I went into Pete Moore and they treated me like family.... They worked with me and found me a very nice truck. I COULDN'T THANK THEM ENOUGH!!! So my wife and bought a lemon from another dealership. We took a huge loss and needed a car that was reliable and cheap. Well cheap to a point. Went to Pete Moore Chevy met Rick Down's and he got us looking right away. Wife and decided to think it over for the night. Let's just say Rick did not sell me on the first car, but I found one on the lot that met our needs. Everyone was polite and professional. Will do business with Pete Moore again!

We have worked with many car sales reps over the years, but Brian Wimett is a cut above all of them. I went in to look at a specific car, but after the test drive, I realized I wanted to go with a Jeep. I have wanted a Jeep for over 20 years. We left the dealership after telling Brian what I had decided. He had one for me to test drive the next day-and even brought it to my house. We are a busy family. We both work full-time and have two boys. The ability to test drive from my driveway was priceless. Needless to say, Brian brought home the perfect Jeep for us to try. We fell in love with it. We all worked together to come up with the right deal. He even took my trade-in for me to see what we could get for it. When I tell you he made this the easiest deal possible, I am not exaggerating. I traded in my Camaro for a new car. I was told that I was getting the highest possible amount for trade in, $3,000. I thought I should of gotten more as I took great care of the car. Well, today I see it advertised for $10,000; at least 3 times the amount I was given. I am deeply hurt, and feel as though I was taken advantage of. Could it be that I was a female purchasing a car by myself? Shame on you, Pete Moore!

In the past, I have dealt with other local dealerships. I thought to return to them and be a repeat customer. I was told, "Well little lady why don't you bring your daddy back and we'll do business." Even told by another, "Where is your husband, why isn't he buying the car for you?"From my first contact with Lucas Baxter to George Miller and then Don Lindgren. I was treated with professionalism, respect and genuine courtesy, and yet, I was made to feel relaxed, welcome and comfortable. This was a pleasant surprise and I actually enjoyed what has always been a stressful experience in the past: buying a new car.I had done my research and I knew what I wanted. George was great to work with in that he did not dumb things down because I am a woman, but treated me as a smart, well-informed consumer. This meant a lot to me. Micheal Potter made me and my daughter's experience getting a car wonderful. It was not about the sale, it was about safety, comfort and something to fit the tiny size of my daughter. He made sure when we went on the road to ask us questions about the features of the car and pointed out the fact that there were air all over and how as a parent he would purchase a car first thinking of safety. Anthony Ramsay, my Salesman, who I had called earlier in the week to check on what vehicles were in stock, was very adept at asking what I needed, and expeditiously found the right vehicle for me to buy. After doing my research online and found what I was looking for, I drove from Crestview to the Pete Moore Chevrolet used car lot and immediately saw the truck I had been looking at online. I was promptly met by a superb individual in Randy Charmichael, and he offered his assistance. I explained my research online, and he knew I found what I was looking for but he insisted that I test drive it. So I did, and the vehicle was even better than I anticipated. Then I knew I wanted to trade, and I had an idea what I was expecting to get for my vehicles. Randy worked diligently with his manager Phil and both were very nice and respectful to me, and we were able to negotiate a fair deal. The facilities were very nice. Randy especially went out of his way to ensure me and my elderly father who went with me were comfortable during the entire process. It was a hot day, and Randy brought us some cold water and crackers to munch on while the paperwork was being finalized. Then I was introduced to Don Lindgren to sign all the paperwork to close the deal, and Don was very thorough and understood my situation precisely, and he was able to offer me advice on keeping my credit high for many years to come. This team at Pete Moore Chevrolet feels like one big family and is very friendly and courteous. Even after I agreed to the purchase, and it was late in the day, I still got to drive home to Crestview in the truck I had picked out. I came back the next day, and Randy was able to show me how to use all the "bells and whistles" that came on this truck. I am very happy with the purchase and can't say enough about how well my overall experience went with this dealership. Randy especially deserves credit for being top notch during this deal. I hope he gets a raise for this, as I feel that he certainly deserves it. Randy was able to really connect with us, and I feel like he is now a friend for life.

I went in looking for a pick-up and ended up with an SUV. Not because Randy Carmichael was pushy, but because he was on top of his game. I told him what I needed the truck for and after looking at a few trucks he asked if I had ever considered an SUV. Comparing the purchase price, the MPG, and my other needs I ended up with a barely used Chevy Equinox. Not knowing anything about values of vehicles, I was hesitant to shop for such a large purchase by myself. I am glad now that I went to Pete Moore's. I felt very comfortable dealing with Randy. We were hesitant going in as you should going into a dealership. But from the moment we walked into the dealership we felt like we were in good hands. Wayne was very helpful with shopping for a new car. We told him our price range and what kind of car we were looking for (Chevy Traverse) and he immediately pointed us in the right direction. Once we picked a car we were interested in, Wayne answered all of our questions and was very knowledgeable. He was open and honest with us which made the experience that much better. Wayne spoke very highly of the company which made us feel safer about buying with them. He wasn't overly pushy on anything and cared more about helping us than anything. The price was a steal for us in my opinion, they are willing to work with you. In total it took a few hours to take care of everything and we were driving off the lot with our new car. I'm very pleased with our experience and as long as Pete Moore Chevrolet keeps great workers like Wayne Freeman, they will always have our business.

My son Christian Grant recently purchased a 2010 Kia Forte with Ki Gillispie's excellent guidance and assistance. I have been trying to help my son purchase a car for the last 5 months. I live in Oklahoma city and my son Christian is finishing school in p'cola. I tried to drive down a few months ago and help purchase a car for him but, all of the 6 dealerships and many salesman couldn't help us get my son a car in his price range he could afford. I tried to communicate and maintain dialogue with many salesman at several different dealerships in the area, but non of them put effort into helping me get my son a car via long distance. When I finally found Ki, I knew he would get him in a car. Ki went above and beyond maintaining communication between my so and myself through the whole process. Ki sent me pics and info of various cars until we found the forte at an affordable price. Ki assisted my son and advised him in dealing with the credit union loan officer and made sure he got what he needed along the way, while keeping me informed through the whole process. Ki went well above the standard and made me feel I could trust him when I was several states away. I have purchased several cars thru the years and have dealt with good and bad salesman. Ki was excellent in customer service, professional, caring, and reassuring through the whole process in a timely manner. I and my son are very grateful to Ki Gillispie for going way beyond what we expected. Dealership need more guys like him!!!!

My experience with Charlie was wonderful. He was very kind, honest and helpful when I was trying to sell my car to the dealership. I originally had an appointment scheduled with Randy, who was busy with another couple. He loudly acknowledged he knew about our appointment but did not apologize about keeping us waiting for over half an hour or letting anyone else know we had the scheduled appointment with him. Told me I couldn't get a car for the Kelley Blue Book and NADA values. Wanted over $1200 more than car was worth. Didn't believe me when I showed them the NADA value. Eventually gave me the NADA if I agreed to finance through them. Maybe I expect car shopping to be quicker and easier than it is, but I just didn't like how much of a difficult time they gave me. This deal took days. Oh and on top of that the salesman said I could get the car for the NADA value if I financed through the dealership. He promised to beat my bank's interest rate and that I could finance for 48 months instead of 60. Neither of these wishes came true. I plan on refinancing. I feel like I got a good deal on the car, but I also feel like I was lied to during the process.

The salesman (Anthony) and especially Brian Wimett, the finance guy, did everything they could to facilitate the purchase and make sure we were taken care of completely. Brian was thorough and professional. Paperwork was sent to us quickly with clear directions on what we needed to complete. When we flew in from Phoenix, the vehicle was ready for us to take delivery the following morning as planned and were out the door and down the road within an hour. Randy did a fantastic job helping me find a car. He wasn't a typical "car salesman" and he was very easy to talk to. The shopping experience with him was great, much better than I expected, but I wasn't as happy once I got sent off to deal with other employees. I want this to be focused on how great Randy was, though. He really did a wonderful job, and if I were able to stay with him 100% of the time through the buying process, I believe I would have been much happier. He never once spoke to me as if I didn't understand him, and he didn't talk to me like I was stupid. This is the second truck I have purchased through George. We went to the dealership to look at a Dodge Charger that was out front and when we got close to the vehicle it wasn't the one I wanted. So we drove around the lot looking for another charger and none of the salesman bothered us, which was a plus, until we asked them about the charger. David Laughlin showed us another charger but it wasn't what we wanted. So we saw a 5 Series BMW that was nice but not what we wanted. Then low and behold they had a 7 series BMW right behind it and we test drove that and it was an amazing car for a super low price! David didn't push us into buying it or anything. He listened to what we wanted and how much we could afford and he made it happen. David was very helpful and understanding and made us feel very comfortable during the purchase of the vehicle. He showed us all the information on the previous owners of the car and didn't hide anything. A special thank you to David Laughlin! Great job!

I was searching all inventory of the dealerships in my area and found the car that would make my wife happy at Pete Moore Chevrolet in Pensacola, FL. My daughter and son have also purchased their vehicles there and it was a great recommendation. We drove in on a Saturday and met with Chad. Pete Moore Chevrolet, no pressure, answers to every query in a direct manner, excellent pricing, no deception on financing, car features, price. From online staff to on-site staff, all knowledgeable and helpful. I left with vehicle of my choice feeling good. I cannot say any of these statements about Sansing Chevrolet. Chad Karahalios was amazing! My husband is overseas right now and so we were messaging back and forth to Afghanistan talking to my hubby about trucks. We vaguely knew what we were looking for. Had we walked in off the street and asked Pete Moore Chevrolet to find us an already built 2016 Laguna Blue Corvette with a gray interior, which ultimately is what we ended up with, I would have given them five stars. Our salesman Dickie Heckler was friendly, fast and efficient in this scenario. But the fact is, we came in to place an order for a brand new, custom built corvette from the factory.We spent many hours researching all the Corvette options and then waited seven long weeks after placing the order only to find out that it did not get processed.Our salesman Dickie Heckler was the only person at Pete Moore who apologized and was sorry our new corvette order did not go through. Not the person responsible for placing and tracking factory orders, not the sales manager, only Dickie and I believe he was truly felt bad our order was mishandled.Dickie Heckler did offer to search for an already built, 2016 Corvette Stingray Z51, Laguna Blue / Gray Interior with all the options we had originally ordered. He did find and we decided to settle for a 2016 Corvette Stingray Z51, Laguna Blue / Gray Interior but minus several of the original options that we wanted.We spent many hours researching all the various Corvette options and running the build configurator to get a customized corvette to our specifications but ended up with something less.Update 09/10/2016:Working with our salesman Dickie Heckler, we were able to get several of the missing options at dealer cost. Dickie and the dealership tried to make the deal right.Dickie is an honest and friendly person, I would not hesitate to recommend him to any car buyer.

I was quoted $39.95 for a oil change on my 2014 Silverado by the service writer. When I went to pay my bill was $59. Explanation was that my truck held 8 quarts of oil. The explanation seems okay, but why quote me a price if you know it's significantly low. Talked with SM, he couldn't have cared less that his employee was either completely incompetent or just trying to gouge the customer..I expect better treatment from a dealer that I have purchased 3 trucks from in the last 6 yrs...Guess it's time to look for a new dealership.

took my car in for an oil change. was very quickly taken care of. after about an hour or so, someone brought me the receipts for the work done, which aside from the oil change was a tire rotation. Asked if I wangted it cleaned, I said yes. so I was ready to wait a while.. but after having the papers in my hand, I did not see my car for another 40 minutes or so.. I stepped out of the waiting room to find out wher it was and it turned out that someone, instead of driving it by the waiting room, had gone to put it in the parking lot.. My wife and I live in Orange Park, FL, I drive a conversion van which was totaled in an auto accident. We could not find anything in the Jacksonville area that met our needs. My wife expanded her search and located on the web Peter Moore Auto at 103 New Warrington Rd. Zip 32056. They had a very good selection so we called made an appointment. We reserved one that we were interested in and was still for sale before left to ensure that we did not make a 6 hour trip and the vehicle would have been sold. We were met by an experienced, pleasant salesman, Allan Ledbetter, who had everything prepared as we drove into the lot. We immediately were impressed by genuine politeness and sheer knowledge of what our need was. We took test drive in a 2015 Chevy Explorer Conversion Van in absolutely immaculate condition. Allan was extremely interested in all the we were looking for, answered all our questions or should say all my wife's questions. Allan's natural friendly demeanor put us at ease and we felt we were dealing with a very professional and honest dealership. Allan was extremely helpful in determining a final price and we closed the deal in less than 2 hours. We drove our new van back to Orange Park with entire 12 hour day being a wonderful experience. One note that I feel is worth mentioning, as Allan finished his complete explanation of how everything worked and got ready to say goodbye he grab my hand and my wife's hand and with humility and sincerity said quietly short prayer asking our Lord to protect us on our journey home. We knew then without a doubt we had made the right choice. A wonderful experience. My personal mechanic here in the Jacksonville area looked over the vehicle from stem to stern, took it on test drive and said it was an amazing vehicle, you did extremely well.If I have a need in the future for another vehicle, in spite of the six hour trip one way, I am calling Anthony Ramsey and asking for Allan Ledbetter. I wish there was an option for zero stars. Do NOT take your car to be serviced at Pete Moore Cheverolet in Pensacola. We took it in for an oil change and were told we needed $2300 in repairs. Less than 24 hours later the check engine light is back on. Diagnosis shows that it is the same issue that Pete Moore supposedly fixed. We are hours away on vacation. Called and were told they would find a dealership in our area for us to take it to. 6 hours later they are now closed and we never received a return call. Our vacation is now on hold while we wait to have the truck repaired. Our only family vacation for the year ruined thanks to their negligence. The truck was purchased from them in October and has never been serviced anywhere else.

My wife and I looked online for quite some time for a vehicle that would fit our needs at the rite price. We found one at Pete Moore Chevrolet on there website,made a call to speak with a salesman about the vehicle. Lucky for us Randy Carmichael answered the call. Another buyer was also interested in the vehicle we wanted, so we ased randy to keep us informed if they were going to purchase the vehicle or not. Well they didn't make the puchase. Now we live over two hrs frome the dealership. Randy worked with us and our bank over the phone, email and faxing.until all details were taken care of. He then after working all day drove the vehicle two hrs to me that night with his wife following in his own vehicle to drive him home after I looked at the truck to make sure It was what I wanted. I came to Pete Moore because they had a used vehicle I was searching for. I'm not a fan of Used car sales and was reserved on how the experience would go. The Entire Used car staff was very helpful and treated me like I was buying a new car from the start. They answered all of my questions quickly and told me every detail of the history of the truck I was looking at and had all documentation for me to review. When It came time to make my deal they worked hard to meet my goals and seemed more concerned about making customers than trying to fry someone on the deal. I got a Great deal, probably better than what I had hoped for. After the sale they worked hard to deliver the vehicle and the staff looked after my concerns diligently. I had been to several other dealerships in about a 75Mile range and these guys out classed them all easily. Not pushy, not looking to put me in anything I didn't want but worked for ME! Next time I need another Vehicle I will defiantly return to see the used car sales team at Pete Moore first.

I met Jeff Lee on May 22, 16, at Pete Moore Chevrolet in Pensacola, FL. GREAT GUY! I had taken my family car a 2005 Pontiac in for an ac problem. The tech told me there was more wrong than I had expected. I told him to put it back together I would have to take care of it another time. While I was waiting for them to put it back together I wondered out on the New Car lot. There he was standing over in the shade with his wide brim straw hat. I walked over to him and started a conversation with him. He was very compassionate about my problem but never once tried to sale me a car. I asked him several questions and he answered each very professionally and I liked that. I walked away and was looking around. I found a New Chevy Equinox that I really liked. I left and later came back later with my Linda my wife. We could not fine the car and figured it was gone. I texted him and he found me another one just like it for the same price. My wife has a power chair and we needed to know if the chair lift could be installed on the new car. Jeff set the wheels in motion. Jeff told us about the GM Mobility Program and made some phone calls. We processed all the paper work with ease and drove off in our new car. A week later we had a new hitch with a swinging frame so the chair lift would swing out or the way and the SUV hatchback would rise up completely. From the very start, Ben Franklin was an exceptional sales person who listened to my used truck buying needs. We always felt like we were in charge of the buying experience and never felt pressured to close the deal. Ben allowed us to test drive the vehicle multiple times. During the last test drive we notified Ben we wanted to purchase the vehicle. By the time we had returned to the dealer, less than 2 hours later, Ben and the finance department had competed all the required financing documents and all we had to do is sign them and drive away. I have never bought a car. So going to Pete Moore I was imagining sales man being rude and trying to just sell a car. This place was not what I expected at all. I was referred to Dickie Heckler from a friend. He's a GREAT salesman. Very calm guy, I was super nervous walking into the place I had no Idea what to expect. Everyone there is so nice and welcoming. My nerves began to calm down. DIckie was so helpful with any questions I had he had an answer for. The guy who did my finances I believe his name was Don was extremely patient and explained everything I was signing before I signed the papers. Would definitely refer to a friend or relative! BEST experience of my life.

Although I am a professional woman, I know nothing about anything mechanical so I needed alot to be explained to me about the vehicle I was purchasing. Charlie was so helpful. We came in to look at a used car, and we left with a beautiful new truck that was such a great deal! We are small business owners and Charlie made sure we got extra perks for that. Great guy! Thanks Charlie. Rodney also assisted and made sure to take time and talk to my husband about everything the truck could do, we bought a dually Silverado. We pull large trailers and Rodney made sure to go over braking and the benefit of the brand of transmittion in the truck. Steve helped us with adding to the truck with side steps, mud flaps and mats. Yosef was awesome. he came out in the rain to see if i needed help and no one else did. i probably would have just kept driving through if he hadn't stopped me. he was knowledgeable and if he didn't have the answer he knew where to go to get it. he went above and beyond with getting things done for my purchase. i liked the fact that he was not aggressive and not pushy. i had to wait an in-ordinarily long time (about 1-2 hours) to get to the final "finance guy" once i decided to go through with the purchase. this is the only reason for not rating it 5 stars. once i got there, he was great too. i am sorry but i cant remember his name off hand. i have purchased other vehicles and once you decide to buy they shuffle you into the finance man before you change your mind. luckily i didn't change mine because i was given plenty of time to think it over. also tell the guy who washes the vehicles to move the floor mats and vacuum under them. he also did not wash the roof of the car. when someone purchases an expensive vehicle it should be spotless when turned over to buyer.

recently my daughter called me and my wife and told us her car won't start and she was wanted another car so my wife and i started looking on line for car dealers in the Pensacola area as we was looking my wife came across your dealership so i started looking more in to detail about your selection of cars our daughter told us what she was looking for either a Honda, Nissan , or Toyota and that she wanted a newer car with low mileage. our daughter was renting a vw jetta se and see loved it and as i was looking at your cars mostly what i saw was dark looking cars she was checking into her retirement to see if she could borrow against it which worked out great but she did not know when she would get the money then she called me and told me that the check had come anyway i talked to Jason and cj explained the situation to them they worked with us on everything explained everything these 2 men are the greatest DO NOT LET THESE 2 MEN GET AWAY FROM YOU they are the best in my daughters book and in my book kind words are not enough to express our heart felt thanks to these men they are #1 if we were looking for another car even though we live in Calera, Alabama i wan these two men to wait on us once again thanks William and Rosa Arnold.

Charlie is as honest a man as I have ever dealt with at a car dealership. He was courteous, and provided everything we asked for before the sale and afterward. There were a few interior parts missing from the 2-year old Jeep Patriot we bought off the used car lot, and he said he would get them for us. He did just as he said.The whole feel of the Pete Moore dealership is low pressure, low stress. They are still car salespeople, but they never tried to coerce me into doing something I didn't want to do. I really appreciate that, and when it comes time to look at another vehicle, I'll be dropping back by Pete Moore Chevrolet.

This is the third car I've bought from Pete Moore, and I have never been disappointed or dissatisfied for any reason. Mike Porter was waiting when I pulled up. He asked if he could help, and I told him I was looking for the guy who helped me the last time, but wasn't sure of his name. He cheerfully took me inside and helped me look, but the guy had moved on. He then helped me find what I wanted for the amount of money I wanted to pay for it, with no hype and no hassle. As long as I'm living in the area, I'll go here for cars.

We traded in a 2008 Ford Mustang for a 2012 BMW. The internet liaison, Elise Buchanan, was professional and wonderful to work with. Our sales associate, Brian Wimett, also was helpful. But then the games started: you know, the one where you negotiate the trade in value of your vehicle and negotiate the sale price for the purchasing vehicle. Brian went to the sales manager 3x. Really? I was getting ready to walk out because I hate these games. Finally, we wound up settling for a price $500 greater than we wanted. We met with Jimmi, the finance person, who tried to sell us a warranty for the vehicle. He was insistent that his warranty prices were highly competitive and we would not find a better deal. We did, by the way. The experience took about 3 hours; the whole thing could have been completed in an hour without the back-and-forth nonsense. We drove the vehicle away that Saturday afternoon. On Monday, my husband drove the BMW over to a local dealer for an inspection and warranty purchase--we purchased a 36-month bumper-to-bumper warranty from BMW at$1000 less than the one Jimimi offered, and with lower deductibles, by the way. First, the roof would not retract. Then, the AC and radio died on the way to the dealer. Turns out, there had been some electrical "repairs" completed that were not consistent with BMW recommendations and these "repairs" shorted out a substantial portion of the electronics. $600 repair. I understand that we bought the car "as is," but that leaves me with 2 scenarios: 1, The car arrived in that condition and the service techs at Pete Moore did not know enough, or conduct an inspection detailed enough, to detect this background problem; or, 2. The repairs were made at Pete Moore and completed in such a manner as to go undetected for a bit--just enough for the sale to go through and enough time to lapse before the buyer was faced with the larger issue. I'm not sure if I would go back, so I gave this question a conditional "yes." We like the vehicle and the individuals we worked with were pleasant and professional.

I'm a Charlie type of person meaning once I find something that works for me it's on, a comfortable pair of shoes, favorite hat etc... My Red (truck) said it's farewell my day became cloudy with a chance of rain. Sunshine came with a smile that kept saying I'm here to make you happy with a name that was Charlie. I started at Milton Jeep, where I purchased my first Jeep in 2012. I knew what I wanted, so, it should have been easy. After three hours with the new salesman, I decided it was time to go to another dealer because the salesman was more interested in talking about bulls in Texas, than selling me a Jeep.I went to Hill Kelly in Pensacola, knew what I wanted and got what I wanted ..... I thought. All the previous took place on a Wednesday and I drove the jeep home on Wednesday from Hill Kelly. On Friday evening at 5;04pm, I got a voice mail from the hill Kelly finance team that stated the deal did not go through, but, FOR MORE MONEY, they could fix the financing. I tried to return the call ASAP to find what would work, but, NO RETURN CALL all weekend. By Monday, I was fuming and already had taken all of the Personal items out of the "new Jeep". Finally contacted the finance dept at Hill Kelly around 10am on Monday, where he stated the higher payment would work. I stated I would call back to verify if it would work for me. When I called back and said no it would not work, and I was bringing the new jeep back to get my old one, I was told to hang on, and they would call me before the end of the day on Monday to discuss. "Still waiting on that call back" to this day.Tuesday afternoon I went to Pete Moore to see Randy Carmichael that was referred to me by a new acquaintance that stated Pete Moore Chevy had a very similar jeep to the one that I thought I had already purchased. I went to see Randy at Pete Moore, told of the run around at the previous two dealers, and even called again with Randy listening to get the voice mail again. (still waiting on that call also). Randy suggested to call back to speak with the sales manager, where I got another voice mail and left another voice mail. (still waiting on that call back as well). Randy suggested to do all the paperwork again at Pete Moore for the similar Jeep they had. I did and with in 45minutes a deal was done and ready for signing. WOW 45 minutes later ? ( by the way, it was $3000 cheaper than the Hill Kelly deal)I left a deposit for the second jeep, and stated I would just walk in Hill Kelly to find out what was going on since no one would return my call, and let Randy know as soon as I knew anything. Went to Hill Kelly where the "Time share sales pitch" started, and I just stated to cancel the deal and return my deposit money, and I would take my old jeep back. They returned by jeep, but stated the deposit money would not be returned until the next day. That was fine with me.I called Randy again while I was waiting on my old jeep to be found, and he stated " we are sitting on GO, and just waiting on me to show up ". After my old jeep showed up, I drove to Pete Moore with fingers crossed that this deal would not be in vain, because I also had work to do and did not need to be out playing the games that I had been in for the past few days.After arriving at Pete Moore, Randy took me to the finance "guru" Jimmy K, and I drove out with the Jeep that Pete Moore had in stock.....AND STILL DRIVING IT TODAY !!!My wife was so impressed with the CUSTOMER SERVICE that I received that Saturday morning, she decided she wanted a new car as well. This was not planned.We went to Pete Moore, saw Randy again, ( he was not expecting us) and she has a new car in the driveway now. All in less than an afternoon. How easy this was !!!We bought two (2) vehicles in three (3) days from Pete Moore Chevrolet, all from a dealership that apparently does return phone calls and will go the extra mile for a Happy Customer.The second car was totally unplanned, and Randy was really surprised when we showed up. To Randy's wife: we are sorry he missed the lunch you cooked for him because of us. But, you have a man that will go the extra mile to make a customer happy !!! That says a lot about him personally and you have a real "Peach" of a husband. I hope the Hill Kelly dealership and the Milton Dodge dealership will get word of this two (2) cars in three (3) days deal that was an absolute nerve racking and frustrating experience for me, that could have been resolved with a simple phone call, from either Hill Kelly or Milton Jeep.Randy Carmichael and Jimmy K...... I wanted to drop you a line concerning your service department.First.THANK YOU & THANK THEM. They are GREAT. Here is the story.My daughter and son-n-law are in the air force and got stationed in Pensacola for training. We took a coupledays off work to help them move and had to be back to work Wednesday. (We are from Missouri 715 miles away) The ECM went out of our Chevy truck (it would only run 30 mph) Sunday afternoon. I called first thing Monday morning and explainedthat I needed to be back to Missouri to work Wednesday. I pulled in to your service department a few minutes later, they diagnosed the problem, didnt have an ECM, but had one overnighted, started the repair first thing Tuesday morning and had me on the road by 10:30. We drove the 715 miles and made it home in time to get a little sleep and get to work Wednesday morning. So.THANKS again to all involved.Special thanks to Christa Hall and the service tech. I wish my first car buying experience had been as comfortable and simple as this encounter was. George was very personable and professional. Have taken the car that was purchased from dealership every oil change, tire rotation and what I thought balancing as well. I was told I needed a front end alignment and balancing. This was done but vibration was just as bad. I was then told I needed rims (sp) I have called nothing done. How does a brand new paid in full2010 26,0000 miles need rims. Very disappointed.

I called Pete Moore and spoke with the sales manager Al about purchasing a new truck and letting go of my beautiful Camaro. It was tough because my car was so awesome! Well I have a lazy eye and I cant drive lowered cars any longer and it would not be long before I felt it was going to lead me into an accident (so many close calls). So I asked about a specific type of truck that would be stylish like my Camaro and they said they would put me in touch with sales rep Chris Jenkins AKA "Jenks" ....to start looking for what I wanted in my description. Chris AKA 'Jenks" called me back within minutes and had one exactly as I described. Jenks just knew it was the one. It was more than perfect as to what I described and I love it! They completely gave me the best deal I could ever imagine. In 24 hours from my search I had the truck signed, sealed, and delivered! I am a tough cookie and I feel bad for my abrupt manager ways in my attitude since I run a office. I was skeptical on getting screwed over. I was an Internet contact and James Wheeler followed up immediately both by phone and email. James was quick to find what I was looking for and very accommodating. All of Pete Moore's associates were courteous and helpful throughout the deal, which we struck quickly. My husband and I wanted to trade in our vehicle for an upgrade (or, more specifically, a "newer" used vehicle with better amenities than the current vehicle). We researched online which vehicles we liked, and Pete Moore had an amazing deal on a GMC that we liked the look of, so we went there. We were helped by Jason Coker, who was very laid back and clicked well with my husband and me. He was friendly and knowledgeable, asked the right questions - what did we like, what payment area we wanted to stay at, what type of vehicle we would want if the GMC didn't pan out after the test drive, and showed us some other options we could check out while looking at the GMC. The GMC did work out and we definitely feel like we got the best price in town on a small sized SUV. The whole process was easy and pain free, even when the internet went down, they kept working on our paperwork, and did everything they could to make us comfortable during our wait. The staff was super friendly, the other salesmen even joked with us and talked during down times and we never felt pressured to buy anything we didn't want or that was outside of our budget. It didn't feel like buying a car, it felt like hanging out with friendly people who understand Southern Hospitality. During the process, they explained the perks we were getting - gap, extra insurance (we got an awesome warranty on a used vehicle that we wouldn't have gotten anywhere else!) - they introduced us to the men working the service bay (more smiles and friendly faces!) - explained OnStar, Sirius Radio, etc.As far as I'm concerned this is my dealership. The next vehicle I buy will be from here. Jason was stellar, knowledgeable, good natured and puts you at ease, never once making us feel bad for wanted a used vehicle in our price range.Oh, and my husband and I were amused by the nicknames. It seems that all of the salesmen have nicknames!

Rodney was very professional and knowledgeable. But most important, he was very friendly. He took time to explain all the functions of the Silverado to make sure we knew what we were getting. He did not try to rush us through the process. There were many vehicles to choose from and he took us around to all of them and explained the slight differences between them. Will definitely purchase a vehicle from him again. We got a pretty good deal on the new vehicle, however he made it better. He took the time to check the VIN number to see of there were other discounts even though he was pretty sure there wasn't. Turns out, there was an additional $2,500 off the truck. During Thanksgiving week I found myself in a situation of having to take some action on the disposition of my current Malibu because I was approaching the end of my lease. Because I had leased it from Pete Moore, they were obviously my first (and last) stop to see what my options were. I primarily dealt with George Miller. To my very pleasant surprise, George made it EXTREMLY easy to understand my options and to meet my requirements. I stopped by Pete Moore Chevrolet not really knowing what I wanted to purchase, but needing a new (used) car due to a recent accident. I knew I wanted a mid to full size SUV with the style and performance I was used to coming out of a BMW 5 series. Chad Karahalios really knew his cars and was able to describe the functions of the vehicles we test drove. His comments on reliability and added features really helped me to make an informed decision. I was able to narrow my choice down to two vehicles and went home to think on it with no added pressure from Chad. I did my own research on the vehicles and discovered they mirrored everything Chad had told me! I went back the following day and chose a 2010 Cadillac SRX that was priced fairly and we closed the deal in less than an hour!! Chad had the vehicle completely cleaned inside and out and even topped off the gas for me! I discovered only after the purchase all of the other added benefits of purchasing from Pete Moore including the free nitrogen tire service for life, full service checkups, and 3 months of On star service in my vehicle to try out for free, just to mention a few!Just want to say "Thanks again Chad!"

My recent car purchase started last week when after changing a headlight on my old car I realized I was past due to replace both headlight assemblies. The seal on one of the assemblies was obviously cracked because there was condensation on the inside of the lens. So I called the service department at Sandy Sansing Chevrolet, where I got my Cobalt from, and asked if they could quote how much it would cost to replace both headlight assemblies. I was met with being told that they could restore my headlights for $100 (but would not respond to how that was going fix a broken seal), and that it would be verrrrry expensive to replace both assemblies (all I needed were the parts from JC Whitney for $120 and a 10mm socket wrench to change it out myself) but that he could work up some numbers and get back with me but all that I really needed was to have the lens cleaned. I never heard back from the Sandy Sansing Chevrolet service department. Then came the remnants of Hurricane Patricia and after the storm left the area, the clear coat on my Cobalt started to peel like sunburn. So I contacted Pete Moore Chevrolet and started working with Dickie Heckler. He rearranged his schedule to meet me sooner than originally scheduled, showed me every new and used Malibu I wanted to see, worked up three different offers, helped me narrow it down to two, never said a negative word against his competitor, was professional and courteous, never rushed me, did not have commission breath (I work in the real estate industry and see commission breath quite often) and did not talk to me like I was a dumb girl even though I'm on the other side of 50. Excellent car buying experience all around.

I was searching for a car and went to every other place then I stopped into Pete Moore Chevrolet of Pensacola FL. before getting my eyebrows done. There were several people standing around and I was in shock that no sales person bomb rushed me, I thought that I was in the wrong place. I got a sales agent by the name of Mr. David Laughlin and he was more then helpful to assist me. He ask me a series of questions and then I informed him of what I was looking for and he went to work. He showed me a Chevrolet Sonic LT but I was pressing for time and had to leave the dealership without a test driving. Still looking around for cars I found a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze at Fiat Pensacola BUT all could think about was the information that Mr David told me in that short period of time of what I would get with the car that I was interested in a Chevrolet Sonic LT. So I headed back to the Pete Moore dealership and spoke with Mr. David and informed him that I wanted to take the car for a test drive and we did. I melted away at the experience that had driving the car. He allowed me to listen to the car and utilize the functions of the car while not trying to talk to me and have me distracting from the objective of seeing if this was the best car for me. When we pulled back into the lot he informed me of the information that made me come back in the beginning that with this car it still was under warranty and that I would get 2 years free of oil change and that I also would get my tires rotate and balance for a year free as well. I knew the car was mine just need to see what I was able to do to take it home with me. We started the process and under a few hours I was a proud owner of a 2014 Chevrolet Sonic LT with 23,120 miles with 3 months free of On-star and they even filled my gas tank up. I just wanted to say to Mr. David Thank you for making my car shopping a enjoyable inexpensive experience I'm glad you were the one to reach me and made a awesome tea to get the deal done.

Financing a conversion van is tough. Anthony, Jason and Sam bent over backwards in order to make sure our family got the van we needed. Our experience was great! Keith James showed us around to different models of the vehicle we were interested in. He was very knowledgeable about the suv and also it's computerized technology inside. He showed us how to use the many functions and answered all of our questions that we had. Once we decided to purchase a vehicle, the color we wanted was not available on site. Keith without hesitation said that he would search for one on the computer. As soon as he found one he gave us a call and describe it to us and let us know that it had all of the features we wanted. Once we got the vehicle Keith once again showed us how to us the features and had the vehicle detailed. He also said that if we had any questions or needed any more demonstration on its features to never hesitate to ask that he would be glad to do it. Buying our slightly used (2014), but brand-new looking, vehicle from Pete Moore was by far the best car buying experience we have ever had! The sales staff did not follow us around like vultures, rather simply asked if we needed assistance, let us browse, and then were available when we were ready for assistance. Brian Wimett was amazing! I had already found the vehicle online, but wanted to browse the other cars as well. When we couldn't find the Kia Sorento we were looking for, Brian Wimett drove us across the street to their other lot and found it for us. Genuinely personable and friendly. No stress, no pressure. We got the vehicle we wanted for an affordable price. In fact, Brian worked with us to get us exactly at the price my husband and I had discussed prior to setting foot on the lot. I could not be happier with the overall experience. Especially since we had just had two hours of our time wasted at a different dealership where we were pressured and pushed toward a new car purchase that was nowhere near the price point we were willing to pay, despite having been initially told that our price limit was doable. I would highly recommend Pete Moore, and especially Brian Wimett! He even introduced us to the Service department who gave us a run down of free services. Having traded my car along with my wife's in Memphis, TN before our move to Pensacola on Sept 25,I had hoped to find a small truck for $5-6,000 there. My wife, Brenda, noticed that Pete Moore Chevrolet had a "hail damage sale" newspaper ad. We arrived at their dealership at 1 PM and were met by Sales Consultant, John Turner. He, my wife, and I drove a golf cart to look at a 2005 Dodge Dakota with hail damage for $7,995. It wasn't what I was looking for. As we were driving back I told John, "I would consider a SUV."John drove me to their "$2,995 LOSS LEADER, a light metallic blue 2006 Chrysler Town & Country with 190,000 miles. We took a test drive and it drove like a new car. Future research revealed that it had been a two owner car in CA. It had new tires. I bought it tax and tile for $4,026.14. We would highly recommend J. R. Gannett if you are looking to buy a new vehicle. Not only was he knowledgeable about the products and made the experience pleasant; he went above and beyond anything we have ever had a salesman do. He had us hooked on buying that day when we had settled on one price and he came back with an even lower price. We've never had that happen before. We knew then that J. R. was someone we could trust to find us the lowest price offered on our vehicle. He set in the car with us until well after the dealership closed to help set up the Bluetooth and On Star services. We had left some C.D's in the old car's player. We probably would have never remembered them, but he called to tell us about them and then delivered them to our house. I found a Van i was looking for and called the dealership to talk . Anthony was very helpful and answered all of my questions was very willing to take more pictures and email to me . This was a used van so i was going by his word of condition . They had another van newer come in with more miles and he told me that i should take it ,but go for the older model . Anthony thought it was in better shape even though more expensive. My suspicious self though yea right so , i made a deal for the older one with the understanding that if it was not what i thought i was getting that i could get my money back if i paid a deposit.Anthony said no need to send money he would have it for me in a week so i could actually drive to dealership and inspect Van. Well to my relief the Van was more than i expected and the other one was worse than I thought. He was right . I made the purchase that morning . The staff at Pete Moore Chevrolet have to be the happiest people in a car dealership I have ever met , I can't tell you how many times they told me what a great place it is to work and how so many of the employees have been with the dealership for 20-30 years , which is unheard of in Car business . Would I buy another vehicle you bet , would i trust Anthony Ramsay and Allan Ledbetter you better believe it . I live 200 miles from the dealership and told them I would not only buy my next Van ,but my next automobile form them.Pete Moore Chevrolet is a first rate dealership with experienced ,honest, helpful sales people. Anthony Ramsay was an honest and patient sales person! We live in Tyler, Tx, but after a thorough search for a conversion van locally and even within the DFW area, it made more sense to fly to Pensacola, Florida to do business with Pete Moore Chevy and Anthony Ramsay! There was no deal that could TOUCH the deal we were given, and on top of that, they even sent us an extra key fob (thank you Sam Bratton) and a couple of accessories that made the experience even better than we expected! Upon arriving at my destination, on an out-of-town trip my engine light came on and would not go out. I had just filled my car up and thought I had purchased some bad fuel. I added some fuel cleaner and enhancer through 3 tanks of gas with no change to the light. I called Pete Moore on Tuesday AM and spoke with Patti, a service representative and told her the condition that my vehicle was in, and the earliest available time for service that was available was Thursday. I explained to her I had to leave on another trip the next day, Wednesday evening by 6 P.M. and would not return again until Saturday. Upon hearing this, she doubled checked with the service department, and said she would get the vehicle worked in if I could bring the vehicle in by 1 P.M. that day and leave it overnight to which I replied "Absolutely, No Problem". She told me that she did not want me to have to worry about the engine light and any mechanical problems while I was out of town. Patti went above and beyond the call to make sure my vehicle was repaired. I live 40 miles one-way from Pete Moore, so they were kind enough to provide me with a courtesy vehicle to drive home. By 6 P.M. that afternoon, Patti called me on the phone and said the vehicle was ready, and I could come pick it up as early as I needed to in the next day. That is excellent service.

I just bought a Silverado from Pete Moore. Keith James was the main sales rep. As usual we test drove few trucks and then finally i decided to buy the truck. but the very same night i saw another truck on Pete Moore's website and i changed my mind on the truck that i had just purchased. I went back to the dealership and Keith James was very helpful and understanding. at any point I didn't see anyone who works there show any sign of frustration. I was able to swap out the vehicle without any issues. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and i actually had a great car buying experience. and i can say that for sure since i can't seem to keep any vehicle more than a year or two.

After having many bait and switch tactics pulled on me at other dealerships in town, it was nice to see a dealership with the cars and trucks that they said they had. They didn't try to upswell and had a very objective opinion on the cars when asked. They were open and honest with information. They prices their vehicles well and invited me to look at any vehicle appraiser site while there and this helped in the final price of the truck. The only thing that kept them from a five star review was after I picked up the vehicle and that was partially my fault for being rushed. The windshield had a crack by the passengers pillar that I noticed when I stopped a couple miles from the dealership to fill up and the rear drivers side door handle was loose in the door. This could have been prevented if I looked at the truck more when I picked it up, however I did expect that a dealership would not let a car go with a bad windshield and door handle.

1st: My used car salesman was Charlie Rottenberry. Charlie did anything within his power to help my wife and I find what we were looking for. Charlie was always professional, knowledgeable, and far beyond patient; we consulted with Charlie over a two day period and probably wore him out! Had I been the salesman dealing with me and my wife I would have thrown us out after the first hour!2nd: When it came time to work out the purchase, Randy Carmichael (the gentleman closing the deal) bent over backward to accommodate us. Randy went far beyond what he needed to do finding some missing items from the truck we were going to buy; never did he say, "Take it the way it is or leave it"! But the searching Randy did to make us happy truly supersized me; he personally did a search of their parts warehouse, on foot, and beat up the internet looking while I was wearing out and willing to just give up. Randy all the while was enthusiastic during "the hunt", and not at all appeared to be wishing my wife and I would just go home. We're not talking about finding a part for a $30,000 or $40,000 late model used vehicle here either; we're talking about parts for a 2004 Chevy Tahoe! Randy was bound and determined to make us happy on the vehicle we wanted. If you're scratching your head about who to see for a used car...go see Charlie or Randy at Pete Moore Chevrolet in Pensacola, FL, if your in the area. The exact vehicle you're looking for may not be on the lot, mine wasn't. But I did find a one owner 2004 Tahoe in really good condition with low miles. I received what I believe to be really fair deal which included almost a thousand dollars in parts and labor the Pete Moore's service department put into this truck to make it right for a good vehicle (they included the receipts with the truck). This dealer is not "You Cheet'em and How Used Cars" by any means.I'm retired now and been around the block a few times, but I'd give Charlie, Randy and Pete Moore ten stars below if I could, but this review will only let me give five and only recommend sales or dealer to my friends...I recommend both...good people, GO SEE THEM! You might even feel like you've made new friends...I do! And when you see Randy, tell him "Back Seat Wayne" sent you...he'll remember!

Instead of going there and being told that I couldn't be seen, I was sent an email stating that the time I requested was unavailable. A different time was set and I was told that if this time was not acceptable please give the service department a call. Friday evening, I arranged a meeting with Mike Porter for Saturday morning to look at a used GMC Canyon that was listed on the dealer's website. He called me a few minutes short of our scheduled time (9:00 AM), to check on me, make sure I was coming. I told him I was on my way and would be there in a few. "Great, see you then!When I got there, Mike was with another customer; no problem, I understand walk-ins happen. Other salesmen approached me and asked if I needed help. I told them I was scheduled to see Mike and with that, they carried on about other business. A few minutes went by and so did Mike with his customers, just walked right on by me, not a "Hello, I'll be with you in a few..." nothing, no acknowledgement.A while goes by and I am walking around the used car lot, by this point Mike has gone into the new car side and another salesman, Jim, approaches me and says, "Hey guy, are you looking to buy a car? Because I really need to sell one." I thought that was an interesting, honest and funny approach and so in my mind I thought, "Well, if Mike doesn't have time to help me, maybe this gentleman will.Jim and I talked for a few minutes, long enough for me to tell him I had a low credit score, small down payment and was interested in something new or, newer, so that I could get a lower interest rate. We talked about my being originally from Chicago, his being from Cleveland, coming here eight years ago and signing on with this dealership. We talked about finding work and how hard that had been for me and how it had been tricky for him also. We talked long enough for me to think that he was genuinely interested and going to help me make a good deal and buy a nice vehicle. Well I was wrong. Half-way through a sentence of mine, Jim just walked away. Didn't say, "Excuse me" or "I'm sorry but..." No, just walked away. I asked, "Are we heading into the office to talk, or...?" He said he had to go see what another customer who had just pulled into the lot wanted.I got in my truck and left. I did not hear from Mike Porter again. I felt completely rejected and embarrassed.If you don't want to deal with people with bad credit: DON'T INVITE THEM TO YOUR DEALERSHIP! Do us all a favor and just say no. Car buying for anyone can be a stressful experience. It is bad enough to feel less than adequate, but to go there and wonder what will come of it and then be treated in such a manner; it's demeaning and lacking in professionalism.By no means do I blame my credit on any individual at this dealership. I do however, fault them for misrepresenting their interests in my situation.

I utilized the create a deal feature on the Internet and knew what I wanted when I arrived at the dealership. Mr. Heckler although very personable listened to me and reviewed the Internet deal. Came in with my son (24) to look at buying a used truck for my business. Gave salesman a price and style. While he was looking on his computer I happened to mention also I would like it in white as my fleet are also white and he laughed at me and leaned back in his chair and called out to one of his Co workers..Hey did you here this?? And smirked..It was then I left and called management. Explained my issue and gave him a name of the salesman. Didn't call me back like he said he would. I called the next day and he wouldn't return my call so I mentioned this on Pete Moores FB page. I then had my comments removed..Ended up going to Preston Hood in Ft. Walton and actually buying a new truck.Hate this company and the service they provided or lack of and especially the management.

Sales personal were good and helpful with suv, explaining the equipment in the suv. The suv was not cleaned on outside, had what appeared to be overspray and other contaminants on the paint, took two visits to get it off, should have cleaned before put on sale.

Buying a reliable first car for my 16 year old daughter was not something that any parent looks forward to. I didn't want to buy her a brand new car since she was so new to driving, but needed something I felt would be reliable. Cornell with Pete Moore Volkswagon made it effortless. We got her a used car but it had very low miles and we got it for an amazing price. There was no haggling or stress involved what so ever. I really was not looking for a new truck but, after seeing the new Chevy trucks, had to have one. I was greeted right away, not a harassing way, but politely. He took his time with me and my wife and felt no pressure. Dickie worked for my business and completed every task need for me to purchase a new truck. All involved did a really good job and the new (after Aug 14, 2015) truck is really, really nice. I bought a 2015 Silverado Open Country with 6.6L Duramax diesel with Allison transmission. My truck I traded in was a 2007 Silverado 6.6L Duramax diesel with Allison transmission. I hope the new one is as good as my old one was!

I have been to this dealership three times and bought three cars over the last five years . This place is Huge and I always feel like "Please Help Me " . As I walked around looking for the internet car I couldn't find ,Jim Pankuch came over to help . Walked me all over and then got a golf cart and he never stopped looking until we found it .In the clean up shop getting a detail job .. Now I ask you who would have thought it to be there ? I have both of my Chevrolet vehicles maintained at Pete Moore since I have lived in Pensacola: 2011 Cruze and 1989 Blazer. Standard service includes oil/filter change, fluid top off, tire rotation (even for the wide wheel base of the Blazer), tire nitrogen for life service and pressure setting, and multi-point inspection for approximately $35. Pete Moore went above a beyond to locate a locking lug nut key for my lost key to rotate the tires, and offered to replace all of my lug nuts free of charge if I bought a 3rd party lug nut set. Pete Moore also calls me if there is a recall for my Cruze and asks to set up an appointment. Lastly, their service center has an accumulating point program that you can cash in at any time to reduce your service bill total. This is the only place that I will take my vehicles to preventative and/or corrective maintenance in Pensacola!
