Have an F250 diesel. The truck was due for a routine oil change.Was worried about taking it to a quick lube station.Wanted to make sure the job was done right with the right parts.Was told they would have me in and out in an hour.Three hours later I left the building.A little frustrated but I understand a business getting busy.Paid the bill over 100.00 more than the quick lube.Got home with the truck and noticed the hood was sitting up higher on one side.Turns out they decided to leave the oil cap on the top of the engine compartment and then proceed to slam the hood on it. Have a nice little gap in the seam of hood now...300.00..3hr oil change and a vehicle in worse shape than when I dropped it off.

Explained how I was in need of dependable affordable transportation. Customer experience was excellent from the first phone call with internet Manager, to the Product Consultant (i.e. sales team) and F&I. Everything from brick & mortar (beautiful facility) to the no-pressure sales experience exceeded my expectation. I was there with my 24 year old daughter who purchased her first new car -- a 2016 Fusion. A week earlier I was with my 23 year son when he purchased a new brand-x car from another dealer. Night and Day difference. Performance Ford out-classed and the other dealer in every regard. They get 5 stars.

My husband and I came in to look at getting a used car for our daughter. We walked around for about 5 minutes and were greeted by a manager named Carroll. He helped us find a vehicle and made us feel like we were the most important people there. He really took his time and explained all of the safety features for our daughter. We got a great deal and the finance manager was great too. They really made a stressful purchase wonderful. I have told all of my friends to go see Carroll at Performance Ford!

Blake did a great job at getting me the suv I wanted at a great price. I initially was in the market for a used Ford Explorer but with the great price and package he put together for a new Explorer, I couldn't pass it up. I brought a car from them. As part of the agreement they did my oil changes, rotation of tires, check battery, check brakes, etc. I've had the car but even a year and they rotated the tires one time I think because I was standing there watching. This last time I went in they have me a piece of paper as usual stating that everything was GOOD!!! 2 days later go to get in the car and it will not start after missing work, calling them with no help, I called AAA only to find out my battery was no good, I took it the manufacturers of the car, and at that point realize I needed brakes, windshield wipers and even though i the future had been changed the oil had not, it was horrible.

I wanted to surprise my wife for her birthday, and I saw 2015 Honda EX-L V6 in February. I took her to the dealer, she loved it and we decided on a fair price and 2 days later we purchased the car in cash. The paperwork was so messed up half of the paperwork had my name the other half had her name. We couldn't get the car registered, get tags or pay the taxes on the car. After my wife and I missed several days of works because of going back and forth to the dealership, DMV and the tax office I was ready to return the car. We had four 45 day paper tags. I went to the dealership and decided I wasn't leaving until I had everything I need to get the car registered, 3 hours later everything was done in June. Never received a apology or anything. If buying a car with cash do no go to Performance Ford!!!!!

First time that I met a very honest desk manager at Performance Ford Linconln. Mr. Colin Ocello fixed the mess that a former finance agent had done to me-- from outright lies that I just discovered. This matter happened when I went back to have my car serviced for: an air conditioner, a broken lock on the driver's door, and for the regular maintenance (change of oil and filter).I was very confident that my warranty that I bought from Mr. Chapman, an old Financing employee of Performance Ford, was still in force. I had the warranty which took effect the day I had purchased a used car, Ford Fusion 2011 Model, on December 27, 2014. Mr. Chapman suggested that since the car had 127,000 miles, that I should purchased the warranty along with the maintenance insurance.I relied on Mr. Chapman's representation that everything would be fixed and I do not have to worry about a broken part in the car and especially the engine or transmission; Ford Performance will cover them all without cost, according to him.However the sad thing, the warranty that cost me $1,800.00 was good only for one year. I called the service provider of the warranty, and the customer service representative verified that my warranty expired; it was good only for one year. I was totally shocked. The maintenance, though, is still good and found out that it will be expiring December 2017 (no problem). My issue was the warranty. Why would I pay for a warranty that would last only for one year? It was a complete misrepresentation of the finance person (Mr. Chapman) by not telling me that the warranty would only last for one year: this was a very material misrepresentation by not disclosing the fact that I paid $1,800.00 for the warranty alone. And Mr Chapman was reported as no longer an employee there at Performance Ford. He did a big scam perhaps to other customers as well (I assumed).I asked for the desk manager, when I called the dealership from home; my car was still in the car repair shop. Mr. Colin Ocello was a good man to talk with, and after the second time around, I met him personally at the dealership. He said that he would make things right and my broken door lock, air conditioner, and the change of oil and filter would be on him (meaning Performance Ford Lincoln would bear the cost through Mr. Ocello).Praise God for His goodness and Mr. Colin Ocello was the man at Performance Ford that personally attended to my car issues: he made things right and it did not cost me to pay anything more for warranty that I had paid for $1,800, when I bought the car in December 2014. The repair cost could had been $875.00 for the fixes, if Mr. Ocello did not intervene. Thank y ou Mr. Ocelo.

I was in an accident recently in NC on interstate 77 in a construction zone, rear ended by another vehicle and my car was totaled. I went to Performance Ford and found a 4 Fusions that I liked, the sales rep showed me everything on each of the cars and got the keys so I could test drive all 4 if I wanted to. The first one I drove was the one I selected to purchase; he had the keys for the other cars and offered to let me test drive them just in case I wanted to but I was happy with my selection. We took care of the price for the car with the help of a friendly helpful sales manager who seemed not to have anything else to do but make me happy but I'm sure he did. While working with the finance team who was also very helpful and friendly they prepared the car for me. When finished the car was mine and the only thing left was to get the car registered in NJ for me. Prior to returning to NJ I spoke to Shawn (sales manager) and we talked about any possible issues with the NJ registration as all states are a little different and he assured me that he would do anything necessary to make sure I got my registration and everything necessary in NJ. When I arrived at the NJ motor vehicle office they had one additional form and after a call to Performance Ford and explaining what need to be done with the finance team it was faxed over, completed and faxed back in short order. Within 30 minutes I was on my way with license plates, registration and inspection sticker - my purchase was now complete. Shawn talked to me a couple of times with I was at motor vehicles to make sure everything was going correctly and that I had everything needed to complete the process. Once again everybody there did everything they could to help me. I'm sure they don't sell a lot of auto's to NJ residents but they worked with me just like I was local and didn't worry that it was a one time purchase, unless I move to Charlotte but that's another story. I would highly recommend they to anybody looking for a new or used auto.

Took my truck in for a warranty issue, tire rotation and oil change. The service rep was friendly and professional and kept me up-to-date on my service. While she did a good job the department leaves a lot to be desired. When I picked up the truck I was charged more than the agreed price by about 20% and they would not fix the error. To make matters worse, they did not rotate the tires although I paid for the service. When the technician was questioned, he said, " I inspected them but didn't think they needed it". However the charge was not removed. They did rotate the tires promptly when I called them on it but did they did not wash the vehicle as promised. I am now wondering if they actually performed any service. My trust is shattered. I am sorry the service rep does not have a team behind her she can count on..

We had a written offer from Performance on a used vehicle . We said we would think on it. Tried to offer a little less .but they would not come down on original offering..OK. This was a CPO vehicle which they showed came with an extensive list of checks ---quite impressive and expensive but assured us the vehicle was in good working condition. 4 days later.we decided to go with their offer but then the vehicle was in shop and back light panel needed repair/replace? Was it CPO ready when we got a price or not? They seem to think that now that they are fixing something costly that was already on the CPO check list that added "VALUE" to the vehicle and they upped the price $2,000. If they find something else wrong will they also add to price of vehicle? They now say that was only that day's price....REALLY? My worst fear about car dealers was realized in short order. Collin (the new manage today) said that was a 1 time offer. NEVER was that said besides being a sales tactic I look down on. One should have time to think and be confident in one of the largest purchases they will have. CARFAX says this was CPO ready May 2016. Today Collin said they missed this problem during the original CPO. That CPO assurance cost either 1700 or 1750 ..I forget. I'd be worried about what the CPO really means and how much more is added if they find something else wrong. I NEVER write these reviews but I was compelled due to the way the "deal"( i use that term loosely) went down. Buyer beware.

I drove 4 hrs to this dealership to buy a new 2016 truck that I had priced (And confirmed) on the internet. Upon arrival, the salesperson says quote,"No one ever qualifies for the internet price". He says the internet price includes 79 rebates. His sales mgr "Elvis" later reduced the number of rebates down to 10 or 11. The REAL price was 10k over the advertised internet price. "Elvis" went on to say that ALL Ford dealers advertised their internet pricing incorrectly and he was forced to go along with the practice or his phone wouldn't ring. I am furious and I frankly don't care who knows it. VERY VERY DECEPTIVE!

On a recent 95+ degree day my A/C began blowing hot air on the passenger side. My car is essential for business. I called Nigel Young at Performance Ford. Nigel took my car I. Right away. They quickly repairs my car and the service was excellent. The pat on line feature may it faster. Nigel arranged for a ride back and forth. The service was excellent. I am disappointed that a part would fail at on 35k miles.

When I purchased my Lincoln MKZ at this dealership everything seemed to be going great. I signed all the forms, asked if they needed anything else from me and then drove off the lot. On the drive home (on a Friday night) I received a panicked call from the finance manager who was rude and threatened me because he hadn't completed my credit paperwork and was having issues with it. Mind you, I asked specifically before I left, if they needed anything else. Multiple calls late into the night and the next morning, plus me threatening to return the car and take my Prius back, led to the root cause of the threats. I have exceptionally high credit and credit monitoring to maintain it. A hard credit pull requires simply that the business doing the pull get me to authorize it via phone, which they didn't know to do. So rather than following the instructions of the credit monitoring service, they threatened to take my car back. Eventually, with a call to Lincoln's corporate finance department I found a woman who helped me out by calling the Finance manager at Performance Ford Lincoln and explaining to him how credit pulls work when a customer has monitoring and alerts on their credit. I kept the car, but not without a bitter taste in my mouth. There's only this location nearby for service, so I've been servicing my car here ever since. Initially my service manager was Micheal Harper, but he's left the company. I showed up this time for service, was quickly shuffled to a podium where a man took my keys and wrote "the works" and "Lincoln wash" on a notepad and then sent me off to wait. Normally I'd have spoken with Micheal about the issues/questions, if they had any software updates for my system, etc. The new Lincoln service manager, Brian, wasn't in his office. I had no one to talk to, so I assumed they'd just do the regular work and software updates that are necessary each time, as the system always has a bug that needs a patch for it seems. 90 minutes later, a woman came out calling a name that wasn't mine, with my keys in her hand. I recognized my keys so I approached her. Her paperwork for MY car had an entirely different person's name and information on it. I also noticed when I got home that it stated it was a 2013 (not 2014) Lincoln MKZ. I told her I was concerned. She handwrote my name, address and phone number on their copy of the work order, and handed me the other copy with the other person's private information (name, address, email, phone) on it. I asked about software updates, she had no clue. I asked where my service manager was, she didn't know. So I left. This place is a joke. For "premium" service, it's the worst service I've ever experienced. I got a routine oil change and that's about it. I'm not even sure they did the right work to my car since they clearly pulled up the wrong car in their system. The color of this other car isn't even the same as mine, based on the work order. Don't know who is running Performance Ford Lincoln, but this dealership is clearly mismanaged. I'm hoping I can find a more qualified dealership for service within an hour's drive because I trust no one at this dealership to do their jobs right.

Just like any other dealership there is a process but my sales guy Dennis Lee made sure my husband and I was very comfortable. He explained every step so we weren't confused about anything. He also knew we needed something and he made sure we got into a vehicle that we like and could afford. Dennis Lee did his part at the company and I really appreciate him. I've had bad experience with some salesman but he showed me that he really cares about the customer needs. Had my 2014 Edge in for the regular "First mile" service and tire rotation. Samantha White checked in my Edge on time with the appointment I had made by phone. All work was done in a quick manner and the waiting area is very comfortable. I would have received a car wash but the machine was down. Samantha offered to have me come back at another time for the wash. Very satisfied with the improvements since my first service in March.

A year and a half ago, I got a Mini from Performance ford, and they ripped me off big time.Last month, I went in to see if they would make it right and I could get a new vehicle and they could undo the financial burden from when they took advantage of me when I got the car from them after being in a head on collision. They handed me off 3 different times between salesmen (the first salesman, Albert Paille, took one look at me and ran away). I told the third guy I only wanted to talk numbers and he insisted he show me the car, then take me on a test drive before he would talk numbers. He said they would make me a deal, and came back from the managers office with an offer. They said I was ineligible for any of the Ford incentives advertised on the Ford website, and they couldn't refund any of the service contract (which was never used). Their offer basically traded in the Mini for far less than what it's blue book value was, and roll all of the negative equity onto the new car. He insisted this was their only offer, and they had changed management and were not responsible for what the previous management did, so I left. They wanted to sell me a base Ford Focus for $30k. The salesman tried to tell me it was my fault for falling for the bad deal last time, and their offer was the best I could do anyway. I don't remember his name, but it was a skinny guy who wears large, auto-tinting glasses.

Went into dealership to get the works package done on my car. When I got home I notice they did not rotate tires. Called the dealership and service manager was not pleasant to speak to and offered a refund for services only if i bring car back in! I will never go back to this store. Also have left several messages for the GM and he will not return calls. GO TO FORT MILL FORD great customer service!

I took my car in a week ago for an oil change and was treated so well, I decided to return with some general maintenance upkeep. Trever Flott was the name of the gentlemen that assisted me both days. He made sure I fully understand what needed to be done, and didn't mind taking the time to explain my options with me. They got my fusion sync software updated and replaced two recall parts all in one afternoon. I'm so thankful to how found a place that cares about me and my car as much as I do. My service advisor is Trever Flott and he provided excellent service by fully explaining the possible things I might need in addition to an oil change. The service was completed in less than an hour and was less expensive than I had anticipated. The waiting room is very nice and the whole experience was great. I would highly recommend Performance Ford.

We were traveling through the area and our 2012 Ford Explorer needed some service related to the car shaking at acceleration. After calling 3 other dealerships and hearing "we can see you next week" after we told them our situation we called Performance Ford and they got us in right away and had the repair completed within 24 hours. This saved our vacation! The Service Manage, Brian, could not have been more accommodating and polite. He was communicative and set expectations on price and time to repair that were spot on. If we lived in the area we would never go anywhere else.

I recently had my vehicle in for some work and at the end of the day while the technician was driving my vehicle out the spring on the garage door broke and the door came down on my vehicle causing some minor damage. Nigel Young is my service manager of choice because he cares and always treats me right, well he called to explain what happened, asked me to come and see the damage before it went to get repaired. Nigel got me a loaner to use until my vehicle was fixed and when it first came back he refused it because it wasn't right. Nigel kept in touch with me throughout the process and took care of me and my vehicle. Need a great service manager call Nigel Young he has my vote.

This place is a joke! I called Performance Ford about a truck (this specific truck that is shown above 2015 FX4) and spoke with 3 different people the first day. The second person would not return my call after speaking with him once and leaving several messages. I finally asked for a different salesman. I then spoke to the 3rd person. She was less than helpful but at least set up an appointment to come and see the truck the following day. I asked all 3 people to ensure the truck was there before I drove 4 hours to buy it. The following morning, I spoke to the same sales person and confirmed my appt. I then received a call from a 4th person. I asked this 4th person if the truck was there and also asked to hold it so that it did not sell before I arrived. I arrived around lunch time and the sales person was absolutely the worst sales person I've ever dealt with. (For the record, I've purchased 15-20 vehicles in the past) She was less than attentive and was very condescending towards me. I guess I didn't fit her criteria for a new car buyer. After about 45 minutes of BS I was finally informed that the truck I had wasted a whole day to go and "buy" was no longer at the dealer. It had been traded to another dealer over 3 hours away. They ensured me they would make it right and find a truck on their lot to sell me. After another hour...she tried to show me a 2012 truck. Not quite the 2015 I came to look at. After telling her I was not interested, she said she would show me a 2014. (Closer!) She then pulled the 2012 to the front door and tried to lie to me and tell me that the window sticker was wrong and that it was actually a 2014. Unfortunately for her, I'm not as dumb as I may look and proved her wrong with the factory placed year model. After asking 4 people for the keys to my vehicle (they delayed as long as possible to try to keep me from leaving) I left the lot. NEVER EVER do business with this bunch of idiots. Absolutely terrible dealership!!!

They will try to get you on everything from the purchase price, warranties, interest rates, service, maintenance etc... **Note, this is the same review I wrote on Yelp.comThis review is for the Service Department only, although if their service is this bad I am left wondering about their Sales Department?Here is my story, I moved to North Carolina a year ago and needed to find a place to service my 05 F150 (which I have had since new). I took my truck here in 2015 for a checkup and oil change and at that time they were unfriendly and failed to acknowledge my presence.However, I received my service and all seemed find so I chalked it up to them having a busy day. Jump forward to today when I was scheduled to take my truck in for an oil change, I thought I would give them another chance to gain me as customer (service and my next new truck soon).Between the time I scheduled the appt. and taking it in this morning I received a flyer from them about a 125,000 mile check up and a few other specials. When I dropped the truck off at 9:05am I was again not greeted and several of their staff are very unfriendly (Isabella or Izzy is the worst!!), I was finally greeted by Rick (who BTW is friendly and seems to appreciate us, you know the customer). After showing Rick the flyer and inquiring about the 125K checkup or this other thing called "The Works" Rick explained The Works is what I need. I agreed and stated I wanted full synthetic and would pay the extra, I hand him my keys and leave.Now it is approx. 1:30 pm and I am talking to my father and the topic of my truck came up and that it was in for service. As I was mentioning to my father it was an oil change and tire rotation it dawned on me I forgot to tell Performance Ford where the locking key is located for the aftermarket chrome. I called them right away (1:38pm) and explained where the key was located. Silently I thought to myself why after 4 1/2 hours they hadn't called to ask where it was? 20 minutes after I called them they called me back to tell me my truck was ready. I thought it was odd they called me right after I called them (20 minutes) and I wondered to myself did they even rotate the tires? I commented to my wife as she drove me there that I would know if they even did the rotation as my driver side front wheel is missing some chrome and I have been trying to figure out how I would deal with it. I show up and the same wheel (missing chrome) is still on the drivers front, same way I brought it in at 9:05 this morning. I also noted that the oil change sticker is the same one THEY put on there as a reminder for my LAST oil change, no new oil change reminder sticker, now I am wondering if they even did the oil change?I go in and speak to Rick and he comes out and I explain to him I am concerned about my service and I will not be paying for a tire rotation that never happened. I also noted the sticker for the oil change and voiced my concerns. I then crawled down to look at the oil filter and it in fact was new, so I know they at least changed that, not sure if I got 100% full synthetic liked I asked.Rick comments the work was performed by his "best technician" and he goes off to talk to him I assume. They come back, Rick, some other service advisor and apparently the Tech who did the work. I explain again about the missing chrome on the wheel and that I am very aware of the position of that wheel on my truck due to the fact the chrome is peeling, etc.. The tech then goes on to tell me how he rotated the tires, I explain again that is impossible, again due to the unique wheel with missing chrome.At this point I said I would pay for the oil change, although I am concerned about paying for synthetic given the dishonesty that has already occurred. Rick stated they would not take my payment, I then demanded to pay for the services (the oil filter at least) that I know have been completed. Rick and the other service advisor both state they will not allow me to pay. I comment to Rick I am not mad at him, I am disappointed in the customer service, the blatant dishonesty and the fact I now have to find another reputable Ford dealer to do business with. I ask who owns the dealership and Rick tells me who and hands me his card and I shake his hand.I am very particular about all my cars and I know when they have scratches, etc. and I do quite a bit of service on my vehicles so I am not the average unknowledgeable auto consumer. I build motorcycles as a hobby and am very mechanical. I state this because I am concerned about their other customers who don't know how to check if their tires were really rotated or their oil changed or their brake pads are truly worn. Auto businesses like Performance Ford and Lincoln are what give the good ones a bad name.I now scheduling the same service, "The Works", including another oil change at another Ford Dealer.atfordofcharlotte

Contacted the dealer about one car and ended up looking at another was told needed co-signer got that and was told we had a deal placed my money down but did not have insurance had to wait another day contacted the dealer the next day after arranging insurance and was told all i needed was to come pick up the vehicle and go when i got to the dealership after working 8 hours was told that in order to receive the car had to put another large some down in order to receive the vehicle after being told earlier that everything was after being told this i decided to back out of the deal and ask for a refund of my down payment getting my down payment back was never told that it will take 3 to 5 days to receive i checked my account no refund then called dealer back to learn that it would be 3 to 5 business days before receiving it which it only took one night to take it out long story short if dealing with this dealership make sure you have a deal before the bank close

I have purchased 2 cars from them since 9/2014. I traded in my F150 on 10/31/2015 and purchased a new mustang. When I traded in I submitted paperwork to have the warranty refunded from the F150. After a month of no response or refund I took it to the executive level. So my warranty was 72 months and 100,000 miles. Doing the calculations I should have received a refund of $1220. On 1/18 I received a refund of $896. Now I can understand a simple mistake but after 75 days I would hope that the issue would be resolved quickly. Since the 18th I have had no response to my calculations via text or email. Multiple emails to Steve Schell as well as execadmin (i think that is the owners assistant) have gone silent.They did the calculations incorrectly and I am out $324 and they wont even respond. In the last 18 months I have spent over $100,000 on Ford vehicles and now I am just in the dark. As a sales manager in a different industry, I would fire someone that thinks a solid customer is just a waste of timeWorst post sales experience I have ever had, at any company. Ever. DO yourself a favor and take a drive to a different ford dealer. You see examples of this all over teh internet with these guys

Last week (Thursday), January 14, 2016, I went to Performance Ford to have my oil/filter change. This was after 4:00 PM. Liza happened to be there at the car express service office, and she attended to my car needs. I also mentioned to her that a tire was leaking air because every two or three weeks, I had to put air on my tires. She told me that all tires would be checked in which service is regularly included whenever there is an oil change. After I waited, she came to the waiting room and said that my car was ready. Then she handed me the nail-like object that caused the air leak in the tire, and she had that particular tire repaired as well. I was amazed how good the service was. I could not thank Liza enough because the service means a lot to me. I don't have to put money in the air pump and it is such a hassle as well to dirty my hands in the process, which I did for many months. In addition, the mechanic had my car washed. Liza Santana and Performance Ford made my day!

I was given a price by their internet director over the phone for a used Dodge Ram truck. She told me what the price would be and I asked her to send me over the documents so I could put down a deposit. I had to wait over 24 hours before I was finally contacted by a different salesman, who know told me he had no record of that previous price and that all pricing had gone up $2,000 overnight due to "supply and demand". I asked what had happened to my previously agreed upon amount and he said it was no longer available. This deceptive method of bait and switch pricing is why most people dread having to buy a car. This dealership is one of the most dishonest companies I have ever dealt with, both in and out of the automotive market. Steer clear!!!

I came in on 12/28 because my temp tag fell off and was told we need the car back .... apparently they issued me a temp tag , and keys to a car that wasnt mine after the congrats speach by the salesman . 12/28/2015 My wife made an appointment for 8am on the Saturday after Christmas, there was an engine rattle an i thought it was the engine mounts. The manager on staff, Rick, told my wife he also thought it was the engine mount and told my wife the guy who does that was not in that day and she should make an appointment for monday. My wife made appointment for monday at 8am, explaining my wife and i share the car and would need it back as soon as they could. I dropped the car off Monday, 12/28/2015 and they kept it for 6 hours with no word. my wife and i both tried to call up there and just got the run around and when i finally got upset enough to drive up there, they had not even looked at my car. WHY MAKE AN APPOINTMENT AT 8AM IF IT TAKE 6 HOURS TO NOT EVEN LOOK AT IT. WORST SERVICE I EVER RECEIVED. At the end i just got a "hey sorry" from the service staff, Liza and Mindy. I wish i could do more than just complain, its not just the wasted two days or the fact that i still dont know what is wrong with my car, it is the feeling that i absolutely don't matter, that they left me with. They were not helpful, they offered no solutions, they jsut made me wait 10 minutes to get my keys back and continued to help everyone around me while offering a "hey sorry" under their breath.

We went down to Performance Ford Lincoln Charlotte to check out a great deal on a Mustang. We had been looking for a less bulky car to upgrade our Lincoln Navigator. There is NOTHING worse than being met by a "used-car salesman work ethic and manner" and so when we were approached on the lot by Michael B. we were welcomed with a warm and friendly, non-salesy approach, which we were SO appreciative to experience. We for one, dislike salespeople and avoid dealerships for this reason. We informed Michael that we had enquired online and spoke a rep. He escorted us to the office for further assistance, all the while maintaining the most friendliest conversation. At the office we were introduced to another Michael. Unfortunately, he made us feel uncomfortable and so I said to my husband that we had to leave NOW, when Michael #2 left to take care of some information for us. 20 mins later he returned, and again left because he had NOT taken care of our stuff at all, and again left for another 20 mins. We stood around waiting... After nearly an hour of waiting around we were introduced to Mr Glen Self. Glen was very friendly, quiet spoken, and on task. He exuded intellect and was light on his feet to accomplish things for us. He went above and beyond to help us get exactly the deal we were after without forcing us into a corner and without breaking us out of our financial comfort zones. He stood by us, kept us company while we waited for transactions to be processed, and even gifted us with beverages and snacks as needed. We had our 2 little girls with us and they were very irritable after an hour of waiting around, so Glen's manner and friendliness helped sooth their moods too. All we can say is THANK YOU Glen Self for your amazing service. You ought to be Salesperson of the Year! You made our transition and upgrade so much easier. Happy Holidays!!!

As soon as I came into the store, they started harassing me on how I wanted to pay because they require you finance through them or they will add $1000 to the price. All this harassment (which is what it felt like) was even before I looked at the vehicle. Since I drove about 3.5 hours to see this car, I thought I would suck it up and deal with it, but the lousy customer service did not improve one bit.I can second on the other customer reviews -- poor customer service, annoying salesman habits holding your trade-in keys so you can't leave, $799 documentation fee?! which is not common and can be waived at other places, and they claimed to add $1600?! of treatment and cleaning to the vehicle, which was not advertised.I could have mustered up and paid their ridiculous fees, since they had the car I have been seeking for a while. However, they did not let me choose my own payment method, they were at the top of the price range already, and I did not trust a single person there. I have read most of the bad reviews here and can agree or have witnessed about 75% of them, so I won't repeat. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALER AT ALL! very shady

So.....they got me with the old bait and switch. I contacted this dealership about a vehicle I saw on the internet. I was told it was a great time to come down, all used vehicles were supposed to be going for thousands less than asking price, great sale, my fiance called separately and got the same spiel. I drove from Trinity to Charlotte, almost 2 hours with traffic, ready to buy this car if it was what it seemed. It was, the vehicle drove superbly, wow at 15,000 quoted over the phone as asking price, and this sale where all used vehicles are going for thousands less than asking price, so worth the drive. Until I find out I can get the car I want for 14,900, with 6k down. Oh wait, I can get a 2015 model for next to nothing down, drive off the lot. These people got me down there with the vehicle I wanted, at a great deal, changed the deal making the car nearly impossible to get and tried to press me into a brand new car purchase. Stereotypical sales ploy, by stereotypical sales people. Will not return!

trove from Columbia SC to Charlotte to see vehicle listed on internet at Performance Ford. Clicked on "Request Sale Price" for a vehicle listing for $25000 and was followed up with email from dealer stating the price listed is the price I will pay even though you can "Request Sale Price".... FALSE ADVERTISING at it's finest, so I still went and drove vehicle and the price had increased when I got there to $27000...BAIT AND SWITCH at it's finest. They offer me $5000 less than any of the previous dealerships in Charlotte and Columbia SC for the actual cash value not trade allowance. They deducted some BS fee of $1500 for "Reconditioning Fee" from my trade which was a joke because my trader was cleaner and in better shape than their vehicle since they had not buffed any scratches out or even detailed the car. I went to another dealer and purchased and got what made trade was worth to everyone else. Poor dealer and ripoff, buyer beware you will get a better deal somewhere. Salesman ,Reggie was professional not his fault, as usual its the sales manager trying to steal a car.

I went to the dealer for an oil change. The process went smoothly. Got my car back. However suddenly after the oil change, my car's mpg dropped drastically. I was shocked at what happened. And so, I booked another appointment and visited this place again. I was told to speak about my problems with an "expert". Well, atleast they claimed to be that. I narrated my story and to this the expert said "There's nothing much we can do. What kind of gas do you use? Why do you use premium gas? You're not supposed to use premium gas? Sorry, there are no tests that I can run to tell you why the mpg has dropped". I was shocked and I said, "If you don't know your cars, who will?" Had some more discussion and no word could persuade him or the other experts to actually believe my tale. So I had to just walk out of the service center in total disgust. I had to do some research myself to find out what went wrong. Got it fixed and my car's mpg has improved again. I dont think I want to visit this place ever again. I wouldn't recommend it to my friends.

In the beginning of my sales process things were going great. I was preapproved and talked with the manager for a set car payment. All I had to do was bring my license and proof of insurance to the dealership and finish paperwork. Plans were made Monday night and we were scheduled to pick up the car Wednesday since we were traveling from Atlanta to Charlotte on a busy schedule. Unfornately I received a phone call Tuesday night around 7:30pm stating that the car I was picking up had been sold. As you can believe I was incredibly shocked, especially since I spoke with the manager personally and he told me that my vehicle would be ready waiting for me and he would make sure to be there to help me with anything I needed. If this isn't poor customer service I don't what it. How can you tell a client that you will have their vehicle ready then turn around and sell it. The manager didn't even have the guts to call me himself! He had one of his salesman call me and tell me the horrible news. I don't know if this is a common thing at dealerships but that is sad! Of course after I received the phone call I immediately called the manager so I could see what was going on. After about calling 5 times and not getting through to anyone he finally answered and told me they don't hold vehicles. If that was the case he should of not promised me that the vehicle would be ready for me Wednesday morning! He basically lied to me and called me last minute about change of plans knowing I would be there the next day! I stated to him that I was highly upset and that they needed to find a vehicle for me ASAP. Since they have such wonderful customer service (sarcastic line) of course I never received a phone call back. SMH I wouldn't even recommend this dealership to my enemy.

IN AND OUT QUICK! Brought work laptop anticipating 1/2 day in spite of 1-2 duration estimate. Barely got started on work from lobby. Great interaction. Superb first encounter with Service Department. One suggestion I for a value add with vacuuming floor mats. What's a wash without a vacuum? Where I come from all car washes include vacuuming the vehicle cab. Second suggestion is to turn down the PA in the lobby especially at 7 am on a Saturday. Loud music competed with loud TV in service wait area. A little much. Noise, noise, noise...Just two suggestions...

Terrance Raynor did a great job as always. My only comment about the dealership in general is getting return calls when I leave a message. I happened to be on South Blvd. for another reason and ended up stopping in to make my service appointment after leaving 2 messages. I waited at least 20 minutes before being able to speak with Terrance and explain why I needed to bring the car in for service. I see this as as a short coming and was an inconvenience. Terrance did his best to make sure everything was addressed and the work was completed in a timely manner.

This dealer has a terrible staff of mechanics. I took my 2010 Explorer to get a differential seal repaired, and the car has never been the same since. When i picked the car up it missed, backfired, and was hard to start. The car has a howl in the drive train, which was not there before the "repair." Michael Harper got the car to run decently, but the howl is still there. Then I bought a new set of Michelins for the car (installation included alignment), and now I have a problem in the steering linkage (thumps & rattles). I would not recommend this dealer's service to anyone.

Michael Harper was extremely sensitive to our needs and especially not being able to be out of work for very long. A loaner car was ready upon arrival and we were kept well up to date on the progress of the service being done so that we could plan our day and especially for a pick up time. Additional problems were found and parts needed to ordered which was done expeditiously and again we were not out of any productive time at all. We were kept well updated during this process as well and when car was ready we learned that they detailed the car again even though it had been done a few weeks earlier.

They just treat you like a number. The sales staff is rude and doesn't seem to care about anything but making a sale. Every time I asked a question it was like I was bothering them.

I drove into Performance Ford on Monday afternoon 5/18/2015. I was greeted by Albert Paille. I told Albert what I was looking for and that I did not want to do a special order. I wanted to buy a new 2015 set up as I needed, and asked if he could locate one for me. Albert found exactly what I was looking for early the next day, and there were only 2 to be had on the East coast. The one I wanted was located at a ford dealer in New York. Albert said if I wanted it he could have it for me here in Charlotte, NC Friday afternoon (3 Days!). The car was delivered in perfect shape, no hassles at all. Albert Paille did exactly as he said he would do! I'm a happy customer. Albert wants to sell cars, and it shows. He goes the extra mile and delivers.

I had been looking for a used car for several weeks, I don't have the best credit so I didn't think I had the option of going to a big dealership. Everything I had found on other car lots had very high miles and a high price. I saw a car on Performance Ford website that was good price. I emailed them for more details and the next day was contacted by a sale associate. I set up a appointment for that weekend. Arrived Saturday car was setting up front clean and ready for me to test drive. I really liked the car and explained to the sale associate that my credit was not the best. There finance team got me a loan with a payment I could afford. Everything was very easy, no games about the price of the car, terms of the loan. I was probably there for about 2 hours total from test drive to signing the paperwork. I would definitely buy another vehicle from them in the future.

I contacted internet sales at Performance Ford in an attempt to find or purchase a Chevrolet Avalanche. Jean "Maurice" Ediamen answered my call for an Avalanche with a specific set of options. On that Friday morning Maurice and I spoke about the truck. I told Maurice that I would arrive later that evening, to view the truck. . When I arrived we met with Maurice, I took the truck for a quick test drive, and in no time at all, I was headed back home in a beautiful black Avalanche. This was about the tenth dealership I've visited, I have been pleased to find and purchase this truck at Performance Ford, but this was by far my best experience. If you are in the market for a new or used vehicle, call Performance Ford and ask for Maurice Ediamen. Who would have ever thought I'd find the right truck at a Ford dealership.

We visited another dealer in the area and were far from pleased with their level of service and inventory, so we left and went to Performance Ford Lincoln. The minute we walked in the door we were greeted warmly, introduced to Ryan Friday and offered coffee. He listened intently to our needs, checked the abundant inventory on hand at Performance and proceeded to pull every one that matched our needs right up to the storefront one by one. He did this because on that particular day it was raining quite persistently and he didn't want me to have to get wet while I was trying to view the cars. Such a small gesture, but it spoke volumes as to the high level of care and service being provided and it continued the rest of the evening. Ryan was very knowledgable about the car and it's features when I had questions, so it made my decision effortless and with Ryan and Corey's help, we also achieved the price we were committed to. We had a check in hand, so no dealer financing was needed and the documentation process was seamless. Our Sync account was set up right there for us, and Ryan, as well as, a handful of amazing staff were so gracious enough to occupy our two boys while we finished the paperwork process, which at that point, was leading late into the evenings when most of them should have already been home for the night. Everyone was wonderful and we will definitely recommend them, as well as, go back to them for any needs we may encounter in the future. (FYI: To my knowledge, Gaither Hendrix did not assist in our purchase, Ryan Friday did, but it would not allow me to submit this review without selecting that name.)

I contacted internet sales at Performance Ford in effort to hopefully purchase a new Ford Fusion. Luckily Jean Ediamen answered my call and and for a full week worked with me to help me obtain the car I was looking for with a specific set of options. On that Friday morning Jean and I spoke about the car, and agreed on a sales price (very fair price I must add). I told Jean I would arrive that evening at 5:30 to finalize the deal. When I arrived, the car was ready, paperwork was prepared as much as possible, we took a quick test drive and in less than an hour and a half I was headed back home. This was the third new car I have been lucky enough to purchase, but this was by far my best experience. If you are in the market for a new Ford, call Performance Ford and ask for Jean Ediamen.

Had an ongoing problem with pulley wheel and tension wheel bolts bending .... each time the issue came up .... We could not open the door of our MKC, called Performance Ford Lincoln, spoke with Michael Harper and he suggested we contact Lincoln Roadside Assistance and when the car was driveable bring it to Performance. Roadside Assistance was at our home within 30 minutes and soon had us up and running (they relayed to us that our battery was very weak). After they left we took the car to Performance Ford and met with Michael Harper. He took our vehicle and gave us a loaner to use until our MKC was repaired. Michael told us the battery cables were loose and he had checked the battery to make sure it was OK. We had already received the recall for the MKC so Michael arranged for it to be done that day. Our total experience with Performance Ford Lincoln was great and all involved were very professional, but we do think Michael went above and beyond to make our experience satisfying.

I was coming from a bad day from another dealership who just wouldn't work with me or my budget. In a instant preformance ford was willing to help by putting a smile on my face and listening to me. My son and I stopped in because the engine light came on and Terrance Raynor sat down with us to ask what was wrong and what the vehicle was doing. He then pulled the van in to the mechanic and after a reasonable wait came out and explained in detail what was wrong and what needed to be done. We had a nearly 2 hour drive back home but the van would take a couple of days to fix so Terrance gave us a loaner vehicle at no charge and told us he would have the van delivered to us and the loaner picked up NOW THATS SERVICE!!!! During the week of 2/8/15 I found a used car I liked at Performance and sent an email to confirm availability. Visited the dealer on sat. 2/14, saw the car on the way in and walked straight to it. Did a walk around, stood around for a few minutes, walked across the lot to look at other cars and back to it, again standing around for a few minutes before anyone greeted us. The girl that finally came up to us was polite enough, asked if we'd been helped and I replied no and asked a question; her response was "I don't know, I'm just the greeter..." and she wandered off to find a salesman. The salesman finally made his way out, greeted us and asked if we had any questions. Told him I was looking at the car I was standing beside (for the last 10 minutes) and wanted to get a look inside. He didn't have the key on him so had to wander back inside and get it and back out. He was in no hurry the entire time. When he returned I asked a question about potential accidents as the finish of the car was pretty beat-up for a 4-year old car. Instead of answering my question he shoved the carfax print-out at me. Little to no conversational skills, he offered no information about the car, when I asked about test driving he basically shoved the keys at us and got in. He sat in the back silently; my fiancee tried to make conversation by asking how long he had been selling cars and he took offense like we were questioning his sales ability. We finished up and left. I followed up with some questions via a phone call to the "internet sales manager" who had originally answered my email. She promised she or the salesman would get back to me with the answers (which shouldn't have taken more than 5 or 10 minutes). 6 hours later no phone call, no email. I sent an email to follow up and she replied almost immediately with the answers. I replied back expressing my concerns about the paint on the car and the stains on the interior leather and asked what could be done to protect my purchase if I decided to buy, and what sort of flexibility they might have on price. Her response was that it was typically wear for a vehicle (far from it) and that they were "all in" at the price listed. The car has been on the lot for 90 days at that same price and they were unwilling to negotiate. I called again, looking for the used car sales manager to confirm that they were indeed nonnegotiable on the price and that they thought the finish was typical of a 4-year old car. He was unavailable, but they put me through to his cell phone; it left a voicemail with all my info, the stock number of the car and asked for a call back. I then emailed him, forwarding the string with the internet sales manager, again including my info and asked for a call back. That was two days ago, no response. I really liked the vehicle and I'm ready to buy but the whole experience has turned me off of this dealership. My fiancee has said she doesn't care if they mark the car down 50%, she won't deal with them and I'm inclined to agree at this point. It's kinda sad as I was pretty excited about that car. It seems like their lack of service is a systemic issue that needs to be addressed from the top down. I can only hope the GM sees this and effects some change, unfortunately I'll probably never know...

OH NO!! Michael Harper is not in today and he always takes care of me. Michael is a true professional but a person truly dedicated to customer service. And he never forgets your name. I called ahead and spoke to Terrance Raynor letting him know I was coming in. How will this service visit go without Michael I wondered. By the time I arrived, Terrance had looked up my car in the computer and found I was consistent in using Performance for my service needs. He knew all about my situation and had a courtesy car ready for my use. A big smile greeted me and he assured me that he would see that my issues were resolved. When I asked him to see if my favorite mechanic, Bobby would be able to diagnose my problem, he made sure that happened and I was very pleased. Now, I know I am in good hands with Terrance., Michael and Bobby. What a great service TEAM!!

I recently brought my Explorer in for service because an alert came on about leaking brake fluid. Micheal Harper was very quick to help me out, and was able to diagnose the problem quickly and effectively. I made an online request for an internet price for a car. After several emails and phone calls from the dealership I received a text from Nashanda Johnson (I did not ask to receive text from the dealership). 1st I felt that the text was completely inappropriate saying Hey ...... how's your day? Only reason I know who it was because I had cross referenced the number to the email Nashanda had sent. 2nd When I did arrive to the dealership I was put in touch with a sales man. He took all of my info on the car I wanted and said he was going to pull the car around so we could test drive. 10 minutes later, another sales man took over for him, then again I had to explain the car that I wanted to him. After the test drive, yet again I was put off to another sales man. Really guys???? After chasing down all of my information from the previous sales people we were finally able to make some progress. After evaluation of my trade, the sales man came back and said that I would have to contact them on Monday due to the negative equity in my trade. I do know that I have negative equity in my trade, but there was NO further discussion on price, trade allowance, and down payment. This was by far the WORST experience I have ever encountered at any car dealership. I reached out to Nashanda on Monday and inquired on the status of the process. She said Cory was working out the details and she would call me back in 45 minutes. Tuesday morning at 11 am I receive a phone call from her, and yet again still working out the details. At this point I am completely done with the run around and being put off. I have bought several new cars in the past 3 years, and plan on making an additional 2-3 new purchase this year, but it wont be at this dealership!

I found a car online and went into the dealership the next day to check it out. The initial sales rep was friendly and joined my father and I for the test drive. The car rode smooth enough, but it was priced high (as the advertised price was only halftrue) and there were features I did not care for. As soon as we were back in the door the sales manager 'Bobby Jessup' tried to bully us into buying the car on the spot! He didn't want to hear any of the questions I had about the model, it's availability or price. Most of the conversation was him saying "I don't know.. do we have a deal?!" The more questions I asked, the more irate the man became. I wanted a minute to talk it over with my parents who would be sharing the financial burden, but after only 5 minutes of discussion Bobby eventually kicked the chair and walked away! Even after the incident, when the junior salesman was apologizing, I could visibly see Bobby shaking his head at my father and I and muttering to his colleagues. We were only 10ft away and hadn't said no to anything!! I've worked in the hospitality business for years and have NEVER been so shocked and offended by someone's behavior. Notice his name is not in any of the other reviews, he was completely rude and unhelpful. By far the worst shopping experience I've ever had. I had fully intended on buying a vehicle from Performance, but they refused to work with us- didn't look up any other models or prices on the lot or at nearby locations. How lazy is that?! Didn't care about us and what we were looking for in a car. And to top it off, I spoke later with an HR rep that justified the manager's "rude" behavior and who said I was "short sighted" for letting one salesman ruin my experience.. Well I do not reward rudeness with profit. There is NO customer service here and no reason to give them your business when better (more enjoyable) experiences exist. I did not let this experience turn me off of getting a Ford Focus. I went to the Town and Country Ford on Independence Blvd and had an AMAZING experience. There, the reps are salary and not commission based, our rep stayed with us for THREE hours to ensure we walked out with something we loved. I honestly paid about the same as I would have at Performance, but the experience at Town and Country is FAR worth it.

I lost power steering on my 2007 MKZ and had it towed to Performance Lincoln. When the car was assessed they found that a rodent got into my engine and chewed through the power steering system and other expensive engine parts! Micheal Harper in the service department was extremely helpful and explained exactly what was damaged and the cost to repair everything. Richard was very kind to show the car and whatever it entailed to make me comfortable. He was attentive and listened to me. The car was spotless and he waited until the moment I left the parking lot driving the car away.Please be aware though with the Accountant who prepared the papers for signature. He inserted figures and changed some. I came back the next day to correct and cut the unnecessary charge. Whatever the Sales Director say in the negotiation, watch the bottom line on the papers that you are signing: changes occurred and made payment much higher than anticipated through the accountant/finance person.

I purchased a 2013 Ford Fusion from this dealership in February 2014. The purchase process was standard issue negotiations. The bad came when waiting for them to send payoff to my trade-in finance company. It took much longer than normal for them to process and payoff the previous loan. It doesn't end there. I requested to cancel my vehicle extended warranty and prepaid service contract on September 3 of this year to Wes Downey, then current Finance Manager. He assured me this would be taken care of. I left 2 voicemails, and spoke to him on the phone once over the next 30days. No action was taken on my refund. After a 41 day wait, I decided to show up in person at the dealership. A new Finance Manager named Ken(last name slips my mind) found out my refund had never been processed, and it would be approximately 4 more weeks to get it taken care of. I asked Ken to please keep me in the loop on this and to let me know when the check is mailed. This was on October 14th. Today is December 15th and my loan STILL has not been credited and I have heard nothing from Ken. This is beyond rediculous to have to wait over 3 months for a simple warranty/service contract refund. They make it a point o want your money as quick as possible and bend over backwards prior to the sale. Their service after the sale is severely lacking, and I would not recommend anyone do business with them based on my experience. I would also recommend they fire every person in the accounting/payoff/refund department and hire people who are competent and can get the job done in a timely manner. I have left a message with Ken as of today. We will see how quickly they take care of this(past experience is not in their favor). My next option will be to show up at the dealership this week, and not leave until I have a check in my hand. Be warned. Unless they fix their issues, stay away.

Erin Roberts was very courteous, professional, attentive, and friendly! We had communicated via email and phone prior to my visit. Once I arrived at the dealership, Erin gave me prompt attention. Due to my work/family schedule, I didn't have much time and didn't want to go through the traditional song and dance that most sales people give. She listened to my desires in a vehicle and produced just what I was looking for! She was very receptive, efficient, and respective of my time. Overall, I would rate Erin as an excellent sales person and would refer others to her. Once I was transferred to the finance department, my experience wasn't as efficient. Though my representative was friendly, the process seemed to go slowly. Though I was assured that I had signed all of my paperwork and would not have to return, I had to return twice more over the next couple weeks. Aside from Erin (who communicated quickly and throroughly with me via call/text), my experience with service after my initial visit was to be desired. I called the dealership numerous occasions, but was never able to speak with the person I needed to. Also, on the day of my last visit, the receptionist completely ignored me (not even acknowledging I was standing in front of her) and continued to speak on the phone (which was a non-business related call). The finance manager I was suppose to speak with passed me off to another individual (Sandy, who was excellent). Tired and frustrated, I almost left the dealership. Fortunately, Sandy provided me with excellent service and was very considerate of my time and concerns. I would rate my experience with Sandy as excellent as well! I gave an overall rating of 'average' due to my experience with service after the sale. I would definitely recommend Erin Roberts (sales) and Sandy (finance), but suggest the rest of the team needs improvement with their customer service.

My husband and I went to Performance Ford Lincoln to look at cars 2 weeks ago. While test driving one of the Explorers, my husband dropped his license in the vehicle. Our sales associate Nashanda text messaged him 2 days later to let him know that another salesman had found his license and that it would be at the front desk. My husband went in the very next day to get his license, but it was not at the front desk and no one could find it. They said that they would keep looking for it, but never got back to us. On the Monday following Thanksgiving, I called and left a message for Nashanda and then called her manager, Cory Cadden to explain the story. I also explained that my husband sent away for a new license (that would take 14 days to come in) and went to DMV, but was only issued a temp paper license and that he has to be on a business trip next week and needs his license to get on the plane. I told him that I was going to give the dealership a horrible review on here, but was giving him the opportunity to make it better before I did. He assured me that he would get on top of it and find out what was going. WELL, that was 3 days and 3 voicemails ago. Not one person from the dealership has ever gotten back to us to give us an update or let us know that they definitely did lose his license. When I call back to speak to general managers, I just get voicemails. I would NEVER recommend this dealership as they are unorganized, unreliable and completely unprofessional. I'm glad I purchased my Ford Explorer elsewhere. I am writing a letter to Ford Corporate to let them know about my experience. I am livid.

The purchase went fine. Erin Roberts was easy to work with, the usual offering of this price and then pigeon holing you into insurance you don't need after you have already agreed to a price is common but none the less annoying. It appears however that once they have made a sale they no longer care about you as a customer. They failed to notify me when they received plates, my temp has expired and they refused to help me out until the plates arrive in the mail. They also refused to acknowledge the fact that they did not notify me of having the plates treating me very poorly.The first person I spoke with referred me to another person whom referred me to another person. This last person would not accept any responsibility. I am moving out of state and now have an invalid license plate. I do have valid tags as I have fulfilled my part but Performance Ford does not care about the customer once their sale is made.I do not recommend this dealership to anyone. You are much better off going some place else.

I was very impressed with everything at the Performance Ford/Lincoln Dealership. Since I have purchased my Ford car I have been to dealerships throughout North Carolina, Virginia, and Florida. Performance Ford dealership has set the bar high for any dealership I may go to in the future. I was assisted by Anabell Starnes and she was a fantastic liaison between myself in the waiting area and the repairs that were being done on my vehicle. She was very polite and professional the entire time. It was a busy morning in the dealership and she was sure to keep everyone updated on what is going on with their vehicles, how soon they would be ready, and any follow on repairs that may be needed. Her customer service skills and diligence to duty in the dealership were astounding. She has the ability to perform at a higher level. I have not been to a dealership previously that goes out of their way to keep you updated and comfortable. Anabell is a great asset to the Performance Ford team. I have been in a managerial position in my workplace for some time now and immediately could sense her work ethic while helping me in the service station. If I had the ability to hire an employee like Anabell Starnes I would do so immediately if not sooner. I was very impressed with the quickness and cleanliness of the repairs done. All the facilities and customer areas were very clean and family friendly as well. After all repairs were complete they ran my car through the car wash and I was on my way. I had an excellent experience at Performance Ford and would recommend it to anyone.

Mark Scott was the man for me. I had been to a few dealerships and no one was willing to assist me. I felt like O would not ever get a vehicle. By the time I looked in the auto book (the one you get from the grocery store) I was at my wits in. I called the number listed made an appintment, (which was so quick an easy)Next day I came into the dealership and what do I see my name on the BIG board (loved that). Mark said hello as soon as the receptionist verified who I was (she was nice) here comes Mark with a big smile. Now coming from a background where I spoke to rude dealers or dealers that tried to swindle me I was apprehensive as one would be. But you know what Mark Scott made sure I knew he was not just trying to put me in any type of car. I tild him what I could pay and Mark said ok let me look at some things and we can go from there. Now I can go on and on with how excellent Mark was and still is a great dealer to work with. Service from Terrance Raynor was great and the shuttle servic was really helpful.. But I'm not that happy with Ford in general or some of the charges that I had to pay.Having problems with my FX4 ecoboost, not running that great, gas mileage is down plus keeps going into limp mode. They are continuing to work on the truck with hopes they can get it back to normal. On my bill they now charge a tire excise tax...What the heck is that for 5 bucks and charged 33 bucks for shop supplies. If its not warranty work be prepared to pay big!

My wife's van was recently totalled and we needed a new vehicle. We found a Dodge Grand Caravan on their site and I put an inquiry in late Tuesday night. Early Wednesday I was contacted by Nashanda Johnson who setup an appointment for me to see it at 6:30. I showed up 2 hours early and was greeted by the wonderful staff and Nashanda came right down to see me. The facilities were immaculate and there was no pressure to purchase. After seeing the vehicle I decided to purchase. The process was smooth and hassle free. The facilities were immaculate and Nashanda was amazing. The only issue I had was that just after I drove away the oil change light came on. Happens. I would recommend this dealership to anyone. They really are amazing.

The price changed several times within the time frame of completing my purchase. I had some concerns and contacted one of the managers who was incredibly rude, sarcastic, and unprofessional. If you are looking for a pleasant car buying experience I would not recommend this dealership.

I found the truck I wanted on their website and contacted Mike Muckenfuss. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about every aspect of the truck. He even got me pre-approved over the phone so the buying process wouldn't take so long when I got there.Even had the truck freshly washed and waiting in front of the dealership when I got there. Kenny Wynn is great, signing the papers was actually very entertaining because of his quick wit and great sense of humor. I got a beautiful truck at a very reasonable price. The place was spotlessly clean. This is just a great place to buy a vehicle. Even though I live 3 1/2 hours away, I have been telling everyone I know about Performance Ford. I saw an F-150 online and called the dealership to verify it was still there. They said "yes it is, come on down." Siah, the sales rep that I had talked to met me, said hello and then left. After 20 mins, another person came by, said hello and then they left. After 45 mins of sitting there I talked with the manager (who had seen me sitting there for 40 mins) and he finally got someone to help me. Ok, poor start, but I was still interested in the truck. Dan, the sales guy who helped me was actually very nice. He apologizes for the delay even though it wasn't his fault and goes to get the truck. After 10 mins he comes back and tells me that the truck has a couple of issues that kept it from passing inspection and that he is unable to sell it to me like that. He says the "repairs" will be $800-1000 and tells me he'll see if he can still honor the online price. His manager hears that and immediately comes over and tells me that I'd be responsible for the extra repair costs even though none of this was noted online nor was I told about this when I called to verify that the vehicle was available. He "apologizes" for the mistake that his IT department made in posting the car for sell online. So, by now I've wasted an hour sitting the dealership. No alternatives were offered to me and I left. On a positive note, the facilities were nice ... however, I wouldn't recommend hanging out there for an hour.

Performance Ford Lincoln did not hold up their end of our deal when we purchased our Acadia. Since the Acadia we wanted to buy from them was advertised as having a DVD system, we expected that it would be a DVD system that was in working order, but it was not. They agreed to write us a check to pay for a replacement DVD system. That was on August 16. It is now October 6 and we have yet to receive the check. Anytime we call or drop in to inquire about the check, we are given the run around. Steer clear of this dealership!

There is no better Service Representative for Lincoln than Michael Harper of Performance Ford/Lincoln. I have been working with Michael for the past 2 years for service on my 2012 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid. I have had Audis, Acuras, Saabs, and Volkswagens in the past, and can compare the quality of the service advisors and the mechanical repairs needed with that of Michael Harper's at Performance Ford/Lincoln. Michael is the consumate service representative. He always is able to answer questions, schedule times that are convenient for me, and explain the significance of the work needed (mostly just service at specific mileage intervals, since the Lincoln MKZ Hybrid has been flawless at 30,000 miles). Michael just doesn't enter the information required into the computer, he LISTENS attentively and makes sure that he understands any issues or concerns I might have. He is proactive; he noted that on my last visit, my tires needed balancing because some of the weights had fallen off. This I had not known and I have never had that kind of attention paid to my car at any previous dealer. Because of the Michael's quality, the quality of the mechanics at Performance Ford, and the sense of ownership that Michael takes in providing service to his customers, my next automobile will be bought at Performance Ford/Lincoln.

If you go here please secure financing while you are there. You sign a paper where its basically telling you that if financing is not approved after a couple as in two searches then you would either bring the vehicle back and get your money back or find financing elsewhere. Well i inquired about this as im signing paperwork telling the finance director we do not want this car if we have no financing now, well we were assured everything was done. This was in July we were told we were leaving the dealership with financing already done, mind you this car was for my son, ok fast so in mid august we still have not heard anything from the credit union we were supposed to be financed through so i called the dealership to be told we needed to come in and redo paperwork because we were not Financed!!!!! Im livid, so we redo paperwork to be told this deal is done we have you guys with another credit union, so during this waiting time we got the tag for the car, paid property tacts and everything. I became interested in the new Ford Transit Connect Wagon, so I stopped by on a Friday afternoon to just get a quick visual of this vehicle. The salesman, Walon Dixon, who was happy to show it to me was very pleasant and accommodating with my quick visit. There was no pressure for me to move any further in the process. I told him I would return the next morning with my wife. We returned, took a test drive and a thorough go over of the van. We purchased it! From the salesman all the way through the finance, with Vince Jefferson, it was indeed the best buying experience I have ever had with any dealership and over 25 years of vehicle purchases.

After being told by Firestone that I needed $1700 in repairs I decided to get a second opinion. I then took my 2006 Ford Escape Hybrid to another shop that does work on Hybrids. The service there was excellent but due to the feedback they got from the diagnostic, they recommended that I go to Performance Ford on South Blvd. Now on my 3rd shop, I was feeling pretty frustrated and extremely worried about the amount of repairs and cost! I was immediately greeted by Keith Cheatham and he quickly worked to calm me down. Keiths customer service was excellent and I especially appreciated the extra time he took to explain to me the details of my situation. It turns out that Firestone triggered an issue in my vehicle by improperly changing the battery, the one they claimed I needed so desperately. Keith was able to rectify the situation and it only cost me $130. Having a special vehicle like a Hybrid does required trained technicians and I am glad I found one at Performance Ford. I also appreciate the extra effort Keith made to put me at ease, educate me about my situation and reinforce the need to have a trained Ford Hybrid technician work on my Escape. THANK YOU for not taking advantage of me!

I would have to say, that my experience with Performance Ford was very pleasant. My son, Jack was purchasing his first car and always wanted a "Tang". I went to the dealership to cosign for a 2010 Ford Fusion when I noticed this bright yellow Tank in front of the dealership. He felt he could not afford it because it was so nice. As it turned out, the dealership worked very hard on the numbers to reach a payment that was acceptable to him and his finance situation.I have and will continue to recommend Mike Muckenfuss and Performance Ford of Charlotte, NC to all my friends looking for a new or used vehicle.

Beware! After several phone calls they accepted the price I was willing to pay for a car for my daughter. So my husband and I brought her to drive it. While there my husband decided he wanted to lease their top of the line Lincoln and they were to come up with a lease price for him by the following morning. All was good. After running my credit and coming up with an awesome interest rate they decided that they had too much money into the car to sell it to me for what they had agreed to as when they brought me the papers to sign it was for $2500 more! I seriously have never been so insulted and we immediately walked out. They lost two sales from us due to their deception! It is practices like this that keep the stereotypes of used car dealerships alive and well! Today we bought a similar car with less miles and more upgrades for the price Performance Ford originally agreed to.

Do yourself a favor, if you see "Performance Ford Lincoln" run away as fast as you can, you DO NOT want to do business with this company. Early in July, I walked into Performance Ford and spotted a car I wanted. I regretted the moment I decided to purchase that Ford car. The initial attention was given promptly and the sales man (Mr. Chip Harris) was very nice at the beginning, but that was the only good thing I have to say about this company. Their business practices are horrible, not to mention their customer service (if that even exist there). There wasn't a single thing they could get right. I had been pre-approved by a credit union so I did not need financing. However, they insisted on looking for other financing options and made several (not sure yet how many) hard pulls of my credit. I had issues with my vehicle, which I ended paying more to get it fixed. My temporary tag expired and I found out that they hadn't filled the paperwork. It took hours of my time to resolve the issue (after having threatened them to take this issue to court and thanks to the only person that seems to care about customer service in there, we got this matter straighten out in a few hours. Her name is Tina Hayes. I really appreciate her assistance). After talking to Tina, we talked to the Sales Manager (Yoseph Alejandro) to let him know about our concerns of how things were handle and the reason for them for pulling out my credit so many times. He is the most disrespectful person ever; he was on his phone texting during the time he talked to us. He didn't apologize for the way I had been treated. I also felt that I was treated differently and somewhat felt some discrimination against me (I am a young Hispanic business professional who has an accent in English but comprehend and speak the language very well. I have an MBA degree from a university in the U.S.) My intent by sharing my experience is to prevent others from going through all the burdens I went through. I wish I would have known better about this company and one lesson I take from this experience is that I would never ever purchase a Ford car again; I should have bought my car through a Toyota or Nissan Dealership, who stand for what their brand represents and know the value of taking care of a customer. It's difficult to summarize the entire burden I went through with this dealership. I just hope you don't become another victim of them... and now you know.. if you see Performance Ford, run... run away that's the best advice I can give you now.

Buyers beware!! Worst car buying experience ever. They took longer than they were supposed to for everything. My trade in was paid off late, my new car was registered after 30 days, and all they did was avoid me, and lie to me. Trying to reach someone was a nightmare. Nobody will take or return your calls. Then when you throw a big enough fit that someone gets on the phone, all they do is lie. I ended up having to file complaints with the BBB, and the North Carolina Attorney Generals office to get everything resolved. I wouldn't recommend Performance Ford under any circumstances. I purchased a 2014 Ford Explorer that was brand new. I love my Explorer, cant stand Performance Ford!

This particular dealership sold me a great car at a great price, BUT I will not recommend them for service on my, your, or any vehicle. My last three visits have not been without incident: $136 out of my pocket for parts that went missing after a repair there on the first visit, spin-off/splatter all over the side of my car from excess tire cleaner not wiped away on the second visit (plus dirty rags left in floorboard), and being charged $59.74 for "The Works" oil change advertised at $39.95 (the service customer rep said it was because my car needed 6, not 5 quarts of oil . . . even with all the cursory add-on fees, taxes, that was still an expensive quart of oil) on the third last visit. While all the staff were friendly and courteous on each and every visit, I will have try to find a dealer that can service my vehicle without any negative post-service effects. Three consecutive incidents of less-than-quality care and customer follow-up have this dealership "struck-out at the home plate" as far as this customer is concerned. Any suggestions as to where else I can take my car? It's still covered under warranty plus has an extended warranty/service package. Any information as to an alternative will be greatly appreciated.

Longer post, but please read The reason I titled this Great People, Questionable Service is because I recently bought a used car from them and the people there and the buying process was great. The whole process was really long but other than that no complaints. They worked with me on a few things I wanted done before I bought the car and were very accommodating. Questionable Service - I wanted tires put on the car. It was a used car and it had bald tires on it and I was not going to buy a used (New to me) car with bald tires for me to then go the next day and spend 900.00 on tires. So the Manager came out and worked with me on that and I told him that I would most likely be in to buy the car the next day. The next day, I called them about 3:00 and told them I was going to come and buy the car. They were very nice and said they would have it washed/serviced and the tires changed before I got there. When I got there I looked at the car which was being detailed at the time and I also gave the ""New"" Tires a look over. They were a little worn but had 50-60% left in them, so I was happy. On the drive home the tire pressure light came on, the next day I took it to Discount Tire Co. they do free air checks and other small free services. They informed me that my tires were 7 years old. Of course I was said WHAT... and sure enough they were that old. When I looked really close they were in fact in the beginning stages of dry rotting/cracking. I do lots of relatively heavy boat hauling with family and friends, so I was not happy that they put 7 year old, almost dry rotting tires on my car. So, I called Performance Ford that day and they again were very accommodating and said "Sir bring it back and we will make it right" My mother brought it back since I had to work the next day and waited 2 hours for them to drive my car to a Tire Depot up the street to change the tires. The tires were about the same tread but only a couple years old. So again, I could live with it. At this point I or someone in my immediate family had been in their dealership for about 8-9 hours over the course of 3 days. I come out of work today and I have a flat tire. So again I called them and they said "Sir we are tired of dealing with this situation bring it back and we will put brand new tires on it." Which is great, but that should have happened the first time. So I will now have gone back to the dealership 4 times for essentially the same issue. They should have put new tires on it in the first place, especially since that was "Worked" into the deal. Overall I had a decent experience, but would have to say I would not immediately recommend this dealership due to the time I have spent dealing with the after affects of bad service. Sorry for the long post but I had to get it out. Again, great people, but questionable service.

I am a professional female in her late 30's that walked in already knowing that I was interested in a Lincoln MKZ Hybrid. In essence I was fairly low hanging fruit for any salesman. Even knowing that, the salesman still interacted with me as though I was a man interested in a pick up truck - not a professional wanting a luxury sedan. We were never on the same page as far as discussing features. He clearly didn't know his product and on a few occasions gave misinformation about the vehicle. The sales process took over 5 hrs, across 2 nights. I had to sign paperwork multiple times because the appropriate contracts weren't available and then there were printer issues. Even worse, details agreed upon at the negotiating table (such as 15K miles/yr instead of 12k) were not carried through to the 'signing' table. When I attempted to hold my ground they tried to coerce me into signing the papers anyway by stating "don't worry about the miles, we'll get you out of your lease before your 3 yrs are up anyway". My salesman informed me that I would be receiving a survey regarding my car buying experience and if I rated any question less that Exceptional that would come out of his paycheck! Nothing like making your customer feel uncomfortable. Not to mention the fact that he never expressed any concern for wanting to know why I might rate a questions less than Exceptional... Sales/Finance Managers didn't follow through on commitments made to the customer. In fact, it was like an act of Congress to even get someone to return my phone call, never mind call me when they said they would. I have never experienced such buyer's remorse. I would give anything to get my dented, 6 yr old, Toyota with nearly 100k miles back.

I spent an entire Saturday purchasing a vehicle. Little did I know that this would not be the end of my transactions. The purchase too another 45 days to complete. I will start from the beginning. My husband was looking for a specific truck. This dealership received a truck they wanted us to look at. The dealership called us on a Friday asking us to come in on Saturday. We made an appointment with that person for 10am the next day. A half hour later another salesperson called us and asked if we were planning on coming in the next day and verified the appointment time. We were at the dealership at the correct appointment time. The original person who made the appointment was not in the dealership that day. They sent us to another salesman. This salesman took us all over the lot to try to find the truck that we were supposed to see that he had no idea where it was. The dealership is very large and we walked all over it. When we finally located the truck, it was up on a lift getting a repair to one of the arms under the truck. We were asked to return after lunch time to see the truck when it was on the ground. We returned around 12:30 and saw the truck. It was not cleaned yet, it had been traded into the dealership. We test drove the truck. We were not fully convinced we wanted the truck. The salesman suggested we test drive a few other trucks while they cleaned up this truck. We did that. The washing of the truck was taking a while. We decided to talk in the mean time about the value of the truck we were trading in. This took on another life of its own. About 3 different people came to look at the truck and get the info they needed to get a trade in value. We were in our truck in the heat the entire time this was gong on, with two young children too. Back and forth getting the trade in amounts took over an hour. During this time they ran our credit and told us a percentage that the new truck would be financed at. Finally the truck being washed came back around to us. We test drove the truck again. We decided to purchase the truck. The truck being traded was in my name and the new truck being purchased would be in my husband's name, so we both had to be in the financing office. We sat in the lobby of the showroom waiting on the salesman to get the papers together for us to sign to send to the finance office. We were given an amount that our payments would be based on the finance rate earlier. The salesman took about 30 minutes with us to go over the paperwork. We then sat another 30 minutes waiting on the finance person. When we were finally directed to the finance person, they began their paperwork. He told us there was no way we were getting the percentage rate we were told and that our payments would be more than we were told. We told him we needed to stay under what we planned to spend and that we would not have agreed to purchase the vehicle otherwise. He huffed at us and left the room to go talk to the person who quoted the rate. He came back in about 15 minutes later and said that they would be able to get the rate, but the monthly payment would be a bit more still than we were told. It wasn't quite as much as he had originally thought but just a bit, so we agreed and continued the paperwork. We were finally through with the purchase (so I thought). We had been at the dealership since 10am and left just before 7pm. The next hurdle was waiting on the tag that they were to obtain for us. They sent me away with my old tag since it was in my name and applied for a new tag in my husband's name. The paper tag put on the truck expired in a month. I turned in my tag. 3 weeks later we received a letter from the dealership stating that we have not turned in our new truck's personal property tax paid receipt from SC to them so they could process the new tag. Since the dealership was in NC they are required to have that on hand. Included with the letter was a page that we signed stating that we knew they were getting the tag. The small section on the bottom of the page where it stated we needed to get the receipt from the tax office had a spot to be initialed, but it was blank. We were not told we needed to do this, nor did we sign stating we knew we needed to do this. We called the dealership, but no one returned our calls about this. My husband went to the dealership. He was told that he needed to provide this receipt the following day in order to get the tag processed in time. I went to get the property taxes paid. I sent the a copy of the receipt with my husband. Another week went by, and we received another letter stating we did not turn in the receipt again. My husband called and called and no one returned the calls again. He went to the dealership and finally found a manager. They explained that the dealership had been purchased prior to us buying the truck and that they knew they had a lot of kinks to work out. The manager made a copy of the receipt again. The next day my husband returned to the dealership to get the tag. This was trip number 5 to the dealership in total. Thinking this is over...not yet! The final blow was receiving a call from the finance company for the traded in truck stating that the payment was past due. Past due? I traded the truck 45 days ago! That's right! No payoff has been received they said. My husband was told when he picked up the tag that the payoff was sent already. Nope! Lie!! I called and spoke to a sales manager and he said he would call me back in minutes with some information. An hour later he called. He said he was sorry, but the payment had not been sent and that he was overnighting the payment this day. I wait to see if the follows though. Oh almost forgot, the truck we purchased had work done to it, remember it was in the air getting an arm replaced. Well the mechanics didn't tighten the bolts. During the first week we had the truck we noticed the steering wheel was not centered when the wheels were facing forward. My husband found the bolts very loose and tightened them before my steering column fell off!So good luck to any buyers dealing with this dealership! Hopefully they will work out all their kinks!!

Came in to trade in my old car for a kid friendly SUV. We are expecting our third baby this summer and needed a third row. I worked with Roberto and I felt he really customized the car buying experience for me. I gave him a list of options I wanted in my new mommy mobile and he showed me a variety of vehicles that would make me happy. He was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles and seemed to really care that he put me in a vehicle that was a good fit for me and my family. I purchased a Ford Explorer and could not be happier about my decision!

I tried to let this dealership make it up to me but they ended up with 3 strikes. First I went in to check out a car, was told it was available - even test drove it. Then when I said I was interested, they told me it was already sold. Oops sorry. They showed me something similar, but a little higher in price. I said I would think about it over the weekend, when I said I was interested, the price went up by $1,500! and they had some "recon" work to do to it - that took 2 weeks! I was told they would not budge on the higher price because of the recon work - even though the lower price was still being advertised on the internet... and as soon as the recon work was finished the price would be adjusted online. Then I received notification on the day that I was to (finally) take it for a test drive that the internet price was lowered - so now they are trying to charge me $2,000 more than their own advertised price! I can't do business with people that are deceptive. I probably gave them too many opportunities to correct the situation as it was - but they kept making it worse.

Although the dealership had just changed management, the service was still excellent! The only thing they didn't do that I was expecting was a car wash. Previously when I took my cars in to be serviced they would run them through the car wash after the service was completed. I very much liked this and thought it was the perfect finishing touch to getting a vehicle service at the dealership.

First of all I must say that I LOVED LOVED LOVED the Customer Service received. Roberto is the nicest, sweetest sales person you can meet. He did a great job getting my husband, and I a deal, which I appreciate so very much. Roberto worked very hard on getting the deal! I don't think anyone else could of done it like he did. Overall I really enjoyed the five hours I spent there thanks to him and the rest of the staff that worked on my car. We will definitely be returning to Performance Ford. I recommend this dealer to anyone that might be looing for Ford in Charlotte, because these guys really are the best! Thank you guys, so very much, specially Roberto! Great job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
