Called dealership 2 hours before driving out from MD to look at a used car. When we arrived, car was not at dealership but at a storage lot. If we wanted to look at it, would have to wait at least another 20 minutes for the car to arrive. No thanks. Incredibly unprofessional.

I initially came for a second oil change on my 2015 GMC 2WE Yukon SLE custom with 22 inch black rims, aftermarket leather, Denali grill and a few other perks that I purchased from Schumacher Chevrolet/GMC/Buick in Northlake in West Palm Beach Florida, June 14,2015. Though I really liked that SUV I really wanted to get back into a 4WD even if it meant getting a used Tahoe or Yukon or a new or used crew cab Silverado. Previous folks I talked to via phone in West Palm Beach, Schumacher Chevrolet in Clifton, N.J. and Maquire GMC in Little Falls New Jersey all said I was too upside down and that it could not be done without perhaps 20k or more out of pocket. I was referred to Tanya. She very confidently assured me that she can get it done and that they have something that I might be interested in. Of course I was skeptical thinking she was going to waste hours of time with some sales pitch.She came through with the help of Mike and Terry Long with a deal. Though I did not want to put no more than 3k down, I put 5k down and got the payments the same as my Yukon and into anew 2016 Silverado 1500 LT A71 4x4 pick up truck. Though I will miss those 22" black rims I am so glad to be back into a 4WD especially living and working back and forth between N.J. and Chantilly, VA.I was teased by that Silverado LTZ Z71 with the black rims in the show room and may later switch to 20-22 inch wheels with black rims, but for now I am very excited with my first pick up truck.Timing was just right for that rebate and I was about ready for a pick up truck only with crew cab. Had already had a 1999 MB 320, a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer LTZ, a 2004 Chevy Tahoe LS, (purchased at the now closed Lynne Chevrolet in Kearny ,N.J.), a 2008 Chevy Tahoe LTZ purchased from Pohanka February 2008 and a MB GL 450 2011 purchased from MB Chantilly, and then that custom Yukon, so now it was time for a luxury like pick up truck..Kudos to Tanya, Terry and Mike. Tanya White-Deyo was very helpful as I wanted to order the new 2016 Camaro to get the color and all of the features I wanted. After my test drive, I appreciated that Tanya kept in touch with me but did not pressure me to purchase a car off the lot and let me take my time to place my order. She worked through determining all of the specs with me, placing the order, and did an excellent job keeping me posted on the status of my car until it arrived for my pick-up. She was helpful with getting my phone paired and basic set-up and took care of my requests for additional accessories, keys, and more. Overall it was a great new car purchase experience!

My experience with Tanya White-Deyo and Andrew was by far the best experience I ever had at a car dealership. Both salespeople were very informed and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. my husband had a silver do and I wanted to get it appraised so I can get a new suburban. I didn't think we would get much to cover our loan and didn't think we would qualify for a 2016 suburban. We just went to get an estimate to see where we stand and what we needed to do in the next couple months so we can get the car we wanted. Tanya came up to us and I explained to her what we wanted to do. They took the car and we filled out one form to see where we stand with our credit. While they were doing th'e appraisal, I told Tanya what kind of car I wanted and the two colors I wanted. Tanya took my form to the manager and they pulled our credit, 10 minutes later she brought keys to us and said I found something that will fit what you want. It was a 2016 suburban, I test drove it and fell in love. She asked me how I liked it and I told her I loved it, we went Back to the dealership and 30 minutes later she came with an offer and our monthly payment options.. They gave a good appraisal and with the rebates it covered what I owed on the truck. The payment options were high but we agreed to the lowest option. Awe waited 45 minutes to sign our financial agreement with the finance manager, Tanya played with my 3 kids because they were getting restless and they enjoyed playing with her. She stayed with them when we got called into the office And we met our financial manager who was very nice. He told us sorry for the wait, he was on the phone with the bank to get us a good rate. We went over the payments and he definitely surprised us with a lower interest rate which resulted to a lower monthly payment. He was very quick and he reach our expectation as a finance manager. We will definitely refer more people to them

I couldnt be anymore satisfied with this Dealership. In 24 hours Pohanka Chevrolet was able to diagnosis and fix the problem with my 2012 Malibu that Manassas Chevrolet couldn't in 45 days. Pohanka Chevrolet is honest, meticulous, and has the BEST customer service that I have ever seen for a Service Center in any industry! I will now drive past the Manassas Dealership (1.5 miles away) to take my vehicle to Pohanka Chevrolet of Chantilly for service or repairs.

I bought my New Chevy Cruze about a month ago now, the experience was amazing I didn't think I would get approved with my credit and that, but the team and GM there were amazing! They didn't make me feel embarassed, but rather treated me like I was human and they understood. I am writing a review today because I locked my keys in my car(which happens a lot) and I called OnStar with the advice of my salesperson after calling them frantically- and not even 5 minutes later my doors were unlocked for free(since I am still in my free trial period)! I will be renewing with Onstar and will forever be a client of Pohanka Chevrolet, they are still great with me even after I bought their car!

My wife needed a new Headlamp on her truck. Pohanka wanted $360 just the part. That doesn't include labor. I did some searching and I found the same headlamps, brand new, from multiple vendors, for $75 a piece. Its sad but you can't trust dealerships at all.

I would like to say all went well, but the fact is I have been treated very poorly. Two years ago I purchased a 2010 Equinox from Pohanka. I had a letter of credit from my credit union but Pohanka told me they could get me a better rate. What they didn't tell me was they would run my credit repeatedly and in fact they could not beat the rate I already had. But that is not my issue here. My issue here is that I sold them back the car and now I can't get paid. I have never had such frustration dealing with a car dealership- and that is saying something. It has been 9 days, they had the title with the car, and all I get is a run around as to when I will be paid, why I haven't been paid, etc., etc., etc. They have my car. They have my title. I have no money from them. I am being treated so poorly that my family has decided to never purchase a car from any Pohanka dealership again- and we have purchased over 12 cars including more than 10 from their Lexus dealership. If you had a good experience than I am happy for you. Unfortunately, dealing with Pohanka has been a nightmare- again. Sorry, but in my game it is 2 strikes and you're out. I'll never purchase a car from them again.

I purchased a car from this dealer and I left the dealership feeling good about my purchase, my experience and most importantly myself. I've never experienced this type of service before. I was determined to make a purchase and they made it so easy for me. The vehicle was even lower than the blue book value. I purchased from Steven Rodriguez and I will definitely return for another pain free buy.

I had a very simple request for the service department at Pohanka Chevrolet, for them to change my oil and filter on my 2007 Silverado extended cab with an oil and filter that I provided. Both the oil and filter were on the passenger seat. After arriving home and getting under the truck, I noticed that they didnt use the oil filter I provided, which means they obviously didnt use the oil I provided. I returned to the dealership immediately and asked the service technician to go and fetch the oil and filter from the mechanic who worked on my truck, which he did. The mechanic had obviously tried to steal my oil and filter, both of which were premium grade. Avoid this dealership if you need to bring your Chevrolet vehicle in for service. This was both the first and last time I will ever use Pohanka Chevrolet for service. It would be a gigantic coincidence if they were caught the first time they had attempted to scam a customer, and if they are willing to do it for oil and a filter, I can't imagine bringing my truck in for service for something substantial. If you do get your vehicle serviced here make sure that the services you paid for were actually performed, but take my advice and avoid them altogether.

I began searching for a pickup truck in October of 2013 and had made an online inquiry by mistake to pohanka Chevrolet. An associate Doug was relentless so finally I went in. I was not prepared to buy that day but Doug knew I wanted a specific truck and did not stop trying until he found the right truck and got me the best possible price. Dan was the sales manager that I dealt with and it was a pleasure dealing with him. Dan made the deal and the overall buying experience a memorable one. Any misconceptions about shady car salesmen or car sales manager would not be the case here. I asked him straight questions and I got straight answers. Dan is truly good at what he does and pohanka Chevrolet is lucky to have him. There was not a time when I felt like I was being handled. Since then I have been back to pohanka to buy two more Chevys because of Dan the sales manager and the finance team. If you are looking for a chevy go to pohanka Chevrolet in chantilly they will make you a good honest deal.

Let me start off with DO NOT BUY / SERVICE A VEHICLE HERE. I have been in a battle with GM for months now. I purchased a lemon from Pohanka Chevrolet and they WILL NOT stand by their vehicle (2014 Silverado). The 2014/2015 Silverados are plagued with problems and recalls. If you buy one you are putting YOUR FAMILY, YOURSELF and the PUBLIC at risk. I will try and update this with information as it happens so you all know how serious this really is. This is not a joke nor should it be taken lightly. The vehicle will engage into 4WD while driving at highway speeds as well as slow speeds. While driving straight and while turning. They keep telling me they have fixed it, but I have gone back multiple times now.The service manager Jeff D told me to keep a mental note of when the problem occurs. He is a coward whom would not even meet with me. I have contacted the BBB and GM told me they will give me a replacement vehicle, but will not buy my vehicle back. This replacement means I have to pay$$$ for multiple aspects.

Simply outstanding! I was searching for a 2015 Corvette Stingray and Clark Sharp was extremely knowledgeable of the vehicle and he showed the vehicle quite impressively. He is a real asset to corvette sales for sure. He answered all of my questions right there in the lot, explained what I was feeling as I drove the vehicle, and answered questions I had when I went home. When I decided to come back to make an offer, Clark and Glen got me an outstanding price under MSRP which is simply unheard of on a 2015 Corvette Stingray!!! I have purchased many vehicles but this one was hands-down the best experience I have ever had at a dealership. I would highly recommend this dealer to anyone searching for their next vehicle....that just goes without saying.

I have purchased many many vehicles, over 60 of them, not counting motorcycles. The people and the management at Pohanka were an absolute pleasure to deal with. They went out of their way to do the deal, to find me the right car, providing me with all the data I requested, and no pressure. Other dealers were a bit less forthcoming to say the least. I do enjoy the bargaining process and they did accommodate me. I let them know that up front. The give and take was good and fun if you understand the bottom line rules. They are in business and they have to make money. Anything else is wide open if you want to play that way. Their prices are fair and honest no matter which way you want to do the deal. Buying a car from Pohanka Chevrolet was one of the most easiest and pleasant experiences my wife and I have had in the past 20 years. We would strongly recommend friends and family members purchase their next motor vehicle from Pohanka Chevrolet. The GM Adam and the Internet Sales Rep Daniel were excellent low pressure gentlemen with whom I'd be happy to again deal. Aiman our salesman was equally impressive! After mentioning to Daniel that I did not have transportation to the Dealership, Aiman came to our residence and picked up my wife and I and took us to the Showroom. He also answered every single question we had regarding the car and even assisted us with getting On-Star services activated. Hands down, Pohanka Chevrolet of Chantilly Virginia is the best Dealership on the Eastern Seaboard and may well be the best in the U.S. The most important factor is that we saved a lot of money and love our new car!

I have been driving for 40 years I know enough to understand when the front rotors are warped. Dealership had the manager of the service department drive the car, he said it has a slight wobble however when we got back from the drive he told the general manager he thought it was in an acceptable range. This condition only got worse. This weekend I had to get front rotors and brakes. Although these guys was friendly I felt this was all for the sale. Certainly they didn't want to have anything to do with me afterwards. I willl not recommend anyone to this dealership and will not use them for servicing my car. I have in the past but if you cannot tell if a car is in need of rotors I don't need you.

I experienced a scary ordeal with my Chevy Cobalt. The power steering went out whilst driving. To make the long story short, Adam Berman went above and beyond to make sure that I was put into a new car in less than 24 hours. His customer service, caring spirit, and genuine concern for my safety made me feel valued. If I had 10,000 tongues, I couldn't thank him enough. I cry tears of joy when I think of how good Pohanka and Adam were to me. John, Terry, Mr. Crabtree, and Dawn were all instrumental in my car purchase. In the words of the late Maya Angelou, "...people will never forgot how you made them feel". I can honestly say that I felt valued and cared about. When I look back at my first car buying experience, the dealership didn't give a rat's butt about me, but Pohanka did and that means the world to me. It's more than just a car purchase. Pohanka, along with Adam Berman and the others, SAVED MY LIFE!!!! They refused to let me step foot back into that Cobalt and run the risk of another power steering malfunction. I took my Spark 2013 for a recall service to Chevrolet Pohanka after it was not provided at Chevrolet Manassas. I had to go to Chevrolet Pohanka twice because they did not have the spare parts. But service assistant Chad Travis Jenkins told me he would take care of the problem and would call me in less than 24 hours. He did and I had the problem fixed the following day. He should be commended on his promptness and courtesy.

I've had two experiences with the service department since purchasing a new vehicle there. So far everyone I've interacted with has been very professional, friendly, accommodating and competent. I appreciate the service departments weekend operating hours. The waiting facility is well maintained. I'm not sure who the service manager is but I'd like to express my appreciation for his help on Sunday. 60 K service price was much higher than expected for the amount of work done. Wait time was longer than expected. However, I was very happy after I was told that I could hold off on a brake job that I didn't need. I felt sure that dealers try to get every penny they can, when they can. This was not the case on this day. Good job. I'll be back. P.S. Lower your services charges and you will get more customers and more work. When it was discovered that the repairs would take longer than expected I was immediately provided a loaner with hesitation.

I have a 2007 Corvette Z06 Ron Fellows Edition. I am always worried above service. Done right, scratches, joy rides, burned up tires and clutch. While I am unable to say 100% all is perfect, the tech writer Adam did his best to relieve my stress. And the report by the mechanic was thorough and the work seemed well done. At this time I am hopeful I have found a quality shop capable and handling my special to me Chevy.

We brought the vehicle in for service to have a key fob programmed. Once they wrote it up the vehicle, they realized it had a warranty recall and they wanted to take care of it. We said fine, but stated we were pressed for time and asked how long it would take. They said about an hour. That was NOT the case. We had to get a rental car in order to get to where we needed to be on time. Pohanka paid for the rental, but the estimated time to do the recall repair was sadly understated. Troy was great however and took care of us with the rental, etc.

It was pleasant, yet I wish the dealership was able to fix my Clock/Time Zone on the dashboard by replacing a simple microchip instead of telling me I have no option but to replace the whole unit for over $2500! Why should I pay that much for an electronic malfunction that came with my vehicle when I purchased it in 2011? I love my car and I'm sad to see the dealership incapable to fix the simple error ... I just can't afford spending $2500 for a manufacturing error, and not in my control :(

I was VERY enthusiastic after speaking with Troy upon arrival and in the quick turn around time. I am very leary in general of service departments having been mistreated on numerous occasions at other dealerships. This was the first time I have ventured away from Carmax where I purchased the truck and tried Pohanka even though you are much closer and more convenient. What I'm unhappy with was my experience with the cashier. She was nice enough, but she didn't seem to understand the service invoice and was seemingly confused most of the checkout process. A few hours after leaving your dealership she called me to tell me she hadn't charged me enough and wanted my card number to charge an additional amount over the phone. She was unable to adequately explain why the incorrect amount had been charged and when pressed I asked the service manager to call my husband to clear up any misunderstanding. Two days later your dealership called me asking for additional payment but unable to explain why. Again I asked them to contact my husband, which no one has done. If I genuinely owe an additional amount, I am more than willing to remit payment however I am very uncomfortable with the way in which this has been handled. I feel as though your service department has either not been honest or is taking advantage of my lack of knowledge. I am utterly disappointed as I had hoped to come to you for service moving forward.

I went in, to have maintenance performed on my car. The service technician understood what needed to be done. A little later he came to me to tell me they found the problem, but the parts were not in stock. He would order the part and have the part by the following week's end. As promised, we received the call. I was able to have the part and my safety inspection performed on my schedule. I had the same technician, he remember me (big plus),and. The car was fixed for the two problems but I wasn't happy about all the grease the was on the carpet, floor mat (carpet) and side panel of the drives side. I pointed it out to the Service Advisor and it was cleaned up, I had to wait an extra 45 minutes for the cleaning. A mistake that should have happened.Plus the mileage for "in/out" was incorrect on the invoice. The correct mileage was 97,780 not 97,012. I also pointed that out to the Service Advisor and he could only make a hand adjustment on my copy to 97,780. Couldn't reprint the invoice. That could affect the 12,000 warranty by eating up 768 miles before I left.

I came in for a routine oil change, however went ahead and had 10,000 mile service done after being offered by service adviser. I used a coupon that was mailed to me in a flyer (thank you). The work was done in a timely manner. I inspected my vehicle afterwards for missing parts, I found nothing missing. Missing parts has been a problem with me in the past at another dealership and that made my decision to come to Pohanka a tough one.

I had to come back twice for my check engine light. It was taken care of for one problem and then the light came on again the next day for a separate issue. From my first interaction on the phone with Lindsey, she displayed a professionalism, demeanor, and obvious attitude that she wanted to help, was anxious to help, and would do anything she could to help. Being a business owner, this is the kind of employee we all are looking for, but is so difficult to find. On my arrival, within 10 minutes of my arrival, my car was in the back and being worked on. The problem was found, and completely fixed....it was quick, it was professional, and it was fixed correctly. I will definitely be coming back to this dealership. We tend to trade in and buy new cars every 2-3 years, and I will be giving this dealership the first opportunity for a sale when buying a new car or truck in the future. Been taking cars to Pohanka Lexus for service for yeArs. Dealer we bought the 2500 from does not do em missions inspections so thought of pohanka. Service was every bit as professional quick and high quality as we have come to expect from our car experience with pohanka. Clearly a world class culture across the whole corporation. I had the 60,000 mile service done on January 4. On this recent service, to repair my rear window defroster (on Feb 7), they discovered my battery was leaking and needed replacing, and the cables needed cleaning. This should have been discovered during the 60,000 service. I rely on the service department to notice such matters, the battery being a rather basic item.

I had a transmission problem right after work by AAMCO. Your guys didn't want to get involved but offered to install a rebuilt unit at a fair price for N. Va. So I took the car to a specialist on the 4L60E in North Carolina, who wrote an estimate. AAMCO claimed I had bad motor mounts.

Clark was simply great to work with. It was a little easier because I was a buyer who knew what I wanted. The great thing about dealing with Clark is that he went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction and didn't push but provided additional details as needed while I worked through my decision. Even though I knew what I wanted, the deal itself was at my pace, my comfort level, and when I was ready. Clark easily answered all my questions, was very personable, and above all, NOT pushy!! :) Clark was excellent in staying in touch. When I had questions his response time was highly acceptable. It was just a great experience, I hadn't bought a vehicle or even test drove one since 2006 and I couldn't have picked a better place to do business!

I was pleased with the work, but the only problem was that it took about 5 hours to complete my work. maybe the solution would have been to offer me a loaner car until the seat problem could be figured out. Other than that, everything was fine.

I am always greeted with a smile and a "how may we help you". The requested work is completed in a timely manner and any recommended items are always left up to me to make the final decision. I receive good advice as to what should be done immediately and what is okay to put off for a few days. I feel comfortable at Pohanka service department. I appreciate the free WIFI but I missed the hot chocolate machine on the last visit. I really like the extended service hours.

I brought my car in for an oil change and a "maintenance special" per a coupon I had received. The work was handled quickly. The service rep recommended changing the air filter, which I had already thought it was time for, and cleaning the throttle body. I authorized this work and the car runs much better. Great job.

Gary was very considerate, professional and honest, which is and huge plus for a first time car buyer. Upon parking and getting out to check out the vehicle of interest I was approached by a smiling Clark. This superman of Chevy immediately recognized after speaking to me for a quick second I had studied up and knew what I was looking for. He helped me with my questions very well, showing his knowledge of what he was selling was excellent. I've been to a few other dealerships as well and a lot of the sales force is ignorant to a lot of the features of the cars which is a big turn off. After picking the car, the negotiation process was pleasant and easy, no back and forth games, he made it work for me, so I put a down payment down that very night. His confidence in knowledge, value and reliability of your dealership and product puts a great face on the Chevy brand. Clark Sharp was simply outstanding! On my 55th birthday I decided to order my first new car. I always drove used cars (purchased new for the wife and kids). I wanted to order a 2014 Corvette. I did my research, shopped around at other dealers, but other dealers had a $15K mark up over MSRP. Pohanka had no mark up and Clark was very knowledgable and helpful throughout the process. He kept me well informed and knew a lot about the new Corvette. This purchase was a "once in a lifetime" event for me. He made the entire experience a great one. Clark Sharp is the Best!

I took my truck in to check an intermittent shudder I'd noticed, as well as two things my mechanic had brought up that would be covered under warranty. They were unable to replicate the shudder, but fixed the other two items. I noticed the shudder as soon as I picked the truck up and was driving home, so I will take them up on their suggestion to stop by and take someone out with me to point it out. Other than that, completely satisfied with the service.

Terrific experience. They even helped me look up receipts for a gas sensor issue identified by GMC. Of course, I should have left the forms with servicing for processing... but I'll get by there again in the near future. It's rare to feel a sense of trust when you take your vehicle in for servicing. Pohanka is great!

Clark Sharp was on the ball from day one of working with him. The entire dealership staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The purchase process was over an 8 month stretch due to pre-ordering the new Corvette. I received continuous updates throughout the process as I was deployed to the Middle East during the process, photos when the car was delivered and the best car buying experience I have ever had the pleasure of receiving. The day after Christmas my Volt (with a full tank of gas) began to rapidly decelerate on Route 95 south of Baltimore. After pulling over and contacting Onstar, a diagnostic evaluation could not determine the cause for the loss of power. After approx 45 min down time, I continued the trip without inicident. The following day I took the Volt to Pohanka - their diagnostic was able to determine an event had occurred, but no further info regarding WHY it occurred could be determined. The customer service at Pohanka was excellent.

Due to the recall of my 2013 Chevy Cruze, I took my car in for the replacement part. I was greeted by professional and friendly personnel offering an explanation as to why my car was being recalled. Within hours, the part was replaced and I was on my way. It was, as always, a very pleasant, stress free visit. I always share my experiences with friends and family and always make a plug to buy a Chevy when it's time to replace the current vehicle they are driving.

The experience was positive. My salesman, Mark Califa, was excellent and represents the establishment very well. I was a bit disappointed that I had to haggle so much. My trade price was very low. The vehicle price was ok. I felt that the dealership could have met me with another 1-2 K for my trade. Again, Mark was excellent but when I am ready to trade my truck, you likely will not get my business if my trade is priced so low when the vehicles shape is excellent.

I needed a recall repair. Troy courteously and cheerfully greeted me at my car window as I pulled in before I could even turn the car off! He made sure I was comfortable in the customer lounge, and saw that the repair was done quickly. Upon completion he explained everything well to me. Additionally, there had been some damage done to the car due to the brake problem that the recall fixed, and Troy gave me the number to contact the GM Client Services people.

Mr. Clark Sharp was an outstanding representative of Pohanka. His responsiveness and helpfulness were the very best. Unfortunately, a Sales Manager was introduced into the proceedings. His first name is Dan. I can't identify him beyond that: he is the first Sales Manager I've ever met who did not open the conversation by presenting me his business card! His actions proved to be the reverse of his mouthing of the mantra "we want to make it as easy for you as possible"! He interposed more obstacles to my purchase of my new Chevy than I care to enumerate. I came very close to walking away from the deal and Pohanka Chevrolet because of his negativity, but hung on only because I realized Clark would be most hurt by that action. Dan is a deal-breaker and should be removed from future contact with customers. Clark, on the other hand was an excellent contact. If I have the misfortune to have to deal with Dan in the future, I may seek another dealership rather than be treated so poorly again.

Clark is an excellent young salesman that provided a no-hassle selling experience. Buying a car, new or used, is one of the experiences I hate the most. However, from the initial telephone call, to the welcome at the dealer and issuing the keys to the car, Clark provided a superb, easy buying experience. He is respectful and professional. And once we established the baseline for negotiation, he came back quickly with a reasonable offer. I will add that the sales team at Pohanka Chevrolet were fair and friendly. They are a USAA certified dealer, so you can use USAA for additional savings. Finally, for me the most important part of buying a car is the after-sale service. Clark has provided a superb after-sale support and has been timely in communicating with me and providing answers to the questions that Ive had. Overall, I had a good buying experience and therefore I can honestly recommend Pohanka Chevrolet and Clark Sharp for your next car purchase.

I am writing about my recent car buying experience and the exceptional service we received from your salesperson, Mr. Clark Sharp. After visiting numerous dealerships to look at both Jeep Grand Cherokees and Toyota Highlanders, we decided to visit Pohanka to check out a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee that we had seen online. Shortly after our arrival we were approached by Clark who was very disarming and relaxed, which immediately put us at ease. Unlike two other dealerships I contacted, Pohanka Chevrolet took the time to locate and acquire the exact vehicle I wanted. This alone accounts for the fact that I bought the vehicle. The other two dealerships tried to down-sell me on vehicles they had in stock and made it obvious they would not be willing to find the vehicle I wanted elsewhere. Had Karosh and Junehe not gone above and beyond in their effort to locate and acquire the vehicle I wanted, I would not be driving a new Chevy Camaro today.

I originally worked with Mark Califa in 2012 and he helped me with getting a great deal on a 2012 Equinox and made sure the buying process went quick and smooth. After that car was totaled in an accident I was then in the market for the new 2013 Equinox. I requested him because of my first experience and once again he proved to be a great help in getting me a good car at a great price. I was in contact with Korosh through email for the buying process. Figuring out everything with the numbers to make it happen. I was looking at the 2011 Subaru Impreza 2.5i Premium and basically said I want this car. After many emails I finally came in to seal the deal. Handed over proper paperwork he needed from me and it was essentially painless. Though the buying process can be long, it was very easy. I did not have the sales manager in my face as I did at Ted Britt Cheverolet in Sterling pressuring me to purchase a vehicle. Korosh even apologized on their behalf even though he did not have to! Luckily the truck was still available when i was ready, and we met Clark at the dealership. The truck was more than expected, Clark and the rest of the staff were excellent. He even bought us lunch while we waited for our financing to come through. Time in and out was great, everything went smoothly, and I love my new truck. Having found the vehicle I was looking for online, I proceeded to Pohanka Chevy to evaluate it (2008 GMC Acadia). When I arrived at the lot, I was thankfully met by John Marsden, and not one of the 15 newbies that were walking the lot at the time. While I am sure they will be great, I am used to experience, and that is what I got when John approached me. I told John what I wanted and that I wanted to make a deal that day. He skipped the typical sales guy B.S. of trying to get me into something new or different, and took me right inside to pre-qual and grab the keys. Having done some research and looked at a few other higher end cars, I knew what I wanted, and I knew that I would be getting it at a great Price, based on what Auto Trader had it listed for. John walked me though the inspection process and the carfax, and even evaluated a steering column noise that we could not determine the origin of. After some research it turned out to be loose steering wheel volume knobs, which I was able to quite down with a twist of a screw. While I did not get what I wanted to my trade (I had a bit of a higher quote from Carmax for my trade), the price of the vehicle off set that, and I still got something that I considered very reasonable if not a great deal. After about 1400 in equity on my trade, and a full 3yr 36000 mile GMPP warrenty I walked away with a deal 1K below retail. In my mind this was pretty great, and boy did I shop. Take it from a picky person, John Marsden did an excellent job, and walked me though the whole process. The finance guy, who I can't think of his name, was GREAT. Matched my credit union quote just about dead on. CU had 2.99 for 84 MO. But I was able to get 2.99 for 72 MO, which was certainly reasonable for a normal bank loan. Overall I give my experience a 9 out of 10. With the only point missing being the trade value. However, for the price they list their cars, I could see why they did not want to go higher. Certainly an A+ place.

I wish I could give ratings that exceeded "5 - great," because my experience with John and Terry at Pohanka in Chantilly was fantastic in all aspects. John, my salesman and Terry in finance were both outstanding and couldn't be more helpful. I went into the dealership this past Saturday in hopes of finding a new car. The experience was both easy and enjoyable! The way I was treated went above and beyond all expectations. I will visit Pohanka for another car when the time comes without question. John was not a cheesy car sales guy, who you just want to roll your eyes at because you feel their lies being thrown at you. He was very matter of fact, up front, genuine...he was young and full of energy. It's clear he loves his job and has a great attitude. He showed me a variety of cars and test drove the one I decided was my favorite. I felt he was the perfect salesman to fit my needs. He answered all my questions and made the process easy. After making it official, Terry in finance arranged the paperwork. He also impressed me. He was one of the friendliest, sharpest, and informative people I've met at a dealership. He answered every single question I had and broke the costs down in clear detail which was I was really appreciative of, especially as a young first time buyer. Terry was great with finding me the best interest rate in order to finance my car. I could tell he genuinely cared about me as a customer and it wasn't just an act, he was truly upfront and honest. Everything was simple and efficient and I couldn't be more impressed by Terry. I also met the general manager (I think his name was Dan) and he was just as nice and helpful. I knew there was no shadiness going on at Pohanka whatsoever. They all took great care of me and I was lucky to get a great deal on the car. They even stayed well past closing time in order to finish up the deal so that I could drive the car off the lot. I am so grateful this dealership goes above and beyond to help and will do anything they can to make the process of purchasing a car easier. The overall car buying process was fun! After finding my match for a used auto on the internet at the dealership, I called and Mr. Wheeler promptly replied with information to fulfill my needs. Test drove and he answered all my questions. He was sensitive to my time constraints and respected my needs for a used auto without being pushy. He delivered on time and met my expectations. My salesperson Clark was very efficient, effective and friendly. He was patient with me and showed me all the new whistles and bells in my new Equinox. Clark worked around my hectic schedule and I really appreciate the personal attention. He even listened patiently to my stories! The finance office Terry was also amazing. Terry was able to get me a great deal. I just bought the vehicle Tuesday and have already make recommendations. I have purchased five vehicles now from Pohanka Chevrolet and while each experience was positive, this time the sales staff was exceptional. They made the purchase extremely easy, accommodated my hectic schedule and went above and beyond when working the trade-in vehicle, even removing the after market stereo for me. I am not sure they could have done anything to improve the experience.The salesperson, David Wheeler, stayed in contact even while I was out of town. I gave him the specifications of what I wanted and he delivered. I realize this cannot happen without strong leadership and the entire staff is to be commended. Finally, Terry Long was very professional in explaining the various options. He was honest, respectful, and trustworthy. It is very important to me that a salesman makes an honest personal connection with a prospective buyer. I looked at vehicles at a number of dealerships and the reception always seems to be a facade and the sales force pretentious. I am glad I came back to Pohanka. It has been six years since my last purchase so none them would have recognize me. However, I was treated like they have known me for years. That is customer service! I had been researching the availability of low mileage Impalas. Pohanka is my local dealer. David, Lenny, and GM Steve took the time to learn my needs for my next vehicle and communicated regularly with me on pre-owned vehicles in their inventory that would meet my needs. They all were very upfront, fair, and transparent in appraising my trade (Malibu) and pricing the Impala. The delivery made it an even better experience because it was quick but thorough. I have used this dealer in the past for service on my Malibu (and intend to continue with my Impala). I highly recommend the sales team (especially David) and the service department and confident that they will exceed your expectations.

Convenient - I was pleasantly surprised that I could bring my car in on Sunday and receive just as much service as I can during the week! Love this! Plus I received great service - it didn't have the feel of lesser quality weekend workers at all! Fair and trustworthy - I felt like the resolution to my problem was the most cost effective to me while not putting me in any danger or causing any issues down the road with my car. I did not feel like I was being asked to spend money unnecessarily. I appreciated this - makes me feel comfortable that I can trust your opinion in the future. Excellent service - I brought the car in for an oil change and to evaluate an issue. Not only did they address these items (in a fair way as stated above), but they also caught that my inspection was due and handled that for me as well. That saved me a trip - I greatly appreciated that! They also washed my car which was very much appreciated as well. It had gotten quite dirty traveling in the latest weather and I hate having "my baby" dirty (especially that dirty), but I didn't have time to get it washed before taking it in. It was not the greatest wash, but it was great for what I needed that day! I had an excellent experience with Chad and his team this past Sunday! I cannot thank you enough!! When you're in a hurry, all of these little things mean the world!! I greatly appreciate the wonderful customer service!

My salesperson, David Coggin was wonderful to work with. I needed a bigger engine in a truck to pull a new, larger horse trailer I had just bought. He was very knowledgeable, was very willing to help me find a used or new truck to suit my needs. He was helpful and not high pressure at all, which I really appreciated. Everything about my buying experience went smoothly. I would definitely recommend him and Pohanka Chevrolet.

In general getting to the root cause of the brake problems did take a considerable amount of time, trial and error and expense. I had several other problems that were addressed immediately. So having said that I am very pleased with the professionalislm of everyone I came in contact with. Kyle Cox was outstanding. Introducing me to the mechanic Bobby was extremely helpful and it was great to have discussions with him as he purused the solution. He was direct with me and honest in saying they he was having a challenge sorting it all out. I never felt he was going to give up. The car is a 1988 corvette and finding parts was sometimes a challenge. Bobby and Kyle worked with me to locate parts on the internet. I also want to add that the service manager, Adam, was also very straight forward in ensuring me that the problems would be corrected. In the end the feeling i had was I was involved in the process, my thoughts considered and treated professionally.

I brought my 2004 Chevy Tahoe in for some service. It needed tires, inspection and a few other things. The transfer case was leaking and was going to take a day or two longer to repair. Troy bent over backwards and got me a loaner to use while the Tahoe remained in the shop. I no sooner got home and my phone was ringing. Good news, "we can have your truck ready in an hour". It seems that the Technician ( sorry did not get his name) and another employee got together and got it done !!! I have said before and I will say it again.... I have been driving the 20 miles back and forth to Pohanka since I bought this truck there in 2004. Why when there are other dealers closer to home?? Because Pohanka takes care of the customer with service that is second to none. I have found that the employees really go the extra mile and always make difficult situations more tolerable. Please make sure that you recognize Troy and all the tecnicians because service really makes all the difference. Thank you !

This review is not a reflection of the sales department, finance or the good people in the service department. Unfortunately it is a review of the the service departments manager, Mr. Stauffer. I brought my 2013 Cruze LTZ into Phohanka for a part that was damaged and covered under the warranty, the rubber outer seal that surrounds the door, in this case the passenger side door. The seal was not seated properly at the factory. While inspecting the seal, he's trying to talk me out of wanting to have it properly fixed, I'm hearing things like, 'it's not easy to get the new seal seated correctly','it's not an important seal to keep the rain out', 'we could cut the rubber piece that's sticking up with an exacto knife, make it look even'. What? How dissapointing. Is this the new GM or just the same o same o? I'm waiting for wheel locks to be installed and Mr Stauffer comes into the waiting area they finished but at the same time he says that he did the exacto thing. Bells go off. I go up to the car and the rubber was sliced in a feeble attempt to even out the strip and of course it doesn't take much to know how it looks. I look at him and say, I told you not to cut anything, he says we didn't cut that. That's the way it was???. I showed him the strip no more than 1/2 hr ago. In a short time I'm being called a liar and my imagination is running wild. The more Mr Stauffer denied cutting it the more his foot got in his mouth. Is this how GM turned out, they think so little of their cars a slice and dice fix to correct a factory issue will do? Implying the mechanics are to stupid to remove and replace a door seal properly. Arguing with customers who just paid over $30,000, or is that not enough? I wonder if the folks at Audi, BMW, Acura or Lexus would be the same way? Answer: No! I owned two of the four and the service department personnel and technicians are top notch. I gave the sales department an A+ and now the service manager a D. For what. All you needed to do was to own up for your mistake, not blame anyone or double talk me with your buddy you called over to agree with you.

I went in with my wife with the intention of just checking out a few cars and pricing out a trade in. I was met by Ira Hewitt at the front door with the vehicle I wanted to see ready to go. At first I just wanted to see it and I thought huh he's eager lets go look at this other one over there, to which He responded okay let me get the key. No worries laid back and there for the customer, we went and looked at it and really were not so sure about that vehicle anymore; (we didn't have a specific vehicle in mind) and said okay so what else is in your inventory we can look at within these parameters? He thinks and remembers what they have and runs the list three hours later and we are absolutely satisfied with our purchase had a great negotiation process on trade in and vehicle purchase price. He had no problem working with us, helping us and really making this one of the best experiences we have ever had at a car dealer. The General sales manager made sure he congratulated us and made some worthy conversation, not just small talk. Terry Long the financial and contract specialist was also very friendly, cordial and professional; he knows his job very well and that makes the finance process very easy, fifteen minutes and done. I would recommend this dealership, "Pohanka Chevrolet" to anyone in the market for any vehicle and especially Ira Hewitt, he brings a welcome Island smile to an often dreaded experience.

We had a single day to go car shopping, which fatefully fell on 12/26/2012. If you'll recall how bad the weather was, sleet, snow, rain - it seemed to be an omen for things to come. We went through the PenFed car buying service and Pohanka was our last stop on that dismal day. I anticipated that at Pohanka it would be the same impersonal, pressure-filled meeting. In a nutshell, another waste of time. Enter Ira Hewlett. While he had contacted us via email and was very cordial - It was nothing compared to the warm, friendly, no pressure, laid back attitude he exudes. He's a shining example of how easy car buying should be (not like pulling teeth or getting a root canal). We drove off the lot in 2013 Tahoe and couldn't be any happier with the customer service or the vehicle. Everyone that asks me about my Tahoe - I tell them to go to Pohanka and ask for Ira Hewlett. He seriously is the best salesman we've come across in years. He's an asset to Pohanka - and to car salesman everywhere. Give that man a raise!!!

My first experience was with my 2001 Saturn L300 that was giving error codes. I wanted a full diagnostic to determine what could be fixed. After a Buick dealer and another Chevrolet dealer in my area turned down service to even look at it, I picked Pohanka for its location to my work area. Their service department was very nice, even provided me with a car to drive for the day. My 2nd experience with Pohanka Chevrolet was when the 2001 Saturn L300 died of engine failure on my way into work. I had it towed into Pohanka. The service department explained to me what went wrong and what was going to happen to fix the Saturn L300. Needless to say that I didnt have it repaired. About one day later I got through to the sales department; spoke with John Marsden, who was very helpful, listened to what my concerns were about the Saturn and possible getting a new vehicle. Even offered to drive over to my work to pick me up, to go back to Pohanka to discuss options for a new vehicle and rid of the dead Saturn. That was on a Friday evening, where I test drove a Chevy Cruze, a few Chevy Equinoxes and a Chevy Traverse. Ended up, picking out a Chevy Equinox.

David Wheeler was by my side for every step of my purchase from the moment we shook hands to the moment I stepped out of the dealership with the keys to my new Spark in hand. Every question or request was met with patience and understanding, and Mr. Wheeler took the time to make sure I understood the features of my new car (including set-up for Onstar) before leaving the lot.

My car search began on December 13th went I was in an accident on 95 South on my way to work (total loss). I found Pohanka thru the PenFed Car Buying service and off all 23 dealerships that the services forwarder my request to, Pohanka Chevrolet was the first dealership to take the time and actually type out a response that was in response to my specific request (Advantage #1) while the other dealerships simply sent me an automated response that they probably send out to the hundreds of other people that might be looking into purchasing a vehicle. My consultant, Ira Hewlett, Jr., was extremely personable, could sense my frustration, sincerely dedicated to finding me what I needed for a price within my budget and promised me that he would not put me in a vehicle that he wouldn't be proud to have his sister drive. He payed particular detail to the features that I was looking for (great gas mileage, cruise control, key-less entry, Bluetooth wireless technology, etc.) and only showed me options that met or exceeded that criteria. (Advantage #2). Given my budget and no down payment, I had already made up my mind that I would only be able to afford a used car, which I would have been satisfied with as long as it could safely make the commute from Baltimore to DC everyday. However, by the time Ira was done with me, I was driving off the lot on December 19th in a brand new 2013 Chevrolet Sonic with only 13 miles on it( 6 of which I added during the test drive) and all of the features I wanted for less than what I had been approved for by the Credit Union for a used car. (Advantage # 3) This is the fourth vehicle that I have owned in my history of driving and my first brand new car. I visited 3 other Chevrolet dealerships during my search but I have to say, my experience at Pohanka Chevrolet was the most pleasant, convenient and rewarding(Advantage #4). Most of all, my sales consultant, Ira, was "The Best", making the car buying process a walk in the park. Thanks you so much Ira!!!! Overall, I am glad that I made the decision to visit Pohanka Chevrolet in Chantilly, VA and I wont hesitate to return in the future whenever I decide that I want to buy another vehicle.

My wife and I were looking to trade in a vehicle and buy a new Equinox. We had talked to a few dealerships and decided to visit Pohanka first. A friend of ours had referred us to shop there, as he had just purchased an Equinox there a few weeks earlier. We already had financing through our bank and got an appraisal from Carmax on our truck. When arrived at Pohanka we test-drove the Equinox and they gave us an appraisal on our truck. Not only did we get a great deal on our Equinox, they were able to match our appraisal from Carmax. The customer service was flawless and we never felt pressured to make any commitments. I will recommend buying from Pohanka to everyone I know looking to purchase vehicle.

This is my second new car purchase from Pohanka Chevrolet. Mark Califa is the reason I look to Pohanka first. For both of my purchases, Mark C. has been knowledgeable, helpful, and demonstrates a desire to put my needs first. Additionally, Mark reamained with me through the sales process ensuring my needs were addressed all the way to the point where I drove off the lot. There were many "trivial" details towards the end of the process where he could have walked off, but he did not. This aspect makes a great impression on the customer. I was also very happy with the Financing process managed by Mr. Malika. He was informative without being pushy and helped me make decisions that best fit my needs. I definitely look forward to future vehicle purchases with Mark Califa and Pohanka Chevrolet. I will also refer my family and friends.

I was interested in buying the Chevy Cruze LTZ and talked to David Wheeler. He informed me of all the features and other car options to see if I was interested in other car options. David helped to get me a great price for my car and worked with me throughout the entire car-buying process. He explained all necessary and important information. He also stayed with me after all the paperwork was filled out to help set-up the OnStar service which was extremely nice and helpful. David also called me the following day to make sure that I was still happy with the car and to see if I had any questions. I also worked with Terry Long to work out the financing aspect of purchasing the Cruze. He explained everything very well and helped to make sure that I understood everything about financing my car. My recent ecperience with Pohanka Chevrole Chantilly and and especially with Sales Specialist Mark Califa was of the highest caliber. Through the partnership of Costco and Pohanka's Mark Califa, I would able to navigate the sometimes stressful experience of acquiring a new vehicle. Mr. Califa was courteous, respectful and extremely patient with a customer who is not knowlegeable of the process. My last vehicle purchase was ten years ago at Pohanka and I expecedt no less in customer satisfaction and service than I have experienced in the lasat ten years. I was not disappointed in that expectation. My thanks also to the gentleman who delivered my new Volt to my home address the next day. I am 63 years old and have sat in front of many a sales person. David provided me my most comfortable experience ever. He made me feel relaxed, more than a customer and treated me with respect. Honest and truthfull are words that come to mind. He promised me a good deal and a great car for the price I wanted to pay. I came in at 1PM and around 6PM I drove off in my new 2013 Chevrolet Cruze LTZ fully equipped. A very nice looking car that I have received compliments on. Terry Long was the finance manager that got me the great deal David promised. Pohanka Chevrolet is a friendly place to be, the staff is friendly and greet you with a smile. I know because I sat there 5 hours and was comfortable. I would highly recommend Pohanka Chevrolet. Their inventory is huge.

The dealership is full of friendly faces and helpful people. My husband and I originally walked in looking to lease, and three weeks later ended up buying as it was the better solution for us. Mr. Wheeler did not just treat us as a customer, but welcomed us as family! The dealership worked in tandem to make sure that we received the lowest interest rate, and also explained in full detail exactly what we were getting with our purchase. Overall experience was "ok" (aka "3" using aforementioned criteria within your page above). That is because I just did not get a good feeling that the numbers were correct. The salemen (Bailey, McVicar, and Marsden) all were friendly and knowledgable, but were INCREDIBLY pushy; too pushy; too "salesmanly". At the end of the day, I signed the deal and love the car. I think I could have gotten a better deal, but I was way too tired and I had not prayed sufficiently over this purchase.

I came by to check out the Malibu and Josh was incredibly helpful from square one. He was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions about the car. Josh put me right at ease, and I will certainly be recommending Pohanka to any friends looking for a new vehicle.

I was curious to see what other cars were on the market and in my price range. My sister suggested that I take a look at Chevrolet (she drives one and loves it). I was both surprised and impressed by Chevrolet and the Pohanka dealership. While I was looking around I was approached by Josh who was friendly and excited to tell me about the cars. I wanted to know more about the Tahoe and he was able to thoroughly answer all of my questions. He encouraged me to take a test drive and talked to me about different options for buying. I was truly happy with the way in which Josh communicated with me. His general manner, and overall friendliness made me feel instantly comfortable. He wasn't pushy, but was suggestive. I didn't feel like I was trying to be oversold, but instead was trying to be fit to the right auto. It turns out that I am just not in a payout ion to purchase right now, but I am sure that when it is time I will come see Josh. I never thought I would say this, but I trust him as a car salesman. I went into the dealership on a whim just to look at the Camaro when in fact I already had a deal working with Ford. Josh was fantastic! I told him exactly what I was looking for and he had something on the lot that I test drove and bought that day. From a sales perspective, he was very good at overcmoming any/all my objections and went the extra mile in his personal interaction while I was waiting for the Finance Manager to be available. The whole process was very smooth and I would certainly recommend Josh, specifically, and the dealership.

Chris was helpful and I walked away with a new car. I felt that he wanted me to buy a certain vehicle rather than to go the extra step to find out if we could find another color or vehicle that would work. I asked him twice to check and was going to walk away. The only reason that I stayed is because my 17 year old son liked the vehicle we were looking at. In the end, I am happy, but I would have given him higher praises if he would have at least tried to work-up the other vehicle that I was looking at which was in the same price range, so I didn't understand if it was laziness or just an excuse to push a vehicle that may be hard to sell based upon color.The other problem is that I was told a price and a payment, which in the end did not match-up. $51K was the sales price on the vehicle, I paid $56K in the end plus the negative equity in my BMW. This turned out to be $69K. While this is my responsibility to review the documents, I was told one thing and the paperwork read another. The difference in the end was about $5,000+. I did not truly benefit from the rebates, sales price, or military discount. I only caught this after reviewing the documents days later, which has left a bad taste in my mouth.Again, in the end I am happy with the product, but I didn't get a deal at all even though it was sold to me that way. I wouldn't have bought the car if I would have taken the time to check the numbers.

I purchased my new 2011 Suburban 2500 from Josh at Pohanka and my sales experience couldn't have been better! I live over 3 hours away and went to Pohanka because they had the best price on the 2500 Suburban out of the whole mid-Atlantic area. I got everything done over the phone before coming up to Pohanka. I took the train from Newport News to Washington where Josh met me at the train station and took me to the dealership. All I had to do was sign the paperwork. Josh really takes pride in his job and you can really tell that he loves what he does! I would highly recommend Josh to anyone looking to purchase a new Chevy!

Sales people are often too pushy or have that fake, 'overly friendly' thing going... But Josh seemed like he really just wanted to help. He seemed really knowledgeable. What pushed me to write this review ( I never do these things) is the fact that I told him that I was just browsing and not in a position to buy at the moment... And he didnt just turn his back on me; he hung around and answered a bunch of questions. Nice guy. Ill be coming back!

I went into this dealership as a first time car buyer and didn't really know what to expect aside from prior research. When I arrived, the car that I called about was already up front ready for me to test drive. Afterwards, the dealer was able to provide me with all the background on the car, the previous owner, and a comparison between the model I was test driving and other similar models. I wasn't 100 percent sure if the car I inquired about was what I wanted. But after talking with Junehee, I was ready to start the buying process. He informed the finance guy that I was a recent grade and that I was new to the credit world, and because he did I was able to get referred to program which got me a lower interest rate, that alone made this process a great one. Other than that, the dealer was friendly and seemed honest. I even got help with minor things after the sell.

Christian did a great job working to get me a good deal on a used vehicle. However, when I brought it in for a couple things to fixed under the short warranty, two of the smaller issues were just overlooked. To their credit, one of the major issues was fixed free of charge; but the other major issue I don't feel was given any time. I was told it would cost me $150 just to have it looked at.

Chris was great! It turns out the vehicle we bought needed a couple thousand dollars worth of work like a week after we bought it and even though we have purchased the "gold" warrenty it was not covered. Other than that it was a good place to buy a car.

This was the 6th car that we have bought from Pohanka. We have been completely satisfied with each transaction from purchase to service and trade-in. When we came in to buy our current vehicle, we were priveledged to meet Chris Montana who was a pleasure to work with. He was able to answer our questions in a very calm and professional manner. It was nice to do business with him as he made each step of the process uncomplicated.

We came from Maryland to look at a preowned vehicle that was being sold as we pulled up. Chris helped us find a comparable vehicle on the lot and he let us take our time to look around. Chris was not pushy or over bearing and was a pleasure to work with. The only complaint I have does not have anything to do with his service, but with the vehicle itself. When we took our vehicle to get MD inspected it did not pass inspection due to a leak that cost nearly a thousand dollars to repairs. Luckily, we purchased the warranty which did cover the repairs, however; the shop where it was repaired said it seemed to be pre-existing and should have been caught before it was sold to us. I think that the dealership should consider doing a more thorough maintenance inspection before putting the vehicles on the lot.

Chris displayed a quiet calm assurance that inspired confidence and made an otherwise long process seem quite bearable. He was both helpful and attentive in making sure that I understood exactly what was what, working out the finder details of my intended purchase, and checking on my level of comfort during the visit. More telling was that he was not overbearing and insistent though he knew I was prepared to postpone purchasing to a later date, but remained calm and invested while I thought everything through.Given his manner, I would highly recommend him to any of my friends looking to purchase a vehicle, and definitely any wanting to join the GM family.

He did not try to sell me what he had available, as the others did, but listened to what I needed and successfully fullfilled my request quickly. I love this dealership. The customer service is top notch. Prices are very competitive. I would recommend Pohanka to my family and friends. Their service department is open every day and no appointments are needed. Everyone there goes out of their way to give the best customer service possible. The waiting room has TV and free refreshments, even wifi. Jim Cestare made buying my recent car purchase painless which is the second car I bought from Pohanka. They do not believe in a hard sell. Try Pohanka and you never use another dealer again.

John is professional, courteous, straightforward, and has a great sense of humor. I went in to Pohanka on 12 September 202 with my mom - we were both in the market for new cars. I knew what I wanted, she didn't. John was able to help both of us in exactly the way we needed. He was able to answer my specific questions, and knew the questions to ask to help mom figure out the best vehicle for her. From start to finish, the experience was fun. I didn't feel pressured at any time, which is always a concern while buying a car. He also took the time to introduce us to the service department manager.Terry handled the financing. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and I feel like he really worked to get me the best deal possible. He also gave me some great tips for increasing my credit score, and some great advice regarding future financing options. He was very straightforward, and again, I didn't feel pressured to buy anything extra. I felt very comfortable working with him. I fully intend to bring my new car into Pohanka for service, and when the time comes to buy again, this will be where I go. I've been a loyal Chevy driver for almost 20 years, and Pohanka is the best dealership I've worked with.

I had the worst experience with this dealer they try to be nice but they are just a regualar dealeship that try's to get your money my son went over there last Saturday looking at a car the first thing he saw where a bunch of sales people standing infront of the showroom trying to bite each customer who stops his car he tried looking at a car and the only thing they wanted is to get him in and make a deal is this a way to treat people this is not a nice attitude he test drove the vehicle it had a rattle sound and lots of issues and the sales person was telling him we take care of our cars before we put them on the lot so this appears to be a lie when he said ok and pretended he likes the car they gave him a piece of paper with numbers for financing and he never asked for financing and the second thing is how do they know his credit score, he went to another dealer found the right vehicle with no hassle I hate this dealership and I always hear bad reports from people in my neighborhood but I thought they were something different but its true what people said about them FOLKS DON'T GO THERE it's a big mess

I was referred to Pohanka Chevrolet through Pentagon Federal Credit Union Car Buying Service (Zag). I was contacted promptly by phone and email regarding my online request for information and had regular follow-ups to any questions I had via email. Once in the dealership, I was greeted promptly and was behind the wheel within minutes for a test drive. While I didn't get as much out of my trade-in as I had hoped, I actually did get what I was expecting. With the pre-negotiated pricing through PenFed, I got a great price. The closing process was quick and painless. Overall, this was an excellent experience and I got the exact vehicle I wanted.

We knew we wanted a Traverse and visited many dealers. We found many other dealers to be very pushy and not knowledgeable about the product. Howard had a answer (correct) for every question we had. He was not pushy and only followed up twice (as we asked him to). Compared to competitors Howard and Pohanka completely blew them out of the water. They made the process very easy and stayed in the office over two hours past closing to help us. The price they gave us was the best on the market and there were no hidden fees (like several of the competitors). Their interest rate was great and nothing else could be said for how well they treated us. If you are in the market for a Chevy they are definitely the place to go. Everyone that helped us was not only knowledgeable they were very pleasant. This cannot be said about almost every other dealer we visited. We walked away with the deal of a lifetime and the truck that will transport my family for years from now. We will be back to purchase all future vehicles from Pohanka and Howard from now on. We are 150% happy. This is the ONLY place to purchase a Chevy new or used.

I am from New Jersey and was visiting the Manassas/Chantilly area due to a family emergency. My 2011 Chevrolet Silverado HD was due for service at the same time. There are several dealerships in the area to choose from and I was not familiar with any of them. I chose Pohanka Chevrolet mainly because of the the reviews on this site. Then, I nearly fell over when I saw that their service department is open until 11:00 pm on weeknights! I had never seen that anywhere before. I called at 10:53 pm the night before I needed service and a very pleasant service advisor said to just come on in the next morning and my needs would be taken care of. No set appointment was necessary.The next morning, I went in and was greeted by Mike Seed. I told Mike what I needed done and he saw to it that the work was done around my schedule. Some of the work was covered under warranty. Unlike other dealership experiences in the past, this was no problem. (I had problems with a Ford dealer years ago that would not do waranty work for me because the truck "was not one of theirs.") In the end, my truck was ready later in the day as promised. Amazing service. No other way to describe it. I called for an appointment and was told to just stop on by. I did that and my car was taken care of immediatly. A minor scuff happened to the lower bumper, and I informed Adam, and he wasted no time and took care of everything. Kept me informed everystep of the way. Great service! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed dealing with Badr Boujelial. He was friendly, honest, forthcoming, and truly wanted to see us get the price we wanted. As far as some of the other personnel at Pohanka Chevrolet, each and every one seemed genuine and down to earth. We drove from Pennsylvania to Virigina to deal with the sales people there and we were completely satisfied. In addition, I felt the entire experience was fantastic. In the future, I would not hesitate to deal with Pohanka personnel as well as upper management. We also ended up dealing with the Chief Operating Officer who was extremely personable, honest and very jenuine.

I have tried to buy a I'd vehicle from these people twice. The first time my wife and I were looking for a used Corvette. We are quite young to be buying quite a toy and to make that obvious the young salesperson got the manager when we asked for a test drive. The manager came up to us and asked us straight up if we were "here to joyride the car." needless to say we went elsewhere. A couple years later we decided to get an SUV. They had a decent one that needed some minor mechanical work. We negotiated an out the door price including the maintenance. I tried to get a loan approval but the bank was closed. The next day I was contacted by the salesperson saying they had another appointment to come look at the truck. Within 15 minutes of that notification I had the approval of my bank in Michigan and they we overnighting me a certified check. The salesman never responded when I texted hi telling hi mi got the loan. 5 calls to his cell two voicemails, a call to lineman line, my bank calling and finally a call to the sales manager and 3 hours after I told hi I got the check the sales managers informs me they sold the truck 1 hour ago.

Letter I sent to the GM explaining my situation and reason for rating:I had test drove the 2004 Suburban at your dealership on Friday 10/14. Then Saturday I e-mailed Steve Waersch (the only e-mail I could find on my mobile device) that I was interested in the vehicle and wanted an out the door price, I also wanted a quote for some maintenance on the vehicle as it had a bad intermediate shaft causing the steering clunk and the front passenger output shaft seal was also leaking quite a bit from the transfer case.I was contacted by Charles Thomas (who I talked to on Friday) on Monday as a follow up to my e-mail, he went over the price, tax, and service fees for having the issues repaired, I told him I would try to get the loan information and approval for him later that day but by the time I was available the bank was closed. As a follow up to that I told him I would know for sure Tuesday as to whether the bank will approve the loan or if we would just pay cash for it. Charles contacted me Tuesday afternoon saying he had other appointments for it. I then got on the phone and got approved through my bank for the vehicle.Charles asked at 1:02 if I was still planning on purchasing the truck. I responded at 1:18 saying it would be later this afternoon because I was in a meeting and my wife was a school teacher and wouldn't get out until later.At 1:35 I told him I got the loan approved and don't know how to get him a check today because my bank is a federal credit union in Michigan, he responded at 1:43PM with the fax number and asked if I could fax it. I asked the loan officer as I was on the phone and she said they don't fax checks but she can send me an approval letter today with the vehicles information and the check will be here tomorrow, she also said she had to contact the dealership regarding the vehicle anyway. I told him that information at 1:45 and was never contacted by him after that 1:43 text message.I called 5 times, all to his cell starting at 2:08, then again at 2:19, then 4:03, then 4:40. And once to the main phone at 2:40 where I was told he was with a customer.I then called your sales manager Jeremiah at 4:41 where I was informed the car was sold. He told me Charles would call me back, which he hasn't done.Needless to say I am very upset about this experience. When Charles first approached us on Friday when we were looking at the truck I told him I had to beg my wife to come back here because of our first experience with this dealership. The first time we came we were looking at a 1998 Corvette, after looking at it I requested a test drive, the salesman went and asked the manager (Jeremiah if I remember) who then came out and asked us point blank "are you wanting a joy ride."That kind of treatment led us to quit negotiations (which were also intolerable, trying to make me sign some paper before we even started) and look at a different vehicle. After purchasing a different 2002 Corvette for more money I returned and found the salesman I originally dealt with who had been calling me once every few days to ask if I was still interested in the car. I pointed out my new one which I was getting the service history printed for (it was originally purchased and serviced at Pohanka) and told him I am no longer in the market for a Corvette.The first experience was excusable but this latest one just isn't. Working hard to get loan information and checks overnighted only to have the salesperson disappear and then sell the car out from under me (I can only assume he sold it because if another salesperson had an up on it I'm sure he'd be doing everything to get a deposit out of me).My wife and I are new to the area (2 years) live in Bristow, VA, 26 years old so have a lot of time left here, and have owned nothing but Chevy's (me 8 of them in the 10 years I've had my license, her 5 in her 10 years). Our latest two being a brand new 2011 Camaro Convertible purchased from Country Chevrolet and a 2011 Chevy Cruze purchased through the same dealership. We were not overly impressed with their sales department either and were shopping for a new dealership. This experience has driven us away from your dealership for life. We will never come back no matter how good of a deal you have on an automobile.

I had the priviledge of working with Badr who was extremely professional and knowledgable about the Chevrolet Tahoe. He has a bright future with Pohanka! I was also shocked when I received Pohanka's offer for my trade-in. The trade-in price exceeded my expectations. Using USAA Buying Service as a guide, I was provided with three dealership quotes for a 2011 Chevy Traverse with two options. The lowest quote came from Mr. Jeff Bounds,Pohanka Chevrolet, who provided an excellent, but unexpected, out-the-door price. The other two dealerships responded with offers, but not the "out the door" price, which is very, very important to the buyer. Although Pohanka Chevrolet was 60 miles from my home, I felt that Mr. Bounds offer was the only one that covered all the unknowns. I knew the exact price I was going to pay for the Chevy Traverse when I visited Pohanka Chevrolet, and I got it. Mr. Bounds, as his name reflects, does just that. I couldn't slow him down. He quickly negotiated my desires with the sales manager, and finally came up with a satisfactory deal for the dealership and me. I have already recommended Mr. Bounds to one of my daughters, who is interested in a Traverse, as the salesman to see at Pohanka Chevrolet. I then met Mr. Dan McVicar, Finance Manager, and he carefully explained the various items that would benefit my car and me. All his offers were inviting, but the only one I took advantage of was the financing that he offered from Suntrust. Although I had a pre approved loan from NFCU, his offer lowered the monthly payment to what I wanted. Thank you Dan. It was late in the day and I wanted Roof Rails installed on my Traverse. I was told it would take a couple of hours to install them, and I really didn't want to wait another extended period. At the moment, Mr. Bounds introduced me to Ava Kelly, Client Relations Manager, and he told her of my dilemma with the roof rails, and she offered me the use a "loaner car" that evening, and to return the next day and the roof rails would be installed on my new Traverse, and ready to take home. Throughout the years, I have continued to enjoy the excellent relationships with the Pohanka family of dealerships, but this one has been the best. Well done, Pohanka Chevrolet.

First, right after I pulled into the dealership, I was immediately greeted by Phillip Williams. He was upbeat, polite, courteous, and a truly knowledgeable professional. He asked me what my needs were with regards to what vehicle I was choosing and we arrived at the Silverado 1500 with the towing package. The overall experience was quality, the staff at Pohanka get my highest rating for friendly customer service. As for the price well that wasn't bad either. Best Regards!!!

I purchased a new Cruze for my son. I paid cash. The salesman Anuj was professional and answered all emails and phone calls propmptly. One issue I had was the requirement for a credit check when paying cash. I was led to believe it was the law....9/11 was mentioned. However I have learned it's just corporate policy. I also asked before closing "when are the 2012's coming out" I was informed "not until September" In fact they were probably already on the lot. My fault for not checking before I got there. If I had know the new models were already available I would have probably declined the great offer they made on the 2011. The real problem is that I was contacted by a company representative who I explained my concerns to. I was to receive a return call.....I did not. I have been in contact with Anuj since, and as always he promptly responded.

I actually had a pleasant buying experience for a new Malibu for my daughter. I was contacted by Tim Dabney who was exceptionally friendly, helpful and professional over the phone and in person. I gave him my criteria and he provided me a list of several cars matching my list. The price was super competitive and I was able to pick up my car and complete the necessary paperwork in about an hour. Great experience. I can highly recommend this dealer/salesperson.

I have had multiple cars leased and purchased over the years at Pohanka Chevy in Chantilly, VA but this purchase of a new LTZ Equinox easily surpassed any other buying experience my wife and I have had, not only for a car but for all other purchases! The price was more than a fair deal based on Chevy discounts plus Pohanka's willingness to understand a fair value with their discounts. It was the easiest and fastest car buy of all, and the salesman, Mark Califa, had an honest approach to sales that made the buy such a good experience. My white Equinox LTZ is a knockout and people are very surprised it is not a luxury class SUV. It looks and drives like it. So, we got to know Mark and Eva Kelly, the client relations manager, and we will be going back for service and visiting Mark and Eva to let them know how we are enjoying the car. My old Saturn finally died with 190,000 miles on it and it was not drivable so I needed a new car quickly. I had test driven a CRV, RAV-4 and the Equinox. I really liked the Equinox and picked it up last Thursday.I went in to the dealer tested the car, got approved for 3.59 financing and drove away in about 2 hours. Great service.

My purchase was through the GM Family First Program which set a predetermined price on my new 2011 Equinox. My previous GM purchases were Pontiacs and since the Pontiac line was discontinued, I chose Pohanka Chevrolet because it is the closest GM dealership to my home. My salesman, Dave Coggins, was very helpful and answered all of my questions. He was never a pushy salesperson; that is definitely something I appreciated.

My overall experience with pohanka was excellent. My first contact was with Anuj in response to an on-line request I made through my insurance comapny, USAA. He was very prompt and professional in his response and helpful with questions that I had. His follow-up was appropriate and not over zealous. Anuj was very helpful through the closing and gave a very thorough review of the cars controls and features and helped me get the electronics set up.The selection at Pohanka was impressive and Pohanka was the only dealership that came close to having what I was looking for. I tend to be weary of auto dealerships, but I have to say my experience with Pohanka and Mark Caifa was on very good. My reason I used Pohanka was that they are affiliated with the Costco Buying Program, there are Chevy dealers that are closer to my home and work. This is my second Tahoe and while I knew that I wanted another Tahoe I needed time to figure the model and options. After multiple visits and working with Mark Califa I figure out what I wanted and the dealership attempted to find one to my specifications. When they could not find what I desired they order it from the factory. I had never done this before, but everything went very smoothly and I had my truck in about a month. The attention to my needs, lower pressure, very good pricing and good communication thru out the buying process was above my expectations. I highly recommend this dealership.

I was looking for a Malibu in black and cocoa interior. I talked to almost all the dealers and only two of them had it. My wife and I spend several months researching with six different dealerships contacting us for business. Pohanka Chevrolet's sales rep Mark Daniels consistently took the time and went the extra mile. Though this dealership was approx a four hour drive from my actual home I was willing to make the drive to get the absolute best deal. The exact same vehicle was located at a dealer in my home town but unfortunately was not willing to work or deal with me. I made the four hour drive to Pohanka and was not disappointed. This is the second car we purchased from Pohanka Chevrolet and could not be more pleased. In 2004 we purchased a new Suburban and were very pleased with the price and the staff we encountered. Enuj, salesman, could not have been better in any way, looking out for our best interests while at the same time working for the dealer. In the five years we had the car we returned to Pohanka for every service and were just as pleased. The Service Managers are all outstanding and go out of the way to ensure that the experience is top notch. In 2009 we "downsized" and made a huge mistake in the purchase of a Volvo XC90. The car was nothing but trouble and the Volvo dealer to which we took the car was completely unsatisfactory. Last Sunday we returned to Pohanka and purchased a 2011 Traverse and found all the reasons we liked Pohanka before to be intact, if not better. The experience was completely satisfying from the test drive, to the discussion on different models to the assistance with financing. We in and out in a timely manner. I have rated the dealership the way that I did because our salesperson, Anuj Bharadwaj was so friendly and professional to deal with. Both during and since buying our car from him, he has gone above and beyond our expectations. Anuj really worked to find us the car that worked best for us and get us a good price. He also took so much time in explaining the features of our new car. After the sale, Anuj coordinated service appointments for us. If we we are shopping for another new car, we would definitely return to Pohanka and work with Anuj again.

Had a very good, low pressure buying experience at Pohanka on a new 2010 Suburban. Started off looking at two used suburbans after reaching out through cars.com. One thing led to another and the new one is now in our driveway. It was a fast buy cycle as we were leaving the next day for vacation and needed to get home for packing. They pushed things through quickly and our sales rep even followed me back to get a few signatures from my wife rather than make her drive to the dealership. Very professional staff from our sales rep, manager and finance person. Highly recommended.

I believe they were very sincere and working with me to get the best deal possible. I did not feel pressured nor tricked, when dealing with these two guys. There are a lot of "awful" car salesmen out there - and I dread going to the dealership looking for vehicles, because I do not have the patience to "play the game". I did not feel this way at this dealership and working with these two guys. This is my third Chevy. My very first car was a Chevelot, then I moved up the a Corvette, and now my Tahoe Truck and I am loving it. Thanks guys!!

Mark and Pohanka Chevrolet did a great job in processing our purchase of a chevy equinox. Mark took us on a test ride and it seemed that after we made the decision to purchase several things were going on at the same time. They provided the license plates and inspection saving us a trip to the DMV. THey did the credit check and set up the loan. Mark did an excellent job explaining all of the features of the Equinox and he set up the blue tooth. The reason we purchased the car from Phoanka was because it offered us the lowest price. These cars are very hard to get and we needed one right away and John - the USAA rep there reserved the car for us as soon as we called.Our daughter will now be driving the equinox to Nashville, TN. We are delighted that she will be traveling in a safe car with lots of room to haul personal effects.Frank and Donna Hall

Buying cars is not my favorite thing to do, but with David he was very thorough and treated me like the decision maker that I was.I went to 5 dealers and everyone except this one did not treat me with respect or professionalism. As a woman, I was treated differently than a man. When I went shipping with my husband a second time, every sales person was addressing him first and did not talk to me directly. With Pohanka and specifically this sales person, I had an excellent experience and would strongly recommend them.

I made contact with Mark while reviewing and shopping for vehicles online. My hectic work schedule did not allow me to spend much time in a dealership or on a phone. Mark lived up to my expectations of an internet sales professional to a tee. I shopped several other local dealers who gave me the basic sales tactics trying to lure me into the dealership or ignoring my requests for information. I have already referred a colleague to Mark. This was a learning experience for my 22 YOA son Jamaal who is just establishing credit after his return from a 1 year deployment to Iraq. The entire experience was great and I think that it is due in a large way to Mr. Mark Califa, beginning with his response to my USAA internet request up to the time we drove the car off the lot. I did notice that the price and availability of the vehicle we orignally chose online was not available and USAA should specifiy this fact when shoppers are looking to buy through the USAA Car Buying Option. However, in spite of everything we were offered a great interest rate that compared to the USAA loan and the car was just what my son Jamaal needs to start off with in his financial endeavors.Thanks Pohanka Chevrolet! My son has a question however about the large poster that hangs in your Chantilly showroom. Can you tell us a little bit more about it and why there is such a disparity between the men in the photo.

I went to a few other dealers and then to pohanka. Pohanka had a better price at the start than the others had at the end of negotiating. The actual buying process took a long time but they were very attentive and detail oriented. Charles expertly answered my questions, without ever being pushy.

I brought my car to Pohanka Chevrolet this spring(09) because the AC was not working I was told by several employees/mechanics that there was a crack in my AC compressor and it needed to be replaced I received an estimate of over 1500 for parts and labor, the "mechanic" refused to even try to recharge my ac saying that the "crack was too big" and that "all the coolant would just pour right out" I took it to another garage who recharged my AC and have had no problems since, being as there was no damage at all to my compressor it just needed new coolant. This dealership is the epitome of a dealer ripoff shack there is no way the mechanic saw any type of damage there was none. During that same visit I was also charged 45 dollars (which I was told was a discounted price) to have my spark plug re-threaded after they damaged it on a tune up they had performed a month earlier causing a spark plug to misfire. I was told there was nothing they could do about the charge even though the damage was theirs.

Had fuel pump serviced at this dealership. When I arrived to pick it up, I proceeded to the gas station to fill 'er up. As soon as I inserted the nozzle and began the fill up, gasoline quickly rushed from underneath the car all over the place. I took it back immediately and the tech forgot to attach the nozzle to the tank... Brilliant! I then proceeded back to the same gas station and filled it up this time without the super-soaker action from underneath the car. When I started it back up, the fuel gauge still said I had an 8th of a tank. Those rocket scientists forgot to attach the fuel sensor! What a waste of an entire evening after a long days work. Thank you Pohanka for being a crackerjack waste of time, space, and air!
