I have to share the fabulous experience I had at Plaza Honda today! Being a single woman, I was skeptical about this purchase of a new car. I was extremely happy with my experience from Plaza Honda thanks to Steve who didn't beat around the bush and told me exactly what to expect in terms of getting my vehicle. Once the vehicle got to the dealership, he took his time to go through everything with me, he pre-set certain features for me, connected phone to vehicle, etc. He also contacted insurance for and took care of all the paperwork on that end as well. Great sales person!! Thank you for getting me the car I wanted and not trying to change my mind for another one which probably would have been much easier to get!!! I appreciate it!!!

I took my elderly mother's car for an oil change, waited approximately 2 and half hours and got the car back without the oil change. I got a receipt with an incorrect email address. I had to go to work and couldn't hang around. I called to speak to the manager and was told he was in a meeting. I then called the operator who put my call through to speak to the the manager. He made excuses and asked me to bring the car back after I had already waited for hours.

He stayed with my wife and I the entire time, explaining the features and capabilities of the vehicle. He got all the necessary paper work [insurance etc.] with the ease of the professional that he is with no fuss or commotion.We were able to drive the vehicle home from the showroom after completing our financial transaction, without a hitch. I went to Plaza Honda today (KEY TAG 5048) and had a very very bad experience. Arrived there at 3:00 PM and after "4" hours (Yes 4 hours. I am not kidding. I swear to god) at 7:00 PM, a lady came and asked me why are you waiting and who is taking care of you? I replied, oil and filter change and you are the one who is supposed to take care of me because I talked with you when I arrived here and you gave a receipt and said to me to wait. Then she straight said to me I do not remember you (Wow ! What a nice customer service). She took my receipt and went out. After few minutes, she came to me and said, we did not touch your car and we will change car's oil and filter right now. The time was 7:10 PM. I just said, give me the car and I will go to somewhere else to change oil and filter. I have been to many places to change oil and filter but this place is the worst one. It looks like they are getting more than enough customers nowadays and they just don't care about customer service

Bad experience, 5 employees passed by me while I stood at reception desk and no one asked if I needed assistance. I called the business so someone would come to greet me, I was finally introduced to a sales person. The sales person (Roy) was not interested in my car preferences but was more interested in making a sale and rather than discussing my options as a buyer, he discussed about his commission and how much the sale would help him. In addition, when we discussed about my car as a trade in, he was making fun of me and the car I drive, suggesting my car was worthless, that I still need to roll my windows down manually. The whole experience was a waste, rather than helping me make the right decision picking the right car at the right price, I was pressured into buying a car just so he can make his commission.

But Jamal went above and beyond to make sure I received what I wanted and to protect me in my vehicle by getting things done that I didn't even know needed fixing. I went over to Hyundai to purchase a car two Sunday's ago. I was acknowledged by no one and was not asked if I needed help or if I was interested in a particular vehicle. After 30 minutes of asking strangers if they worked there, and they giving us the same response that they were too looking for help I was finally able to find an employee. I assume they were understaffed that Sunday because I saw very few workers there. After waiting further we were introduce to Lawrence Hinds from Honda. To believe Hyundai had to bring a worker all the way from the Honda department to assist us. But what a blessing it would be. Mr Hinds was professional and personable. To be thrown into a department that was not his comfort zone, Mr Hinds was able acclimate himself with Hyundai vehicles quickly. We found the specific car we wanted. Mr. LawrenceHinds was told that our vehicle would be delivered Monday because Hyundai did not do deliver cars on Sunday. Monday came, my husband and I are excited to pick up the car. We received a call from a Hyundai rep saying their was a system error and that the card had already been sold. This is after we had added that car vin number to our insurance policy plan. Again mr hinds to the rescue kept in contact with us and stated that he would continue to look for another vehicle for us and apologized on behalf of Hyundai. Let me remind you again that he works at Honda. Mr Hinds called a few days later to inform us that he had a vehicle for us and that it would be delivered Friday. We went to pick the car up Saturday. Mr hinds called that morning to confirm that we were enroute for our appointment. We arrived to Hyundai and mr Lawrence took us to the ar and showed us all the features. Mr Lawrence hinds deserves a promotion and a raise. He stayed with us throughout the whole process to ensure we left happy with our new 2016 Hyundai Sonata hybrid. Blake allman assisted us with numbers and signing the documents. He was a great help too and answered our questions. I would definitely revisit Hyundai only if I could work with mr Lawrence hinds fron Honda. Thank you for all your help and attentiveness. You are the epitome of an upstanding man and professional. Keep up the rest work.

I went in to lease a Honda .. After providing the sales rep " Tony " with all my information and letting him know my specific credit circumstances .. he ran my credit and returned to inform me that the monthly cost for the lease was $299.00. Relying on his honesty and integrity I even obtained insurance and he prepared the paperwork .. Shortly before the process was complete .. "Tony " informed me that there was a $30.00 increase in the monthly payments .. Because my credit was less than level 1 .. He knew this as soon as we sat down .. He took my info .. Said he ran the credit .. And assured me that based on the credit it was $299 a month .? He blatantly misrepresented the amount to induce me into the deal . When confronted he tried in vain to explain that " these things happen ". He is sorry " it's only a Mere $ 30.00 a month ... Then his manager appears and continues with the lies and excuses .. I refused to proceed .. Mainly because even with less than stellar credit .. I expect honesty and full disclosure when dealing with anyone especially a so called reputable car dealer. It's not the extra $30 which infuriated me , it was the blatant lying. The manager whose name escapes me was extremely rude and Condescending and had to be put in his place .. He eventually admitted that the sales rep should NOT have given me 100 percent guarantee that my monthly payment would be $299 but refused to honor the amount . Instead he tried to convince me to lease another cheaper car .. I declined his offer .. Again .. I dislike liars .. I will never visit this establishment again .. And advise anyone intending to do business with them to be very careful .. To me honesty is mandatory.

When visiting dealerships, you can often feel pressured into making a deal. At Plaza Honda, I felt no pressure or stress when looking at cars and requesting prices. Larry was very patient and went above and beyond to make me happy. When I got home there was even a voicemail on my phone from Larry checking to see that I made it home safe and that I liked the car. With her car we received it same day after dropping it off and with my car we received it next day. I didn't have an appointment but he still helped me anyway with no hesitation . He's overseen the service of my Pilot through the years while he was working at millennium, and it's his reliable honest guidance that has kept me coming back. Not to mention he is one of the nicest friendliest people I've come across through the years. A person like him must be such an asset to Honda. Probably the worst experience in my Life. Stay away from this dealer, I try to lease a 2016 Honda Civic, made a online credit application because I didn't want to waste time, I was pre-aproved, they charged me US$500.00 deposit just for summit my application, they made me call my Insurance Agent for the car insurance. They ask to my Agent to do the Insurance Policy for the car. The insurance Company charged me the amount for the Car Insurance. The car was ready for delivery and then they called me and told me that the credit application didn't go through because Im not a US Citizen or I don't have a Green Card. Im a Doctor under J1 visa Program. and after all this they still send me congratulations letter for my new car and letter from SiriusXM regarding my account for the Honda Civic. If they can't update account information accurately -- how can you trust them with such a large purchase?!?! Save yourself the trouble and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! At the end of this history I went to Chevrolet of Jersey City and got a very good deal on a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu and I was treated like a King.

I bought my Honda Accord from here in 2004. My car is great and runs well still. Back then the service was good and I always worked with Chris. Now the service, the drop off, everything a atrocious!! They overbook for car service, and you can never get hold of the person you worked with. I just went to have one tire replaced (with two children under the age of five), he said he had to see if it was in stock. I left the car and had to call THEM four hours later to inquire whether they had itin stock. They hadn't checked yet and he had my car would have to stay overnight? For one tire???? Then he called me back 15 minutes later to tell me that they did not have the tire. REALLY?! I picked up and car and went elsewhere. Please people to the same!

At first we went to Hillside Honda, but the salesman was very rude and kept on pushing us to buy the car when we were clearly uninterested in his deal. One of our friends recommded Plaza Honda and Mr. Hinds. What we found was a much better experience. On the day that my husband and I decided to do a walk through of the showroom, Larry approached us in a very friendly and laid back manner - which we appreciated. As we sat in multiple vehicles, he gave us our space to discuss amongst each other. Once we had more questions, he was readily available to walk us through the various trims of the CRV. He was detailed, patient, and offered real life examples to help us decide if a particular feature was right for us or how a feature would be beneficial for us. Larry followed up with us in about a week to see if we had any questions. We went back a few days later to meet with Larry to confirm pricing, availability of the car we wanted, etc. As first time new car buyers, this is the part of the process that we were the most worried about...having heard so many horror stories about buying a car from a dealer (not about Plaza Honda specifically). Our worries were dissolved immediately when we sat with Larry. We didn't negotiated like our lives depended on it. Larry was honest and frank about the pricing - I didn't have to ask to remove this fee or that fee, blah blah. While we waited to see Kevin, Larry was doing everything to make sure that after we met with Kevin we could just jump in our new ride and go. When we finally met with Kevin, it was a pleasant experience as well. We appreciated his candor and willingness to explain what we could expect from financing the vehicle. We didn't get the feeling that we were getting beat over the head. After a 15 minute discussion, we were out of there headed to our new car. As we admired our new ride, I noticed that there were some dirt marks on the upholstery (that sounds worse that it actually was but, hey, you're buying something new, right). I bought this to Larry's attention and without hesitation he said that we would go to the service department to get the interior cleaned up...and we did. Larry checked in with us soon after our purchase to see how things were going. We had nothing but good things to say.All in all, our experience and the customer service was exceptional! I hope Larry and Kevin are around when it's time for us to purchase our next car!

Bought aa brand new CR-V Touring about 10 months ago. At my first oil change they tried to get me for new Rotors, telling me they were worn. How could Rotors go before 5k miles and your first oil change. My second oil change was performed at Paragon Honda (Queens) instead where they confirmed my brakes and Rotors were fine. (and they are no angels either as they tried to get me for Alignment) . Don't trust this service department.

Brought in for service that was covered under Hondacare. It took 2 days for them to tell me that it was covered under Hondacare and after 2 additional days after I called them to ask if the service was done, only for them to tell me that the parts have not been ordered yet. After 5 days they contacted me to tell me to bring the car back in because parts are in. When I bring the car back in, it takes 2.5 hours for them to write up the car and get me a loaner. I call then next day to see if it is ready for pick up, they tell me no and to call back in 3 days. I call back in 3 days and they say they can't help because the service manager is out today. I cal the next day and the say its ready. I go to pick up the car and it takes over 1 hours for them to find the car.The amount of time wasted because of inadequate communication within the shop and to the customer. Complete waste of time. To top it off, every car is suppose to have a complimentary wash after service. Nope not mine, they forgot. Just like everything else.

It was time to return our 2013 leased Honda Civic.Having had a wonderful experience with our sales representative Larry Hinds 3 years ago, of course we returned to purchase our new car with him. We weren't sure if we wanted an Accord or another Civic and Larry spent a very long time with us going over the specs of each car answering every question that we had. We returned to test drive an Accord and then returned another day to test drive a Civic. Larry again very patiently listened to our concerns.We decided on the Civic and we are very happy with it. This is not my first car purchase, and I observed that the staff encountered at this dealership were initially very attentive and consistently friendly. However, there appeared to be too many demands on the sales person to handle multiple tasks while working with the customers resulting in me (the customer) spending unnecessary time waiting at the dealership. There were other customer's who expressed the same concerns, especially with a nearly 4 hours wait for the arrival of my new vehicle. Despite it all, I do recommend this dealership as I am confident that the necessary changes can be made to make for a better experience.

The financial manger Kevin Weeks did not inform me of the extended warranty charges on my contract. When I asked him about the extra charges, he was it was the interest of the finance. This is 'FRAUD" When I showed my daughter when I got home, she told me the financial manager added the charges on my contract. He did not disclosed the price of the warranty and didn't even mentioned I would get charge. The next day I called, no one was able to help. I will file a consumer report with Plaza Honda and tell all of my friends on facebook and other social media to never go to this place.

I want take this opportunity to say that I thank God for Kevin Thompson, Kerwin Glasgow and Kevin Weeks. They were excellent sales and finance consultants. Their actions were sincere and honorable. I bought my 2007 Mercedes Benz to trade in for a family vehicle. I was very concern that my two grandsons were not safe in such a small car and I needed more room for our large family. My sales consultant was Anthony Thompson who walked me through the display gallery to see what my options were and what would be best for my family. I then met Kerwin Glasgow and together with Anthony they took their time to explain all the benefits and options I had. I was mostly impressed that they did not try to rush or take advantage of me; I felt that they were sincere in providing me with the best customer service. I selected the Honda Pilot Elite and was apprehensive about the financing but Kevin Weeks, exemplify such professionalism by explaining in details the financing process and got me such a low interest rate that completely blew my mind!!My family and I drove out with a 2016 Honda Pilot Elite.Thank you Gentlemen you were all excellent!I also want to acknowledge Ramon Suero who patiently spent time with my son going over the features of the Honda Pilot Elite. Larry Hinds was referred to me by a friend. I walked in though still with trepidation and asked for him. Mr. Hinds was very professional, did not force anything on me. I wanted the CR-V but found that the 2016 was a little bigger than I wanted. Although the HR-V was not there in the showroom he suggested this and showed me all the features on the computer. I ordered the HR-V and was not disappointed when it arrived. Mr. Hinds is a very patient and professional sales person and I would recommend anyone to go see him when they have to get a vehicle.

Yes there was waiting involved, but never have I felt so at home in a place of business. Everyone was so pleasant and helpful. I made arrangements for an appointment to see the new Honda Fit with Melissa. I got the meeting day and time I asked for with no hesitation and in a cheerful manner. She met me at the door when I arrived and acted like an old friend had come to visit - asking me how I was feeling and telling me how glad she was to see me. She then introduced me to Peterson who was finishing up with another client and would be my salesman when he finished. He went and got me a cup of hot tea to make me comfortable while I waited. Then he showed me the cars that I was interested in which were in the showroom and very thoroughly explained the benefits of each car and the differences between them and the different prices as well. He was called to the manager's office to finish dealing with his previous client and Sammy took over. He was an excellent, gentlemanly, pleasant, knowledgeable salesman and took me through the rest of the sale, helping me get the car I wanted at a price within my budget and treating me like a well respected, important person. OK so last week I went into plaza Honda because I wanted to test drive a new 2016 Accord sport. The sales consultant I ran into was Malik. He told me to come back the next day because he does not have one for me to drive. They had 2 of them in the show room he could have pulled one out for me to test drive like Hyundai did. But the lazy factor kicked in or they are selling a lot of cars and just don't care. I went back the next day to test drive the car, I was happy and said lets crunch some numbers. I'm not going to go into too much detail but basically asked him to be honest with me about the deal. First I asked him if Honda was offering any type of deals to feel him out. He said no there's no deals, I said really you don't offer what Honda is advertising on their website. He's like thats only on the 15s. I already knew that was not true they were offering deals on 15s & 16s, so right from the start I had a bad taste in my mouth. He came back with a silly number the first time. I was like you have to do way better than that. Then he came back with a much better number. But it was still not where it should be, I told him I only need 10k miles a year he came back with 12K and said it would only be a $1 difference. I was like really are you sure, he again said yes. I was like OK fair enough. So I paid all the fees picked the color I wanted. He said I will have to wait till tomorrow to pick up the car. OK so that's good it let me sit down and go over the numbers. What I realized was Honda was offering the same residual value on 36 & 39 months 10K a year so the 10K would be no less than $6 no more the $10 a month less. I wrote him an email saying I was upset he was not truthful with me. He replied and said he was totally honest with me. I went to pick it up and confronted him about it and he told me he said a couple of dollars not $1. That's not true he told me $1 thats why when he original said it I was like are you sure, anyhow he's like we don't care about a couple of dollars. I said I know it doesn't matter to you but it sure does for me. He said I was making him feel uncomfortable I was like really youre the one making this difficult and uncomfortable. So we took a walk to grab some papers from the car. He called me and said he fixed the deal with what I wanted and in fact it was 39 months 10K was $6 less a month. I was finally happy, that's what I was trying to achieve from the start. I sign the papers & go out to turn my old lease in. I'm OK with him not showing us anything about the car. I'm not OK with him letting me drive away with no temp tag in the window very unprofessional. Now this big one the most depressing part of all of this. Why would you drill 2 xxxxx in the front bumper without asking me. I have bought multiple cars from plaza and other dealers never once has anybody ever done this. I live in PA I have one plate in the rear, I love the look of a car without a front plate. Now I have to put some ugly vanity plate & holder there. The main reason I took my time to write this is because I contacted Malik about this & my registration I left in my other car and he has not responded to me. Once again very unprofessional, take some lessons from Hyundai or Toyota. They did everything the opposite of you. Instead of Malik worrying about his bonus as he said, worry about being professional take that extra step like taping the temp tag to the window, or asking the customer if they would like you to show them things about the new car you just sold them. Or ask them if its OK to drill xxxxx in the front bumper even though they have no front tag to put on. Malik also asked if I would send people to him like family or friends, I said I would if he was strait up with me. Unfortunately he has not kept up with his end of the deal, he would rather ignore me. My brother & a friend of mine are interested in a new Honda after seeing mine. I will not be sending them your way. I'm not saying plaza Honda as a whole is bad I'm sure there are many great employees that pay attention to detail.

Purchasing a new vehicle can be a very complicated endeavor that leaves you hoping that you do not have to repeat for several years, or at can be pleasant and exhilarating. This is one of those that lie somewhere in-between. I would highly recommend if you plan to visit this dealership that you seek out my salesman Mr. Lawrence Hinds. Mr. Hinds is one of those rare salesmen who put the customer first, and takes pride in his work. It was a pleasure to work with him. The entire process took a few days, this primarily was due to the fact that I wanted to do a bit more research upon my initial visit. There were no high pressure sales tactics employed, and Mr. Hinds without my having to reveal the prices I had obtained from my research gave me what I felt was a very fair price for the vehicle I wanted. By the time I left the dealership I felt as though I had made a new friend. In addition there was a trade in involved, inadvertently items of a personal nature were left behind, Mr. Hinds secured the items on his own time although the vehicle had already gone to storage. I can't thank him enough. If I purchase another Honda I will definitely seek out Lawrence Hinds if he is still at Plaza

When I came in to get an oil change, they said it will take 1 hr to do so. After waiting for 2 hours, I came up to them to see if the car was ready. They said no, so I told them to forget about it, i will change it somewhere else. All of a sudden they told me that the car is ready and they will call me. No one called me even though I saw my car going in and out of Honda Service TWICE. NOW THREE HOURS HAS PASSED AND IM STILL AT HONDA SERVICE WAITING TO GET MY CAR. Never ever will I return to this place. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! The only reason i gave one star is because the oil was actually changed.

Since I had some time at the end of the summer, I visited just under 10 dealerships in 4 days. I saw almost every brand you can think of that could have done something for our price range. They also thought it was a good deal....and then beat it.Dexter is a real pleasure to work with. He's been doing this for years and you can tell. He'll tell you how it is and why. I don't know about you, but I like that about my dealerships. When the salesrep tells you straight up answers to your questions, it makes you feel comfortable and confident.The following day Dexter was off and while I waited for my car, one of the managers, Anna, called to assure me that the car was on the way and all is well. I herd about plaza auto driving to work at 5 am did an inquiry online and received prompt response from Datasia who was very friendly and willing to accommodate my busy schedule. Not only did she book me a spot to come see a car she texted and emailed me which was a plus. Her speedy reply to my inquiry is why I chose to to leave mount Vernon and pass maybe 10 Honda dealerships to get to plaza auto mall then upon my arrival she introduced me to Clarence who welcomed me and my wife and was very honest with us after running out credit and rather have us walk away cause all they was offering was a Honda Civic he worked extra hard with upper management to get me what I really wanted and then Jamal was excellent the finance guy. Even tho I was about to walk out his office he made some valid points and made me feel safe to buy new car. granted I was there so long they made me feel right at home minus the parking ticket I received that I will fight and blame plaza auto mall hoping it gets thrown out. Apparently I ended up with a newer sales person who was inflexible with pricing ,knowledge and basically everything involved in trading in a vehicle and buying a new one. Her name is Sherika. While my trade in was being appraised. I showed her on the Plaza Automall website which vehicle I wanted to purchase and for what amount. She then preceded to tell me those cars were all sold and I couldn't buy any of them except the floor model in the dealership. Why have cars listed as inventory on you're website that are already sold? I couldn't understand this concept. Because the Honda Pilot EX-L that I wanted to buy in dark cherry red was sold and removed from the website on 8/13/2015 the day before I went to the dealership, ( I went on 8/14/2015). But I decided on a similar model in the obsidian blue with an MSRP of 38,585. Now mind you it's about 9:40AM. In 40 minutes of the doors opening I highly doubt the 6 Pilot EX-L's listed on the internet as ready for sale, had been sold since I was the only one in the dealership looking at vehicles. Sherika then told me the only pilot EX-L was the floor model in the showroom. Which she went on the Plaza Automall website and still couldn't find it from its VIN#. So I said I don't really like the color but if you can knock off 1000 I'd take the car. Sherika then said she couldn't and the MSRP of 38,585 is the price I had to pay. I then showed her on the Internet they offered me through an email the price of 35,346 for the Honda Pilot EX-L. She then got up and got another female sales person to come talk to me. I gave this woman about 5 minutes of my time. She didn't introduce herself. Called herself a manager for Honda Automall but didn't offer a card. She stated she would honor the internet price but would lower my trade in value from 19,500 to 18,500 because of it. I said no. I then reiterated I didn't like the color of the Honda Pilot they wanted to sell me and to knock off 1,000 from the Internet price and we'd have a deal. She refused so I walked out. Told them both to have a good day and stated I'll go somewhere else that will honor their appraisal and knock off a 1,000 from the Internet price. I have an appointment with Hempstead Honda tomorrow to view the Honda Pilot EX-L that I want to purchase. And they said they would honor the price of what I offered them for 34,346. Shame Steven their number one salesman wasn't there he'd of countered my offer until we reached a reasonable price for both of us. This dealership needs to get knowledgeable sales people who understand how to make a sale. And not treat their potential customers like garbage. Amazingly Sherika and the other female sales Associate who claimed to be a manager aren't listed on the website as an employee. So their photos can't come up with this bad review .

On July 30th, 2015 my car battery died. Originally I thought it was the starter and contacted HondaCare. They immediately sent me a tow truck that took my car to Honda Plaza. I have a Honda Accord lX 2010. It is precertified and I have owned the car for about 2 years now. I explained that the battery should not have already been dead since its relatively a new car. It passed inspection by honda just 4 months ago. The sales guy who gave me the car explained that certified is like having a new car, parts are changed by Honda professionally before sold again. Rep at plaza honda preceded to tell me i was to pay $170. Now I thought this was unfair and required about the warranties I have. After hours of them checking and not getting back to me. I finally get through to the rep working on my car. He explains a 40-50% rule that took the price to $115. I agree to this price and make my way back to honda (stepping out of work early) to pick up my car. 2 min away from the dealership he calls me back to then tell me the warranty does not cover my car because it's the original battery and I am now paying $195 instead of the quoted $115 or the $170. He then proceeded to assure me that this was the best price I could get because on the streets it would be more. lol I checked and I could have gotten it for less than $100. My suggestion to Honda is to not guarantee or provide information that is not valid.

First off, I'm jaded when it comes to Brooklyn dealerships because of bad experiences in Bay Ridge in the past. Plaza Honda was excellent. Amira Khedr in sales, Peter in financing, and Phil in management were all pretty flexible with everything from my trade in value to a couple of extras thrown in.The only negative is my interest rate is higher than what I had in my Jeep (previously 1.9%) but supposedly none of their banks had promotions on my exact model Honda ( the CR-V AWD Touring) despite me being in their top tier credit wise.Nevertheless, the folks at Plaza have restored my faith a little as far as buying in Brooklyn..... And I'm loving the CR-V.

I just purchased my 3rd Honda Accord from Plaza Honda and this experience was by far the best. Mr. Hinds is so cool! He was not at all pushy and helped me along as I begrudgingly purchased a 2015 Accord EX-L V6 after my 2002 Accord was unexpectedly totaled. I had planned on keeping it for 4 more years before considering a new car, so I was not happy! We spoke several times via phone as well as stayed in contact as we worked out our transaction through daily emails and text messages. I visited the dealership twice alone and twice with my husband. Mr Hind's calm demeanor and professionalism made me feel like I was the only customer that mattered. First time I'm forces to write a review and it's a negative one. My parents brought an 8-months old Honda Pilot for service because it "died" in the middle of the road. First, the "advisor" by the name Colin (he's not listed here as an employee for some reason) was trying to rip them off by requiring them to pay $1,500 to fix the vehicle that is still under the manufacturer warranty. Of the bet, Colin was rude and condescending. A few days later, he changed the story and said the car can be fixed for no cost to my parents. The car was left at the dealership on June 11. Today, June 29, it is still not ready and every week, my parents are given a new date by which things will be fixed. Instead of a normal human explanation and customer service, Colin yelled at my parents and told them not to call again until he calls back himself. My father uses this car for work and cannot use any substitute car since it's a TLC job. It's been 2.5 weeks that he's been out of work because the dealership does not seem in a rush to fix the car and the representative is not trying to help in good faith, but is being rude and unprofessional instead. I am sorry, but we may have to resort to other measures since it seems that helpess consumers are being taken advantage of. It surprises us how the same dealership can receive 2-star reviews on Yelp and such amazing reviews here. It's beyind understanding how customer service at this location can be so anti-customer.

Larry is the best salesman at this dealership. He is an honest, humble and up to the point salesman. I admire these qualities. Most of the car salesman are incredible liars, hustlers and would just speak over your head to make a deal and grab their commission. That's not solely my opinion but most Americans think that way. However, after dealing with Larry, i came to believe that there are still a few good, honest car salesmen out there. Larry is the reason why we went back to the same dealership after another cocky salesman a week before felt insulted by our offer which was surprising because you give me an offer and i counter, there is nothing personal about that. The great reviews on this website about Larry speaks for themselves. Second, beware of the finance guys. They would rush you on paperwork and you'll be dumfounded with extra charges on bill of sales namely speaking Service Warranty and they might lie about the interest rate. Our interest rate was off about 0.4% from what the finance guy said and what the loan papers had. The sales manager did a U-turn on a deal of an accessory which only costs about a $100 each. Pretty cheap if you tell me when i am buying two cars almost worth 80k. The only reason this review gets four stars is bcz of Larry's services and dedication.

He was not pushing and always answered and called back whenever I had questions about the features about the car. He was well versed in all specs about the car I decided to buy, Honda Accord EX-L with navigation. Well it finally happened. I decided to lease a new car. After months of research on the Internet, dealers reviews and friends and family I ventured out. I arrived at Plaza Honda to look at the 2015 Honda Pilot. Expecting to be either assaulted or ignored by the salesperson I was pleasantly surprised. I was warmly greeted by Blake Allman. Blake was friendly and very informative on the Honda Pilot, pointing out the the numerous features and difference in trim levels. I left to continue my quest only to return a few days latter to do more follow up with Blake Allman. I was now ready to make a deal and with Blake's help I met with Jared Tinerino, Plaza Honda's sales manger.Together we discussed the terms and after a non-water boarding experience I decided on a 2015 Honda Pilot EX with accessories. Now it's my opinion that buying or leasing a new car is like going to Atlantic City, the house always wins, but at Plaza Honda with the help from Blake Allman and Jared Tinerino you feel like a winner. They were very professional and helpful. Blake even came in on his day off, picked me up at home to take me to the dealership, just to get my new Honda Pilot making sure it was perfect and I was satisfied. I had met Larry Hinds about six months ago when I walk into his dealership just to look around. He was polite and not pushy and when I told him I was not buying just looking, he still answered any question I had. I was sent coupons via Email from Honda . I had them on my iPhone I was refused the coupon value because they have to be printed. So if you don't own a printer , I guess you pay full price as far as .. I believe her name was ronkie or something very similar. I called twice but she didn't seem to want to hear it. I did eventually speak to a young lady that answered the main line who offered to print it for me . But after having called 3 times and spent 15 minutes on the phone I chose to go somewhere else. This is also after I went there to have a front and rear bumper guard put on but left after I stood there for 10 minutes while the workers cussed each other through the window on the right never asking if I needed help so I spent $500 getting it done on Queens blvd.. Meanwhile I live a few blocks from Honda. Bought my car this past March. I've heard these stories from friends but wanted to make my own judgement.. And I Have!!! Will not go there againDonna Orr

Came in using the Edmunds price match promise for a 2014 Honda Accord. Confirmed ALL applicable fees (most recent confirmation was yesterday) before i walked into the dealership. I was told when I arrive that I need to speak to Petra, who when asked for was "busy". I was directed to another sales rep and guess what? I am now told of a $690 prep fee that was NEVER DISCLOSED. $690 for a prep fee on a NEW vehicle? The salesman (Gregory) was rude and extremely unprofessional and did not even attempt to salvage the deal and frankly I am glad, as I would not want to do business with such individuals. Anyone willing to do business with this dealership should get EVERYTHING in writing before coming to the dealership, unless you want to be pressured into paying more than what the vehicle is worth.

Originally was dealing with Richard Garcia who was ok to deal with but the manager on the floor that day, Charles or Charlie whatever his name is was HORRIBLE! Richard bought in the manager to assist him which I wish he didnt because things would have worked out better but I was told by the "manager" I was "arrogant" because I knew what I wanted and it wasn't to lease a car but to finance one instead because that worked out better for me. As a "manager" he was VERY unprofessional and because of that he made Richard lose his commission because I ended up taking my business elsewhere! I had a great experience with Steve Shumel. He made the process quick and painless and I was able to get the car I wanted at a price that I thought was fair. After the original car I wanted wasn't available because of snow storms, Steve searched until he again found the color, make and model I wanted.Picking up my car was equally easy. I turned in my old car, had paper work processed and was being walked thru my new car and it's options in little more than an hour. What a bunch of lying, cheating, dishonest xxxxxxxx! My husband and I want to lease a Honda Civic. We each called, separately, for a quote over the phone. My husband spoke to Amira; I spoke with Myra. We both made it very clear that we want the final price over the phone, since my husband would have to take off from work to go down to the dealership and he wouldn't have time to haggle when he gets there. Both salespeople informed us that we can have the Civic for $125 a month with zero down and around $1400 in closing fees (tax upfront, bank, DMV fees) and NO ADDITIONAL CHARGES. We asked several times if there would be ANY kind of additional costs; we were assured that there wouldn't. My husband drove down there - it took him an hour just to get there with traffic - and was handed a document that listed charges totaling about $2200 in closing fees, NOT INCLUDING TAX as originally requested. The tax was to be rolled into the monthly payment, which would now be $136.05. Basically, they were adding on a thousand dollars in total to the price quoted! When my husband protested, the person he was dealing with, Malik Anwar, went to consult the manager and then came back to tell him that they cannot honor the original price. Not only did these people waste several hours of my husband's precious time, but they also cost us a great deal on another vehicle. We had an amazing offer on a different, fully loaded car from a reputable dealer whose services we previously used and were perfectly satisfied with. We rejected that offer in favor of the Civic from Plaza Auto. Now that deal is no longer available. So if you are considering leasing/buying from Plaza Auto because of a great quote that a salesperson gave you, save yourself the time and aggravation and look elsewhere, because you can be certain that regardless of the assurances they give you, you will not end up paying the amount you were quoted at Plaza Auto.

I was greeted by friendly service and salesmen who were not pushy, but rather respectful. I sat down with a finance manager and negotiated the price I desired. I first do not understand why plaza honda is ranked as high as it is. I tried three times to lease a 2013 accord coupe lxs and was treated badly each single time. I've dealt with Steve Shumel twice and he was rude and unprofessional both times. He complained each time about how little commission he was making off the deal, telling me the exact number he was making off the deal. He does not hand you paper work, he tosses it at you. He offered me an option of colors and I selected a blue color and came to a deal for the car I wanted. He even sent me to the storage yard to view the car. He did not ask me for any money down because I believe he never wanted to lease me the car in that color for the price I negotiated and planed a bait n switch. I was planning on coming back to the dealership that same day to finalize the deal when he called me and told me there was a "recall" on that particular vehicle with the vin#. He gave me the run around telling me they had to send the car in for service to see if it was fixible by the dealership. This sounded funny so I called up the honda company and gave them the vin# to check about any recalls. They had no record of that car havng a recall like I assumed. He then offered me another car in a different color which i was not happy with. I asked to speak to a sales manager and they wouldnt put him on the phone. They called me back and gave me the run arround telling me the vehicle was just "unavailable". I left a message to speak to a sales manager and didnt receive a call back till five days later which ruined another possible deal i had in place. A sales manager called to apologize only after I threatened to write a letter to the General Manager. If you plan on going to this dealership and expect #1 service think again, this dealership is just like other bait n switch dealers. P.S they do not offer you good money for trade in's they nickel and dime you

My experience with Plaza Honda was very good. The employee's were very friendly, informative, and helpful to myself and my husband. Adrian M. was great how he explained all the in and out's of the car, to make our usage of the car easier. I would definetly recommend Plaza Honda to friends and family.

After visiting several other dealerships in Brooklyn, and being very disappointed, My wife and I decided to try Plaza. Everyone there was very pleasant and helpful. We discussed what I liked and wanted to spend. They got me the car I was looking for, gave me a fair price for my trade-in and made my first leasing experience a very pleasant one. I have already recommended Plaza to my friends who asked where I got my car.

Back where I belong...Plaza Automall! I was forced to buy my previous vehicle from another establishment because Plaza did not have what I wanted in the time frame required. Bad decision. Should have just waited. When it was time to trade that vehicle, I returned to Plaza where I purchased 2 prior vehicles. Larry Hinds was such a pleasure to do business with! He was very patient and knowledgeable. Most of all NOT PUSHY. He gladly appraised the trade in vehicle and was able to offer a more than fair trade in value. Any issues or concerns were addressed immediately and timely. At the time of delivery, Papa was able to answer any last minute questions. I got excellent service from Plaza Honda. My son who loves cars did an on line search to find this car. I had specific ideas, the cost must not be more than 30 K, the space inside should accommodate tall people,we should seat 5 persons comfortably, and it should have a safe car rating. He chose the Accord because it met those specs. When it came to financing, I had secured a loan from my credit union, but because I no longer drive, I could not finalize that loan. I was really surprised that I was able to get a comparable loan from Honda itself. We were able to complete all the paper work and delivery of the car in one day. All the persons who helped us Sherika, Heather, the finance manager were terrific, and made us feel welcome at Honda. We hope to have good Honda experiences in the years ahead.

Mr. Hinds went to great length to convince me to lease from Honda again. I was kind of disappointed with my previously leased Honda CRV LX due to some brake issues, no perks such as free oil change, etc. I had no intentions of leasing another Honda vehicle; however, Mr. Hinds was persuasive in convincing me to do so. After the vehicle arrived, he went into great details with the features. Overall, Mr. Hinds provided excellent customer service.

I was planning on just shopping when I first went to Plaza Honda and I really did not expect to make a purchase. I really just wanted to look, maybe take a test drive. I looked at a few cars and then Larry car by. He asked if I needed some help. When I said no, I just want to look first and if I had any questions I would asks for help (my usual leave me alone salesperson, I'm just looking remark). Larry just took it in stride and said "If you have any question just ask, my desk in the back over there, no pressure". Perfect now I feel like I'm not wasting anyones time and I can trust this guy, he seems like he likes a win, win, situation. Which is just what I got, I love my new Civic. While I would have settled for the silver more conservative looking model, I needed this car(black and sexy) and Larry really helped make it possible. I think I'm happy already to be part of the "Honda Family" and this is only my 23rd mile. This was one of my top ten experiences this year. Any stereotypes one usually associates with a car salesman absolutely do NOT apply to Mr. Hinds. Larry Hinds was patient, professional, helpful and extremely detailed. He made the sales experience a smooth and successful one. I originally went in wanting the Honda Fit but after meeting with Mr. Hinds and seeing the cars in person I fell in love with the Civic. Mr. Hinds worked with me to make sure that it was a solid decision. I never felt pressured only relieved that I was getting a great car at an affordable rate. I would and have already recommended Mr. Hinds to anyone in the market for a car. He's simply the best!

Mr. Hinds went above & beyond. Knowledgeable, patient, very competent. Took the time to explain the high tech features of Crosstour. Programmed my cell phone and wife's cell phone into Bluetooth. I Never could have done this myself. Called me to make sure I got home alright. I am recommending Lawrence to my son who is in the market for a Honda Pilot.

Mr. Hinds is a true gentleman. He is very perceptive and helpful. He has great interpersonal skills and has mastered his customer service craft. I would do business with this dealership again because of him. However, as with all dealerships, you must know what you are getting into. Do not let the finance employees swindle you into anything. I made the mistake of signing hastily and had a very upsetting epiphany. However, I must admit they were able to assist me and rectify the situation as best as a dealership can. No matter how nice and courteous they were, the bottom line is, this is a for profit organization and making the sale is of priority. Of course you can't blame them; again just be an educated consumer.

I went into the dealership knowing exactly what I wanted and how much I wanted to pay. They met my price and there were very little negotiations. The bad part was waiting for my vehicle to arrive from their storage facility. I was told around 2:30pm it would be here at/around 6pm. I didn't have anywhere to go or transportation so I figured I would just wait until 6pm. As 6pm approached, the time was pushed back to 7pm. They gave me some cash for dinner since I had been there since 1pm. My car eventually came at 9pm! It took about 30mins to do paperwork, wait for inspection, etc. The dealership was closing as my car arrived on the truck. I understand this was out of their control, but I would have liked to been updated a little bit more. I could have went home instead of waiting for 7 hours. That was the WORST part. I came back a few days later to get some wheel locks installed and it was quick and painless.

Shockingly, I went to Plaza Honda to purchase my new Honda instead of another unnamed Honda dealership and I was pleasantly happy with my sales person, finance guy and insurance broker. Granted, I spent the whole day there and had to go back numerous times for follow up installments; I have no complaints. I was taking care of very well, especially from Mr. Hinds.

I received extremely professional, informative and courteous service and advice from Mr. Hinds, who was very instrumental in me deciding to purchase a Honda Accord over the other makes that I was considering. When I decided to purchase a new vehicle, I visited several dealerships. Larry Hinds, a salesman, at Plaza Honda introduced himself. Not only was he able to answer all my questions, but he had lots of patience, was extremely polite and I didn't feel pressured at all. He helped me decide which car was best suited for me. I have leased approximately 7 or 8 Honda's from this dealership {Odyssey & Accord}. Every time I visit, I am assigned a knowledgable salesperson who is able to find the vehicle we are looking for (color/features/etc.) Any time there is an issue, Harry Potamianos (manager) is able to solve it in a most professional manner. Many times he is able to get most fees waived/reduced in regard to vehicle coming off of lease. We are made to feel as important customers when visiting Plaza Honda. Was negotiating for a new 2013 Honda CRV purely on price. Sent my asking price out to many dealers in the tri-state area, and the quickest and most straight forward responses came from Harry at Plaza Honda. Quick phone and e-mail communication led to the configuration and sale of a car with some custom options in 3 days. Once the pricing was agreed upon, Steve helped process the paperwork at the dealership and had me in and out of the dealership in just over 2 hours with the car I negotiated at the price I negotiated.

well going to plaza Honda was my first experience and going to a dealer and getting a new car and not only that but by being nervous and hearing all those things on the TV don't pay to much for anything but going there was the best experience i ever had. they were very kind and understanding it being a first time to people there had a friendly environment and make you feel like you were part of the team along the way. especially Harry Potamianos. He single handed made everything possible showed us he car found us a beautiful price and was straight up with us. They also let me charge my phone there while everything was taking place so i would have a full battery driving home. they showed me the car and they were on there "A"game the whole time. I Gave them a 5 in Great Service and it is a shame that they wouldn't let me give them a 10 i know any other cars i get from down there will be from Honda just because of how friendly there are. So thank you Honda Harry you gave my family the car of there dream a safe reliable car so we wont be in fear of breaking down.

Dealer had a higher price than other dealerships for the same exact car with identical options. Had to give dealer lowest price offered to me. Dexter matched the price as if he was doing me a favor. Please note, this was our 2nd 2013 Accord purchased since the 2013's have been on the market. We purchased our fully loaded EX-L at another dealership which gave us the best price along with customer satisfaction both before and after the sales. When we came to pick up the car, the cashier's check amount was over and the price of the wheel locks was over-inflated. They said they were going to refund us the difference, but it took way over a month to obtain this refund. I had to threaten to call Honda USA Corp to complain before getting Dexter's manager, Harry on the phone. Dexter lacks customer service and does that understand the meaning of what a true car sales entails. It's just not about selling a car and treating the customers as just another statistic to add to your profile for the month/quarter. It's much more and there is a lot to can be learned. I would try another dealership before inquiring with this one. If price is all that matters, and not the relationship that builds afterwards, then go for it.

I was in the market for my first vehicle. I knew Plaza Honda from many happy customers in my neighborhood, as well as my family. I was fairly familiar with the price of the vehicle and types of vehicles available. I went in knowing a lot of information, but still Steve Shumel was able to teach me a lot about the vehicle that I did not know. Kevin Weekes shared important financial advice and information that helped me choose to lease my vehicle. Harry Potamianos, the General Sales Manager of the store, was incredibly helpful. He was able to give me the best price based on the available programs from American Honda. I thought I was in the market for a Civic LX but Harry was able to get me a better deal on the leftover 2012 EX which has more options for LESS money! I was extremely satisfied with all of the personal attention and customer service all of these employees provided. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone and everyone. Other than my personal experience, the dealership as a whole was extremely welcoming. There are over 40 vehicles in the showroom (yes I counted because I couldn't believe the size) in every color imaginable and every trim level possible, which really help when deciding what you want. The entire facility was spotless. And every staff member I encountered was extremely polite and helpful. Many times when I was awaiting paperwork to sign, employees asked if I needed help with anything. I appreciate the attention and how helpful the employees are. Also, the paperwork process couldn't have been easier. All in all, buying a car at Plaza Honda was the smartest financial decision I've made. I am very happy with my purchase and recommend Plaza Honda to everyone.

We immediately felt very welcomed at Plaza Honda. At first we just looked around and felt no pressure at all. After a short while Lawrence Hinds asked if he could be of assistance. He answered our questions and we felt very at ease with him. Lawrence happily let us test drive a 2013 Civic and was very thorough in explaining it's many features. We talked about a lease, and then he called over his manager, Adrian Sylvester, who was very attentive to our needs. We weren't quite ready to make a decision but we left with a good feeling about our experience. Over the next couple of weeks Lawrence kept in touch with us. We returned and met with both Lawrence and Adrian again and finalized the deal . When we came to pick up our car, Lawrence spent a lot of time with us making sure we were comfortable with our new car. He introduced us to Charles Giardinello in Finance, who was very efficient as well as pleasant. We are grateful to Lawrence, Adrian and Charles for the caring way they treated us. Now we have our new 2013 Civic to enjoy!

After Hurricane Sandy, like many of my friends and neighbors, I was left without a car. I went to Plaza Honda based on a friends recommendation. The entire process was fairly easy and painless, considering I was not really prepared for making such a big commitment so quickly after the storm. But I needed a car ASAP and I got what I wanted, when I wanted it. The staff was helpful and friendly and understood many of my concerns. I was pleased to work with Lawrence. He made the process go smoothly and was available in and out of the office for any questions I had. I felt supported throughout my decision and this was important at such a difficult and stressful time. I would definitely purchase a car from this dealer again in the future.

On the 10th of September 2012 i walked into the toyota and honda dealership as the owner of an old beat up honda odyessey. I ended up driving out as a proud owner of a brand new 2012 toyota venza all thanks in part to Carey and Wilky. They thoroughly helped me thru the entire purchasing process and provided complete comfort in aid to my ultimate decision to get the new car without hassle even though they deal with honda vehicles mainly and toyota secondarily. I would definitely recommend Erick as a sales person. He went out of his way to make sure I got my dream car. Even after the sales was finalized. He would call me to make sure I was happy with my purchase and how else he could continue to help. Now that's what I call customer care. Mr. Johnny Yuk Hei Lee is a very patient and knowledgeable salesperson. We visited a few car dealers before coming to Plaza Automall. Mr. Lee and his manager offered us the lowest price. They did not ask one word about other car dealers' offers. Mr. Lee and his manager are both very professional. We are very happy duriing the entire transaction and would recommend our friends to them. WE tested drive the car yesterday and we got our car today. I can't say enough nice things about the high level of service and attention that I received from Eric Hickman, at Plaza Honda . I went to plaza to look at the Honda Accords - I had been looking for a new CAR for a year . I met Eric and he immediately understood what I was looking for. A few minutes latter we were sitting down searching for a car. The entire process took a few hours cause of my Credit situation and the end result exceeded all of my expectations. ATTENTION! CROOKS OPERATING AT THIS DEALERSHIP! I brought my car for service here for the first time as it was still under warranty. After I picked it up, there were some valuables missing from car like my gps, itouch, chain, laptop and beklin usb cable. After I called them and explained the situation, there is nothing they are doing to resolve this issue. It took me few day to even talk to the manager there. The lack of customer service accompanied with the rudeness made me regret getting a Honda. Honda Plaza SUCKS! Take your car elsewhere, you cannot trust these people. I know this won't help my situation, but I hope that all you Honda owners out there are warned and won't have to go through what I went through!
