I want to thank Chris Kinder at Palisades Mazda for taking the time and patience to walk me through my recent purchase. The car I purchased was used, but it was beautifully prepped and ready for me when I arrived. The paperwork was done efficiently, the price and fees I was quoted were the same as the ones I paid. If I had a question, and the answer was not the one I wanted to hear, I was told it anyway. Straight forward, no lies or shades of gray. I like that, and it helped me make a decision based on whether or not this vehicle would work for me. Also would like to thank Demitri Pappas for the initial test drive, which set the tone of the entire process. Nice people to work with.

There are not enough words to express my gratitude for Chris Kinder. I previously owned a Mazda CX-9 and traded in my old Mazda for a new one. Best buying experience I ever had. My salesman was a gentleman and didn't pressure me into a sale. He was not there the day I picked up car and the sales man that walked me through the electronic features was also a gentleman and was incredibly patient with me and my wife in explaining everything.

Had read great things about the Mazda 3 in Consumer Reports and Car & Driver, and dealing with Chris just added to it. He's a VERY patient man, answered all my questions. I wanted a car with a light interior and Chris tracked one down for me within a day or two. He handled my financing quickly, fully explaining all the papers I was signing. Chris also sat in the car with me for over an hour, going over all the things that were new and foreign to me. Obviously, I was quite pleased!

I visited multiple car dealerships in Rockland, NY and also NJ, and I have to say that palisades Mazda provided the best experience. Christopher Kinder was very helpful and willing to work with me. He offered me a test drive and I was able to push the car to its limits. I bought the mazda6 in May 2016. There is no other car I wish I bought. Great customer service by Chris. I was treated with respect, not something I can day about the other dealerships down the road. I recommend palisades Mazda not just because they have great service but also great cars. I had the misfortune of having a bottle of balsamic vinegar explode in the back of my 2016 CX-5. Had to drive around with my car smelling like a salad, even after we "cleaned" it at home. There's not much to talk about. I had a car in mind and Demitri had to find it. In about a week the vehicle came in as described, it took about an hour to write the check and sign the papers and I was on my way. There's not much room to negotiate, most dealers are similarly priced and I always discard too good to be true. I noticed it had 200 miles on but since the car appeared to be from CT and they did me the favor of returning my leased Altima I felt this is a nonissue. Overall this was a good experience

I was incredibly impressed with this dealership's excellent customer service and willingness to work within my financial requirements. I originally came to this dealership for service on a 15 year old Mazda (which honestly was not worth repairing) and ended up leasing a 2016 CX5, and couldn't be happier. Recently leased a CX-5 from Stan and the crew at Palisades Mazda. I shopped around, made a few inquiries and finally wound up speaking with Stan. He was courteous, thorough and quick to respond with the details; I had a few ideas I was looking for in terms of lease packages and vehicle options and he was able to lay out my choices clearly and concisely. Our test drive went smoothly and my wife and I were sold. Stan made it a point to walk us through all the features of the new dash in our new truck (In sub freezing temperatures at that) before he let us drive off the lot. Hats off to Stan and the team. JohnDid my due diligence with other auto dealers, Mazda and other dealers in NY and NJ. The pruchase of my 2012 CX-9 at Palisades Mazda was a relatively easy, no stress experience. Dan McCormick spent quite a bit of time with me one day test driver different autos. Stan Rosen was patient and cooperative while trying to close the deal and John Stillman arranged for a loaner vehicle when I brought the car back for an acrylic coat and bulb that needed changing on the transmission panel. All nice guys. I would recommend them.

Jeffrey Urbina was extremely helpful. I was there to have my battery checked because I was told by another place it was low. They were able to charge it and perform an update on my car without even asking. I had received a notification in the mail but Jeffrey was able to add it on without me even bringing it up because he was that knowledgeable. Great service from beginning to end. He kept me updated on their progress every step of the way.

I am a car guy. My attention to details is my big. I have found that in most service depts they talk about great service but very rarely ever deliver. I have been using this dealer to service my convertible for a couple of years now and they have yet to ever fail to impress me with their attention to detail and professionalism. After having shopped around for cars in the area for days, I was relieved to have an easy and relatively seamless experience here. Everyone I encountered was cordial, respectful, and competent, which was the opposite of my experience at another area dealership. These folks seem to be running a tight ship, and I can tell they value customers. I was made to feel at ease, as not only the salesman, but also the general manager and finance manager worked together to make this as painless as possible. The uncomfortable tension of aggressive sales tactics was absent here. Oh, and I really like the car they sold me.

Would give this dealership 0 if possible.Went for a routine service of my new mazda 3. After the service i recieved cars with scratches all over it . When complained the finance guy denied that they did it while servicing it . The lady who took my car in for servicing initially stated that the car was fine when i handed over. later she said "she is not sure if she noticed any scratches" .. bunch of scamsters. great car pathetic service .. stay away(if you dont believe me read around. there are many more cases like mine seems this like more like norm than oddity for these guys.. i gnored the signs and went there and duly paid for my mistakes ..

I traded in my Mazda 3 and got my new CX5, 2016. Danny walked me through their inventory and took me for a test drive of the vehicle. I spoke to Danny over the phone about a Certified Pre-Owned CX-5. He asked enough questions to understand what I was looking for and walked me through his current inventory. He was very open about the pricing policy and what I could expect in dealer fees. I drove an hour to the store, test drove the car we discussed, purchased the car and drove it home 2 hours later. Fair price on a used car (I checked KBB and Edmunds prior to visiting the dealership) and no extraneous "dealer" fees on the backend. No negotiation required! Great Experience, Great Service.

John and Jeffrey in Service respected the warranty for unusual brake wear at 25k miles and followed the related service bulletin. They respected my warranty and charged me $0. This is a big deal because smother Mazda dealer in the area tried to sell me new brakes and rotors for $600 and never told me there was a service bulletin. They also exaggerated the amount of time I had left on the brakes.

In the past an hour oil change and inspection would take 5 hours and the service staff would act like thats the way it always is. But this time Jeffrey Urbina expedited my car and i was in and out pretty quick! Last time my inspection sticker was put on a weird angle and it drove me crazy. This time the guy put it on correctly with out me asking. all the staff would say hello when passing by verses acting like they were so busy in the past. Even the service department staff person Liz (think that was her name, about 5'5" or under with glasses) was very pleasant and also assisted me over the phone when i had a tire light issue after i left. Jeffrey and Liz are a big win for this mazda team

What started off as a mildly annoying interaction ended as a deeply annoying, incompetent display of ineptitude. Here's the short version:Test drive - tried to make me speed in residential areas and slam on the breaks to experience the wonders of Mazda performance. Failed to grasp I am a 40 year old woman who doesn't take neighborhood curves at 45 MPH and not a 15 year old boy. Communication - I informed sales man that I wanted to drive off lot in car that day and how much I was willing to put down. Did not tell me that would be impossible because they needed a bank check until I had been there for hours and signed all the paperwork. Deal making - promised (in writing) to include all weather mats for the whole car. When I picked it up, they were not included. After taking time to get them, just threw cardboard box in back and didn't include cargo mat. Registration transfer - over three weeks left me emails and VMs that they needed a different registration for me car because mine was expired (it wasn't) but when I repainted back to these emails and VMs asking for more info and explaining they had the correct registration, they would not respond to my message and just respond again days later with the original message they sent. It was like being in a Kafka novel. They must have been lying, because gaffer I left multiple VMs for a manager, Frank Benedict, who never called me back, the registration was processed three weeks after buying the car. Summary: much like a call center employee, my sales rep never actually responded to my questions or needs and instead marched forward with his own sales pitch mindlessly and thoughtlessly. This would have only been annoying and frustrating if it hadn't resulted in three weeks of me having invalids plates due to the lack of registration processing. Unacceptable. Go anywhere else.

These clowns are borderline criminals. They sell you a car but fail to tell you a few things like the fact that most smartphones are NOT compatible with Mazda's Bluetooth and this includes ALL APPLE iPHONES. Or the fact that the so-called HD Bose stereo cannot and will not play FM radio stations clearly regardless of the station's signal strength. Or the fact that the SkyActiv technology causes the RPMs to INCREASE instead of decreasing when braking - this causes the car to either continue at it's prior speed or actually go faster for a few seconds after you take your foot off the gas.. Or the fact that the blind spot indicators go off randomly. When you bring the vehicle to their "technicians", their response is "that's how the car is designed so it's operating as designed". If you call the manager of the dealership, he'll tell you to contact Mazda (in essence, get lost).The "service" department "technicians" are more interested in confronting you over your honest answers to their survey instead of actually correcting the issues you raise. They clearly have no interest in giving straight answers.This place is the best example of slimy, used-car salesmen ever. They will say and do anything to get your money and then ignore you regardless of warranty or so-called desire to get "brand loyalty" from you. Stay away from these lowlifes and avoid the Mazda brand. You're better off with a Volkswagen.

I worked with Chris to buy a new car. He truly new everything about every car on the lot. He was honest in his way of narrowing down the best car for my needs. I didn't feel pressured like I have at other dealerships. Everyone at the dealership was working to provide the best price possible and it felt like they were looking out for my best interests. After the sale was closed, Chris spent a good hour showing me how to use all of the features on the car.

This is our second time to buy a car from this dealership and the second time was as positive as the first. This time, we were trading in a car for a bigger model and Danny McCormick gave us great service from the moment we walked in. He went to great trouble to show us the different models they had in stock and responding to all our questions. He also got us a good deal for the trade-in. Danny also made sure that a few marks on the cars paintwork were dealt with so when we arrived to collect the car it was looking great. All the financing, insurance and transfer of registration was handled very smoothly by John. Very good service all round.

I called the dealer checking availability of an advertised used Mini Cooper. Danny McCormick picked up the phone and the rest was just smooth sailing or should I say driding. Upon arriving to scheduled appointment the car was ready for a test drive. Danny took my husband and I to enjoy the best test drive ever. By the end, I knew this was the car I want to buy. Danny was not pushy or tried to deter me from my choice nor did he pushed me to have the deal financed, as other car dealers do. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. Have dealt with Chris in the past, have referred numerous people to him and when it was time for my daughter to get her first car we went back to him and got a Mazda 3. We did look at the Corolla and Civic but Chris did his job and told me a few things about the Mazda 3 I was not aware of .... went home, researched and the deal was done. Called him in the morning and Chris was able to deliver the car the same day, on a Saturday no less. As a rule I hate buying a new car but not with Chris.

I was in no hurry but even though they were busy my car was done in less then an hour from when I dropped it off. They are great. (Salesman are pushy so do not go into the salesroom while you wait)

The preowned CX5 that we looked at didn't have the same options and warranty as advertised on their website however once this was brought to their attention the dealer did make good by adding the missing option, Navigation and providing a Certified Preowned Warranty. Overall our experience was positive one.

I went into the showroom expected the customary car salesman pitch and instead, I received a quote that was more than fair from the start. No haggling. I told them what I wanted and they delivered at my convenience. In a world where customer service is everything, it's amazing that some businesses still do not understand this. However, this is not the case for Danny McCormick, and team, over at Palisades Mazda. In Fact, we had been to multiple dealerships in the past few days, and we didn't realize how much the other dealerships' customer service were lacking until we stepped foot into this one... The staff were friendly: we were greeted with a smile when we walked in, from a friendly receptionist, who offered us coffee. Simple, but it went a long way. The salesman were knowledgeable and helpful: We had a particular car in mind, and from the moment we were seated with Danny to review the details, our experience just got better. After some shop talk, and friendly conversation, he took us on a REAL test drive... not just around the block, but a drive to really get a feel for the car. During the test drive, he was educating us on facts about the car- technical details, safety features, add ons, etc... By the time we came back, we really had a feel for the car, both inside and out. This really helped with our decision. Financing was easy: After filling out the necessary paperwork, John, in financing, a very knowledgeable, and friendly man, helped us to get a great rate on our loan, and Danny helped us to get a good trade in value for our previous car. All in all, the team helped us from start to finish, and we walked out of the dealership with a great car, and MORE IMPORTANTLY, a great feeling about our car.I can't speak enough to the quality of the personnel. I decided to buy a new car and went on line to TruCar, and the first person to contact me was CHRIS KINDER. and he was the first person to answer my question...no sales gimmick..just straight to the point, which is what you want. Then all the other dealerships started to call, but we did not get the same vibe from them as we did with CHRIS KINDER. CHRIS KINDER was very patient with all our questions and never did he try to sell us something more expensive. We knew what we wanted and that's what we stayed with. CHRIS KINDER is truly a wonderful person and that's the type of person you need when you are making a big decision such as this. Thank you, again, Chris. You are truly a gentleman!

I just bought my second Mazda CX9 from Palisades Mazda and it was an easy experience, just like before. Danny helped me decide what I needed and what I didn't need, which is always rare in any sales experience. Never pushy or salesy and I didn't even bother going to other dealerships since I'd already been through that pain and didn't need it again!

Shopped many dealerships and by far this is one of the best experience's I have ever had.Chris the Internet Manager and Frank the General Manager went out of there way to be sure I was 111 % Satisfied.I received more than a conpepetive price, they found the exact color combination and equipment that I required and fit it right into my budget. At time of delivery I met John the Business Manager and he explained all the paper work and offered me some great protection packages from his Menu. None of the staff were pushy in any way and I will recommend them to all my friends and family if they are in the market for a New Car. I was looking for an affordable SUV, a and i end up at Palisades Mazda because their prices are very competitive, and this people definitely work with you, not like the regular sales guys that come with a bunch of histories, this guys are very professional and honest, they don't try to cut corners or make money out of you; no hidden fees at all what you see is what you pay.I end up buying a Mazda CX7 2011 cpo, very low mileage clean carfax and good maintenance record i carried the extended warranty plus 1 year/12000 miles bumper to bumper warranty, low APR and good monthly payments.Im very pleased with my experience at this place i highly recommended. I came here to buy a new car. I knew what I wanted -- the 2016 Miata -- and did not need financing. Although there was no movement on negotiating a lower price, the price was as stated in Consumer Reports, except for a charge for the color I wanted which was not one available on the Consumer Reports search engine. Everyone was lovely; they took care of the registration paperwork and delivered the car to me in Manhattan the next day for no charge. After I took the employee who had driven the car to me the twenty miles back to West Nyack , figuring he could give me some tips on the car which I was eager to get on the road anyway, the manager came out to thank me and sent someone out to top off the tank. Then salesman Dimitri Pappas set up the Bluetooth for me and gave me a half hour of electronics tutoring. He followed it up with a note saying that if I wanted more, to stop by the showroom. In the last year I had encountered car salesman who did a bit and switch or tried to hustle me into test driving models I was not interested in. My impression of Dimitri and the manager were decent men who were aware of the sleaze rep some car salesman have and were determined to make buying a car a pleasant experience.-- Joyce W.

I was leaving on a family wedding this past Friday 7/24/15 and got a flat tire. I used the Mazda Road Assistance which came in a timely fashion. While waiting I remembered I had purchased the tire wheel warranty at Mazda Palisades so I made a call letting them know my situation. They ordered the tire and had it ready when I dropped the car off after the flat was repaired. (In the afternoon) I mentioned I was going to a wedding and will only be able to pick it up tomorrow. So why my 5 star review. They had the car ready around 5pm that same day and called me right before the wedding started to tell me it was ready for pickup. I appreciate the effort especially during a peak day.

I had problems at two other Mazda dealers, one where I purchased my used 2010 Mazda3 (Garden City Mazda) and the other where I had service performed (Ramsey Mazda), where they misdiagnosed a hydraulic motor mount leak for a power steering leak. Service staff, particularly Sam at Palisades Mazda could not have been nicer and more pleasant to work with! They confirmed the real problem, and fixed it in no time, saving me hundreds of dollars in money which would have gone down the drain. It's a bit of a drive for me, but I will most certainly go back to Palisades for future car repairs!

I just bought a used 2013 Subaru Crosstrek from Chris Kinder (Internet manager). I noticed this car on a Cars.com advertisement, e-mailed Chris and saw the vehicle the next day. I arrived at dealer and was immediately taken for a test drive and then bought car. Car was immaculate and Chris was a cool guy..... No high pressure sales tactics and he is straightforward and kind! He made everything simple and easy to understand, especially to myself who really does not know much about cars. He answered any questions we had and was extremely helpful through the whole process. Dealing with car purchases and leases can get lengthy and over whelming at times, but with Danny everything was so effortless and went by as smoothly as possible. We trusted that he would get us the best deal and option as possible, and we felt extremely comfortable in that we would do just that for us. we were cross shopping 5 door hatchbacks. looked at ford, kia, vw and mazda. Chris Kinder was not the typical car salesman. very open, honest and helpfull. he took the time to demo the car on new years eve, explain pricing options and get paperwork started, even though it meant leaving later than planned. when we returned to sign the final papers and pick up the car we did get some BS upsell for paint insurance and other junk, witch was expected, but did sour the deal a bit. overall we feel that we got a good deal, and were very happy with chris.

I was in the market for CX9 and was debating between 3 mazda dealerships in acquiring a CX9. I had many interactions with the two other dealerships before visiting Palisades Mazda. First thing, I told them the specifc model I was looking for color,etc. James looked for the vehicle and had it moved up for a test drive at 545pm right after I came back from work. It was not we cant find the car you were looking for etc, type of game. Test drive was great.I mentioned my pricing between the other locations and mentioned his current price was competitve and I also wanted to go through my credit union for financing. Not only did he beat the price. His GM was able to offer me a higher trade in value on my vehicle that I had recevied from the other two dealers. They set me with up with an invoice showing the car value, minus my trade into present to my credit union to obtain financing. Whats the big deal? They did this in basically under two hours which if you brought a car before is unheard of and why i am giving them a 5 star rating.I bought 3 cars prior to this(different brands) and this was the smoothest transaction. I would not only recommend this location but will look forward to doing business with them again

They all told me that she would be unable to get a loan unless she had a co-signer. I went into Mazda thinking she would be turned down again but instead my sister walked out that day, with a beautiful, 2010 Mazda 3. The price was great, the car was very impressive. The salesman I dealt with was Danny McCormick. After speaking with him for about 15 minutes, I knew he could make it work. Wow!!! Was very impressed by him. Chris Kinder, our salesman, was pleasant and knowledgable and never pushy. He went out of his way to find a swap so we could get exactly the model we wanted and the best price. And before we left the lot, he spent about an hour teaching us how to use our new "toy"! And John, the business manager, found us a low rate loan, saving us even more money. Overpriced and left feeling taken advantage of. You know when you go into one of those places and you just get the feeling you're gonna get nickel and dimed? That's what this place feels like. Three months ago when I came in for service my battery was rated at 100%. Now it's at 40. I also all of a sudden needed a new air filter and cabin filter and brake pads and tires and and and....Didn't come out feeling like I had been treated like a respected customer. I really felt like I had been taken advantage of. I'm going to look for someplace else.

I went to Palisades Mazda after looking and test driving two other SUVs at Kia and Toyota. My last car was also purchased at Palisades Mazda. My first experience was good but this time I was treated with a friendly and even more competent sales person. Chris Kinder is not your typical car salesman. He answers any questions and is very polite. He didn,t hesitate to make small talk during the sales operation to make us feel comfortable as we completed the deal. I would recommend Chris and the rest of the Palisades staff I met. They all acted professional and made the purchase of my MazdaCX5 as simple and enjoyable as it should be. No pressure, fair trade in and new car price. I recommend Palisades Mazda and when I decide to purchase another car I would purchase from them again.

I went to Palisades Mazda when I was still deciding between the Mazda CX-5 and a few competitors. I took a long test drive, with plenty of twisty roads and time on the highway, with Chris answering any questions I came up with. They had the car I was looking for in stock, pricing through Truecar, and once I made the decision on the CX-5 the buying process itself was painless and fast- I called in late on a Friday afternoon to say I wanted the car, and I drove away with it 24 hours later, even though they were busy that day. No wheeling and dealing, no pressure to buy. If I had to buy another car I'd recommend them.

Was rushed to pick up the car to satisfy salesman's month-end quota, but the car was not "complete" when picked up. Missing part arrived hours later, necessitating a whole new trip to the dealer, an hour and a half wait for installation, and many phone calls, none of which the sales manager had the courtesy to return. Incredibly rude, and poor customer relations. Had the salesman not been so concerned with his own month-end, the car could have been picked up as ordered the following day without customer inconvenience.

Our experience with Palisades Mazda was an excellent one from start to finish. Salesperson Andy was both competent and friendly, and we were able to sign a purchase agreement for a used car within two hours. On the morning of the day we were to pick up our car, Andy called to say that the detailers had found a major problem with the car we were purchasing and offered us a choice between two higher-priced vehicles for the amount we had agreed to pay. We were thoroughly impressed with the dealership's honesty and integrity, and are now the satisfied owners of a very fine automobile.

I was very, very particular about the car I wanted, was dedicated to haggling on the price, was difficult to get a hold of, and basically dragged my feet the whole process. The dealership and particularly the salesperson Erik Slotnick wereconsistently patient and helpful. Erik was available to me both via email and phone. He answered all my questions thoroughly and worked closely with me to get the exact car I wanted. After I purchased the car, he spent a good deal of time with me going through all the technological advances, making sure I knew how to operate all aspects of the car. It was by far my best car-buying experience and I wholeheartedly recommend Palisades Mazda. I will be sure to buy my next Mazda from Mr. Slotnick

My experience with Chris Kinder has been stellar. In 2011 and 2014 I worked with Chris in getting a Mazda 3. He is very friendly, well-mannered, very knowledgable and most importantly, trustworthy. His customer service is excellent, being very attentive. He returns emails and phone calls in a very timely manner. Aside from the new Mazda 3 being a great car, one of the reasons for returning to this dealership was Chris. This is the 2nd time he has assisted me, and I have not been disappointed, and believe me, I'm a very hard marker when it comes to customer service!I also dealt with John Nahass, who went over and handled the paperwork end of the deal. I found him to be very personable, easy to work with, thorough and helpful in answering any other questions I had.Overall, my experience with Palisades Mazda has been excellent!

Everything about getting my schedule car in for service went went well, it wasn't till after the problems occurred. The work to be done was an oil service, inspection, and new tires. I had to do a late pickup so I told them to mail by receipt and charge my card. They charged me card but I never got a receipt and I also was missing tire valve stem covers (the inspection was also never done). I placed many calls/emails to the service department (manager also) but never got any help regarding this. It is really quite shocking that they won't give me a receipt for my visit and also replace the valve stem covers that they took off and never put back on. Its been over two months with no call back. I would avoid this place if possible.

I highly recommend the services of Chris Kinder of West Nyack's Palisades Mazda/Volvo. Here's a brief synopsis of what occurred in a span of a week:I was in the market for a 3rd generation Lincoln Navigator with a very specific set up (deal breaker: it had to have a black interior). In addition, I was trading in my vehicle ('07 Audi A4). After many unsuccessful hours of searching on the internet and visiting multiple dealerships, I thought I had found my vehicle and reached out to Palisades Mazda inquiring about it. Chris replied stating the vehicle was available and if I would like to schedule a test-drive.I initially met with Chris on a Saturday 6/7 for the test drive. I was satisfied with the vehicle, both aesthetically and mechanically (only critical items needed were tires). My trade-in was reviewed and appraised, however, due to a glitch in the system, the appraisal could not be processed at that time. Since I live about 40 miles away, I would only be available on weekends if a deal was reached. Chris was conscious of that and didn't want me to wait for an unknown time, so I headed off, knowing I'd receive an e-mail by Monday, with the appraisal figure.The appraisal was e-mailed to me a few hours after I left the dealership. I immediately replied with a fair counteroffer which was naturally rebuffed to a middle ground where both parties were satisfied at the end. By Monday 6/9, I was confident enough, financially speaking, that I would be purchasing this vehicle (contingent upon a pre-purchase inspection, which was agreed by Chris). I gave a deposit to hold vehicle until the inspection took place. In order to speed up the process, Chris sent a Purchase Agreement and requested my insurance card, current vehicle registration, and title.The pre-purchase inspection took place on Thursday 6/12, and by Friday 6/13, I had a full report stating the vehicle was indeed in good condition. I pulled the trigger confirmed that I would be purchasing the vehicle.This past Saturday morning 6/14, I drove my trade-in for the last time and picked up my awesome Navigator! Since the tedious paperwork was taken care of, I was in and out of there in about 30 minutes!Throughout the whole experience, Chris was by far, the most professional and courteous salesman I have ever come across. Being pushy/aggressive is the typical M.O. of car salesman, but not for Chris. He was patient and attentive, and because of that, he has my business for years to come. While I plan on keeping this vehicle for a long time, I have a lot of relatives who would appreciate his forthcomingness and integrity.

If youre looking for a dealership with integrity, stay away from Palisades Mazda. I tried to buy a car from them, and found them to be dishonest and the experience distasteful. Let me explain. I was looking for a used Mazda CX-9, had visited this dealership previously, and was contacted by the salesman who said he had just taken in a car that was perfect for us. My wife and I returned for a test drive and the car was exactly what we were looking for. He quoted a price that worked for us, and we wanted to move forward. Two days later, he informed us that the car we wanted was driven the day before, was in an accident and seriously damaged, and was now no longer available. Two days later, he presented us with information on a sister car with similar specs, but at a price $1800 higher. The car was not similar, it was the same car. When we reached back to the General Manager, and to the dealerships owner, The Premier Collection, we received a phone call confirming what we already knew that the salesperson had lied, that this was the same car, but that the price was now higher. I dont know if they thought they could get more money from us or others, but this was insulting and disturbing. The General Manager said he was sincerely sorry that we were lied to, but that he would not honor the price we were previously quoted, quoted multiple times. He offered to knock another $500 off the new price because he felt bad about what happened, but would not honor any other price. I dont know if Ive ever received a less sincere apology. After what transpired, I candidly expected the General Manager to at the very least honor the offer made to us. Instead, he explained that the original offer to us was his cost. It seemed he had no problem looking beyond the dealerships blatant dishonesty, as long as the profit was maybe not the full $1800, but no less than $1300. I truly did not expect this apology conversation to simply be a guise for a price negotiation. I guess its hard to put a price on sincerity and respect for ones customers. I guess deceptive tactics are simply part and parcel of the negotiation process at Palisades Mazda. The irony is the websites of both Palisades Mazda, and their parent company The Premier Collection, spell out their 4 guiding principles, 2 of which are integrity and respect for the individual. Maybe someone in marketing should show the website to management. My wife and I have moved on and are purchasing a car from an unrelated dealership. We think its important to establish a relationship with a dealer you can trust, especially if you plan to return for service and more. I cant speak to the other dealerships owned by The Premier Collection, and whether they conduct business in a similar deceitful manner. What I can say is if youre looking to purchase a car from Palisades Mazda, at least go in with open eyes and know what youre dealing with.

I came to Palisades Mazda with a promise of a great car with a great price.I met Chris with my daughter looking for a mazda 3 touring with moon roof package. Not only did he find one but one with the right color she wanted.This was not a small task, as the color combo was rare.Chris took hours of time, and wheeling and dealing to secure and make this happen.This was a gift to her a secret that Chris and I kept till we picked it up a couple of days later.All I can say is WOW when she saw it ,a true family moment one that Chris made happen .Thanks Palisades Mazda and a BIG thanks to Chris Kinder

This place is just ridiculous. Service mamager doesn't know what he's doing. The other employee, Robin said the car will be fixed under warranty. Later they call me that they can't fix the car with the warranty. And it has been a month since my car got sent to the service shop. I STILL HAVENT GOT MY CAR BACK. everytime I call them if my car is ready to get picked up, they said yesterday everytime I called them. They just don't know what they're doing. Just plain dumb.

Palisades Mazda had my vehicle for 3 full days plus a couple hours of another day for what was supposed to be a 2 hour job. They were totally unprofessional, unorganized and incompetent . When I eventually got the car back, the same issue remained and additional issues surfaced. I am bringing the car to another dealer to fix the original issue and for the new issue they caused.

I went in for a recall, and asked them (while the car was there)to look at the fact that the temperature stopped appearing a long time ago on the dashboard , (brought it in for something over a year ago, and the mechanic said he was dumbfounded, and he'd check it out and get back to me) Got a loaner car, on a monday. Monday eve, Robin called to say that the car was ready, and they NEEDED the loaner car back ASAP....(they open at 7;30 am), i got there at 9:15...she said they needed to check it out and it would take 5 minutes....then, 40 minutes later she told me to keep the loaner car, because the repair they did , didnt work! I also complained that this should be COVERED, since when I initially brought it in, it WAS under warrantee....but they said it was not covered and it would cost about $200. 3 days passed with NO communication,.,,I called friday morning at 9:30. Driving around in a loaner car, Volvo 2008, with a big scrape on the front fender, (with the sunvisor GONE in front of the driver seat and a Baby bottle in the back seat!!!)....Robin said the car would be ready at 11. I asked if she was planning on CALLING me to let me know. her answer was that she didn't have the paperwork in front of her!! BUT SHE KNEW WHEN I CALLED IT WOULD BE READY AT 11?? She was so nasty and rude.Should noT be working in customer service for sure.When i returned to get the car, I spoke with the manager and he explained that it was a WAY bigger problem than they had anticipated, had to CALL MAZDA many times and it was a wiring problem...and that they weren't going to chage me for all the hours,,and for giving me a loaner car...so it still cost me over $200...to get the temperature re appear on the dashboard TOTALLY horroble experience ! I would NEVER recommend them to anyone !

I spoke with Chris over email first and he was very responsive and helpful. When I went into the dealership, everyone there was very welcoming and professional. The dealership was kept clean, the space was bright and uncluttered. No one pressured us, which I really appreciated. Chris was very fair with the price and never tried to up sale me or convince me of anything. When we bought our new car, Chris spent a good amount of time showing us everything in the car and was very thorough. I highly recommend Chris Kinder and Palisades Mazda in general!

I needed to replace the headlight in my 2010 Mazda. I had just purchased it 3 months ago as a certified, pre-owned vehicle. I went to Auto Zone to buy the headlight but the employee there was unable to put it in. I then called Palisades Mazda and asked how much it would be to put the headlight in my car. I told Robin Lobel, the service adviser, that I had a 2010 Mazda 6 itouring. She said it would be $10.00 plus the price of the bulb, which was about $30. I said fine and made an appointment.I got there at 12:00 on Saturday. I sat down to wait and after about half an hour Robin came out and told me that she had misquoted me on the price. It turns out, she said, that the entire front end of my car would have to be removed in order to replace the bulb (who makes a car like that anyway? And how could it be that no one, including the mechanics, knew this until they actually started working on my car?) She went on to say that, since they had quoted me a price of $40, they had no choice but to honor that price. She seemed very unhappy about it. I asked how much I would be charged the next time one of my headlights went out, and she replied that it would be a per hour charge, however long it took to change it. I asked the hourly rate and was told $116 an hour, plus tax. Well, it took them 2 hours to change that bulb. So they intend to charge me $232 next time, plus $30 for the bulb, for a total of $262. I wonder how Mazda corporate would feel about that--I think I should let them know. When I told my husband about this he said it was outrageous, that there was a set fee for that type of service and $262 to change a headlight is a crime. I agree.Anyway, after 2 hours Robin came out and said my car was ready, did I want to have it washed free of charge, and I said sure. After 20 minutes she came out again and said there was a problem with my car. At this point a guy came out (he turned out to be the service manager, though he never introduced himself) and took me out to my car. He showed me a large bubble on my tire and said it was dangerous to drive the car like that, the tire would have to be replaced. He then went on to say since it was impossible to tell if the bubble occurred when I was driving or on their lot, that he would replace the tire free of charge. He said they would put the spare on my car and that my tire would be there on Monday. This seemed very reasonable to me. The spare ended up being a donut that was half the size of my other tires. I was concerned about driving around on it until Monday, but he assured me it was perfectly safe.When I got home I looked at the back of my bill. They had done an inspection of my car, including the tires, and had indicated that all four tires were in good shape, with no damage. So evidently my tires were just fine when I drove in there, the damage occurred when they were working on it, and the service manager pretended it most likely happened when I hit a pothole, before I got there. I had caught him in an out-and-lie. Something else to bring up with Mazda corporate, I suppose.I called Palisades Mazda on Monday to see if my tire was ready and got Robin Lobel on the phone. She informed me that my tires were no longer being manufactured and they would not be able to get me a tire until at least Thursday. So now I would have to ride around on a donut for another three days, probably damaging my other three tires in the process. She then went on to say since the tire was discontinued, it was going to cost them a lot of money to buy one ( is there some reason I should care about this? They had damaged my tire in the first place). She could not have been more snippy if she tried; I ended up hanging up on her.I did end up getting my tire on Thursday, but, my God! Could anything else have gone wrong in that place? I hate to think about them working on a major component, like an engine. At no point did they seem like they knew what they were doing and they could not have been more disorganized. And there was no excuse for how rude that woman was. I would try to avoid going back there at all costs, but they're the only Mazda dealer in Rockland.

I'll start by saing that I consider my self a "smart customer". Before I do or buy anything I do extended research . I knew, that I was shopping for Mazda. After I narrowed down, based on location, I end up with 3 dealership : Wayne, Ramsey and Palisades Mazda. I contacted them all, and the party began. LOL. Wayne, is a largest dealership, which promised me everything under the sun, but I didn't feel any personal attention, except when replied to but internet sales girl, as soon as we start talking numbers, she would transfer me to the manager, when he was just like "yea, come come, we will match the price, do anything, just come". Ramsey was little slicker, they gave me 1000$ below invoice, which sparked my attention . I forgot to mention, that based on my original research , I chose PALISADE MAZDA, but since Ramsey was offering 1000$ less, I decided to explore. I went there early in the morning on Thursday . Place was friendly enough, until we got to negotiation and trade in. But that is an another story. To make it short I ended up giving a deposit and leaving without a car. WHAT A SCAM! Immediately, I contacted my first choice - PALISADE MAZDA- who at this point and stage, my best friend CHRISTOPHER KINDER (since we've been emailing each other for a week now). I felt so comfortable with him, I even asked him If what I was doing was OK with him. He replied, that he understood, and he sees this all the time. Some slick dealership offering unrealistic deal and customers, included me, get sucked to it. After I explain my experience with Ramsey Mazda he comforted me and asked me to come next morning to meet with him and his finance manager, Jay. At this point I was stressed out, but as soon as I got to the PALISADE location everything was different. I didn't feel any pressure anymore. People are simply nice, honest and knowledgeable. They even matched the unrealistic price Ramsey gave me. Since Ramsey ran my credit yesterday, I was worried about my credit score dropping, and it did. But Jay, the finance manager was very confident and efficient.But before I finish my story, I have to give all the credit for my journey and happy ending to my sales person CHRISTOPHER KINDER, if not for his knowledge, experience, easy going personality I would probably have end up with some deal I would regret for the next 60 months. LOL. Thank you Chris! And for you customers, please learn from me - DONT FALL FOR THE UNREALISTIC PROMISES! GO TO PALISADE MAZDA, NO HASTLE, NO LIES AND GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I needed a new car and went to several dealerships in my area looking. Of all the dealerships I went to Palisades Mazda had the best selection of cars in my price range. It was a happy coincidence that the woman who took care of me Dana was also the best car salesperson I spoke to out of all the dealerships. So, I decided to research CX-9. I contacted the dealer over the internet and Customer Care Rep was all over me with e-mails and phone calls trying to schedule an appointment. She did a great job and I showed up on time.The Manager (Frank) greeted me promptly and passed me on to a sales person. This is where the things started going south.1. Test drive - I didn't to drive the car with the trim/drive-train I wanted to test. Plus I was allowed to drive for about 5 minutes. Not a good thing. I do not even know how the car behaves over 4o mph. 2. I asked for the price quote but instead was giving a generic printout with the MSRP.3. The sales person didn't know the dealership's inventory - only interference from Frank helped me look at the exact model I was interested in (not drive it, of course).4 .The sales person said that 2013 models cannot be leased (Mazda USA has cash incentives on its website specifically for 2013).5. I was told that I will get an email with the price quote and my trade in value the next day. it's been 10 days. So, to sum up, not a good experience. I wish others luck.

I have been shopping for a new mazda for 2 weeks mostly on line but was refered to Palisades from a friend that I work with he had dealt with a manager that he worked with while working in the city. I arrived on wed morning around11am aand asked for Mr.Chittum and they advised he was not in today. The receptionist asked me if I can have someone else help I said no problem but wanted to do deal with Mr.Chittum. I waited there for amost 20 minutes with no help at all. I went back up to receptionist and asked if anyone was going to help me. She asked a salespersonto help me but he stated he was busy. At that point I waited another 10 minutes and a just left. I then went to RamseyMazda where I found the car I wanted was helped right away and took delivery 2 hrs later. I guess they do not need the business in Rockland. I reached out to my friend and he asvised me also that Mr.Chittum was no longer there howcome they did not tell me when I arrived. Bad customer service ....Bad Attitudes there Please stay away and spend yourmoney elsewhere.

We received upfront price without any hidden charges or fees. It took him a few days to locate the car and soon after we were on the way home in brand new CX-9. I have been living in Rockland County for 30 years and have purchased more then 15 cars in those years for myslef and my family. I havenever purchased a Mazda untill this month because one of the managers there i know through the county of rockland. I did not even knowthere was a mazda store in the county untill I saw a manager I knew at a board meeting. I made a appointment with him and I came in on a saturday and He was busy with another customer but got to me in a about 5 min. Mr Chittum then sat down with me a treated me like I wasthe only customer in the store. He went over all the options I had went over finance and lease options and got me out of my current leasewith nissan 6 monthe early. He made sure everything went smooth I have since then refered many of the county employees I have and sentout emails to all 1200 of them refering them to Mr.Chittum If you are looking for a new or used car. Mr.Chittum then followed up 3 times in 2 weekd to make sure everything was ok with my car and if there is anything I need to just callhim and even gave me his cell in case there is ever a problem, If anyone is looking to buy a new or used car please go ask for Mr.Chittumhe will take good care of you. I love my new CX9 and would recommend it to everyone ,

I just purchased a certified pre-owned 2011 Mazda CX-9. Dmitry and Jay were great through the process. Very friendly, informative, etc.That said, When I went to pick the car up, I was pretty disappointed with how it was presented. For one, it only came with one key. Certified pre-owned vehicles should come with two keys, plus I purchased a type of insurance that would cover the $450 - $500 cost of replacing a lost smart key. GIven that, I expected to have two keys ready when I picked up the vehicle which was not the case. A second key needed to be ordered and the car needs to go back to the dealership in a couple days so the second key can be programmed. I was told the car would also be detailed when I picked it up. While it was clean, it was not detailed. There was visible dirt on the outside of the car, as well as on the inside. Upon opening the glove compartment I noticed it was filled with things from the previous owner and there was no manual. Nice car, nice people. The way it was presented though was unacceptable.The manager is going to pick it up in a couple days (I live about 30-45 minutes from the dealership), provide me with a loaner and take it back so it can be properly detailed, a second key can be made, etc.They are trying to make things right which I do appreciate. We'll see how it goes.

I had a very bad experience with Ramsey Mazda in the past, but I love the cars so I searched out Palisade Mazda for service and they were terrific.When it came time for a new lease, there was no question that I would deal with Palisade Mazda. I leased a new Mazda 3 Sport from Demitri Pappas with Palisades Mazda. I could not have had a better experience. Demitri was knowledgeable (even had a background as an auto mechanic), honest and made it a point to earn my business with integrity and patience, instead of pushing me or harassing me, as I've experienced in my dealings with other dealerships. I greatly appreciated his no-nonsense approach and his great respect for my time, telling me how long things would take and proving his word to be worth something. In fact, it only took me an hour to sign the paperwork and pick up the car on the day and time agreed upon. He and the Business Manager, Jay Murali, made me feel as though I was the only person in the place.The dealership in general was also a pleasure. The receptionist, Lisa, went out of her way to help me with getting information I needed for the insurance company, despite the fact that I needed the information ASAP on Jay's and Demitri's day off. I look forward to further dealings with this dealership in the future, and I would highly recommend giving them your business.

This was the best car-buying experience I've had. The entire transaction was completed in less than 48 hours, which, to my mind, is unheard of. I felt like the sales rep really looked for the best deal for my family and me, and I wasn't pressured at all to sign off on something that I didn't feel 100% comfortable with. He was patient as we went through all the possible options. When we figured out the route I wanted to go (trading in my old Mazda and leasing a new one), I felt confident that everything was being done to respect the fact that I wanted my payments to be as low as possible.

Paul Biagas is an excellent auto salesperson. He is knowledgeable, thoughtful and is meaningful in his approach. I had researched the Mazda 3 Hatchback manual shift before coming to Palisades Mazda and was delighted in Paul's integrity.I also enjoyed the initial meeting with many of the other office/parts/service/mechanics at Palisades Mazda and can recommend them highly.

Mike Hahn made our first leasing experience very stress free and was always concerned we were comfortable we knew what we needed to know about the vehicle and the details of the deal. The name of the Finance person I met with escapes me, but he was extremely efficient, complete and accomodating as well.

When making an appointment, found representative helpful and courteous. Upon appearing at scheduled appointment, greeted and acknowledged by the receptionist. Sal, the Mazda representative in the service department, will help and advise on service needs. He has always gone above and beyond each time I have come or called. He is definitely a credit to the dealership and the Mazda company as well.

I just purchased a 2013 Mazda CX5 Grand Touring model at Palisades. Calvin was a wonderful salesman, he beat the prices I had received from other dealerships. He was honest and fair. I felt that he really cared and tried to make the best deal for me. The costs I was told over the phone were the same. Chris in Finance took his time to go over the paperwork and there was no pressure for any additional items. I am very happy.

Service was great and efficient. Although I agreed to have my air and cabin filters changed, I was surprised about the pricing. $109 is quite a lot to spend, especially when these parts run for about $20 or less. However, it was convenient for me to just have the service done there, as opposed to waiting around for my father to change it for me, especially in the weather we have been having.Chris Kinder sold me my Mazda 3, and it was a pleasure to say hello to him as well. The staff at Mazda Palisades is always courteous and extremely friendly!

I feel I could go elswhere for better service. There was much miscommunication in regards to when parts would be coming in. I was constantly going back and forth across the bridge to be disappointed yet again. Although, they tried somewhat to make it right, it was too late in my opinion. I thought their customer service was okay for how patient we were.

I originally purchased my Mazda in Stamford, CT at Riley Mazda and was very dissatisfied with everything about them. I began asking around for recommendations on other dealerships and was advised to go to Pallisades Mazda by a friend. I have never been so pleased with the level of service I received. They took the time to listen and help diagnose potential problems with my car and were very efficient in conducting the work and sending me on my way knowing I had been taken care of and am a happy customer. I will continue to go there as long as I have my Mazda.

Sales:Chris does respond to emails. No he doesn't spam you with "we don't have Mazda 3 you are asking, but check out our Mazda 6" or "we have a great deal specifically for you - please come to our location for a drive" like 8/10 dealerships where I've sent a specific question. He actually does answer the specific question and doesn't bother you with gazillion of f/u emails which force you to black-list him. Very professional. Price is just (check the edmunds for it). It was a real pleasure working with him.Service:that is more tough. I didn't have a problem yet (my Mazda is 6 months old) so I can't really say "oh, they are so cool, they've changed the oil" - I mean I guess the car shouldn't fall apart in any place after 1 oil change. But they are polite, quick, give you a fare time estimate and accommodating. Area is clean, they have a free wi-fi.

Not only was the sales experience great when I purchased my Mazda CX7 from Demitri Pappas at Palisades Mazda in July of 2011, but their Service Department is AWESOME! Trying to find time to bring my car in for routine maintenance is always difficult for me. Every time I do find the time, Jason and Sal always accommodate my schedule for servicing my vehicle. Jason goes out of his way to make sure I understand what services I need and explains what has been done afterwards.I have had nothing but positive experiences, and would recommend them to anyone. They are consistently friendly, professional, efficient and helpful.

I ended up buying a mazda3 elsewhere but I feel I should leave a few comments about Palisade Mazda. This is a smaller volume dealer and there aren't that many personel, but every one of the people I have met were nice. I would recommend Chris Kinder without a second thought but he is now working as a finance manager and no longer selling car. Chris was honest, fast and straight forward with his competitive pricing. Thanks to Chris, I am considering going here for service.

You are always greeted with the utmost courtesy and respect when you walk in to the service department or dealership. Jeff in service (who helped me) is always very helpful, communicates well with others and easy to talk to and work with. Tom Dillon the sales manager always goes out of his way to say hello and talk with you even if you are just coming in for service. It's no wonder why I have bought three cars there and keep coming back!

I worked with Chris on buying a new Mazda3. Walked in to the dealership and met him on a Wednesday, discussed some details and pricing over email on thurs/fri, and bought the car on Saturday. Very easy process with no hassle/drama. I checked his price with other dealers in the area and it was comparable.Overall great experience. My second Mazda from this dealership in 3 years.

I webt to purchase a specific car. We talked about it for five days on the phone after I looked at it. We were working out our financing options. I recieved a call stating everything was good to go come down we worked it out. After i drove an hour and a half i get there and they tried to put me in a car i never mentioned or even knew about. While i was there they pawned me off on several people and had me waiting for over an hour. They are not professional and they are liars and decietful. I will never return there for anything. STAY AWAY!!!!!!

Saw a Mazda CX-5 on showroom floor Friday 9/28/12 while I was in the Volvo service department. Liked the car, and returned next day with my wife. Mike the salesmangave us a test drive. However, instead of giving us the selling price of the car we inquired about, Mike asked repeatedly for us to make an offer on the car we test drove, not on the car we were interested in. Also, he would not provide a trade value on the car I wanted to trade. He did speak with someone who I think is called general manager and also a business manager named John. The general manager was kind enough to point out that he was working on two other deals (like I care), even though I had been sitting at Mike's desk for at least 30 minutes. I then spoke with John and Mike outside, at which time John stated he would call me back with a price. As of now, he has not done so. So as of now, no one one at Palisades Mazda has provided me with a selling price for the car I was interested in, the car I rest drove, or any other car they have available for sale! I guess they are waiting for me to make an offer. They can keep waiting. Other complaints - Mazda has incentives that expire 10/1, but not one of these three individuals informed me that offers were available, and that they were expiring. Maybe they are waiting for me to tell them about these. Also, I use Mike, John, and General Manager because not one of these Mazda representatives had the courtesy to give me a business card. My experience last weekend at Palisades Mazda is sad, because I had purchased a 2004 Volvo from Palisades and have used their service department repeatedly over the years. Always with 100% satisfaction.But because of these three, I will not do future business with Palisades Mazda, or any other dealership within the Palisades auto group. Mike, John and General Manager - the offer I made Staurday stands $0.39 (that's 39 cents). As they say - Ask a stupid question ....

Very happy with my new Mazda 3 They give a me great price on the car and were more than fair with me on my trade in My experience with them from the first email til the time I drove off the lot with the car was great. No games. They were friendly, fair and very pleasant and accomodating to deal with. They are extremely professional I live in Orange County but I am very glad I drove down to Rockland to purchase the car. If you are in the market for a Mazda this is the dealer to deal with.

My wife and I went to check out a Mazda 3 hatchback. I've been researching cars for weeks and took a few test drives in different models. I always came back to Mazda because the 3 was fun to drive. So, with the Mazda special going on (no payment for 90 days and 0% financing) we went to Palisades Mazda. Our sales person was Mike. First, it was very hot outside when we went to check out a Mazda 3. Mike drove us to their other lot and they had a model I was interested in. A touring manual shift. It was silver. Mike pulled the car out for us to get ready for a test drive and I was pleasantly surprised when he went through all the features of the car. Mind you , it was hot out and I was just expecting to get in the car and go for a test drive just like the other previous test drive I took in different models.Mike popped the hood and went over the new Skyactive engine and safety crumble zones of the car in case of an accident, and the complete exterior of the car. He didn't have us outside for long when he asked my wife and I to sit in the car with the air conditioning on so we were cool and comfortable. But he stood outside explaining all the features and safety advantages of the interior for several minutes. I felt a bit sorry for him because of the uncomfortable weather. But he took his time and went through everything. He even asked us if we had any questions which we did, and he answered them with precise knowledge about the car. I never experienced this type of customer service from the other dealerships we visited.Then the fun began, we took it for a test drive and loved the car. Mike was one of the friendliest sales people we met. During the test drive, we had a few laughs and talked about sports. We immediately liked him. He wasn't pushy or uncomfortable to be around like the other sales people we experienced. Believe me, that's very important to us. Besides liking the car, the positive attitude and knowledge that Mike had played a big part in our decision making. He was very friendly and very professional. We got a good deal and I purchased the car. I highly recommend Palisades Mazda and Mike!Update: Picked up my Mazda this past Saturday. Mike once again went throughout the car with me. He even connected my phone to the cars bluetooth hand free phone for me. I'm glad I decided on the Mazda 3 and also for purchasing the car from a dealer that is top notch in customer service and that provides a no-pressure buying experience. Also John in finance was polite and professional.

I had purchased a Mazda6 in 2003 and totally enjoyed the car. I had it until an unfortunate accident in 2011. Due to the age of the vehicle and the damage it was considered a total loss by the insurance company. Due to the superior design of the car, I didn't have so much as a seat belt bruise!. I was left with limited finances and purchased a used vehicle. I soon realized that repairing a vehicle, even a good one like a Volvo, is a very expensive proposition. I started to shop for a lease. Then I found Chris Kinder responding to my internet inquiries. He was informative and detailed without being too technical. He took great patience with me, showing me different options. After several emails I was convinced I needed to visit the showroom. I brought my 2011 Mazda3 into palisades mazda after having some problems with the passenger side air bag. I left the car there with Jeff and Jason from the service department for a few days while a representative came to investigate the problem. Once the problem was determined they replaced all parts and service was free. Everyone was extremelly helpful throughout the process and called me with updates. I recommend there service over anyone and plan to do business with them for a long time.

I brought my car in for its 20,000 service, and waited very briefly to be helped. The agent explained what would be done, how much it would cost, and how long it would take up front, then asked if there was anything else. I remembered there was something I wanted them to take a look at. He was friendly and courteous, and when the car was almost ready he gave me an update.The waiting room is equipped with coffee, TV, and comfortable seating, which I used this time. In the past, I've taken advantage of their shuttle to the nearby mall. They'll drive you over there, then pick you up when your car's ready. I have no complaints about Mazda's service or work. Prices could be cheaper, but they're typical for a dealership. Nice people to work with.

This is my second time buying a car from this dealer. My first experience was not the greatest, but I didn't hold it against the entire dealership. You can actually read my response from 4/16/10 to see the difference from then until now.I actually found the right person in Chris Kinder to sell me the car (CX-5)that I wanted. It just happened by chance because one of the other salespeople did not get back to me on numerous occasions. I had given another salesperson my contact information which consisted of my cell number, my email, my work number, and work email. Each time that person said they would email me details about the CX-5, when the car color I wanted would come in, but never heard anything!!!And then I met Chris Kinder. I just happened to go in because I had questions about some letter they had sent me about a sale. He said he would help me until the other salesperson was available. I told him that he could sell me the car if he got what I was looking for. I gave him my email, he responded to me the next day. He actually kept emailing me, not in a harassing way, about updates with the car that I was looking for. He kept in contact more in a few weeks than the salesperson I was originally going to see and who I bought my last car from.Chris was a pleasure to deal with. He made sure everything was as smooth as it could go. He didn't pressure me into anything I didn't want. He just listened to what I wanted and worked hard to get it for me. I wish every buying experience was as easy and simple as Chris made it. His work ethic earned him a commission that the other salesperson lost. Good for Chris!!

I love my new Mazda 3 Hatch, just turned 1,000 miles. I went to two NJ dealers before finding Palisades Mazda. Demitri is easy to talk to and puts you at ease right away, just a nice guy to work with. He cared about finding the car I was looking for and managed to find it. Chris helped us with the financing end and again was someone we enjoyed working with. Every time I went there, they were both very helpful. I would highly recommend this dealership, Demitri and Chris.

The process of bringing my car in and later picking it up was very fast and hassle-free, thanks to the efficient nature of the staff. Everyone I dealt with was extremely personable and conversational; I did not simply feel like a customer. When I went to pick my car up, the nature of the repair was explained to me, as was the price. Overall it was a very pleasant experience!

My experience at palisades Mazda has always been great in fact I drive from Middletown NY just to have my car serviced here. After having bad experiences with compass motors in Middletown I tried palisades Mazda and I have been dealing with Jeff Uhl since. He is very friendly, knowledgeable, honest and helpful which I can't say the same for most dealers. The whole staff is friendly as well!!

I'm an internet shopper, so when it came to buying a car I hit the WWW. Most dealerships I contacted through email would not give me straight answers to my questions; all wanted to talk to me on the phone, and most wanted to get me into the dealership. Then I found Palisads Mazda. They accommodated my way of doing things; I got all my answers immediately and got a great deal within hours of contacting them. He follows through, he is responsive and very capable. This is the second car I have leased through this dealer. They are attentive and very nice people to work with. Chris is just one of the reasons why I would not hesitate to lease or buy from this dealer5 again.

The experience was almost painless. Chris was very patient as when I went in to the dealership, I was not sure which model of Mazda 3 I wanted, if I would buy or lease as well as with which transmission the car should have. We test drove a few cars. The fair pricing and the 0% financing for 60 months helped make the decision to buy.

My 87 year old mother leased a mazda 3 for 42 months in 2010. This past November, she broke her hip and is unable to drive.I tried to reach Scott,her sales representative, by phone(4 times with messages and phone numbers where I could be reached). I received no response. I actually had to call his boss,Tom Dillion, who I later met with and agreed on a sum of monies to be paid, in order for his dealership to take back the car. On Monday, 11/21 the car was returned, the paper work signed, and the check handed directly to Mr. Dillion.Beginning Dec 28th, my mother started receiving phone calls and past due bills from the Chase Bank stating that her payments were in arrears and that her credit would be affected if payments were not made immediately. I contacted Mr. Dillion, by phone that same day, and left both my home and cell phone numbers. Once again, no response. I telephoned him a few hours later and he stated to me that he had not checked for messages. He also told me that he had been trying to get in touch with me for weeks. I explained that there were no messages on either of my phone lines ; at which time Mr. Dillion stated that he did not have either of my numbers nor was I listed in the white pages. This was a blatant untruth as he had both my numbers when he needed to get in touch with me concerning the payoff check and I am listed in the white pages and local telephone book. Then he proceeded to say that Scott had been feverishly trying to get in touch with my mother at her home and there had been no answer. Well, that was not the brightest thing to do as my mother was in a rehabilitaion hospital in New Jersy, which was the reason for me handling the return of the car to begin with. Evidently, Mr. Dillion had made an error when he had my mother make out the check to the bank as opposed to the dealership. However, it is unconscionable that in this day in age, that you would out and out lie to a customer and not even think of sending a letter when you could not get in touch with them by phone. On Friday Dec 30th, I brought Scott, as I was told Mr. Dillion was on the phone and unable to see me, a new check made out to the dealership. Well, now the car was returned on the 21st of November; along with the first check. The replacement check was given in on the 30th of December and guess what.... as of today 1/09 ,my mother is still getting threatening calls from Chase along with late payment notices. So, would I recommend this dealership; not on your life !!!!

I had some negative experiences at some other dealers that I wont name. To be honest, I was probable more frustrated than I had ever been with a car. I went to Palisades Mazda with a mixed bag of needs and they took me in with open arms. We sorted through the problems with my car one by one and we got it all done. I was psyched! I wasnt rushed of treated poorly becuase I had so many different complaints. My advisor didnt gt frustrated with me. They are kind, professional, and diligent. A breath of fresh air for me for sure!

Dealt with Emu and Tom. Super easy to deal with. They give you a great price without all the games. Made the deal with a few quick emails and phone calls. No need to spend 4 hours on a Saturday sitting in a dealership. My second purchase from them and they were great both times.This is 100% different than my experience at Ramsey Mazda. I called them about 2 weeks ago, spoke to a John, told him I was ready to lease a CX9 with certain options and asked for a price. This is what he says "you are looking at a payment of mid 400s". Typically Car Salesman talk. I asked him to narrow it down and he tells me that's the best he can do on the phone. Invited me to the dealer so we can discuss. WHY WOULD I WANT TO SPEND MY ENTIRE SATURDAY SITTING IN A DEALER WHEN I CAN GET THE SAME THING ACCOMPLISHED WITH A QUICK PHONE CALL? Called Palisades Mazda, asked the exact same question, gave me a price on the phone of $360/month. PERIOD. I thought that was fare, didn't haggle. Went the next day to sign and the following day to pick it up. Highly recommend

I had been researching SUVs on Edmunds and other car sites, and finally had decided on either a Mazda CX-9 or a Kia Sorrento. I contacted a bunch of Mazda and Kia dealers through Edmunds (get quotes) and was contacted by Chris, the "internet guy". He laid out all the costs, conformed what options and colors I wanted, and generally cut through all the BS, explained all the current offers and bottom-lined a price for me. I checked with a few other dealers, who played the "well, here's the list and here's the best I can do" and they didn't even come close. I really liked the no-hassle, bottom line price. Came back to test drive the car (including the color i initially wanted), and was ready to sign. Only issue was finding the car in the right color with the right options, and here again, Chris and "the dealer" worked with other dealerships and the Mazda representative to "get dibs" on a car that had just gotten into port and hadn't been delivered to a dealership on Long Island. Chris worked to get the car and options in by the time the offers expired, and Luke joined in by working the financing, as well as noticing that Mazda had come out with an additional offer that wasn't included on my paperwork, and added it in. Painless closing and I was in and out of the dealership in an hour with the new car after touring the service department (and meeting Vickie), setting up a scheduled maintenance appt six months away, etc.Can't say enough good things about their organization. Great guys to work with!

I was looking for a Mazda Speed 3. I had called the dealer first and spoke to a calvin who was suppose to call me back in 5 mins. I had told him i was in the area and i was from out of town. No call back(waited 45mins.) so I went to the dealer and went to go and see the car. I walked in and Joe came up and helped us. From the start he was awsome he found all the deals for us. He showed us 2 cars one for Extreamly cheap and the one we wanted a 2011 tech package included. he gave us at least a 2500. discount on the car. He even sat down and helped us quote the car's monthly payment. Estimateing everything. He knew what we needed him to know. We agreed to proceed and he took us to his awsome manager Micheal. He then told us about all the extras not harrasing us like most Dealers do. He was extreamly nice. He also knew I worked for a bank he does loans with. He not only got me a great rate he made sure they knew i was an employee and they gave me the employee rate. They told us come on monday to pick up the car. When we went Joe had just come back from filling up the tank!!! (no other dealer did this for us!!) And since it was a snowy day he got the car a little dirty and he went out to clean it again. He was more then Helpful when we asked him to at least show us the bascis of the technology the car had. He sat with us for another 45 mins to help us. He was Great!! I love this dealer out of all of the ones i had been to. Besides the phone call with the salesman calvin i really like the other people that work there. Also they gave me the best they could for my trade in!!! They are AWSOME!!!!! Thanks again Joe!!! we truly appreciate it.

I am shocked by the few negative reviews only because my experience has been quite the opposite. I am a single mother of three looking for the best deal posible. After getting the run around from 5 dealers in three states, I was able to get Chris to offer me a very fair quote via EMAIL before ever meeting and to the end of sale he stuck to that quote. He did not pressure me into anything additional I could not afford and his knowledge of the specific car that I was looking to buy was impressive.I financed with Luke and I am a weary consumer and hate any sort of pressure. I found Luke to give his opinion on the extra services based upon his experience but NEVER did I feel pressure and when I decided on my package there was never another word about it. I also found Luke to get every thing done in the shortest amount of time possible and to communicate with me throughout. I was a very nervous/careful buyer and brought along a very protective boyfriend. We were met with extreme patience and though I know I must have driven both men crazy with the amount of emails I sent in a weeks time, both men got back to me (and my boyfriend) immediately each and every time. I am sorry to anyone who had a negative experience but this was not the case for me.Tammy C.

Chris made purchasing my first car so easy and rewarding. He made a big and stressful experience seem like a relaxing everyday purchase. He went above and beyond to put me in the exact car (Mazda 3) that I wanted. He was beyond helpful and never pressured me into buying until I was ready. Overall it was an excellent experience and I HIGHLY recommend Chris if you go into Palisades Mazda. I disagree with the negative marks from the previous buyer. At no point did any of that happen with me. Chris stuck by his quote from day one and never gave up on finding a car for me. THANKS CHRIS!!!!

By far the best car buying experience we ever had. Tom(Sales Mgr) and Luke(Finance)were the most professional people we have ever met. There wasn't any sales pressure or bait and switch. Pricing was exactly as quoted, and Tom kept his integrity upon pricing.The delivery was smooth and efficient, with no delays what so ever. They were as helpful with the delivery as purchasing the vehicle.Even though we traveled 50+ miles from home, we would absolutely consider buying a car from this dealership again. We will visit Mazda Forums and highly recommend this dealership. Thank you Palisades Mazda for are best car buying experience. Tom and Luke awesome job at making are experience pleasurable!!!P.S. It is hard to believe someone could have an issue like the previous posts. It is highly unlikely after are positive experience in this dealership they had this negative experience.

Had a horrible experience at Palisades Mazda. Received a price over the internet from Chris Kindler. When we arrived at the dealership Chris was with another customer and Calvin would be helping us until he was available. Calvin pulled the Mazda5 that we were interested in from the lot. He said he could have it available to take home that day, but would have to bring it back to be detailed, which we were ok with because we had turned in our current car that was leased and needed a car that day. When we went to sign the paperwork Calvin informed us that the quote Chris gave us was incorrect and the car would be an additonal $1000 more. We were dumbfounded. We had many conversations with Chris prior to our meeting. The price "correction" never came up. Calvin agreed he said Chris was new and started in February and it was a huge mistake. Calvin even showed us Chris's hand written notes that had the "wrong" price. Calvin spoke with Tom Dillon, the manager Tom offered to take $300 off so we would only have to pay an additional $700 not to mention the additional 7% tax. We did not agree. We offered to meet 1/2 way at pay an additional $500 begrudgingly. Calvin alerted to Chris his mistake, Chris apoligized and said he would speak with Tom. Meanwhile Calvin went to go get the car and park it right by the dealership window where we were sitting. I guess to dangle the carrot. Tom finally came out to speak with us after we requested many times to see him. Tom told us this was the best he could do and "people make mistakes." "It was the lowest amount he could sell the car for". He was so inflexible and condescending. They got us there offering the car $1000 cheaper than the "correct" price. They knew we needed to leave with a car. Dangled it in front us. We felt set up. My fiance threatened to go the the Better Business Bureau, and it would seem much easier and less time consuming to resolve it rather than deal with the complaint. Tom said he would rather take the complaint because he already works 60 hours a week, so the additional hours to handle the BBB complaint really would not matter. After complete frustration and digust we left. As we were about to pull out of lot Calvin approached our car, he told us not to leave and Tom would take an additional $42.00 off and Chris would be fired. At that point we left totally instulted and dismayed. We ended up going to Ramsey Mazda in NJ. Within 1 hour we had the car we wanted at the original price we were offered over the internet from Chris at Palisades Mazda(The amount Tom would said not be possible). We should have went the Ramesey Mazda from the beginning.

Outside of the price, the salesperson offered, I felt like they did not want my business. When I first went to the dealer (Fri), Calvin said he would email me prices for different models. Never happened. I waited until Wed to go back in. He told me he emailed me, and thought I wanted the Mazda3 sport (wrong). He thought I lived in a certain area (wrong). He thought I wanted to trade in (wrong). 3 strikes and you are out Calvin. I gave him another chance anyway, and thanks to that, he offered me a price I couldn't refuse.Now it was onto Luke, the Finance Manager. He tried to sale me on things I didn't need like tire protection and Halt Shine to protect the care from rust, tree sap, oxidation, etc. He had 3 different stories about why the tire protection was good. I had no intention on buying it. I actually busted him with one of the stories. He kept on telling me that every tire has a sweet spot, and one tire bubbled up and damaged the rim (he showed a picture). I then asked him, "What does that say about the rims then?" He quickly changed his story about it being the rim hit a curb...He also tried to sell me on the Halt Shine. At first I was interested, but then did a little research. He gave me a brochure to explain the features. I checked out the website. The website did not show me much. There was more info on the brochure than the website. If you do your research you can find plenty of info, like, never trust a website that has a PO Box, which Haltenz.com (Halt Shine)had. Never trust a website that has a 1-800 automated phone number, which Haltenz.com had. The zip code did not match with the website town listed. The zip code was for a totally different town. I told Luke this and he said he was trying to get the company to update their website. Sure!!! He is still trying to sell me this Halt shine by faxing the warranty info. The info had a different phone and zip code listed than the website. My suggestion is do not buy and additional features that the finance manager is trying to sell because they are not worth it. The main responsibility for the Finance Manager is to make you walk out of the dealership with the highest monthly payment as possible.He also told me I shouldn't put any money down if it was 0% APR. After long researching, I found out he was trying to make money off of the amount of the loan I was going to finance. Never listen to what the finance manager has to say.The Wednesday that I went in to talk to Luke, he said he was an email type of person. Why did I have to wait a whole week, and then email the salesperson to find out what was going on with the paperwork because Luke never emailed me back? Luke then tells me to show up that Friday at 10am to sign the papers. I show up exactly at 10am and he tells me "the paperwork is not ready. I wasn't expecting you to be here this early. Can you wait 1/2 hour or come back later?" He told me to show up at 10am, I did and the paperwork was not ready. Ridiculous!!! I told him I would just come back tomorrow. (Saturday)Saturday comes, I sign the papers and finally am expecting a brand new car. They pull the car up. Great right...no...the stickers are still on the windshield and the invoice sticker is on the passenger window. I had to peel it off myself. I just took the car home and upon further inspection, the car was never washed and it probably wasn't cleaned on the inside either. I noticed dirt on top of the car as well as the crevice of the trunk and doors. I also notice a chip of paint on the hood and driver's side view mirror. I never brought the car back because of my overall dissatisfaction with the dealership. Thank God for a good purchase price.I'm not saying they aren't a good dealership, just saying they handled my purchase of this vehicle very very poorly.

We could be no more happier with our car buying experience from Palisades Mazda. Everyone there went above and beyond for us and made this whole experience wonderful. We could have not asked for anything better. We will certainly recommend Chris and Palisades Mazda to any family members or friends who are looking for a new car.

Right from the time we approached the dealers at Pallisades, we were met with courtesy and amiability throughout. With Chris around, there was not a single boring moment. While we waited for our old car to be inspected, he regaled us with interesting anecdotes and snippets of his experience. They offered us a real competitive price and we were at ease and cheerful throughout the transaction. We wd definitely recommend these guys to family and friends..

I visited several area dealers efore buying my M3 at Palisades.The other dealers ranged from inflexible to nearly dishonest. I walked out of one in NJ who added $129 on to the agreed price for "VIN etchings"without telling me. Anither dealer tried to tack on $300 in "doc fees" as we were closing.Palisades was clear from the beginning on what the price would be and did not change.Last year I bought an Audi TT from their affiliate Palisades Audi and was equally impressed.I will always make a Palisades dealership a top choice when buying a car.
