I contacted them via online and was dealt with a barrage of impersonal and inconsistent messages. First question i asked was whether the recalls were completed and the subsequent messages i got (from 3 separate names) made no reference to the inquiry and only showed interest in when would i come in for a test drive appointment. seemed the interest was in selling a car, rather than customer service.too bad, i was hot on the car listed online.

This dealership deals with numbers not people. I called the dealership to find out if they had a Outback limited available. The salesman was friendly enough but after 1/2 of talking to him he figured out that in fact there were none in stock. I received a follow up phone call from their follow up desk. The guy that called was overly familiar and hung up on me when I told him that I was not satisfied in fact. There are plenty of dealerships that want and appreciate your business. Paul Miller is not one of them in my opinion. The people at Victory Subaru are terrific and polite. Ask for Carlos at Victory.

First, I would like to say how amazing this dealership is. My husband, my son and I walked into this Subaru dealership and met the most patient and sincere gentleman named Ingram Lewis. Ingram took good care of us and all of the questions we had. He took us out to test drive 2 vehicles and our son chose the Subaru Crosstrek. Ingram took care of us and everything was done the same day and we walked out of the dealership with the new car. This was the first time, and I mean it the first time that buying a car was a pleasant experience. Thank you to the Paul Miller Subaru in Parsippany for taking such good care of us. Salesman was responsive to any questions we put to him and did not just say anything to make the sale! He was not obnoxious or condescending which is rare in this business. Since we ordered the car we appreciated the weekly notifications to update us on it's status. In other words, in our estimation Carlos was the perfect fit salesmen for our needs!! He understood what we wanted and did what it takes to not only make us happy but to make this Subaru dealership look good. Bottom line: He was the game breaker between three dealerships we visited!! And add to that, we even like the car :-)

From the moment I decided that I wanted a Subaru WRX the dealership did everything they could to make it happen. There were no cars in stock so my salesperson drove all the was to Hartford, Connecticut to pick it up for me! The eyesight technology gives their cars a second pair of eyes which is always great to have. Traffic is no longer tedious with the automatic cruise control! All I have to do is steer and that's it! (I always have my foot by the brake for safe measure). If you want a safe car at a reasonable price look no further than Paul Miller Subaru. I highly recommend using a man named Javier to make your purchase with.

I recently purchased a car from them. The customer service was great. The staffs were friendly. However, there was something wrong with the car that I had to bring it back for a repair. Not only that they wouldn't lend me a car to drive back but also, they said the repair would be one day only, turns out to be one week. They have done this to me TWICE already. One day --> One week. I hope they can improve this. Other than that, everything was great.

My husband and I purchased a Subaru Outback from your dealership. Sharon Coppola helped us with our purchase. She was terrific!! We appreciated her professionalism, honesty, thoroughness in her explanations, integrity, patience with our questions, understanding, and knowledge of her cars. She is very busy, yet we received her full attention when we were with her. It did not seem like the traditional experience we have had purchasing cars. Usually it seems like the dealer is trying to make it seem like we are getting the best deal, even though we know we aren't. Sharon was great to work with. We didn't have to negotiate anything. She just gave us a good, fair price. I know picking out the color is really a way to influence buyers. I explained my job (a school nurse in an urban district) and how my students know I have a red car. Sharon encouraged me to get another red car. She was right. I feel comfortable driving the same color car, and I hope my students get to know that I have another red car. Furthermore, when we picked up the car, Sharon seemed so excited for us. She really made our experience purchasing our Outback feel special. From the first phone call to when we actually picked up our new Subaru, I was treated with respect, all my phone calls and emails were answered in a timely manner and this experience will definitely change my mind about your typical car salesperson! The dealership was clean, bright and cheerful and how very nice to be greeted with a smiled when we walked in the door. We found a very minor problem with the car (the rear view mirror was loose) and by the time we finished signing all the paperwork the mirror had been fixed! Our salesman, Jim Scott Jr was great and even the financial gentleman made the procedure fairly "painless"!I will be needing another new car in the not too distant future and will not hesitate to make Paul Miller my first and I'm sure only stop (and it's almost 40 mins away!)Just as a side note, my daughter had gone to a dealership in Pittsfield Ma where the salesperson was vulgar and treated her with disrespect. Since she didn't have the time or stomach to go to another dealer I started looking for her.She is currently living in Ma and wasn't with us when we picked up her car. Mr Scott offered to FaceTime with her anytime she had questions about the car!

When I started looking for a new Subaru I went to three different Subaru dealerships and Paul Miller offered me the best trade in on my old car. Each of the people I worked with was courteous, efficient, and had a comprehensive knowledge of both the workings of the Forester and the processes necessary to make the purchase. The individual who explained how to use the navigation system and other settings within the car was very patient, and reviewed certain things more than once to be sure that I understood them. My appointment was for the first oil change and a recall/reprogramming of software for the Forester. I was very pleased that it was done in less than an hour. Also, the CSR helped me with reloading my iphone settings (e.g. Pandora, etc.) which was wiped out during the software reprogramming.

I stopped by Paul Miller Subaru for an Express Oil Change. No appointment needed! Just drove up and was helped immediately by my Service Advisor, Alison K. Alison was very polite and professional, wrote up my order and kept me informed along the way. The technicians performed my oil change, a safety inspections and then I was offered and accepted a free car wash. I was in and out within about 30 to 40 minutes. Overall very satisfied with my service experience and will certainly be back and recommend to other Subaru owners!

I had a battery with one bad cell (or so AAA told me after they started my car). So I called and then drove straight to Paul Miller Subaru which, as it happened, was having a sale on batteries. I checked into Express service and asked them to put in a new battery and check my wiper blades. The whole thing took about 20 minutes and I was back driving to work with a new batter for $100 plus installation and a new free set of wiper bladed that happened to be under warranty after 8 months. Pretty cool.

Had gone in over the weekend and the salesman we talked to wasn't the best but we chalked it up to him possibly being new. He was not knowledgeable about the cars at all and could barely answer any of our questions. However, he did inform us of a great deal going on (a reasonable down payment and low monthly lease cost). Fast forward to a few days later, when we come in ready to lease, he now tells us that the down payment with fees would be an additional $3K. There was NO mention of these fees on our weekend visit, let alone that they would be DOUBLE the original amount. He had also told us over the weekend that the down payment for a different model would be under $2K with another low monthly payment. When we asked about that one instead, his response was that he never said that which was a flat-out lie. When we asked exactly what those fees were made up of, he couldn't even explain it to us. This guy was such a terrible salesman I honestly have no idea how he is still working there. He completely ruined my opinion of this dealership as well as my father's who had actually purchased his car from them! We walked right out and leased from a different dealer that night.

too good to be true, when i purchased the car for my son, the salesman said bring it back if any problems as they rather fix any problems then get a bad review....well 5 months down the line car has a EVAC LEAK....i have only drove 2k on it since purchased......and they won't fix it.....supposedly salesman said 5 weeks....NO HE DIDNT.....BUT THATS OK CAUSE HERE IS YOUR BAD REVIEW......LIARS AND HORRIBLE SERVICE......NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO TO THIS DEALER.....

We had an excellent experience with this dealer, and the sales person Ryan Murphy. We solicited quotes from 6 dealers, and they were the most competitive. Equally important, the interaction was very professional from beginning to end, both by email and phone, then in person when we picked up the car. They were kind enough to fedex our EZ pass tag back to us after we left it in the car we were trading in. We hope to do business with this dealer again in the future!

When I purchased my car from Paul Miller Subaru I also purchased a warranty that covered flat tires. When I had a flat tire, I brought the car to Paul Miller to repair or replace the tire. Paul Miller replaced the tire and also performed a service in connection with a recall. The services were performed quickly and courteously.

I went to Paul Miller Subaru dealer on Route 46 in Parsippany, NJ for an Express Oil and Filter Change. The service people were pleasant and efficient. My time spent at the dealer was less than an hour. My car was serviced, washed, and the inside was vacuumed. And I got to relax reading a good book as I waited. Kudos to Paul Miller for quick, efficient service.

I brought my 2015 Subaru Forester in for repair because (a) three warning lights would go on after I had driven 5-7 miles from my home and (b) in doing the NY vehicle inspection my mechanic noted that the steering wheel was almost 40 degrees off center to the left.I told the Service Manager, Jerry Ciriaco, that the warning light problem had shown up the day I picked up the car and was driving home from Paul Miller Subaru. He accepted my explanation and told me that the vehicle must have hit a pothole while it was being used as a loaner (I bought it with 6,532 miles on it); that apparently caused the alignment problem (which in turn caused the warning lights to go on), but it didn't result in a dented rim or any damage to the undercarriage. I was not charged for the repair, which was expertly done. Outstanding customer service.

We were very pleased with our experience. We knew that we wanted a CrossTrek and we knew what the price should be. Paul Miller Subaru had a better selection and lower prices for 2012-2013 pre-owned Impreza models than most other dealers in Northern NJ, Rockland, Westchester and Orange County NY. They were easy to communicate with through emails and in person. Prices started out lower than most other dealers and I was able to negotiate what was a fair deal for both parties without much hassle. Overall a good experience and a painless purchase.

Do not buy a used car from this dealership. They will lie to you about where the car came from. They tried to charge me DOUBLE for the repairs the car needed right after I bought it. Then after arguing with them they realized oops, we thought the job would take double the time it actually takes. I had to take the car back again after they fixed it because stuff was rolling around in my dashboard. They delayed my entire vacation, and before I could leave the dealership I was stopped by another couple who had a very similar story. Safe yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

I came to Paul Miller Subaru for my 6,000 mile service (same dealership where I purchased my car, which was another great experience).Scheduling was very easy: they sent me an e-mail and I could pick any available time at my convenience using their website.When I arrived at the facility, and the staff was very friendly and professional. The waiting area was comfortable: they provided bagels and had a beverage machine [for coffee, cappuccinos, tea, etc.], tables if you wanted to use your laptop and do work, and a children's play area (I plan on bringing my four-year-old next time the car needs to be serviced). My car was serviced exactly within the time frame that they told me it would take.I received 2 coupons in my e-mail and mail, one for service, and one for a discount on parts, so I picked up some weather proof mats on my way out. The parts center was quick and the staff was knowledgeable.

My relatively young car started to show strange messages. The dealer immediately gave me a loaner and kept me Informed on the diagnosis. The problem turned out to be a major issue requiring parts from and involvement with Subaru. My car and I were separated for about 3 weeks but I had the loaner to drive and total confidence that the service department would solve everything. This is my 3rd Subaru and I have always used the dealer for service. Everyone in the service department is very nice, patient, and were so helpful as I learned to drive my new car. I gave 5 stars for quality of repair, not because I have any way to judge that, but because of my level of trust in the service department.

I brought my 2002 Outback in for repair. The service people were thorough, giving me a detailed review of my car's condition and what needed to be repaired or replaced. In addition, they applied a discount coupon I had just received to bring the price down considerably. They gave a 2016 loaner vehicle so that I could get around and see some of the new features being offered. The showroom was clean and impressive, very new inside. Everyone was pleasant and polite and explained everything that needed to be done. They also offer a free car wash with repairs. Since it was pouring out, they did not wash my car but told me I could bring it back anytime to get a free wash. I will definitely use them again.

She did not pressure me or make me feel uncomfortable like many dealers/sellers you'll come across - very straightforward and professional. Made the process much better. Heavy engine seal repair originally thought to be paid on my dime at over $2K was happily covered by my Subaru Extended Warranty or through a cam seal bulletin at a cost of about 25% of that amount. No cost out of pocket to me. Still so happy I purchased that Subaru Extended Warranty during first year of ownership.

The entire experience was exemplary! This was my third Subaru purchase, and the sixth dealership with which I delt. By far this was the best experience. The staff was courteous, attentive, and thorough. At no time did I feel as if I was being mislead or manipulated, something that can not be said about the last dealership I visited or the dealerships from which I purchased my first two Subaru's. The car was thoroughly explained to me, all of my questions were patiently and completely answered. The price was excellent, and the paperwork easy. Remember, the Outback is a hot vehicle right now, as a matter of fact, the one I purchased was the only one they had available at the time, yet I was treated as if they truly appreciated my business, not as if I was lucky to be buying one from them. (I have encountered the later attitude at other dealerships). Paul Miller's reputation for customer service seems well deserved in my opinion. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone shopping for a Subaru.

Recently had routine service and found the representatives to be friendly, professional and explained what services were required and the costs of the repairs. The work was completed quickly, and my car was washed when ready. I also needed a warranty repair on the steering wheel and was promptly advised when the part arrived, was scheduled for the repair at my convenience and the a new steering wheel was installed without delay.

Called on Saturday morning to see if car advertised online was available. Person put me on hold, came back and said yes, even asked me when I'd be coming to see it. Arrived there to see the car, couldn't find it. Place very busy and couldn't talk to person that told us it was there because he was with someone else. Get another person who tells us that car isn't there and wasn't there when we called earlier in the day. Horrible communication. Wasted our time and money (i.e. gas).

Carlos took the time to talk me through the vehicle features and the paperwork was a painless process. Service guys fitted my winter wheels at no extra charge. Parts guys were great too, advised me on what winter tires to buy. I would highly recommend Paul Miller group to anyone looking to purchase a Subaru. Lastly, they had an STI for a test drive, this is not the case with other Subaru dealers in NJ. Now, would you buy a car without driving it first?

We had a hard to diagnose symptom that eventually was tracked to the software that controls the transmission. They spent several hours going over everything that could have been wrong, and the matter was fixed. All we were charged for was the oil change we went in for.

So I've been taking my Subaru to Paul Miller for several years and overall am happy with the service, however with this visit I have some gripes...I called to make an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation - I was told that I didn't need an appointment because they have a '30-minute' Express service.So I brought the car in around noon and was told that there were no other cars in the Express line and that it should take 'about' 30-minutes. An hour and a half later, my car was ready, and they didn't even need to do the tire rotation! Granted, they did hand-wash the car and that took about 25-minutes, but still, and hour for the oil change was a bit much.The service facility waiting area is nice and staff is good, so no real complaints about that.Now today I got a call from 'the Service Manager' asking about my satisfaction...Well the voice of the 'Service Manager' was a computer-generated voice and not even a real person!! If you're going to say your the Service Manager, then make it a real recording and not a fake voice.Seems like PM Subarua is becoming a little less personal and more of a factory. I will continue to take my car there for now, but...

Ryan Murphy was a great salesperson to deal with. He made the car buying experience pleasant if you can believe that. He was very knowledgeable and patient. He made suggestions while helped us make our decision as to what model and options to choose. We negotiated really hard and Ryan never lost his composure. Jerry and team couldn't have been more accomodating. I called in a panic on Saturday afternoon, having damaged a tire and needing to drive several miles the next two days. First Jerry offered a loaner, but then said that they would be able to put on a new tire, align my car and also change my oil. On top, they even washed it. Kudos for a great experience!

My service experience could not have been better. My battery having died, I showed up without an appointment and was immediately accommodated in a friendly manner. The battery was checked and the results shown to me so I could make the choice of keeping the existing battery or replacing it. When I chose the latter, the new battery was installed quickly. If I buy another car, it will be a Suabru just because of the service reliability.

Just needed oil and filter change plus tire rotation. I just feel for a brand-new car, oil change should be complimentary as it is with every other car dealer that I know about. If we had gone with the Toyota instead, we would have had 3 years of free oil changes.

I bought a 2015 Subaru Impreza and The Paul Miller team made my car buying experience simple fast and easy. I shopped this car and test drove at other dealerships but no other dealer made me feel more at ease! Since buying the car I have had two oil changes performed at the dealership and they were fast and provide coffee while I waited. You could not ask for better service I rate them a 10 out of 10!

I bought my 2009 Forester used from Paul Miller. The purchase was a great experience. This is the only Subaru dealer that I trust for service (I've tried a few others). In 2013, I had the catalytic converter replaced as part of a recall. Recently, the catalytic converter failed. Vanessa and the service department worked with me for the repair and I left a happy customer. Thanks!

At first speaking by phone to the sales manager and reps was a complete disaster. However, I found myself near the dealership and decided to drop by. I asked for a sales rep and was directed to another building and another desk by a sales rep on a personal call. Not comes the good stuff...they assigned Brian to my request, and he went to work on it immediately. Long story short...two and half hours later, I walked out of the dealership with the car I wanted at the price I was willing to pay.

Even though I did not purchase my Subaru at the Paul Miller Dealership in Parsippany, I would highly recommend this dealership because of their excellent trade-in and extended warranty pricing , low documentation fee and excellent customer service with no pressure to buy! Unfortunately, the car that I finally decided on getting was not on the Paul Miller's Dealership lot. Although, after my car purchase, I purchased the Subaru Gold Plus Extended Car Warranty, at this dealership. Normally, I do not purchase car warranties. This time, I wanted that added peace of mind which also included Roadside Assistance, I visited and called many Subaru Dealers because this would be my first Subaru purchase. I truly had an Excellent Subaru Auto Shopping Experience, at this dealership, because of my Client Advisor, Carlos Arana. Carlos is a professional, polite , honest, respectful and a knowledgable Subaru Advisor. He took the time to answer all my questions and concerns and even set up an extended Crosstrek test drive for me. Again, thank you very much Carlos. My Forester is less then 1 year old; and one seat in it has has a defect - it is coming apart at a seam. I have been bringing the Forester to Paul Miller Subaru for every service, and assumed that since the car is still on warranty, I would have no problems having it fixed.Rob, the service representative, seemed nice and friendly. Asked me about the car, the weather, and if I have a dog. After taking a look at the car he said he had to talk to the "warranty manager". The "warranty manager" (never told me his name) says that because I have a dog it is not normal tear and wear and will not be covered by warranty! It did not matter that I explained to him that the dog only been in the car a few times and every time he rides in a crate in the back. Moreover, it is clearly not a scratch or damage to the seat from usage but a defect in the seam. Apparently at Paul Miller Subaru service department believes that having a pet voids your warranty! I was considering buying a second car from them to replace our old Honda, but now will look elsewhere.

Great facility and staff. Express service works very well. Had oil change, tire rotation, and cabin air filter changed in 45 minutes - in and out. Like the diagnostic check up that is done to check key areas and alert drivers to any potential issues. I didn't know I needed a new cabin air filter. Didn't even know I had one. But boy was the one I had dirty. Thanks Subaru. Love u.

They have this new thing going on called Subaru Express. You bring your car in for an oil change and maybe tire rotation and you are out in 30 minutes. It is great. No more sitting around waiting around especially when you are in a hurry. And who isn't these days! They are a pleasant group up there and while I could probably get the same work done for a lot cheaper, well, I always leave with the feeling that my car has been well taken care of by their service department. They are very detail oriented.

Purchased 2014 Impreza sport wagon manual transmission with in 2000 miles started burning oil. Brought it back for the famous oil consumption test and sure enough it burns oil. Problem still not fixed. Make sure you read the fine print if you are a do it your self. I never thought oil changes were so complex. NOT I guess it's subarus way of avoiding a needed recall on all the boxer engines. Never again. I can't wait till this oil drinking pig is gone.

Purchased new 2014 Impreza sport wagon with manual. Has burned oil from first 2000 miles.Brought it back for the famous oil consumption test. Yes it is burning oil the head mechanic said. Still no repair has been made. If you want to add oil every 800 miles buy one. I will never purchase Subaru again and stay clear of anything with Paul Miller on it.

BE WARNED! On Monday, I test drove used car, had credit ran, and was approved. However, the salesperson (Jack) and manager (Brian) would not let me take car to my local mechanic without a salesperson. The catch was there was never a sales person available all week to go with me to the mechanic. Finally went there on Saturday and they told me not to worry a salesperson would take the car on Monday. Our Sales Consultant Randy Grote of Paul Miller Subaru was fantastic in every detail. He made the process simple and gave us a great detailed tour of the new features in our 2016 Forrester. We had ordered a 2015 but Randy was able to find a 2016 Forrester, which is a better car, better rear camera, radio and quieter ride. The car was shipped to Boston and we had our car in two weeks time.

We went to Paul Miller Subaru over the weekend to start our search for either a Subaru Crosstrek or Impreza 5 door. The dealership was very busy but the receptionist approached us quickly to get a salesperson for us and while we were waiting for him to finish with another customer, one of the service personnel came over and was answering our questions so that we wouldn't be just sitting waiting for an available sales rep. When we determined that we wanted to test drive a Crosstrek, they got us in a vehicle very quickly and it was a great drive. We then sat down with a sales representative (Miguel Cely) and discussed what we did and didn't want in our vehicle. He very quickly got us the available inventory and brought over our vehicle when we decided. It was really nice to not be pressured into a car that wasn't exactly what we wanted. The rep and his management team were able to give us a good price and the buying experience was one of the best car purchase experiences that we've ever had. The financing was also completed very quickly without heavy pressure for add-ons. We told the finance manager what we wanted and he delivered (no pun intended).

Fast and easy service plus a car wash! What could be better? I didn't even have to make an appointment. When I was in the neighborhood I just stopped in. Everyone was courteous and friendly. This is my 4th Subaru car in the past 16 years and love every one of them. Our first Subaru was purchased in 1999. We bought another Subaru in 2006. The last 2 Subaru cars were recent purchases as the 2 older cars went for a drive to California and stayed there while the other went north to Syracuse and is enjoying the all wheel experience.And the dealer, nothing bad to say about the experience or the sales person that helped us with the purchases. Friendly, honest and knows the product. We were set to buy a Subaru so it was an easy sell for him and the product speaks for itself.

I haven't received customer service like this in a long time! I was having an issue with my bluetooth and when I first brought it in I actually took a ride around with one of the employees until we figured out there was no way to fix it. He ordered me a new stereo as soon as we got back and it was in within a few days. Seems to be working so far so good! My car was even washed--outside AND the inside front mats! I've talked to several of the guys that work there and they are so nice. Would definitely recommend this dealership.

My car had a serious part failure that needed immediate attention. Venessa and the customer service team arranged to get a loaner for me during the extended repairs very quickly. When I had questions about the repairs they again reacted very quickly and went over my questions with me and all was resolved to my satisfaction. A very good team at the front desk and in the shop.

I needed two tires replaced on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, which required two trips to the dealership (with a neighbor's help). The work was done efficiently and well and I was back on the road by the end of the day. I had also called a dealership closer to my home, but they did not get back to me until late afternoon. The price of the tires was somewhat higher than a price I had been quoted elsewhere, but I was satisfied that the work was done in a timely manner.

I'm very upset with Paul miller subaru 2nd time ever bringing my 2011 still limited into the shop they let a man drive my car, he didn't know how to drive stick, burned my clutch all the way around the building and also doesn't even shift outta first gear! I brought my car back beca use you can hear 2 knocks in the clutch and the guy said he didn't" feel anything" after it happened no one came and helped me even when one of the workers smelt the burnt clutch and saw me really upset he never even asked if he could help me! I'm very upset with Paul miller subaru and don't think I would ever go here again! I know a lot of ppl that won't go there now after I've told them this! I really hope I don't have to buy a new clutch

The car died while driving and had to be towed in on a Saturday. The staff was understanding and helpful, and provide a loaner vehicle. While the part had to be ordered, the repair was completed a day sooner than promised, and the car was returned washed and looking great for a nearly 14-year-old car

On line appointment process is great but why ask customer to list problems/ services needed when the entire process has to be repeated when checking in? A simple "check the service" from a list would be easier for the customer and still give service department some advance input about time/ materials needed to complete the job. A message box should show that the actual description of services needed would be finalized at time of registration. Customers would be better prepared to allow time for data entry and service desk personnel need to refine details on services needed would be smoother.

I visited Audi, Volvo and another Subaru dealership before going to Paul Miller Subaru, where I bought my 2015 Legacy. All staff were friendly & helpful. I felt comfortable at Paul Miller, unlike other places where I felt pressured by sales staff. My salesman, John Vorst was excellent. He helped me custom order my Legacy, which took 9 weeks to come in (it was estimated to take 6-12 weeks). John kept me updated throughout the 9 weeks. I also worked with the sales manager, Ron, and the finance department, who were equally helpful. I could not be happier with the buying process and my car!

The staff super friendly and helpful, especially Shannon. She even helped me on her day off to let me know if a vehicle was still available. Got a killer deal on an 05 honda pilot that was 4k under KBB value. The only issue was we drove 4 hours up to buy the vehicle with a loan check from my bank in hand thinking we would be able to drive it off the lot that day, but was not the case. They have a weird policy that you have wait ten days for the check to clear. I can understand this if it was a personal check, but this was a check made out to them directly from my bank (Navy Federal credit union) to them. They said that it is a draft check and because of that they can't release to vehicle in till the funds are completely transferred. This blew my mind, because I have done at least a dozen auto loans with navy federal and buying at a dealership. This is the first time I ever went to a dealership gave them the check from NFCU and was told I can't have it yet. You can imagine how mad I was to hear that after a four hour drive there. Now to be fair they did say to make sure its a cashiers check for same day, but no bank gives cashier checks as auto loan checks, because then it would be a personal loan. Plus as mentioned before I never had a problem before taking it home with same day with NFCU checks, so I disregarded thinking there was a misunderstanding on how I was paying. Nope, you really do need to wait 10 days if you pay via draft check, even if its directly written from the bank. So guess who gets to go drive another 8 hour round trip in ten days! The only thing that keeps them from getting lower then 3 stars is the fact that they were very nice, the price was a amazing, and when it comes done to it wasn't their fault I had to drive 4 hours to get their. The loss of two stars is over a dumb policy that just seems crazy in 2015. Most checks these days are instant. Anyways felt the it necsarry to spread the word to spare some the same head ache. As an update, my bank gave me confirmation that Paul miller Subaru excepted the funds and became available to them, yet they are still making me wait the 10 days. Just crazy, they got my money and my car like some sort of bad hostage exchange! P.S. If you are paying with cash, credit card, or money order I recommend because they do have some good deals. If your are paying with a loan from your bank look else where.

Bought a used car here. Had issues driving it home. Brought it back within two days for service to look at. They admitted that the car needed new shocks to rectify the handling issue but refused to fix. If you are looking for a used car, look somewhere else.

Met Randy Grote at 'Paul Miller Subaru', a real gentleman, and we test-drove several Subaru models and I decided on the Legacy 3.6. The car is so popular that we had to order it from the manufacturer, and Randy kept me updated each week.Randy was great to work with, I got a very fair offer on my trade-in, and the new car itself is fantastic. Couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience. Looking forward to calling Randy next year when my son turns 17.

I purchased both of my Subaru Outbacks through Paul Miller Subaru. I had such a trustworthy experience that of course I tried to work again with the same representative, Sharon Coppola, and had uniformly great experience. She will tell you exactly what you will get and communicates clearly in writing. She holds to her word and there were no "games". I purchased vehicles at the beginning of the season, when the vehicles were Nationally in short supply. In both instances, the finance terms on the final day of purchase even improved from what was actually quoted when I ordered the vehicles. Their service department has nice amenities and great customer service. Despite not selling $100,000 cars, they make you feel like you are being supported as if you did. It seems like the extended warranties will therefore be a great value.

Upon calling them was put in touch with sales rep Ryan Murphy who was able to put a package together for me in a very professional manner within a very short turn around time. I searched for several months for a specific model used car, and located what I was looking for at Paul Miller Subaru. Sharon Coppola responded quickly to my request and provided the information I needed. She followed up promptly to questions, and we mad arrangements for an appointment. I was a little nervous to drive 1.5 hours, wife and three kids in tow, from our house in CT, but I was not disappointed. Sharon Coppola was friendly and treated me fairly, and she also kept tabs on me throughout the process even though she was incredibly busy. I would certainly buy from her and Paul Miller again!

Randy was so nice and helpful- I was very stressed about the whole car buying situation (as I've only done it once in my life and was buying used for the first time to replace a car someone else totaled when parked). He was calm, answered all of my questions, gave me time to think, and really tried to make me feel happy and comfortable in my decision. In the end I bought the same model with less mileage from a different auto dealership, but I wish I could have given my business to Paul Miller Suburu. Next time I am looking to purchase a new car I would like it to be a Suburu, and I will definitely come here.

i have been purchasing Chrysler products since coming out of the service in 1967. One big reason is that my nephew is a part owner at Teterboro Chrysler. This is the first time i have moved my allegance from Chrysler to Sabaur. One big reason is that my daughter is the Internet Sales Manager. I have to tell you never have i enjoyed a car as much as i love my Legacy. I found everyone at Paul Miller in Parsippany absolutely wonderful. In 2003 i retired as Corperate Director for Abbott Labs. I was responsible for Logistic ad Material Management. Part of my responsibility was Customer Service of which i found could make or break you if the come in contact with the wrong person. I can tell you for a fact that evereyone at Paul Miller was great. My daughter Sharon Coppola wanted my wife and i to once an for all get the best with all the bells and whistes and by goodness she did it, It did not hurt this morning when on Goodmorning America the visited the car show in NY where they announced the best cars for 2015 and guess which car was #1, Sabaru 2015 Legacy which is what i have.My sincere thanks to everyone at Paul Miller in Parsippany for a great car buying experience.George and Phyllis Coppola!

This is our second Subaru from Paul Miller. The G.M., Ron, is extraordinary and pleasure with which to deal. He is not high pressure and does not play games. The entire staff is also commendable. On the first day my wife took her Forester to work someone put a huge scratch on the door. She called Ron and he told her to come down right away. He made sure the detail crew would stay and wait for her. They buffed out the scratch perfectly. We love the car and the dealership.

After deciding upon the exact model and accessories we wanted in a 2015 Forester, I contacted more than half a dozen dealerships simply to get their best competitive price quote. Sharon Coppola, Paul Miller's internet sales manager, was by far the best. She worked late nights to provide a fast turn around on the quote, provided the full list of additional fees necessary to determine the 'out the door' price, and never played any old fashioned salesperson games. Straight up and honest in all of our dealings. The Paul Miller price quote was the least expensive of any NJ dealership, beating some by almost $1500!

I went in for an oil change .this guy Wayne says "ok We'll start with That" I could tell from his tone that I was in for a problem...Ten minutes in ,he comes out with a laundry list of things I need..Brakes,Air Filter,Cabin Filter,Belts and and the the Topper--a Broken Strut..I say "wow,is anything on this 1700+ bill covered by my extended warrenty . He says no,so not having that cash on hand I opt for just the oil change. I go home and cancel my trip to Massachussetts cause I didnt feel safe taking my grandkids in my car. I research and find out that in fact the struts are covered. So I make an appointmeny For Friday,I get a loaner expecting the car to be ready ,NOT , Wasnt done till the following Tuesday. I go get my car Wayne says how was your trip....I say I didnt go because I couldnt afford to get my strut fixed Because "someone" told me it wasnt covered, No apology or anything, so i say to him,"when I screw up I apologize", so he begrudgingly apologizes....I would think that people who work for you would know what is covered and what is not..... I am done with Paul Miller Subaru and probably all Subaru Products.I am not happy,you guys are just like every other dealership,your job is to separate me from my money

Ryan took us through the purchase of a new Impreza smoothly and pleasantly. We think that Subaru offers excellent value, particulary with the Certified PreOwned Program, to begin with and through Ryan and the Paul Miller team we are very happy with the pricing they offered on the cars we purchased! Compared with other dealers, Paul Miller consistently had lower mileage preowned cars available. Ryan made the whole process easy and was very efficient in the use of our time.....he and his sales manager, Jeremy, stayed late after hours this week to process the deal. Due to a recent accident, we were looking for a specific model Subaru. We arrived at Paul Miller at about 2:30. We were told about three cars which had been courtesy cars and were being turned over as well as two brand new 2014 Outbacks. Ryan was out for lunch, and we wanted to deal with him as he had been responsible for our daughter buying a new car from this particular dealership. While we could have been asked to wait for his return, we were assured we could work with him, but at the same time we were helped by the sales manager to look at the cars available and took one for a test drive. Upon Ryan's return, he quickly worked up a comparison of one of the courtesy cars and a new one. We selected the new one and asked when we could take possession. Ryan asked if we would like to drive it home that afternoon. The paper work was initiated immediately, a 0% loan, insurance switch, registration, as well as all the other necessary forms, and the car was prepared by the team in the shop. Long story short, at about 5:30 I was headed home in my new Outback.

Service tech was exceptionally responsive to my concerns. Repairs that were needed were thoroughly explained and costs provided. Repairs were made relatively quickly while I waited. This is my 3rd Subaru, 2 bought from the former owner of the dealership. Paul Miller is very nice to work with and I highly recommend them. I did shop other dealers too but there was no comparison. They had to bring in the color I wanted, but did so. The Sales Manager is very special. I have always serviced my cars there and have been very pleased. Friends tell me it cost more to service cars at a dealership, which may well be true, but I feel they know my car best. I needed to use their free loaner service twice which is actually what sold me on the Crosstrek!

I have always gone to dealers in person to purchase a car. After comparing various makes, we decided on a Forester. I decided to try the "internet" and requested a quote from Paul Miller (and a couple of others). The quote I received from Sharon Coppola was an excellent price; better than the others. Simply put, I met with Sharon and in one visit, after a couple of minor option selections, I purchased the car for the quoted price and was given an estimated delivery. Sharon kept me up to date on progress, the car came in a bit faster than expected and she made an appointment for us to pick up the car. Our experience with Sharon and the Paul Miller dealership in buying the car was excellent, professional, and went smoothly. We have some friends that also purchased a Forester from Paul Miller a while back and have commented about how satisfied they have been with their service group since their purchase, which also helped us with our decision. I clearly would recommend Paul Miller (and please note I am just a customer, and all the preceding is exactly what transpired).

Buying a car can be as painful as a trip to the dentist, but NOT if you have Ryan Murphy to guide you! We were pleasantly surprised to find an extremely knowledgeable, very patient sales representative to guide us through our purchase. He showed us all the models of the Outback which were available, explaining the options on each vehicle. After selecting one for purchase, Ryan went over the car carefully explaining the options in detail. He gladly hooked up our phone, even practiced remote start with us! In short, I would highly recommend Ryan Murphy if you are thinking of purchasing/leasing a Subaru!

Paul Miller is a reputable and familiar name for a reason. I started coming here after I bought a used Subaru from a private dealer which turned out to be a lemon, and Paul Miller has turned it into a good car. Their service is great and their customer service is fantastic.

My husband and I had a very easy experience just recently when leasing a Subaru cross trek for our son. The client advisor, Jack Schleiff, was enormously knowledgable of the entire Subaru product line. Not only was he able to answer all of our questions about the car in which we were interested, but he was a particularly effective salesman since he himself had a long history of owning Subaru automobiles and was able to impart his enthusiasm for these cars to us.

We had to buy a new car because our 1995 Legacy died. Naturally we wanted another long-lasting Subaru. The Impreza fit our budget and was cute. The test drive was sweet -- we didn't need a wagon, but the hatchback was a good idea. And with the Costco membership discount, we could afford to upgrade to a better package! Our salesman, Ryan Murphy, was so easy to work with-- not pushy or overbearing, like salespeople at other dealerships. We are very pleased.

In January 2014, my wife and I purchased our Jeep Liberty Limited from Paul Miller Subaru. Once we decided to purchase a second vehicle, we immediately visited their web page and came across a Hummer H3. We called Brian (used car sales manager) and visited the showroom the following day and met with Ron Sheffield and Mike Geller for a second time. Just as our first visit, they were professional and superb. We completed the deal without the anxiety we are accustomed to from other dealerships. As a consumer, I highly recommend this dealership. My only issue is that my wife now wants the H3 but I'm sure we will compromise.

My father and I had been in the market for a 2014 WRX for two months, searching for not only a good deal, but also for a particular color/trim (White or Ice Silver Base Sedan with as few accessories as possible). After exchanging emails and phone calls with roughly two dozen dealers from Maine all the way down to Virginia, we stumbled across Paul Miller Subaru selling the last new 2014 Ice Silver Base WRX Sedan with no accessories they had in their inventory. After inquiring about the e-price and exchanging a few emails and calls with Sharon, we agreed to an 'out the door price" and scheduled pickup for one week later. The transaction was perfect! A few emails were sent back and forth during the week to prepare the paperwork for the car before coming in to take delivery, and once arriving at the dealership, the purchase of the vehicle itself took minutes! Sharon also worked with us to transfer over existing registration/license plates to the new WRX since we were registering the car in New York. All our requests had been met as well, including not to wash the car prior to delivery, and including a copy of the window sticker with the car.Another nice gesture we had never seen at any other Subaru dealership before was the use of no-drill front license plate mounts. This is definitely something any other WRX/STI driver would appreciate, since drilling holes in the front bumper is generally frowned upon. For Paul Miller to install a $35 no-drill aluminum front plate adapter at no additional cost to keep the bumper from unnecessary holes and scratches shows the type of attention to detail the dealership has for it's entire business.In addition to having an efficient and smooth transaction, we have to commend Paul Miller and Sharon for being very courteous and professional throughout the entire process. Unlike the other dealers we had contacted, the Paul Miller staff exhibited no high-pressure tactics, price inflation, or attempt to sell us any unwanted accessories, warranty, or services. All in all, we had a great experience with no problems whatsoever. We will most definitely recommend Paul Miller Subaru or any of the Paul Miller Auto Group dealerships to anyone searching for a new vehicle!

This was the absolute worst car experience I've ever had, and I've bought 8 cars. I'm in Michigan and found this dealership through eBay. They just got in an 07 Acura RDX which was exactly what I was looking for. I called them, asked about the condition. They told me everything was great, the fluids were brought back to stock, the car looked and drove great, blah blah blah. My dad was in New Jersey right around this time, so he went to pick it up for me. While test driving it, a transmission error appeared on the nav. Big red flag... They looked at it and found that the car had no issues, so they said. To be safe, my dad convinced them to give me a 30 day tranny warranty. Hesitantly, they did.Once the car was in my possession, I brought it to my local Acura dealership, to make sure the transmission was okay. Lo and Behold, the transmission didn't need to be repaired, but it actually needed a replacement. We contacted them (Brian Gasokosky specifically) and told them the issue since we had the warranty on the car. He didn't believe us! Why would an Acura dealer lie?We then asked the Acura dealership for proof to send to this terrible Subaru dealership. We sent that over and still they wouldn't fix the car. What's the point of a warranty when they don't back it up? Finally, they offered to take the car back, but they wouldn't fix it. What car dealership ever takes cars back? It was very fishy. They either knew the car was crap, they were trying to avoid a lawsuit because we had the proof of warranty, or they didn't think we would accept.Needless to say, we returned it. Then it was a huge pain to get my money back. It took about a week and a half to get it. What a pain in the butt. NEVER BUY FROM THEM, THEY'RE CROOKS!TL;DR - I bought a car with a warranty, it had a bad transmission. Brian would not back up the warranty. We ended up returning the car and were out about $1,000 in shipping/repair costs.

This is the second time I've had work done here. There prices are competitive. They have online discount coupons. They do what they say, have it ready when they say, the loaner is great, the coffee is great. And they wash your car when they've finished. What's not to like?

I found the dealership through the Consumer Reports' car buying service -- Build and Buy Service. Even on a busy Saturday the associates at the dealership were attentive and courteous. By doing our homework in advance we went into the dealership knowing what options we wanted. 1. A salesperson accompanied us on a test drive and explained the car's features. 2. We sat down to discuss the price which was largely predetermined by the buying service. No hidden fees, no inflated dealer preparation, etc. 3. The car we wanted with specific options was not in stock. We were given realistic waiting periods for different scenarios: a) car was available from an affiliated dealership (dealer-to-dealer trade), b) car would be in next month's allotment from Subaru, c) car would be ordered from Subaru. Result: it was located within one week from an affiliated dealership. 4. Financing: we sat down with the finance manager. Low key discussion, no pressure. We were not offered ridiculous options such as VIN number etching or rust proofing undercoating. When offered to purchase an extended warranty we declined and there was no attempt made to persuade us otherwise. 5. The showroom, the restrooms, and the sales staff work areas are all spotless. 6. We did not come for the coffee available for customers but having ten flavors to choose from with the Keurig-like coffee maker was nice on a cold winter day. 7. The sales person was Sharon Coppola and I will buy my next Subaru from her.

I gave all "greats" to my review because my experience buying a car with Paul Miller Subaru was completely positive. My salesperson, Ryan Murphy, listened carefully to my needs and created a package that met everything I asked for. Ryan, and everyone working with him, were all welcoming and responsive to my needs. Paul Miller Subaru has a challenge because it is a smaller dealership, and, as such, everything matters, both positive and negative. My experience has been all positive, thanks to Ryan and all with whom he worked. I have since been back for service for my Outback, and found the Service Department (Wayne and others) to be just as friendly and responsive. Count me as a satisfied customer who will be back and who will recommend you to others.

I've been buying from PM dealerships for years because of the quality and service they provide. My purchase of a Subaru Legacy was seamless. The service has been outstanding. Recently my daughter had the unfortunate experience of having a tree branch fall on the car causing extensive damage. She had it towed to Paul Miller Subaru and when they discovered some items she forgot to remove from the car they called and offered to drive them to our house to drop them off. I've worked with Jerry, the service manager, for year and have always found him friendly and professional.

Went in with a budget of $12000, Ryan was able to convince me to up my budget to $20000+, not by being ridiculously pushy or being your typical "car salesman" he let his personality do the talking. Laid back, explained everything I wanted and needed to know, let me make my own decisions and catered to my needs. He was always on top of everything when asked and gave you the service you want when looking for a car. He was so good my dad is convinced now he will come back in the future to deal with Ryan again to buy another Subaru. He was literally that good. I'll be honest we were afraid of dealing with the whole buying a car process and dealing with your typical run of the mill car salesman, Ryan was far from that and was beyond exceptional. they set up a service time that was convenient for me and allowed me to have a courtesy car. Once I was there, everyone was very polite and helpful. they answered any questions I had. they called me during the service to let me know what was being done and again get my OK for it and then they called when the service was finished. the car was ready when promised. and they washed the car before giving it back to me, very appreciated in our current snowy/salty driving conditions.

I've taken my car to 4 Subaru dealers; purchased and serviced for 2 years in Utah, an oil change once in Chicago, serviced about a year in Connecticut. This service center was by far the best experience. The dealership in Utah was fine, but nothing extraordinary and they seldom had loaner vehicles. My oil was overfilled in Chicago and when I called to talk to them about it they were very rude. The services in Connecticut were very expensive, it was difficult to get and appointment and they were a bit slow.The hours of operation are very impressive and helpful. Fitting me in the morning after the accident was no problem. Vanessa was superb, accommodating, and very helpful. The diagnosis was surprisingly fast. The free loaner vehicle was wonderful. They came in exactly on the estimate. I think what says the most is that no other dealer has EVER sent me an invitation to review my experience.Good work and I'll certainly be coming back.-J V

If you could give more than a rating of 5 for Price, we would go to 10. We used the internet to work with dealers within 100 miles and Sharon's price was the BEST. She responded within 24 hours and we had a new car within the week - the model, color and price we wanted. Sharon was incredibly friendly, understanding and helpful. I was driving my 2006 legacy with 175k with my family and the car started to shake and the check engine light came on and the car made a loud tapping noise. I pull the car over and the car shut off and would not start. I call Paul Miller Subaru and was towed in I got to the dealer with in 15 min it was late in the day they held a mechanic there to take a look at the car I had told them we were from up state new york. They look at the car and told me there is not an easy way to diagnose it. they got me car and we were able to go home. The next morning Jerry call me and explained the problem with the car so i can understand it. I gave him the ok to fix the car in no time they had my car repaired , Jerry call me every step of the way and call when it was completed. when I went to pick up the car they explained in detail and showed me the parts that they replaced. when they pulled the car up for me I had noticed that they even cleaned the car. the runs and looked like new. I purchased a 2006 Nissan Frontier from Paul Miller about 3 weeks ago, so this review is based on my experience to-date, and will be updated as time goes on. I reside in NY, so I have been waiting for PM to submit the documentation so I can register the vehicle. I have contacted them by email several times, with no reply. This is interesting, as they were very responsive when I was a buyer. I have phoned, and been told my call would be returned, and not surprisingly, no return call. When I phone back the attitude I get is as if I am wasting their time, and they have no interest in talking to me. As I am writing this, customer service called to tell me the registration documents were sitting under a sales reps pile and will be FedEx'd. This is the first positive experience I have had since purchasing the vehicle, so what was a 1 star is being raised to 2 stars. I do agree with other reviews that say, beware of the paperwork and what you are agreeing to.

Was it dishonest busisness practice or just plain stupidity. Makes you wonder if it is a common occurence for other customers or other services. I was beginning to have some issues with my current vehicle, a 2003 Jeep Liberty, and was first introduced to Paul Miller Subaru through their service department. The Service Manager, Jerry, and the rest of his team made this a very good experience for me, and seem to go out of their way to do the best job possible for their customers. When it was time to consider a replacement vehicle about six months later, I decided to do some internet shopping and came across a 2012 Jeep Liberty with only 13,000 miles that was being offered at a great price by this dealership. I contacted Paul Miller Subaru's Internet Sales Manager, Sharon Coppola, who was very responsive and pleasant to deal with, answering all of the questions I had about this vehicle and the purchase process. I also traded my 2003 Jeep and the value provided by their pre-owned department was more than fair. I financed a portion of the purchase, which included an extended warranty for additional security based upon the high miles I put on my vehicle each year. Again, no issues here and also no surprises.To say this was a smooth process start to finish would be an understatement. Just a few days after seeing the vehicle on line, I was driving off the lot in my new Jeep which had been given such a thorough detail, it looked like I was pulling a brand new vehicle off the showroom floor! We started with a different dealer at Hackettstown Subaru. Everything was fine until we said we like the car, but we have to talk price. They stared to do the contract at full price. After we questioned it they said you will be lucky if you get $500 off. Well we left and didn't come back.We Searched the web for more info.... and Sharon was one of the people that got back to us... I also obtained low-cost financing arranged by thedealership. The entire process was a pleasant, haggle and hassle freeexperience. Great experience buying from Sharon C. at Paul Miller Subaru. I had done a lot of research and test drove a friends 2014 Forester, when I decided to buy without visiting showrooms. I had several bad experiences via phone and internet with a few other NJ dealers. When Sharon called, she immediately gave me a very competitive price and sent me an e-mail with the breakdown of the OTD price. She was courteous, professional and very knowledgeable. No hard sell/told me to think it over and call her if I was interested. I called her an hour later and we finalized the deal. She promised me when I came to pick up the car, that it would take less than an hour (I've heard that before.) She was 100% accurate. In and out of showroom in 55 minutes, of which 30 minutes was spent looking at car and programming bluetooth for phone. Met with business Mgr for less than 15 minutes. He offered me several different extended warranty packages which I declined. Again, no hard sell and a pleasure to deal with. This is what a car buying experience should be like. I've bought many new cars over the years and this was by far the best experience I've ever had. Buy your new Subaru at Paul Miller Subaru!

I had been searching for a new 2013 WRX STI and called Paul Miller Subaru to confirm that their website was current before driving out to see the car (it was). I spoke with Ron Sheffield, a manager there and could tell right away that he would make it worth my time if I travelled out in hopes to buy. I arrived that afternoon and loved the STI, after Ron approved me for sale, Ryan Murphy was my advisor. They each had a lot of knowledge with respect to the history of the WRX as compared to other performance cars. Ryan had a lot of great advice with how to take care of the STI, how to break it in and ensure it has the best shot of performing to its full capability. I had traveled almost 4 hours to buy the STI and was treated exceptionally well. I had to return home quickly for a professional obligation and they ensured I was out the door as soon as possible upon purchase. I had no intention of trading in my current vehicle and they kept my STI under lock and key, detailing it prior to me leaving in case I wanted to take it and then again when I returned to pick it up. I would highly recommend talking to Ryan Murphy if you're contemplating one of several cars that can achieve 0-60 mph in less than 5.5 seconds (the STI is 4.7 sec I believe). I had spent a lot of time comparing fast cars and was willing to spend as much as $50000 on a new Audi TTS. I have a TT Quattro now and I'm considering selling it to drive the STI daily. I am beyond happy everyday with my choice and am glad to have done business with them. Great dealership, no pressure, knowledgeable, great price (I'd compared many) and excellent selection. Thanks.

I was in the market for a new vehicle and stopped into Paul Miller Subaru. My wife currently has a Subaru Forester and had an Outback prior to that. I was not committed to Subaru, but was pleased with my wife's experiences.I was greeted by a young salesman - Ryan Murphy. I was expecting a pushy salesperson looking to close an immediate sale. Instead, Ryan took the time to listen to my needs and discussed a few different vehicles with me. It seemed that he was more interested in making sure the vehicle was correct for me than he was in making a sale. He was not pushy at all and was completely knowledgeable on all aspects of the car, engine, onboard computer, etc. It was very refreshing.Ryan was also completely familiar with the trim lines, options, and the values of each. Great experience in buying a used car from this dealer. They listened to my needs and led me to the right car to meet my family's needs. I never felt pressured and I felt that I got a good deal. After months of comparing vehicles on the internet, going to auto shows, and deciding against purchasing a Mitsubishi Outlander Sport, I arranged for an appointment with Ms. Coppola for the morning of April 6, 2013 ready, willing, and able to purchase a 2014 Subaru Forester. From the first moment of my arrival, I felt comfortable working with Sharon to complete this new car buying purchase. Last night I purchased a Forester for my partner. I started research on SUVs about a week ago. The Forester appealed to us, as did other similar SUVs on the market. I emailed Sharon Coppola for some information on a vehicle I noticed online on their website. Sharon quoted us a fair price which prompted a few phone calls. The next night, we drove home with the SUV. The Forester is beautiful, the price on the new vehicle and my trade-in were honest and fair. That's what got us in the door. The phenomenal personality of Sharon Coppola is what sold us! I've purchased many vehicles for myself and my family over the years and can honestly say that Sharon is hands-down THE BEST salesperson I've ever done business with. Sharon is fair, direct, honest, knowledgeable, and above all nice. Sharon made us feel comfortable, special even, going above and beyond. I came to Paul Miller Subaru looking at a completely different vehicle than the one a purchased: an old used Legacy GT. When I got there, they told me that I would have to wait to see the car because the vehicle had not yet been surveyed by their shop and, as such, they were not aware of any work that needed to be done. The next day they called me to inform me that the Legacy had several issues, and that they did not plan on selling the car to any customers, but that they had just taken in a Mazda 6 which was in good condition. From the moment I walked in to that show room until I left with my new car, everyone was very professional and told me exactly what was going on, and they all went to extraordinary lengths to sell me a car that any one of them would be okay driving home in rather than just shoving me in to a car with problems because I wanted it. Both Brian and Anthony were awesome during the negotiating process, and did everything they could to come to a mutually beneficial price. Likewise, Jeremy made my experience in finance smooth and efficient. All in all: the experience was easy and enjoyable, and I'll definitely be recommending Paul Miller Subaru to all my family and friends because of it.

Found our vehicle of choice via the internet and after contacting and visiting several dealers with similar vehicles that met our criteria, we were most disappointed......until we checked in with Paul Miller Subaru and Sharon. Even though we live nearly 100 miles away, her assuring manner made me comfortable enough to make the trip out to preview their offerings. After meeting with her personally, I knew I had made the right choice. Sharon was most welcoming and knowledgeable. Quite the multi-tasker as well. Professional and organized, she handled all my questions and concerns in an honest manner. No shell games or slight of hand as I had done my homework as well. She stayed in contact with me in the days leading up to delivery, making sure all the details were followed up on from financing through the thorough detailing and presentation as the Forester was brought around for our inspection at purchase. Do not buy a used car from Paul Miller Subaru. They sold me a vehicle with extensive engine damage entirely covered up with Silicone and then proceeded to try to convince me that I was wrong. The overall feeling the dealer gives you is only look at their cars with a lawyer. Plus they give you bundles of papers to sign to waive them of any responsibility of anything. They don't answer your questions and the Used Car Manager won't even look you in the eye. Absolutely terrible experience. You have to threaten with a lawyer to even get them to return a phone call. If you are driving by the dealer on 46, do exactly that, just keep driving by. Terrible place and low class employees.

Usually buying a used car is difficult. The salesperson will tell you anything to get you to buy the car. "Yes, it's clean." "It was in an accident but no damage." "This deal won't last!" And the cars are often priced above market. Well, this is not true at Paul Miller Subaru.I recently purchased a used SUV from them. The customer service was great. They drove two cars to my mechanic, about 90-minutes away from their dealership. My mechanic told me both cars were clean. Prior I had another dealership bring a car to my mechanic -- a reported clean car -- and my mechanic said it was a piece of junk: leaking oil, brakes shot, front end shaking, two front fenders replaced from an accident, air bag deployed, etc.Paul Miller Subaru puts its used cars through a 51 point inspection. They showed me the list of items that had repaired or replaced on the vehicle that I ended up buying. They do not sell cars that need work.They were prompt in returning emails and phone calls, and quick to find a suitable vehicle for me in my price range. At the showroom, I was treated with the same attention and care as folks buying new $30,000 cars.BTW, they went through all this work just to sell me a $7,000 car. Now THAT speaks volumes!Oh, and no high pressure sales here. I was offered an extended warranty option, which I declined. The gentleman offered me a better price and I still declined. He was polite and we concluded our transaction.I'd say that they price their cars pretty tightly. The car that I purchased was above Edmund's value but below Blue Book value. If you're looking for a new or used vehicle, I recommend that you go to Paul Miller Subaru first. It is worth the drive even if you are not local. Based on my experience, I'd guarantee that you will not be "taken for a ride."

Read what you sign twice before you sign and remember these two words BUYER BEWARE! I have given this rating for the simple reason people should know they practice deceptive sales techniques.Make sure the papers you sign are in full view and not layered one on top of the other.

I drive a great deal and put more miles on my car than the average user. I bought my Subaru from another dealer and soon learned, to my regret, that I had made a mistake. I had bought a used Subaru and received a (non-Subaru) warranty that wasn't worth the paper it was written on. Subsequently, in a little more than a year I had a meltdown (literally) of the engine and was towed to Paul Miller. It was one of the best accidents I ever had. Jessica, as well as the whole dealership, not to mention Subaru itself, went all out to please me. Even though I had not bought my car from them, they literally chopped my repair bill in half of what it should have been and I was off and running in less than two weeks. A minor miracle considering the extent of damage to my car. And, when I bring my car to them for maintenance they always find things that I know the average mechanic would miss. I know there are cheaper places to bring my car, but not one of them is anywhere near as good as Paul Miller. It's hard to put a price on piece of mind. This is why I gave Paul Miller the rating I did and, if I could have, it would have been even higher. I will be their customer as long as they allow me in their dealership.

For a new salesman/former service guy Rod was nothing short of spectacular. Easily the most courteous, helpful, and refreshingly honest salesman we have ever dealt with....and we didn't even buy a car from him. We will certainly be referring all our friends to him and the rest of the Paul Miller team.

I continue to be impressed by the quality of service and overall experience at Paul Miller Subaru. I was recently experiencing some minor problems with my Impreza and brought it in for service. They diagnosed, explained and resolved the issues I was experiencing and got me back on the road in a timely manner. Bought a 2011 subrau outback not to long ago it recently broke Under warranty. Not sure of what when wrong but The warranty manager was very Polite. ( easy on the eyes) he explained to me what happened, why the problem accrued, and how long it will take. Very friendly atmosphere very nice place love my outback and the dealership.

Went to this dealership had past experiences with past dealership(not soo good) but purchased and leased many subarus in past. So gave them a shot. Sales person was ok but when it came to negotiating the finance guy super lowballs the trade in by 4000 a complete insult. I know you would say well maybe trade not worth it but being in the car buisness, I understand they have to make a profit but way out of line. Quote "pigs get fat hogs get slaughtered" so beware yea they may offer you drinks but but it could end up costing you a lot of money. I WILL AND SO SHOULD YOU; GO TO A DEALER THAT IS FAIR.

I just purchased a brand new 2012 Outback at Paul Miller Subaru on Rt.46 in Parsippany , NJ and I must say I finally found a car dealer I can trust. Sharon Cappola was my sales parson and she was an absolute dream to deal with. My credit rating is just fair and I have a lot of debt so needless to say the loan company did not want to give me a loan at all. However Sharon and her manager not only did a great job getting the deal though with the bank, they kept my monthly payments even lower then we originally spoke about without any additional cost. Like most people, I hate dealing with car salesman, however Sharon Cappola is not your average salesman and she made this entire experience wonderful.
