I’m from New York and my check engine light came on during vacation. I made an appointment at Palmetto Chevrolet. I’m used to sitting around forever just waiting for a diagnosis but the service guys were quick and thorough. Luckily it was an easy fix and I was out quickly. I want to say Hands down buying a car here was one of the best experiences I have ever had when it comes to any sort of dealership. Shane Faulk was not only super friendly and helpful, he was funny as can be. I am so happy with my Terrain and experience here I will tell everyone about this place and send them there. 10/10.

I purchased my first brand new express work van. I was told I had a 3 year/36,000 bumper to bumper warranty. From day 1, driving the van down the road, the van has been pulling to the right. I took it back to the shop and I was told the rotor was off balanced.... at 15,000 miles. I was told the brakes was not covered in the warranty. Bumper to bumper means everything. If the brakes were bad at 15,000 miles, they should have been replaced. The steering wheel jumps when I go down the road. The problem was supposed to be fixed but it is not. I think you are trying to wait until my warranty runs out so I can pay for it. If I knew I was going to get this type of service, I would have purchased a Ford or Chevrolet. I have a 2004 Chevy truck and it holds in the road. I should get the same results with a 2020 van. The way I feel, if the van did not have a bumper to bumper warranty, don't say it does. Tell me what is covered. I want to know why if the van needs brakes why is it not covered? I called around to other dealerships and bumper to bumper means everything. I just want to know why is is not covered. I have to miss another day of work to get this fixed. I am not a person to complain, but I feel as if I am getting the run around. I am self-employed and every day that I miss work, I miss money. I thought purchasing a new van, I was getting the best.

I was out of town when my truck mess up and I meet Chris Grainger that works at Palmetto Chevrolet and he told me to bring it there and he would fix it. He did in less than 20 minutes and it was great service. I would recommend palmetto to anyone. Great and friendly service. Butch

I wanted to lease a new Equinox or Trax. I had to search for a salesman, and when found, I told him what I wanted. He pointed me in the direction of the 3 Equinox and Trax vehicles, and that was the last I saw of him. I went to Myrtle Beach to lease my new 2016 Equinox and had the BEST experience ever!

My silverado was having an issue with he brakes while on vacation from Connecticut. Other dealerships couldn't get me in until two days before we had to go home. I called Palmetto and talked to Steve. I told him we were due to leave in five days and need this fixed as we are towing an 11,000lb camper. He said to bring it right over. They squeezed me in and found a bad sensor. The repair was 170.00, 200 less than back home. I'm extremely greatful to Steve and Palmetto Chevrolet for their friendliness, urgency of the repair, and performance. True professionals.

OK First of all I did not buy a car yet. But it's not because they did not make an agreeable deal. I just decided maybe my choice of vehicle was not right and because I would have to have it serviced at the closer Dealership in Myrtle beach which has in the past given me the " we are backed up for two weeks" excuse. . This is the most easy going no pressure dealership I have visited in the past few weeks in looking for a smaller car to trade my Tacoma for. I made a deal on an HHR but decided the HHR might not be a good vehicle going forward despite their generous cash offer on top of the HHR for my trade. If their service department is anything like their sales department i would not hesitate to buy a car at Palmetto Chevrolet. A completely DIFFERENT and more positive experience than Myrtle Beach Chevrolet who is more the typical high pressure dealership. One of the reasons I hesitate to buy a Chevy is because Myrtle beach is closer and I don;t want to take my vehicle there for service. I will keep checking back with Palmetto for other brand choices.

We went to test drive a 2012 Malibu - we liked it and asked for a quote - after a total of three quotes - all higher then what I got on-line from other dealers and the fact that they were 8% lower on my trade in vehicle. I got my car from another Chevrolet dealer.A big problem this dealer has: They want to tell you over and over that they do not add a document fee to the cost of the vehicle.What they don't seem to understand: I do not care - all I want is the lowest out the door cost - they can add the cost lunch for the saleman as lone as they give me the lowest overall cost for the new vehicle.

We were in Myrtle Beach on vacation and our Suburban started having problems right as we got into Myrtle Beach. The local Myrtle Beach dealership was backed up two weeks in the service dept which obviously wouldn't work since we were only on vacation for one week! Palmetto Chevrolet was the next closest and fit us in the same day I called. Then they went above and beyond by driving to pick up parts that they did not have in stock so that we could get our car back by the end of that same day. It didn't end there, they also noticed some chrome trim on our door handle was flaking and replaced it without it ever having been mentioned. Thank you to everyone in the service dept at Palmetto, you are fantastic!
