We were traveling on vacation when our f-250 started having problems. Had no idea where to go since we were from out of town. Prater was the closest ford dealership so I went to them. The lady at the counter was very helpful. Service was also excellent. The mechanic took the time to explain what was wrong and what he was doing to fix it. To my surprise they were able to fix the truck and have us on the road again the next day.

My headlights stopped working which was a recall. I called my usual place and was told I would have to wait four days for an appointment and that I would need to leave the vehicle for three hours at least. I brought it there after calling and explaining my situation, one hour later I had working headlights! You were a life saver. I drove 12 miles versus 55! You are a keeper!

Everyone worked great with us even though we were on a very limited schedule in terms of the time we had to get the deal completed. It was so nice to work with someone that was customer friendly as opposed to the old associate we dealt with at the dealership. I think his name was Grant Walraven and boy am I glad I do not have to deal with him anymore!

Gary, my salesman, was available from the moment I decided to buy a new mustang several years ago until I signed the papers. Even though he knew that I planned to buy the 2014 and it was still 2011, he answered all the questions I had throughout the entire process. When I decided to wait for the 2015, he was still friendly and helpful. If/when I decide to buy another car, I will definitely go back and talk to him.

I ALWAYS HAVE A GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH PRATER FORD . I WENT IN FOR A OIL CHANGE AND THEY FOUND A LEAK AT THE REAR OF THE TRANSMISSION . IT WAS A BAD SEAL . THEY ORDERED MY PART CALLED TO LET ME KNOW WHEN TO BRING MY TRUCK IN GOT ME A RENTAL CAR TO DRIVE WHILE MY TRUCK WAS BEING REPAIRED. WHEN I WENT TO PICK MY TRUCK UP THEY DID NOT THINK IT WAS COVERED UNDER MY WARRENTY SO I HAD TO PAY 97.00 DOLLARS WHICH WAS OK AS LONG AS MY TRUCK WAS FIXED . THE NEXT DAY PRATER FORD CALLED ME AND SAID WE WERE WRONG THE SEAL IS COVERED ON MY WARRENTY AND I WAS DUE A REFUND. SO I STOPPED BUY ON MY WAY TO WORK AND PICKED UP A CHECK FOR $97.00 . IT GOOD TO DEAL WITH HONEST PEOPLE . THEY COULD JUST AS EASY HAVE KEEP MY $97.00 AND I WOULD NEVER HAVE KNOWN IT WAS COVERED UNDER MY WARRENTY. I sent a request simply asking if a 2011 Ford F150 I was interested in had the step in the tailgate. A simple yes or no would have worked. I got several e-mails over the next week that was a generic form saying someone would contact me and they appreciate my business and so on. Finally 8 days later I got an e-mail wondering if I had received their emails sent but still never answered my question. I responded back and said that was my only question, but the person I was emailing said she could not help me and she would have someone else contact me the next day. 2 days later I got an email from someone else in the company who was not who I was told was going to contact me stating that they were sorry, but the vehicle I was interested in had sold a week or two prior and they no longer had it. A few weeks later, I was back on Cars.com and saw the same vehicle that I had been looking at still listed so I called the company. The person that answered the phone when I called tried referring me to look at their website which had the same exact info. After several minutes on the phone, I was finally able to convince him to go out and look at the truck to just give me a yes or no on my question. The worst part about it was the fact that he was on a portable phone and was able to talk to me the whole time he was walking out!!! I don't know how big this dealership is, but obviously the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. I would never buy a vehicle from this company or recommend them to anyone.

Prater Ford is a friendly, smaller dealership where you can get a fair deal without being pressured. Sarge (Ralph) and Mike are knowledgeable and great to deal with. We found a used car on line, went to test drive it, and made a deal in a matter of minutes after the test drive. Mr. Prater even came by to chat - again, no pressure. I live about an hour away and had never heard of Prater Ford. I'm so glad we found them thru cars.com. I love my almost-new used Expedition!

On morning of April 10th we were traveling north on I75 and the diesel exhaust fluid "alarm" was going off. We had just put in 2 gallons and decided to pull into this Ford dealer to have the truck looked at. The service department was so very helpful, put our minds at ease, and immediately worked on it. The poured in over 2 gallons of exhaust fluid, checked the level, reset all computer settings, at no charge. I did purchase another 2.5 gallons, and the owner gave us very good directions to get back onto the highway. We followed his directions, passing through the fair town of Calhoun, which we found to be very nice in it's southern charm. We highly recommend this business if you ever find yourself in need of of some service or vehicle attention. We will if we are passing through and have some vehicle difficulties.

After an exhaustive and disappointing online search by both my husband and myself, we found a ray of light at Prater. From the first moment to the last it was a very pleasant experience. They responded quickly to our inquiry. Upon our arrival we were treated like family by the whole team, including the owner with whom we had a nice chat. We left not feeling like customers, but like family. We didn't think this kind of customer care existed any longer, but it does at Prater Ford.

This most recent experience was quite good. Made an appointment and indicated ahead of time I would be staying while it was repaired. The indicated repair was estimated beforehand to take about an hour. I was out in an hour.

Had an oil change done to our Ranger. Developed an oil leak not to long after. Had different shop's look into where my leak was coming from. Unbelievable, Prater Ford who did the oil change seems as though they neglected to clean off the oil mount from any dirt as well as not tightening down the filter properly. Problem solved. But not by Prater! The problem was caused by Prater! Makes one wonder. if they can't do an oil change right would you trust them with anything else, like say your brakes or any other thing!
