In August we purchased a very low mileage 2001 Sierra. It was a pristine used truck. We took it on our first trip with the trailer and the engine consumed 4 qts of oil. It has since required a total engine rebuild. Keith Richardson and Jim Parker came to our rescue. The vehicle was purchased AS IS, with no warranty, but they did the stand up thing and helped us greatly with the repair bill. I don't know very many dealerships that would not just tell you - SORRY for your trouble. Thank you Parker Toyota for your help.

Parker has issues. They would not put the time in to diagnose my car properly. I explained the noise i was hearing...and instead replaced the drive shaft when all along it was my tranny. They did not care enough about my safety to go one step further and not replace something that was not the problem. True, another mechanic misdiagnosed the problem to begin with... but any reputable service dept would not have kept my car 3 weeks...sending it out to have the wrong parts rebuilt, without also checking it out first themselves except Parker. They are nice in the first place but then when a person questions them...they never admit wrongdoing....and now have asked me not to return.

Overall our experience was great. The salesman was patient with me as I compared cars. He was great at letting me test drive all available models to decide what I wanted. We had a little difficulty getting the price we wanted, but we were able to come to a fair deal. The paperwork signing was rushed and we just about walked out without paying our down. Our salesman took the time to help me familiarize myself with the car before turning me loose, which was great.

My experience at Parker Toyota today was very positive. Went in looking for a used 4Runner, that I can pull a small camping trailer with. They had 3 or 4, but didn't try selling me more than I wanted or needed. It was a no pressure sale, which I liked very much. So, thank you Kurt Smith. I would recommend this dealership to a friend. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of being straight forward on the extended warranty I purchased. They first tried to just sell it by including it in the price of the payment instead of just telling me up front how much it was. I had been taken Previously by another dealership, so was very careful to make sure I knew the bottom line cost of it. In the end, I think I got a good deal on the car and a great warranty for the price. So thanks again.

My husband called Parker Toyota this morning told them what we had and what we wanted, and also that our lease wasn't up for about 7 months or so. They told him to come on in and they would see what they could do for us. When we arrived there we were greeted at the door and started helping us. After asking a couple of questions we were soon some different cars when I had found one that I really liked. we had gone back inside to talk about what our options were. Let just say I didn't think I was ready for a new car, but with in and hour/hour and half we were on our way with a new Camry. I had been shopping online for about a month for a pre-owned Tundra. I found one that caught my eye with low mileage and a fair price. I clicked on the dealer contact tab and received a call within minutes. I scheduled an appointment for 10:00 on Sunday right when they were opening. My wife and I were about 15 minutes early so we figured we would just look around the lot till they opened. Jeremiah was right there even though they were not open yet, he greeted us, then went and brought the truck up for us to test drive. We watched a playoff basketball game while we did the paperwork. Very laid back yet extremely quick and professional. They synced up my phone to the truck for me and we were on the road. I left with a smile on my face, not only was I getting a quality truck, but there were quality people to back it up. Thank you Parker Toyota.

I just went into Parker Toyota today to look at a few cars and was not planning on buying. I was meet on the lot by a sales lady (Tami Scott), and she showed me around. I was really glad to see such a range of selections as I was not sure what car I wanted. After looking at gas mileage, features, comfort and style I narrowed it down to a Toyota 4 Runner. The next step was to determine if I wanted new or used. Tami had both the patience and the wisdom to guide me down the road to success. I weighed my options and decided on a 2012 with 5 years or 60k miles full coverage. I wanted to take this moment to thank Tami Scott for her dillegence and for not putting any pressure on the decision process. Well done!

The sales person called to let me know that the pickup I had ordered had arrived and we made an appointment to take delivery. The sales staff were great but the business agent or someone else behind closed doors made the delivery difficult and what should have taken less than 30 minutes took about 3 hours. There were no problems and the ordeal could have been avoided. Driving home in a new vehicle should be a happy occasion, not a stressful one.

I had been dreading buying a different car for months. My last car I had bought from Parker Toyota 5 years ago and it NEVER broke down on me, not once and it was 16 years old. But it was starting to nickle and dime me to death. So it was time..... I started out by dealing with Daniel, kind of by fluke, he wasn't a salesman but I felt comfortable with him and he had no problem fulfilling my request to stick by my side through the process. He then professionally passed me over to Steve Lee. I have to admit, I am not the easiest customer in the world. I am impatient and picky to say the least. Both of these gentlemen went so far out of their way to let me express what it was that I wanted, didn't want, willing to be with and without etc. They went way up and beyond what they had to. to get me into a, what turned out to be, a brand new car!! Which I never imagined in my wildest dreams that I would EVER be able to afford something like that. I asked for a certain payment, thinking it was a far stretch as it was and that is exactly what a got. It was even a little less I went from not being able to get financed for a 2012 to driving home a 2016 Scion!!!!!! I will NEVER be able to say thank you enough to Steve Lee and Daniel!!!! They were a true blessing in my eyes!! THANK YOU SOOOOOO VERY MUCH!!

I have bought a lot of cars and this was the first time I have ever liked a salesman. His name is Tony and he was the nicest salesman I have ever met. He spent most of the extra time entertaining my 10yr old daughter. She actually said that she didn't want to leave after we were done. The only thing I didn't like was the hard negotiations by the finance guy. I almost feel like they would have rather had me leave than to come down in price a little bit.

The only think I would say is that when you are trying to negotiate with the salesman and he says that he will get you a good deal means he will have you paying full price for everything. So make sure you have your guard up. It happen to me here. If I wasn't in such a hurry because of going out of town I might have bargained better. The vehicle was great and the salesman was nice.

I wasn't planning on buying a vehicle the night I went in. I was just going to check out some options of what I might want. Gary showed me three vehicles that were in my price range and I fell in love with the second vehicle I drove and let me drive it a second time to make sure. I ended up buying it that night, no pressure from Gary at all--I just couldn't imagine someone else buying this car before me. From start to finish, I was only there for less than two hours (including financing!) I love my 2008 Acura MDX! When I was out of power for 4 days, I sat in my car and watched movies on my DVD player in the back seat. :) I would recommend asking for Gary when going to Parker Toyota and looking for a car. He was professional, kind, and honest. He is a HUGE asset to this dealership.

My entire family has purchased vehicles from Parker (my Mom, brother, two sisters, nieces and nephews) and I have been the only holdout, until today. I went in not expecting that they would be able to help me since my credit isn't perfect. I was amazed at how easy they made the entire process. I never felt pressured and only felt like they were really going the extra mile to help. I wound up with a beautiful Jeep that was basically brand new (with only 6,000 miles on the odometer) and they got my payments $50 a month lower than what I was planning to pay. I totally understand why my family comes back again and again to buy their cars here. They really took great care of me, understood my needs, and met or exceeded every one. Yesterday we bought our first car from Parker Toyota. My husband and I told ourselves that after we saw the way this organization reaches out to the kids in our community we needed to buy from people like this. 3 yrs. ago our daughter was awarded a bike for perfect attendance from Parker Toyota. Our daughter had no intensions of keeping her bike because she wanted to give it to a child in need. Once Mr. Parker got wind of this they decided to give Ryleigh an extra bike for herself as well. We were shocked at the generosity and comradery of this staff. After having several friends and family members buy from Parker Toyota, we decided it was our turn. We were faced with the challenge of a "not so great" trade in situation. Generally we buy a new car every 2-3 years so 1.5 yrs. ago we decided to roll the dice and try a new Kia. After realizing this car was not a good fit for our family we decided to take it back to the dealership we purchased it from less than 18 mo. prior. With no interest in wanting to work with our situation of large depreciation we thought we would see what Parker had to offer. Not only did they make a bad situation easy to deal with, our salesman Nick & Jeremiah were top notch. They were so patient with us and answered all our questions in detail and made sure every item was taken care of. I will look forward to my next purchase with them in a few years and will tell all my friends, family, and clients to check them out for future vehicle purchases.

We had a great experience overall with the entire staff. Our salesman Alan Sanlin was not pushy nor agressive. We had a title issue to work thru, most dealerships would have just stated to "fix the title issue" and come back when it's done. Alan worked hard to assure that we closed the deal even with the issue we had. I would recommend Alan and Parker to anyone buying a new or used rig.

I've been a customer of Parker Toyota since 1983. I have purchased some 24 cars the latest, a 2015 Toyota Tacoma 4 cyl 4X4. Walking in the dealership you step into a spotless dealership whose only job is to make you happy. I know there are folks out there you couldn't please with a million dollars and a new Lexus. However those folks usually have an Obama sticker on their trade in. My experience was 1st Class and I was treated like Royalty by Tami Scott and the rest of the sales staff. Treated 1st Class buying a 1st class truck!

DISHONEST, WASTE OF TIME, SKETCHY, SHADY...and the list goes on. First, if you see a car there you may want to check out, you better have 4 to 6 hours and expect to pay double for something that will not be a sound, reliable vehicle. Second, don't expect an honest amount for your trade. And third, watch closely when they start throwing around numbers, they don't add up and they will steal from you. And fourth, be careful when they sell you a warranty, you won't get what you pay for or what they're telling you your getting. And lastly, they actually advised us to take our current vehicle, our trade, back to our current lender and turn it in for repossession. As I understand, this is highly illegal for them to advise this. DO NOT DO BUSSINESS WITH PARKER TOYOTA!!!

After researching online inventories of Rav4's in the Spokane Valley, I drove from Montana to make a purchase. I specifically picked out 4 or 5 vehicle's to look at and drive. You won't be disappointment shopping at Parker Toyota. This was my first stop of the day. Mike Austin showed me the Rav4 I had picked out online. Took the test drive, had my vehicle appraised but then left to shop a few other dealers. Guess what, I ended up back at Parker Toyota. I explained to Mark "Coach" Halverson that our deal was very close and I would like to make the purchase. He really went to bat (no pun intended "Coach" ) and worked out a deal with the management. Wow, deal completed and Kyle Hephner made the paperwork a cinch, Thanks Kyle! The "Coach" then filled up the gas tank of my new RAV4, gave a ROSE to my sister and I before we headed back to Montana. I really have nothing bad to say about this suv purchase. You all made it a pleasurable experience. I just wish I wouldn't have left your lot in the first place. Great Auto Dealership 5 star all the way!

I told them I was pre approved then they pulled my credit 4 time and there was no need to do as I was already pre approved. The they said the pay off on the trade in was $700.00 more and they were wrong and then they came back with a higher intrest rate and they were wrong there to. I had to call and give them the right pay off. they did so many thing wrong I will never go back there.

Parker Toyota has sold us 4 Tundra's since 2008. We cannot say enough good words on how we have been treated from our first walk through the door to all we have done in-between. We have told many there at Parker and especially Allen, to us the best salesman EVER!!! , that we wish the Toyota dealership in Kalispell, Montana would come and be trained at Parker! Have had numerous times in Kalispell that we have not been happy and last week basically was the worst turn off yet! Since it is closer to us, we usually go there to have our rigs serviced. I went to Parker Toyota in CDA, Idaho a little over a week ago. When I first got there, my salesman, Duane, was helpful and friendly enough, but it was obvious he just wanted to get me into a car and get me to leave. I picked a car that I liked, a Pontiac Vibe. I made it clear to Duane that I didn't have much of a down payment, as I am single and I pay all of my own bills. He managed to leech some money out of me, and I told him that I could pay the other half of the down payment on May 8th. he said that was perfectly okay, but that I would have to leave a hold check at the dealership, but to date it for May 8th. I did that and left my check and drove my new car home, thinking that my experience had been pretty good and the reviews I'd read on the web weren't true. Boy, was I wrong. The VERY next day, they cashed my check. The money they took was my rent money, and when I called to ask for it back, they said I would have to give them ANOTHER check to hold until the 8th. I said I didn't trust them after the stunt they had pulled with my first check, and that if they would send my money back to me so I could pay my rent, I would gladly send them a check for the rest of my down payment on May 8th. The account person, Sonia, transferred me to Julie, who I'm guessing was her boss. Julie told me the same thing, I can't have my rent money back unless I give them a second check for the down payment. I made it very clear that I had every intention of paying the rest of my down payment, but I did not feel comfortable letting them have a check before the 8th because they had screwed me over the first time. Julie got extremely rude to me and told me I flat out could not have my money back. These people are slimy salespeople that have absolutely no care for the happiness and wellbeing of their customers. They broke my trust, stole my rent money and now I can't pay my rent on the 1st. If you value your bank account and you want to buy a car from a dealership that you can trust, DO NOT GO TO PARKER TOYOTA. They will lie to take your money and they won't care about what happens to you in the aftermath.

Over the phone, one of the salesmen made an appointment for my husband and I too look at some trucks. We live in Pullman so this was a little trip. Then the salesman was not there., The person helping us would not tell us what their inventory was. Instead we sat and filled out a bunch of paperwork. After awhile my son in law ask them to show us some trucks which, while we were doing paperwork, were told they had several. After the paperwork was finished the salesman admitted to having one truck for us to look at. and he would get it. Everyone was running around like a bunch of monkeys. Then they admitted they could not find the key. We left the scene.

Parker Toyota got me exactly the Tundra I wanted. The other dealership I dealt with did not offer to find me the Tundra with the interior color I wanted. But the best part was the no-hassle pricing. While another dealer set a high price in the negotiations and then played the stupid game of saying that they were on my side and would go to management to fight for me, Parker Toyota told me beforehand how they would price the vehicle and it came out over $1,000 lower than what I figured would be my bottom line. And their price was over $4,000 below the other dealership's out-the-door price.

Parker Toyota pulled back on a deal for a certified pre-owned vehicle. After offering me a price in negotiations, they retracted it. Then, they called me back to apologize and said they'd make good on it. Then they called to say I shouldn't come out right away...someone else was test driving the car. In the end, Parker Toyota sold the car out from under me to someone who probably agreed to pay more in negotiations even after they had twice offered it to me at a price we negotiated. I don't trust Parker Toyota.

I have been buying things for fifty years, and never had anything to compare to Parker Toyota........... I did purchase a new truck there ...... and after my sales man told me it would be a couple of days before they could get my truck from Montana......... it was two weeks and I called back down......... my sales person was out, but a lady in the office told me my truck was in Texas and would be a while......... another week and my sales man contacts me and says he had been leaving messages at the wrong number........ just a human mistake....... almost every contact made with Parker was made by me........ when we finally do get the vehicle and I give them thirty five thousand dollars my sales man ask me to fill out the service evaluation and he bought or at least gave me a toyota cap........... I let him fill out the best answer in all categorys....... and I drove my truck home. about a month later I receive a quarry...........I thought it was from toyota company not Parker.......... so I simply told them what happened........... I heard nothing........... but when I went back to parker toyota........ the sales man come running accross the parking area and was mad.... said I ruined his life and he wished I had bought a Ford............ he then called me a low life, and understood why my girl friend did not like me...... and other not very nice things......... I ask him if I had told any one a lie about him and he said no, but he had bought me a cap....... and I should have given him a better report............. At first I felt sorry for this guy...................and did not want to say anything to any one............... but I am now looking at buying another vehicle............. and even though I have driven toyota for many years............. I am looking at dodge or ford............ I am ashamed to go back to parker.............. great service department.............. but my sales man did not act like their was anyone called Parker connected with his dealership............. I received letters of appreciation from other dealers I had visited, but did not buy............... but never any communication from parker (other than service) since the purchase....... I recieved a phone call from some one their that told me they did not have an address for me........... and had been looking for me............ and following that call received a brown envelope with a bunch of miscellaneous papers, but nothing after that....

My wife and I worked with Paul Spraetz. Typical car dealership back and forth games. We finally reached an agreement and despite our Excellent credit we were told we'd have to wait for Toyota approval because we were rolling negative equity into our new Prius lease and nobody was present at Toyota Financial because of the holiday weekend. What a disappointment! This is one of the biggest sales of the year and Toyota Financial isn't appropriately staffed?!? The part that bothers me: Paul Spraetz never took accountability for writing a deal that he knew couldn't/wouldn't be approved. Paul Spraetz knew about our negative equity from the very beginning (we wouldn't have so much negative equity if Parker Toyota would not low-ball trade-ins!). Paul Spraetz never said he was sorry and then got angry with us when we were obviously disappointed after wasting the bulk of our holiday weekend. Parker Toyota is just like any other car dealership! Games, nonsense, and double-talk. We trusted Paul Spraetz, but obviously we should have been more careful where we placed our trust because he didn't deserve it!

Prices are not competitive. Typical Sales person run around. Not knowledgeable about products and selection is not great. car dealers are notorious for poor satisfaction ratings but in a small town I would think we could do better. I will buy elsewhere in the future and have. The not too far away dealer was easy and cost savings was well worth the drive. Facility was not as fancy and I have never seen a commercial with a dog from the other dealer. I guess that adds to the costs. Really hope they can do better. I like are small town businesses and try to support whenever possible. Straight up dealings next time guys! Good luck to Parker.

I bought a used car for my son to use who is working out of state and his car is worn out. The car I chose was priced way over blue book but was in good condition with low miles. Alan (my salesman) and I decided on a price and interest rate I could accept and I was taken to Troy in the business office. There I was told I would probably have to use in-house financing at a higher rate since the car was over book and the banks probably wouldn't finance at the higher price. I agreed and decided to pay it off quickly. I also work out of state, getting home every 3 weeks. I spent the last day home licensing, registering and insuring the car. A couple of days later Troy calls and says we need to put my son's name on the contract since he will be taking it out of state. I was instantly mad! As a former sociology and social problems teacher, my first thought was "gender bias." I asked what difference it made as long as it was in my name and I am paying for it? He said that is their rules. I told him 'fine, when I get home in 3 weeks I will borrow the money from my bank and pay the car off then they won't have to do business with me at all.' After I calmed down, I talked to my son and he said he would like to put his name on the contract to help him build credit so I agreed. A couple of days later my salesman, Alan, called to see if everything was going well and if my son had picked up the car yet. I told him everything was fine and that my son would come get the car in a couple of weeks when I get home. Then the next night another son who was at my house called me to say they had come out and repossessed the car. I was dumbfounded! I called in the morning to speak to a manager and when I got one, whose name I don't remember, I started to explain why I called and was told he already knew about this "parade" and I needed to speak to Troy. I told Troy I wanted to car back and would agree to put my son's name on it. He said they would need a substantial downpayment like $2000 first and I said that was fine; I could do that. Then he said he had to talk to the credit dept and would get back to me. When I hadn't heard from him by late afternoon, I called back and Troy told me that he talked to Mary in the credit dept. and they decided not to return the car to me and were cancelling the contract. I asked Troy if all the guys that go in there to buy a car get told what they can do with it or where they can or cannot take it. He said they do if they use in-house financing. I doubt that or nobody would buy from them. What a miserable and disappointing experience. SHAME ON YOU, PARKER TOYOTA!! I have done business in the past with Dan Barton, Robidoux, bought 2 new cars from Knudsen and most recently I bought a new Challenger from Dave Smith (whose people were all courteous and a pleasure to do business with). I wish I had read all the reviews before I went to Parker. If anyone ever asks my advice, I will tell them to run as fast as they can to any other car dealer. The only really good thing I can say about Parker is that I like the dogs in the commercials.

Worst car buying experience of my life. Salesman was extremely pushing trying to cram a used vehicle down my throat when I specifically requested a new Tocoma. They did not have what I wanted, so they tried to sell me a truck that was on order. Luckily, they did not except my offer and pretty much told me to F.O. as they did not need my business. They would not deal on the truck. I immediatley looked in the Spokesman review and found an ad for the same exact truck from Appleway Toyota. This add had the truck for a $1000 less than they would sell it to me at Parker. However, this vehicle was a base level trim, not the SR5 trim I wanted, so I did not buy it.To summarize, Parker tried to sell me a truck they did not have and that did not have the options package (SR5) I specifically requested. The guy down the street had an apples to apples comparison truck for $1000 less. And to top it off, the salesman told me I was being pissy and cheap.Not sure what happened to Parker Toyota. I bought a Camry from them 12 years ago and it was a wonderful experience.

so, parker has their own "credit program" through the dealership. i thought, finally, a chance to get a newer car then my '96. with a motto of "no problem", THEY ARE LIARS!!! i went through all the paperwork, sitting there in their run down brick building used for us poor shelbs, listening to the dealer tell me over and over "how, with my situation, HE would, in his words, be paying ME to take a piece of crap car off their hands". IF YOU GO HERE, WITH NO CASH UP FRONT OR NO TRADE IN, EXPECT TO BE TREATED LIKE DIRT!!! DO NOT USE PARKER TOYOTA!!!!

Initially purchased truck at Parker and their detailer damaged the truck bed and were unwilling to repair until the issue was forced.Subsequent attempts to purchase vehicles at Parker are met with stubborn intractability in terms of matching other toyota dealer prices on new cars.Chris Baker keeps a creepy customer file on past clients and brings up those previous interactions during negotiations. Weird kind of controlling manipulative behavior.Sales people in the lot are fairly negative with regards to their opinions of Chris Baker and are very vocal about upper managements elevation of Chris Baker.I will say that their service dept. is top notch for repairs etc. All in all I have never recommended Parker and have many friends that have similar optionions of them. I guess they think they are the only Toyota dealer going in North Idaho but greed has a new name, and thy name is Parker.

I had repairs completed on my 2004 Toyota Tacoma during the last week of July. I was on a road trip from Northern California to Sandpoint when it became apparent that the service work I had done in Chico (timing belt, water pump, etc) had not been completed correctly. Greg Martin and the guys in service were able to get my truck in for repairs despite the extremely busy schedule they had for the next three days. Greg even called me on his day off to inform me what was going on with my Tacoma. And I was able to rent a RAV4 at a great price at last minutes notice. Seriously, Parker Toyota helped save my vacation and were instrumental in helping me recover costs from the dealership that had improperly installed the timing belt. Thank you very much for a job well done. I have many friends in the Sandpoint area and they all have heard about the professionalism, great service, and, well, downright nice folks that work at Parker Toyota.

Have had service done on my 1994 4 runner. This vehicle is now just about in new condition. The prices are less than in Spokane, the waiting room is very nice, and the service people (Ron) are excellent. Really have lots of respect for these people, and the prices are reasonable.
