The company that I work for has purchased several vehicles from Portage and has always stood behind every sale and provided vehicles that have done well. My wife and I purchased a 2019 Ford F-250 Super Duty and traded in a Colorado. They gave us an awesome trade-in allowance that we were very pleased with. I encourage anyone and everyone that when you think you have found your best deal somewhere else, be sure to check Portage before making that final deal with another - it can't hurt and you probably will be glad you did.

From the moment we walked in it felt very welcoming. Dennis and Chip are fun while being professional. Chip is very honest and knowledgeable. Chip went above and beyond to make sure we could leave with our new Jeep. The Jeep was very clean inside and out as well as all of the other vehicles on the lot. While waiting we were offered refreshments from both Dennis and Chip. They even made sure we had a full tank before we left. They called the next day to make sure everything went well and told us to inform them if we have any problems with the Jeep. Would highly recommend to friends and family.

All I can say is wow, what and awesome place to buy a truck from. I purchased a 2016 f150 today and couldn't be more happy. Everyone here is very friendly and there is 0 pressure to purchase a vehicle. Not at all the typical buying a car experience. Dennis and Paul were both amazingly friendly. Their trucks a priced fairly average but there service was not. It was amazing. There is not a single truck on the lot that is junk. I would have confidently bought any of them. Every truck on the lot was undercoated and very professionally detailed. The truck was cleaned inside and out. From being waxed down to perfect lines on the interior carpet. Dennis literally made me feel like I was buying a car from a family member and I will refer him to everyone I can. I couldn't come up with a negative thing if I tried. I wish all dealerships were like this. If you are looking for a like new truck, this is where you need to go.

I was looking for a good used cargo van for my business, I found this dealership online and called them about vans they had for sale. After speaking with the salesman I drove to Akron to look at their selection. I was pleased to find that they had a good selection of quality used cargo vans that were reasonably priced. The staff was very helpful and friendly and they did not engage in high pressure sales tactics. They allowed me to take my time and choose the best vehicle that suited my needs. It was a good buying experience and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality used van.

They understood my needs and bent over backwards without me asking for it and wasn't aware of it until the deal was in progress. Harold truly was a genuine down to earth salesman who cared about a person he never saw before. I have recommended this company to several people and will continue to do so. We bought a total of four vans from Harold and I would not go to anybody else. He is very friendly, knows what our company needs and goes the extra mile to make it happen. He always calls me back when he is unavailable to take my call. I would definitely recommend!

I had the opportunity to work with Harold at a Mazda store a few years ago and admired his style immediately. When I saw my Chevy Colorado, (it is now,) on their web site I knew that I would have the best sales experience possible and be able to catch up with an old friend. I was not disappointed in any way. He was able to put a deal together that I couldn't believe and get me back into a truck after many years in the minivan program.

I bought two vans from them. I got 880 mi. out of one of the vans. Number eight cylinders rings are bad, they will do nothing. Would not call me back and beat around the bush. Beware of these guys.

Harold Thomas, was friendly, straightforward, and efficient. Making the purchasing process quick and easy. I have looked at a couple of vehicles at portage car and truck sales. Haven"t seen anything cleaner or nicer. The F-150 I purchased is nicer than any I saw around Akron.

I was looking for a used cargo van and in my area I could not find any worth looking at. So upon locating this dealership I took the drive 45 miles south and found a huge selection of them. Most were fleet vehicles, reconditioned and ready for sale. I was greeted by Dennis who was immediately in tune to what I was looking for and showed me several vans. Once I made my choice, there was a problem with the brakes and the vehicle needed to be serviced before I was able to test drive it.This was on a Friday afternoon and i asked him if he needed a security deposit to hold it, to which he replied, " A hand shake is good enough for me." Come Monday morning the van was fixed and the deal was made including a discount for my inconveniences. Harold is their finance manager, and is just as nice as Dennis was. He had gathered the information he needed to make the loan prior to me purchasing the van and like 1, 2, 3 it was done. I would go back and buy again from them as they know how to meet your needs, treat you with respect and in the end give you a fair deal.

Great experience, SUV was just as described very clean runs great so far. Harold was great, I live in Pennsylvania and he walked me through the details of registering the car in PA. They made an agreement so I would not have to drive back to Ohio for service. I had an all around great experience. Thanks to all involved.

I looked at at least 5 other dealers trying to find a flawless chevy truck and when I seen what quality of vehicles portage car and truck had in stock there was no need to look further, there the most honest people I have ever delt with , if youre looking for a clean hand picked vehicle you wont be disappointed, paul and his crew are awesome

Gave me a very fair value on my trade towards a used truck. Didn't pressure for a quick deal, kept answering questions until i was satisfied and ready to make the deal. Harold and Paul were honest and helpful start to finish. Cleanest used vehicle i have purchased when i went to pick it up!!

This was the easiest non pressure sales ever. Dennis and Harold were great. We went to several area big car dealers and were not impressed. Will definitely recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a use vehicle.

Do not overlook this Dealership! I recently bought a Chevrolet Truck from Portage Car & Truck Sales & my experience was outstanding. I needed a specific, unusual vehicle and found one listed at Portage Auto. It took a couple calls for the staff to realize I was serious (I live in Maine), but after that all went well. The vehicle was priced fairly and described accurately. The final key to a long-distance, sight unseen purchase was an independent, qualified inspection. I paid Zehner's Service Center (Akron) for this work, and am extremely pleased with their service.

The process was painless, the service excellent, the price great, the vehicle in excellent condition. Who could ask for more. They understood our limits and worked to get my husband in a better vehicle.
