After going to a few other dealerships where the salesmen were extremely pushy, it was a relief to go to Planet-Honda. Mel was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and went out of his way to accommodate us. They even let us bring the car home overnight and drive it the next day as an extended test drive, which really sold me on the HRV. Planet-Honda made the car buying process easy and enjoyable. I love my new HRV!

Everything was great. We didn't go in expecting to buy a car (probably typical for most), but they had a great CPO Pilot that was in fantastic condition. Jae did a great job in getting us the test drive and we came back later with our Accord to trade. Prices were fair on both the Pilot that we purchased and the Accord that we traded in. Took a couple of hours and we were on our way. Good deal on both ends in my opinion.

I am very pleased with the salesman that sold me the used vehicle and would recommend him to anyone! I am not very pleased with the trade in allowance I received and feel that more should have been offered. I don't feel that Scott has the customer's best interests in mind and that he is only wanting to make as much money on each deal as possible without regard for the customer. I realize they aren't in the business to loose money, however, they should have offered more money for my trade. Since they only offer one priced vehicles there is little room for deal making other than the trade in allowance. Wouldn't recommend dealing with Scott if possible. Joe in finance is great and really appreciate his approach and his professionalism. Not so sure that I will return as a customer if Scott has anything to do with it.

I was calling around to see if I could find a way to sell my Prius before going out to look for a new car, and I was surprised to discover that Planet Honda has a very big and very professional used car acquisition program--and not just Hondas. I drove in from out-of-town for an inspection, got a fair and firm offer that was good for 3 days, then drove back and dropped the car off the next day. During these interactions, I dealt with 3 different employees, all of whom were genuinely friendly and all of whom were kept well-informed by their colleagues of what agreements had already taken place. I was very impressed at how easy it was to sell my car for a price that Kelly Blue Book signaled as fair. I highly recommend this operation.

I had initially written a negative review, but retracted that after I communicated with Planet Honda more. I took my truck to them as they were interested in purchasing it. There were a few issues with my vehicle that I had not known about, but they still worked with me and gave me what they were going to give me prior to the issues. The car I wanted to buy from them was sold the previous day, so I looked at a few others, but was unable to find one that suited me. The acquisition department was very good to work with and Mel was a great guy and tried to find me a vehicle that suited me. One of the mechanics even rode with me in a car after I advised there might be an issue. They treated me well and I would definitely recommend them. Even provided a shuttle ride after I couldn't find a new car. I appreciate their help considering I came from so far away. I would do it again.

Planet Honda KBB department contacted me based on my craigslist ad. I was honest about the vehicle and some minor damage. I asked them before coming down to sell them the vehicle to be honest and not scam me nor low ball me. After arriving they determined the minor body damage that I disclosed was "major accident damage" and their skilled mechanic said "there are oil leaks everywhere, but I dont know where it's coming from"...with that in hand they cut their offer in half...they knew the damage from the craigslist ad photos, and a general "gee there are oil leaks" from their skilled mechanic is a joke...their mechanic didnt even report the things that I knew about....DON"T buy into this scam and waste 3 hours of your life

My mechanic had recommended Kelly Blue Book Auto Trader. It's easy to complete the forms, then you receive an "instant offer" for you car along with a fair price trade in range. Tyler Bejarno with Planet Honda called me immediately the next day and arranged a convenient appointment. My car was inspected and I was actually offered more, $1100 but negotiated an increase to $1400. Tyler was courteous, efficient, professional and there was absolutely no pressure to take the offer or buy a new car. I might have been able to get much more through a private sale but can't tolerate the hassle. What a great service to all of us and great PR for your dealership.

Our experience with Planet Honda was an exceptional one.We were treated like royalty by the wonderful sales rep. from the minute we walked into the time we left.We were interested in looking at Pre-owned Hondas in hopes of finding one within our budget.We were immediately shown a great selection with a spectrum of variety.Each in excellent condition. All the facts and figures in each of the wide selection were presented so we could make an educated decision. First of all I question my 2014 CRV, 28,000 mile Honda is not covered under the warranty when a seal broke on my rear differential. Second, we were told that we would hear back yesterday if the car would not be finished. We brought it in on a Tuesday and this was a Wednesday. Nobody returned our calls. We needed to know because we have a rental car to return. We are now nearing the end of the day on Thursday, we received a call from a young woman saying our parts were in, we didn't order any parts, so obviously that is why they did not get it finished yesterday, but still no call. Where is the customer service folks!

We changed our mind on the vehicle we were buying at the last minute because we decided we didn't need the extra bells and whistles. I had a car to sale. I posted an online ad an received a call from planet Honda the next day. We discussed price and condition and came up with a price range which was fair. ( I was skeptical since I had been asked to do the same at John Elway Chevrolet earlier that week. Then arrived to be offered $9,,500 less than their online offer ) I arrived at planet Honda. Had my vehicle inspected and we arrived at a price as we discussed on the phone. Within 30 minutes I had completed my sale at a fair price.

I stopped into Planet after the original dealer I was going to sold the vehicle I was coming to see. I had a couple "backup" vehicles in mind at Planet. Let's just say I have no doubt the backup ended up better than the original dealership I was going to! I work with a major credit union, and I work directly with most of the major car dealers in the state. Furthermore, being a "car guy", I have purchased many vehicles from many dealerships. Planet is by far the BEST experience I have EVER HAD. The pricing is straight forward, the trade values are straight forward, and the staff is amazing. I HIGHLY recommend working with Jahneil Johnson. He is personable, knowledgable, and just a pleasure to be around. I also worked with the GM Scott, and the Finance Director Joe. They are all top notch. The sales people here are not paid on commission, so there is no pressure. If you are looking for vehicle, do yourself a favor and visit Planet. You will NOT be disappointed!

We went in to test drive a new Honda Pilot and were met by Monica LeClair, who was very friendly and quick to explain that Planet Honda sales consultants are non-commissioned and are not trying to push high dollar vehicles. It was very relaxed atmosphere without the traditional slick feel you get from other dealers. She and the team were very flexible in allowing us to try the car, walk through 3rd party comparisons with competitors, and ultimately were very accommodating and made the buying process very easy for us when we purchased a Pilot a few weeks later from Monica.

My only complaint was the 2+ hour wait from the time we had agreement on numbers until the time the finance manager was free to meet with us to wrap up the deal. And of course be ready for the hard sell about all the extra dealer options and extended warranties that are available. Even though we were clear we didn't want any of that stuff, we still had to suffer through with the lecture about how you should really protect your new investment.Erin at internet sales and Lacey in the showroom were great.

I have never been treated so well or felt more comfortable in purchasing a new car. Mr. Ed Mueller was extremely. Patient in explaining how this car was different from the car I was trading in. He took a long time explaining all the new features I was not familiar with and let me try them many times under his watchful eye. Lacy was great to work with, no sales pressure at all and when she didn't have an answer to a question I would ask she didn't pretend to know the answer, she went and got the right answer. The financing was also a good experience, no pressure, and I didn't feel they were trying to talk me into anything. the only reason I gave four stars instead of five is the service department was not a good experience. I bought a used Mini and was not kept informed as to what was going on from day to day. I had a 7am appointment to have the AC system checked and at 4pm I called them since I had not received a call from them. I ended up taking the car to the Mini dealership myself. Keeping the customer informed is a very big part of sales and they failed there. Im glad from this point forward I only have to deal with Schomp Mini dealership and not Planet Honda's service center.

The salespeople get incentivized on volume sales, not individual sale value. This means they work just as hard to sell an entry level Civic as they do a loaded Pilot. No negotiating. We bought a CR-V, and had such a good experience that we went back the next day and traded our second car in on another CR-V.

When I first arrived at Planet Honda this past Monday morning, I requested a woman salesperson and I was introduced to Lacey. I could tell when I first met her that we would get along very well, and I was right. Lacey is very knowledgeable and very gracious, welcoming, and most easy to work with. I thought I was sure what I was looking for when I first got there but found that I really wasn't sure. Lacey encouraged me to look around at everything Planet Honda has to offer and I was happy that she did. When I first saw the new Honda Civic I knew I had to have one just like it in silver. Lacey arranged for a beautiful silver one to be delivered to the Planet, and my son Steve and I picked it up on Thursday morning. I love love love it. I must mention here how truly outstanding Nick (the Sales Manager) was, in helping us with the whole process, and especially for assisting me greatly in getting a refund on an extended warranty on my trade-in, from Auto Aves. Also many thanks to Joe (the Finance Director) in making the paperwork more pleasant and easy to understand. Our whole experience there couldn't have been better! The. Service Department employees are friendly, polite, professional and timely. I had to make two visits to have have a leak in my AC repaired. The mechanic worked very hard during the first visit to find it but could not. He insisted on a return visit after putting dye in the system and on the return visit found a very tiny leak. He walked me through the whole process and even took me back to see what he was going to do with my car. I had driven down from Winter Park and had a lot of shopping to get done. They arranged for me to rent a carfor a very modest sum so I could get my shopping done while the repair was completed.

I brought my 2009 Honda FIT in to Planet Honda for an ignition repair. My car was there for 3 days -during that time I spoke on the phone to the service manager several times discussing the issues, price, etc. NOT ONCE was I informed that my car was a model on recall for an airbag issue that had caused several fatalities. It wasn't until I picked my car up and paid my bill that the tech casually mentioned that my car was on recall, but that the parts necessary to fix the airbag wouldn't be in for several weeks, and if I wanted a free rental while waiting for the parts I could "call the service dept tomorrow" to try and set up a rental. There was no offer to let me leave the car there and come back for a rental -- in other words, I was sent on my way to drive home several miles knowing my airbag, if deployed, could kill me. Nice. Needless to say I took the car to Auto Nation Honda the next day and they were awesome - told me I could leave my car there until the parts came in, an Enterprise rep came and picked me up and got me in a rental. I was also told if I chose to keep my car at home and wait for the parts I had to sign a waiver stating that I would not under any circumstances drive my car or allow anyone else to drive it. Obviously, they took the recall much more seriously than Planet Honda. In fact, a rep told me Auto Nation towed a customer's car to her residence rather than let her drive it, and offered to tow it back to Auto Nation once the parts came in, rather than let her drive it home. It's a no-brainer - take your business to Auto Nation Honda and avoid Planet Honda.

While our family was on spring break in Colorado, our Honda Odyssey blew a spark plug and as a result we were 1200 miles from home and without a car. Mark Rainey and Pat Fogarty were there to make this overwhelming situation as easy as possible. Mark identified the problem with our Odyssey quickly and gave us as many possible solutions to the situation as he could quickly and accurately. Once we decided that a new car was the only course of action Pat Fogarty immediately stepped in to get us in the right car at the right price. We first enjoyed being able to look at cars on the lot without being swarmed by vultures posing as salesmen. Then, when we went inside to ask questions, one person greeted us at the door, answered our questions, researched and found the model and color we wanted, took us for a test drive, and continued to help us through the process. She was well informed, but when we asked something she was not sure of, she went and asked someone else or researched the answer. She just didn't tell us she didn't know. She was friend, helpful, knowledgeable, but not pushy at all. When we decided to purchase the car, she continued to be helpful and even offered to deliver it to us (we lived out of state) when the features we decided to add on were completed. The person who did the paperwork was equally as knowledgeable, friendly, and, again, not pushy. The manager called us the next busy day and apologized for not being able to meet us and asked if we received good service, and if he could do anything else for us. He made us feel like he really cared that we purchased a car from his dealership. There was no haggling over the price and we felt we got a fair deal.

In Dec 2015, we decided to lease a Honda Civic for our daughters to use for school and work. By Dec 31, we were ready to do the deal, but were waiting on two dealerships to get back to us with the answers to our final questions concerning leasing (we had never leased a vehicle before). Nick from Planet Honda, who had worked extensively with me in answering all my questions, was the first to call back on that day. We set up an appointment that afternoon and within a few hours closed the deal. Nick even informed us the lease on the car we chose would be $20 less per month because it had 65 miles on it instead of the 10-15 miles. Tony helped us through the waiting time while the paperwork was being prepared and was another fine example of their staff.We did noticed a few small scratches and a small spot on the upholstery, but Nick had Austin schedule us with a time to have their specialists come out to the shop and fix those issues. They even had a shuttle to take me back home and then pick me up from Arvada so I wouldn't have to make arrangements for another driver. Gary from Arvada

I called to schedule a recall with Planet Honda however I also wanted some extended warranty work done on one of my pistons. The woman I scheduled with couldn't get me in for at least 6 wks which put me out of date on my warranty. The woman talked to the GM who assured me that they would still honor my warranty and take of me. When I got to the dealer they told me that they were not going to honor the warranty nor would they make any effort to talk to the GM or let me talk to him.......oh, and by the way we're not going to do all of the recall work we said were going to. I went back and forth them for a bit but ended up leaving VERY ANGRY and DISSATISFIED WITH THEM. I have purchased 3 vehicles from Planet Honda in the past but WILL NOT BE DOING SO AGAIN. I will also not be referring anyone to them ever again. I will be selling or trading my vehicle as well.

Once again, the service we've received last week was of the highest quality we could only imagine. We were immediately greeted in the lot by our excellent salesperson-Eleanora Akopyan! She quickly secured keys to the only 2 Honda Pilots before the dealership closed for the night. We returned the next day and closed the deal. However, we decided to buy a different colored 2016 Honda Pilot which was coming in 2 weeks. I casually mentioned that I really needed a car now. Eleanora went to bat for us and a DEALER TRADE was made within hours in the Denver Metro Area. We got our Blue Honda Pilot that evening! We weren't willing to pay for several options on the Pilot so after negotiations, we received them for FREE! Eleanora worked hard through her lunch break to help us get the best deal. My husband and I had been searching for a few months to find a used Pilot. We finally found one within our budget, and our desired mileage range at Planet Honda. We decided to move forward, and asked if they would fix a few minor things. The hard plastic seat back on the driver's side was broken (badly enough that it wasn't actually attached to the seat anymore), there was no wheel lock key (so if we got a flat, we would have to be towed because we literally couldn't get the wheel off), one of the keys needed to be reprogrammed, and there were some chips in the windshield (hail). They agreed to fix these things as soon as they got the seat back in, probably some time the following week. They never called. We were then out of town for the week after that (not their fault), so we called when we returned. I was told they had had some computer trouble, and that they would put the order for the seat in that day. They didn't. Another week passed, and I called to find out if the part had arrived so we could schedule the vehicle. They did, so we went in the following week. The seat was fixed, and the fob was programmed. We were told we would need a new windshield rather than just fillers, and that they would call to schedule that later in the week. They didn't. I called at the beginning of the next week and was told they would call me that day. They didn't. I called again the day after, and was placed on hold for THIRTY minutes before a manager got on the phone and told me he would have to call me back. He did. When I explained what still needed to be done, he said he didn't have any record of the wheel lock key in our history (we asked four times), but that in order to do that, we would have to bring the vehicle back in to get a proper fit (fine). He scheduled a SIX hour window to fit the key. They will supposedly be replacing the windshield that day, although that has yet to actually be scheduled by them. We will not be going back to this dealer after they fulfill the checklist specified in our purchase agreement.

I was passed off to a different person, but no big deal I thought.The vehicle was given a test drive and all went well till here. We went in to purchase the vehicle with cash and while there, was told the vehicle was sold. SAY WHAT? What kind of procedure is this? I had it last and it should have been my option to buy or not. Whoever drove it before had their chance. Why offer me a test drive if it is sold? Very lousy method of doing business. A letter will be sent to the management on such lousy, poor, and inconsiderate event. Am I mad, YOU BET! Be sure when you test a vehicle that no one else has dibs on it!!!!!!!!!!

I spoke with this dealership after a horrible experience with a Nissan dealership in Murray, UT. I explained what I've already been through and that I was wanting to trade my newly purchased vehicle in for a Honda Fit. Their staff discussed their contracts with me over the phone and emailed them to me for our review. They found the perfect car for me, in the color I was wanting at an amazing price. They worked up a sight-unseen trade in evaluation and along with the photos I provided gave me a very nice offer for my trade. Being out of state, roughly 8 hours from them, I asked for this information in writing and there was no hesitation on their part. At no point did I feel like they were trying to hide anything.This dealership seems to be very transparent and upfront with their pricing and trade offers. They did what they could to ease my mind after the nightmare I'd been through with the previous dealer and they were completely understanding of my concerns. I did not make a purchase from them because I was able to get a great deal on the same type of vehicle much closer to me, however since we are moving near this dealership soon we will be visiting them in the future if we need to make a vehicle purchase.

I just purchased a 2010 Hyundai Sonata at Planet Honda/Hyundai. This was the best experience I've ever had with purchasing a car. It only took a few hours because the advertised price is what you pay - no more bartering back and forth with the managers. It's much more simple and up front and honest than in days gone by. The gentleman who helped me was named Dean who has been at this dealership for many years. He is very knowledgeable and professional. Thank you so much for making it so easy to get my new wheels - I love the car and the two year warranty. The finance office has a really high tech computer system that is built into the desk and you sign most of the forms digitally.

I've been on the search for a brand new car for over three years. Typically, I leave the car lot very frustrated when the salespeople direct their conversation to my husband or don't seem to address my questions or concerns.So, I was delightfully surprised when I arrived at Planet Honda in Golden and was approached by salesperson, Gladis Castillo. She proved to not only be a great listener, but also a creative problem solver. When I was concerned about how much larger the 2015 Honda CRVs were than my old 2003 Subaru Forester, she offered to line the two cars up next to each other. And, since Planet Honda has cleverly purchased a 2014 Subaru Forester for comparison, she lined it up as well. Then came my next problem. I have long legs and the Honda CRV does not have as much leg room on the passenger side as does my old or the new Subaru, so when I go on road trips and am not driving, my legs are cramped. Gladis checked with her team leader and gave me the name of a company that makes seat extenders. Voila...the 2nd problem was solved.Before I took delivery of the car, I wanted to have a nearby detailing/graphics shop add some fun decals to the car. Gladis offered to drive the car back and forth to make this all easier. AMAZING service!Planet Honda has gone to a negotiation-free/haggle-free approach, so if you don't like the typical back and forth fight and wasted time, you won't have to deal with that stress either. Bottom line, I ended up with a great car, a pleasant buying experience, and a smile on my face.

Having purchased my used Honda here two years ago my wife and I decided to search for a replacement car for her recently. Our sales person was helpful (no problem with him) but after informing him we wanted to consider other vehicles he brought Christian (Sales Manager?) into our discussion. He proceeded to inform me that since I was a "non-buyer" it would be difficult to complete the transaction, partly because my wife was the "buyer." Talk about a put down by him. I told him he profiled me. I have no idea what he hoped to accomplish by insulting me but if that was his strategy to "close the deal" it failed miserably. We left Planet Honda and I have no intention of returning thanks to our less-than-professional treatment by Christian. We went directly to Ralph Schomp where we were treated with the respect everyone deserves. plus we found an equivalent vehicle for $200 less.

Purchased our leased 2012 Pilot from the dealership. The sales folks didn't have much to do with this transaction and were somewhat helpful. Purchasing your own leased vehicle must not be a common occurrence as they all seemed a bit lost on the process. The complaint is towards the finance department. Complete scam, they pretend to be there for their customers however they are 100% there to screw you every which way. Honda Planet Finance department will only offer you one Credit Union to borrow from. Don't do it!!! This credit union no matter what your credit score is will offer you a high rate. Planet Honda receives a kick back for referring customers to this credit union which in turn costs the customer thousands. My wife and I have excellent credit and were able to locate a better rate with a local credit union. We had to do all the leg work and go back to the dealership to resign the paperwork. Planet Honda must not like return customers because I for one will never purchase from them again.

I can't remember at time I felt so strongly about a bad experience I felt compelled to write a negative review. Rather than giving you the play-by-play version of the story, I'll simply say this.....there are plenty of Honda dealerships around, so do yourself a favor and choose any other dealership to give your hard-earned money to. I've never been so disrespected, out-right lied to (by multiple layers of folks here), and disgusted in all my years of purchasing cars. Never. Not even close. I live 2 miles from this dealership...the next closest dealership is almost 15 miles away and I will now drive to another dealership even for an oil change because I refuse to give a dime of my money to these schysters. Interestingly, I just looked up the actual definition of "shyster"....... "a slang word for someone who acts in a disreputable, unethical, or unscrupulous way." Yup...that's the perfect word. If you choose to set foot into this dealership, don't say I didn't warn you....

Years ago, we owned a Datsun 510 station wagon. We saw an ad about a new Ford and went to look it over. We were approached by 4 or 5 salesmen (vultures), expressed our desire to see the new car. They took over our car and DROVE it to test it. We had one heck of a time getting our car back. Since then we have owned a Honda Civic and really enjoyed it. When our recent car was totaled in an accident, we came to look at another Honda. This experience was the best we have ever had buying a car. Chad was personable, knowledgeable, and so informative. He has a good sense of humor, as well. We enjoyed almost every thing (signing our names got to be almost too much). Thank you Chad.We are enjoying our new Civic and hope to do so for many years.

I went to Planet Honda to look at a used Honda Accord. My salesman was Anthony McDaniel. He was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the car I came to look at. I was not 100% thrilled about the used car so he showed me a new one and I really liked it and ended up purchasing it. I just bought a new Honda CRV from Planet Honda Golden Colorado and the experience was so refreshing compared with other dealerships I have encountered. Steve, my sales rep, was very informative, thoughtful, and considerate regarding all my questions and in explaining the details and abilities afforded to the Honda CRV (I have never driven or owned an SUV before and was a little concerned). Pat, my financial manager, was extremely polite and patient in explaining all the ins and outs of coverage and financing and even assisted in contacting my insurance agent to assure everything was in place so I could immediately drive my new SUV home. There was a slight issue with low tire pressure on one tire that Hoan, my service representative, identified and corrected to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend Planet Honda as the dealership of choice if you are looking for either a new or used Honda. Everyone was courteous and "Sassy" I are both looking forward to a continued relationship.

My wife and I called ahead to test drive three cars. When we showed up, the owner took one of them home for his personal use. The other two needed gas so we had to stop each time to fill them. Not very thoughtful of them. Their prices are high despite their no negotiation prices. We found Hondas elsewhere with better prices and much better service. Look elsewhere, these people don't have their act together.

I had a terrible experience here. I went in to get a recall repair on power steering in my honda accord, and had them replace an additional P/S tube, as well as flush the P/S fluid. I was initially impressed because everyone I encountered was friendly, and I took advantage of the shuttle service that they offer. However, 4 hours later when I returned to pick up my car the Brake light was on. I was told this was completely coincidental and that it needed to be fixed in the first place, it wasn't something that they had done. I was told that they needed to replace the brake fluid-chamber part, and with $230 parts + $230 labor, they could finish it for me today. I opted out, and while driving off of the lot the traction, and the TCS lights came on! I quickly called Planet Honda and was told that my sales associate had gone to lunch- wait, the woman told me, "he's walking by me now" she asked for his extension number, I heard him reply and my call was quickly transferred. NO ANSWER. I left a message, and turned around to return. When I got back I had to explain that I don't expect to take my car in for repairs, and leave with 3 dash lights on that weren't on when I arrived. If the lights weren't on when I got there, why are they on now? Planet Honda stuck to their guns, denying that it was anything that they had done, and that it was purely coincidental that these lights just so happened to turn on while my car was in their possession. I expressed my frustrations to the manager, who decided that he could offer to fix the problem for $229. I stepped away and called two mechanics that I trust, and explained the situation to them, asking if this is something that can actually "just happen" and I should get it fixed, or if there is another explanation. Both mechanics agreed that it seemed a bit fishy, (one is located across the country, they weren't rallying for my business) one even suggested that i check my brake lines to make sure they didn't accidentally cut a hole in one causing it to leak. I even checked a few things under the hood per one mechanics request. I was told by both mechanics that with the model of my car, there is an easy solution that literally requires knocking the side of my brake fluid chamber with a screwdriver to unstick a stuck floating sensor. Sounds silly right? $229 silly to Planet Honda. I promptly left Planet Honda, and plan on never going back. I'm annoyed that I even dropped $280 to get the additional hose, and P/S flush. For my personal experience here, Planet Honda seems like they are out to screw people, I don't believe that 3 dash lights magically come on when your car has been sitting in a garage for a few hours, and if I get opinions from 2 other mechanics telling me to get out of there, i'm going to listen.

Martin was very knowledgable about the car I was interested in and did a search to find the exact features that I wanted that they didn't have in stock at that particular time. He then started the process to have installed other items (block heater and remote control starter) that didn't happen to be on the car they had gotten from another dealer. He was very patient about explaining how to operate all the features that the vehicle contains. (Heated mirrors and seats, adjustable steering wheel, navigation system, audio system including connecting an iPod, setting xm stations, blue tooth, moon roof operation) He answered every question with a clear explanation. He was very clear about the cost of vehicle, including different packages, figuring options for trade-in, down payment, monthly payment, and time of contract. I've purchased several cars in my lifetime and this was the most pleasant experience that I've had.

Upon arriving at the dealership, Martin came out and introduced himself right away. He asked what I was interested in, and quickly explained that this dealership uses a no hassle approach. Every car has a price posted, so you know exactly what you are lookingat cost wise. He also explained that the sales people do not work on commission. He immediately asked if I would like to takea test drive which I did, and after explaining some things about the vehicle we went on a nice drive through some mountain area that gave me a chance to feel the reaction of the gears and engine while climbing and not just driving around the block. Then, we went inside and heexplained the buy or trade in value of my current vehicle, If I was interested in knowing that. I agreed. In a matter of only maybe 30minutes he had all the information for me and actually ran me off a copy of options with the car I was interested in and what the paymentswould be with the current per cent, with the trade in amount. I left that day with all the information I needed to consider buying this vehicle. Now thats the way I like to do business, and it was not the case at some of the other dealerships I had visited before as well as after that.While waiting, he also offered some refreshment. Water, coffee, etc. I said yes to coffee and he got me a cup of wonderful coffee, then uponleaving said the cup was mine to keep. It was a nice gesture and I like that. I felt I needed time to think and sort out my thoughts. Buying acar is a major decision and I wanted it to be the correct one. There were others in the running, but eventually, after about a week ofpondering, what made my choice was the straight-forward approach. I liked that and the way I was treated. It felt fair and honest.

Mr. Ryan is one of the most remarkable sales rep I've known and worked with in my 29 years of owning my own motor vehicle. Mr. Ryan went out of his way to assist my wife who wasn't feeling well in a way that words would be inaddiquite to express that here while I was out of town on a business trip. When I got back, I had to drive to the dealership to personally thank him for a job well done, but unfortunately had already gone home for the evening and requested to speak with his manager who was also elaborated how lucky they were to have him on the team. Planet Honda is simply the best -- sales, delivery of the new vehicle, suggestions to make my driving experience more fun and safer by offering classes for new owners (as well as old), service is absolutely outstanding -- technicians tell you how long it will take and the time is typically under that time. Waiting room is comfortable and filled with amenities including a shuttle service. Best of all the car is washed with each service visit and it is checked over to insure top performance. I will not entertain the thought of going to any other dealership. This one can most certainly be trusted.

I came in to Planet looking at a used vehicle but ended up leasing a new Honda Civic. We visited 3 or 4 times before purchasing. There were no high pressure sales pitches. Chad answered all our questions. They gave us a better trade in price on our Camry than Stevinson Toyota offered. Chad took care of getting all our accessories ordered and installed (Toyota told us to work with parts). This is our second purchase from Planet Honda and we would recommend Chad to anyone.

The wife and I would rate Chad Hicken as one of the most professional car salespersons that we have dealt in buying new cars over a 55 year period in several states. His initial approach to us as we entered the dealership was very friendly and he explained in detail how Planet Honda priced their new car sales after we communicated that we were interested in purchasing a new Honda. He queried us on the model we were interested in and after viewing and sitting in a few models we actually procured a Honda Civic when our initial intentions was to procure a Honda Insight Hybrid. The Hybrid had vision and a couple of other concerns to this customer after our reviews with Chad. His explanations and answers to our questions were very thorough and complete and we got the impression that he wanted to ensure that we would be a satisfied customer. He offered us to do a test drive which we declined as we always do when we purchase a new car. He explained the operation of many of the accessories including the safety featues of the vehicle. He never hesitated to answer any of our questions and never used any type of sales pressure to make a sale which would turn an old couple like us off. Planet Honda has an exceptional sales representative in Chad Hicken.

Our purchasing process was very positive, friendly service leaving us with a good feeling. We had a family death that took us out of town so we were not able to take advantage of the 250 miles/5 day return policy, not that we probably would have. We did experience an emissions problem a little over a week after our purchase. The process to get it rectified took a bit and is still being worked on. The service department, Ethan in the recon department have very professional and working hard to take care of the problem. We have had to make a few trips to the dealership because the repair was sublet out and not right the first time making us have to return. Ethan worked out a vehicle loaner for us since it is 100 miles round trip which has been great. Michael has called a couple of times concerning the emissions issue. Our only issue was that it took us many, many calls before Christian Storm called us back to reassure us that the dealership would take care of this problem.

I bought my first Honda 10 years ago from this dealer because they were the only ones at the time who gave me a little credit (as a woman) for knowing something about cars and sold me on the car for the mechanics not the looks! I have tried reaching them several times over the phone and through email with questions regarding the vehicle I purchased and you know what? I have probably a higher chance o getting in touch with the Queen of England than them. That is unacceptable after sales service. If I would've known I would've bought my car from another dealer.

Bought a 2010 Xterra Planet had from a trade in. During phone conversations (I live in Colorado Springs, 90 miles South of the dealership), it was disclosed the vehicle had paint damage. Planet offered to "go half" on the price of the new paint, which was to be $400 total, leaving me to pay $200, which would be added to the price of the car. Later, the salesperson told me the vehicle also had door dings, so they'd fix those too, but as it turns out, my share has now gone up by 50%, leaving me to cover a new $100. (turns out the cost of fixing the door dings that I never saw was, according to the salesperson, "70-75 dollars".) Price overall was decent enough for me to proceed, despite the dealership's sudden reneging on the initial offer. During the final closing of the deal, I asked for three things: a new air filter (it clearly had never been changed), two working keys (there was only one, plus two fobs), and a full tank of gas. The responses were as follows: On the air filter: "We don't have Nissan parts." A quick call to the Planet Honda service department today reveals that "if we don't have an air filter for a Nissan on-hand, we can get it really quickly." Either an ill-informed salesperson, or a bald-faced lie. On the keys: We won't get a new key. You have to go to Nissan. But it's a cheaper key to get made (Turned out the "cheap" key is $90). You're on your own. Also discovered later that only one of the fobs was functional. On the gas: I can give you five gallons, but that's it. They claimed to be selling the vehicle at a loss, which I don't doubt, but the level of service certainly reflected their bottom line. I was to be accommodated in no extra way, and gotten out the door as quickly as possible, and nickeled and dimed wherever possible. I like the Xterra very much so far, but would never recommend Planet Automotive to anyone - the experience was far less than ideal.

2003 accord headlight out, I checked and replaced the bulb. Still no light, with a volt meter no power at the fuse block or the light plug. Had my wife take the car in, she said they had the car less than 6 minutes. Light was working. She asked for the bulb back so she could return it. This accord uses 9005 series, the unnamed serviceman brought her a 9006 burned out bulb. When she gave me the bulb it did NOT match the bulb I had installed from a two pack. They did charge her. THEFT. I will return in the am and request the serviceman responsible be held accountable. I will also have the local police there as I intend to have theft charges filed against this person. We went there for a new Civic. After choosing the car, Pat F. from finance made us going back and forth on the numbers for a long time. What a hassle. Then we called Kuni what options they have and at what price. When we are on the phone with Kuni, Pat F. from Finance asked us to leave the Planet Honda!!!! !at#$%^&**And on Planet Honda website, it says "Lee and Olga Payne - Co-owners: ................. His goal was to own a dealership where everyone would be treated with respect: from the customers to the detailers......." WHAT A JOKE!!! I hope the owners see this review and fire Pat the Finance guy. The salesman that we dealt with is Jim.We ended up buying the new Civic from Kuni Honda. We also traded in our 2007 Pilot with a new CR-V from Kuni Honda.

It was a very frustrating experience. We agreed on a price for the car but then there were additional charges of $1,000! $399 for a "clear mask", $99 for the security system, and then $500 for a "handling charge". I was also told there would be 0% apr financing, but then when it came to financing the car, they said that 0% was not available because they would have to buy down the interest rate. So, before you buy a new car, ask to see the break down of the price and make sure you include these additional charges as part of the negotiated price. I now have a new car and I should be happy. Instead I am considering bringing the car back and how I am going to handle that fun process.

Beware...bait and switch. My husband looked at a car at Planet Honda. Weeks later Dave calls to tell him the price has dropped. They agree on a price, with the managers approval. But when we go the next day (a 60 mile drive for us) Dave tells us "That Was Yesterdays Price". Planet Honda was not a friendly or trustworthy place to do business.We bought a car from Ralph Schomp two days later (same model,year and miles) for $1,000 less' and everyone was much more pleasant and professional.

I wrote a negative review after my first visit to this dealership. To be fair, I'm posting a follow-up. After a week of negotiating, I got a fair price on the vehicle we bought, but still would have liked to get more for my trade-in. I know it is not fun, but here is my car buying advice:Do some research. Kelly's Blue Book and NADA give fair trade-in and purchase price information. Stick to your guns! Don't talk payments; talk Price, Trade-in, and interest rate!Don't buy on first visit. Always walk out and wait a few days. Every time I've done this, I've been contacted and offered a better deal. I ended up paying $2K less than I would have had I signed on day one!Get dealerships to compete. One thing I did was to get two dealerships to compete against each other. When one dealership tells you they will not beat the deal, you're probably doing okay!Original Review Follows:They waited until I was onsite to tell me they wouldn't honor Costco pricing.They offered far less than fair value on my trade-in.They put a clear mask on every car they sell so they can ream the customer for an extra $400. The vehicle I looked at didn't have it on yet, so I told them I didn't want it and they said that wasn't an option. Apparently, they know what is good for the customer whether you want it or not. Just another dealership scheme to get more money out of consumers. Sickening!

Planet Honda sold my daughter a used 2007 Honda Accord with 33k miles. It has had 3 major issues and engine blew at 66k. First issue was damaged wheel rims discovered when she bought new tires. Also rear end was out of alignment. Second was a documented quality issue which Honda has repaired free of charge where spark plug comes loose, stripping threads and damaging coil pack. Local Honda Dealer dropped spark plug tip in upper cylinder, damaging engine, which threw a connecting rod bearing at 66k. Car now needs new engine. Planet Honda and local dealer have been unwilling to help. My daughter still owes $8000 on this car, a lemon.

I purchased 2007 Honda Odyssey touring 4 years ago. I had all of maintenance service in Honda Planet for 4 years. Odyssey will notice me "Car Need Maintenance" each 3000 or 5000 mile on Car Display. So I bring my car and tell service people what mile I have and they check and maintenance and they reset sign.I don't know what specific service they provide, but I believe it is for safe and avoid future major accident or broken of my car.I took my car on May 2nd(monday) for 30000 mile maintenance. and Tail Gate was fallen to my head on May 6th. (Friday).this was second time for 4 years. Tail Gate of Odyssey was so heavy, I was scared if my kids were there.I called Tom Pacheco, Service Manager on May 9th Monday morning. He said,"I'm not mind reader, you have to tell me where is broken and where is almost broken.""If you open once a day for tailgate, you open too much. open 365 times a year.""if you want to have such a service, go to BMW, or Rolls-Royce(it means checking support bar of tail gate has oil leaking and almost fallen down condition? just open and see for 30 second?).I asked other service people how to find out tail gate is almost fallen down, he show me oil leaking mark from support bar of tail gate.It is super easy to find out, maybe 30 second for just opening tail gate. I thought they checked my car for maintenance service period to avoid future deficit or accident.what they do is same maintenance service with civic. or just oil change or airfilter same as everywhere. not maintenance service by specialist for honda car. maintenance notice is not for help us to keep safety driving. just they want to us to come there to paid more money. (keep showing maintenance notice if we did not bring to honda dealer. that is nice strategy we cannot choose other service.)People who own Honda Odyssey and open tailgate at least once a day, Check the support bar yourself even you bring maintenance service every time to honda planet, they does not check anything for future deficit. you have to find out yourself. Honda Planet does not care dropping tail gate to your head or your kids. maybe any other place too, Break, engine, anyother place we have to find out where is almost broken. according to Tom Pacheco. They are not mind reader.

There was a MAJOR bait and switch going on here. You advertise a price, get the buyer excited only to find out all the hidden costs of things that THEY added to the vehicle without you ever wanting. No negotiation involved and ED was defensive, condescending and rude. We were multi time repeat customers who will NEVER set foot in those doors again. We took all of our future business to ZUNI HONDA at ARAPAHOE. See Rick Christenson. He will treat you correctly because they WANT your business!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I emailed the dealership on a Saturday, and by Monday afternoon I had a new CR-V. Perfect! I didn't have a lot of time to mess around, and was able to get out of there in just a few hours. Chuck Scavuzzo was awesome, just showed me what I wanted to know, introduced the car, and off we went on a drive. He showed me options and protection plans, but I didn't really feel pressured to buy anything. I thought Joe in financing was also awesome. Very positive people there at Planet Honda. That's why I came back after I bought my Civic there in 2002. (That was also a great experience.)I'm a single woman from a small town in Iowa, and this experience felt like being back home, very friendly staff all around.

We had shopped 4 other Honda car dealers in the Denver Metro area. We had given up hope of getting an honest salesman. I love love love my new civic. It is such a great car and Chuck Scavuzzo made it so easy to fall in love with. As a woman, I expect to be treated like I dont know much about cars, however, Chuck treated me like an equal. I wasnt sure what model of car I wanted, so Chuck let me look at and test drive anything that I was considering. He asked me what was most important and we made sure the Civic fit all of my needs AND all of my wants. He is the type of salesperson who doesnt make you feel like you are pressured to buy. He is upfront and Honest about everything. He also has several funny stories and jokes to tell along the way. He makes you feel like you have known him forever. He gave me a good understanding of what I wanted to know about, without all the crap I didnt care to know about! For my paperwork portion, I worked with Raul. He was also very nice and informative. He wasnt nearly as entertaining as Chuck, but how can he be when his job is the boring paperwork that requires 900 autographs...BLAH! I am reccommending Chuck Scavuzzo and therefore Planet Honda to all My friends and Family. Chuck is BY FAR THE BEST SALESPERSON I HAVE EVER WORKED WITH!!!!

I ordered my car in Oct and was quoted MSRP on line. I left a $500. deposit. I made several periodic follow up calls while I waited for my car. I was told the vehicle would be ready in Jan. as I prepared my financing I spoke with there floor sales manager he explained that there were going to be some extra charges. A mandatory accessory package, a protection plan, and they would need 500$ over MSRP now because other dealers were getting $900. He explained they were really not making much money off these cars. I explained I did not want any of the above and that I wanted my $500. back. They then decided that they would not tack on the extra charges. The car arrived and my sales person Martin Estes explained they would need a few hours to prep the car and it would be ready at 1:30pm. I did not get out of the dealership until 500pm. In that time my salesperson offered no explanation of the dealerships various charges he just spoke about himself and his family. When I met with the financial dept. Joe Soubasis, he rushed me through a bunch of forms to sign. I just spent 3 hours learing about Martins family and he can not take 2 minutes to explain why my car is now so much more money. He had an extra 299. for delivery and handling on top of the destination charges. They then added a theft registration plan for another 199. (United Car Care) I told him I did not want these things. He said they were mandatory and I asked what are they? He offers no explination and begins to get agitated with me and shows me anther contracte where the person had paid these extra fees. He said the sales person should have explained this. He then calls Martin in and begins to yell in front of me. The theft registration plan was a scam and Martin later explained that if my vehicle were stolen and recovered without the windshield they would replace the windshield. I hope no one else has to experience this with this sleazy dealership.

I bought a used Subaru. It was a clean car and was told by the sales guy that they went though everything.. new plugs, wires, oil change. Two days after I got my plates I had my check engine ligh come on.. Everything they said they did was a lie. After a full tune up I called them on the "warrenty" becuase I could not fix the problem and I was told to take it to subaru becuase they can not service this car. I am a car guy I am disturbed by how slick they are.

I found a good price on the web on a Honda Civic Hybrid. They gave me that price when I brought the ad in. I noticed the bumper of the vehicle seemed off (gap in panels, paint color). The service manager, internet manager and sales rep all denied anything was wrong with the car. Stupidly, I believed them and purchased the vehicle. Before pickup, I reviewed the pictures online and found a picture of the car with a damage in bumper in their ad. They had obviously fixed it and didn't tell me about it. When I confronted the salesperson, he said "they replaced the bumper" then he realized he shouldn't say anything so he "didn't know". When I showed him the picture of the damaged car, he looked very uncomfortable and offered no apology. I canceled the sale because they lied to me. I'm glad I caught it in time! Be very careful of these slick guys!!

Horrible experience with dealership. Stated and put in writing one amount, once I arrived after a 1 hour drive and 1 hour waiting in reception area, they changed their price on me with no other reason than to say "This is the price we originally gave you". Drive back home 1 hour, found the paper, and sure enough, the price I knew they have given me was there in writing. Emailed the sales rep and the owner, no response to make it right.Don't waste your time with this dealership, they will low-ball you once they have you waiting around long enough hoping you'll ignore the difference.
