I went to Paramus Chevrolet on Saturday with no intention of purchasing a vehicle; I ended up leaving with a 2017 Chevy Equinox. I was in the market to lease a new cross over vehicle and had planned to look at a few different brands including Chevy. My wife and I with met with Andy Solis and he took his time to show us the Equinox along with the Malibu (looked really nice in the showroom) and took us for test drives in both vehicles. Andy was patient and took the time to understand our needs and ultimately sold us a vehice. The negotiation process was very smooth and at no time did we feel pressured to make a deal. We were at the dealership well after it had closed for business so we could finalize the paperwork and at no time did we feel rushed. Thanks again to Andy and team at Paramus Chevrolet.

Have leased at Paramus Chevrolet since 2000. I never had any problems until this past year when I turned in my car and got into another lease in 2015. Bob Brooks was my sales person for the first time and the process went smoothly. However, months after returning my old lease I was hit with the news that I owed almost $600. Of course, I tried to contact my sales person who had been so helpful when I signed that new lease, but he couldn't care less. I chased after him for almost a month for him to tell me I must have "missed a payment somewhere along the line". Long story short, it was his mistake when he wrote the payoff amount on the car and since then that account has been delinquent on my credit report (first time ever for me!). A manager ended up helping me after Bob ignored my request for help in the matter. The account was paid by Paramus Chevy but the damage was already done to my credit. I have been fighting this since February 2016. Horrible follow up from Bob Brooks. He is very available when he needs you to sign that lease but if you encounter any problems after the fact, good luck!

I am a young adult (22) who has been in a Chevy family for over 30 years. My father has owned I'd have to say maybe 15 different Chevy vehicles over his life span alone, and I'm growing into the tradition. Over the time I've started shopping, I've went to many different dealers. Some were horrific, some okay, and some pretty good. Robert Bozzo was one of the first dealers to really treat me with a great amount of respect, and courtesy. Even though things didn't work out right now (I have to come back in a few months and finish more of my lease), Robert treated me like I was ready to buy today. I will be back in a few months to buy from Robert personally, and I'm very VERY excited for the future experience. If all goes well, my father will continue our Chevy family with this dealer (we usually have three at a time). Again, amazing dealership, excellent salesman, and I can't wait to come back on here to write a review when I purchase my vehicle with Robert.

I bought two cars from Paramus Chevy (2008 Malibu, and 2012 Traverse). When I had an issue with my A/C unit several months ago, and since I purchased my 2012 Traverse (Certified) I decided to go to the Paramus Chevy Service Center to deal with it. I also have a factory warranty and the extended warranty (when I bought the Traverse), but I was told I needed to pay for the service to get my A/C fixed, which was about $250. So, I dished out the money and forgot about it. I don't drive this car much but a couple months later I decided to take a week off and took a road trip with my wife and 2 kids (3 and 6 years old). The A/C messed up in the heat and I had to leave my family in the hotel and drive back to Paramus Chevy Auto so they can again fix the A/C as it wasn't working. Again I spoke with Tom McLoughin and explained to him that the car was not driven even 1,000 miles since they last 'fixed it' a couple months ago. Tom responded by telling me that if the A/C has too much pressure it will begin to leak. After getting the car checked he told me that service can't find the source of the leak and they placed a dye, so I need to come back in two weeks before my warranty expires. [Okay, so my factory warranty expires in Sept. and I was already charged over $250 for the job before, so I shouldn't have paid in the first place]. Tom then scheduled me for Monday morning, but put it in the system for Saturday (and the shop doesn't even open Saturday). I drove back to the hotel minimizing the amount of time I spent putting on the A/C so that I could make sure my kids will have A/C in the car for the rest of the vacation. This did not work as even though I didn't use the A/C much the hissing sound was back and we lost the A/C within days. It totally ruined the vacation and we ended up cutting it short and driving back at 4AM to avoid the heat. So I go a third time and I am greeted by Elisa Pfeiffer. I told Elisa the problem and she said when my warranty expires and that she needed to find out about the payment; so I left the car with Chevy Auto Service ALL DAY. When I picked up my car I was told that the factory warranty covered it and it was an Evaporator Leak which was fixed. Now, a week later, I am driving my car and hearing another hissing sound (the same exact leaking sound as before). One thing I could thank Paramus Chevy Service for is a BIG HEADACHE! I trust the person who sold me my two cars, but there is no way I could ever buy another car from Paramus Chevy because their service stinks! They can't get the job done right!

I'm a new customer but I'm already loving this dealership! Andy Soltis, the salesman who took care of me, has been absolutely patient for hours while I was making up my mind and helped me finding the perfect car for my needs. He took me for two test drives and went well above and beyond what you would expect, finding the car that I wanted at another dealer (it was the last one in the whole region!). He then worked with the other dealer to get the car here for me in just a few days.Robert, the finance manager, was efficient and very clear in going through all the papers (I love their electronic documentation system, no stacks of paper to sign!) and got me the lease I needed for the price I wanted to pay.Their commitment did not stop after I left with the car! I had a small issue only a couple of days after the sale and I had to go back to service the car: not only Norman Recarte (the Service manager) fixed the problem in less than one hour (while I was able to work in their business lounge), but I did not have to pay anything at all!This is indeed exceptional service! I will surely recommend this dealer to anyone I know!

I used to bring my 2500 hd silverado to paramus for service because I only had one tech work on it. My wife took the truck in for service and ask for my tech. The service sales guy said ok . They sold me a throttle plate service. My truck is a diesel no throttle plate!!!!!! My wife dont know and she said ok do it. When I got home and she told me I call my tech who is my friend, He told me that he did not work on my truck . He was off that day. THE SERVICE GUY DID NOT TELL ME THE TRUTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!And ripped me off!!!!!I And the fron-end was not lube!!!! I call chevy and told them what happen. Joe C

Looked at a few local dealerships in New York while I was interested in purchasing a 2016 Chevy Colorado. He found me the car I wanted, took me for a test drive, and I fell in love with the car. My husband is looking for a customized conversion van. He was told both online and via telephone that Paramus Chevrolet had one in stock. Charmaine sent photos of a van she said was in stock as of Saturday night (they are closed Sunday) and so we drove 20 miles on Monday to see it. When we arrived a salesman approached us about our interest but no van available. Guess what.....when Charmaine appeared it was now magically gone. She said it was sold. When I asked "when was it sold" silence fell. If one is looking for a standard type of car a bate and switch could work but this idiot Charmaine and her sidekick Jeff (who she said to ask for if she was not available) wanted to get us in the door. These are dopes that give car sales people bad name. We also plan to report them to the van company that customizes the Chevy Express and places them with dealerships. Obviously they won't be happy that these two were trying to sell us something else. So, a big waste of time and gas!

Normally I hate the process of getting a new car, not this time. Bob Brooks and the Paramus Chevrolet team was great to work with. The model we wanted was not in stock but Bob worked hard to get us in the exact vehicle we were looking for and kept me updated daily until it came in. Not only was he very knowledgable about the vehicle but a very interesting guy personally and you could tell he really cares about his customers. Everyone at the dealership was fantastic but Bob really added that personal touch.

I spent a total of about 6 hours with Lennie Clark, going between two different cars. Back and forth, just not sure. He never pressured me. Gave me the pros of each, what to look for in what I really wanted. I was all set on one and then, at the 11th hour, I changed my mind. I was going to buy the Trax and ended up with a Terrain. It has become the car of my dreams! I love this car so much I park it in the extreme corners of lots and make sure no one can park near it. Every day I learn about something more it does. This was a great car buying experience and I would recommend my friends to go see Lennie if they want a car. He really went above and beyond.

We decided to replace our aging Chevy Suburban that we bought at Paramus Chevy 18 years ago. Sales rep Andy Soltis got us a great deal on a new Suburban LT. Although it was a holiday, he was able to prep the vehicle, and even secure financing and insurance in record time, so that we could drive it off the lot that day. Andy is an affable guy who put us at ease right away, and also quickly adapted to our own business like no nonsense style. He gets extra points for that. I highly recommend this recently modernized and upgraded dealership - you'll love the computer monitor desk in the finance office. You literally sign each screen with a stylus with no avalanche of papers being thrust at you - very impressive.

I recently purchased a 2016 Corvette Z06 through Paramus Chevrolet. This is the second Corvette I have purchased from the dealership. My salesman was George Armaniaco back in 2009 and he is one of the reasons I returned to Paramus Chevrolet to purchase my 2016.In addition, I always have my Corvettes serviced by the dealership and generally work with Tom McLoughlin (Service Advisor). He is another reason I keep returning to Paramus Chevrolet.On May 17, 2016 I picked up my 2016 Z06. I had a problem with one of the tires the same day. It was not the fault of the dealership however, they went above and beyond to help me and see that the issue(s) I had were fully resolved. Giving it 1 stars only because of the real awesome help I got from the service advisor otherwise I would give it a negative star for the way vehicle was returned from the mechanic that worked on it. Vehicle went in for engine work received call telling me vehicle was ready. After receiving keys from cashier went outside started vehicle check engine light came on (vehicle was dropped off with no lights on) went back inside and told one of the service advisors that the check engine light was on and was not going to drive vehicle home with out knowing why it was on. Was told that all mechanics had gone. Home for the day. I was lucky enough to have one of the service advisors go to the back and get a scanner tool to see why the engine light was on. Turns out the mechanic did not plug in the fan clutch back in and once I gave the engine bay a look over noticed it was filthy greasy and had antifreeze all over. I stated to the advisor that I did not expect this type of service from a GM dealership and could have gone to a mom and pop mechanic to have work done but figured since it was done at a dealership that I would expect a better result. Guess I was wrong. I shouldn't have to open the hood and do my own investigating as to why the engine light was on. This is basic 101 as far as double checking your work before returning a vehicle to a customer. That and the fact that the mechanic worked or had to take off parts to get to the faulty part and did not clean anything just put the oily parts back on. A total of 2 minutes tops to clean his work would have made such a difference. Called service manager and explained situation she just stated that things like this happen and the mechanic that worked on my vehicle was one of her best guys (I would hate to see what her average mechanic does) then stated what would you want me to do. I explained that the engine was covered in oil and having his tech clean his work would have made a world of difference. She asked to bring vehicle back so mechanic can take a look to make sure everything is correct and to steam clean the engine. ( shouldn't this have been done by mechanic before returning vehicle to customer?) I returned to dealer they took vehicle in had mechanic look over his work again (smh) then I thought he was going to clean engine like service manager stated but once I received vehicle back and inspected it the mechanic just cleaned some parts with spray cleaner not steam engine like was promised. Now I have to spend more money to buy engine degreaser and something to take out oil from driveway that leaked overnight from the mess the mechanic left. I guess lesson learned find a reputable local mechanic rather than return to dealership. I will probably never go back for service or to buy a vehicle from this dealer. Certified service blah blah my butt.

I am extremely satisfied with the professionalism of the staff at Paramus Chevrolet. I had a great experience leasing my Traverse with Bill Mann. He was professional and patient and spent a few hours with me pricing different trims and options. What I liked most was that Bill was transparent and explained all the numbers to me and answered all of my questions. Everything from start to finish was the equivalent of hitting the "easy" button. Our "happy" car advisor, Bob, made every part of the leasing process quick and easy. Andy, my salesman took me on a test drive and fully explained all the features of the vehicle and answered all my questions. Within a couple hours, I was able to drive off in my new Volt. I recently purchased a Cruze from this dealership. The experience from beginning to end was amazing. I contacted them even though I had bad credit, and they went all out to get something done. My initial contact was with Charmaine Hoilett, who responded to my online inquiry and touched base with me frequently during a very difficult time and not only communicated well, but provided comforting thoughts as well. Mostafa Karbouj spent a considerable amount of time with me going over all possible options despite knowing about my bad credit. He took my for a tour of the inventory so I could get a good idea of what was available. And what can I say about Robert Davidson, who got me a finance package that was superb! I had the best car buying experience in the world at Paramus Chevrolet. My salesperson Bryan A was the nicest sales person I ever worked with-He is golden, hold on to him forever. Bryan and I started talking on a Friday, I explained to him what I was looking for, and my term as to when I wanted to buy-I went on Friday, and before we even talked about anything related to purchase, Bryan took the time to listen to my needs, go over numbers with me, -since that is what I wanted to do- showed me different models of what I was interested in, and left me with the ball in my court. It was for this reason that I knew I wanted to go back on Saturday and do business with him. He took the time on Saturday to show me more models, test drive, and do more numbers. When I found the car I wanted, I also had brought my girlfriend with me. Her credit score is better than mine. Paramus Chevrolet suggested about having her as a co -signer, and the reason this was a great suggestion, was because they got me and us, a better interest rate based on her credit. That is a dealership doing a great job for the customer!! I bought a beautiful 2011 Camaro 2SS with 16k miles, Ruby Red, and a 2 year Maintenance and Service Plan. It is a beautiful car, and Paramus Chevrolet couldn't have done a better job! In addition, Russ in Finance was great, as well as Martin, Bryant's, Manager. It was the best car experience I ever had, and Paramus Chevrolet made it happen. I recently visited Paramus Chevrolet with the interest in leasing a pickup truck. Prior to visiting this dealership, I did some shopping around at local Ford, Dodge, and GMC dealerships looking for the same type of vehicle. When I arrived at Paramus Chevrolet I was bypassed by a couple of salesmen (unknown if they were busy with other duties or not), however, Mostafa Karbouj saw that I was unattended to and actively looking at vehicles on the showroom floor. He proactively approached me and inquired if I needed any help, at which time I told him of my interest in either the Silverado or the Colorado. Over the next few hours, Mostafa treated me with the upmost respect and kindness. At no point did he try to steer me towards other cheaper vehicles, which had happened at other dealerships due to my age. He also catered to all of my requests in a very professional manner and at no time during my visit did I feel rushed or taken advantage of. It was a pleasure to deal with someone who is closer in age and who I can relate better to. Mostafa was very understanding of my situation and helped me reach a price which I can afford. Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience at Paramus Chevrolet and this was due mostly in part to Mostafa Karbouj.

There's a good reason these guys are the highest rated people selling cars in the northern NJ area. I had an awesome experience at the Paramus Chevy dealership this past week leasing a 2016 Equinox. Robert, the salesperson whom I had the pleasure of working with, was professional, very friendly, and very efficient. I walked into the dealership in the morning having done some research into their specials. Robert showed me some sedan and SUV options that really fit my personality and budget, but the Equinox seemed to fit the bill best. He let me think about what I wanted to do and allowed me to contact family for their friends! At this point, I can tell you that many other dealers would have salespeople that just want to rush you to make a decision, however, Robert and Paramus Chevy made me feel comfortable. Robert even explained car leasing verbiage that confuse many people. I took it for a test drive and I really liked what he had to offer me. He ran my credit and he gave me some great deals! The rebates were very impressive and helped to lower the cost of the vehicle a significant amount. I was afraid that as a student with up-and-coming credit, I would be denied. But it was a real treat to have Robert walk into the room saying "You're approved!" My lease deal was totally appropriate and affordable. They threw in some amazing rebates that lowered the price of the car significantly. For an AWD vehicle during this season, I was very happy to say the least. Signing the paperwork with the financial manager followed and it too was a very quick and pleasant experience. No awkward conversations. I felt like a fool at the last place I leased a car from because they said that not buying any of the maintainance add-ons is basically the stupidest thing I could do. Robert personally gave me his number and bid me farewell in the rain! Thanks so much for everything!

I have purchased lots of cars over the years, but this 'deal' was by far the easiest. I had an idea of what the price was and Bob Brooks came in much lower. I was ready for the extra fees and charges but when it came to signing on the dotted line, there were NO EXTRA CHARGES. Bob is a man of his word. All car dealers should follow his way of doing business, I would also like to say that Paramus Chevrolet Service Dept. is a great asset too. Always fast and efficient. I was late for an appointment and they stayed late to accommodate me. So great sales and service, what else could you ask for!

After a good number of years leasing cars (more than 15), I found an out of the ordinary dealership. I always knew that the salesmen were "taking me for a ride", but that changed yesterday when I got an Equinox AWD V6 in Paramus Auto Mall Chevrolet in Paramus, NJ. Nobody else was able to come close to the deal I got in Paramus Chevrolet. I always do my homework, calling, contacting several dealers and making appointments to see where to go when I'm ready to take my final move.I'm not only talking about money here. When I first called Moe, he did what few are willing to do, he took his time to go over my requests and then followed up with phone calls and texts in a very professional way. It's a pleasure to deal with people like Moe, straight and honest, pleasant and direct.Mike Falzone, the Financial Manager, is another example that somebody in Paramus Chevrolet is doing the right thing when it comes to hiring its employees. Lori Brady was great. She handled my issues professionally and resolved them in a timely manner. The employees in the service area are always fantastic. They address my concerns and advise me of any issues that should be addressed with my Equinox. THEY (Lori, Tom, Anne) are the main reason I travel 40+ min. to have my automotive needs taken care of. They are honest and trustworthy. In this day and age these are qualities that are not easy to find.

I always bring my vehicles to Paramus Chevrolet for service , not just for the scheduled oil change but for all my trucks needs. They are always very timely and if there is a issue, they do their due deligence to rectify the issue. The customer service waiting area has everything I need while I wait, from gourmet coffee like cappuccino and hot chocolate to TV or free WIFI so I can work . The staff is always helpful and always have a smile.

From the time I walked in, the entire staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and most professional. And the best part...I had shopped around ALOT (yes, I'm one of those "prove it to me" buyers), and Paramus Chevrolet was the best price I found form any Chevy dealer in North Jersey. Yes, I shopped all of them and Paramus was the best I found. They also gave me more for my trade-in than anyone else. The entire facility just was rebuilt and is really clean and professional; and their Manager Anthony Ciarlo was both professional and not pushy. He answered all of my questions and was quite patient with me. I'm just really happy with my decision to buy from them, and you will as well!

Since the sale of our 2016 Chevrolet Equinox 11/5/16 we have heard from him weekly checking in on the satisfaction of our new vehicle. Hope we don`t experience the run around we have had in past three years with our 2009 Chevrolet Silverado pick up, we have brought it in for servicing numerous (at least four) times for servicing of individual tire monitor sensor alerts and finally replaced monitor last week. Also promised car wash for inconvenience year ago, never an available person when inquired following paying the service bill. )

My 2014 Impala had a check engine light on . It took 4 service visit to get it fix !!! very bad diagnose by tech 36 whoever that is.Every time I came back they telling me the car needs flushes!!!What are flushes? The only flush i know is the toilet!! I call GM they told me no GM car or truck need s any FLUSHES !! When I call the so service manager she told me that is how they make money. went to trade in my car to purchase a new corvette was told a price for my trade in was $48000.00 one day, went to do make the deal and was told they would give me $5000.00 less then what I was told,the sales manager said he spoke to the sales person who denyed I was told the trade was $48000.00 and also someone else who shook my hand originly and said no problem on the agreed price also lied and told the sales manager he never gave me that price,I than went to a nother dealer in N.Y. state and they gave me the price that they agreed upon with me and so I ordered the car from them with no problemI went back to Paramus chevrolet to show the sales manager the contract with the trade in I had and he could care less,it's a shame when I tried to go nearby to purchase a new car and I had to go out of state.

I wanted to lease a Chevy Traverse and went to the dealership in May to check their vaunted low price deals. They welcomed me very professionally but that was about it. As soon as I started asking for specific details of the numbers it threw them off. I had done a very good homework about the all the numbers of leasing a car. They started giving me numbers that did not add up. The only thing they were interested in was how much I was ready to pay per month. That is the oldest trick in the leasing book. When I asked the manager Brent CoFrancesco what the money factor rate was his answer, "Gee I don't know, I haven't gotten that question in a while. Let me check for you." He never came back into the room and I dealt with only the sales guys Andrew Soltis from then on. A manager that does not know the current money factor/interest rate but is happily quoting monthly rates, come on!!!Anyway, I kid you not but Andrew left the room every time (~10 times) I asked for a number, saying he did not know and had to ask his supervisor. A salesperson who is there to smile and just put some number in front of the customer without knowing what anything means!! Anyway their final offer was approximately $50/month more than the offer I had on the table with another dealer. When I mentioned the lower offer they insulted me by saying that it was a very suspicious offer. Finally when I mentioned that their numbers were not adding up they asked me to leave, as I was occupying too much of their time and they had to attend to other customers. At that time there were 4 other sales reps standing alone without a single customer in sight.I have since gotten a great lease deal on the higher Traverse model and ended up buying it. Paramus Chevrolet is the worst dealership experience I had. I am in the process of reporting them to consumer affairs department.

Two weeks ago I visited Paramus Chevrolet after completing a specific internet search for the color and model Camaro I was looking to purchase. Julie at the front desk was very friendly and professional when I walked in. Joe was my salesman, and he had the vehicle prepared and brought into the garage for me to view. We talked pricing and then ended up including my Corvette as a trade. Joe was very knowledgeable about both of the vehicles and we soon came to an agreement. When I returned later in the day to pick up the Camaro it had been detailed and all paperwork was ready to go. After a brief in vehicle familiarization session I fired her up and drove away a very happy man.

I recently traded my 2004 Chevy Colorado for a 2011 Chevy Traverse at Paramus Chevy. The sales men Anthony Butler was a joy to deal with. I believe Martin the gentlemen in charge of trade-ins gave me a fare price for my truck. Gloria Carlson stayed late to get the financing done,and missed a dinner engagement because of it. It took four hours to get it done...(a little long) but overall it was a pleasant experience. I would highly recommend this dealership if your in the market for a new or used car !

It was my initial experience with Adaria, and continued help and information from Bob that brought me into this dealership. After contacting many, this dealership, most specifically these people, that made the decision for me with no hesitation. I was in a difficult situation, with my time at a premium, and finite funds. These people worked with me to make it possible for me to make a new car purchase, and made accommodation for my limited time. All information with specifics was provided to me up front, both online and by phone to help me evaluate the purchase and make my decision. Other dealerships were not forthcoming, and expected me to make multiple trips to them before I could pin down specifics. This was not possible for me, which Adaria and Bob understood. When I did come in to the dealership, Bob had everything at hand and ready to finalize, with no surprises, other than my surprise at the ease with which everything was accomplished. Mr. Monid was equally efficient, and had everything ready for me upon pickup of the vehicle, which went quickly and smoothly. I will happily recommend this dealership, and most specifically Bob Brooks and Adaria to anyone I know in the market for a vehicle.

I dropped my car off with Moises today for my 1pm appt for brakes. At 5:15, I called to check on it. Service is open til 7pm. I was told that Moises had already left for the day, without ever letting me know what what was up with my car. They tracked down Tom, who was able to tell me that NO ONE EVER EVEN LOOKED AT MY CAR TODAY. The sad part?The last time I had my car serviced at Paramus Chevy, the SAME THING happened. Execpt it was a Friday. So I was told my car would be taken care of on Saturday. Until it wasn't. And then, service was closed on Sunday. On Monday, I had to work with the head guy, who asked me to let Patamus Chevy earn back my trust and business. He is no longer there. Interested to see what will happen tomorrow...New head guy "TH" are you listening? I need my car back with new brakes by 11am...* I have updated my initial rating to account for TH took over and made sure that my car was done the next morning. Thanks to Tom for helping though he had nothing to do with my car. The women who work there are highly competent and if I go back I will ask for one of them :) The shuttle service is top notch.

Its simple.... I have never bought a vehicle from Paramus Chevrolet. When I walked in and told the saleman what I wanted..He told me that They didnt have it in stock nor was he able to order it (was not taking orders for 2014 models anymore). So what did he do? With a little effort from Fred and some positive energy from Hector, They got me exactly what I wanted. The entire experience from meeting saleman to buying vehicle was perfect. I couldnt be happier. Do not do business with this dealership. I recently came off a Traverse lease and was told by my leasing company, US Bank, that Paramus Chevrolet was a designated return location. I even confirmed this afterwards with Fred, the Business Development Manager at the dealership. During my call with Fred, although he expressed disappointment that I will not be leasing another Chevy vehicle, he told me that they do lease returns Mon-Fri from 9 to 5 and that it will take 5 minutes to process. Upon arriving at the dealership this morning to return the Traverse and arranging for a ride home, I was immediately told by the General Manager that they are not a designated return location. After which I described my phone call with Fred 4 business days ago and the GM asked Fred to come to the front. Fred acknowledged the conversation and what he told me but said he has no room for the vehicle and cannot take it b/c of construction on the grounds. I asked him when the construction began and he answered "June", well before our call just 4 days ago in early December. I then turned around and showed him about 30 empty parking spaces. He said there was nothing he could do and after I thanked him for nothing he wished me a Merry Christmas. This dealership obviously only cares about new sales/leases and wants nothing to do with customer service. I assume they rejected the return out of spite only b/c I am not leasing a new vehicle with them. They are a horrible representation of Chevrolet. Stay away from this dealership, go elsewhere if you are smart.

I had brought the Malibu in for an oil change and battery on November 15. All went well. After I got home and my wife took the car out, the SVC TIRE MONITOR indicator came on. I called John McGarry to see about bringing it in the following Saturday as my wife and I were using the Malibu to go out of state for the holiday. John OK'd it even though they were booked solid.When I came in the following Saturday, John was off that day, but Ann took care of me. I was in and out in a good half hour. Turned out that the monitor just needed to be reprogrammed and at no charge!Now, that's good service and how you get repeat customers - by taking care of them!

I decided to lease my vehicle at Paramus Chevrolet after receiving great service treatment. Bob Brooks is a great sales person. He is personable and will go to bat for you. The first time I saw him, I couldn't get a deal that met my needs, but an opportunity arose a few weeks later and Bob worked with me and we struck a deal. There is no pressure or second guessing yourself when Bob is your salesman. On a side note, the financial transaction was smooth and seamless with Russ.

I'm a first time car buyer and I found everyone at the dealership to be courteous, knowledgeable, and honest. Having never purchased a car before I was afraid the dealers would be pushy or would try and hustle me out of money. However, I never once felt pushed into purchasing something I wasn't interested in buying. My consultant Jake Brecher was very nice and informative and when I picked up the car he took the time to explain all the features of the car and to show me how they all worked. I would definitely recommend this dealership to people in search of a new/used vehicle. Also, while I don't have kids myself I was surprised by the playroom near the service area. I think it's great that parents can have a place for their children to play while they're waiting for their car to be serviced. I haven't seen that at other auto service places and I feel that's a nice touch.

I went into three different dealerships the day I got my Malibu. Only when I got to Paramus Chevrolet did I really feel like I was being listened to. I originally was thinking of getting a new car but my salesperson Jeff Quin recommended a low mileage used car. I hadn't thought about it but after discussing my options it did make the most sense. The financing was fast and easy and very upfront. I was so pleased that a week later my girlfriend bought a car from Jeff too! They are great to deal with and would recommend.

My other half and I were in search of a fuel efficient certified pre-owned vehicle that we could keep for a "long time". This was going to be our 3rd car for commuting. We found the vehicle online and contacted Paramus Chevy, and Bob was assigned our case. He made the entire experience from the second we walked in the door all the way through till when we "took our photo" with the car before we drove it away. We would recommend Bob to anybody we know, we live about an hour away from the dealership in NY and using Bob made the entire trip 100% worth it. He worked out the best deal for the car with us and was very upfront and honest, even threw in a few perks for the new ride. I overall had a great experience shopping at this dealership. They were not pushy, intimidating or bothersome. They are very open to negotiation on their used cars. They also offer after market warranties. They had accidentally overcharged me on the dealership fees, however they were honest and sent me the amount that was overcharged back without any hassle. On the purchase date the car was immaculate. I've had my Mini Cooper for 2 months now and I love it.

I was in search of two Chevy work vans because on of my older Chevy Astro vans caught on fire and was considered a total and the other was involved in an auto accident and the insurance company considered that on a total as well. This happened within a 24 hour period.I was two vans down out of three. My third one was a 16' box truck that was hardly driven. I needed desperately to by at least one van for now. I have always had Chevy Astros for the past 20 years. Unfortunately, GM stopped producing these vans for sometime now. The Chevy Express was my next choice to purchase. I visited my local Chevy dealer, where I had purchased vans from them for the past 20 years, and I negotiated, what I thought, was the very best deal. After the purchase of the Chevy Express and using it for a few weeks, I really like the way the van handled and the extra room it has over the Chevy Astro I have been driving. It was now time to purchase my second Chevy Express van.This time I wanted to trade in my 16' box truck for the new van. I went back to the dealer where I purchased my first van. The dealer looked at my box truck and the story I heard was all negatives about the box truck and they were doing me a favor by taking off of my hands. After hearing all of the negatives, about the box truck, I wondered what an idiot I was for even purchasing this box truck in the first place. I decided to put the box truck on Craigs list to see if I can sell it for more than the dealer offered me. By the way, the dealer was going to sell me the second van for a little less than what I paid for my first one from them. They told me it was a great deal.I decided to visit another dealer, Paramus Chevy, to see what they would offer for the box truck and what the cost for a new Chevy Express would be. Let me tell you my experience with Paramus Chevy.I have purchased may vehicles in my life time from a Rolls Royce, Mercedes Benz, BMW's, Mini Cooper to Jeeps. Each time you are at a dealer, it is a truly a customer experience, whether a good, bad or an exhausting experience. Each dealer has their technique on how to convince the buy to buy. They do not want the customer to leave without the purchase of a vehicle. They know the buyer may never come back. After all, there are many dealers selling the same vehicles.This experience was completely different. Something I never experienced before and was quite surprised. I called Paramus Chevy just to fact find thinking they would be higher. In my mind, I would probably be purchasing from my other dealer where I purchased my first van. at Paramus Chevy, I explained to two sales associates Fred Lax and Bill Mann I just purchased a Chevy Express van from a another dealer and was shopping for another van. At that time, it appeared they were working together with my situation. I was fine with that.Both Fred Lax and Bill Mann never pushed for me to visit their showroom nor to drive the 16' box truck, to their dealership for their truck manager to look at it. They were willing to visit my office and have the truck manager come to see it. That made my life much easier. Bill Mann seemed to take hold of this deal. He assured me that they will do what is necessary for my business and give me the best price possible.The truck manager, visited my office along with Bill Mann. It was the first time we all met face to face. All along we were doing business over the phone. Within a few hours after looking at my box truck Bill called me with numbers. The numbers he presented to me, over the phone was very shocking to me. Not only did Paramus Chevy offer more than double on the box truck, they were at least $1,500 less than the other dealer. This truck was equipped with a rear view camera and was still $1,500 less. We closed the deal over the phone with a credit card deposit and was going to pick up the truck in a few days. Bill was willing to drop off the truck at my office and pick up the box truck, not to inconvenience me. I thanked him and told him that would not be necessary. The next part is even better.It is Friday June 26th and I bring in the box truck to Paramus Chevy. I meet with the finance department to sign the papers to finalize the sale. That went very smoothly. There was not the pushy type of "add on" of extended warranties. You can imagine what I am talking about. When that part was over, it was now time to pick up my new truck. As Bill and I entered into the truck for a quick overview of the truck, I noticed that the interior seats were vinyl, not cloth like my first truck. Bill also informed me about loaned vehicles and that they would accommodate me if the truck needs more than just an oil change. The other dealer flat out refused. Bill also told me about free oil changes for the first 2 years. He explained that every 6 months or 6,000 miles just bring in the truck for the free oil changes. WOW!!! I told bill that the other dealer did not offer any oil changes with the other van. When Bill heard this, he told me to bring in the other truck I purchased from the other dealer and he will honor the free oil changes for that truck also.In all of the years, I had never had a customer experience like this before. The other dealer of where I had purchased my truck for for the past 20 years, just lost my business. If I could, I would return the van from the other dealer and purchase another one from Paramus Chevy.A true lesson learned in a buying a vehicle.

We live in Staten Island and could have easily purchased from our own area or Brooklyn but after googling for three days and reading entirely too much literature we decided that going to Paramus was the best option. They had the most selection, as stated on Internet, and there were these outstanding reviews about a fella named Bob Brooks. Upon arrival we were greeted immediately. Then luckily Bob approached us. He was instantly familiar in a friendly, "where do I know this guy from" kind of way. He was kind to our son, accommodating to our time frame and quick to find us the car (with all the fixings) we were looking for. We were able to test drive that day and then Bob led us in the right direction to handle all the financial end, which can certainly be a drag. Sure I wish we could have gotten the car for thousands cheaper but that's pure pipe dreaming. The 2014 Traverse 1LT we picked out is certainly to our liking. It's very attractive, almost like it's wearing a tuxedo. Bob got us the heated seats so I can drive without pain and the 20" rims so my husband could drive without hubcaps. Bob made sure my husband had delicious coffee to drink and made sure my son had a fresh bottle of water. He stayed after hours two nights in a row to make sure we had everything we needed. He found two rebates for us that helped with the cost and got us a great trade in value for our Jolopy. Bob made us very comfortable in an otherwise intimidating environment. Basically he made spending 40K a relaxed experience. I would highly recommend using Paramus Auto Mall and I would definitely recommend asking for Bob Brooks when you walk in.

Had cruise control fixed, rear break pads installed, rear brake rotor re-surfaced and air filter replaced. They also pointed out and re-moved a nail in one of the tires that I was unaware of. The service manager was courteous and professional and the price was reasonable.

I test drove 2 cars from Prestige Toyota and but the sales person was so unpleasant that i ended up leaving with a car. I came here to Paramus Chevrolet and was blown away by how nice and helpful everyone was. Hector was my sales person and he could not have been any sweeter. As a female I often feel overwhelmed by this "car" environment. But I did not feel pressured or taken and i feel that everyone was genuine and honest. i even liked the finance guys. : )

Their quality of service, knowledge honesty, and caring for each and every customer is just something that is not seen anywhere these days. It's unmatched and words cannot justify how fantastic they are. I just bought my first car ever and the way everyone was so helpful with the process it was fantastic I would recommend anyone to buy from this dealership.

First off, Bob was great! the day prior to purchasing Bob and I spoke over the phone and I explained what i was looking for. He was able to call me back with in an hour with the right car for me! He found different rebates that I qualified for to give me the best discount. I went it the following day I was in and out with in 2/12 hours! My wife and I went into this dealership knowing what vehicle we were looking for, the Chevy Traverse. We had already visited another dealership and had gotten a good deal, and the salesman was nice. I try to do my due diligence before making any purchases. when we met Bob, he immediately put us at ease with is humor and had us laughing until we left. During that time he also got us a deal that beat the offer we had previously gotten. The deal put me in the price range I was looking for and saw no reason to walk away or keep looking. When the vehicle we were waiting on didn't show up Bob was able to get me into another vehicle with more features for the same price tag. We had a very positive experience with Bob.

I was experiencing a problem with my 2009 Aveo; the car started losing power while driving and no matter how much gas I gave it, it would not drive faster than 15-20 mph; the check engine light would come on after the loss of power and remained on. I would had to stop, shut off the car, wait a couple of minutes and start it up again, in order to regain full power (The check engine light would remain on); this started a year ago, and when I brought the car for service, they could not find the problem; they would reset some codes, the check light would go off, and the problem would go away. A year later, with the cold winter, the problem came back and with the same result; the dealer had no idea what was causing it. Finally they told me it needed $2000 worth of repairs to fix the issue; I went along with it and got it done; a week later, the car lost power again; they checked it and now they told me it needed additional $500 to fix the throtle body; I spoke with the manager and he kept insiting that the check engine light was on because a different issue was present; however, that was not the reason I got $2000 worth of repairs.. it was to fix the lost of power, which would cause the check engine light to come on... I believe the car should be fixed at no additional charge, since the problem is still present, which means that whatever was done to it did not fix it and it was probably not needed.. the manage wants me to pay for the additional repairs at a discounted price, but he does not guarantee it is going ot fix the probelm... The people at the dealer were very nice and friendly, but I don't belive they took care of my problem at all...

The promotion/offer I was given when I purchased a new 2013 Chevy Cruze in 2012 from Paramus Chevrolet is not being honored. The offer, in writing, says 1st Oil Charge Free + Every 3rd oil change free for life + 1 free oil change as well per year. I got my first oil change free with no problem. When I had brought my car in for the second oil change (which was in 2013) I was told it wasnt free, and had to push and eventually Tim Tarrant got it taken care of so that it was free, and I was told the full offer was now on my record so I wouldnt have any more issues. However, I scheduled an appointment online earlier this week for today & put a reminder about the offer and that it should be free, since I unfortunately expected there may be an issue. I also sent Tim an e-mail with the same note that I put in the online scheduler to help try to reduce the chance of an issue. I received a call from Michelle in Service who told me its not free, and eventually transferred me to Tim Tarrant again. I explained the situation and he said he would talk to them. He replied back to my e-mail Wednesday morning and told me that after he spoke to Michelle & the service manager that they both concluded that you would get every third oil change free and an additional one free per year but you do have to pay for the oil changes in between the free ones. I was also told in a follow up by Tim I have been over ridden by the service dept. they said you have to pay for the next two oil changes then the next one would be free and you can get your next one free for the year and then every 3rd oil change free for life. That is how it has to be I was told by service. That to me, makes it seem like he did agree with me how the offer should be handled, which is the impression I got when I first spoke to him on the phone (otherwise I would have thought hed tell me he didnt agree upfront and not go talk to them like he did after all, he is the one who gave & wrote the offer to us. I have attached the full e-mail exchange that I had with Tim (file titled email with tim.pdf).What makes this even worse for me, is that the added offer of the additional free oil change per year was done because we felt we were in a bait & switch situation at the time we were purchasing the car. I was looking for a car after Sandy destroyed both of ours. I had talked via e-mail, chat & phone about the specific car I wanted, options colors and pricing, and I said I was getting a ride to just come pick up the car with check in hand. Then when we got there we were told that the car had more options on it so the price was higher, even though that was already discussed. We were considering just leaving, but were in a tight spot since we needed a car. This was offered, as well as a gas card (which also never came, until recently they filled up my gas tank for me during a service appointment to compensate for it). Spending close to $30,000 on a car, to then have to do so much just to get the free oil changes I was promised, in writing, is in credibly frustrating. I brought the car in today, since it needed the oil change, and paid for it. Even got the recommended maintenance done at the same time, because Michael & Ann in the Service Department have been very nice each time I see them there, and they seem genuine.

I am very happy that I picked Paramus Chevrolet for my 2014 Malibu. The entire staff was extremely nice and helpful ( was introduced to the Parts Department and the Service center). Most important was the fact that I had BOB BROOKS as my salesperson. Talk about making the whole process of getting a new car easy! Bob ( first name basis now!) is very knowledgeable and was able to answer any questions while at the same time making you feel like you have been over to his house for a BBQ for 20 years. Not at all pretentious, great sense of humor which really put me at ease. He was also very helpful in keeping this whole process under wraps because I wanted to surprise my wife with the car for her birthday/Christmas. This dealership knows how to take care of the customers,make things work for you. The time picking out our car was less than 1.5 hours including looking at various colors and accessories to the car. We had a 10 am appointment with Tom and he was right on time, we didn't have to wait a minute. The time we spent in his office was very pleasurable, he didn't pressure us at all, and he made sure that he addressed all our concerns.The paperwork was very quick too.I would recommend anyone wanting to by a vehicle to go visit Tom Mann.

Everyone performed in an excellent manner! The time with the salesman was quick and the process was enjoyable.The time picking out the car was less than 2 hours including looking at various models and colors. I could have picked up the car on that day except I needed to arrange the cancelation of my old lease. We set the delivery time for 3 business days later and everyone was on time for the delivery.The delivery of the car took less than 1 hour. All of the paperwork was ready and I just needed to sign the forms which took about 10 minutes. The remainder of the time was spent with the salesman (Bob Brooks) going over the features of the car.All in all, the buying experience at Paramus Chevrolet was great!

7/24/2013 Brought leased car in for a leaking water pump. I was told I needed new front and rear brakes for 500.00. They told me that they were unsafe and I needed to replace them immediately. When they asked me if they made any noise - I said no. Lease was up in one month. Went to get a second opinion - was told I had 2, 000 to 3 ,000 miles left on the brakes. When I turned it in on 8/26/2013 I had only put 90 miles on it.8/26/2013 Car was turned into Paramus Chevrolet one month prior to lease termination. At that time I was informed that there was a lease cancellation fee of 395.00 which I was never informed of and I would get a bill 6 to 8 weeks after I turned it in. 9/3/2013 I talked to Bobby at US Bank (the financier) to check to make sure no additional charges would be made and he said it was paid in full and no further funds would be withdrawn.10/7/2013 I checked my bank account and another payment was withdrawn on 10/1 of the amount of 613.26. I called US Bank and spoke with Clarissa and she said that they could issue me a cashiers check which would take 10 days or I could go to my bank and they should be able to refund the money. I did go to my bank and it would it take 10 days to file for a refund and she did not know how long it would take to get the money back. I returned home and talked to US Bank and I was transferred to Mr. Wilson who informed me there was NO RECORD OF MY CAR BEING RETURNED TO PARAMUS CHEVROLET. When I talked to Paramus Chevrolet they said they would check to see if the keys were there. I also talked with someone before Mr. Wilson and she informed me that payments had not been stopped but she would stop them. I called Paramus Chevrolet and he asked who was my salesman for my new car I was purchasing. I told him I would NEVER do business with a Chevrolet dealership again. I have leased Cheveys since 1990. Mr. Wilson also informed me the refund would be returned minus the 395.00 lease cancellation fee as well as any other charges. The car was inspected by a representative of US Bank and I was informed that there was nothing wrong with it. US Bank stole my money out of my account. I am a single mother and I live month to month on my paycheck. This is more than an inconvenience. It effects all of my bills and my ability to pay for the necessitates of life.US Bank said it was a mistake.

His zany personality is infectious and before long youll find yourself laughing along with him. Went into the dealer to compare prices on different models, Bob found me the perfect match with an excellent price. I wanted a blue ray metallic with black interior and manual transmission 2014 Camaro. Even though they didn't have the exact model in stock, he located my car and had it brought in within a couple of days. The service was excellent, I am completely satisfied with my purchase. I visited the dealership just to take a look at what cars they had but I never thought I would walk out of the place with a beautiful used 2009 Chevrolet impala! As my first time walking in everyone was very polite and greeted us and in less than five minutes we were being attended by salesman. My salesman was Bob Brooks, he has an amazing personality, very friendly, and he was very helpful when it came to deciding which car to pick. When we test drive the car, Bob did not only explained every little feature of the car but he also tested it just to make sure everything was working fine such as the sunroof, opening the trunk, the windows, etc. Also the price was great for the type of car it is, I couldn't be more than happy.

Took my car for Service engine light.Twice told that there was no problem.Service engine light came back on.After over 2 months of calling GM national csutomer service problem was finally "found" and fixed under warranty repair.Nothing but attitude and excuses by dealer service department.I have been a GM customer for 20 plus years, that will likely not continue.

I was looking for one specific vehicle with specific options with low mileage that is no longer made. Paramus is a 5 hour drive from my house. When I called on the vehicle and talked to Bob I found it was lacking one option. Bob was quick thinking enough to talk to some people and come back to me with an offer to install the option. Negotiations then began. It took about two weeks for the deal to be finalized. During these two weeks Bob was constantly updating me with the status. He certainly is customer focused!

I went into this dealership to find a deal on a used car for school, and i found just that. Bob Brooks was fantastic, and was able to find a vehicle that both fit my preferences, as well as my financing ability. Mike Fierro was able to work out my payments so that they fit my ability to best pay off the vehicle with the lowest possible interest. Going into the dealership, I expected a far more complicated and stressful process than I had encountered, and if you can make a big purchase like a used car not stressful, I don't know what they cant do. Thanks to Paramus Chevorlet, I am now a very happy owner of a 2008 Chevy Cobalt Coupe and could not be more pleased with my purchase. My wife and I had such a lovely experience with John Dingertopadre and the rest of the staff at Chevrolet. We drove up all the way from DC to deal with a different dealership that we had a history with. However, after several hours of dealing with their screwball tactics-- we walked out. On the advice of a friend, we went to see John at Paramus Chevrolet. We left two hours later, thrilled to have our new car. I cannot speak highly enough of our expertise. We will definitely make this our first stop the next time around.

Mine is an unusual experience... I was a contestant on Wheel of Fortune this spring and was lucky enough to win a Chevy Sonic! I was so incredibly excited, and naturally having no experience in these matters had no idea HOW a car would come to show up in my driveway, particularly because I'm in New Jersey and the prize was awarded through a Chevy dealership in California. Once the ball started rolling, George Chevrolet in Los Angeles told me they'd be arranging my pick up through a local dealership, which turned out to be Paramus Chevrolet. My biggest fear was that this might become a nightmare experience. Figured since "nothing was in it" for Paramus Chevrolet that the service I'd receive would be average at best, so I set my standards pretty low. From there, my husband took the reigns. He was put in touch with a man named Ron Barna at Paramus Chevrolet. With no hesitation, Ron whisked us through how this unusual transaction would unfold. He was in fact SUCH a professional, it seemed like he'd done this a hundred times before which was very relieving for us. He arranged the entire operation, taking his own valuable time to do so, keeping in mind there is nothing monetary in it for him. This took several conversations on his part to assemble, both with George Chevrolet in LA, and with us. The day came to pick up our car last week. We had an appointment to meet with Ron at Paramus Chevrolet. Upon arrival, the energy at Paramus Chevrolet was positive and vitalizing, and though while everyone seemed to be working on something, smiles were generous and "hellos" and "good mornings" were sincere. Without a wasted second, Ron received us into his office where he had all the paperwork laid out to execute. With laughs and a light atmosphere, the process was fast and uncomplicated since Ron did all the legwork. Never had we experienced such capability with a car dealer. It was in his office when we learned that Ron is the OWNER of Paramus Chevrolet. Needless to say, my husband and I were floored. This man took time from his busy schedule to arrange this, nothing at all for his gain. THIS is a sign of excellence no matter what field one works in. Furthermore, this explained why the entire vibe of this dealership was exceptional... trickles down from the top. Ron congratulated me on my good fortune on the game show then turned us over to an employee who walked us through all the bells and whistles of the car. (I want to kick myself for forgetting his name because he deserves to be acknowledged for his part in the process, too.) Wrapping it up... EXCELLENT service, good clean atmosphere, an absolute "home run" experience all around. Go to Paramus Chevrolet. And if Ron Barna ever needed a "customer" to vouch for his business, my husband and I would be first on the list to do so.

I took friend ,an 87 year old woman, to purchase a used car. She selected the Cobalt and she asked me to write this review praising the salesman Bob Brooks. He was friendly,patient and took the time to explain what was necessary for her to purchase the car. The car was ready when we came to pick it up and the transaction went smoothly. She was happy with the price, but I felt it could have been a little better since it had "manual" windows and had no frills. That was why I marked that question "good" instead of great. She considers this a positive experience, loves her new car, and would recommend Bob Brooks to any of her friends that are looking for a car.

Ive been spoiled by Paramus Chevrolet. I was never more certain of that statement since I had my last experience. I have been either purchasing or leasing vehicles at Paramus Chevrolet since 2001 when I first met Tim Tarrant. He was my original salesperson who has been promoted to Sales Manager. He always treated me with the utmost respect and gave me deal after deal that were fair and transparent. I referred friends and colleagues to him and I never heard anything but praise regarding him, their salesman or their service team. Its no wonder they promoted him. The last time I went, I wanted to trade my Suburban for a more fuel efficient vehicle. My kids are grown and I no longer needed to carry my garage in my truck. Since Tim was promoted, he introduced me to John Dingertopadre (or Dinger to those who he worked with). The experience was the same as working directly with Tim much to my relief. John helped me lease a Cruze and Im incredibly happy with the Cruzes performance and gas mileageand my payment. John was professional in his knowledge of the vehicle, the warranties that come with the same and always made me feel comfortable throughout the process. I was wary of the financing process, but, Russ made me feel right at home as well. He explained everything clearly and concisely and didnt try to sell me anything I didnt need. As such, I will continue to refer friends and family to your store! Thanks for a great buying experience guys!!!!

I have been to several dealerships to purchase my 2013 Tahoe. I found myself at Paramus Chevrolet just to test drive a Tahoe. I had the pleasure to get the best salesperson ever. Bob greeted me and told me he was on his 5th day on the job. When dealing with Bob and talking to him about what I was looking for in a Tahoe, I thought Bob had been working there for years. He listened to what I was looking for and was very patient with me. I explain to him I did not need all the bells and whistles and he gave me just that. I left the dealership that day but came back on Saturday to sign the paperwork and pick up BLACK BEAUTY (Bob gave me that name). By far the most fun part was being his first customer I got to cut his tie, now that was more exciting then buying my truck. Thanks Bob you rock!!!

THe money i was going to save by trading and lowering my payment i have spent in repairs. i would not buy ANY used cars from this dealer!

My husband and I were looking to replace our 10 yr. old Silverado 1500. The timing was right with the rebates being offered at this time. I had actually gone to a dealer 2 miles from the house, but the agent there had a problem with working with me until I found the truck of our dreams and then bringing in my husband. No such discrimination existed at Paramus Chevrolet. As a matter of fact, my salesman, Bob (Bobby to me) Brooks, took great care to ask my exact needs in a new truck. Our truck wasn't one on the lot so we knew one would have to be brought in from elsewhere. We toe a 4700lb RV so Bob worked with his vehicle spec's to search for a vehicle that met our needs. He had located a truck for us immediately but that deal feel through. That was because our TRUE truck was still out there waiting for us. He didn't hesitate to find our new truck. It was in VA, but it was our TRUE truck. The color, specs, and all the bells and whistles we would have ordered. She is truly a beauty. You should see my husbands face when he drives her! Job well done Bobby!!!! Thanks for helping us find our luxury vehicle. The courtesy, customer service and attention to our needs made this deal extra special. When i first walked into the Paramus Chevrolet Dealership on June 21,2013 I was met by Mr Bob Brooks who was pleasant and friendly and most of all very helpful . I explained to Mr Brooks that i was looking for a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro in the Infernal Orange color. They did not have this particular color in stock but he insured me that he would do his very best to search for that Camaro and color with all of the the features that i needed . i had to leave the dealership so i told him to let me know when ever he would find one. By the next day i received a phone call from Mr Brooks stating that he had located a camaro with the color i wanted and all the features i requested i was very pleased by this because i have been to other dealerships where they will try to convince the the customer to settle for what they have in stock instead of searching for the vehicle like Mr Bob Brooks did. I recently leased a 2013 Chevrolet Traverse from Paramus Chevrolet. I couldn't be happier with my decision to do business with this dealership. After shopping around for our new SUV through several dealerships, we decided to take a look here. Tim Tarrant and Bill Mann were a pleasure to work with. I always feel like car shopping is a grueling experience, but they completely changed my thoughts in a matter of a few minutes. The dealership reminds me of an "old school" experience if you will. Where a car salesman is genuinely concerned about what we wanted, and what our price range was, and what vehicle best suited our family's needs. There was a particular color combination that I had my heart set on, and other dealerships told me it was an impossibility to get. Bill made it his business to find me what I was looking for. In fact, another Chevy dealership in Hacketstown, NJ called me and asked if we had made a decision as to wether or not we wanted to lease from them, but with a different color vehicle than I had wanted. I told them that Paramus Chevrolet was going to get me what I wanted, at the price I was comfortable with, and the salesman from Hacketstown told me "It's never going to happen. Your going to call me and tell me they couldn't deliver on the promise they made you." We'll, they did deliver and then some. I have given Paramus Chevrolet such a high rating because in my opinion they truly deserve it. I would recommend business to them without hesitation. Tim Tarrant and Bill Mann were wonderful to work with, made me feel comfortable with my purchase and decision, and made me very happy. They really went out of their way to gain us as customers. Initially all personnel were quick to ask if I needed help. Once I did, then Bill Mann came over and I was impressed with his knowledge of all vehicles, including the Dodge I was looking at in a Chevrolet dealership. Bill was very friendly, never pushy about a sale, but when it came time to discuss the sale after my third visit back, it was a very easy, painless agreement on price. Was very appreciative of that. Dealing with Bill and the other people I met was one of the better car buying experiences I have had. Would go back for another vehicle.

Overall, this was a fantastic car buying experience. I located this 2014 Traverse by doing a search on chevrolet.com. I called Paramus Chevrolet at around 3pm yesterday and was immediately routed to John Dingertopadre. John and I spoke for about 30 minutes, and he was extremely friendly and professional. I told John that I was interested and would drive over to the dealership after I finished work. I arrived at around 7pm. By 9pm, I was driving off the lot in my new 2014 Traverse. John gave me a fair price on my new vehicle as well as a very fair trade-in on my 2010 Equinox. He handled everything for me including the trade-in, new vehicle sale, registration, and switching over my Geico insurance to the new vehicle - all in under 2 hours. You really can't do better than that.

Great place to get a car. I leased my first Chevy from Paramus Chevrolet almost 3 years ago. My sales consultant (Bill Mann) was excellent. He had a thorough knowledge of the Chevy product line and really worked to get me a great deal on my car (Chevy Cruze). I was so impressed with the way I was treated, I ended up leasing a second Chevy Cruze from Bill, when my daughter needed a car last year. I also bring our cars there for oil changes & maintenance, and their service department is also great to deal with. I always recommend them to any of my friends who are shopping for a car.

we received an offer in the mail to have our current lease on a 2011 Camaro bought out and lease a 2013 Camaro. We decided to take a look. the experience was worth it since we were able to lower our monthly payment and we did not have to put any addtional money down. the only drawback to the experience was that it took so long for the sales department to come back to us with a price for the new car. we ended up spending over three hours at the dealership. not exactly what I wanted to do,

I spoke to a salesperson Greg and his manager Omar over the phone - We negotiated a price for the vehicle.Everything was confirmed.When I went to do the paperwork -Greg was no longer there. Now I met a new sales person and spent over an hour with him and his manager renegotitating the deal which was offered to me.Finally we agreed. As I had been waiting for a long time and was with kids - the kids were cranky - so I told them that since so much of time was wasted and my kids are cranky - I will call and confirm the color and come back the next day to do the paperwork. Next day I called to give them the color and confirm the time. The sales person and manager back out of the deal they offered me.Obviously I felt cheated and above all they wasted so much of my time.They have no respect for the clients time - they make false promises to lure the customers and once you are there they would make you wait and waste your time.

I purchased a 2013 Chevy Camaro from Paramus Chevrolet and before I reached 100 miles the car started making terrible clunking and popping noises. I had to bring in the car four times for service and the problem was never fixed. I even went on two test drives with the service manager and a mechanic who both acknowledged the problem. Every time I took the car in I was promised that the problem was fixed upon completion of service. However, the problem was never fixed. Before I even drove off the lot the problem persisted and only became progressively worse. The dealer refuses to buy the car back. I warn you to stay away from this dealer for purchase or service. They do not stand behind their vehicles and once you sign the papers they treat you like trash.

I have a 2006 Equinox and I have been taking it for all servicing to Paramus Chevy. I have only had excellent experiences there. It was time to get a new car and this is the only place I wanted to purchase it at. Over the years, I got to know almost everyone there and still enjoy when I walk in that door (and everyone knows me by name). I got to know Bill Mann (my sales person) and I was extremely happy with his help, professionalism and knowledge and I am thrilled with my purchase and I know the future of my car is with Bill and Paramus Chevy!!!!

Simply an outstanding service department. Im from the Rochester, NY area. My Volt stopped running on Route 80 and was towed to Paramus late in the day. The service staff worked diligently to fix the car. Unfortunately, it needed a part.The service department arranged for a rental and I was soon on my way home. The repair technician and service staff stayed in contact with me for several days until the car was fixed. I drove back to the dealership on the way back to NYC. The car was washed and ready to go.The service experience at this dealership is exemplary. Everyone is professional, helpful, and skillful. I have a great car. Paramus Chevrolet provides great service!

I served my car at this dealership back in January 2012 for oil change and tire rotation - contact was David Guzman.After that my front windshield fluid system stop working. I didn't use it for a while and didnt link it to the service at the time.When I came for next service in August 2012 again I was told my Air filter is punched out and install improperly to jam wind shield flied line.Both services failed to meet estimated time line - last one take more the double of 45 minutes I was promised.I reported problem with windshield fluid to consumer report yearly survey to make Chevy looks bad even it was a service problem.

John was very patient and knowledgeable regarding the Chevy Sonic that we wanted. We told him what we wanted in the car and what color and he was able to find us one on the lot. We went for a test drive and fell in love with the car. He worked with the team to get us a good price on our trade in and a good price on our car. He was very attentive to us through the whole process asking us if we wanted bottle water and asking us if we needed anything while we waited for the whole process to go through. My family and I went to Paramus to look at a low mile Certified Pre-Owned 2008 Suburban they had on the lot. We are a family of 5, with the youngest being 2 months old. Upon arrival, David met me on the sales floor and immediately introduced himself and shook my hand. When I inquired about the particular vehicle I was interested in, he immediately knew of it and took me to their indoor inventory area and showed the vehicle. He had good insights into it and was very knowledgeable about its trim level and features. At this point I had been to other dealers, and it was past 8PM on a mid-week night. Without hesitation, and even though it was late and the Suburban was blocked in by several cars, he offered to let me have a test drive in it. His sales approach was very easy-going, just the kind that I like to be presented with. David and his sales manager worked to get me a good price and were very accomodating to my family (as you can imagine the kids were getting restless at this point since it was late and we had been looking at cars for hours). David stayed late past closing to work with me, and since the used car manager was gone for the day, offered to follow up with him the next day to get me a better price on the vehicle. He followed up with me mid-morning the next day with a great price. Ultimately, my wife and I decided on another type of vehicle, but I would not hesitate to recommend David to any friend, family member, or co-worker looking for a vehicle. This was one of the best experiences I've had in a dealership, and I've had several! 5-stars all around.

Both my husband and I had the most pleasant experience at Paramus Chevelot. From top manangement on down everyone seemed to enjoy their jobs which made our time we spent waiting a very nice and pleasant stay. We were impressed with their showroom and professionalism. I had priced a Cruze at Grand Prize Chevrolet and was offended with the trade in value they offered me for my 2007 Saturn Relay, and told them so. I came to Paramus Chevrolet which is about 20 someodd miles from where I live and I sat down with Kevin Hanley & Tim Tarrant and discussed the trade in value of my Relay van towards the purchase of a 2012 Cruze and was quite pleased that they did not insult my intelligents and came up with what I concidered a fair price. The price of the Cruze here was less than the price I was quoted at the Grand Prize dealership. All the employees here were very professional from the young ladies who greated me when I walked in to the salespersonal, the service manager and parts dept. My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting Mike Castoria, BDC Manager, and other dealer staff at the weekend, January Auto Show at Rockland Community College. Although we only intended to browse at the array of vehicles displayed, our attention was immediately grabbed by the Paramus Chevrolet Camaros on the exhibit floor. Mike Castoria's personable and knowledgeable assistance helped to make the purchase of what I would have considered a dream car into a reality. Mike made a connection with us and helped inform us regarding the features and available options for this eye catching vehicle. Thank you for making the shopping and purchase experience enjoyable parts of owning a fun, sporty car. We visited Paramus Chevrolet the following Monday to see Mike and purchase a Camaro. Linda and I were impressed with the inventory of Camaros to choose from at the dealer. Mr. Castoria referred us to a sales consultant, Peter Van Gunst, with whom he thought we would enjoy working. Peter accompanied us on a test drive of a Camaro and patiently explained the vehicle's operation. The salesman appeared genuinely concerned that both of us were comfortable with the Camaro's sports car feel. He then assisted us in selecting a car in stock with the options and colors that we wanted. Peter guided us through introductions to Paramus Chevrolet's financing and service staff. We were pleased to be offered a finance rate that was consistent with the lowest interest rate that I found on the web and lower that the rate available at our credit union. When Linda and I picked up our beautifully prepared midnight blue Camaro, the salesman, Peter Van Gunst, familiarized us with the electronic controls and helped us to set up our Onstar service. Peter also helped us to sync our cell phones to the bluetooth feature. Mike, Peter and the other Paramus Chevrolet staff that we met appeared to consistently make sure that we were pleased with both our new Camaro and our experience. Linda and I are satisfied owners of multiple General Motors cars and trucks over a period of almost 40 years. We were both pleased to establish a relationship with this dealer and staff.

As soon as we walked in the manager greeted us and walked us around, which was so different from the other dealerships, then he introduced us to Jon Beccari, which is a gem of a salesperson. He knew what we wanted to accomplish and steered us in the right direction. We highly recommend this dealership. The price was the best, and they stayed open later for us.

my 6 month old malibu experienced some problems so i went in to fix them and get an oil change. 2 of the 3 problems were corrected as soon as the parts were ordered, no hassles [power mirror,seatbelt]. the last problem was not addressed as they stated they were unaware that particular problem with the malibus [i told them the 17" tires are too low profile for the weight of the car, and after hitting 2 small potholes i bent 2 steel wheels within the first 500 miles plus the bolt on wheel covers were squeaking] nonetheless i am 100% happy with the service and people at Paramus Chevy.

The place is very friendly and all vehicles have a great price. I purchased the 2011 Black Malibu LTZ; 4 cyl but I could've went with 6 cyl with little more power. The car looks excellent with the black exterior, ebony leather interior and premium wheels. It feels luxury by looking at it but driving is a little lack of power. Overall is good.

He is a typical lying car salesman. I was leasing a truck for my business. I was told I could lease the truck and register it in my business name. Wrong . Lie # 1. I was told I could purchase more mileage through the lease company if I thought I would be going over. Wrong. Lie # 2 . I know I should have checked it out before I leased it but the typical sales pitch/pressure got the best of me. Lesson learned. DONT TRUST YOUR SALESMAN CHECK IT OUT YOURSELF!

Paramus Auto Mall has been the source for our Chevrolet service for several years. Hours of convenience, dependable service and most cooperative personnel have been the major determinants for driving the distance we do to engage their services for our vehicles. Local stations do not reach those levels of expectation. Currently in the market to turn-over our Equinox. As a GM retiree the pricing through the Family First plan appears to be in line with what Mr. Carey Lutz has been quoting. Mr. Lutz has been genuine and truthful in keeping us informed of unit availability, processes etc., while being helpful in responding to questions that have arisen. Paramus Auto sales approach appears to be another successfully grounded area of public communication regarding Chevrolet products. We look forward to future dealings with Mr. Lutz and continuous dealings with the informative service department personnel.

My husband just got out of the Marine Corps and needless to say, our income took a huge hit. Add to that the fact that we moved from NC to NJ and I had to leave my job, and you can understand that making ends meet was very difficult. We really care about our credit rating and knew we could not continue making 2 car payments so we needed to trade both cars in for one. Bill Mann made it happen. We were upside down on both vehicles and though it would be impossible to do, but he got it done! He put us into a BEAUTIFUL Malibu which works great for my family of 4. ONCE I DECIDED TO WORK WITH ANOTHER SALESMAN THE PREVIOUS ONE BEGAN TO GIVE ME AN ATTITUDE AND WAS BEING RUDE, HE WOULDNT EVEN ANSWER QUESTIONS AND JUST TALKED BEHIND MY BACK TO THE OTHER EMPLOYEES. After having a bad experience with a nearby Chevy dealer, I was contacted by Lynne regarding an internet quote I received. I was assisted by Christian for pricing and a test drive. Very courteous and professional was my overall impression. Christian let me see the preferred price available to me with the GM Supplier Discount and explained any differences from what I expected. They also gave a fair price for my trade-in without any haggling. I ultimately bought a Nissan but would not hesitate to visit them if I am in the market for a Chevy.

My wife and I had done a lot of research before we finally decided to buy a new Chevy Equinox. We actually called the dealership ahead of time with some questions that they easily answered and then we were able to tell them exactly what we were looking for. They found the car we wanted and made the process of buying a new car extremely painless. We felt listened to and appreciated, and certainly not taken advantage of like we had at other dealerships in the past. They were able to work with us on price and financing and made the entire experience easy. Bill even sat with us and helped us sync up the electronics in the new car to our smart phones and explained all the different systems. dropped of my new camato ss to have rear facia bumper fixed not put on right from factory none problem. they call me say its done i go to pic it up they tell me it was caused by hitting somthing and thers a dimple in it witch was not there when i dropped it off it is from the inside out behind bumper bracket theres no way even if rock kicked up it wouldnt do that . they pushed in to hard and made dimple now blaming me i no every inch of this car and wipe and wax everyday that was not there and if i did hit somthing why would they warranty it and now the bumper is pinned against rear 1/4 panel and paint is chipping of stay away from this dealer go somwhere ese for warranty work horrible

I am a repeat customer. I purchased my 2002 Suberban at Paramus Auto Mall & was alwayes treated with resepect, I never felt rushed. So, it's been 9 years and as much as loved the Suburban - it was time for a new car ( i loved my suburban ). Both Jack Fisher & Carey Lutz helped me transition to my Equinox - painlessly and quickly. Even the receptionist was kind to me as. I walked in the dealership owning a 2002 Suburban and left the same day with my new car that I love. I plan on using the Service Paramus Auto Mall for the maintinance as i did with the suburban - The Service Department was always very accomodating. They listened to my imitation of some of the noises i heard the car make - and didnt look at me like i was nuts....props to them as well. Overall - I would recommend this dealership to anyone who asks for my opinion.

I was looking for hummer h3, that is why I went there, they were very knowledgeable about hummers. I did some research on hummers and found them to be the best to deal with. Mr. Tarrant was knew everything about hummers, he apparently trained with them and this was very helpful, even though I would probably not use it for everything, it was good to know. After shopping numerous dealerships for my new 2011 Traverse, I visited Paramus Chevrolet. I was warmly greeted by the front desk staff and David Ricz. He was very friendly and courteous. He took me to take a look at the selection of Traverse's and explained the different models and asked me what I was looking for in the car to determine which model would fit me best. He never pushed me to the "fully loaded" models, but actually helped me figure out what would work best for me. After viewing the several different models, I took one for a test drive and loved it. David did his best to get me the montly payment that worked within my budget and I was thrilled with the great deal!!! The sales manager, Tim Tarrant, was also involved with the process and was very helpful, friendly, and willing to make the best deal possible. We picked up our car the next day and it was shiny and ready to go!! We are 100% pleased with the service and price at this dealership and will return. Its nice to see a dealership with people who actually CARE about giving you what you want for the best price unlike most Chevy dealerships in the area. This is an AWFUL dealership mostly because the cars they sell are American made and very poorly designed, built and maintained by their Corporate Engineers.Stay clear of the 2008 Chevy Mailbu LTZ because it is a Lemon. From day one with their deceitful sales practices and their lack of quality built vehicles, one is better served by purchasing/leasing a Japanese brand or other make.UPDATE August 17, 2011.Traded my car in 2 weeks ago and I am thrilled to be Chevrolet/GM FREE!!!

I was extremely impressed with prompt response I received from Carey after emailing the dealership for some info regarding my lease emd in March fpr my jaguar. I used to be in the auto industry in Calif & so I know how important it is for the salesmen to get the customer into the showroom but when I explaines my sitluation, Carey didn't pressure like another dealer. He gave me my info & them about a couple days later he called me to follow up. He was the only salesman out of 4 other dealerships who did call & was very comfortable to talk to without all that high pressure sales talk. He listened which is so important. I did & he would answer my questions. As a result I will definitely be going in to see him in person. I was planning on going back to Manhattan Auto Mall where I purchased my Jaguar but now I am not so sure. I saw the Chevy SUV on TV & that was what prompted me to email Paramus. No dealer on Long Island wanted to talk about an Equinox V6 with us. So, we called paramus Chevrolet and asked if they had one in stock to let us test and Bill said to come on in. When we got there Bill was busy with another client so John helped us. The V6 they had was on the floor. They opened the doors and moved the car into the lot and we went for a drive on the highways and side roads. We got back to the dealership and started talking deal. They took a look at our trade and gace us $4500 more than they offered us at a long Island dealership and $6000 more than Edmunds said we would get from a dealer. The Equinox had more stuff in it than we would have ordered but the total price with the trade and ALL those annoying fees and charges came to $3000.oo less than we estimated.We were thrilled. We hadn't been prepared to actually take delivery the same day but they worked it out with the plate transfer and the insurance and we just drove home in our new car.There's an awful lot of paperwork to sort through and the dealership itself is a busy one, but while I was busy signing papers with Bill John was in the car with my daughter showing her the features and helping her set up bluetooth, OnStar, radio stations and making sure she knew where everything was. That saved us a bunch of time. All in all it was a great experience.

Contacted this dealer twice about a vehicle over the internet. Last time, submitted a credit report, and the dealer never got back to me about the report. Living close, I should have gone up there in person and requested info, but will not go int a place that does not respond to customers. Internet salesperson made an offer but the offer was about $700 less on the down payment than I could do. Dealer wasn't willing, on 2 occasions, to take money offered to them. Living in north jersey all my life, and wanting to business with a hometown dealer, this hometown boy was actually quite disappointed with the way business was handled over the internet. There are only 2 other chevy dealers in Bergen County; they probably aren't great, but I will explore them just because of the way I was treated at Paramus.

Everyone at the dealership was very friendly and provided all the information I needed. They went to another location to bring back a car that was in the color I wanted, since they did not have one on their lot. The entire process from first visit to purchase to return trip to pick up my plates was very easy. I never felt pressured!!

We have been dealing with this dealership for 25years or so. We have never had a problem with buying or repairs. Everyone is always helpful. They call back when they say they will and are always willing to help get your car in as soon as possible. I highly recommend them for sales and repairs. I feel they will go the extra mile when making a deal for a trade in and we have also had experience with used cars and they have always stood behind their agreement.Dealing for 25years and l5 cars later speaks for itself. After going through 3 dealerships in my area and wasting my time waiting for quotes that were too high and arguing over not wanting to pay for the dealer add-ons, I decided to look elsewhere. Paramus Chevy is located about 35 miles away so I asked them if they could quote me a good per month lease price over the phone. I was surprised that they were willing to do that (on black friday no less). After a few conversations from the comfort of my home, we agreed on a price. Actually, I gave them a price and they were willing to work with that.Upon arrival at the dealership, all of the paperwork was ready to go. All I had to do was sign it and drive away with my new car. I thought dropping off a leased car would be a pain, but all I did was park it and they did the rest.Also, amazingly enough, I didn't notice any dealer add-ons which is a rare find these days and which is why I was able to negotiate a price no other dealer was willing to agree to. They were just selling the car that was delivered. That's it.Another rare find is a dealership that sends personal emails vs. the canned garbage that I received from other dealerships. I had sent a quote request to Paramus the night before Thanksgiving and received a personal reply on Thanksgiving from a real person (who apparently works 24/7) and not from a generated message.Overall, a great unexpected experience and very friendly atmosphere. If I'm in the market for a Chevy 3 years from now, I'll probably just save the hassle and call Paramus Chevy first. The drive is worth it!

well you heard about the miracle on 34t st,i have just experienced the miracle on rte 17 north at the paramus auto mall.It was black friday when I arrived their in a mental state prepared to do battle with the stereotypical car salesman at the stereotypicalcar dealership anxious,on guard and determined to outwit him.I approached the entrance and viewed two salesman waiting to pounce on their next victim,me! but to my surprise no one did.I was allowed to walk around the showroom look at the vehiclesundisturbed and when i was ready found Bill and set in motion the most pleasurable carpurchase ever.No pressure at all the anxiety began to melt away as the minutes ticked by and the experience became simple relaxing,enjoyable.we began to explore what i wanted in a vehicle and what was the best for me, what i was looking for not what Bill wanted to sell me i decided on a chevy cruz we took it for a test ride and i was blown away by the vehicle, on our way back it was time to negotiate i waited for the words we all are familiar with lets talk to the manager the old anxiety returns and im introduced to RJ mann "the manager" now let me just say if you are in the market to purchase a new,used,or whatever see the Mann brothers or any other sales person who has been trained by Mann himself rj looked at me and said where do you need to be to make this happen for you i gave him my numbers and he had several options for me to choose from and was in a black granite metalic turbocharged 2011 cruz 1Lt it was during my conversation with rj that I discovered his philosphy just make people happy with the whole vehicle purchase procedure,when they come to my store thats what we allstrive for make the customer happy well sir congradulations i love my new car.

I have owned Chevy vehicles for most of my life and had experiences with several dealerships. After buying at Paramus Chevy I can honestly say I have stopped wasting my time "shopping around". From my very first experience at Paramus Chevy, I felt the salespeople were well versed, extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. I have been back several times to purchase vehicles after my first experience and intend on returning in the future. Not only is the sales department great but the service department is also a pleasure with which to deal. No matter what questions I have had over the years, the staff has always been eager to provide me with the information I need. I would whole-heartedly recommend Paramus Cheverolet to anyone in the market for a car. It is dealerships like Paramus Chevy that make the car buying experience pleasureable.

This dealership is full of dis-respectfull people. They were racist. At first they gave the price no one could meet/beat than when I got there, they tried to make up the difference through finance rate. I took the car than they harrassed me ALL day with phone calls. I now know why GM is going out of business and one of the BIGGEST reason is dealers like Paramus Chevy.I would warn any one that's looking to deal with them, there stories and prices change faster than weather.
