The staff was very helpful and friendly when making my appointment for an oil change. I had to leave my car there and pick it up later and they were extremely accommodating. They even called me to let me know it was finished just in case I was close by to be able to pick it up. Finally, as I was paying, the staff member helping me was extremely personable and seemed to genuinely want to be there helping and getting to know the customers. No customer seemed to be invisible or just another number/car. It's the little things that matter when it comes to costumer service and Pittsville Ford seems to understand this wholeheartedly.

So the service department did a 30 minute diagnosis, charged me 2+ hours labor to replace a brake line, and one hour to bleed the brakes. Started work at 1300 and called me that it was done at 1600 (including a test drive). That isn't even close. Also they charged me for 2 (quantity unknown ... I asked if it was a quart or pint price and it was not a flush ... it was just to get the air out of the lines). $32 per bottle (still not sure if it was quart or pint) but 2 pints completely fills the brake system. After some questioning they took one off the bill but I can get pints of quality brake fluid for $4 per pint so do the math ... even if Ford jacked the price up 100% ... that is 4 times the going price for a pint of brake fluid. They tried to explain it away by saying it was a BG product and came with a product protection plan but my service was a top-off so it was the mixing of fluids so the protection plan did not really apply. At this point I have to say that I did not ask for that sort of service ... just to bleed the brakes. Anyway, they billed by the book on the hours and a lot of people probably do not look too close but anyone who has serviced the brakes knows you can bleed brakes on the rack in 15 minutes on all 4 corners ... it is so simple with a vacuum system. Anyway, I was very disappointed, especially after I had been there before for service on my diesel. Not sure I'd go back at this point.

I took my 2011 Toyota Camry in for the first oil change and everything went fine.also had to take in for a noise that sounded like something was dragging. it turned outto be a problem with the brakes. Your service advisor, Laura Goff, was extremely helpfulto us. We had only had the car a few months and thru Laura's going to bat for us, Pittsville Ford only charged us for the actual costs of the parts and also helped us with the Labor cost. We are senior citizens and this was greatly appreciated!!!!!

I was a little disappointed that my car sat on the lot for approx 40minutes before the actual servicing began. As a result, the overall time, including the time sitting on the lot for the oil change, tire rotation and check up took an hour and fifteen minutes. Generally I am in and out within an hour. I had scheduled the appointment approximately 6 days ahead of the date for service.

Our Car was purchased at Boulevard Ford. Major Problem right after we took ownership.It involved having the car transported by an independent Roll Back guy. After Boulevard got the vehicle (Tow guy was long in getting to us),Boulevard Service guy call and said I had to bring in the second key to the garage. I live 20+ miles from the shop. I finaly had to drive to the dealer and bring the 2nd key. I waited most of the day for the problem to be corrected. The problem was gas mixing in the block?When I got the Keys back from the Service Manager he went on to talk down to me as to when I would need an oil change. He told me when I am sitting at a red light the car is running and it adds to the time between the next oil change. He also said that if I am driving fast it also shortens the oil life. I felt he was churning me for a tighter oil change then normal driving. This did not give me a feeling that I wanted anything else to do with the dealership. It also was not a good way to start with my new car.Having been a long time owner of many Fords(Mustang way back as well as a pickup. Bought several/many Fords at the dealer in Millsboro,De(now closed). From there I bought many many Ford vehicles for both my wife and I as well as our 3 children.I had no intention to walk in the door of that dealer in the future. As of now, Preston Ford has acquired many of the local dealers(I also had a long relationship for many years with them.As I am close to Pittsville Ford I am taking my existing F150 as well as the Explorer there and have always been happy with the staff. First class people that gives you confidence and honesty ALL the time.As you know Preston holds all the cards in the area and maybe they can do some house cleaning at the Boulavard property.ALL GOOD To Pittsville Forddavid thomas

The dealership was very busy that day. Steve worked with us to find the perfect vehicle, a great value and followed through until we drove away. Because of the wait, the staff allowed us to drive the vehicle, come back to sign the paperwork and also gave us an additional oil change at no charge. Tony was great, helping us with the paperwork. I don't believe anyone got lunch that day - but despite that, the staff came together supporting each other and every customer there. Thank you for exceptional service under difficult circumstances. (We purchased a 2010 Ford Escape and are very happy with it!)

We purchased a 2014 Ford Flex. We had been shopping for a new vehicle for about a month. We started out the day we purchased at Pittsville at another Ford dealership. We were disappointed that the vehicle we went to see was not as it was represented on the internet. Specifically the internet read that it had a cloth interior but when we went to test drive it it had an after market sunroof and leather interior. We had a reason why we wanted cloth. I also did not appreciate the way the dealership was not forthcoming with the 0% financing. It was presented as an after thought when they knew were not going to purchase the vehicle. at that time. We left and I called Pittsville to verify the two Flexes in their inventory had cloth interiors. They did. Everyone involved in assisting my husband and i with our purchase at Pittsville Preston Ford was very friendly, efficient, forthcoming and accommodating. Coincidently just as we arrived another dealership called and gave us information on a Flex they had in stock. We considered but decided this salesman and dealership in a couple hours had done more for us and treated us more seriously than all the other dealerships did in a month. 2013 Flex had a failure of the electronics control board. Scott graciously took the vehicle in for service without an appointment, gave me a loaner, and kept me informed during the repair. He was great.Less great was Ford's ability to tell him when the replacement part would arrive, and the condition of the loaner car (stripped down Taurus with 173,000 miles on it).

We had our auto extremely inconveniently fail. Pittsville and Scott could not have been more helpful and professional. The edge was repaired the warranty covered all expense and I have an f150 that needed repair and both were taken care of with absolute care and phone calls keeping us in the loop. This particular dealer was recommended by an acquaintance. I had already done my research and knew exactly what model vehicle and options I wanted. When they did not have it in stock, they found the vehicle at another dealership, told me how much they'd be paying for it, added a few hundred dollars for their effort, and sold it to me at a very reasonable price.They then asked me to fax them all the pertinent information so that all of the paperwork could be completed when I arrived. The actual time spent "doing the deal" at their location was less than 30 minutes. (It would have been less, but a laser printer decided to misbehave!) The salesman then spent at least another half hour teaching me how to use all of the bells and whistles before letting me leave the lot. By the time I hit the accelerator, I knew what every knob and dial did. All in all, a very pleasant buying experience.

my younger brother had recently bought a new car from pittsville ford and recommended K.C as a sales person I should see if I was in the market for a vehicle. At the end of sept. I began experiencing touble w/my old truck and stopped in and met K.C. and told him what I was looking for in a truck and what price range. He found me a truck in the range we had discussed and went out of his way to accomodate me. He delivered it 50 miles to me, and replaced items missing from the online listing info, including trailer hitch,CD player, and owners manual. He then returned w/ necessary paperwork to complete the deal. Even though the paperwork was prepared incorrectly by the dealership staff. I did not feel rushed or pressured in any way. The usual dread of car shopping was alleviated by his non aggresive approach, and enhanced by his dedication to getting the deal done correctly and in a timely fashion. I will also reccomend him to people I know who may be looking for a vehicle.

Overall the experience was good. The car I was interested in was delivered to Pittsville in a timely manner. The price was okay, sales agent was good, settlement person (young lady,was excellent.On the negative side the car could have been cleaned a little better. Inside rear window had a hazy film on it and I spent some time cleaning a protective coating from the chrome wheels.(oily substance) It had caused a dull appearance. All is well now and I would return to Pittsville, if they up-grade the A/C. It was a hot day.

We started looking for a new truck sometime last year. We looked at Nissan, Toyota and Ford, and would not even consider a manufacture that took bailout money from the U.S. goverment. The Nissan looked cheap and we didn't even take a test drive. The Toyota was nice but way over priced. On the Sunday before Labor Day we took a drive to Preston Ford and just looked , because the dealership was closed. I called them on Labor Day, got a good price, and decided too cheak out any dealers near by on ford.com. I did and found the same vehicle at Pittsville Ford, minus the in dash CD player. I really didn't care, just as long as it had a single CD. I called Pittsville and Bill Croswell answered the phone, and before I could get to the dealership, Bill had the truck completly detailed and we were riding home in our new truck within the hour. Smooth operation at Pittsville Ford. Bill and all the rest of the people we met were great to do business with. We love the truck and plan to drive it to Florida this winter. We've heard great things about Pittsville's service department and plan to get all our service done there. Great Job Bill and Pittsville Ford.

On June 19, 2010 we visited Pittsville Ford with the intention just to browse the lot/look at F-150 features, styles and colors, etc., for the potential of a future purchase of a new F150 in late 2010/early 2011. I had a problem with my car (one that wasn't purchased at Pittsville) and I stopped at the dealer I got the car from for repairs and advice. I was told that I needed about $1200 worth of work. I decided to go ahead and just look at trading my vehicle in instead. I met with a salesperson, picked out a car and went over figures. I agreed on the figures, however, when I went to pick the car up I was told the car was sold. I was furious. They didn't even call to tell me, they let me find out when I got there. I spoke to a friend who recommended Pittsville Motors. Cody came and picked me up, went with me to get the car, brought it back to the dealership and found that the only immediate work I needed was to plug a hole in the tire. They did advise that it was time to get new tires, but they said that I didn't need the rest of the work. I was still interested in trading- they found a car that I wanted and went over the figures then delivered the car to me the next evening. My whole experience with Cody was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! She was most accomdating with all that we asked of her and then some, we just went to look and compare but she made us feel so at home (as if we had known her all our lives) that we rode away with a different vehicle that very afternoon. I was met by a courteous, helpful salesperson. Once she knew what I was looking for in a vehicle, she recommended the Edge SEL. It has enough of the features I was looking for yet at an affordable price. The finance department found the best financing for me. I was given a very fair trade-in estimate for my 1998 Explorer Eddie Bauer; the appraiser advised it would have been more but there were some items that needed repair, which was the primary reason for purchasing a new vehicle. My wife had gone to a dealership near her office but her reaction to the entire dealership was quite different than her reaction to Pittsville Ford. They are a dealership typifying the friendliness, helpfulness, and overall personality of Maryland's Eastern Shore. I have already recommended them to 2 friends. A very pleasant experience; I feel like I've made new friends.

I gave KC a description of exactly what i wanted over the phone and he found the truck, he called me when it came in and helped me to get exactly what I wanted. I was VERY pleased with my experience at Pittsville Ford buying a new vehicle. I would gladly purchase future vehicle's and will reccomend them to friends and family for thier buying needs. I inquired about an explorer online via email overnight. I recieved a call first thing in the morning to set up an appt to come in and see the general manager. Billy Hill (the gen. mgr.) met me in person on the lot as I arrived. He introduced me to my salesman K.C. and told him to find me the vehicle I needed and said that if they didnt have anything I wanted in stock, they would go get it. K.C. asked me what I was looking for in my new explorer. He then found me some trucks that might be of interest to me and we walked out to look at them. Of the trucks we looked at, there were certain things on each that I preferred that the other didnt come equipped with. The one that I decided to buy was the perfect coloor that I came in looking for and had all the options I wanted except for a dvd system and a navigation system. K.C. saved me money by having both installed for me instead of waiting for another truck to come in. I have a disabled son with a brain injury and as anyone who has ever had a car buying experience knows, it takes a few hours. As we were waiting for the process to be completed, everyone in the office (including Van Salter) showed him respect and were very patient with him. They gave him sodas and pizza, tickets to see the circus, and tickets for our whole family of 8 to go to a Shorebirds game!!!!! They were really amazing!!! We paid cash for the truck out of a trust fund that my son has because he was in an auto accident and was hit by an impaired driver. While the dealership waited on the check from the bank, they sent me and my son home in our brand new truck with a dealer tag until the following day, that made my son's day! They might be in a small town but everyone there had a very big heart. As I said , I would gladly give them repeat business and would reccomend anyone to purchase thier next vehicle there. I feel they always take the extra steps to maintain a relationship way beyond the sale of their vehicles. As soon as I began browsing cars, Bo, the salesman approached my family and I. He was very nice and knowledge on the mustangs I was interested in. I test drove it, and being short on time we planned a time to come back and figure out some numbers. When I got back to the dealership the mustang was sitting out front and had been clean and detailed for me. After much consideration, and Bo being extremely patient I test drove a brand new mustang and decided that was the car I wanted. Bo and the manager worked up numbers to my liking and treated me very well. They were very down to earth and talked to me as if I knew them longer than a matter of hours. We were actually thinking of just investigating the service department; however, our 2000 Ford Explorer was racking up the mileage and we wanted to look at a new Ford Explorer when we met Bill Croswell. We did like the Ford Sport Track but did want to take a look in Easton as well. Mike went beyond the norm in taking time with us to go over every single question we had. We still said we'd like to go to Easton to look. Mike said: "Hey, take the Sport Trac to Easton, use our gas and there is no obligation whatsoever." We did and decided basically because of Michael and the friendly family atmosphere at Pittsville Ford to purchase the Sport Trac at Pittsville Motors. Even now, Michael calls to see if all is well with us and our Sport Trac.The service dept. is as easy going and friendly as the sales dept. In August of 2008 my old car died on me. I wanted to buy a brand new car. First, I went to another dealership to purchase a car. Then I spoke to Mike on the phone and he asked that I give him two days to find the same car I wanted for a better price. True to his word he called exactly two days later with a better deal! In fact the car he found me I liked even more than the one at the other dealership! It's a good feeling to have someone as dedicated as Mike on your side! I spent quite a lot of time looking for a new car both in Maryland and New Jersey. At most other dealerships I was treated OK but at Pittsville Ford they treated me like family. Mike M took the time to answer my questions and when he did not know the answer found someone who could answer the question. In August 2008 I went to Pittsville Motors to purchase a new Ford Fusion. When I got there a salesman by the name of Michael Moutzalias approached me and offered to show me all the Ford Fusions on the lot. We went around together and I picked the one that I liked. He showed me everything about the vehicle as well as went on a test drive with me. He was very enthusiastic, energetic and definitely a thorough salesman. I have since then visited Pittsville motors for oil changes and everytime I have visited them I was offered coffee or a refreshment and out in a reasonable amount of time. I would definitely recommend Pittsville Ford to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle!!! And by the way I Love my FUSION.

I was looking for a used pickup truck and had some pretty specific criteria for my needs. Mike found the perfect truck, with low mileage and perfect condition, to meet my needs, all at a price well within the range I had in mind. A few modifications needed to be made and he and the Pittsville Motors people got them done in short order. Months later, when I had a flat tire and could not unfasten the nut holding the spare tire, Mike came out and took the truck back to Pittsville Motors, where they freed up the spare tire fastener and even changed the tire for me -- without charge. I call that service above and beyond the call!

I wasn't sure if it was extinct, but dealing with Mike during our purchase of a new Ford Explorer Sport Trac let me know that great service and personal care still lives. I have purchased many new cars in the past twenty years and most times have left the dealerships feeling like I needed to take a shower. We only went in to look at a car we found advertised on their web site. We were not really thinking of buying at the time but the dealership went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable, nothing was too great to do for us. They willingly kept me riding in my old (clunker) for a couple of years as I was not in a position to purchase a newer vehicle. Bill was extremely helpful in obtaining the vehicle I wanted as there was none in stock at the time of my visit He was courteous at all times and was always there waitng during subsequent visits. I got an excellent deal on a used 2007 Ford Expedition that had only about 4500 miles on it. All scheduled service has been performed at Pittsville Ford and they even polished out some scratches on the door to determine if any paint or body work was necessary, all at no charge!! I would highly recommend this dealer for any work or sales, even if the auto needs to be transferred to them from another Preston location.

The sales representiative was friendly, but not aggressive. He gave us ample opportunity to test drive several different new vehicles that interested us. The negotiation process quickly got to the bottom line and there was not a bunch of gamesmanship. We feel we got our new vehicle at a reasonable price and received a fair offer on our trade in. I would deffinetly consider this dealership and the sales representative I dealt with the next time I am interested in buying another vehicle.
