I recently bought a "new to me" 2015 Nissan Sentra from this establishment. Not only is the show room beautiful and spotless, our saleswoman Suzanne Reynolds was so up front, honest and very accommodating. We went on the last day of the month which was busy for them already and wasn't there very long at all! Suzanne Reynolds has a great relationship with the other employees and they work very well together. It was a pleasure working with her and the rest of the staff! When it's time for another car she is who I will be going back to for sure!! Thank you!!

I've bought 3 cars from Pine Belt Nissan and have always been very happy with the experience and the service afterward. But a few weeks ago I received an email stating that they had a "special deal" put together just for me because I was such a good and loyal customer! I could trade up to a newer model, all I had to do was bring in my car, sign a few papers, and drive out in my new car, keeping the same or even lowering my payments! I know that when something sounds too good to be true, it probably is, so I should have known better. I printed out the email as instructed, brought it to the dealership, and no one knew what I was talking about. They passed me off to several different people before I ended up with the guy who actually sent the email. Turns out this "special deal" was just a straight forward trade-in, requiring a large down payment if I wanted my payments to stay the same. Needless to say, I left with the same car, and a slightly bad taste in my mouth for car salesmen. Even with this not so great experience, I must say I am happy overall with the service at Pine Belt, and will continue to do business there.

I bought a brand new nissan xterra in 2000 and felt it was time for an upgrade. I went back to pine belt nissan in October of 2016 because of my previous experience in 2000. They were great back then and are great even now. I dealt with different associates this time than I did last time, and they did not disappoint again. Jim Brower was patient and gave us his full attention during our visit. My wife and I did our research and knew what we were going in for and the price we were willing to pay. They (we dealt with Nick the manager and Jim associate) far exceeded our expectations, gave us great options and were extremely courteous. I was first referred to Matt Clifton, General Sales Manager, who put in me in touch with salesman, Tim Rourke. Tim called me right away and after hearing what I was looking for and my budget, called me back a short time later with the information I was looking for. Everything was to my liking and agreed to come in on the following Saturday to conclude the deal. From the moment I walked into the showroom, I was greeted warmly before being introduced to Tim. After he greeted me and my daughter, Romy, he showed us our new Sentra. Romy and I were very pleased! Next we were taken to finance, were we met Kevin Morey. We returned to Pine Belt Nissan for the second time in a year because our first experience was outstanding! This time it may have actually managed to top the first experience. Taking on a second new car loan within a year really was gonna push the limits of the family budget. Franz Crane, Matt Clifton, and Cheim Sonnenblick worked together to get us into a car suited to our needs and at the right price! I had a terrible service experience today. The service people are not friendly at all. No one acknowledged me when I pulled up, not even when I went to the table to give my key in. One of the employees William, made a face when I said I was waiting for it since I didn't have a ride. If I'm not worried about having to wait for the car, they shouldn't be or they should offer a loaner car. Looks like I'll have to find another place to take my car for service since this is not the first time I've had issues with them. I just got the car 4 months ago and don't want to continue to be treated poorly after spending my money there.

I recently purchased a 2013 Altima from Pine Belt Nissan. Unfortunately about 3 weeks in the car started having an alternator issue, and wouldn't you know it, it wasn't "technically" covered under warranty. After several phone calls with the dealership I had the pleasure of speaking to John, the service manager. I must say it is hard in today's world to find someone who will really listen to your issues and try to do something about it. John Kravchak is one of those good people. He went far above and beyond to resolve the issue for me, including talking to the sales manager and corporate. The entire time he was incredibly professional, courteous and understanding. I can honestly say I feel very comfortable having my car serviced at Pine Belt Nissan. Thank you again John!!!!

Unfortunately I will not be coming back to this location every again. Called to get a quote/make an appt. to get tire/rim/hubcap replaced because of an awful pothole I hit. To my surprise, they said my tire was under warranty for Road Hazard (even checked with the manager to make sure)..so my tire would be replaced for free! (It was only 4 months old). I made the appt. knowing I was paying extra for the rim and hubcap but felt OK because I was getting the tire for free essentially. I got there at 9AM..it wasn't until 11:30AM that they came out and told me that my tire was actually not under warranty because there was no hole in it I said ok..then you're saying I don't need a new tire? ..They said I did because it was "too dangerous to drive on" ???? I said well then it's damaged from the pothole right?..We went back and forth ..I refused to get tricked into paying $150 for a new tire just because they didn't ask me what kind of damage I had before I made the appt!! They refused to put the tire back on the car because I declined paying for a new tire..so I left there with it in the trunk and the donut still onat 12:30 PMapparently it takes 3 1/2 hours to put a rim and hubcap on. I called so many Nissan Dealerships that day asking if I was crazy or if this was normalthey ALL said it should have been made right by management, since they screwed up. I've also asked for a quote on damage above my gas tank twice now..once in December (which is even written on my bill) and again this time around. Still no answer?? I decided to wait a week to decide what I wanted to do..working from home because I thought my car was too "unsafe" to drive. I then made an appt with another garage for a new tire. They knew nothing about this experience..just that I asked for the tire to be replaced. They brought me into the garage to show me that nothing was wrong with my tire!!! They took it off ..did some testsand told me I did not need a new tire! I couldn't believe it! I've gone to another place just to see if this was true..and again..didn't tell them anything..just that I wanted a tire replaced..and again..they told me there was nothing wrong with my tire! I was so upset that a Dealership could honestly take advantage of a customer like this. So disappointed. I've worked in retail management my entire life and understand running a business and the bottom line..but man, this was shady.

Not every transaction is going to be perfect. We hit a few bumps in the road, but Sue handled everything. As things came up, she assured me she would address them and she did. Most sales people promise the world and don't delivery. Sue is realistic, honest and keeps her word. I will definitely be a return customer because of Sue and have already sent her referrals. Our Nissan Leaf lease was up, and Pine Belt had two in stock, so I made the trek over from Brooklyn to check out what they had. Steve Lanman was the guy who took care of me, and helped me out of my lease and into owning a new Leaf (which, by the way, is an amazing car.) What made the dealer (and Steve) feel different from other car purchases I've had, is that they are simply no-bullsh*t. No "let me check with my manager." No "I'll have to get that approved by corporate." The people selling cars there seemed empowered to make a connection with the customers, and close the deal without playing games. This is the way car purchases should be handled with respect for people's time, respect for their intelligence, and respect for their budget. I'd come back here in a second to make my next purchase.

I was looking for a quality used 2012 Altima but was dreading the buying process based on previous bad experiences I've had at other dealerships. After researching the fair value of what I wanted and locating a model on Pine Belt Nissan's website I contacted Tommy G based on his DealerRater reviews and how long he's been in the business. Tommy was very responsive to my initial emails to establish what I felt was a fair "out the door cost" for the car and my emphasis that I did not want any last minute surprise fees or charges to spoil the deal. We then spoke by phone and he confirmed the vehicle was available and that he could definitely do the deal at my all-in price. His demeanor was professional and free of the expected pressure sales tactics to try to get me on the lot ASAP or require me to put a deposit down. Tommy called me back shortly to explain that the vehicle I saw online was at an offsite storage lot and it would take him a day to get relocated but that he had a nearly identical Altima with lower mileage they had just taken in trade a few days earlier that he could do for a few hundred dollars more. I was initially pessimistic that this was some sort of bait and switch but I agreed to come down later that day to look at it and then make arrangements to see the original vehicle. I was able to identify this other Altima on their website (with a spotless CARFAX report) and it was in fact listed for sale for the additional amount Tommy quoted. Knowing that I have less than stellar credit I completed their online credit application before I left the house so the finance guy would know what he was working with. I then texted Tommy to tell him to look for the application and to coordinate it with finance. I went to the lot a few hours later and was introduced to Tommy, looked over the car and sat down to talk numbers after seeing that the car was exactly as advertised and everything that I wanted. We agreed on the same original "out the door cost" from our phone call and I reiterated that I wasn't going to tolerate any surprise fees/costs after he went down the hall. Tommy stepped away to the finance department and I began to expect him to come back with some sort of alternate offer that "the bank requires to made the deal work" but to my surprise when he returned the deal was unchanged and at very reasonable terms given my credit. He mentioned that finance was shopping the deal for an even better rate, which I quickly dismissed as something they probably say to all bad credit customers. We shook on the deal and started the paperwork. In the process Tommy came back to the desk smiling saying that they were able to get me a significantly better rate, one that I was surprised I would have even qualified for. There was no wait when he handed me off to Mike in the finance department to sign all the documents. There were the expected offers and recommendations to buy GAP protection and extended service contracts but Mike was professional about moving along when I politely declined. I was in and out of the dealership with an excellent deal on exactly the Altima I wanted at extremely reasonable terms within two hours - on a Saturday! I was never stressed or pressured during the process and was very impressed with the professionalism of Tommy and Mike. They really made it a pleasurable experience and renewed my faith that there are still reputable car dealers who know they can create a repeat customer by treating them fairly and honestly from the beginning. I will definitely start my next car search with Tommy G at Pine Belt. I already have him on the lookout my wife's next car.

On February 6th, my daughter and I arrived at the dealership and within a short time, drove away in a new 2014 Sentra. The ease with which this transaction was completed was no different than when I leased a new Altima last August through Nick Cataldo and Debra Smith. I basically texted Nick what I was looking for in a new car. He found and held for me the exact model car I wanted. Nick gave me the numbers I was looking at to close the deal. And because I have leased at least four to five previous Nissan vehicles through him, I knew this was the best I could get. There was no need or ever has been for me to shop elsewhere. So, when I walked into Keyport it was already a done deal. [I have followed Nick from Staten Island to Keyport just because I trust him completely.] Nick had Steve Lanman perform the sales part of the transaction and I found him to be as honest and trustworthy as Nick. He did a great job familiarizing us with the new car and was helpful in every way. Anthony, the finance person was personable, adept, efficient and professional.You can never go wrong with going to this dealership. The personnel are all professional, courteous and respectful. The physical layout and spacious clean space of this place makes a customer feel valued and wanted. Again, kudos to Nick - and to Steve. It was truly another stroll through the park.

About a week before Christmas, I turned my wife's red Nissan Sentra in as the lease expired and needed a new blue Sentra. Franz showed me what they had at the dealership and took care of me. He was extremely informative. When Franz was helping me he treated me as if I was the only one there. Franz and Anthony moved me through the process quickly. I probably could have been out of there an hour earlier if I did not enjoy the conversations I was having with both Franz and Anthony. When my pregnant wife went in to pick up some things for the car, Franz immediately knew who she was (she was not there when I got the car for her) and took care of her, explaining everything she needed to know about the car. In her short time there she left with a great feeling about the place as well.I had such a great experience I can not wait to turn in my Rogue. I was immediately greeted and shown numerous vehicles until I found the one for me. I was educated on all of the facts of the vehicle and felt very confident with my purchase. Update :over last couple of days Matt Clifton, GSM Pine Belt Nissan of Keyport, reached out to me and offered to settle the matter. I like his approach and open and truthfulness on the handling of the issue and he has given me couple of practical solutions to the issue. I have opted for the offered solution. Unfortunately there is no 0 star possible or -10 star possible I leased a new 2015 Pathfinder SL Tech from this dealer on January 10th, 2015. While negotiating the price of the vehicle, we had come to an agreement that the dealer will install a Dual DVD Head restraint entertainment system and roof rails inclusive in the deal, however, the accessories weren't in stock and would had to be installed a week later. After the accessories were installed, I found out that Dual DVD Head restraint is an aftermarket product rather than a Nissan product while the roof rail was Nissan product. The installed DVD monitors do not function the same way as was perceived by me in Nissan's website and advertisements, and the installed DVD monitors do not match the rest of interior of the car and hence spoils both functionality and look. Upon taking up the matter with the dealership, I was told that the deal was originally done with an aftermarket product, however, they accepted that it was their fault of not informing me of the same. Note that roof rails installed were Nissan though, however, strange. They refuse to install Nissan DVD monitors, and asked me to pay extra $1000 to get that instead. They are offering to match the color of the head restraint with the rest of the seat and claiming that the installed product should behave just like Nissan product, which is not the case. I had also involved Nissan consumer affairs who could not resolve the case and to them dealership told that if I paid $800 extra they would install Nissan DVD monitors, something is really fishy here. Besides they are tricking me to pay extra for something which I was already tricked into believing that I had already paid for. This has caused me endless agony and sleepless night. I feel deceived and now I feel stuck with a car which doesn't fit all my requirements for next 35 months. And, since they have accepted that they didn't inform me (withheld information) about the product being aftermarket at the first place, it's their responsibility to mend it.It's an implicit understanding of all the customers that the accessory they find in manufacturer's website and ask the dealer to install during a new car purchase will always be OEM. Stay away from this dealership. And if you are unfortunate enough to land yourself there, make sure you get every nickle and dime and nut and bolt mentioned in paper works. These are very clever people you are dealing with, so be extra cautious. The DVD monitors they got me installed, cannot be played with the in-dash DVD player, and I am not sure how on earth they expect my small kids to load, change tracks to enjoy the movies their daddy got them. While the Nissan product that I had seen and believed purchasing, can be played individually or via in-dash DVD, both. The sales person was Steve Lanman and his sales manager Nick Cataldo (who in fact is the most rude person I met in my entire life)These people donot understand what it means to be a customer and how customer satisfaction and after sales experience is important for any business. We have, in fact, already advised couple of friends who were in talks with this dealership, against it, and they have turned to Edison Nissan. And I am sure, me and my social circle will continue doing that in future.

I worked with Franz Crane to lease a 2015 Pathfinder. Needing a bigger vehicle with a third row, my wife first stopped into the dealership to browse the vehicles with a third row. Franz had showed her what they had to offer but was not pushy by any means. We decided we wanted to pursue leasing a Pathfinder. After speaking with Franz on the phone he said could work with me on the price I was interested in. My wife wanted to test drive the truck before any negotiating. Franz had pulled a truck in the exact color and model we were interested in and had it ready for wife to drive when she got to the dealership. My wife loved the truck and I returned to speak with Franz about the particulars. I usually dread this process but Franz made it hassle-free and really worked with me to fit this lease into my budget. He was very thorough and helpful throughout the entire process and was never pushy. I also dealt with Rich Hendrickson who was very accommodating in finalizing the deal. Anthony Szaraz wraped up the process in Finance and was very clear on all of the ppaperwork. My experience with Pinebelt was graceful. I had already had a terrible day and had totaled my vehicle that morning. I was searching for used car dealerships online and found this one. I showed interest in a few cars and Michelle called me within minutes to ask if I wanted to come by. I decided to do it. Franz took me on a test drive. The man was immediately friendly and very personable. He had the car running and ready for me to try. I loved it and we zoomed through the process. He asked me if I wanted a cup of coffee, which after the day I had, felt like the greatest gift in the world. Within an hour I was singing the final paperwork with Anthony in financing. Anthony was also a pleasure to work with. Everybody was so friendly and helpful. Michelle, although not in sales, came out to meet me and wish me well. I realize car salesmen are supposed to be this way so that they make sales but these were truly genuine people who related to the day I was having and really gave it a happy ending. I picked the vehicle up the next day and to my surprise Anthony had gotten a lower interest rate for me. That really made me happy.Overall a great experience and I would recommend this dealership to anybody. I will also go there again for a future purchase

After visiting multiple dealerships I ventured into PINE BELT NISSAN in KEYPORT and Sammy helped me out without being pushy and was the exact opposite, very informative and helpful, I was very impressed and will be a repeat customer as well as informing my friends and family about this dealerships great customer service and great deals. After visiting multiple dealerships I didn't know what to expect, usually salesman can be pushy and not interested in you if you don't "bite" the bait. NOT in this case with Sammy it was the opposite. He was very informative and helpful and I really appreciated that. He's still in touch with me, which usually you don't find with a salesman. Visited a different Nissan dealership and walked out! Rude, disrespectful and big time game players. After checking out the on-line inventory at the NISSAN USA site, found the color combo I was interested in on a 2015 Altima 3.5 SL at KEYPORT (they have a very good selection of colors and the accessories I wanted). Had not been to this location previously but have to say the difference was night and day and well worth driving the extra distance. Didn't take long to negotiate, feel comfortable with and agree upon a great deal. The entire staff were friendly and accommodating. The showroom, service area and lounge comfortable and spotless. The salesman Franz was needless to say a gentleman to deal with...he walked us through the whole sale and everything that he promised was delivered... after settling on a price(yes we haggled-it is a car sale) i didn't have to go back into finance and re-negotiate the monthly payments or down-payment...there was no strong arm sales from management...there was no up-sale gimmicks on accessories and no after-market insurance policy's recommendations by the salesteam...the whole process went rather smoothly...the bottom line is if you know what vehicle you want and what you want in it then i can highly recommend Franz as a person of integrity...he's 'the car guy' you wont regret dealing with....so best of luck and good shopping

Recently in the market for a 2015 Altima. Wasn't exactly sure on color or trim level. As soon as I arrived, the entire staff was very friendly and accommodating. The dealership itself is immaculate and in an excellent location, right off the GS Parkway. The showroom is AMAZING and ultra clean. The owners clearly take pride in their establishment. I worked with Mandez Jones in sales, who is a true professional - very friendly, patient, courteous, knowledgeable, and straight shooter, no games. I had his full attention at all times. He let me browse their lot looking at all their Altima's for almost an hour. I finally found the perfect one, a black Altima SL with beige leather! Pleasant test drive, was showed all the car's features. Car drives like a dream. Negotiation was painless and simple. Took maybe 20 minutes with my salesperson and the sales manager Rich Hendrickson, and everything was very fair and open. Rich is very nice and doesn't push the high pressure sales tactics at all. This place is BUSY. The car's are amazing and obviously sell themselves. Just take a look at the competition and come here, night and day. From the time I arrived, to the time we had a deal was just under 2 hours, very efficient! They realize most people don't want to make a day of a car deal. Detail took about an hour, and they did a fantastic job. I also worked with Mike from finance, real nice guy. Was explained the extended service contract, but he wasn't pushy at all. Paid cash and signed all the final paperwork with him. Took literally 5 minutes. I haven't purchased a new car since 2006, so I was skeptical at what I might be in for. Believe me, 5 stars all the way around. Beyond impressed! Anyone in NJ, NY or PA should definitely make the trip here. They had over 300 Altima's in stock! But more than that, they actually make the process FUN and totally stress free so you feel like its a reward to yourself and not a chore. From start to finish, it couldn't have been any better. I was highly impressed, and I am admittedly a very tough customer. A++++ I will be back for a 370Z convertible next summer Mandez!!

John, ( with assistance from Greg), was able to Kept me in the loop through the various stages of the replacement He Asked for the engineers from Nissan to also be consulted, as there was a problem also with the rear defroster wires. Mark. Was. Amazing! Okay, I purchased from Pinebelt three years ago after going to other dealers that were less than helpful or friendly. This time around my best friend was purchasing. We scouted out some options from a dealer much closer to home. Of course, it was a terrible experience with cocky, rude employees. But that's fine, cause we knew we would be making the purchase from Pinebelt anyway even though it's much further from home. We dealt with Mark Rousseau and I must say, he was extraordinary!!! Conversation came EASILY and he IMMEDIATELY made us feel special! I was shocked once I found out he was only there a month! Not only was he easy to deal with, but he was fun and extremely genuine and REALISTIC, which isn't a quality you find in most car salemen. Mark is going to be a powerhouse for Pinebelt, although they already are an amazing location! It speaks volumes when the quality of the employee is more important than shoving a number down your throat and refusing to budge. Rich was the manager we dealt with and he was patient and extremely helpful as well. Two times I've been through a purchase here and both times I had great experiences with their people. They truly create a connection!!! After all the miserable experiences I've had elsewhere, I am so happy I've found a place as amazing as Pinebelt Nissan of Keport and I would NEVER purchase elsewhere!!! My wife and I have been following Nick Cataldo wherever he has worked for what seems like multiple generations of Nissan cars and vans. When he started working at Pine Belt, we traveled from Staten Island the next time we needed a new car back in 2011. Although he was not available to assist us this time around [due to our schedule and through no fault of his] - he made sure that Rich Hendrickson would be on hand when we came in. Upon our arrival, we had the good fortune to have Debra Smith greet us and together, they begin the business of either buying our leased car or getting a new one. Rich and Debra quickly offered us the most aggressive lease deal on a new 2014 Altima with no haggling or over selling. Their approach was straight forward, like Nick would have been and has always been with us as customers, and we were sold on the idea of leasing a new car rather than buying out the expiring leased car.The entire experience was thoroughly professional, efficient and pleasurable - which is why I captioned this review like a walk in the park. Debra was simply a pleasure to do business with. It felt like we were visiting a well liked second cousin who was offering us a great business deal. Rich was efficient and courteous. Anthony made the signing of the lease papers easy and simple. All three made us feel like truly valued customers. What car customers like myself want from dealership personnel is honesty, integrity and sincerity. Obviously those are the characteristics we found in these three staff members. And of course, Nick came around to see how things were with us and it felt like a favorite uncle had come into town to visit and catch up on things. Debra was particularly charming and her demeanor throughout was exceptional. She was knowledgeable and she treated us terrifically. After having a bad experience with another dealership, we came here based off of positive internet reviews. Luckily we got set up with Kevin. He was so friendly, listened to what we wanted, answered all of our questions and worked hard to get us a good deal. The check out process ran into some snags out of our control but he was very patient and even stayed after hours to get us our car that very night. Buying a car is a stressful process in my opinion but the customer service at Pinebelt made it much more pleasant than I thought it ever could be. My husband had been looking for a pre owned truck for months and the Frontier at Pine Belt Nissian was perfect for him. He wasn't looking forward to the car buying process so it took him a while to go to Pine Belt to talk to someone. That someone was fortunately, Eduardo Callirgos who is an exceptional salesperson. He made us feel comfortable, non pressured and was very honest about how things were going to go. Once we met Eduardo things progressed very smoothly and it turned into an top rate buying experience. Purchased a used Nissan from pine belt about a month ago. By far the worst experience of any of 4 Nissans I have purchased in my life. I will say, Franz Crane was graceful and courteous throughout the whole experience and would recommend him as a salesman if you happen to be unfortunate enough to step in this dealer. Things started off well when I got to the dealer for the test drive and the initial negotiation phase. The car was fairly priced and I ended up paying the asking price which I was ok with. However, the financing part of the deal was a complete disaster and the worst customer service experience I have faced. One of the sales managers openly lied to my face about the interest rate that was offered to me by Nissan. This is a common practice for dealers to mark up the interest rate for extra profit, but normally the customer is unaware. When I called the dealer out on marking up my interest rate they became very annoyed and unfriendly. Ultimately it ended up with the manager throwing a final offer in my face and telling me "we aren't going to do it for anything less". The general manager Matt Clifton then got involved after I convinced them to work with me to make a deal. Again, I uncovered more lies and unethical tactics. I was being charged for things without my knowledge of them. Ultimately, it led to Matt asking me to leave the dealer because I refused Gap insurance and he "didn't want to do the deal anymore". I left the dealer and ended up calling back the next day to speak with the customer relations person. This person was much friendlier and we were able to work out a FAIR deal. It could have been this easy from the beginning. The level of customer service was atrocious and really left a bitter taste in my mouth. I have never seen a customer kicked out of a dealer due to tough negotiation skills. The fact that pine belt is able to treat any customer with this level of disrespect really speaks volumes. Further, my registration was botched after careful directions to transfer my plate. I made it clear that I wanted my current plate transferred to the new car and was assured this would happen. A few weeks later I get a call from the dealer telling me my new plates were ready to be picked up. Overall terrible experience and I would caution anyone considering buying a vehicle from pine belt Nissan to really think twice.

We first met Franz three years ago, and leased two vehicles. He is just an all around nice guy, very caring and down to earth. He is quite knowledgeable about the cars he sells and was concerned about our best interests. Franz was the only salesman to follow up with a phone call. He asked if there was anything he could do to have my husband come back. While I was not ready to turn my leased Rouge in just yet, my husband went back. About and hour or so later my husband called me to see if I would come and look at the Altima he was interested in. Had three cars in mind for financing or leasing. Came here last because we'd had a Murano a couple of cars ago and liked it, so were testing the first two cars against it. Continue to love the Murano, but this dealership made the experience a slam dunk. We'd scheduled a test drive (to be sure our experience was the same or better), and everything was in order when we arrived, they knew we were coming, and after taking some initial information (10 minutes, max) they had the car model with the features we wanted ready to go. Franz was very easy to work with, and respected the major constraint we had to work under that day (time), so when we decided to do more than test drive, but negotiate and try and get it done, he moved the process along well.They were fair about the trade-in value of our dealership, they worked a few processes simultaneously (like insurance and credit checking), and when it was done, all we had to do with Anthony the finance manager was sign the paperwork. In fact, the paperwork was done before the car was ready. Start to finish, we were done in three hours.We'd come in prepared, having gotten a realistic (not only on-line) value for our trade-in, and for the features we wanted. I think they realized that, and they adjusted how long it takes appropriately and with concern for our time constraints. That's always bothered me about other dealerships, they don't listen, but Franz and Anthony certainly did. I've driven a few Nissans, both rentals and personal, and think they make a great product, but sometime dealerships can screw it up. Pine Belt most certainly did not.

From the moment we arrived and got out of our old car in the Pine Belt Keyport parking lot, we were greeted by our extraordinarily friendly salesman, Matt Fiehl. He was very honest with us and took his time to explain every detail of our deal and the car we purchased. He never looked stressed, and he went to bat for us several times with management. We felt extremely comfortable working with him, and I would recommend anyone to buy a car from Matt. One instance that stuck out in our minds was when Matt matter-of-factly asked us if we were married. Then, he congratulated us several times. Although this seems so simple and benign to most people, it was a BIG DEAL to us. I have to say that no one (ever) asked us deliberately if we were a married couple. We usually get the questions "Are you two brothers?" or "How are you related?" That made us feel so at ease and accepted, and I'm sure he didn't know how amazing that made us feel. I'm so happy with this dealership, especially our salesman. I couldn't have asked for anything more that we got. They went over and beyond with us. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

The truck rode like a purring kitten. I knew this was the one I wanted from the second I started her up.Going through some tough issues no thanks to former tenants living in my house..money is tight. But thanks to Sal and all the managers in that building..they were able to help me leave the lot that day, with that truck, without emptying my last dime I had. They also took in my old car which was a death trap. I cannot say a bad thing about this dealership. We leased our last Nissan Rogue in 2010 at Route 66 Automall. When our lease expired after three years, we went back to negotiate a new car. We were treated nicely, but were not satisfied with the numbers. One time in and out. We then went to Freehold Nissan, which is closest to our home. My husband did not like the way the sales manager dealt with him. Again, nice, but insincere. Mind you, my husband is an easy going guy, but something about that experience made him unwilling to return to Freehold Nissan.Then a friend told my husband about a web site to do a car search by putting in the parameters of the package you want. Pine Belt Nissan called us back immediately. I will admit that the price quoted by the on line rep was not accurate, however when we met with Debra Smith, at the showroom, she was able to negotiate a package that we were happy with. She worked for our sale! She is profesional and a trooper. We recommend her and Pine Belt Nissan highly. Also, Mike in finance made signing lots of paperwork almost fun. Thanks guys!!

I had never shopped at Pine Belt Nissan in Keyport before as it is not near my residence. However, in this instance I was looking for a pre-owned Rogue with a specific equipment package that I found via the internet at this dealership. We were trading in my wife's 2007 Murano and downsizing to a 2011 Nissan Rogue. Rob Carlson, our salesman, greeted us at the door and our satisfying experience continued from there. Rob was very helpful, taking us on a lengthy test drive and explaining all of the features of the vehicle. We then proceeded to his desk where we discussed our expectations for the car and discussed what our price range was. We went back and forth until we both came upon a mutually agreed upon price for both the new car and our trade. Rob was patient, sincere, never got flustered when we pushed back on the price and told us that he would continue to help us through the entire process until complete. He always gave us his undivided attention and was never running to help another customer. Amazingly, when we were moving the contents of our Murano to our new Rogue, Rob came out and offered to help us transfer the contents. In all my years buying cars, I had never had a sales person ever offer to do this! This is why I have given all 5 ratings to this dealership. From the treatment I had received from Rob during the "selling" process to the "financing" portion with Mike, I felt that this dealership went above and beyond with me and was willing to work with me rather than dictate to me what 'they" wanted. i will probably return to this dealership to service assuming that I will receive the same treatment when servicing my vehicle. Wish all dealerships could take a lesson from Pine Belt Nissan of Keyport in customer service! Wish all sales people were like Rob!

I came back for my early lease termination. Vito was my sales person the first time I came here so I wanted to return back to him. He went above and beyond as well as Mr. Willis to help me out. He was running back and forth to find me the color and options I was looking for and wasn't settling until he found "the car". It was a very busy day so I was one of the last to leave. Vito stayed after the dealership closed to show me how the options worked in my car and helped me get set up.Another one of the managers (I'm unsure of there name) was also extremely courteous and helped me also. I went to Pinebelt Nissan based on a recommendation from a good friend of the family. I did not even have an appointment with Fred Hanzman but he greeted me and got to work immediately! This was my 5th trip into a dealership looking to lease a new vehicle. I have spent full days at a dealership from start to finish but not today. .After Fred and I agreed on a price, he handed my paperwork over to Anthony Szaraz who made it work! They did their part in only 3 hours, however, the Rogue that I chose had just come in so they had it in the back a while longer.I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a smooth transaction! First day out looking for a new (used) car so I wasn't expecting much. Sal showed me the car I came down to see right away and we immediately it for a spin. Two minutes with Sal and you can tell he is a sage in the business and really enjoys selling cars. Once we got back he gave me all the time I needed to inspect the car. There was no hurry or pressure whatsoever. We then went inside to talk business and it was such a pleasure to deal with him and Nick. Sure there was a bit of negotiating, but within an hour we hashed out a great deal. Not only did I leave shortly thereafter with my new car, but Anthony was able to get me a better interest rate than my credit union could! They have great cars on their lot, a hassle free environment, and amicable staff. If you find your way down there, I certainly recommend hooking up with Sal. Great guy to deal with who absolutely made this experience a great one.

The staff at Pine Belt Nissan never once just told me there was nothing they could do. Debra Smith literally spent hours with me going over all my options in detail. Joe Aker was my salesman and was a very nice and accommodating salesman. I have absolutely no complaints about him. However, management was not honest with me and my pricing at all. My monthly agreement on a lease jumped up $30.00 per month due to taxes that I was not told of. There is nothing worse than that feeling of being lied to and taken advantage of. They ran my credit and then told me of my actual payment with taxes. (As if it was obvious).I am aware of the end of the month push and seeing today is the last day of September, I realize that they were trying to swindle me to get a sale. I have a client who is in management at a local Honda dealership and when I spoke to him about this, I was told this is completely unethical behavior. Looks like I will be buying a Honda.

I can't say enough about the sales and financing staff. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. They listened to what I said. They found the vehicle I was looking for. No pressure to buy. Staff did not try to pressure the sale or try to sell me something they wanted. All this said concerning the sales and finance staff I am highly disappointed in the staff responsible for the cleaning and prep of the new vehicle. There was dirt and smudges on the windows and mirrors. Also a 4 finger greasy hand print on the back seat. It is a shame that the prep staff partly ruined the best car buying experience I have ever had. I am ready to retire so I have had any buying experiences in my life.

The service at Pine Belt Nissan in Keyport was exceptional. I have been to a few different dealerships and this one was clearly the best. One of the main reasons that I consider the service exceptional was Rob Carlson. He assisted in getting me out of my old lease and into a new lease. Even though I was 99% sure I was going to get another Nissan Rogue I asked if it would be a problem if he ran numbers for the Nissan Murano. Also knowing I was not going to lease the Murano, he ran the numbers anyway, no questions asked. Rob led me through the process step by step, explaining everything I had to sign, and had me in and out of the dealership quickly. Unlike other people in sales at other dealerships, Rob made you feel as though you were the only customer at the dealership. The finance manager, Anthony Szaraz was exceptional as well. Again he explained what I was signing page by page and was not doing twenty other things during this process he just led me through until the job was complete. The level of professionalism displayed by both of these guys was top notch. Also, the employees at the dealership all seemed to get along well. Other dealerships I have gone to they are always badmouthing each other their backs. The environment at Pine Belt is very friendly. I am happy to have found this dealership and highly recommend asking for Rob Carlson when you go.

This dealership treated me like a star when I bought my car. I was floored by how amazing joe and the rest of the people there were. That was two years ago. Today I write because the keys to my car were stolen. I needed new ones. I needed a tow to the dealership late last night. When my fiance as Brad Benson to do this for him, they threatened to call the cops, so I was nervous when calling. I spoke to a young lady that allowed me to leave my car overnight to be serviced in the morning. I was called at 810 am from Eric in the service department assuring me my car would be taken care of. I have NEVER in my life thought I would be treated so greatly by a car dealership. Since day one I've had great experiences. They are the most phenomenal staff I have ever dealt with, and I work retail and I have MY OWN staff. They are so very caring and considerate. I will never buy a car elsewhere, my fiance will be making his next car purchase here, and so will people close to me. When I explain the treatment I get from here with friends and family they are shocked. As I mentioned before, my fiance and I have gotten into BATTLES with Brad Benson. Who's sales staff is self absorbed, nasty, and cares only about the sale and not about the follow up. Pine belt nissan is the place to go. I promise you that you will not be disappointed.

I purchased a used 2009 Cube at Pinebelt Nissan in 2011. My wife was just about the only driver of the car. So i decided to put the car in her name. That was more trouble than I expected. Since the warranty was in my name, that had to be changed. Even though she is my wife, there was a $50 fee to change the ownership of warranty. Service manager John Kravchak helped me through this with the proper forms and the way to approach it. Eventually, I found someone on the warranty line who helped me as well. I was even reimbursed for my $50. Once the car was in my wife's name, she decided it made sense to service it closer to home. So she picked a dealer in Edison - within walking distance of home. Then I called Mr. Kravchak and asked for a favor. I explained what happened. I then asked how I could arrange to get the maintenance records for the Cube so the new dealership would have a history for the car. He said he would print out the records and I could pick them up on a Saturday once I presented my driver's license. He didn't have to do any of those things. But he understands customer service.Thanks John, for making things a little easier.

I have been to Pine Belt Nissan of Keyport on several occasions and with each visit, their customer service had worsened. I will never be returning nor will I be a patron of Nissan (at least this specific dealer) ever again. On several occasions while my vehicle was within warranty, I would bring my vehicle in to have problems diagnosed and the technicians have never been able to "duplicate my issues". Upon my warranty expiring I had brought the vehicle in for a simple oil change and the Service Rep had approached me with a work order stating that my vehicle needs services done of over $650. All of the stated issues should have been taken care of when I was within warranty. My last issue was on May 11, 2013, I had simply called the parts department regarding a simple part, I had the part number ready, the person I spoke to was Bill, Bill had given me EXTREME attitude and was literally screaming into the phone because he had been pulled away from his lunch time in order to answer my call. Bill was screaming at me as if I were a child that did not understand English. That is intolerable and I will never be doing business with Pine Belt Nissan of Keyport. I highly recommend that all customers stay away from this dealer because your trips will leave you infuriated, feeling abused and disrespected.

When I returned my leased Nissan I was assured by the dealer that there was nothing wrong with my car and I will not get billed for any wear on it. That is the only reason I bought a car from them. Well now a month later I have a bill from Nissan Acceptance for $1600. When I contacted the dealer they tolled me that there is nothing they will do about it. So all of the assurances are nothing once you buy the car that is it. A BUNCH OF LIERS.

I went into Pinebelt cause I wanted to look at a Altima, however I wasnt sure if I wanted an Altima or a Sonota.. so I went to look and was greeted by TJ, at first I was worried cause hes a young kid. But I was wrong. He was such a nice kid and helped me with EVERYTHING!! he understood that I still wanted to look at the sonota and his sales manager Mike came out and he was very nice to and very understanding as well that i wanted to look at the sonota and i promised that i would come back to them if i decided to go with the altima, they gave me there cards and said to call them with any questions.. the next day I got a call from Ashley who was such a sweet girl!! she thanked me for coming in and i explained everything to her and she was understanding too and told me to call them with any questions.. I went to look at the sonota and the dealership i went to was nothing like pinebelt, so i called Ashley she set me up with an appointment to come back in with TJ , went that day and bought the car and my finance manager Anthony was a very nice guy as well... I decided to ditch my old Pontiac and try out a Nissan. I walked in a little hesitant, not knowing what kind of price or car i was going to get. But after talking with Eric my worries were at ease. He helped me find what i wanted in my price range and was not a pushy car salesmen you see on TV (Wasn't a big fan of his ties though). I have given this rating because I had a excellent experience at this dealership. I went to the dealership and requested a quote and got one instantly. I was not pressured into adding anything on to the vehicle that I had not originally requested. I appreciated this. It showed me that the sale was being done how I wanted it. Rob was a great salesman, he answered all my questions and took the time to show my all the aspects of my new vehicle. He made me feel comfortable when asking the questions, I never once felt like he was trying to add pressure on me to make the deal. I respect that because when salesmen are to pushy, it becomes an annoyance. Rob got me a wonderful price and all the features that I wanted in my new car. The quality of the work ethic at the dealership and from Rob was also wonderful. With Debra Smith as the lead contact person, Pine Belt provided me with the deal I was looking for. I had been to 3-4 other dealers, including dirtbags at Freehold Hyundai and a few others and no one gave me a fair trade value for my used car . . . until Pine Belt did so. I had done a lot of homework and the Pine Belt folks really listened to my facts and needs and the deal I wanted. Within 1.5 hours the dal as done and I drove my new car out.There is no 'sleeze' factor at Pine Belt, so I will probably buy my next car there as well.

The first person that made my experience good was Robert Carlson came to greet my wife and I he was very nice and well spoken, which he made my test drive a easy breeze went ever all the features in the car and explain everything on the car. He even explained why i should of went to a better model to help me save money. Which was a super plus.. went in fore first oil change at at4000 miles after buying a certified preowned sentra with 13000 miles from the dealership. Very convenient location for me one reason I purchased the car there...their lifetime warranty ...was attractive since I drive at100 miles a day 5 days a week for work.. all highway miles . First they told me I would have to come there every 3700 miles regardless of how I drove (hwy etc) or the warranty would be void even though the manufacturer recomends up to every 7500 for highway drivers. I have taken many cars thru 200,000 miles and I know regular oil changes are a must. But every 3700 miles? Then , I was told my battery was bad....I had only been driving for 2 months in this new "certified pre owned sentra" Now I need a new Battery? I have had no trouble starting etc...Then I was told I needed to replace both the engine and compartment air filter. I thought this would have been done since I just bought the car with 13000 miles on it.The cabin air filter and installment would be $89. The engine $46.00. I forego the battery jibberish and had the filters replaced and the oil changed. I was told this would keep the "lifetime warranty" valid. $ 159 . dollars later , when I thought I was going for an oil change. The lifetime warranty is not free I see , it seems to be paid for thru excessive and unnecessary service required. I was not told that when I purchased the car. And so much for the value of a "Certified Pre Owned" purchase. FOLLOWUP........... To be fair I felt I must continue my review and why I changed my rating. I received a call from Peter Gilson in the service area and asked if I would give them a chance to make things right. I was very pleased with the return service and am happy that Pine Belt Nissan cared eneough to do what it took to correct what went wrong. We all have bad days and could all make improvements to our businesses, I am sure this experience has made Pine Belt Nissan even better than before. I love my new Nissan Sentra and I am glad I have Pine Belt Nissan to help me take care of it . Thank you Peter.

I was comparing various makes and models, other then Nissan but in the same class of car. I had always heard good things about Nissan but never owned one. I was on a search for a white Juke at a fair price. I went to a couple of dealers before finding Pine Belt Automotive including the dealership where I purchased my '08 Rogue but was not happy with the way I was treated so I continued my search. I came across Pine Belt Automotive's website which had a "Chat"option and start a chat with Mike Del Priore online. Mike gave me the information I needed and the incentive to follow through with my search. Mike followed up the next day and invited me to visit the dealership which I did. At first I had my guard up because of the way I was treated previously. I was being told by other dealers that I would not find a white Juke any where, I would be lucky if I could find a Juke in any color no less white plus I was given overly inflated prices because of the demand for Jukes. So, when I visited Pine Belt Automotive I didn't expect much other than another waste of time. Wow, was I wrong! We were introduced to our salesman, Shawn Donnelly, who was honest, sincere and listened to what we had to say. Shawn was not pushy nor negative in his manner. He was very upbeat and positive with all his responses. When it came to negotiation, Nick Cataldo stepped in and I thought, OK, here we go with the BS but again I was wrong! Nick truly wanted to sell the car and did everything possible to make it happen. Nick was polite, courteous and professional in his manner. I was told by Shawn and Nick although they did not have a white Juke on the lot, they would find me one and I would be driving it home by the end of the week. Two days after we sealed the deal, Shawn called me saying he was on his way to pick up my car and we could pick it up in a few hours. I traded in my 2008 Honda CRV for a 2011 Nissan Rogue. When I walked in, a salesman jumped right up which I hate. However, the salesman came over, introduced himself and said he does not stand with people as he understands its uncomfortable and just said his name, Nick Cataldo, and where he is at should I have any questions. I had a lot of respect for that. We negotiated a trade in and a good price on the new Rogue. He was not pushy at all and was actually surprised when I said that he has a sale. He threw in a fix extras too. I have had bad experiences with dealerships and I have to say that Pine Belt Nissan is amazing! I will always purchase cars from them and no one else. It had been several years since either myself or my wife had purchased a new vehicle. Pine Belt Nissan and especially Nick Cataldo redefined the ecperience for us. With a roomy, comforatble and well managed showroom we felt very relaxed during the entire experience. Nick's product knowledge, attention to detail and friendly, accomodating manner made this our best car purchasing experience to date. We felt no sales pressure and we were very impressed with Nick's instruction reqarding our new Nissan Rogue 2011. Of particular note after the sale was Nick's assurance that he would continue to provided excellent service and that we should contact him for any furture needs. Thus far we are quite pleased with the Rogue; the purchase price was the most attractive we had researched (from at least four other Nissan dealerships). This is definately another feather in the dealership's cap. We purchased Nissan Sentra 2011 model on March 26, 2011 Saturday. It took about 5 hours to process all the paperwork. The instrument panel light wasn't working after several attempts to fix it by the salesman on the same day to pick up the car. On March 28, 2011 Monday, we brought back the car to dealership to fix the light and was taken care of after half an hour of waiting. On April 7, 2011 Thursday, we went back to the dealership to pick up the plates which were installed by the dealership after ten days. I feel it's aweful long to take that many days considering the DMV is right next door to the dealership. Also I feel I should be compensated or reimbursed on the mileage to make the extra 120 miles (2 trips)to bring back my car to the dealership for no fault of my own. Thanks. I left the other nissan dealerships because i was unhappy with the salesmen, customer service as well as pricing and almost wanted to forget buying a nissan all together. i kept in contact with pine belt sales even during my search with other dealers. I heard great things about the sales department from other people who have purchased their nissan at pine belt so i decided to take their advise and contact the sales dept. I was in contact with Nick Cataldo and explained to him in detail exactly what i was looking for, what car i was interested and how much i wanted to pay for the vehicle. He was very friendly, professional and honest. He was even encouraging on how i deserved the vehicle when i was second guessing myself. Usually i would say "he was just being that way so he can get a deal" but i really didnt feel he was all about that, but truely wanted me to be happy with my decision. I recently purchased a new Platinum Armada from Steve Linman at this dealership. Right from my initial call to the dealership it was a very positive experience. They confirmed the truck I was interested in was in stock and addressed my questions professionally before I arrived. I met Steve at the dealership and test drove the truck. Steve stayed late and set aside his personal time in handling the purchasing of my vehicle. Having small children at home my wife was tied up with kids in the bath and doing homework; Steve drove the truck to my home in Westfield so my wife didn't have to pack up three kids and leave the house. I would highly recommend this dealership. Steve demonstrated a concern for his customer and it made the purchase of a our new truck and very nice experience.

Rather than rent a car one way, and pay $300 i decided to buy a car, as i knew my other car was on it's last run. I went to this location in hopes of leasing a new Nissan Altima. I was greeted in the lot by Mr. Bob Vazquez. It turns out that Bob and I had a lot in common and we pretty much hit it off right there. We talked at length about what I was looking for and Bob was able to answer all of my questions and steer me in the right direction. When we moved into the dealership, Bob was very accomaditing regarding my requests. We were able to find a car that suited not only my budget, but my wants and desires. Throughout my entire experience, I never felt pressured or like I was being taken advantage of. He explained everything in terms I could understand and was just an overall great salesman. He knew what I was looking for and did not push me in other directions. The car I wanted was at the Toms River location and Bob even took it upon himself to get me the car personally the next day. This was my first time dealing with a dealership and the first time I ever leased a new car, so I was very worried on how my experience would turn out. My wife and I are very happy that we, stayed local, and went to Pine Belt to purchase our new Nissan Altima. We had decided beforehand to choose either a Chevy Malibu or the Altima. Having priced out the Malibu, we had our starting point. Bob Vazquez was our salesman. Bob was knowledgeable, but not pushy as my criteria was pretty basic - sedan model, 4-cylinders, good mileage and great value. Bob introduced to the line via the catalogue - then went to view the cars - picked the one we liked and Bob casually described the car's capabilities during the test drive. After a very bad first encounter with this dealership and a rapid response from the dealership to a negative comment here on dealer rater I did reach an agreement with the dealership through the general manager about price and finding a car I wanted. I feel I was given a fair price. I wish that the dealership would give a fair price when you first walk in instead of having to play all the sales games. The original lease price I was given the first time was $75 per month higher than what the general manager offered me after I posted a negative review of how I was treated.

A friend of a friend recommended Pine Belt Keyport to me after a deal I had with another NJ Nissan dealer went horribly wrong. Figuring all dealers are pretty much the same with the games they play, I braced myself for more shoddy service, but it never came! From start (Tina/phone) to finish (Marc/finance), I was proven wrong in my thinking! My salesperson was Nick Cataldo, who is completely knowledgable, totally professional and downright friendly. I bought the Juke. Since it was so new to the market, it had to be ordered, but Nick kept his word and kept me posted along the way, and it even came in a little earlier than expected. It was definitely worth the wait - the Juke is sweet! Nick went over every single feature of the car with me before I left the dealership and called me a week later to see how I liked it. I've bought new cars before but never has it been so easy or pain free as it was at Pine Belt Keyport - I'm still amazed! I was given a lifetime warranty so I'll be returning to them for my car maintenance and am actually looking forward to it. I called in about a vehicle (used 2009 Altima) I had seen online and I was impressed by the presentation on their website. The girl that answered my inquiry was very pleasant and accommodating. After my phone call I was enticed to go to the dealership and check out the vehicle. I met with a salesmen and he was just as helpful. He was very pragmatic and disproved the stereo-type given to car salesmen. He was not sleezy at all and did everything in his power to get me the greatest deal possible. I also met with a manager. The term "attitude reflects leadership" holds true at Pinebelt Nissan. It was evident that the salesmen were great because management was great. My experience at Pinebelt Nissan of Keyport was unlike any other car purchasing experience. I never felt so comfortable at a car dealership in my life. I was in and out in a short time and I now am driving a great vehicle that I had purchased at a great price. They have a vast new and pre-owned inventory. I decided to use the internet to aid in finding a new Rogue (2010). Initially, the internet representative was great. She answered promptly. Without any hassles she gave me what I thought was a very good quote. The only extras to be added was the tax, destination, and motor vehicle fees. She set me up with a salesman. We made three visits, the final one to make the purchase. When we first went to look at a car, the salesman was friendly, and wrote up the car and prices. He had added in a fee for window etching, $399. I said I do not want etching. First he told me all cars on the lot of etching for securtiy. When we looked at the car, I pointed out there was no etching on it. He said they just didn't get to it. So, I said, tell them not to do it, I don't want it. He told me that I get the money back from my insurance company. And that etching pays for itself. In any event, the salesman said that etching was mandatory there and it wasn't an option to decline it at this dealership and went on to tell me how salesmen have lost great commissions, because buyers sometimes refuse to pay the etching fee. When we wanted to buy the car, they refused to sell it to me unless I paid for etching. Again I heard how every car sold there has it. I pointed out that I checked with my insurance company and they said I would not get a discount for etching. When I told him this, he said my insurance company must be bad. Also from day one, he insisted no one would ever steal a car with etching on it. Nonsense. I told the manager if he showed me 5 cars purchased that day that had etching, I'd buy it. Well, as it turned out, none of them had it. They were only making me get etching because the price of the car was too good. This was rediculous... they gave me the price, now they are refusing to sell it to me without me paying for what most websites call one of the top 10 car dealer scams...... Etching! I walked.... I would never send anyone here. They believe in the etching scam. On friendliness..... I put very bad in survey because although they were friendly, they were also trying to take advantage of me.
