me that they will call me back.<br><br>4. Rude Representatives: Ourisman's representatives have the most charming pre-sales manner I've ever seen. (That's why they get 3 on friendliness.) The problem is, it all changes after the purchase. They make it quite clear they have no further interest in dealing with you. There have been only two post-sale occasions on which they were polite to me over the phone. On both occasions, it turned out they had another customer sitting in front of them - they couldn't very well afford to be seen being impolite.<br><br>5. Overpriced service: I only checked their service prices once, about 2 years ago, so this information may be dated. They quoted about 70% more than O'Donnell Honda for the 45,000 mile service. Needless to say, I'm going to O'Donnell!<br><br>I've warned all of my friends to stay away from this dealership. This is the advice I'd give everyone else, too.

I believe you have to expect a little less than stellar service at a Honda dealership. The salespeople know they have a product that sells itself, so if you won't pay the price, they have someone else who will and you can "move along." Still, I appreciated the lack of high pressure, or stupidity like "what would it take to make a deal today?"
