January 2021 - my first maintenance service: A great experience all around. The service writer, I believe his name was Kem, was super helpful knowledgeable and friendly. Top notch! April 2019 when I bought my Honda:Nikki was awesome! She was very responsive to every question and concern. She is very professional, knowledgeable, and explains things very well. Only 500 miles on my CRV and rear tire went flat, found a screw in the tread. Put smaller spare tire on CRV and driove to Dealership to have tire repaired and put back on CRV. Arrived at 6:45am so was first in line when Repair Department opened at 7am. By 9:30am tire was repaired and put back on car with small spare back in vehicle so I could be on my way.

We bought a new Odyssey Touring here in 2013 and loved the no haggle policy. All service has been done at the same location. Because of the highly-integrated electronic package, we bought the extended warranty. In recent service there, the service writer said that a rear shock had blown, was leaking, and that my extended warranty would cover it, without me even bringing it up.

I brought my 2016 Civic in after a recall notice for faulty emergency brake. They worked on the car for about 1 1/2 hours and then gave it back. When I left, the car wouldn't run right (notices on the dash that all systems had a problem). Took the car back and they worked on it again for about an hour. This time, it ran right. The only excuse I received that it was due to the electronics. Left a bad taste in my mouth for their service abilitiesl

had a great experience at this dealership. I walked in knowing almost for sure which certified used vehicle I would buy. It was a Sunday and a busy day for them. I was able purchase the car I wanted, financed the way I wanted, in about 2 hours.I especially appreciate the efforts of Henry Campos, who knows what customer service means. He explained the car, the buying process, and would always check in with me as I was waiting to let me know how the process of paperwork was coming along. Henry helped me pair my phone with the Bluetooth on the car in minutes, explaining how the technological features of the car were very easy to use and control. My experience with the finance specialist, Francisco, was also very positive. He was such an expert at the finance process, It was like he was on autopilot, able to do his job while going out of his way to get to know me and and sharing his personality as well. It really reflected the Poway/North San Diego atmosphere so well, just being friendly, open and respectful. All people are equal. It made the laborious process of paperwork less laborious.Jason was great too, he helped us from the moment we walked onto the dealership to helping us with financing and able to obtain a great interest rate for me. He explained how we were able to get such a great deal on a certified used Honda by the dealership having a lower profit margin and able to provide value in pricing. I am very pleased with deal I got at this dealership and would recommend it to anyone.. I am very pleased with my 2013 Accord LX, and my very reasonable monthly payment without even having to put down a down payment. I also have to praise the Honda brand in general. This is my third Accord. It is such a comfort to drive a car that I know is reliable and not that expense to fix. To me it is luxurious to drive an economical car that provides peace of mind.

I went to this dealership to get a brochure to an Odyssey to get information and to know more about its features. Raj Shetty, senior sales consultant happened to be at the reception area at that time and Raj said they don't have any more 2016 brochures but he can answer with questions about the vehicle. He explained to me the different features of the models and ask me if I would like to do a test drive. And I said, yes, I would love to. While test driving the Touring model, Raj asked me why a mini-van? I answered I own a 2001 Honda Odyssey EX and has given me years of good service without any single vehicle accident or any other major breakdowns. Nothing lasts forever so I told Raj because of the safety features of new vehicles now, I think it's about time to get a new one for my family especially for the safety of our two beautiful grandchildren, ages 7 YO & 5 YO. After the test drive, I sat down with Raj, discussed some numbers and gave me the printouts so I can take it home and confer it with my wife. I went back to Poway Honda the next day, gave them my fair purchase price counter offer, the dealership accepted it including my trade-in. I took delivery of the 2016 Touring Model and Raj being so patient & knowledgeable he is, took time to show me the features of the new vehicle. The next day my family took the Odyssey to Disneyland as a surprise birthday gift to our eldest grandchild. The ride was smooth, a very comfortable space for 7 though it can take 8. We love this new vehicle of ours and I'm going to keep it for awhile. BTW, our son also owns a 2012 Odyssey EX-L. Lastly, big thank you to Raj for a pleasant experience buying a car at Poway Honda.

This was a maintenance visit for oil change, and check the brakes (recommended in the past). Due to the review, the back brake pads were replaces, the oil & air filters were changed. All the work, paperwork, and review was completed in just over 2 hours!!

I took my car in because it was making an indistinguishable noise. The lead mechanic noticed right away what one of the problems was - bad bearings and worn out break pads. The service team (Chuck) was great in that he recommended that I look for a coupon to help with the cost. Also, they replaced the bearings at no cost since Chuck realized that they were under warranty. It was an all around great experience. Thanks Poway Honda!

My car buying experience with Poway Honda in San Diego exceeded any and all my expectations. From the moment I set foot on the property, I was greeted with professional help, friendliness and NO pressure. Angelo Civarella was our salesman and we got basically a 2 for 1 team with him. He started in the service / parts division of the dealership earlier in his career and moved over to sales. To say he "knew" the car I was looking at is a huge understatement. His knowledge of this car was superior to any salesman I've ever dealt with before. I received a deal I was thrilled with! Not only that, but he went beyond the call of duty the very day I took the car home. The car is a hybrid and I had a small issue when I stopped on the way home. Angelo left the dealership, drove in rush hour traffic and met me where I was parked in Ramona. In about 15 minutes he had resolved the problem and I was on my way. Now that's service and with a smile! I highly recommend both him and the Poway Honda dealership.

Came in for a B1 service on my 2015 Honda Civic. The tech who put together my order was extremely friendly, provided all the info I needed and more without my even having to ask. Free wifi in the service center, delicious coffee and snacks, all made my short wait much more enjoyable. Speaking of short wait: Less than 40 minutes after driving up, I'm driving away with a fresh wash and all. Couldn't have asked for better service!

Just recently purchased a brand new car from this dealership. After finishing my finance paperwork I walked outside and notice several small dents on the top of my brand new car. Nobody at the dealership had noticed, which was frustrating to me and indicative of lack of attention to detail. If I hadn't have noticed the dents right before I left, this dealership would have sold me a brand new dented car. After complaining, the dealership agreed to remove the dents for free, but I wasn't able to take the car home the day I made the purchase. I also wasn't compensated with anything for the screw up/hassle.I wouldn't recommend this dealership to a friend. There are so many other local Honda dealerships that it isn't worth the risk of buying a car with some other unknown problem. If you're going to spend 20k on a new car the dealership owes it to you to throughly check the vehicle.

The service is excellent except I was told to replace the battery. Mike told me the car battery is very low. I called AAA to come check the battery and the test came out as good. The battery was replaced in December 2014 and is in great condition.I want to know why I was asked to buy the new battery at the first place?

Experience with this dealer is the greatest. Nyphon Vue deserved to be mentioned on this review. He took care of everything including passenger seatbelt problems, leaks on the front shocks, etc. Nyphon has shown great passion to what he's doing and loving every moment helping customers. I went by on a Sunday morning to look at Civics & really liked them, My salesperson was awesome & I felt very comfortable with her, We sat down for a while and she gave me the cost for both purchasing & leasing, I told her that I wasn't quite ready to buy but was interested! The next Saturday I went to another part of town & looked at every make of car that compares to a civic and then went to another Honda dealer & saw a brand new model "Touring"!that just came in & was still on the back lot! I wanted it! I spent an hour & a half playing the old games you play often when purchasing a new car just to realize how good of a price Poway Honda had given me the week before! So I went backe to Poway Honda & they did not have one in stock, But within one hour made an exchange with the other dealer and had the car at there lot! They honored there same deal & even helped me a little more and were a pleasure to work with from top to bottom! They gave me the best car buying experience I've ever had!!! Started off as a Lease, the Dealer salesman GARY was awesome got me a great deal on a (then new) Honda Civic sedan. Fast forward 3 years, GARY is still there and got me some great services to accompany the vehicle including an extended warranty up to 80K miles bumper to bumper. Process took about an hour and a half. The car was serviced at the dealer when needed and was done the next day. Complimentary shuttle to take me home and bring me back to the dealer was nice. Would recommend Poway Honda to friends and family who are looking to buy or lease a new vehicle.

I am very pleased with how Poway Honda took care of my vehicle on my recent periodic service visit. With a 'service required' light on and with no appointment I went to the dealership very early hoping that perhaps the service department could somehow accommodate me. They did. The service advisor who usually takes care of my vehicles was kind enough to take me in. From what I observed I am fairly certain that the advisor had to do some adjustment on his side to accommodate servicing my vehicle. It was a timely visit as during the inspection it turned out that the rear brake pads already needs replacement. As usual the advisor explained to me the work required and the cost. More importantly, he said that they can do the work on the brakes that same day. I did not mind waiting as the dealership has very comfortable customer waiting areas and facilities. The overall service maintenance took less time than I expected, Plus I got the usual genuine parts and professional service.

I leased a CR-V EXL just recently and I can only rave about the fantastic experience I had. I went in to trade in my Accord Coupe because I've recently become a fully time Grandma and need a bigger vehicle. I was going to get a 4 door Accord. After the salesman Gary Lobel showed me all of my options, I spotted a CR-V and realized that would better suit my needs. Gary Lobel quickly put some numbers together with the help of Desk Manager Jim Breen to help me get to a payment that was similar to the Accord. Gary was patient while I weighed my options and he showed me at least 3 different vehicles so that I could make up my mind. Once I had agreed to the numbers I was quickly introduced to the Finance Manager, (can't remember her name) who took care of me with equal customer service and friendliness. I have to say Bravo Poway Honda. This was an enjoyable experience~ Would recommend as 5 star!

There's always a stigma that once we need maintainance and we decide to go to a "dealership," we will get quotes of additional services or suggestions of additional services which are not needed where the technician will basically "power sell" this recommendation until we agree on those services. There's also always the fear that bringing our car for it's routine maintainance, the dealership technicians will find another repair which we did not plan on?!My experience at Poway Honda has always been very positive. Form the moment I bought my car (2010 Honda Accord Crosstour) to the first oil change and through all the routine maintainance procedures I've had for 6 years now, I've always have a very happy, convenient and honest services/transactions. All the staff are very professional, friendly and personable--Yes!! I'm still talking about a car dealership and not a restaurant : ). I have been a very loyal customer for years and will continue for as long as Poway Honda will be LIKE THIS--EXCELLENT AND VERY PROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I know my car is fairly new but I have had no issues whatsoever with it's performance.

I was there for a quick oil change and brake light part. I took the suggestion of tire rotation. Didn't have time for other suggestions like timing belts, spark plugs, and brakes rotor noise. Got the recall list verified. Got the brake light part and how to install it myself. I was very happy with the service I received, however, as I was driving home from the dealership, my "Check Tire Pressure" warning came on. This seems to happen regularly, and I just go to Discount Tires and they check the pressure and turn off the warning for me. I was, however, surprised that it would come on right after servicing the vehicle.

When I got there, it was very crowded but I had made an appointment and within minutes I was greeted and assisted. Mario Araiza was awesome! Very professional, thorough and friendly. He checked the history on my car, let me know of a few recent recalls they had been notified about (I had not even received the info yet). Explained everything. They did the normal maintenance (since I always go there they give me 10% off!) and took care of an odd squeak that I had when turning left - apparently they had some kind of tech note on it so were able to fix at no charge. I was in and out in under 2 hours even with the large crowd! Will continue to go back.While I waited, I plugged in my computer, used their free wifi, had some great coffee from their cool machine and was able to get work done. This is a huge benefit as well.

Truly fortunate to have dealt with Poway Honda on a recent service issue that was affecting the performance of our Odyssey's battery. One of their service advisors was able to talk me through some home troubleshooting over the phone...before I even brought the car in. Then, once I got it jumped, he was able to provide the diagnostic analysis and recommend an electrical relay replacement/AC system flush that would not cost an extraordinary amount. Had some issues with my new Accord that I purchased at Poway Honda. The service guy contacted Honda and got it fixed for me quickly. Honda doesn't supply loaner vehicles, yet I purchased the Honda Extended Warranty and they supply loaners for warranty work. Good thing I bought it! I am happy with the service I received and I will be back!

I worked with Mike Deason to get my vehicle repaired. He contacted Honda on my behalf and they got it repaired quickly and efficiently. I found it odd that Honda doesn't provide rental vehicles, yet Mike told me that since I have the Honda Extended Warranty that they would pay for my rental. Good thing I bought it! Mike was great though and I would highly recommend working with Mike.

This is definitely the best Honda sales department. I can hardly imagine any other store could offer such a fantastic shopping experience. I first got in touch with Poway Honda by their online chatting system. Cindy Cruz gave excellent answers to my questions and provided an amazing price of 2014 Honda Accord LX along with an unbelievable 0% APR financing package. Although some confusions happened later on, when I called the general manager of Poway Honda, they tried their best to solve the problem and honored the previous deal we made. Even though that may be a price made by mistakes, but they respect their customers and give honor to what they promise. I believe no other dealer department can be so faithful. After that, my husband and I went to Poway Honda to look at the car and process all the buying procedure. Poway Honda provided us wonderful service; I really Love Dianne Agustin, who helped us pick the color and test the car. She is so lovely and passionate about her job. I feel no pressure and so at ease with her. I also Love Carly Scott, the finance manager. She is so gentle and warm; she explains everything so clearly to us and introduces to us many interesting warranty packages patiently even though we didn't buy them eventually. The similarities of Dianne and Carly were that when we bought the car with them, we weren't simply talking about the car, but we got to know their life, their passion about their work and their love towards the customers. Last but not least, I must give credit to the sales manager Greg Peek for his faithfulness. This is a fantastic experience.To conclude my experience in Poway Honda in one sentence: they do perfectly what they promise and they love their customers.

To keep a long story short, the salesmen at this dealership will tell you whatever they feel will get you to buy a car. I went to see a 2004 Honda Civic and after test driving the thing with interior molding falling from the left side of the windshield I asked the salesman why an EX model didn't have alloy wheels (what it was advertised to have even in the cars.com ad) He proceeded to tell me that EX models didn't come with alloy wheels that year. So I said "oh" and when I got home checked the standard equipment on that model year/trim level... and what do I see.. ALLOY WHEELS. Yul Blake, the salesman mentioned he'd been working at Poway Honda for a while and previously was at a dealership in Riverside. I figured a person selling cars for that long would know that an EX model would have come stock with alloy wheels. I guess they didn't want to admit the vehicle bad been stripped of the more valuable wheels since they were charging over $1000 over retail blue book for the thing. I won't be going back to Poway Honda for a purchase for sure, new or used.

We dealt with Amaechi and he was a gem. Full of information, knows his cars well and very helpful. In car sales you rarely find a salesperson who truly understands the meaning of integrity and Ameachi exceeded our expectations. He totally understands that we could have bought a car anywhere and but he made the experience and the deal perfect. Carly in financing was great too. I have bought several cars and I loathe the whole" upgrade this and that, do you want this add on and that add on" scenario. None of that here. They offered all that stuff but no pressure to up sale, just information. I really felt like they wanted us to get what we needed and wanted not the other way around. If you are looking for a great buying experience, do you your home work and give these guys a shot. You'll walk away happy. I did.

Initially, I was interested in some of the used cars in their network. Well, not really, but I was trying to keep it on the cheap. I worked with several women here, but primarily with Audrey (sales) and Carly (finance). I never felt pressured to make a decision one way over another. Long story short, after running the numbers, buying new wasn't going to cost me as much as I'd feared, and meant no worries about expensive maintenance and no running all over Southern California looking at used cars and trying to figure out just how much of a risk they were. Plus, the new model has some amazing standard features, like a backup camera. I left with a brand new 2013 Civic. I was waiting for a check from my insurance company, which was my down payment, but they were going to stop covering my rental several days before they actually got the check to me. (Crazy...) Poway Honda was willing to hold my check until the money was available, and I got a loan with a rate as low or lower than I could have gotten from my credit union to cover the rest.

I recently had to part with the car I received on the very first day I went to college. I knew two things: My next car would be a Toyota or a Honda (reliability/longevity) and it had to be cheap, so that I wouldn't have to worry about a car payment. After contacting Poway Honda via cars.com about a used civic, it turned out to be sold already. Audrey follwed up with me right away asking why I had liked the initial car and what I was looking for (my needs). Did I mention she did all of this via text (as I had requested... I was at work)?! Within the hour, she checked their used inventory, including intake which wasn't yet ready for sale and got back to me with the perfect choice ( '95 Toyota Camry with only 90k miles). I was able to come in for a test drive after work and they began the cleaning, inspections and replacements. I have had the car for a few days now and other than normal used car stuff (brakes need some work and antenna buzzes, but I'm not complaining... I did get a new set of tires) could not be happier with my purchase! Buying a car is no fun at all and Audrey made it bearable. Thank you, Audrey!

I was shopping around online to get quotes for Accord Sport 2013 white and Poway Honda came up as lowest price in San Diego county. However the car was not in stock and I have to wait still May to get the car. While waiting for Accord Sport, my wife and I were considering EX or EX-L. We came back to Poway Honda again to got our EX-L silver. It was a great car and it has all luxury features of luxury car and it even has more feature than my Lexus IS 250. The buy experience at Poway Honda was great. I bought an Accord EX 2001 here back in 2001 before. Sale men (Amaechi Anyanwu and Dominic Lopez) were great, helpful, funny and informative. They don't pressure you to buy things. They provided me all information I needs. We had email exchange, text exchanges and phone calls for several days before we decided to go for EX-L instead of Sport. If you want good deal in San Diego county, I'd recommend Poway Honda and Amaechi Anyanwu or Dominic Lopez.

We were looking at buying a used Chevy Tahoe and were immediately greeted by a salesman named Stacey Spohn. We have bought many cars and I can honestly say he was the best salesman we have every had! Very attentive, kind, knowledgeable and not at all pushy. He gave my husband and I space a few times so we could just talk things thru and not be rushed. Being that were buying a vehicle from the used lot I expected him to not have much knowledge on the vehicle. Much to my surprise you would have thought the man built the car with the amount of information he had on it! He took his time even though it was 10pm and even did a walk thru and explained all the gadgets on it after I bought the Tahoe. I searched for it all over the place in Southern California, nobody was able to provide it for me. I had some very bad experiences with couple of dealerships near LA, who tricked me into getting to their dealership by saying that they have that model available for a particular price but later they went back on their words saying they don't have it and that they can get it for me from private dealers for a higher price. This is, what I would say, UNETHICAL. But when I spoke with Poway Honda, these people told me straight away that they can get me the vehicle from one of their sister dealership for a particular price and that this price will never change, no matter where they get it from. And they kept their words. I would like to thanks AUDREY, BROOKS and CLAUDENE for getting me my first car so smoothly and easily without any hassles. Especially AUDREY is awesome!!! She is soooooo friendly and understanding. She helped me with each and every step of the purchase and as promised by her, I got my new car next day itself. And I got exactly what I wanted. Love my Accord! When I've known Nick, he was studying to become a diocesan priest in San Diego! He would have been a wonderful priest! His calling was elsewhere. He chose to leave the priesthood for marriage. My husband and I became very close with his family. You could say growing pains. He has a loving wife with 2 children about 10 yrs apart. With the loss of his father from the cause of the Vietnam War (agent orange) he had no father figure at the age of 15. Seen Nick grow up to what he has become! From the trials and errors he and his family has gone thru...loosing his job more than 4 times..his home in Temecula..the cars they own,call to mention keep breaking down..especially his MiniVan. He would commute by riding his bicycle, train, and buses...whatever it took from getting where he needed to go...he never gave up..there was always hope...there was always his immediate family, his wife and kids who never gave up on Nick! God is not sleeping..we are all so proud of where he is! Knowing he's at Honda is a great niche for him because he loves people.. He is so lovable by anyone he encounters with! The young, the old, and the people who are about to die. His charisma and charm will have no problem in selling anything! With his involvement in his community, his church in teaching kids for over 20 yrs and being a liturgical minister, selling cars should not be any problem! He will be successful..he just have to Believe It with compassion. Nick is someone we would trust in purchasing our next Honda. We have a 1993 Accord and plan to purchase a new Accord to last another 20 yrs or over until we die! We can't bring our cars to heaven but we could drive what's best and safe for our families! Right? I just arrived from India and work for Qualcomm. Like many buyers, I was referred to purchase my vehicle at POWAY Honda. Since I was already approved from my credit union, all I needed was a vehicle that satisfied my needs for my family. It came between owning an Accord or a CRV. When I first arrived at this dealership, I came with a friend in which Yule helped my friend purchase his Accord. I was greeted by Yule. He was ok, but not patient with my buying decision between 2 vehicles! He put me in with another associate named Dominic. I was in good hands with Dominic. He was very patient with me and my friend in test driving the Accord and a CRV, both 2013. I was only picking a vehicle that I could feel safe for my family and friends. I know I'm very new to this country and my driving is not the best but Dominic didn't care.. As long as we were safe no matter what speed I was traveling. I picked the CRV because of its safety features and its great looks! Didn't care less on its other features... But cared enough for the rear view back up camera and the blue tooth! After the test drive my friend and I went inside and talked to Yule although we knew Dominic really sold us the features on the CRV not Yule. Since Yule told us that Dominic is in training that if its okay to sit in while Yule does all the talking. Since I already knew I was approved from my credit union all I need was the order form, Vin #. My bank will just wire the funds over to Poway Honda. When we left the dealership, my friend told me that we didn't get a good vibe from Yule as much as we did from Dominic...I agreed with my friend. Dominic was so kind and generous to us more than Yule! I will tell all my co-workers from Qualcomm to see Dominic because of his charm and kindness. I received a few call backs from Dominic to see how my car is doing and to see how my family is doing as well. Thank you again Dominic for delivering the CAR straight to my parking stall! Just want to say I wasn't shopping! Had a great experience from Dominic at the Internet Department. Just talking with him on a used vehicle that he had on the lot and with the features this vehicle had, made me feel comfortable with his honesty and sincerity. Just with the tone of his voice, he is not like those pushy salespersons that's forcing me to buy or making me to negotiate. We probably talked for 15 mins! If I would rate him between 1-10, 10 being e highest, he's out of the charts! I'm not exaggerating...he someone I can trust in buying my next vehicle! He searched outside e box a car that suited my needs from other dealerships from his sister stores, which I would have never looked! Even offered me that if I'm a committed buyer to purchase a car at Buena Park that the vehicle would cost nothing to get it to Poway! We talked further and I said I had an interest in purchasing a Pilot with Navigation. Since Dominic said he owns one he began to talk me in know what my needs are and more importantly what my wants are.. Do I really need Navigation or want? There's a big difference, right? Knowing what a customers needs and wants are, can be so beneficial in my buying power....So with that said, I believe his training has taught me how to purchase my vehicle! Kudos to Dominic's trainer! I'm sure one day Dominic would be a great trainer or be a head Trainer of a Dealership! I was in the market for a car and visited the Honda of Poway website. I was contacted by Audrey. I was very impressed by her professionalism and no high pressure tactic. On one occasion I even asked her to hold a car for me that I had seen on the website until I was able to drive to the dealership to look at it. I bought a Honda CRV from Poway Honda March 2012. This Year (March 2013) when my son needed a car the first dealership my husband and I thought of was Poway Honda. I went to the dealership early one morning, without my son or my husband, just to see what thay had on the lot. The store was not yet opened for business but as I was walkinig away, Brooks Simpson came out the side door. Brooks was the same salesperson who sold me the CRV so I felt at ease talking to him about prices on different models . On impulse bought a car that I thought was the perfect fit for my son. Well you guessed it, he was totally disappointed. I had to go back to Brooks and tell him I had to change the car. I watched as the color drained from his face because we had already activated the security system and made other changes to the car. He quickly recovered and said "no problem I will have to work with my manager to get your son into a car that he is comfortable with" WOW! I was not expecting that. A couple hours later my son and I left the dealership- me with peace of mind, my son with a brand new Civic and a smile on his face. Thanks Brooks for making the experience a very pleasant, and satisfying one!

My husband and I were shopping for a family van for our growing little family. We went to a few dealership in town to test drive and check out the cars. Although this dealership is not the most conveniently located for us, we were blown away by the knowledgeable and hard working staff. Mr. Amaechi is simply the best. He knows everything there is to know about our brand new Odyssey Touring Elite, down to the built in ice chest in the car. He worked hard to get us the color we wanted and was more than happy to show us repeatedly how to work the gadgets. Took our gas guzzler into them for a trade in; had offers from Mossy Nissan and Car Max. Their offer was just as good - and they had the car we wanted. Both Audrey and Tanya were so helpful, mindful of our time, and genuinely concerned about our welfare throughout the whole process. Once the offer was presented regarding the trade-in and we said yes, we were out within the hour; and Sam got us through finance quickly and professionally. We drove the car home and have been completely satisfied. Was actually shocked that I got a call back from Audrey, after we had the car for a few weeks, checking in with us to make sure we were still satisfied! Amazing! I won't buy a car from another dealer again - only Poway Honda!

Michael was extremely knowledgable and friendly. He explained the breakdown of the service in detail, arranged a shuttle service for me and my 2 children home as the wait was quite a few hours. I only had to wait 5 mins for the shuttle service. Very smooth procedure.

Horrible service. I did an oil change and multi-point check up. After more than one hour waiting, they just asked me to pay the money. Not any explains about the results. On the report it said V/C gasket leak and driving belt crackling. How bad it is? Do I need to replace them soon? Or after few months? I called back several times, and no one answered.

I took my brand new CR-V to Poway Honda after my first home-hand wash after I found a small manufacturer's paint defect under the top-rear light. They didn't hessitate to make arraignments/appointment for me to drop-off the CR-V to correct the problem with their auto body shop. They provide me with a rental car at no charge while my car was being repaired. Whenever I call to check on the status of my car and the service manager/representative was not available at that time, he did returned my call within a hour or so. Every occassion that I have come in to Poway Honda dealership if I was looking around to find someone for assistance or Mr. Randy, other employees would ask me "Can I help?" So far, Poway Honda has provide me with the best purchase and auto servicee experience and this is not my first time buying a new car.

I had been researching online for a Chrysler Town and Country and had a unhappy situation at a local Dealership , they said they would work with me, and to make a long story short...we ended up taking the bus home...not happy ! They are not associated with Cars.com.... Gary Lobel, worked with me over the phone and online, so I wouldn't have to drive all the way to Poway, until the Deal was done. This was the Best Experience Ever..I had read Great Customer Reviews before I inquired, and this is I why I went the Distance to purchase a vehicle...I live in Imperial Beach and nothing will compare to Poway Honda...Our second vehicle...we will definitely shop here..I Truly Believe that Everything Happens For A Reason.. I knew the car and model that I wanted and used cars.com to find the local dealers and ask them for a bid. Poway Honda called me within 20 minutes and offered a price that was slightly BELOW the "best price" listed on cars.com. The other dealers either didn't respond or quoited the manufactures recommended list price, but asked me to come in and "we'll make a deal." There was no hasstle dealing with Poway Honda and I was treated very professionally, friendly and efficiently. I really enjoy my new Honda and have recommended Poway HOnda to several friends.

My buying experience here was exceptional. Gary is an amazing person. He went out of his way to ensure I was happy with everything. I purchased a used Infiniti from Poway Honda, and even though it wasnt a Honda I was treated the same as if I was. They did not hide anything, he presented me the carfax before I could even look at the vehicle, told me about small and minor issues right away. I found a ding and a leather scuff, which he said he would make sure was fixed, and when it was it looked like new. The finance dept. worked hard to help me out as well.

He is extremely courteous, explains everything concisely and, importantly, does not recommended unnecessary services. I went to this dealership because of a recall notice, and was pleasantly surprised that no one tried to up-sell any unrelated service. My paperwork was handled efficiently, the car was ready when promised, and I was in-and-out without wasting any time. I would probably go back to them when it is time for a scheduled maintenance.

I simply cannot say enough about the wonderful people I worked with at Poway Honda. The biggest kudos go to Brooks Simpson - this man deserves a week's paid vacation for all the hoops he jumped through on my behalf! I decided I had to have a very difficult-to-come-by (as I would later find out) CR-Z in a specific color and package. I have been in San Diego less than a year but have always dealt with dealerships in Texas, and my family is in the automotive business. Frankly, I was nervous about dealing with a California dealer, especially being a mid-20's female walking in with a trade-in and without a male presence.Brooks negotiated a very good trade-in value for current vehicle - one that proved to be untouchable by ANY other dealership I talked to. Big points right there because I know what the car is worth, and know what kind of profit a dealership needs to turn on a trade-in like mine. The initial offer was rock solid, but as I needed to pay off the note, I asked for a little more and Brooks was able to get it for me. As for the CR-Z, he cut straight to the chase with the best price I found in all of my hunting - I didn't even have to haggle. I love that - don't BS me just be honest and you'll have my business! I was super happy and told him I'd sign on the line and trade keys as soon as he located a white CR-Z. Unfortunately for Brooks, we quickly found out how difficult this would be. Nearly two weeks went by, and God bless him, I must have sent him 50 texts bugging him asking if he had found the car yet - I'm admittedly impatient. He was so quick to respond each time and was always checking every dealership around for my "unicorn" of a new car. I got so impatient I went to deal with another dealership who promised they had the car. About 90 minutes in traffic later, I quickly realized how much of a SCAM DCH Honda of Lemon Grove is. This review is not about them and I won't let my terrible experience get in the way of my rave review for Poway Honda, but suffice it to say: STAY AWAY FROM DCH HONDA OF LEMON GROVE! If you live in Lemon Grove, drive to Poway and deal with Brooks. It will be well worth the extra drive time. Even though my loyalty wavered, Brooks stayed diligent and even called me to let me know about an awesome 0.9% APR opportunity. When I went in to try to sign up for Honda Promise to get the 0.9% rate... Brooks pulled some serious strings (Super BAMF Status) and was actually able to get the car I had walked away from at the other dealership. SCORE! That was awesome and I will tell that story for a long, long time. Well done. The entire process was the quickest, most pain-free that I have ever dealt with, and I buy a new car every 2 years, so I think I can say that with some level of experience. Tony C., the salesman who talked tuner Hondas with me when I went back a few days later (Brooks was off) to pick up the CR-Z and and Amanda in finance also get Honorary Gold Stars for their service, senses of humor and "real people" factor. I didn't meet one Sleazy Salesman during any of my visits to Poway Honda and that speaks volumes for the types of employees they attract. I'm seriously trying to convince my fiance to buy a Honda just so we can deal with them again. I will recommend every person who asks me about my spunky new hybrid to Poway and specifically to Brooks Simpson. All around class acts. Thanks Poway Honda; you made making a huge financial decision while my better half is away fighting in Afghanistan so much easier than it could have been. Thanks Brooks for going above and beyond and literally hunting down my unicorn.

Needed to speak with the GM regarding an issue and was very pleassnt in requesting to speak with him. He was unwilling to take my calls and would not return the calls when messages were left. This has gone on for too long and i finally gave up. Will not recommend this dealership to anyone I know.

My wife and I recently purchased a Honda CRV from a smaller dealership. They offered fix or replace anything we found wrong with the vehicle within the first 30 days. After purchasing the vehicle, we noticed a grinding noise coming from the brakes and the steering wheel would shake when applying the brakes. We decided it'd be best to take it straight to the Honda Dealership to have it inspected and checked out by thier own certified technicians. Anything they found wrong and reccomended replacing we could then take it right back to the dealership and have it fixed for free. After their inspection they noted that the rotors were warped but said they didn't need replaced, and that the grinding and shaking would go away in a few days.A month later it only got worse. We had our own mechanic friend check them out and said they were beyond repair.. "too worn to have turned." For safety reasons we went ahead and had the brakes and rotors replaces with new ones and SUPRIZE... the grinding and shaking is no more. After presenting this situation to Poway Honda they couldn't have cared less and felt they owed us nothing. Quite frankly, what they owe us is the full cost of the repairs we had to make due to them screwing us out of getting the problem fixed in the first place!!They were very condenscending towards my wife and said the independant garage we had do the repairs were misleading and not needed. Yet, they can't explain why replacing these parts has eliminated the problems we took our vehicle to them in the first place.Whatever the case is, it's sad when people can't admit when they are wrong and at the very least offer an apology.. heck, maybe even a free oil change or something????I highly reccomend NOT going to this place for service of your vehicle because it would appear they are only into creating problems in the hopes that you return to them for the more expensive repairs!!!!

Bad Service, Expensive Parts. Went to get the car serviced and and wanted to know the past history they said they wouldn't allow me to see my service history as it's against HONDA policy. I called up honda America and they said no such policy exists. I then go back and tell them, and then they tell me it's their own policy. It seems like in order for you to buy more services from them they won't tell you your last service history if you got the car preowned. Escondido honda treated me much better.

Whenever one is shopping for a car, ALL salespeople become your "newest and bestest" friends. The people at Poway Honda, especially Gary Lobel and Robert Guitron, not only treated me with class, but I received great help and no pressure, even when I took a weekend to look further and to "think about it." I WANTED to go back! They both worked hard to get me the VERY BEST price on my new Crosstour (and I really shopped around, before and after). They also went out of their way to locate the exact vehicle I wanted, while other dealers offered me only what was in their stock. No other dealer tried as hard.There are several Honda dealerships closer to my home, but after visiting Gary Lobel at Poway Honda, I happily went out of my way to return. I know now how Gary earned the honor of "Gold Master" in the Council of Sales Leadership. I will recommend him, and Poway Honda, to anyone I can.

We requested a bid through the internet from Poway Honda and when we arrived at their dealership they honored their exact bid. The bid was not the absolute lowest received but was very close and Poway Honda was closer to us than some of the other dealers. Reann was especially friendly and very knowledgeable about the Honda products, especially for being such a new employee. Robert was very cooperative when we needed to purchase additional vehicle coverage and theft protection. Our purchasing experience with Poway Honda was a very good one, and based on that we would recommend them to other potential buyers.

I went there for a Honda Accord. The staff were very rude. When i said the other dealers were offering less, the staff said very rudely to go there and buy the car. " are you seriously looking for a car" this was the question he asked me right after 10 mins we had a chat. We complained this to another staff and that guy replied saying " yeah, are you serously looking for a car?". "You are no where near to buy a car and you can leave the place". This is the way they reacted when i was talking very politely. They will be the ones for sure to give a worst price. Try other big dealers around you will 100% get a good price than these guys.

They sell a Karr security system for $300-$500. it worth only $50. And didn't tell me it is not a honda-made system.They tell me the oringinal security system doesn't work very well, I have to buy a Karr to pretect my car. They already installed it, if I don't buy, it will take time to remove it.

Last July I bought a used Mustang GT. The car was in excellent condition. Jim (salesman) was polite, courteous, and very professional. I got financed with not so great credit. Although they did try and add on a few extras (lojack,extended warranty, etc. which is typical of any dealership) I still got a really good deal. Quick and painless, I was out the door in under 2 hours. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

2005 Accord with "shuddering" problem when braking - and a good battery. The front rotors and pads were replaced just prior to taking the car to Poway Honda, but this did not solve the problem. Poway Honda then diagnosed the problem as being caused by the new "aftermarket rotors", and said the battery needed replacement. Told that the front rotors were brand new and not the problem, Poway Honda refused to inspect the car for any other cause. After leaving Poway Honda, the battery would no longer start the car. Another mechanic correctly diagnosed that the REAR rotors were warped causing the "shudder", and found that electrolyte was removed from the battery to make it appear bad. In short: Poway Honda misdiagnosed the problem, wanted to charge for unnecessary repairs, refused to consider the correct diagnosis, but were very friendly while trying to screw me.

I did an online quote on Accord EX-L V6 and got an email back from an internet sales person asking me some info. According to my friend's recent buying experience for his Accord and the carsdirect.com offer, I told her my target price. She said "YES WE CAN DO IT" and asked me to come over to look at it. Then I said I need an exact price quote before I come. She gave me a price list about their internet "bottom-line price", then I found their price was pretty high, above $1000 higher than carsdirect.com. I told her about this and she became angry and sent a rude email to me. I simply don't want to do business with them. My impression is: Poway Honda tends to lure people and overcharge them to make large profit if the buyers don't know the real deal they should get. If they found you know the real internet price, they become rude and don't want to do business with you. In San Diego area, I found Ball Honda or Pacific Honda are far more honest than Poway Honda on the pricing.

Well, I bought my new Civic there - the purchase was a good experience. Well, it had a rattle (pretty loud) near the left rear passenger area. The first time they go well we didn't hear it (turns out they didn't drive it and the guy thought it was an engine noise - that's how bad the service managers notes were). The second time, they replaced the seatbelt (decided this was the problem without an inspection). Well, it wasn't the problem! So I took it back again. Now I have been out of my car for 2 days. This time they replace one of the side curtain air bags - the problem goes away for a few days and then comes back louder than ever. A month or two later I had some tint installed from a highly recommended installer. He says they didn't install the rear deck right and it is jammed in the wrong slots. I go well, those morons must have done this to get rid of the rattle. He looks around and says well, it is probably this loose cable here. So he reinstalls the rear deck correctly, and wraps the cable in in some foam tape. Ta dah! Problem fixed, never came back.So Poway Honda wasted 3 of my days and charged Honda for a new air bag and seat belt for no reason at all, simply because they didn't bother to look for something obvious. Overall, very dissapointed!I will probably buy my next car from Hoehn since they are a little cheaper.

Pete helped us and he was friendly and helpful and took care of everything. When I came to pick up my car, it was clean and working great. In fact, everyone I came in contact, was helpful and friendly!

Do not go to this dealer. They sold me a lemon and will not honor their warranties. They took 9 months just to give me my registration and sold me a car that was not up to honda certified specifications. I took it there to get my heater fixed and they messed up my air conditioning. When I finally found out and told them; the lady said " We did our repairs!" These guys will not recognize that they sold me a car with a DVD player that does not even work. I thought it was a great buy because it had rims, a DVD player and fog lights but I was wrong. Do not buy from them; you will regret it. Check the Better Business Bereau- they have a lot of complaints against them.Not to mention, the customer service sucks. It makes me wonder, how many people out there got screwed by them?

My experience at the service department at Poway Honda is always a negative experience. I always feel like i'm not welcomed at the service department. In addition, i am treated with no respect and often talked down to. I've dealt with numerous service department employees and based off my experience, only 10% of them knew what they were talking about. The other 90% have absolutely no knowledge of Honda vehicles. <br>
